Sarah arrived from her sailing and fishing excursion with Rivets. She'd let her hair down during the fun choosing a simple loose ponytail, however any look of that been swept away as her hair had been tied back in a severe bun, for the delta type operation she'd chosen combat fatigues in the Burian style. Her service pistol strapped prominently at her hip.

However she waited outside the actual command area, watching out of noticeable sight. Observing how things were run. Marrying two systems together required a deft hand and the more observations she could make the better.

SGT MAJ McDoona had already arrived wearing plain black clothes, and a light leather jacket that presumably hid his equipment. He sat patiently chewing a straw like someone who'd quit smoking years ago but never got out of the habit of having something to chew on.

    Garrat showed up in full delta night gear.   He hands Shadow three ...well they look like wrist bracers with data screens. "These are the ....Keys if you will to three maxed out hover bikes.  Missy says you will have to find your own standard issue pulse rifles for two of them, and something about the tutorial and instruction manual being on the bracers."

  Hack, and the Board  Complete  with  the High Chairman and LA-DS, enter.

  Beth  steps in with Orria,  and    they  move to the    Middle of the 'tower' , where the   Dusters  where  questioned , not long before.
 Two Banks of   screen had  been set up according to  Beth's  specs..  Orria  and Beth would Man one... the   exact same  set up would be  for Sam to man. while  Beth  hopped  between  both...with Beth's   set up being   the  'command', but allowing Sam's to do  all hers  could do.

  HAck  turned to the  drink stands  that  CU-DL had brought  down for  coffee and tea..or  could  drinks and water.We have  time   Yet.... we'll give  the others  a chance  to get here... Admiral Hennings is  setting up the Holomap, ,according to the Bura  map s  Cu-DL has for us..

Zob showed up with his gear and found a corner out of the way as he waited for things to get started, he had his sniper rifle with him this time, "Evening..." he said with a small wave as he took a bottle of water for himself.

 Sam walks into the room wearing her duty uniform, heads over to the middle of the tower as well, she smiles and nods to Beth and Orria. She will look at the setup and smile and then she will check everything out and see what she can and can't do. Once she has checked everything and knows what it does she will stand next too Beth waiting for everything to start.

 Sam will then see Zob, she has full control over herself, she will look at him and smile.

  the  prison, as it  were, was  built with   thinck rok and   well palced stone floors.

 none of the cells were occupied. and  there  were  12  Burian SEC stationed  around the   area. none were below the rank of LT.

 Hemsly and Brooks  dropped in, all in black envior suit s and light ...blacken boarding aromor

 Shoey, Supe, Hodden and Tucke r came  in, followed by  Robbins  and Hawkes

 Shoey Grinned,..Simms  woulda been here?.. but  4 or  5 Burian LAdies   have him trapped in  one of the Inns..., we  may have  to  resuce  him before the night's over..

 Two Burians  Steeped  In..One a Female  Green Angel LT, One  a  Native SGT. Admiral Hack greeted  both of them with a HAndshake, ..People?   This  is  LT Ni-Ji and her  SGT, Bloss.. he is  an archer. Theu will be part of the Burian  unit  coming aboard the  Hermes when we cast off.

Roy arrived, Larry at his side.  Roy was in what was, apparently, becoming the Delta Night uniform...envirosuit and light armor, in a indistinct swirl of dark greens and black, all non-reflective...with a large gear bag.  He grinned at Shadow...

"I keep getting frustrated with trying to second-guess what I'm going to need for a Delta Night, and having something useful left behind on the Hermes...so I've got damn near everything."  He set the bag down, with a few muffled clinks and clunks...but it was apparent the bag was deceptively heavy, and long enough to carry rifles, even possibly a couple of the Barretts with the barrels removed.

"No wishing I had a sniper rifle handy, or had opted for my Kalashnikov instead of a sniper rifle...never would have tried it if we weren't staying at the palace, too many chances for someone who doesn't need to know to find out just how much hardware I was traveling with."

  Shadow   walked in, he  and Shade  with Dusk and Lilit  bwehind  them.. the latter   were dressed in duty uniform,  Shadow and Shade  had    dark enviro suits,  they both only had  chest armor  on, light  boarding  , and black

 Shadow   saw the other s  and     walked over to   Roy,..Damn good  book?, Right up our alley... look at the  quote on page 19....

 Hack  frowned  as he watched  Shadow....you were reading?

 why  is everyone  saying hat, like its  something new?.. I read..Magazine..books...papers...

 people chuckle.

   Macon Come in  with   McFust and  the two mLTs..are we  ready Admiral?

 Hack nodded... for the most part, this is your  show.. you will be showing the   Burians and Sarah  who to run an op while we are here... Beth is goign to work screens  along with LT Robertson...with help from her..um...orderly... I will give you this  warning... I will step in  if i feel the mission is  handled   right..is that understood... this is about  finsihing what we started..not egos...

Roy looked at the quote, a hint of a scowl creeping onto his face.  "Definitely thought-provoking material.  Let me know if you want to talk about it, I think I might have some insights that could be enlightening."

He looked at Macon with an expression that said he wasn't expecting much from the man.  "So, what are we looking at?"

Henry and Mila showed up.

Henry had his armour on and was carrying a shotgun, Mila had her harness.

 Maria,  Nagy  and  Robbins  entered, they were dressed  for night ops  Maria   said,..there are  only a few  more I see making thier  way here...

 Flores    walks in, dressing  in Black as well, she  has  an Aqra Bow on he r back that she  had   painted  with   streaks of  black....I'm here  for   driving and   Evac if needed..can do some over  watch  too

 McFust seemed overly  shocked to see Flores  , she looked at  Macon who just  shook his ehad as he  watched  Hennings  set up the  3-dhollow map.

Melia slipped into the room in her gear ready mostly stripped down to be less bulky, for speed and optimized for a more quiet mission. She slides into a seat next to Zob, fiddling with the sights on her carbine. She nudges him a bit, "hey you. How did Shadow's thing go?" she asks softly, hoping he'd seen her late text and didn't think she'd been snubbing him.

Orria had run over and hugged Melia, before darting off with all that youthful energy back to the comm center. She excitedly set to work putting the skills she practiced the night before to use.

Sarah slips into the room with the board finding space nearby, she fully realizes if prior to the Delta fleet's return was a crawl phase, then now was the walk phase, and when the fleet left they needed to be ready to run.

She watch Macon and the others get set, she also adds her own warning. "I am not inexperienced with these ops myself and will know if you are pulling a fast one on me. I just need to see it run from a command perspective."

She waves SGT MAJ McDoona over, "This is SGT MAJ McDoona, my SEC chief and to be the Burian fleets head of the lights out from an operational standpoint. He'll be working with you directly on behalf of the Burian fleet."

McDoona maintained an easy smile that somehow missed his eyes, like many well seasoned NCOs. He nods slightly to the assorted brass, "Aye gentlemen, I'm lookin forward ta workin witch ya." He says easily.

In reply to Melia Kristensen (msg # 15):

Zob looked over when Melia nudged him he smiled a bit, "It was interesting to say the least went to visit a few memorable sites" he did indeed get her message and held no ill against her for it.

 Sam sees Sarah walk in she will head over to her salute and say, Captain I have looked over Beth's setup it is very good and I will be able to reproduce it when we have a Burian Night Ma'am.

 Sam was a little nervous but she knew she would do well she has worked hard to get to this level, but she has learned so much from Beth.

In the palace hall the moved.  Stopped only once and nearly refused entry.  An officer aboard the Hermes vouched for them, before they were going to employ more aggressive tactic leaving the guard tied up in shrubs and sporting several bruises.  Jug noticed several officers of note go in one room.  Quietly she told her squad to stay and wait, Bog would go with her into the room.  Entering quietly and stealthfully the noticed Hack and others.  This was where they needed to be.  If only to make them notice they were there and ready she moved to be near Hack and in her best try a salute "Gavans are ready Admiral"

Karl walked in, dressed in casual attire, not dressed to get into the action but dressed down enough to be inconspicuous, either just another troop on shoreleave or maybe even a civilian.  "I'm just here for air support," he quipped, giving a wave to those around the room he recognized.

  Shadow looked at the   'keys' Garrat game him, he  held them up for the others to see  and placed them on  small table  near Beth where she had her Coffee and  smaller  Vidboards.we'll see how  debrief  shakes out.. those  who  can use them best,  will use them.

 Admiral HAck smiled  as he Saluted   Jug, welcome Jug..this is were you learn if you can take part in these types of  missions... I have little  doubt you can be  quiet enough?... but... can you maintain   discipline ? We know you can  fight...many ways to  fight..this is more quiet...more  deadly, for both sides.

 Hennings   looked up  as KArl  came in.always need  wheelmen... at the start  or  at the end.....

 Shadow snorts   as he watches the Map come  to life,sometimes in the middle.

 Lizzy followed Karl in she was dressed sexy casual, and stood by Karl and said,I can drive or do air support whatever you need, or a sexy distraction if needed.

Harry would enter the room with a definite swagger to her step, looking every bit the street thug that she was in her black jeans and red vest top that showed off her sleeve of tattoos,and with a cocky smile on her black daubed lips "hi boys, can I play?" she asked with a quiet chuckle as she took a seat and waited for the briefing to begin. With the type of operation they wanted to run very much determining whether or not she would be getting involved as she had no desire to assault someones private bunker.

With the arrival of Lizzy and Karl, Harry would chuckle at her friends comment before replying "Maris, you're always a sexy distraction" she said with a saucy wink as she leaned back in her chair so as to place a pair of booted feet on the edge of the table as she relaxed into her old persona. If Harry had her way someone was going to get seriously messed up tonight and she was already looking forward to it.

 When Harry walks in looking like quite the rough and tough gal, Lizzy got so turned on and had to take a few deep breaths. After Harry makes her comment Lizzy chuckles and says," Well thank you Lynch, you look ready for a fun time." Lizzy smiles and turns to Karl and says softly," Am I always a sexy distraction Captain?"

Teela came in dressed all in black and carrying a full loadout. "You want me on a rifle tonight or going in, LC?

Zob spoke up, "I would prefer to be on a rifle tonight if at all possible, but i can adjust as needed" He liked to be in the thick of it but he had his heavy armor back then and that was torched beyond repair in the last battle.

Teela nodded. "Only thing is I can be more mobile and change shooting positions more rapidly but I'm good wherever the LC and mission parameters need me to be."

"Evening everyone," Mortica said as she walked in wearing a matte grey-green set of medium armour with her sidearm, knives, rifle and grenades. Extra magazines were in pouches on her belt and the tactical harness her armour sported.

   Shadow  pointed to Macon   as  he began to  lay things out

 Macon  walks around the  3 d Hollow map.. he  sneers  at   Shadow,pay attention... I don't want to go over this twice  for  slow learners...

 Shadow  Just stared  at him with his    arms  crossed, no smile..nothing...

 Shoey looked at Roy   , then back to  the Colonel.

A... ..4 areas  of   Attack... Teh first his here... outside the  Capitol  by some  10 miles or so?.. we believe there  are renegades  there.. we  need them  captured or wiped out, and  any intel they have siezed.  any   equipment  would be nice to have too..augment the Burian troops.. we're  thinging the animals  can go there, sicne you'll be going through the forest.. Volunteers, or the SM can chose  peopel to go with them...

B...South MAnison.. it is pretty  wlee  protected..Guards..  mostly   hired guns   EDT...The EDT has thier HQ there..and they  don't like what we  just  did here...

Macon  continued. ..they been having heave  COM traffic.. i assume    by OmniCOM..doesn't  do them any good  while the   fleet has a curtain of steel out there...but  we you people leave, they'll send  in extraction forces... we  want to   make sure there is no one left to extract.... Virg Ollis is the   hincho there.. be nice to catch him...bottom line is not to let him escape....

C....East  wharehouse.  4 ships left there before our   attack.. one was seized  by  the  Tyr...it  contained  food  stuffs  and   Med Tech supplies... no manifest... no bill of lading .. we assume it was goign to an outpost..or  some ships out tehre  some where... we  need it captured...  The High chairman will put   people in charge there, and they will work  with Miss Emmie  as  transports  for Bura  to   strengthen  thier mercantile    powers... again?.. you'll have to do alot of wet works there...

D... Last!... and  i do mean LAst... the north tower... its one of the oldest building on Bura..some  say the capitol was  build  around it... there are  2  Burian power brokers there.. and they have   bought into  the  EDT..with promises of  controlling part of the   planet ... we want this hit last, because   they have  personal  shuttles   there ..anyone   we miss  will  go there  escape  and  we  can wrap them  up  at the end.

 Shadow  looked at   Hack.why don't  we attack that  as well?.... they won't have anywhere to  run?.. why wait until last?

  Macon gave  Hack  the look a teach  gives a dull  student...they would  scatter  into  Bura.. and  would have to  be  hunted down...instead.. we give them  one place to run  to, and hope to catch them  before the shuttles  leave

CU-DL looked   confused,...but we burians?.. we are the  best hunters in  The Black...

 Macon straighten his tunic,..Please?  High Chairman... watch..and learn.

Zob spoke up, "Ill take the South Mansion" he had his gear ready to go knowing all odds though stealth would only work for a little bit then shit would hit the fan.

Jug listened, nodded to Bog as if in a silent language.  Her eyes carefully darted to each.  She listened to all.  Then looked to Hack and the one called Shadow "We have choice?  Will respect what you say.  We attack south mansion as well.  Listening to one called Shadow...and you not know what we can do we attack last building alone or keep bad men getting in.  You chase to trap, we trap" she points to herself and Bog.  "They see us, they not think we threat...then we be last threat they see"

  Roy  listens  as  folsk decided  what Op they wanted to   take. Roy got a  COM Text from Jax. ((SGT MAJ...  I wanted to volunteer  for tonight... But Roll seems  to need  some help right now.... Me  and Sneak will hang with him and Ensign rutledge ..if you need  help. COM me...Jax ))

 Shadow   was waiting to see where   everyone wanted to go..Then looked at  Roy,I'm thinking of  the East warehouse.. should be  enough folks  for  me  to kill there..right? and its  closer to the Tower, for when that time  comes.

 Hack  looked at the 'drivers'..Fro Doc  Henry and those goign  with him.. we  want  a shutle  or  two, to land  close... every one else should be able  to   take one shuttle..

 Flores   Points to Shadow,..I'll drive him, and   anyone who is going with him..

 Macon  nodded , seemingly happy he had Shadow  'under control"

Zob was shuffling through some gear getting things in order, "What other information do we have about the southern mansion, do we have a rough estimate of numbers or are we going in blind?" the more information he could gather the better.

 Macon looked at Zob, there was  some  distaste in that look...not sure?.. Mercs  and EDT... I'd  say maybe  20-50?  ahrd  to tell, and we  don't know if they recruited  any Burians.

 CU-DL  spoke,..my last trip to the capitol...i saw many  of the  'Dusters'  as  you call them there.. they seem to like the big city

Zob gave a toothy grin back at Macon, "Wow and here i was hoping for a challenging fight... how disappointing" he said as he placed a smokewood cigar in his mouth but didn't light it up just yet placing his feet up on a unoccupied chair.

Roy chewed on his lip slightly as he scowled at the map, looking down for a moment at the comm message.  He paused to type a response...

I think we're good for now, but be on standby in a couple of hours.  Until then, have some fun.  I think I might need you later, no time to explain now.

His focus returned to the map.  "That makes sense," he said, looking at Shadow with an expression that indicated he didn't buy Macon's explanation for the delayed attack...but he had wheels turning in his mind.  For now, he was willing to at least sound like he was playing along.

"I think, actually, the Gava might be best used against the renegades...if they're set up for surveillance, they're going to be watching for larger targets, and going through the undergrowth is something the Gava do better than anybody I've ever seen.  Master Chief, pick three other shooters to provide support, you can set up at sniping range around the perimeter to pick off any targets that may be armed well enough to be a major threat to Jug and her personnel.  Dr. Christie, if you'll accompany them...Mila may be the only one around who could be even more stealthy than the Gava, she can do an advance scout and give you a heads-up if anything looks more serious than expected.  Captain Nilsson, I'd like you flying overwatch...you'll be in range of pretty much any of the targets and anything you can't hit at a moment's notice will be in range within a few seconds...that way, if we discover any nasty surprises, we've got one or two of our own to throw back."

He turned to Zob.  "Take Shoemaker with you...Supe, Hodden, round up a few others to fill out the roster.  Probably good for Garrat to accompany you, as well, he seems to favor the heavy approach.  Start off quiet...sniper fire on sentries to clear the way, but I want a light-show down there to convince them that's the main focus of the attack.  Hemsly, that's your specialty...maximum damage, as long as you keep it focused on their compound."

He looked at Shadow.  "We can take whoever's left to hit the East warehouse.  Quick and quiet, by-the-book commando raid."  He gave Shadow a quick wink, hidden from Macon's view.  "The two of us, with Larry, Shade, and anyone else that isn't taken up to fill out the other operations, should be able to handle the job in pretty short order."

He looked at the rest of the assembled group.  "As each team clears their target, we circle back and enclose the North Tower to catch anyone running for it."  He looked at Macon, his tone filling with the disgust seasoned soldiers had always had for administrative officers who thought they knew how things worked in the field.

"That is, if that's all acceptable to you, Colonel..."  There was just a slight hint of a drawl on the rank...just enough to create doubt as to how sincere his recognition was.

Henry nodded as he absorbed mission information. It would be good to work with some Gava.

  Captain Si and HAck Listened... they both had  knowing smiles  as they nodded to the others.

  Nina  and Grogo would go with Henry as well.

 Lyri  smiled   at  Doc Henry,  VAl smiled as well to know, that Lyri  would be   with them

  Mortica  and  Teela  can  come with is.. that will put a sniper in the top of the trees...with me and Mortica on the ground.

 she points   at a few of the others and tells them who to group with.

Teela nodded at Lyri. “Did you bring a Barret, Roy? I’ll take one for overwatch. I’ve developed a fondness for them.”

In reply to Zobaich (msg # 17):

Melia nods, adjusting her carbine again angling for that tenth of a degree better sight alignment. She moves with careful gentle but precise motions as she settles the sights to her liking. On the battle field writ large general sight alignment was alright. If she got called to fill a designated marksman role it'd likely be as a counter sniper with the moving element and in that case every little bit of accuracy she could eek out could make the difference. "I took Orria shopping, you can tell by the new outfit. She styles herself some sort of mix between Beth and Shade. Luckily the only fight was over her wanting purple hair, decided she needed to wait a few more years before we are ready to walk down that level of commitment." She said by way of casual comfortable small talk and sharing her day.

As the discussion shifted Melia piped up, "I'm good for near distance counter sniper, and assault. Running a lighter than standard medkit tonight so try not to get too many holes punched in your hides."

Then the briefing began, she waited as the others chimed in. In her mind Roy had the best of it. While the heavy attack could benefit from her assistance as a medic, she was well adept at the more covert knife in the night action as well. By joining Roy and Shadow's group she'd round it out to 4 plus Larry, who was a force of nature in his own right allowing for them to break out in pairs.

As she thought of it more however Lizzy and Harry weren't ground pounders like her and many of the others. They'd be better suited to the warehouse as well unless...  "Colonel, while your plan to let them concentrate at the tower last is sound I'd like to head up a small team perhaps of ENS Lynch and Maris to get close to the tower target and perhaps infiltrate so we have eyes on the targets as they come in.

When the time comes we can hit instantly with no delay, and given the opportunity we could try and hijack or sabotage the shuttles before they can get off the ground allowing us to ensure a capture or kill of all EDT that escape the other nets and try to ex-filtrate themselves."

She glances over to Hack and Shadow after addressing Macon.




Orria sits over near her comms set up poking at her large vidboard making and setting up digital connections, building false trails for the enemy to follow into contained sandboxes and other digital pit traps to make counter hacking more difficult for the EDT comms techs.

Sarah nods to Sam, "You'll do fine LT. This will be a lot like yesterday as far as volume of work, but much more involved in cameras, sensors, and other data collection systems. Rather than pure coordination."

Sarah watched as Macon started, though a careful observer would note the hint of a frown that twitched at the corners of her mouth as he began. She had little regard for Officers who couldn't maintain a sense of professional courtesy when working with those they had disagreements or bad blood with it got people needlessly killed.

As the briefing continued it only seemed to get worse...

As the teams started to divide up Sarah was slightly caught off guard by PO1 Kristensen's suggestion. "That is a sound plan adding the small group to the tower to observe, and disrupt quietly could give us an advantage." She says nodding. There was a lot at stake here and Sarah was growing increasingly to dislike the Colonel.

"I'll go witta team assaultin the Mansion, no need for two SGT MAJ's ona single target." SGT MAJ McDoona chimes in placing himself in the mission.

  Macon looked at  Melia sharply , then to Shadow,..one of yours?... questioning the  op leader?

 ..she is not one of mine, as a pilot... she is one of mione, as a Delta  Night  trooper and...

 HAck spoke up, rather  sternly,..my people are taught to bring up what they  question...they know  that  things  can  change in a heart beat, is that not so. LC?

 Shadow's  face  was  Blank  as he nodded,..indeed  , Admiral HAck. One can never tell what happens in a dark op

 Macon   says  with a dismissive  wave to Meila,Take  some people... but  don't  mount  a strike  until  order is gi8ven..Inderstood.

 Hack  also  pointed to  SGT MAJ  McDonna,Place him on the board....PO Meila? remember..not until the order is given.... his eyes  shift from her to Roy  and Shadow and BAck.

Zob nodded then looked to Garrat and sent him a text, (Should see if you know who will lend us a hand as backup) with that done he waited until the order was given to head out.

Melia nods curtly bristling slightly at Macon's attitude towards her suggestion, "Already done Admiral." she says indicating to whom she is speaking, as she begins shifting things about collapsing the stock of the carbine and folding it over so the carbine became just over two feet long rather than its standard of nearly 3ft. She looks over at Lizzy and Harry seeing what they decide to do.

 Lizzy smiled she only had her sidearm and knife, she wasn't truly expecting to be fighting but she was ready to do her part.
That sounds good to me I can definitely infiltrate and recon the area, and give Intel until we are given the word. Count me in Melia. Lizzy knew she wasn't a great fighter without her fighter but she,was a very good shot and she did have the looks of a party girl and not a commando. She smiled at that.

Roy nodded at Teela's question.  "There's a Barrett and thirty rounds, in magazines.  I shouldn't need it."

He gave a slight grin at Melia's suggestion that someone at least keep an eye on the tower...and gave a simple nod to Hack when the Admiral looked his way, making a mental note that the Admiral didn't stipulate from whom the order should be given...

An idea occurred to him, and he rattled off another quick message with his comm unit, glancing up as he keyed in the message to keep track of who was deciding to go where.

Teela nodded and walked over to Roy’s bag but didn’t open it before looking at him and getting his permission.

Karl nodded at Spencer's suggestion that he flying what was, effectively, air cover for the whole mission.  It wasn't time on the ground, which was what he'd been expecting, but he agreed with the option of having air support on stand-by...and it made better sense to have his single plane in the air than to have a squadron of fighters screaming around overhead.

"Can do, Sergeant Major.  Heavy fire support, at your service..."  He gave a mock-formal bow, a toothy grin lighting up his face, as he looked around to meet the eyes of the apparent leaders of the various attack elements that were to be in action.

Jug listened to more of the Hermes talk.  the one they called 'sergent major' spoke of the rebels in the cave.  How the Gavans might be more better at getting into there than the others.  He spoke of Gavan sneakiness.  She was proud of that fact   She had said what she thought, even though they may not have fully understood her.  She listened as 'Doc' (as she liked to call him, since it was simple to say) said he was going to the cave as well.  That point Jug felt she could not lose.  she looked at Hack "They want us to attack cave...we attack cave." she said proudly.

Zob spoke up, "Speaking of heavy fire support, what about the mechs?" he said tossing the idea to Roy and Hack.

Melia nodded along, "for my smaller group we wouldn't need a shuttle or even a van something smaller could allow us to stash our vehicle somewhere in a hidden location and free up resources for the other targets."

Shadow pointes to Beth's  table,..three bike  keys there...   Roy's  group is going in on shuttle... so is  Zob  and  Henry's

 Lizzy smiled and added,"Sirs I have my own hover bike I got fired my birthday, I can use that to get to the Tower and then hide the bike. She smiles towards Garret and Teela.

Roy looked at Macon.  "A good Lights Out op takes advantage of every possible opportunity...doesn't rest on slavishly following a plan built around minimal intel on the targets.  Flexibility, Colonel...Adjust, Adapt, and Overcome.  Any soldier who's spent time in actual combat learns that.  You've given us our objectives...be smart enough to stay out of the way while we nail down how to achieve them."

He looked back at Shadow.  "Looks like our group has the shortest flight to their target, maybe we should detour to drop the Captain at the airfield so he can grab his bird."  He gave a tight-lipped grin, not adding any comment about other advantages a detour might offer...

 Lizzy smiled when Harry said she would join them. Then she said to Melia," Yeah I just got it drove it twice so far it is pretty easy, I will give you the basics before we leave." Lizzy will then look at Harry and say," Now we will get to work together Harry, I seduce them you knock them off." She chuckles a little as she keeps smiling. She wasn't sure if that was allowed, so she will keep quiet unless she gets a question.

 Lizzy then will think to herself we know nothing about this Tower how do we get in, Lizzy will then look at the Colonel and say," Sir what do we know about this Tower, what type of security, defenses, I mean you call it the Tower what happens inside the Tower, is it a club, a hotel, what are we heading into Sir? Do we have any intel on the Tower or is that what we will be doing Sir? I am asking Sir because depends on what is actually in the Tower will depend on how we get in."

 This was Lizzy's first Delta Night and she didn't think she would do more than be a driver but she was going to do intel and help with the Tower.

 Sam watched Beth and then followed the same sequence as she turned on her screens and got ready to guide this Delta Night. Sam was excited and a little nervous but after the combat yesterday she felt good and very confident, plus Howe gave her such a boost today and she felt awesome and ready to kick some ass. " Thank you for everything Beth you have been great and I will learn even more tonight."

 After Beth spoke Sam would smile as her screens came alive and she would say," The Burians and the New Burian Fleet will see how Delta Night works Colonel." Sam didn't care if the idiot Colonel didn't like what she said, she didn't work for him she worked for Captain Mckeon.

 Up in the  'war room' Macon walked  back and  forth,..Shadow has  always been cocky.... does he thing the EDT and those Mercs  are just gonna lie  down...

 Captain Si  smiled,..these people..and its not even all of them....have dealt with  EDT...and worse... there is a reason  people whisper  about  'Delta Nights"....

 Hack smiled, looking to CA-DL...there is going to be  alot of damage, High Chairman. People  are goign to die... those high rollers in the towers? wel.. Creds can't  buy you one second more of life.

Roy grinned confidently as they headed for the shuttles, making sure Larry and Shade were with them.  He gave a nod to the Admiral and Captain Si after they read Shadow's found note, a sly grin creeping onto his face as he glanced at Macon and raised one eyebrow.  Before they boarded the shuttles, he handed off the Barrett and its ammo to Teela.  Anyone wat hing as he pulled the weapon out would notice there were still another two or three rifles in the bag, along with the appropriate magazines for them.

He settled into his seat on the shuttle.  "So, how do you want to play this with the warehouse?" he asked.  "Quick and quiet, hard and fast, or just enough to satisfy Macon's demand that the warehouse gets taken before the tower?"

  Shadow looked back at Roy, Larry  Shade  and Will, Flores    waved him out of the seat.

 Shadow  chuckled   as he  sat close to the  door of the  compartment so she could hear...The  whole  Idea is to get them going  East.. so well  hit the   western  dock side of the  warehouse..  gun down  some  folks.. see what we can do  to blow  some stuff  up... the 'soldiers  will stay, the others   will start to run when we hit them..  Karl took off  with Henry, his people and the Gava.  They were packed  pretty  tight as the shuttle made its  was  south west to the airfield...landing there..KArl  waved them off as Stoly took over and KArl  ran for his machine, warmed up, just inside the darken hanger.. Styoly peeled off to  the   Cave area.. with KArl slightly above.

Jug talked quietly to her squad, reminding them that stealth or being very quiet was needed.  Use bows and knives first.  no war chants.  Most of her squad was in awe of Henry, some remembering his treatment of them as actual being and not food, and giving them freedom and a sense of self worth.  For that alone they were and would be forever grateful to him..

Henry found himself a place on the shuttle in the midst of the Gava.

"Good to have you here," he said.

With an insolent look on her face she'd listen as Macon instructed them not to enter the tower until the cavalry arrived, which she personally thought to be a stupid idea but was unable to say so as Shadow told them to behave themselves and not to bother the nice colonel with any questions.

Following Shadow and the others down into the basement hangar the three of them would head over to where the bikes were "you girl's do realise that if we're planning to infiltrate that tower we'll probably have to go in without body armour or weapons larger than a pistol right?" she said in a low voice so that only the three of them could hear her. If Macon thought she was just going to sit outside and do nothing but watch he had another thing coming!

Once Lizzy had finished giving them a run through of how the bikes worked Harry would give a single nod of understanding before climbing onto her bike and saying "ok, well I say we head towards the tower, circle it once to see what we're dealing with and then find somewhere to plan our next move" Just because Macon refused to give them any actionable intel didn't mean they couldn't scope the place out themselves, and once they knew what they were dealing with they would know how to handle the situation accordingly.

    Harry, Melia  and Izzy,  head off    down the   road to the Capitol.. it was the  Burian  standard 10 miles.. and... Harry  wasn't doing too bad on the  Hover  bike. she has to slow  at times  to  prevent  from hitting   tree branch..  more then once they had to   pull to one side or the other   as APVs  zipped past down the road.

 They would reach the  west  side of the towers  in about   20 minutes.

Still wearing her summer dress, Isobel would enter the war room just as the teams started to leave with her heading over to where Admiral Hack and Colonel Macon were standing. Meanwhile Tali would quietly orbit the tiny reporter, with the drone under strict instructions not to film anything unless told to do so "So what is it you wanted me to see exactly?" Izzy asked the admiral with a curious look on her face "...only unless you want this to be very public I can't see how you intend for me to contribute"

  Macon looks shocked..  The Admiral is ready to respond  , until  Macon says,we  can't have a  Reporter...

 he looked at the two Burians , MAcon  and Izzy...The Delta Fleet  sends      footage in real time to the media ships, for  every action we  take part in.... Delta  Nights....  he bows his  head to the Chairmen,..Bura Nights... have a bit differant   aspect, that can costs lives if the wrong people learn too much  about the  process....

After the very rough landing Zob looked over to Hemsly, "Friend you're landing needs work... now lets move on out... keep quiet" he then moved out with them he had his rifle with him and his heavy pulse gun he found a suitable location hidden in the bushes and took aim through the scope to to do some recon and get a idea of numbers etc.

  Hemsly looked   a bit  bummed,..I said  i could fly it..not that i was a bleedin' Pilot!

Kira was coming up the rear to support Garrat and Zob's team she was moving slower, "Good to see you boys, so what kinda numbers we looking at here?" she then flipped a switch on her HUD and activated her night vision mode.

Jug smiled at Doc Henry.  points to herself "Jug.." then to the others "Bog, Uvulu, Goji, Manu, Adii, Plu, Liig" as a way of introductions.  While aboard the transport they made sure Doc Henry was comfortable and safe "We go in cave, be quiet, make cave safe for Hermes" she said proudly.  "When the craft landed they got out, not saying a word.  Jug had taught them to use, atleast crudely, hand signals.  Moving about they with their short stature and a bit of crouching became nearly invisible.

 Lizzy walked with Melia and Harry to the basement and they went to the hover bikes. Lizzy turns to Harry quietly and responds," Yeah I understand, I have my boot knife my pistol, two clips and my looks Harry. I am ready for whatever happens, plus Melia can stitch us back up right Melia?" When Harry says we should circle and meet after she said," Sounds good to me, take a look first then meet and discuss our options."

 Then Lizzy showed everyone the basics of the Hover Bikes and then they head out towards the Tower. It was fun and Harry was doing well, they had a 20 minute ride to the Tower. Lizzy would be last just in case someone had a problem with the Hover Bike.

 Sam smiles when Izzy walks in, she will listen to Macon and the Admiral and just smile more when the Admiral said she could stay, she really liked how the Admiral handled things. Sam had all her screens up and she started t make sure all comms where active and she could communicate with the troops. She will look at the screens to see which ops she is monitoring.

Despite having to slow down so as to avoid crashing into low hanging branches or passing APCs they would reach the city in a reasonably good time. Upon reaching the tower Harry would circle around it being sure to take note of the entrances and any security personnel and systems she could see not to mention the private shuttles their targets would be trying to escape in.

After completing her circuit of the tower Harry would find a spot to land where they would have line of site with the Tower's main entrance without it being obvious that they were checking out the joint. Turning off bikes engine she would remove her helmet and await the others to join her so that they could make a decision on what to do next.

 Lizzy follows Harry to the Tower, she will go a different direction and check for any Guards, soldiers, entrances, exits, parking areas, manholes, and look at the building itself. She will make several passes to make sure she got everything, and where they are storing their escape shuttles.

 Once she is done doing her casing of the Tower she will fins Harry and get near her and power down the bike,remove her helmet as well and wait for Melia to join them. She smiles at Harry as they wait.

 The   teams  were   all  about at thier   areas of engagement .

 Kira  was  with Zob's  group, as they fanned out  ..they  could see   two gates  facing  south... a  double  gate that lead to the road... and a small gate  to the    west ,that was used  for foot traffic  from the   forest and such.

 Hemsly looks  around,..our  mate  are lookin' fer  us   to  start making Noise....

Zob was taking aim down the scope he was hidden in the bushes, "Gonna take out as many as i can from a distance, once i start taking them down then engage hit them hard and fast now go and get into position"

After they got into place he scanned the area for hostile sharpshooters or heavy gunners first if he didn't see any he would take aim at the gate guards with his sniper and take the shot right in the head if he could thin the numbers before shit hit the fan it would tip odds in the groups favor.

"Right...hard, fast, and bloody..."  Roy dug into his bag, pulling out the Kalashnikov and four magazines, slapping the first one into place as Flores settled them on the ground.  After securing the other three on his vest, he followed Shadow out, gesturing for Shade and Larry to follow him.

"And now we wait for the signal," he muttered, grinning at the old cliche about knowing the sign when you saw it.  He looked to the south...it was far enough away that there was no way he'd see the compound Zob's team was assaulting...but explosions would light up the sky before the sound reached them...

She would return Lizzy's smile, her teeth appearing very bright beside the black lipstick she was wearing "so ladies, how was shore leave?" Harry asked with a mischievous glint in her eye she awaited the ideal moment for them to make their move "I got to have a swim in the lake, did some sunbathing so hopefully I won't look quite so much like a Vampic...oh and me and Will tried out the bath, I mean I nearly drowned at one point but it was so worth it" she said with a laugh, sparing the eastern side of the tower a quick glance before turning her attention back to the pair of redheads, curious to hear how they had spent their time off.

The colonel's reaction to her presence was pretty much what she had come to expect get this woman out of here! We can't have a reporter here, she's a security risk! because getting her friends and colleagues killed so that she could see her name at the top of an article was so how she got her kicks.

However before the colonel could get as far as having her escorted out of the room by a pair of burly marines, the Admiral would inform the Colonel that he had invited her before then going on to outline her role within the fleet "so you do want me to make the Delta nights public?" she asked arching a manicured eyebrow, just a little surprised over what the Admiral wanted her to do "you do realise that if I show any footage of what happens on one of these nights then any hope of you putting that particular genie back into it's bottle is gone, right?"  she said wanting to be sure the Admiral fully understood the repercussions of what he was asking of her.

After a brief interruption to their conversation in the form of Beth pulling a rather large gun on the colonel, Izzy would nod her head before responding "ok if that is what you want I can do that...of course I would also have the ability to spread misinformation and provide alibi's for certain people should the need arise" after all if they were having a "live" interview with her then they couldn't possibly have been performing a hit on the other side of town.

Henry thanked Stoly and got out.

With Gorgo flying overhead and the Gava scouting on foot, he kept Mila with him as they advanced on the cave.

Once it was reported that there were two men walking post outside, he asked the Gava to deal with them, coming in as backup with the shotgun.

He then intended to send Mila into the cave first to scout ahead, the rest of them could follow up to support her and deal with whatever's in there... something worth guarding, it would appear.

 Lizzy had a glow about her, Harry would know that glow meant amazing sex. Lizzy than said," I went swimming as well, but didn't keep my suit on for long, I wanted to go shopping in town but we lost track of time having sex on the beach while the sun set, that was amazing. Yeah it was nice to get some sun, hey maybe us ladies can hit the clubs after we are done here, might need a night cap after this ladies."

 Lizzy would keep an eye on the entrance as well to see he was going in and out of the Tower.

Melia suppressed a urge to roll her eyes at Macon, she say little point in excluding entry into the building. Frequently there were service access points that could be used for staff on large towers. If they could get in that way they could discretely ensure any prey from the other strikes had no actual means of escape. On top of that they may have been able to get the drop on whatever spider sat at the middle of the tower and EDT web.

She snerked at Shadow telling her Lizzy and Harry to be good girls. "Got it Shadow, we'll try not to do any thing you'd do."

She spends a few moments fiddling with the hoverbike. Finding them close enough to motorcycles that she picks it up quickly. The cover capacity is nice, as she remembers bumping and jolting along destroyed Russian highways as she fled.

She nods to Harry, "Agreed, that's why I stick to the light vests for these ops. Not a whole lot of stopping power but better than nothing. Let's get away from that moron and  figure out our next move. If the plan was to observe from a distance I would've suggested a sniper team not an infil team."

She grins at Lizzy, "Yeah well that's not ideal but in a worst case... I recommend at least one pulse to go with the hard ammo. If things go tits up you'll appreciate that deeper clip of a pulse weapon."

She hops on the bike easily and takes off with the others, a grin on her face as the art and thrill of riding diverts her attention momentarily. The thought of a Hermes women's hover bike gang causes her to chuckle a little, then she decides there could be a mens chapter too. Refocusing she puts her mind back to the tasks at hand.

Macon comes over the comms, "Spire advance team 3 min from target." she replies, as she begins eyeing angles and approaches that keeps them from looking suspicious while giving them a good look at the target as well as possible places to stash the bikes.

Kira changed both of her hands into heavy pulse guns and waited on stand by to support the troops the moment they were ready to assault, "Ready to move on the signal" the enemy was not likely to expect a mech coming at them.

Jug understood both needed to be taken out at the same time and quietly.  motioning she sent 4 one way and 4 the other.  She would go with the ones on the right, bog the left.  Vanishing in the grasses and foliage they disappeared circling both.  She remembered some humans and races liked to put  things to take pictures up and watch the guards.  she looked to make sure if there were any (security cameras).  one  of each team would attack them from above while other 3 of each team took out the guards.  pounding on them at the last moment would prevent them screaming.  All three on her squad with her pounced on their target, Jug was actually 'launched up high as she used the back of Alii to becoming down on him.  at the same moment Bog was doing the same but using his dagger to take out that one Goji lifting him.  once down they would drag the guards into the grasses and cover.

   Hennings  Pulls  Izzy off to the side...Youa re goint to have to use your judgement on some things... somethings, Beth might just  stop yhou from  sending..or? wish  that you had not.

 he shrugs we had  some trouble with a  few crew  man int he past,who tried to use   Devices  and such  to By pass Beth... she doesn't like that. especially on The Hermes.

 Lyri , Mortica  and Teela    spread out   to train weapons on the opening  as the other   moved  ahead.

 Naga  was  covering  Mina   as  Gorgo  landed on  top of the   Cave opening.

  The  people at the Mansion,   started to settle in.. Zob fired  off  chewing Up a Guy near the   Double gates..

 Kira    can see    some head pop up on the MAnsion wall as   another  guard  is running from the western, single gate, to the  Double  west doors.

 Hemsly   is   fixing   up  some of his goodies.  Robbins  and  HAwkes   are   popping off  shots  at the  wall near the  double  gates .

 Hodden and Supe  went to opposite  ends  of the  group ..  firing  bursts of  Heavy weapons  at the wall

 Tucker stood  back with  ammo   with GArrat and  McDoona

Kira stepped forward and unleashed a hail of suppressing fire at the wall aiming to chew up as many targets as possible with both of her mech heavy pulse guns, "Tag him!" she said referencing the running guard.

Zob stayed calm and took a deep breath as he sighted in with his rifle on the running guard that was heading towards the double west doors and fired another round to try and bring him down, 'Come on poke your heads out...'

  Shade uses his  hand  to   touch off  some   crates  on  west side of the  warehouse .. the  flame s  growing  , adding to more Confusion...

 Ni-Ji followed   The LC's   lead, and   tosses  a grenade into  the    southernmost  warehouse  door.., and saves he rother one.. the  Explosion takes out a few more  'blood  hounds'  and  three  Dusters.

  The Guard  was  Cut  down   as he stopped   when heavy weapons  opened up from  two  ends.

 Kira's  weapons  have peopel  ducking behind the wall, with chunks of  stone   being thrown up into the air

Zob picked up the demon heavy pulse gun after holstering the sniper and looked to Supe, "Follow the mech in!" Zob then moved up to the front he took a frag grenade from his belt and chucked it over the wall towards the guards ducked down behind the wall.

Kira kept up the pressure on the wall as she advanced closer to the gate, "Hemsly get that gate open!"

  The FAn was on, and the offal was  heading towards it.

  Macon watched    he  saw  the   weapons go off at the Manison..  the Gava  swarming the  guards  at the Cave

  Then the Warehose  being attacked... MAcon was smiling, Until Shadow  gave  orders   for the Ladies  to move.

   MAcon's Mouth opened  as he looked  at HAck.. he ehard  Flores saying about vehicles  heading  east.. and   Shadow's  snide  comment..

  Macon looked  at   Hack  , pointed to  the   two screens of   Sam and   Beth. he's..he's  disobeying Orders!

 HAck looked at General  BAle  who looked   a lot healthier with a  nice tan...There were no Orders  Given, Colonel. The plan has been Laid out... the general goals were set.. not  each unit  is in command of itself, unless they ask for orders.. under  our normal  process? They will  contact the SM or the LC....

Quietly chuckling to herself as Lizzy regaled them with her antics, with it sounding like she’d had a far more strenuous afternoon than she and Melia had, Harry would check over her machine pistol wondering whether she should take it with her or leave it locked in her bikes storage box. The same went with her flak vest, without it she just looked like a biker chick, but if the lead started to fly she would be glad she’d brought it.

It was Melia spoke of her evening that Harry would come to realise that Melia was literally the polar opposite to Lizzy, with the medic coming across as being rather shy and perhaps just a little naive ”that’s great Melia, I’m glad you’ve found someone nice” Harry responded with a friendly smile as she vaguely recalled seeing her with Zob as she had rushed passed them to her own room ”I wouldn’t object to a little clubbing should the opportunity arose either” she added, always happy for a chance to dance with Lizzy...and perhaps even Melia come to think of it.

Hearing what sounded like an explosion somewhere in the distance, Harry would watch as several of windows within the tower lit up before then getting the go ahead from Shadow ”Ok ladies, it’s time to party, I say we find a service entrance and head for the roof, that’s got to be the most likely place for those shuttles to be” she suggested, as she got up and started crossing the street towards the tower.

 Lizzy smiled as Melia told them what she and Orria did. " Yes Melia you need to tell us everything that has happened with you and Zob, can't wait to here it, I am glad you too and gotten together I could tell you had feelings for him."

 Lizzy was about to say more when she heard the explosion and they got the go to head in." Sounds great to me lets get in and head for those shuttles and shut them down." Lizzy will follow Harry across the street towards the tower as well.

 Hesmly  wa Holding his helmet on with his left hand, Running towards the  gate, his Greasegun  in his right  hand.. his demo bag  bouncing around.. Supe  Closed in On Kira's   left.

 he   saw  a light from the small door,People coming from the   west door!

  Hodden Knelt  down and  fired  at the  folks  at the   right hand side of the door   as   Hemsly  slide  into  the    door, bounced off the     gate, and  swung his bag around.. working  like  'the Beth' of Demo, he  set the C-10  with it   charges..  and     moved    to the right of the wall.....DOWN!

  He pressed the Button  the Blast Blew the  doors  inside, it acted    like  grapeshot  to  some of the guards   that were  charging up to the gates.

  One Tube shaped  dog-like creature  charged forward.. headed to   Hodden. with Hawke s Nad   robbins  trying to shoot it.

  As they Move towards  the  Tower.. they  see   a mix of  3 Dusters  and # EDT Balck uniformed  humanoids..One of the EDT is  a Sanri.

 with them  is one of the Tube-like   Dog-things.. it  was sniffing,, its  Maw  opening  as  it gave a High  whine-like sound.

    The guards  started to look out into the semi darknest, as the things  that acted as Street lights , we're that bright...

 The ladies  are  about  50 yards  from the Guards   as the Sanri    is  saying something  as  he looks into the darkness. there is  a  door to the Left or them... and  twin  Glass  doors  about  30 yards  to the right.

Once the gates were blown Kira moved in first both weapons firing at the guards coming from the west door and those charging towards the gate, "Watch out for the attack animals" she had the most fire power so she kept up the pressure on thinning the enemy forces.

Zob raised the demon heavy pulse gun and chuckled as he let out a barrage of rounds at the tube shaped dog that was coming at Hodden, "You picked the wrong side mutt" this was turning out to be more fun then he had anticipated.

As they drew nearer to the tower Harry would be able to make out a trio of mercenaries wearing dusters and at least two black clad EDT operatives, as well as some kind of guard dog that was scenting the air. In short it was far too many for them to take down quietly especially seeing as they were outnumbered and only she had thought to bring any silenced weapons with her.

Looking between the two redheads Harry would raise her finger to lips before pointing towards the single door to the left. It was as she was cautiously edging her way over to the door that Harry would carefully remove the frag grenade from her belt. If the guards so much as looked like they knew they were here she would pull the pin and roll it in amongst the middle of them, however until that happened she would try to get into the building without them even realising they were there.

Curious Jug moved to peek into the cave, she couched as she did so.  Since she was not all that tall her crouch put her level of sight about just over 2 ft up from the ground.  Watching others she noted above or below that 4 ft mark she would be less likely to be spotted or spotted first.

  Zob   tears the Tube-shaped  dog apart.. Hodden looked  creeped out  as she  Jumps over the  remains  to head  to the gate.

  There   are    Black Uniformed  people  running around, some Dusters  are laying in the  compound  from  being brought  down by the Blast, and the   Mech fire.

 there  are movements in the shadows  of more 'bloodhounds'

  Harry  can see the    Tube-dog wanted to   be let loose... the   guards   are talkign  and the  Sanri points  aroudn with his bottom two  hands,   while throwing his   top arms in the  air, he ehads to the Double Glass doors.

 Shadow  and Company   are  Running north.. Larry   staying  near, the slower running, Shade.  It is to be noted, Shade  isn't  slowing as much  as   Will, N--ji and Bloss...


  the  'warehouse' group , Flores  reports,sending this all  COMs.... First.. in the forest  there  is alot of  flashes of  gun fire....

 she  was  quiet a second,..there  is  activity on the roof?.. and there are more  lights   coming on  around the base of the tower...

 Lizzy will walk with Harry and she will notice Harry pointing to the single door to the left, she will go with Harry, and keep and eye on the guards and the tube-dog thing.  She would have her hand close to her sidearm as they walk towards the single left door, Lizzy will also keep and eye on Melia as well as Harry.

Roy moved as fast as caution would allow, not charging in blindly but trying to close distance to the warehouse before anyone might get a chance to react to their arrival, his weapon at the ready and watching for anyone to present a target.

Melia nods moving with Harry and Lizzy. She shakes her head at the grenade. If things go to shit a few rounds from a pulse weapon were still quieter than a grenade going off. To some degree she wishes she'd have taken the verian pulse pistol from Orria and let her carry something else. The verian weapons came essentially pre-suppressed. Each round no louder than a cough.

As they move through the darkness she pulls an angel steel throwing knife, and then bends scooping a fist sized piece of rock that'd worn loose from the road. It was just heavy enough to throw a good long distance without being so heavy as to limit her ability to throw it.

She taps both Lizzy and Harry pointing to the rock then quietly pantomiming throwing it over the guards and dog so it causes a noise opposite of where they were giving them time to slip in the door if necessary.

Ideally Melia would've preferred to lure the dusters away and then take them stealing their coats to give some sort of cover inside but with the 3 edt guards and the dog that wasn't an option. She eyes the light pool warily cautious of losing the element of surprise and her ability to move mostly undetected.

 The  Ladies  were moving a  bit more to teh east... closer to them, a mile or  so away they could see  a fire  buring  and  Gunshot s  going off.. as  well as the  forest to the   east , twinkling with the   weapons fire.

   the EDT   stood  firm except fore the Sanri who was now  entering the Double glass doors  , closer to the west, the Dusters  were talking with the  Tube-dog

 to the west, Shadow pointed in the  air to the north  west, where  a  Shuttle  with no lights hovered in the  air, Visible only by the   thruster flashes .

 The two the Sanri EDT  officer  enter  the gals   door,  Then a door near a stack of  refuse...

  we can go through the main doors... if  we run like hell they may think were people who want to escape... or we  could  head to that   door, has to lead to the kitchens?

 They  turned  around,  6 Dusters,   a pair of EDT  and  a handful of Burians  carrying metal cases and two 'Blood Hounds'    came into  view..  slowing down at first  until   Bloos  and Ni-JI  opened up on them.

 Shadow's  snari  went of  Blowing off one duster's leg..  Larry  pounced on a Blood  hound    Shredding it  as he tossed his  head back and forth..Wills  Greasegun  and   Ni-Ji  Burian hard ammo  rifle.. Bloos  sent  an  Arrow  into the ehad of a EDT woman.

 Shade bleeped like  a maniac    opening up with his grease gun,, cutting dwon two Burians  and  a Duster at the thighs

  Macon put  both hands on his head,..look at this!.. How is  he even an officer... he barely  touched his  target, and broke off  for the tower.. now?..he's telling  every one  where he is

 Hack  watched..  a slight  smile,well..  those  are folks we're  supposed to kill anyway..right?

 He looked at  Hack like he was crazy..././they are  caught  between those who  are trying to reach the tower.. and the troops in the tower!

   Morris   smiled,..or they  are  stuck in the tower... and kept away from the tower..by   the LC and the SM and  thier unit...

 ..but they'll send  more troops   after them from the tower!..they almost have to?

  Beth    never  took her  eyes of the two sets of screens...

In reply to Zob's  group (msg # 107):

Zob moved up to the gate and fired the heavy pulse gun into the groups of scattering enemies slowly making his way inside the compound he wanted to keep them scattered and confused, "We got more attack animals in the shadows watch yourself!"

Kira receives the warning and morphs her left hand into the napalm and sweeps into into the hostiles while her right continues firing heavy pulse, pushing further into the compound. Armor wasn't very effective against being cooked alive and a good counter for any charging attack animals.

Roy barely even thought, reacting automatically to Will's warning, spinning to look as his rifle came up, his eyes processing the scene instantly.  As the rifle stock settled against his shoulder, his thumb flicked the fire selection to full auto, and joined in as the others started shooting, swinging his rifle's muzzle from his right to left, spraying fire into the group at chest level.

As the muzzle cleared the group, he flipped the fire select to burst, swinging the weapon back to fire bursts into anyone (or anything) that was still up and moving.

"Hey, Captain...if you're not busy, we've got a shuttle in the air, between the warehouse and the tower...no lights, so he's up to no good..."  The words were terse, with a couple of pauses as he fired bursts.

Henry caught up to Mila and stroked her head.

"OK, we'd best go in. 2 people stay here on guard. Mila, scout ahead. Nina, how is Gorgo in tunnels? If he's happy, he may scout ahead to. Gavas, you're with me."

Henry, wondering at the back of his mind how come he'd ended up in charge, led the Gave into the cave as Mila ran ahead...

Warily moving forward Harry would rather anxiously watch as the dog thing tugged at it’s lead clearly eager to get loose and follow the scent it had no doubt caught. why did they have to have an attack dog with them! Harry silently lamented, trying her best to remain calm, her hand trembling ever so slightly as she returned the grenade to her belt in favour of one of her silenced pistols. She had found normal terrestrial dogs to be scary enough, these giant lizard things that the EDT seemed to favour were terrifying! In fact her nerves were that frayed that she jumped out of her skin when Melia placed her hand on her shoulder.

She would briefly glare at the other woman before watching the pantomime with the rock and nodding her head in agreement. With any luck they would take the bloody dog with them to investigate the noise!

 Lizzy followed the other two ladies, this wasn't her Forte but she would help as best as,she could.

 Lizzy nodded at Melia when she did her rock thing. Lizzy got ready for when she threw the rock. Lizzy would keep her eyes open and ready to move to the door when Melia throws the rock.

Melia took a slow silent deep breath took a careful wind up step and launched the rock with all her strength sending it sailing high over the guards and tube dogs head. Her hope was to get it out of sight past the guards. With luck it'd be loud and draw their attention away from the door they were attempting to enter.

  Flores  came  back on the COMs ..WHOA!..CAptin!..That shuttle is  me!!! don't  go shooting me  down!

        Larry and the LAst  Bloodhound faced off, but the  8 footlong , tube  shaped beast was  no match for Larry as  the larg slammed into  the  thing,, Biting its  head off,   , looking around at the last Burian who was   wounded,  both legs manged  from  Shade's  SMG.

 ..Shadow here... we  have between   12  and  20 peopel down..a mix  of  Dusters, EDT and Burian   Rich folks.. got  4 Metal  suitcases here.. and one wounded  Burian... If you can dig  up a pilot... we should have a 'clean up shuttle'.. I'll  Turn  a few of the COMs on from the dead  folks  for   , whomever to  vector in on..

 sort through the bodies  see if thier  are  weapons  we  can use...or  Derma Foam.. he added the last as he  pulled  a  can from the inside pocket of a Duster's   coat.

  Shade picked up the  suit cases  , put them  by the  wounded Burian as the   man watched in utter horror, As Larry crunched the  Blood hound  head. looking around  calmly , as if he  was eating from the bowl in  the  kitchen

 Shadow   sprayed  the   foam a bit   into   each leg,..you'll live long enough, not to  die here... after that...its up to you...

  At the Tower, the  rock  sailed  over the head  of   guards..  they let the   Tube-dog loose... it was  shaped a bit like a hotdog, but its  head opened  like some one sliced a hotdog in half.  revealing Teeth that were shorter then Larry's,,but  also had three  rows.    The    Hound  started towards the Girls  until the Duster  snapped at it, then it   truned to the  place the stone landed.

 The universe , like anywhere  eles has   good  and bad  luck. whether the fellow  who was out there  was a  mugger....or  out for a walk and saw the guards, or whatever... a Burian saw the beast  charging   towards   where the rock landed... the   stranger  was about 10 yards  to the west of it..

 He panicked and  ran, The  tune  dog  turned like a   Sanke  and   ran the  fellow  down in a second.. the   Jaws      Closed   around the   Man's thighs  as he screamed in  pain and horror.. The Duster  were laughing  as the  strolled over to  what thier beastie's  handy work..

  the head and body would undulate  as it   sucked the blood from the   scream man... the screams    got weaker..   and settled into a low moan  as the  Hound then began to  eat...the moans  soon stopped....

 right now  the  lone EDY   gaurs still stood   where they were, smoking a  Burian  smoke stick... lookign away from the  scene of the Tube dog's  feast.

  Nagy says,..I'll stay...  Mortica  and I. We should be able to handle  and  Nosey folks ,   Stoly should be  bringing the  shuttle up soon.

  Rolfe, Brooks , Lyri  followed the   others..   Gorgo   would     fly  and ctach on the side of   the  Tunnel, until the group  caught up... Mila  walked   with Jug and her  #2 ... the other  GAva  stayed in front

 In the Cave were some supplies, Mostly  food packs in ESN  crates... as well as  Med Tech supplies, a few crates of Derma foam and Derma plast as well as  pain killers  and wraps.

 Jug  and Mila  can see, a brand new  Metal door about  100 yards or  so  down the tunnel.

Melia didn't have time for the poor unexpected intruder and anything she did to ease the suffering would only compromise them. The fact that she'd caused them to be targeted was something she pushed out of her mind, unfortunately war sometimes was unexpected and unnecessary casualties. In the brief moments of distraction as the tube dog and the guards were attention was occupied, she slipped up to the door attempting to silently pop it open so Harry and Lizzy could slip inside the tower with her.

 Lizzy would quickly follow Melia to the door, she felt a little sorry for the poor guy but hey war sucks. In the wrong place type thing but it gave them the distraction they needed. Lizzy with her sidearm drawn stands next to the door waiting for Melia to get it open.

  The   assault  team was  entering the  the main   gate, Fire  was   casuing  the  enemy problems.. a  Blood hound  , mor eor less   popped. when the   flames   attacjed to it  reached a certain point.. Hoden and   Supe    each stepped inside the  doors on opposite sides    opening up  with thier  weapons..

 Tucker  stay close  to Sup   who had  just   fed the last belt of  50 cal  into  his   Machine gun... Hodden was using a heavy Pulse.

 Shoey, Robbins  and   Hawles  used     well aimed bursts, not only to save ammo, but to make sure  their  shot   coundtd,   Hemlsy  tossed a  'Bisket' on the    left  wall   triggering it  as soon as it hit, blowing  a   bit of the   top  wall outward, and shredding three Burians who were  running down the  wall.

    Macon watched   the screens . Beth'[s screens  were only slightly differant then Sam's , as  Beth side had the Morning star  on  a screen.

    Admiral HAck asked,... we have any pilots...

  ..Only one   in the place..every one else   is  scattered.

  Tell the Pilto we need  a pick up, and to use  one of the Burian  shuttles in the hanger  below us...and..tell the pilot  to  grab a couple  troopers,  to help witht eh prisoners and goodies  they pick up.

  Beth  went to the COMs,...LT Howe.. please   grab  a couple  troopers... report to the  Hanger  BAy below the tower, you  just volunteered   for Delta Night  Pick up..

 MAcon looks  at  HAck, he seems  dumbfounded,..Just like that?.. you pick a pilto off the street  and say, 'hey..take part in a secrect mission'

 There was a deep chuckle  as HAck fixed  two  Cups of  coffee handing   one each to Beth and SAm, then returning   with a can of soda  for Orria.

  I'll be the  First to admit, I have signed on  some....less-the-helpful...people since  we launched from EArth.. but there  are those  I would trust  with my life... LT  Howe is one of them...

  MAcon points  to  Sam's  screens as   Captain Si hands  a cup of Coffee she fixed  for  The Admiral , to him...the forest to teh east... what the  9 hells is happening...

 Captain Si cleared her  throat... to the North.... Nivaians  with  LArgs and worts   Naragran and  Gava have the  city bounded  on the  north  , down the east, to the South... Even as we  speak...  SAnri and Occui   are  movign  north   towards the Mansion....and?  none of   the quarry can escape a net like that....

 ..but the tower.. once they  get there.. and escape...

 Hennings   chuckles,..The SM... the LAdies... they are   at the towers  now...one group of  escapees is already dead.... only the gods know  what is happening in the  forest to the  east...

 General BAle looks at the  two ChairLadies,what have you learned , thus far....

 CU-DL  loked at the screens,..it is very..complicated..yet there is  still room for the enemy to escape, if the tower people  fail...

LA-DS looked at Macon,how  is it, that you were to   teach us?... You did not  account  for any of the escapes... and   by laying out  your mission, you would  ...all but..allowed  them to reach the  Tower, unhindered?

 McFust  Spoke up,..The good Colonel had  help setting up  his  OP...but it  did not  come from  the ESN or APF

Watching as the giant dog thing came charging towards them, Harry's life would seemingly flash before her eyes as she raised what now felt to be a pitifully under powered 9mm pistol and tried to take aim. However before the creature managed to take more than a few bounding steps towards them it's handler's voice would cause it to change direction and attack some hapless passerby.

Ignoring the sound of the screaming coming from out of the darkness she would quickly follow Melia and Lizzy over to the door, aiming her pistol at the remaining EDT troopers. As soon Melia had got the door open and both she and Lizzy were inside Harry would quickly follow, closing the door behind them.

Sarah pivots sharply, fixing McFust with a penetrating gaze. "Go on, and speak directly. The time for careful choice of words is past." She looks over at Macon as well, "Unless you plan to clarify and explain thoroughly for yourself..."

Jug, noticing the door carefully approached.  Only Docss companion noticed.  Watching for traps she would get near.  Close to a cracked joint she listened at first.

   McFust  gave a   grim, tightlipped smile  to MAcon...he will tell yuou.... if not  now.. when Shadow  comes back....

 Macon   truned on McFust who stood  near  Morris.. Morris  inclinded his   head   as if in , gentlemanly challenge.

 ..YOU BITCH!... what did you  do... sleep  with Shadow, and  he  won you over so your  turned  coat?

 oh?  I tried  to  sleep with Shadow... he wasn't having any though..too 'focused' on what was  coming up..but the talk we had   while  we dacned, and seeing the  ESN   folks with the Burians ..made me see  what  The Admiral was  trying to do for The Black....

 Si  pointed to the Note,..that is your hand  writing?

 McFust nodded,..Shadow is  far smarter then most of his enemies  think

 The  two LTs  looked at Macon  in horror.....you..you said  he was the traitor..and you had to save the  ESN!

 Both Admirals   laughed,Macon?   By all the gods? how bad is it back on Earth!

  with the Two Admiral  laughing,  Hack  pointed  at McFust...Take over  for the god  colonel, Captain Morris.. and Captain Si will restrain  Colonel Macon...

 McFust  nodded  as she  stepped  near  Beth...The ware hosue was a trap of sorts.. according to the Colonel, assets  for the EDT, that were  ...um..'less viable ' where there... the  thoughts  were,  the Delta Night  peopel would take them out, the ones  who survived  and escaped   would be even more...  it is also Booby trapped, in hopes  of killing off a certain Lights out  agent and  any friends he brought along  with him..

 She  looked at Sarah and  the Board,..that's went  i became  wary... we have  punched a few tickets of big names , in the name of   'Lights Out"..but never our own agents... according to   The Good Colonel.. this was  in response  to the  missing  'Foreman' on Everest.

 ..the  south Manison has  high assets.. they were   presumed to  be able  to   head North, shoudl things  go 'badly' for them..The Cave..well.. that's   Dusters  and EDT  strong hold.. supplies troops....

 ..The tower.... if they are still there?   is the gem of Bura... for    REAL  , Lights  Out.. The sector EDT Commander... one, Lou Cammer..he has a hate  like no one, for Shadow.. he  has  his own Bounty on  ESN  people,  and  he  ruled this area  with an iron Fist.. they went well below  ground  after  the fleet devistated   the  Empire holding here. last time... they slowly  rose... gather  rich Burians  who wanted to  be   'elite'..and took over some of the  'lesser bases'

 Macon looked at Hack,..they  all knew you were going after the Moutnain..none thought you would attack the poles...

 sorry to   be such a Bother Macon ..but  you'll forgive  if  I take enjoyment  in every EDT death...

Karl's voice was a grim chuckle on the comms.  "Thanks for the heads-up, Flores.  Lots of pieces on the board, it's easy to lose track when none of them are showing colors.  I'm still watching the cave, though...they made it in without any trouble, just standing by in case there's more inside than we counted on."  As he orbited over the cave site, he could see fires marking most of the other sites...the tower was, as yet, still dark, in terms of combat...but he could see the lights that had been mentioned.

Sarah spared Macon her glare, "Beth or Sam, can we notify the tower team to be on the look out for Cammer, and to tell them not to worry about leaving bodies behind. McFust, is Cammer expected to be in the tower, and where can he be located?"

She glances at Macon, "Feel free to chime in with useful information, it might buy you the mercy of a less painful death. From what I understand the Delta lights out team has more than a few savants when it comes to inflicting and prolonging pain and I'm sure you'd wish to avoid a demonstration of their creative capabilities."

Turning her attention back to the screens. "Admiral we may want to utilize Captain Nilsson for an airstrike on that cave and pull back our forces there maintaining a perimeter while ordinance does the work for us saving us the trouble of tunnel fighting against garrison style defenses."

Roy grinned.  "At this point, does it really matter?  I think we can pretty certain anyone we run into is an EDT asset, at the very least, if not an active agent..."  He tossed his head slightly toward the door closest to his right.

"Start in there...maybe rig the other door so they can't open it, just to cut down on the number of people who can get out if they get around us."  Assuming the door opened out, like a normal fire-safe exit door would, it would be pretty simple to kick a wedge in under the door that would effectively seal the door shut...his kabar would do the job if nothing else was handy.  In the meantime, he swapped out the spent magazine in his rifle.

  Macon  looked at McFust,..Why?.. I was Director of Lights Out?

 McFust said  with a  shake of her head,..you were..MADE..directory..you didn't   work your  way up.... you were never on an  op?...

   Morris   gave him a  short  smile   as his Mustache  , then seemed to push the smile back down,..backed the  wrong  pony there.  Macon....

  Hack looked to Sarah,..may as well get your hands  dirty Sarah, go ahead,  Give the orders.. you'll be doing it on your  own  , soon enough.

 McFust shook her head,..She  won't be alone, If she'll have  us... the two LTs  nodded. then she adds, If   the Colonel  didn't lie to us.. Cammer   should be in the tower... either enar the top..or near the bottom... we know for a fact, they have a HAnger , like this tower  does, in thier basement... we  do not know where the    exits  are... I cam certain they  could try and land on the roof  as wel, as that is  where normal business traffic   comes  in.

 CA-DL  speaks up.....they would have   tunnels goign   west towards the Caves  we are attacking.. and South to  the Mansion...That was the old planning in days before I was  High Chairman..to protect those  who were in the  towers  from the Empire.

Sarah nodded to Hack, "Sam, relay the following messages.

Tunnel teams. I want you to fall back and establish a perimeter. You have 3 minutes to do so before an airstrike comes in danger close. Timing is crucial here try and draw them up so we can hit them hard.

Captain Nilsson in T-minus 3min I want you to hit that tunnel with whatever ordinance you have on hand. There will be friendlies danger close, but I want you to try and collapse the whole system. We can sort the rubble later. That will force survivors toward the tower.

Tower team, we have two possible locations in the tower for the head of EDT ops on Bura. Name is Cammer. There will either be shuttles in the basement or on the roof. If you're on the ground try basement first. Move quickly its likely you're gonna start getting survivors coming in through the tunnels under tower that connects it to the warehouse and mansion. If there's no shuttles down there stay quiet and get to the roof. Cammer is your primary objective, any bodies you leave behind are bonus at this point."

She watches the screens closely as her orders go out.

 Shadow  nodded  with a shrug, Right then,  we'll  Jam  up that garbage  door,  and  we'll go ahead    and ehad to those Glass   doors  the Sanri went in.

 They move  to the Doors,  Flore s  says into ALL COMs,..from where i'm at .. I see  Roy's team movign to the   western  most side of the tower, I lost sight of the Ladies, last seen on the  eastern  side..


 Shadow loos  at Roy,Cammer?  why does that name sound familar?

   The  enter  the  door, a  small . alcove of sorts  is there...Burian cloaks  and  Hats  are  on racks, there is another metal door   straight ahead ( to the west)  about  5 yards  away.

 Lyri  Whistle s to  Henry  and the others,.. everyone, fall  back...  toss  some grenades.. make alot  of  Noise  and head  back to the tree lien..... Stoly!... shy where you are!

  Nagy and Mortica    peel  back to offer  cover fire..

    Orria points  at  the  screen for the warehouse.  some   20 people  a few of them with more   metal cases are runnign or Limping to the   ware House...

 Macon watches   as he   says in a harsh whisper,NO!..you fools! the group enters  the  warehouse, despite the small fires around..thinks are  quiet for  2 Minutes or  sow, , then the screen lights  up in a white  Light    making Orria   jump back a bit, the same  screen flashes on Sam's   set.

   LT  Howe?  After you pick up the prisoner  and ghood    The SM  and LC  left you...   take a look at the  warehosue, see if you see any of those metal Cases...

 Aye  Sir... Already done.

 Beth  nods to Macon,..that trap worked  pretty good.. no one lived  through that

 Sam kept an eye on her screens and tracking where everyone was and their situation.

 When the discovery of Macon being a traitor to the ESN and APF Sam was pissed, she wanted to shoot his ass, but she was busy.

 Then Sarah asked her to send out messages she passed on the messages to each group as fast as she could.

 Sam will say, Captain should we inform everyone of the situation with Colonel Macon ma'am?

"Copy that, Captain, three minutes."  He let the comm go silent as he started adjusting flight plans to put him in a firing position at the appropriate time.

"Marking friendly assets in the targeting system, Captain.  And if we are willing to close distance and come around at low altitude, I should be able to plot a targeting solution that will put a howitzer round directly down the cave entrance."  The targeting display lit up with ESN-blue points of light marking the position of the Delta operatives below.

"In fact, Captain, the absence of hostile air assets means we could take up station and hover at the optimal firing position, giving sensors a clear scan down the tunnel."  The AI marked the position on the display.

Karl shrugged.  "Sounds like a plan to me...HE rounds in the howitzer, Ed, and have the minigun and cannon ready for point-defense action..."

As the troopers pulled back from the cave, the Morningstar came into a hovering position about two hundred meters from the cave mouth, at an elevation that allowed the howitzer to point straight down the tunnel.

"The instant you fire, Ed, I want full acceleration...an HE round at the back of that cave could turn it into a massive cannon barrel and I don't want to be in the path of anything that comes out of it..."  Even being a couple hundred meters off could be dangerously close if any debris in the tunnel was swept up in the blast...

"On station and ready to fire on your order, Captain..."

All that was left was to sit and sweat as personnel pulled out and scattered away from the entrance...

Zob pushed forward as he stepped over the broken remains of the dusters and EDT below him, "Fbeedo ibmpvrhlg mmnhi!" he shouted in a battle cry as he crushed a dying EDT's skull beneath his boot and fired upon any further as the group aimed to take the courtyard.

Supported by Supe and the other heavy gunners she kept torching the tube dog like creatures with her napalm and blowing huge chunks into the enemy formation with her heavy pulse that were still trying to form a defensive line against the assault as she pushed forward with the team deeper into the compound.

"I bloody hates dogs!" Harry quietly hissed as she fought to regain control of her breathing and slow her heart rate down. With any luck they wouldn't find any more of the bloody things now that they were inside the tower.

A quick glance would reveal that they were in some kind of cloak room with a single metal door in front of them. It was as Sarah was relaying her orders to them, with Harry quietly wondering what had happened to Macon, that she would help herself to ladies jacket and put it on. The dark blue garment nicely hiding both the flak vest with it's pink anarchy symbol and the collection of weaponry she currently had on her person "Any chance of a description of this Cammer chap you want offing? Only I can't see us getting the opportunity to make any introductions" she asked, as she cautiously approached the door and eased it open just enough so that she could check that the coast was clear before going any further.

  Within the mansion's  walls   Bodies  were   dropping and  confusion reigned   Tube-dogs  were running Loose.. and shots    were  flying all over..

 Tucker  gave  Supe  a fresh Belt from one of the  ammo canisters ,...

  Hemsly   pointed  to  one building   that was htree stories high, compared to the other  , one level  buildings...I wager , that's the one we  want to go see?

  McFust talked into the COMs,.. he's a  older white  Human  male..close  to  6 foot... he has  a scar on his left cheek he go  from a failed  assassination attempt  a few months ago... he does not like the  ESN..  any ESN assets he gets  , he considers  to be  inferior  to the  pure breed EDT. he has   light  grey hair.. and he is   ruthless.

When told that she would have to use her own judgement where it came to certain aspects of any Delta night footage she got along with the identities of certain members that took part, Izzy would simply nod her head "Understood sir, we'll come up with a short list of people who you'd like to be publicly known to be a part of this...Zob for certain, after all I can blur out faces and distort voices but nothing is going to hide the fact that he's a Demon" Izzy spoke deciding that it would also be a good idea if those taking part in the operations made some kind of effort as to hiding their identities, though that could be discussed at a later date.

For the most part Izzy would simply watch as the operation unfolded, taking note of things that would require editing, up until Macon's treachery was unveiled at which point she would give the officer in question a disdainful look "typical out of everyone there, I ended up dancing with the traitor...I'm so glad I didn't take it any further than that" she uttered in a disgusted voice before turning her attention back to the operations in progress.

"Roger that, Old guy with a scar" Harry responded as she fully opened the door and stepped into the empty corridor beyond "ok ladies, lets find a way down to the basement, once those shuttles have been neutralised we can go hunting for our mark" she said, searching for a clue as to which she should go in order to achieve her aim.

 Lizzy was in control and she was enjoying this, but she knew she could get killed so she had too stay alert and at the ready. " Sounds good Harry, we can always over charge the engines and blow up the whole hanger if that is an option, pretty easy to do." Lizzy will look for a sexy cover up, that went well with her black low cut and a few buttons undone blouse. She had sexy tight pants on as well.

 Once she found soemthing to make her fit in better she follows Harry to the Basement and the hanger.

Roy shrugged.  "Name's not ringing any bells at the moment...but I'm not exactly in quiet-introspection-mode."  He gave a wolfish grin and added, "If we're lucky, he's another one of Lady V's relatives..."

He stepped over to the door they wanted to wedge, pulling his kabar and sliding the point under the door.  He stepped back and kicked the butt of the grip, driving the knife into the gap until the knife grip was torquing the blade so hard that it froze in place, the tension on the blade placing massive friction on the door.   "That's not opening anytime soon," he commented with satisfaction.  The blade would snap before anyone could force the door open from inside...and unless it was a very wide hallway on the other side of the door, anyone inside would be hard-pressed to create enough force against the door to break the blade.

"Let's go make some dead EDT guys," he quipped, with a humorless grin.

   Moving  From the  side  door to the Glass door. where are Shade  and LArry?

  The three Dusters  and Their  Blood hound Looked  at  Roy , shadow, Will  NiJi and Bloss.

 Alright  folks..lay down those  weapons, or  we'll have to let our  dog loose  on you..

 Shadow  started to laugh  and patted  Roy on the shoudler, he points at the  Dusters  and  thier Blood hound...you call that a Dog?... that's  not a Dog!....  he points..That's  a Dog....

 they Turned and saw Shade  and Larry.. before they  could say anything   Shade  Bleeped and  Larry rushed   for ward, tearing off the leftmost man's leg  and  Tearing into the blood hound.....Shade Opened  up on the other   two Dusters...

 The bloodhound didn't  last long, its   smooth skined  body, no matched  for the furry scaled LArg.

Melia also helped herself to jacket on the wall hiding her armament making it look like she was an off duty staff member once the armor and other weapons were hidden under the fabric. grabbing a third and tossing it to Lizzy. "Sounds like reinforcements are here. Let's give them the basement and head topside. If I was the spider in the middle of this nest I'd have my shuttle up there near my penthouse."

She quickly replied to Shadow, "Got it, Valkyries headed to the nest. Looking for a old bastard with a scar. " she says to indicate that the'd head to the top of the tower to cover both locations. As she peaks down the hall looking for either an express or service lift that'd either get them to the top floor that McFust had mentioned quicky (on the express elevator), or more covertly (on the service elevator)

Then noise errupted outside, "Let's stay mostly quiet they maybe expecting it to take time for Shadow to reach the top floor and I'll bet they aren't counting on us being her." She says gesturing to an express elevator, deciding to keep the light weight leather jacket figuring it'd add to her aesthetic on the hoverbike.



Orria shielded her eyes as her screen lit up bright white looking away for a moment, but then sets back to work once the screen recovers from the explosion.

Sarah shook her head, "not yet. I trust you and Beth to keep the enemy off our comms, but I want our people focused on the fight in front of them not the traitor back here. We'll fill them in when the op is complete or they return here. Also if the enemy does have a skilled comms tech who managed to elude all of the defenses I want them thinking we were 3 steps ahead of them from the start, not that their agent spilled after kick-off."

She watches the screens as the ladies disappear through the unmarked door, followed shortly by Shadow simply shooting his way through the obstacle.

 Lizzy takes the jacket and follows Harry and Melia out into the hallway," Lets head up then, we need to find a service elevator."  Lizzy will look for a sign of a service elevator as they make their way through the Tower.

Kira kept slaughtering the forces by the dozens as she moved to advance on the 3 story building with the crew, "Understood moving in" she kept sweeping the area in fire to keep the enemy out of cover and burn dogs as well as gunning down anything in sight that wasn't one of people with heavy pulse.

Sam will nod at Sarah and continue her work and monitor her screens, she will try and locate all their teams.

Roy shook his head as the scene was rapidly resolved by Larry and Shade.  "Really?  '...lay down your arms or we'll release our dog...'?!</blue>"  He gave a dry bark of a laugh.  "Pretty sure any one of us could have taken the dog with a weapon...not even necessarily a firearm.  Might not have been pretty, but..."  He shrugged.

"Nice work, Shade.  Thanks for covering our backs."  He looked around, for an elevator, stairs, or a ramp going down...  "Now...how to get down to their hangar...?"

Hearing someone call grenades Jug looked back "Stop"she said calm and quiet "Have door here...May be something" all into her comm unit.

    Lyri Snapped   down the   tunnel,..Pull back!... we have a  big gun coming in....Every  get to the Tree line!

 Grogo   flies out after  Nina.

    Shadow   uses  the    butt of his  Sanri to    Tap on the glass  doors....gonna guess, that  folks  are waiting for us to  come through these  doors

Will?... open  the   door and  I'll  throw a grenade in...Larry?.. after it  goes off.. run in and take out  any bad guys you can reach..

  there were  4  rifle lights  sweeping the  darkness and smoke on the inside... the crunch of  glass under boots  was getting closer..

   the     unit  formed  up firing  around in a semicircle .. behind them   the shuttle  exploded, in the distance..

 ..LT  Jukas here...L:T  Meki of the  Oucci  is  with me , we have   20   troops with us.. we  will reach   south wall in 5 minutes.. we have encountered  some  resistence..of Black uniformed  troops  and    humans  with  long brown  coats..

 They were   about   50 yards  from the   tall building a shuttle  took off  from behind the Mansion, heading towards the EAst

Henry called Mila and yelled at the Gava "Time to get out of here. Back to where we landed!"

He turned and ran back out of the tunnel.

Mila heard Her Human, and wagged her tail as she turned.

She tugged at Jug's sleeve, then turned and bounded after Her Human. If he thought it was time to leave she wasn't going to linger.

Roy shook his head...rifle lights were an amateur move.  Between the grenade blast and the rifle fire, the interior was smoky, which not only showed exactly where the lights were, it also diffused the light so much that anyone inside couldn't see much distance at all.  He pulled one of his grenades, standing back from the door, gauging the approach of the lights through the haze inside the building.  When they were gathered into a clump of sorts, he released the spoon, letting two of the five seconds of delay tick off before he threw the grenade right at the group and ducked aside from the doorway.  It was less surgical than shooting them...but it would get them down faster and give the impression of a larger attack force, which should draw more potential focus away from Melia's team.

Yet another blast went off, Melia rolled her eyes. Like a bull in a China shop. She located an elevator, "Going up ladies quick before we have more company." She says hitting the button and waving Harry and Lizzy in.

”Remind me to never bring Shadow on a big job” Harry grumbled as she heard the din he was causing on the others side of the building ”oh well at least they won’t be looking for us” she said as she hurriedly stepped into the lift. As the lift doors closed and the lift started to ascend Harry would draw one of the silenced 9mm and hold it out towards Lizzy ”Here, take this, the longer we can do this on the quiet the better” she said before drawing it’s twin and chambering a round.

 Lizzy follows Melia into the lift with the other ladies. Yes going up, let's use Shadows attack to get up top .

 Lizzy looks at Harry, Yeah very true let's use this to our advantage. Then Harry offered Lizzy a silenced 9 mm, Lizzy put her pulse sidearm away and took it from Harry. Thank you Harry, I wasn't really prepared for this I thought I would be driving. Ladies shall we kick some ass.

 At that Lizzy would get ready for when the lift stopped her gun out ready for anything.

Zob saw the shuttle taking off and quickly grabbed the Vampic RPG pistol and took a shot at it, was a shot in the dark but a shot in the dark was better then nothing.

As the lift went up Melia continued to twirl the angel steel throwing knife. Of the 3 weapons it was by and large the quietest but was limited by how far and fast she could throw it was well as being one of two. She made a note to see about getting perhaps 4-6 more giving her a decent size clip of knives to use. "Shadow's a gods damned bull in a china shop, but as the saying goes he does make for a classic textbook misdirection. She says leaning against the back wall of the elevator facing the door giving her the clearest line of sight on anyone who'd want to enter.

Jug shook her head, but complied with the order.  To her the door was worth checking as there may be those trapped as food or worse.  She grunted for the other Gava to move as well.

   Zob wasn't alone.  A heavy rotary cannon on The Beast, Garrat's CB mech opened fire tearing into the vehicle [hopefully]

   "Sorry I'm late."  He said stepping out of the woods.  "I'm trying to get us some flashy support. There's three CB mechs capable of suport fire on their way here.  I was trying to lead them in but they might have gotten lost on the way."  He shakes his head. "Kids nowadays."

"Aww I think you're a very pretty assassin" Harry said with a cheeky smile as she crouched down just to the left of the doors so she could not only get a good view to the right but also stay out of the way of the other ladies present "...don't worry if you get a taste for it I'm sure the two of us can get you suitably kitted out, though I must warn you it takes years of practice to pull off a look as trashy as this" she said, indicating the thick black lipstick and eye shadow she was currently wearing.

As the lift drew closer to it's final destination Harry would raise her weapon and patiently await the ping that signalled that the lift doors were about to open.

  The Ladies  were in the   elevator.. the   numbers  rand   from 1.. 1 was lit up. and the floors went  up  to 10, and the roof was labeled  as  R.

    The   are some   weapons fire into the   area.

  when  Roy's  grenade  went off there was  More  screams.  The  group  quickly moved in... Larry looked  around  blurbling  as he  looked  up on the  tower, were a  spiral staircase went up.. with a   landing at every level .

  there are  elevators   , they can see one ahead, the   the lights for one  shine on  either  side. There are   bodies of   EDT  and Dusters on the ground,  Shadow   searches  the  dusters   for   weapons, he frowns, no grenades....

  Shade picks up a Odd SMG that is    thinner them his Greasegun, and has a  magazine  sticking  out the    left hand  side, with a   wire  folding stock.   the takes   ther weapons   Belt  from the  Duster, that has   for  pockets  with  3 mags  left in closed pockets.

  Shadow went all COMs...we are in the first Floor...  The ladies  are in as well... not sure where.... There are bodies outside...

 Will opens  up  and    the EDT  folks  who were  beteen the LAdies  entrance and the Glass  door  fell with  surprised screams.

 ...more..bodies soutside  and  inside the main entrance..  Tell the chairman, she  needs  Cash slashers or  scanners, if she wants to  gain funding for her operation...

Flores  says, I see two  people on the roof.. the  door is  open, light is visible..so, they either want to go back in..or someone else is  Coming.

Melia hits the R button and lets the elevator take them up...

As the numbers count up she waits patiently but ready incase someone else has hailed the lift and the doors open before reaching the roof.

"Well...I'd prefer stairs, but trust the EDT to pick an inconvenient layout for their HQ..."  He hit the door button for the elevator, looking inside to see if there was an option to go down.  If not, he'd send it to the roof, to make it more difficult to use it for anyone to follow them, and check the other lift.

   Zob and   Garrat    fire at the shuttle   as it rose into the air.  the   rocket-ish   round went off near the      rear just  below ,  but  damaged the thrusters .. it   wobbled   as Garrat's  weapons  stitched   across the    starbaord  side.

   The  Metaglass  shattered on the   starboard  cockpit, then   Shuttle  went  nose   down to  explode , somewhere outside the eastern  wall of the  Mansion compound...

 Tucker  went Down  as  a smaller  Tude-dog  jumped on him,  its  jaws   closed  around his   carbine,  bending  it  as  he screamed for help

  as the last of  the  people  ran towards the  tree line, Lyri threw in her last grenade. setting off  alarms...deep inside  near the  door..

  Everyone's  Clear.. alarms going off... time  to say hello, CAptain!
 Teela  was in a  tree   to the   side  and  above..  every oen  went  left or   right.

 The   elevator  goes  up  as the swing around to the   east side to the next elevator  .


  Will watched    thier backs    with Shade  while Larry padded  after  Shadow and   roy,  Bloos had  an arrow  fitted into his  bow, but the  'new'  weapon on his  shoudler.

  Shade was using the  Duster  SMG to save on his  Grease  gun mags.  Shout s from  above were going  back and forth, Shadow smiled,see?.. this is  why  the EDT is so bad...everyone  all excited all the   time...

 Larry thumped his tail.

 The  Elevator  went  up  it  stooped,  when the  door  opened they saw a  smaller  room like below, that had  access for the  4  elevators ....and two doors... one door   was oepned , there was a breeze  coming from it.. the  other door was closed.

Zob saw Tucker go down as the dog jumped on him and started to tear at his carbine, he quickly pulled out the DT5 handgun and put 3 hard ammo rounds carefully downrange into the dog one aimed at the head and two in the body.

Kira picked up the coms, "Understood LT, it looks like they were trying to make a escape in a shuttle but didn't make it very far they crashed right outside the eastern wall... finish up with those EDT then will do clean up here and take control of the compound"

Once she was done she switched out her heavy pulse hand for the 50 cal minigun and started tearing into more targets she also kept burning dogs as she came upon them but that would soon run out.

  Garrat carefully waded through the freindly combatants.  not  quite close enough to get to Tucker in time but will be there shortly after Zobs bullets do their work.

  A 19 year old voice comes over his speaker.  "Okay Sgt Wolfrim.  We saw the shuttle go down under your fire.  We will be there in a moment."

   Garrat grits his teeth as he makes his way through the yard. "Make haste, and remember your support only.  Your weapons only go green if Zob or Amber request it."

  the    sleek skin of the Tube  dog   split   and broke  send   more blood then should be in one creature, flying in all directions, including , onto  Tucker.

 He frowned   took the mag  from his  Carbine  and tucked it in his  tunic, then grabbed  at EDT pulse rifle  and    followed after  Sup  , waving to Zob.

 the   reached the Building Hemsly  waved   every one  down, he had  some  C-10  on the  Door...

 he triggered it, Blowing the  Door  and most of the surrounding  wall into the Building..

  Hawkes  yelled,what the 9 hells!.. we  could have had  the Mech kick that in!

 Hemlsy  smiled  and  winked,Ack, Lad, yer  right , an' that's no mistake..but  what fun is that..eh?

  he  got up  and  moved to the smokign  hole, some  small fires  were breaking out inside..alot of bodies  were lying about.. some weakly reaching to the  sky...at least  two bloodhounds  where nothing but  tomato paste.

  there were still a lot of troops  out side, firing at the m from behind  hove r cars, but most lost thier angles  once the  Unit   approached  the gaping hole that was once  a door.

 Muzzle  flashes    from  the second floor  at the first, seemed more  to deter thier entry, rather  then do harm.

 Garrat  noticed, one of his mechs    wasn't  responding...

   The beast straightens up and swivels towards the forest.  "Theodore, do you have eye's on Amos?"

   Garrat turns on his locator and sees if there is a transponder signal for the 19 year old tech.  The CB mechs have better than decent armor but weren't fast.

   "I told you guys to stay together."

Kira would focus her efforts on thinning out the outside troops when her flame thrower ran out of fuel she switched to heavy pulse and continued to hold the line as the others moved in on the mansion.

With her finger on the trigger Harry would watch as the doors silently slid open to reveal a small lobby area in which there were three other lifts and a pair of doors, one of which judging by the breeze would lead out onto the roof "Lizzy watch the door if anyone comes through it shoot them, Melia you're with me" Harry quietly said as she stepped through the open door and onto the roof, Leaving Lizzy to watch their backs.

Having heard the cross chatter she already knew that there was a pair of people on the roof and so when she stepped outside she simply raised her pistol and fired a pair of shots into the nearest before he even had chance to react, leaving the other one for Melia to deal with

 Lizzy got out the elevator took the silenced 9mm and stood watch at the door, ready to shoot anyone who came through. " You got it Harry take care of business up there then come get me okay ladies."
She will watch Harry and Melia head up to the roof, she was ready for anything.

  Inside the   Building,   the troops  spread  around. to   get some shots  at the  enemies   on the next floor.

  Garrat gets   a COM back saying ..we   were attacked by some dog things  and   Human guys ..   we  split to  try and fight them, i thought we  all made it out..

 Supe  called  out ..stairs on the left!

 Robbins  called out...stairs on the right!

   Harry and Melia   get to the Roof  One   was looking over the edge , near the roof  entrance.

  Harry  fires  into  the   Fellow who was  wearing  an EDT  uniform, He cries   out and  falls  over the  low  2  foot  wall..
  The other   fellow  is  at the  northwest Corner  talkign on a COM as he  watched  Flores    Shuttle  float around...

 so  far, Lizzy  doesn't have anything thing come through.

In reply to Zob's  group (msg # 187):

Zob raised his heavy pulse gun and fired full auto into the enemies position on the 2nd floor, he aimed to keep them pinned down while the others could advance, "Just lay down your weapons and ill kill you quickly!" he made a motion to Hemsly to lob a explosive up top.

   Hemsly   squeezed a pair of  'biskets' toegthe r    slipped in the   trigger  and   tossed it   like a Cricket ball.... it  went over the railing  in the middle  of the cresant  shaped Balcony.. he hit the  trigger  as soon as it  clearing the railing,  the Blast  Blew the ralings   towards  the folks down  belor,  crumbled  the   floor  sending it  crashing to the rgound floor.. ..it was  quirt , except  for   some shouts  above.

 Lizzy will stand in the stairway up to the roof,using it as cover, watch the door and the elevators waiting for someone to shoot.  She will wait for further orders as she stands guard and cover the Ladies asses.

Melia followed Harry up, her taget was facing away distracted on the comms. Drawing her pulse pistol in a smooth lazy looking motion she fires she scans the roof looking for signs of Cammer, or even a shuttle.

  The  second  Guard  Dies, just as he turns at the sound of the first guard  falling over the edge...

    Flores  Voice   comes over  ALL COMs,..I have  2 LAdies on the roof.. two less bad guys on the roof. No sign of  people.. i can see alot of  shadows  moving around   where the lights  are in the   2nd  3rd  and  4th floor.. the  9th and  10 floor has light  5 through 8 is dark

   with the  Roof  cleared, I can land   if  needed  for evac.

 Lizzy still doesn't have sign of  anything by the  door.

  Larry sits  in the   elevator  looking  about  as  everyone   eles  steps  in...so?.. what we have elarned  is.. the  lower level  is  suppsoed to have  a hanger.. and the roof  is marked   for  shuttle landing....are all the Big wheels  up stairs?.... sown stairs..or ..are they scattered about , sicne   the  bad guys  plan went  awry?

On Lyri's all-clear, Karl nodded.  "Give it to 'em, Ed..."  The howitzer fired, the roar of the weapon swallowed up by the engines ramping to full thrust at almost the same time...the shuttle was moving milliseconds after the howitzer round cleared the barrel.  The high-explosive round screamed down the tunnel at super-sonic speeds, impacting less than a second after it was fired and unleashing a massive concussive fireball in near proximity to the door that Jug had been listening at only a minute earlier.

The force of the acceleration blacked Karl out for a moment...it was one of the reasons the AI had been included in the design, increasing survivability by enabling maneuvers that pushed beyond human endurance but were still within tolerances.  He came back to with a groan, feeling not unlike someone had kicked him in the chest, his eyes fluttering open.  By instinct, he looked to ascertain the results of the shot, first, then immediately checked the status of his plane, then checked the surrounding airspace to make sure they were still the only plane in the area.

  In the   tunnel  the Blast  Blew  the metal door inward, the Grenade  before  and roused  some   people to   be  waiting at the door,  and they died  in  surprise.

 alarms  were  clearer   now  with rock  and dust   falling a bit inside the  tunnel..

  Two  tube-dogs were charging  down the tunnels  lookign for   trespassers.. behind them   some Dusters    were runnign after them  with   rifles  ready

With no apparent threats, or damage, Karl nodded.  "Back on station, Ed, and slot up some frag rounds in case that one didn't collapse the cave on them and people start coming out."  The plane veered around, sweeping into a low pass another hundred meters further away...still point-blank for the howitzer, but far enough back that no debris from a frag round should reach it.

"Mini-gun and rotary cannon are online...shall I bring up the heavy pulse, too?" the AI asked, displaying what had once been uncommon initiative.  Karl nodded.

"Yeah...we've kicked the anthill, time to get the gasoline and matches ready," he commented, then chuckled grimly to himself.  It had been decades since he'd helped his father deal with ant infestations...in a manner which his mother had devoutly disapproved of.  But, despite her dire predictions, nobody died, no forest fires were started...they hadn't even lost any eyebrows.  He hoped this would be as successful...

Roy shrugged.  "Melia's got a team upstairs, Flores is flying top cover for them and the Morningstar's literally just seconds away if they need more firepower.  If we go down, they've got both escape routes cut off, and the others will be coming in behind us as they wrap up their targets.  I know you like to get the high-profile targets...but right now, I'm content being the other side of the vise, putting them in a bind and making them sweat a little bit before they die."  He gestured with one hand, pointing down, where there was supposedly a hangar beneath the tower.

"If Melia finds Cammer, I'm sure she'll leave enough for you to have some fun with."

 the    weapon  fired  again.. there  were more   screams , with mor e dust  rocks  and Bloody shredded meat  flying out..  ther e was a  quiet  Rumble in the  cave,  followed  by more   dust...

  Shadow   shrugs, hey?  as long as i'm killign bad guys, I'm havign a good time..

 there was  a Blank screen that lit up on Beth and   Sam's   array .  Lt Hirr was there  was a  big cat smile, we are being done  with  most  runaway   traitors...many many are dead..it  is  much fun.. they have  strange animals.. we  have found them to taste , very good   after  cooked on open fire.. we have  collected   some metal cases.. we  will bring them top palce  after this is over...

He gave Larry a pat on the shoulder.  "The moment that door opens, I want you on full seek-and-destroy.  Anyone you see with a weapon is a target.  We'll be right behind you, guns up and firing, but if they're waiting for us, there could be a lot of guns pointed our way.  Pretty sure they're not ready for an angry larg.  If there's too many of them to take time biting, just knock 'em all down and we'll clean them up."  As had been proven many times already, Larry was a fantastic hole-card to turn over when the hand was called...

Garrat growls “you got ambushed in the woods?  I’m beginning to think this whole thing is a set up.”

He opens to the general channel.  “Zob, there are enemy units in the woods.  They may have taken down one of the multi purpose Mechs I  was going to have come in for support.   I think this was to be a trap where our troops were caught between the mansion forces and those outside.  These boys didn’t sign up for this kind of action, I’m leaving them here to defend the compound while I see if I can pull my pilot out of this alive.  Any objections?

 Sam watched her screens, did her job and learned as much as she could from Beth. The traitor Colonel was still wondering about Shadow and how they run this and Sam agreed this operation was looking like a big success, she will keep monitoring the Tower and the two groups they had in it.

Henry crouched down with Mila and the Gava, waiting to see what would happen next.

With the sentries dispatched it wouldn’t take long for Harry to notice the complete lack of a shuttle on the roof ” well unless they have a shuttle on the way, they’re not escaping this way” Harry said with a sigh, taking a moment to look around the rooftop before heading back towards the door ”come on, let’s collect Lizzy and head through the other door...perhaps we’ll get lucky and find Cammer” she said, seeing no reason for them to hang around.

Once back in the lobby she would offer Lizzy a smile as she approached the only other door in the room and cautiously opened it.

She says agreeing with Harry. She moves carefully through the building down to Lizzy, and then up to the other door. Nodding as Harry opens the door moving up to be the first in since Harry has the door her pulse .45 ready.

Kira was holding guard near the entrance on the 3 story building with the other mechs Garrat brought, "Keep a eye out for those attack animals, leave none of these bastards standing" she continued to gun down any and all EDT and dusters she saw trying trivially to mount a defensive.

    The  door opens , there is a stair way going  down, to another landing  like they are on..only one  door  is there, besides the elevator  door.

 As they  come  down the stairs,they can hear people shouting orders,  though its  muffed...  as HArry  nearer the  door ,, she could make out,..let the beasts loose  to roam the  tower.. we  can't  take them with us.... gather  what we  can get. destroy the rest!

    Shadow has his  Sanri up the  car stops, the doors  Open , he  and Will , Roy and  Ni-li opened  up.. Bloss  used  his   bow and loosed  at  any  figure  out  in front


 Larry Roared, the   noise echoed  in the hanger..   a  man screamed  but  not  long  as the  grey-green   creature   all but  bit  him in half.

 Blood hound   came   running  from  both side at the lift, even   as    EDT  and  Dusters  droped  in   front..

 Larry   Jumped   from a  hover  car onto  the   Beast nearest  beast  to Roy   Taking a  3  foot   bite out of it back.. the  blood hound  layed  there..howling..


 and EDT, HAlf -angel fire  three  rounds  into  Larry.. teo were stopped  by his  'vest' , one  entered his   right  side.. The LArg's head  swung in the HAlf-Angel's   direction..as her  eye  grew  wide   ate  the   Blood covered  snout  and head ... in a flast..a muscle  twitch. Larry  was on her.. she  screamed   for   help  as he lowered his  mouth slowly over her head.. she negged and leaded...but  it   ended in a  sickening  crunch...

  as the  group   came out of the lift. they saw  a   hovercar-sized  tunnel to the south... and  a larger.. aircraft sized  Tunnel to the  east.. some   Shuttles   we  lighting up.. a Hover   car   was headed to the tunnel

  we need  to Block those  passages. and finish  these bastards Off.  there puls e round  hit  around Shadow, the  second  one  dropped  him,    he    slide over to the nearest   shuttle , where the half  angel's legs   still jerked i like a headless chicken.

 he looked at his  side  and   shouted,..you're lucky  i wasn't  wearing my jacket!!  I'll just kill you a little bit now!

 larry began to   stalk through the   shuttles. even as Bloos  pulled  and   arrowe d from the head of the blood hound from the other   side.. ther were  more beasts   areound... some where in shuttles, as they heard the  scrape of  claws on the   decs.. others   were stalking, like Larry.

Melia heard the voices but unlike Harry couldn't make out what was being said. She signalled Harry by tapping her on the shoulder using comm operations signs to indicate that the grenade would be a good play.

She posts up next to the door taking the handle from Harry allowing the other woman to utilize and throw the grenade as Melia opens the door silently intending to quickly pull it closed as soon as it passes the door and to brace for the blast

  Supe  went  up the left stair s with Tucker, who was still spitting out Blood hound  drool.

    Hodden  went   with  Zob... The others   looked  around  down stairs... Hemsly   hollered..... we got a  entrance  to the lower level!



 Kira   noticed the  Hounds  were either  getting thinned out.. or  were being smarter, using the  dark and the shadows  created by the fires , to  move in.


  for every thing  she  could  see  from the  blown entrance, there were no movign  enemies.. though, Gun fire  still game from  around  the north  Building..

 Meki  COM all COMs,.. we are  in heated  firefight...  about   1/2  mile to the south east of the burning shuttle.... The Sanri are moving to the Maniosn... we  see the mech... or what is   left of it...there are   beasts going  through it... we  are closing in on the forces..all of the  are  Humans in Brown long  coats..there is  one  Balck clan Human female.. they seem bent  on reaching the mansion.

 Garrat would be  near the north  side of the  burning shuttle at this point

   the    cave  had   smoke  and  dust  comign from inside.... there was only the muffled  sounds of alarms   somewhere inside  the   tunnel.

    Lyri  stepped up, looked  though the  scope,all right... nothing  is moving, alot of   rock and dirt is   piled up... there is  a narrow , crooked  passage..maybe  one person at a time?...  the  door is  still opened.. there is a light beyond it.. i see no movement.

As the shooting died down, Roy assessed the situation in a hurry.  "Shadow!  Hurry up with the killing, we need you as a pilot before they get reinforcements down here!"  He gestured at the shuttles.

"Park one of those in front of the smaller tunnel...like, nose into the tunnel as far as you can get it, then shut it down and we'll disable the engines...they'll either have to push it out of the way by hand or blow the cockpit canopy and crawl through the shuttle, but either way it will slow them down.  Then do the same thing with the other tunnel...but just shut it down, don't disable it. Will, get the door to the lift open and wedge it, so they can't use that car to come down.  The rest of you blockade the other one so they can't get out of it without a lot of work.  Larry, come here...let's patch that, then I want you on clean-up duty...make sure nobody down here's alive to shoot us in the back, and make sure they don't have some back way to sneak up on us."

He turned back to Shadow.  "We've got their exit route...they're going to have to try and force us out.  If we can bottle-neck their access, we can hold this area for as long as it takes for the rest of the Delta forces to come in from behind and crush them."

 Lizzy followed them down the stairs, she heard muffled voices. Then using hand signs Melia says, use the grenade.

 Lizzy would move away from the door and watch their backs as the get ready to throw a grenade into the room.

"I go" she was already making her way to the now rubble strewn hall towards the open door.  Pulse rifle ready.  Other Gava followed, staggered out like she had told them to.

    The Grenade   went In shouts   followed    as  pusle  rounds and  hard  Ammo Peppered the door.. some hard ammo  rounds   went through the door  one  grazed Lizzy's left shoulder, opening groove of  blood.  one  zip past  Harry  left  thigh   doing the   same...

 but the time the realized  they were nicked, the  grenade had  gone off, causing  more screams  of pain and anger... the  door opened  to wards Melia.. she  could   feel the   thumps of    Blood  hounds    throwing themselves at the door.

  "..leave them to the Hounds!...Move! Head to the stairs! "

 they  could  here.. a moaning  person's  cries  where  gut short, by the sound of  a Burian hard ammo pistol

Shadow   grinned   as he  got  up, moved around the back of the shuttle he was hiding behind, the SAnri blaster  went off, splattering the  next shuttle  with Bloodhound guts .

 Entering the pilot's  hatch   the shuttle started up... way to fast. way too hot...I  Must congratulate  all the  EDT scum  and Duster  traitors?... You certainly know all the safety Regs  for   firing Up  a  shuttle..'cause if you go too hot   too fast.... this could happen...

 The   shuttle  rose    fast.. buring   the paint off the nose of the one behind it, the   skids  scraped the  one in fronts  as  the  shuttle  flew   hard and fast to the   entrance... when  suddenly   the    nose   pulled hard to the right , tipping over on its  portside..  before  crashing into the  Mouth of the   Tunnel that led out .. the   back ramp was opening    and  a  , fast Movign Shadow,, dove out  and hit the    hanger   rolling as   weapons  fire   impacts   riddled the  offending,  Shuttle...  a come   with a bright light on it , went  end over end from where   Shadow  was hiding behind an empty shuttle..  this   Time  Shadow  sprinted back towards the other. Diving for the  next  shuttle, ad the  ridle  power cell went off  with the COM trigger, Blowing the  up, fracturing the Shuttles  Powercell , and  effectively  Blocking   the  way for  any  other   shuttles, or  foot   traffic.

 Shadow's  smile   dropped  as he called back out  loud...oh...wait... Don't  disable it.... dammit!   the     people in the   hanger  were  scrambling.. Will was  runnign  after the  Hover   care  , firing his  SMG.. Shade  followed   suit.. Shade  chewed up the rear of the CAr, but as it turned to  enter the  tunnel.. Will capped the    driver  , the   hover   car crashed into the    entrance.. and began to   Smoke...

 a Bloodhound  Jumped On   Shade  as he turned  back to return to Roy As  its   Jaws  went to    Close   his   torch  finger   fired  off, setting the   head on  fire,   in   began to  run around screaming  a high pitched  scream.. was  Wills ran  and Helped   him.. the  elevator  doors  closed   as the   car  went up.. Will swore...

  Ni-Ji  looked at    all the   pandemonium  and asked Roy,..I do not  think..'stealth' means the same in your  world, as it does in  ours...

 Bloss nodded  in agreement...

  The  enemy  was gathering at the far end of the 'carven-hanger'..across  from    the   Unit.

  Shadow  shrugged,...  they could get  by the burning hulk... but  with the smoke  and flame, if they are off, they'll wreck as well.. t

 The hover car  started to glow from within.

 I didn't get a good  count..but there are ..like... 5 hover  cars.. near that end.. and    6 more shuttles counting these two on this  side.. 4 of them are warming up. That one there.... he points to the one  with Bloodhopund  guts  all over it.,..is runnign,  but the pilto   bailed   and ran when i took off.

 Will frowned.....sorry  SM... we   could   rid  something  for when  the car   comes back  down, to blow  up when the  car touches?

 Shade  made some noises....he is asking  if  we should ask them to surrender... all 30 of them...  Shadow grinned.

  a sceam from around the      shuttle closest to the   hover  care, ended as suddenly  as it started.. Larry  came into  view    chewing on an Burian arm.....ok?.. 29  of them...

 jug  went into the   now....small tunnel. it was   crooked  at  tight... every now and then a  rock or some dust  would   fall, causing more dust.

  when they  came out near the door, they saw remains of a  few  dusters.. peering  throw the  door   they  saw a large. man-made opening.  there were 12  human-type at the north  end of  a  passage way...one  of them was  shoting into a COM...trying to get some one to answer.

   Garrat gets the approximate coordinates of the attack “defend the mansion.  “Don’t forget to use the gun cams so you can crouch down and shoot over the wall without exposing your cockpit.”  “Ambermoon, they are trained mech engineers, with wielding and cutting torches in the right hand of their Mechs.  They can strengthen the perimeter at your request.  But the only dedicated weapon is their shoulder cannon.  Use them as you see fit but know that they are inexperienced as combatants”. Garrat growls “I was hoping to get them some low risk experience tonight.  I think I’m going to start breaking bones on Shadows friend with my bare hands.”

Garrat makes haste towards the last known location of the third support Mech.  He slowed down as he gets close and tries to raise his protege with his radio.

Trying not to dwell on the fact that there were more of those attack dogs inside the building Harry would quickly remove the grenade from her belt and pull the pin "ok, on three, one...two...three!" the door was opened and the grenade was thrown. There was the inevitable loud bang followed by a hail of gunfire punching through the door, with a line of red hot pain telling her that her leg had been nicked. It was then that the hounds would try and barge their way through the door with Melia only just managing to stop them.

Gritting her teeth against the stinging pain in her leg Harry would reach inside of her borrowed coat and remove her machine pistol, the need to kill those bloody dogs being greater than the need to stay quiet "Melia! Move!" Harry shouted, giving Melia just enough time to dive to one side before beginning to stitch a series of neat lines of hard ammo across the door at a height she estimated to be sufficient to hit the dogs on the other side. She would continue to fire until either; A) it was obvious that the dogs were no longer trying to get in B)she ran out of ammunition or C) the door fell apart, needless to say she wasn't taking any chances.

As fire landed out at Shadow while he was moving, Roy traced it back and returned fire.  He grinned at Ni-Ji's observation.

"No, it means the same, but there are times when stealth becomes a secondary consideration."  He paused to take a couple of shots at people who broke cover.

"We're in the heart of the enemy's command center, as coordinated attacks are hitting other locations.  If we stay quiet, they can continue coordinating counter-offensive that put our people at risk.  We make it sound like all hell is breaking g loose right under their faces, they have to deal with us and stop coordinating the other efforts. Puts us at greater risk, but it massively decreases the danger to everyone else, and totally disrupts their operations.  So, there's a time for st3alth... and a time to make as much noise as possible.  That's why I had Zob's team go in heavy...they initially thought the main attack was there, so they didn't gear up for a big assault here.  Keep 'em guessing and off balance..."

He nodded to Will.  "See what you can come up with,"  Then Shade, through Shadow, suggested asking them to surrender.

"Well...if ya don't ask, the answer's always no..." Roy mused aloud with a shrug.

Raising his voice, he barked out, "I'm in a generous mood.  I'll give you ONE chance to surrender.  After that, you better shoot yourselves, because if the larg doesn't eat you, and Shadow doesn't skin you alive, I'm gonna stick my hand down your throat and pull your lungs out while you're still trying to breathe!  Any takers on the surrender?"

Jug moved closer, careful to be quiet and stealthy.  From behind cover and with careful aim shot the comm machine the Duster was shouting into.  If it took his arm, so be it, he would lose an arm, but he still would have the other.  As well there were med supplies ...somewhere under the rubble.  The surprise should startle them all and alert her compatriots at the same time.

With the tunnel apparently caved in, Karl throttled up on the Morningstar, taking it back up to operating altitude, and began scanning the area around the cave to make sure nobody was sneaking up on the personnel on the ground.  "Infrared and motion-sensing, Ed...if anyone's trying to surprise them, I want to get our surprise in first..."  He wasn't sure attacking the cave with heavy artillery was the most effective means of removing enemy personnel from it...but while he was a captain as well, McKeon was in command of Bura now, and she had given the order.

So, while it might take his team longer to accomplish their objective at the cave, now, he would do everything he could to make sure they did it without any nasty surprises from behind and out of the woods.

    Harry   fries her  weapon mindlessly into the  door..,  when the  mag  runs   try.. there is   some whimpering  inside of the   room..

  as Melia   opens the  door,,  they see  three  Blood Hounds  laying  there..   One is whining   in pain.

   at  the  far end of doorm is  another door , its open  as   another duster   vanishes  down ward.

 This  room has   some desks  and  Computers. There is a  Sign on the   wall with   a white  sun half covered by  black moon.

  the  put the  shuttle power  cell at the   base of  lift  shaft.. a Grenade  rest on it , with  the pin pulled, but the spoon held and  would ping if  something  nudged it.

from across the way, a Voice  with the accent  of an Angel called out...You fools!... you are trapped here  with us..and we out number you.. there will be  more  coming  down... and  we  have a few More  Hounds left..

 The   Hover  CAr  Blew up at the tunnel entrance...it  appears we are  all trapped  for a while, at least until the others  come  down... YOu said Shadow?  That is laughable... send the pilot over  so I can take his head, and  we'll let the rest   take  which  ever tunnel you wish.. if you can survive the fires.. you'll be  free..and  we'll be rich..

  the  Court yard  was  gettign  quiet.. Garrat's Mechs  stayed    close to   each other..seeing  bodies    vanish in red, pink or blue   splatters

  Hemsly calls up,..You want us   to   check the   lower level.. or seal the doors?

 Supe   kicked in  the   door at the tops of His stair.. a Bloodhound  Hit  him and the brock though the  Railed to  Fall to the   first floor...

 Tucker  jumped after them    pulling his Bowie  Knife..  three   people came  out  firing at  the  ground  floor people, .. Two  Burians  from the eastern  support  troops  died.

 Hodden  Fired   back   from where she and Zob were.. Hitting one  of them.. Tucker  was stabbing the Blood   hound   screaming   as he  did... with the beast on top of  Supe.

 Garrat  didn't like  what he saw.. two Bloodhounds  leaving the   smoking Mech.. the   cockpit  was blood  and  covered   with splashes of  blood..  the  Occui  were    now  fireing heavy into   enemy troops as the   came  from  100 or so yards  from Garrat to the south.. across the  way, Garrat could see   pockets of  enemy  troops    running   north east to the   Mansion.

  Jug   slowly Moved  closer.. the  person on the COM was  angry...and worried?

   As she  raised her  weapon, one of the others turned  and saw here....WTF is that!

 They  turned  and she  fired,  Hit  the   man in the shoudler, Knocking him down
 the   guy who saw her  first yelled,..Kill it!..they work  for  HAck!

  Morgan and   Clark came on the COMs,hey!.. we  got  at least..100 or some  enemies  left  , to the south  and west of the  cave.. we  took out  a Bunch..  lost of them things that look like hot dogs on legs.. where doing a  fighting retreat... maybe  we can use that cave?.

Roy was about to respond to Shadow when Will made his observation.  "Yeah, I kinda figured they would be.  It's not like the Captain's promotion has been any sort of secret...it's already been mentioned in the media a couple of times by the Admiral.  I'm guessing these guys also had some people...not active agents, but surveillance types...at the palace during the big reception.  And their buddies in the dusters have people in the Fleet, as passengers, so I'm not real surprised by that."

While the Angel had been talking, Roy had listened carefully, trying to localize where, exactly, in the hangar the voice was coming from.  "We need to work out where they're at.  If they're smart, they're in three or four separate groups, all in position to provide cover fire on each others' positions...but I'm guessing they haven't drilled heavily in how to respond in the event of enemy infiltration, so there's a good chance they're all in one spot, counting on superior firepower to hold their position."  He glanced around, looking to see if there were positions he could sprint to in order to get a different angle of fire...and if there were enough that he could spread out his personnel to get different angles of fire on whatever position the EDT troops had.

 Hack  shook his  head with a  slight smile at the  feeds from  Roy's  group.. Captain  McKeon?... Those people in the hanger area  with  Roy and Shadow?... please let our people know, none of them enemy there..needs taken alive..

 He  watched the  CAve   and hoped the Mechs    could  whittle  down the numbers to make the manageable .

  To the Mansion he   says himself,..Mansion group... when the  Sanri and Occui get there.. use the mansion compound  for a fort.. don't  leaf until you have swept the place.

 Macon is shoved into a  chair   and  pushed up so he sat between the screens  ,  Morris  shoot a foor behind him with his  WWII  era Bayonet  drawn

  if they escaped the tunnels... anywhere those  tunnels lead.. we have people wating..very..angry..unhappy..people

  Shadow  looked    over the shuttle they hid  behind....there are three shuttles lined upo there..like they were here..Unitl i took our   middle one...The other  ones  are in 'no-man's ' land..  if  anyone has  anymore  grenades,  we  could roll them over, and try to touch off the power cells.

  Ni-Ji says,.. I bet they are  behind the middle one.. so they can  watch  both   entrances.. and  still  have  cover from us   here

 Bloss  says,..they still have thier  dogs..

Karl adjusted the banking spiral of the Morningstar, moving to come across the line of travel of the mechs, with his weapons pointed downrange from them.  "Got some cavalry coming in for the assist, Chief," he said into the comms.  "Ed, you've still got frags loaded for the howitzer?"

"That's affirmative, Captain, and all weapons systems are online and primed to fire."

Karl nodded.  "Okay...I want frag rounds laid down in the heart of the enemy formation, first one dead center, second and third on their flanks.  Heavy pulse fire as fast as it will cycle, stitch a line across the mechs' line of retreat to cut off enemy pursuit...lay it down danger close.  If there are any stray elements outside the main formation, hit them with cannon fire."  He could feel the plane's center of gravity shift minutely as he spoke, the barrels of the howitzer and heavy pulse cannon angling forward as far as they could to pick up the first opportunity of a good shot.  He dropped down lower, bringing the Morningstar into cannon range for striking ground targets, and firewalled the throttle, moving to cross the T of the enemy formation.

"Enemy targets acquired...commencing fire..."  The AI voice was supremely calm, and that tone was starkly contrasted by the plane beginning to buck with the recoil of the heavy weapons opening up, the pulse cannon laying down three shots in the time it took the howitzer to reload...

The forest behind the retreating mechs erupted with a withering barrage that would forever transform the landscape of the area.

  The  Trees  Vanished  in red/yellow blooms .  Bodies flew , and parts of  bodies  flew  Further. The   deadly beasties    where  torn to shreds by concussion as well as  frags... Meanwhile the mechs  Hustled  Back,   concentrating  fire  on the  wings   now ..

The other Gava that had followed Jug moved up as well.  She gava what sounded like a 'hiss' and the Gava moved.  They would cover each other as needed to move up.  Those with pulse weapons covered those with spears and bows.  2 Gavans to 1 Duster.  When the target either surrendered or was down then they would pick another and keep on them.

Roy grunted.  "I'm guessing a flashbang isn't going to be enough to set off the fuel cells..."  He dug another frag grenade out of his vest.

"That's my last one.  Make it count.  Even if they aren't in the center one, if you can get that one to cook off, it might set off the other two.  Even if it doesn't, while it's going up, they're gonna be hunkered down, so everyone be ready to move up.  Will, you take Bloss and Ni-Ji...head for the shuttle blocking the aircar tunnel.  Shadow, you and Shade and I will head for the other wreck.  Larry...if they start shooting at either of us, go at them while they're focused on us, we'll be right behind you.  If you see anyone in your way, gun 'em down, and watch to see if you can locate where they're at."

He handed Shadow the grenade.  "Show us the arm, hotshot.  Everyone moves as soon as the grenade goes off."  He stayed in a crouch, ready to jump up and run, and nodded to Shadow.

  Macon looked  in awe as the forest  blew up.. fires  burned in small areas, and  bodies  where high lighted  with  each blast.

 ..  I know your    lands  are takign a bit of a beating, but one must  remove the source of infection, in a wound... I think Bura  will heal  nicely.

 Shadow  Grinned   as  everyone  got  ready, the  puled the  ping, held the   spoon as he   slipped   to no man's   land, and threw the grenade like  a  football at the  last  shuttle  near the  aircar  tunnel..  flashes  of  weapons fire   said. most of  not all were    behind   or   against the wall  of the  middle  shuttle..

 it  hit  the    nose of the last   shuttle  bouncing under the    middle one.

 ..Nic e Try./.. maybe you need more....  The Grenade   when off , lifting the    rear of the   shuttle   a few inches off the  Ground..., then the powercell  ruptured  and  threw  the shuttle into the    taking out a lot  of    people  behind it

 then Shadow  was  sprinting towards the Shuttle  entrance to link up with  Roy and Shade..

 will  and the two Burians   hustled  around the  other   end ... Bloss stopped  and loosed  and  Arrow  and a   Bloodhoud   fell to the ground.. Larry Bounded  between shuttles  at  no-man's  and,,  tearing into  a Bloodhound and  it hapless handler.

 Ni-JI smiles  at Will.....if this is  how delta nights  are..  we will be very pleased  to take part as  Hermes  members!

.. the  Elevator  came  down.. there was a  odd  Bump.. people where  complaining about   not  being on the ground, when the  Doors  Blew  open  and into no-mans land.. while the car  and  its Burning  dead, and dying   people  shot  upwards like  ringing the  bell at a carnival.. the  car  only when up three   floors.  befor it and its  cables   fell all the way  down , crashing in the fire that  burned in the shaft.... the  first   three  floors  elevator doors, to the hanger r also Blew open..light  up..briefly.. the  rooms .

  the  fight was as brutal as it was  quick.. the  6  enemy troops who found  went  down with pusle    round  and then  stabbed  or  beaten to   death.

 One  Gava was blown in have by a Duster Shotgun.

 3  other    duster  ran  away, into the tunnel.

Roy muttered into his comm, "Okay, Will...you and Ni-Ji set up to fire if anyone opens up on us, we're going to move up.  Bloss, you keep an eye on the rest of the hangar and make sure nobody gets a cheap shot in on them unawares while they're watching out for us."  Releasing the comm, he looked at Shadow.

"Okay...Shade and I will hold position, ready to fire...you move up toward them.  When you get within some semi-effective range of that cannon, hunker down...Shade will move up while we cover him, then I move up while you two cover me."  He got into a prone position, looking downrange, both eyes open...one was focused through the scope, the other open to see if there was motion outside the view of his scope.

"Go..."  He was focused on the area where the EDT troops had been, waiting for any sign of anyone still willing to put up a fight.  Anyone who moved in his line of fire would immediately regret it...

    the  fires  showed soem  movement of those who were far  enough away from the shuttle..  thy had to  move back further  to up or down to stay out of the light.

 As what was Roy could see two people      huddled  against eh  cave  wall looking down range  where the   burning hover  car was

 Will shouted  out,..Hey!.. Empire  brown nosers?  how's the  numbers  workign for you now?

 Shadow was like his  Namesake, he all but vanished into the darkness   along the   far wall...He  used  hi  COM to send a Light  back the Roy  and Shade.. Shade  tried to move smooth  but  was not as successful..  they heard  some noises.. he stopped at the   nose of the  lead  'no-man's ' land shuttle, brining his weapon up to cover Roy

 Shadow  Pulled his trench knife out with his left hands.. and waited as  his  sanri was pointed  at  a Duster who was only about 5 feet away..

Once Shade had gotten in position and had his weapon ready, Roy got up into a crouch, staying low and in the shadows as much as he could, moving forward to Shadow's position.  Still moving in a crouch, he made his way back to the tail of the shuttle, slowly easing his head out to get a look and see if there was anyone in line-of-fire from there...he kept his head vertical, only exposing enough of the side of his face to potential fire to get an eyeball into viewing position, hoping that anyone who might still be operational back there was so rattled from the explosion that their hands would be unsteady...if they were even aware enough to notice the tiny bit of him exposed from behind the shuttle.

Zob rolled his eyes as he saw yet another attack hound, "I HAVE HAD IT WITH THESE GODS BE DAMED ATTACK ANIMALS!"  he then got a bloodthirsty look in his eyes as a round flew past him impacting the wall behind him and fired full auto from the heavy pulse directly into the 3 people who came down the stairs aiming to kill them in a horrific manner.

Mila wriggled through the narrow passage and arrived in the chamber where the Gava were wreaking mayhem on the 'dusters'. She looked round, sending rather confused messages back to Her Human about the brawl in progress.

Kira responded to Hemsly, "May as well check it out but don't go to far in, when the reinforcements get here will do a comprehensive sweep of the building for now lets take care of all hostiles"

 Lizzy stood back as Harry unleashed into the door, when the mag was empty Lizzy put a hand on her shoulder ," Hey they are down lets go Harry."
Lizzy felt the graze on her shoulder but it wasn't bad and she would deal with it later.

 When Melia opens the door, she sees a Duster running down the stairs, Lizzy will try and get a shot off as he disappears out of sight. " Damn lets go get them shall we ladies."  Lizzy will look at the computers and say," We need to come back here and check these out after okay ladies."

 Sam watched her screens, the ladies where moving downward after Dusters and possibly their leader. Then Macon was put in a chair and moved between Sam and Beth. When he spoke Sam chuckled at the answers and she would say, " Colonel if this is the capabilities of our enemies and this was a trap laid out by you and our enemies, I am very certain we will kick your ass. You definitely picked the wrong side Colonel."

 Sam took a drink of water and watched everything play out on her screens.

”I fucking hate dogs” Harry snarled as she ejected the spent magazine and followed Lizzy across the small room towards the stairwell, pumping a pair of rounds into the wounded hound as she passed ”don’t worry about the computer, they’ll get that when they do the cleanup” she said as she followed the fleeing enemy into the stairwell. Holding the machine pistol out in front of her she would limp down the stairs looking for an opening through which to open fire on the enemy ”Come back, we only want to play!” Harry called after them in a sing song ”...what’s the matter you’re not scared of a couple of girls are you!”

      Garrat’s com switched off but anyone outside his Mech could hear his roar of rage over his screaming servos as the Mech ran at the two dogs.  Tha Largan Mech was slow by ESN standards but not by snake dog standards.  He caught one in each hand.  The first one he slowly crushed.  The second wasn’t so lucky.  Garrat flipped on the cutting torch and slowly cooked it alive.

      Garrat’s angry voice comes back on the com“Mech down, we’ll figure out why a frame designed to take a micrometeor storm fell to ground troops later.  For now large numbers of enemy troops are circling around defenders here and will be at the mansion soon.  I’m squawking at zero zero niner.   Shoot everything else until someone in the AP tells you otherwise.

     Over the com the shrieks and screams of the dying snake dogs can be heard.

      One sweep of Garrat’s cannon thins out the lines for the occupied and Garrat takes off after the flanking forces with murder on his mind and a Largan rotary cannon to do it with.  Much of the internal workings of his Mech was rebuilt using ESN quality parts, but the Largans made good guns and the mech cannon was exemplary of this.  It would be a bad night to be EDT

Melia simply ignores the remaining beast as Harry puts it down.

"Got a bunch heading down the stairs. Beth can you lock down the elevators in the tower." She says over her comm.

"Stay alert they're on the run but they could still set traps." She says approaching the stairs and starting to follow the dusters down. She moves quickly knowing if she can close some of the distance then she can reduce the amount of time the dusters have to booby-trap anything. If she gets a clear shot of the enemy ahead she takes it.

 There is  brief  weapons  fire. Robbins  speaks  up...Two less of them  Dog things.. and one handler... wonder how  much they promised to pay him if he held us off...

 Supe  Pushes  the  Dead  Beast off  him he  looks at Tucker who is  covered in Bloodhound blood..he laughs  , picks up his  weapon  and bends to make sure his back is  alright...

Garrat heard   the Soft voice  of  Captain Si,..if  we  can take  down Mechs... i am certain our enemies   are able to as well. and more then one mech has met its   end on the hull of a Cap ship.

    when the  big  mech fires  into the   enemy   troops , Meki  COMS,we're beatin'  'em  down Big Mech... they are scattering  in   small groups... watch  fer  them  'ounds though, they seem a might  fragile , when a  round hit them... but them   jaws   do a number on weapons and armor.....then catch fire  quick too!

  round   bounced off  , or slammed into   Garrat  was Heavy  weapons  people aimed at the Metaglass  and   Legs..  but the  time the  trees  were thinning, his  right  leg  was blinking yellow.. and  he  could  see  some   deep pits in the   Metaglass..  pockets of    Duster...EDT, or Mixed  were  headed towards the Manion.. the   Eanri had  broke from the  eastern edge of the   forest.. roars   war    cries, as their endurance  was eating into the faster  Human's  lead.. more  were falling , a few   were grabbed    but   sanri who ripped off  arms and dropped the screaming bodies.

Henry wriggled less than elegantly through the narrow passage to support Mila and the Gava.

  HAck   looked down at his boots   as  Garrat's CAM  showed the  remains of the mech, he looked up as  Si was softly talking on the COMs

  Macon was staring hard at the screens...... Shadow..he's gone..he left his people!

 Hennings    almost choked on his   coffee.. even  Morris  and a refined  chuckle...Shadow doesn't  break and run.. and he doesn't leave folks behind?.... with a sideways look to Sarah, Beth says,..not always  the   Bulldozer...

 she looked  abck at  the screens a happy little smile  on her face  as her  head  tilted  back and forth

 Orria  was treated to a close up look at the jaws  of the Blood hound  before   Shade  torched its head... she watched  from the Other CAMs   as people moved through the   hanger, closing in on the  'trapped'  enemy.

 when Melia  asked about the elevator, Beth answered,don't trust any elevators.... The  HAnger   group booby trapped  one,  it  blew up   ..... the other elevators  may or may not be  effected  by that... but ..its  a long way down....

  when henry reached the Gava, he saw the VAn, , More Ammo, and More  Med tech supplies.

  he saw the dead  enemies  and some happy, blood  covered   Gava..and the one  dead one.

 Mila    pointed with her nose  to the   hover  car  tunnel.

Alright, I don't like the idea of leaving targets behind us. I suspect the main group is headed down the stairs. I'll pursue them to keep them honest and running towards Shadow. Harry, do you and Lizzy mind clearing the floors as we go down with quick sweeps so no one tries to get cute and hide behind us or ambush us from behind?"

She asks giving the other two women the option to decide. Either way the tower would be cleared, but they were less effective with a pulse round in their backs so some effort needed to be made.

 Sam smiled at Sarah and sent the message,  we don't need prisoners to Shadows group.

 Sam smiled and watched as the hanger looked like it was theirs, the,Ladies clearing the top of the Tower, the Mansion was almost done and the cave was cleared.

 All the missions where looking good.  Sam was looking into trying to take control of some tower functions to try and trap bad guys in certain areas.

 Sam will look at Sarah, Captain message sent, and they seemed happy ma'am.

 Lizzy followed behind Melia down the stairs keeping her gun at the ready. When Melia asks Lizzy and Harry to clear the floors she smiles and says,Not a problem I would rather not got shot in the back as well.

  Lizzy will move to the door to the 8th floor and then add,Okay whenever your ready Harry , i open the door you shoot the bad guys. on 3. Lizzy will wait till Harry is ready to move into the 8th floor.

     “Sure, When we use anti material rounds for armored vehicles.  Not likely standard issue for taking out a clean sweep team. I’m getting hit by more than standard weapons fire.  Hold on to that traitor, I have a story to tell him about a boy who fell in love with Bura and never wanted to leave.  A boy who had never had a home , but found it here and volunteered for this mission because he wanted to defend it.  The LT might want a piece of that dung heaps body but I get a shot at his soul.

     Garrat pushes his machine to head off the dusters. He wanted to be in a position to catch them in a crossfire with the other two Mechs.  He radios ahead to warn them what direction the dusters are coming from.

Plus had died.  Death was common to Gava.  It happened fairly often.  Jug understood this death and he'd be honored.  For now she had Bog stay with him and Doc Henry.  The others would avenge Plu and take pout the others running off.  For them Jug made  the Havana chasing look as fearsome as possible.

 Captain Si L:ooked at  HAck.  The Admiral Just  gave a  closed  eyed shake of his head.

  Colonel? I don't know how this is all going to shake out. We lost  some folsk outn tehre  to day..the APF  and the  Burians lost  alot more. It may come down down  to who  gets here first, as to how your  punishment  goes.

Following the fleeing dusters as quickly as her stinging leg would allow her Harry would curse the internal wall that stopped her from getting a clear shot at them, with even Melia only scoring a glancing hit.

Reaching on of teh semi-circular landings just in time to see the door onto that floor gently closing, Melia would make the suggestion that she continued to chase the fleeing dusters down the stairs whilst Harry and Lizzy swept the floors. Although she didn't like the idea of leaving Melia on her own she had to admit that there was a certain amount of logic to ehr suggestion "Alright, just don't do anything stupid like catching up with them" Harry said before moving into position to the side of the door. As soon as Lizzy reached three and opened the door Harry would quickly round the corner with her machine pistol raised ready to fire upon anyone that may be lurking on the other side.

Once separated from Lizzy and Harry, Melia would redouble her pace aiming to get close enough to score potshots and make the fleeing enemy make bad decisions or risk getting shot in the back.

  Melia     charges  down the stair s shooting  when she  thinks  she has  a shot, its  hard  to  tell how many she is chasing.

 when   Lizzy opened  the  door, there is  a  halfmooned  room that would   fit the3  tower's  build.. more desks  .. there are two  wounded  EDT  there.. one  is  a  Half Occui ( green  and  purple mix!)

  the Occui says... FEED!   and two   Bloodhounds   jump over   the desks charging at the two ladies!

Melia continues to chase the fleeing dusters, a few times the shots are close just fractions of an inch from hitting. Some singing the edges of the dusters she continues to push using her free hand to grab the center wall and accelerate around the turns hoping to catch up, or hoping someone in the back of the fleeing enemy trips and falls piling everyone up

She pivots the corner on the landing of the 7th floor as she continues down leaving Harry and Lizzy 2 floors above her. Again she caught a glimpse of the brown duster ahead of her and unleashed a volley of shots. Two went high and wide, but the third burned into the target as a glancing blow.

Kira was holding ground near the entrance to make sure no other forces were gonna try and come in behind them, "I'm gonna hold ground here and secure the entrance"

As a pair of hounds appeared from behind the desks Harry's eyes would go wide with fear as she fired a long sweeping burst at them. Should her initial attack fail to have the desired effect she would aim for the one nearest to her and fire a more controlled burst "Kill those bloody hounds! We'll deal with those two when they're dead!"

With all the speed he'd put on for the strafing run, it took time to get turned around.  "Same procedure,  Ed, this time we'll hit the back of their formation."  After the UE march across Astra, Karl knew he didn't have the time or distance to take down all the forces chasing the mechs...but every body he dropped was one less that they'd have to fend off at the cave.  "This time, we're gonna turn and follow their line of forward progress...save the howitzer for high-density clusters of troops or for any armored targets they might have moving...rapid-fire the pulse cannon."

As the Morningstar came in, the pulse cannon opened up, quieter and less recoiling than the howitzer, firing about three times each second and spraying gouts of earth and shattered trees and limbs skyward.  Occasionally, a louder, more concussive boom sounded as Ed located clusters of troops in a close-enough cluster to be affected by the shrapnel from a frag round.  "Adjusting fuses on frag rounds for aerial burst," the AI announced after the first shot.   "Surface irregularities are reducing the effectiveness of fragmentation spread."

The Morningstar banked as it was approaching the outer limit of its firing arc, following the spread out lines of enemy advancement and continuing the barrage, thinning out the enemy ranks and scattering them so they couldn't mass their fire on the mechs or troops at the cave mouth.

Not seeing any potential threat, Roy eased around the back of the shuttle, weapon up, eyes searching.  He moved forward, the muzzle of his weapon tracking with his eyes, ready to fire, the plan being to sweep around the back of the shuttles to the far end of the line, to get a different fire angle on the hold-out EDT troops.

  Harry's    sweep  hit   the  le3ftmost  Hound bad enough  that    it  couldn't   quite make the Jump of the  Desk.  Falling, whimpering , and trying  to reach her.. the   Right  hand one charged in hard    The Maw opened like a split Hotdog  with  a cavernous throat and  hundreds  of   teeth.. It was   3 Feet from her   as she heard the EDT laughing.

 The   Duster  Grunted as he was hit... he slammed into the    wall  but  kept  running. as Melia  continued to chase... the long  runs in the tunnels, didn't seem  so bad  now, as she  could see the enemy  struggling  to stay ahead.

 Lizzy reacts as one hound gets wounded, she would say ," You got it Harry lets get these fuckers."


 Lizzy would aim for the bloodhound that went for Harry, she would try and shoot it in it's gapping maw trying to make sure it doesn't get too Harry alive.  Lizzy would quickly fire again if the first shot doesnt take the hound down.

  As Roy  moved Shadow  followed a bit behind, as not to give Roy away.

 Down  range  Will and Ni-Ji  gunned  down  two   people who tried to make a run for the  car tunnel...

 Someone pointed at   Roy from the  shadows... when a voice   could be heard.. and a   duster, with his head  leaning  forward..had his  arms waving loosely

at 'me' the body fell forward  and    the   darkness lit up  by  rapid  shots of the Sanri Blaster..  The closest   EDT trooper  lost his  head and most of his chest..  no others  were hit.. but the  Gun fire  light up the area.

 Lizzy   pumps  the   2nd   hound  with Rounds... the ebast falls  dead a foor  from Hary's boots.

 The EDT people....stopped laughing.

 Lizzy using her fighter pilot reflexes, she will quickly re-aim and shoot the closest EDT person with two rounds, hoping Harry will get the other EDT asshole. " Lets get these Bastards Harry no mercy."

Staring down at the dead hound at her feet Harry would gulp down some air into her lungs before looking up at the sole surviving EDT operative who was no longer finding the situation quite so funny. Raising her hand to signal that she wanted Lizzy to hold her fire she would walk over to the wounded EDT man, pausing long enough to finish off the wounded hound she'd hit with her initial sweep before turning to look at him "think that was funny did you?" she asked in a voice that said she was seriously un-amused by the situation "I'm going to ask you a question, and you're going to answer me...else things will go very badly for you" she said pulling the garrote from out of her pocket so that the EDT man could see the length of silvery wire she was holding "Wheres Cammer? Tell me where he is or I'll cut you head off"

 Lizzy stopped when Harry gave her the sign she wanted this one alive for now. Lizzy watched Harry move closer, first she finished the other blood hound down.  As Harry was doing this Lizzy moved to his other side with her 9 mm pointed right at his head.

 When Harry gives the bastard his choice, Lizzy would add," We could aways cut the other head off first and watch you bleed out maybe it would bring one of those hounds to munch on you, now that would be funny." Lizzy thought it was funny but she wasn't smiling her eyes where cold and calculated, she wanted him to try something so she could blow his traitorous head off.

  The   fellow looked  at the two LAdies,..I..I don't know.. he's in the  Building. or w2as , at the start of the night..he was trying to get  all the  big Creds off  Bura.. and using them as   bait to get rid of   some Pilot  and a few others...if he's here.. he's either  in the tower..or the Hanger..  we're only the Muscle...

   Zob and others    start making their way  up the stairs  ,  encounter one or two   troops  at a time.

  when the  reached the top , both  side  doors oepned into one larg  room that contained   a pair of  beds, desks , couched  Vid screens and Book cases  full of  boot.

  Sitting behind  one desk was a EDT Colonel with a hole  blown in his chest. and a   Medallion stuck in his  mouth. The Medallion had  a white  sun, half covered by a black moon.

  In the  compound Kira  and  the  two  Mechs stood  near the Blown gate, waiting for the  APF  troops to make it to the   mansion.. The   Empire  troops where caught between the people ion the compound, and the   troops  comign up from behind...

 the very same trap they were going to use.. was now  being closed on them.

As Zob walked on over to the dead EDT Colonel he then called out, "Tear the room apart, if you find any good booze save some for me" he then grabbed his head and violently forced his mouth open in a horrific ripping motion and grabbed the medallion as well as checked his body for any sign of identification etc.

 going through the overly large  room  a few of the others  came up. Hemsly  finds the    liquor  cabinet , he   breaks it open with his   trench..

Zob rips off the name patch and moves over to a window and smashes it out and readies to fire on the invading enemy force, "Orders are to lock this place down then once the reinforcements get in here will do a comprehensive sweep... Hemsly i got a important task for you... i need you to pour the drinks!" Zob grinned as he waited for them to get in range and once they did Zob would open up full auto with the heavy pulse.

   Then..  the  shouts  they heard  were no longer   cries of attacks... they were  moans of the wounded... the rustles   to the east and  west, as  the troops that survived , broke and ran, seeking to escape  before morning came.

 inside, Jug chased  after  the three  fleeing   dusters.., the Little Gava   were faster, and    could  jump of the , slightly rounded walls...

 Inside the  cave.. Brooks and Nagy check their  Ammo,well?  we  have  most of our  Ammo.. shoudl  we  follow  the Doctor.. or wait?

Ran, leaped, and moved around quickly as did those Gava following her.  Yes they were close, but atleast 1 or 2 she wanted to take live.  Since they were running, they were not looking back a lot.  she would move up close to one and leap timing to land one him or her. if he/she would look she made menacing jaw flaps, revealing her teeth to act as if she were going to 'bite'.  then bring her daggers out and force their surrender.  the other Gava would either tackle and take prisoner the others or dispatch if they were going to act up.  letting them get to the hover van or to a place where they might have weapons to use was not an option.

When Shadow's blaster lit up the area, Roy brought his weapon up, looking for motion.  Eye on his scope, he began crab-walking sideways from behind the shuttles, moving toward the far wall of the hangar...if anyone poked a head up, he would fire, but he was moving quickly.  They had the enemy boxed in, it was just a matter of flushing them out and finishing them off.

    Despite his wounded knee, Garrat was able too angle around and find a thicket of trees barely in time to settle in place.  There was no way to actually hide the mech, but if he stood stock still in the night, he wouldn’t attract the eyes of the enemy with the density of the vegetation disguising the density of his Mech.

     Garrat would wait till fire from the compound caused them to take cover, then he would cut them down from behind.

Karl had banked around and was coming back for another pass over the EDT troops when they finally broke and ran.  "Change of plans, Ed...this just became a search-and-destroy mission."  It was short-hand...SAD operations were a programmed subroutine of the tactical programming for the AI.  Power indicators shifted as the heavy guns were powered down and the cannon and minigun became the primary weapons.

Karl banked the Morningstar toward the city, intending to cut down as many as possible before they made it to cover in the buildings.  He throttled back and began flying a broad, sweeping zig-zag search pattern, letting the AI utilize IR and other sensors to locate fleeing personnel.  Occasionally, there was the sharp bark of a single cannon shot from the turret, or the angry buzz of the minigun, as individuals, pairs, or trios were located and eliminated.  He continued until there was either no sign of them, or they were close enough to the city that there became a risk of non-combatants being targeted accidentally.

Mila chased along with the Gava, snapping at the heels of the dusters.

      Jug  and  another  Gava   Broke the  Duster   dwon on the   right,  the  man fell shouting  and flaing his  arms at them...  Mila  got  tangled up  with the Middle on and brought her  down hard.

  the  Third  Duster   was pounced on by  3 Gava   who stabbed  him for a while, until he stopped making noise.

  Henry could see the   chase  unfold through  Mila.

 The area   around the  north east side  was  pretty well picked  clean of  enemies.. to teh west a  few were still  runnign  spreading out, some  found cover  ...somewhere..perhaps   small caves or  rocks..

 Lyri  COMed back.....cave   seems to be secure... outside  threats  have   fled or been eliminated..... still workign on   the inner cave, Until we  get  feed back from Doc...

 The troops that were  running to the MAnsion, had  no intention of stopping..with Occui and  SAnri in the trees, they wanted to  reach the safety  of the walls

 as they passed  GArrat, a bit more to  the west of him, he  would have his chance...

 Up on the  wall,   Supe and Hodden   moved to the   western side, since it seemed the Sanri had   done thier  job..

 heavy weapons opened   un and  zipped  into the  diminishing numbers  of troops  ehaded to  the 'saftey' of the  mansion.

  Roy  had  two targets , right away  as they   truned to fire in teh darkness where  they...briefly ..saw  Shadow behind the  Flash of his  Sanri.

     Shade got the  roll of bandage from his small first aid  kit.. he dumped the   alcohol in it  and watch the bandage roll absorb it.. then he touched it off with his finger, throwing it  over the  shuttle  to help light up the area...

 On e EDT trooper  thought it was a grenade  and ran down towards   Will, where   the trooper an Ni-Ji  gunned him down

 Shadow had  backed  up   a lot    as the    enemy had  fired on his last spot...

  the  fires  from the   shuttle.. and  the small torch  Shade made, gave a brief  accounting  of the  moving   troops...

  he   whispered in all COMs.....you see muzzle  flashes.. saturate the area  with weapons  fire..

 .. So?.. Empire LAp dogs?.... you got be  down to only a few ,...right? and  i don't care id  Qer La Cal is coming to help you herself.. she'd  never get here in time to save you..so?  you  can fight us?  you'll all die....if you're  lucky you might kill one or two of us.... you can surrender... save us all a lot of  time?  Or..yuou can just blow your own brains out..'cause...bura doesn't like trators..

 Teh  Answer  was a HAil of  gun fire  at  Shjadow     who dove    around the   nose of the shuttle  he stood   by.

Melia continued to chase, her breath came easy after all the tunnels and obstacles were what this was for. She pivoted going down towards the 5th floor still chasing. Her next opportunity sends a volley scattered wide as she slips slightly around the corner on a little blood from the wounded dusters. S

She curses and continues her chase heading to the fifth floor landing and turning to continue her pursuit.

Sarah shook her head. "Let him make himself known, otherwise we'll find his body once the dust settles." She continues to watch the screens allowing the troopers and teams to make choices and achieve objectives on their own. If needed she'll step in.

With the Dusters now down, if not out Jug made sure the live ones were secured.  She gave Mila a toothy smile and gave her a couple of light taps on the head, as if to say 'good girl'  Then making sure the Dusters were freed of weapons and coms would search the place incase of hidden persons.  On her own comm she called "Room clear"
