Lizzy nods at Stefi and says,Okay let's try this, i will go slow. Lizzy will try and sit up with Stefi's help. Once sitting up she will then slowly spin her legs  over the edge of the bed.

 Once in this position she will stop wait for a minute and then she will try and stand from the bed. Lizzy went slow and then tried to stand holding onto Stefi.

”Don’t threaten me Shadow, or I will show you exactly how far something can be misconstrued” Izzy said in a cool voice, with it clear that she was going off the LC and his cronies in a big way. She would continue to watch the screens as the Quarl ship was engaged and subsequently destroyed.

Her opinion of the crew wasn’t improved by Garrat making a show of switching off his helmet cam, causing Izzy to roll her eyes at his blatant and ultimately futile attempt to make an alibi for himself. After all it wasn’t like he had done anything illegal so why bother?

With the operation coming to an end she would shake Admiral Hack’s hand and return his smile, although hers was perhaps a little forced, before watching in interest as Macon was seemingly let off the hook and given a shuttle to leave on. What did surprise her was when the colonel asked her to come with him. Putting aside the fact that he was an alleged traitor she had no desire to meet Lady V and the EDT, or at least not in person and on her own ”Sorry Colonel, but I’ve worked too hard and sacrificed too much to get this position to give it up now”

 Sam wishes the enemy Sloop get destroyed she will report this and then basically the operation was complete. Sam was impressed very few got injured but some list their lives. She would smile and shake the Admirals hand, then she would start powering down her screens when the order was given to secure.

 Once that was done she smiled at everyone then said to Sarah, Captain Ma'am operation complete enemy Sloop destroyed, great job Captain, do you have anything else for me Captain.

 Once Sam is dismissed she would hug Beth and Orria and say,Great job thank you I learned a lot again. It has been. pleasure working with you both.

 Sam would then head over to Howe, So Lt. what do you have planned I guess shore leave has been extended Sam would,also smile at Izzy.

"Well done Chill Grip, you may return to your station. Continue all previous orders." Sarah says over the comms.

When the Admiral comes around she accepts his hand shake. We're in good hands now thank you Admiral.

Finding McFust, she waves SGM McDoona over who'd just returned from the portion of the op he'd been on. "LT McFust, SGM McDoona. I'd like you two to meet formally. I've tapped the SGM to run Delta ops for the Burian Fleet. However since we'll be roaming the sector and working both on and off Bura, LT McFust I'd like you to serve as CO of the Delta Nights program in the entire sector and be based on the planet with Admiral Hack's and the High Chairman's blessing.

There's a lot to clean up here, as well as training new teams of Burians how to operate. So I suspect you'll have your hands busy if you accept this."

She smiles at Sam, "The only thing I have for you right now is to enjoy your leave. Once the fleet departs we are going to be very busy. If I have need of you I'll send a comm. Good work today Sam."

   Issy declined the invite. Macon looked at her like he was confused,..I thought.. you were like us?... That you'd want to  help Expose the Fleet... and the Admiral... and ..others..  he glared at Shadow   who just grinned at him.

 Macon    gave  McFust a dark look.. the  two LTs  were  confused ( crushed?) by the  CO's  turn-of coat.

 The fellow  left with two Burian guards... One of the Guards  Comedy back... the traitor doesn't  want to use the shuttle  the MAster Chief  Prepped...

 Lyri just  shrugged..HAck said, He may take  which ever he wishes..

 moments later the   garage  CAm showed a Burian Shuttle  taking off  and  Zipping into the  Air from the outside CAMs

 Lyri and Hemsly came up  they had  a few  dozen 'Hemsly Biskets" and   a bag full of tracers... each shuttle  had  two tracers  to be found... one really easy..one sorta hard... the real tracers   are  under the  Pilot's  section  and   one on the back of the ramp... he can't see the outside ones?... and good  bet when he lands no one will see the ramp tracer , unless the ramp closes  with  someone right out side.

 we are Giving Macon  about  18 hours head start... he should be closing in  Fuji by then.. If he   lands on Fuji..we will take him into  custody and finish him off..... but?... If  he goes to the asteroid  Field to get to LAdy V.... we might just have an answer  for that  puzzle   they have..

You take one, and  open it with  those   you served with... if there are  Creds.. split it  up among your  group... go enjoy  the rest of your shore Leave....  .Lt Hirr  shrugs  and keeps one of hers, pointing  with her claw to the stack of others...her   people   add theirs to the pile.

 Shadow  walked to the elevator.. his  jacket on, the Bloody tunic thrown away after  Cutting off  his rank and name.  Larry  followed slowly..his head  down a bit.

 Shade bleeped a few  times and Shadow said.. ..yeah..go ahead.. me and   Larry will get something to eat, and  then you can find me in the Library..

 Shade gives a thumbs up  , moving to  Lilit  and Dusk, to go with them to the   Town.

 Nina approaches   Sarah as well. Captain?  This was more or less my training, outing... Grogo has a way to go yet..but i think we   could be  of aid to Bura..if you would  want  a paired Unit.

 Sam smiles at Sarah and says," Thank you Captain, and I will go enjoy myself tonight and tomorrow until you send a Comm Captain, or when the Fleet leaves at 10:00 Captain." Sam saluted her Captain which she had a lot of respect for, then she smiled and headed over to Howe.

 Sam really smiles at Howe and responds saying," Well that all sounds great Lt., a shower sounds really good, and definitely hot food and some good cold drinks. Oh well we can go to bed but you will not get any rest though." She gives Howe a seductive smile and a wink and then said," Come on Howe I still don't have a room yet I need to go to your room to get my stuff."

 Sam smiles at everyone else and then says to Izzy," Shore Leave has been extended would love to hang out and maybe do more shopping tomorrow, could really use one of those suitcases if it has credits." She smiles at laughs and then nods to Izzy as she takes Howe on her arm as they head towards Howe's room.

 Lizzy tries to smile at Stefi and she says," Yes Ma'am I will be as careful as I can for 6 hours, and I would not want that , it hurts enough as it is Doc." Lizzy tries to stand as careful as she could and then she will look around to see who is here and if Karl had come in yet.

 Lizzy wants to walk to the nearest chair and sit down, " Ma'am could you help me to the chair and I will wait for someone to help me to my room." Lizzy was still under the effects of the morphine and it made her very wobbly at best.

    “Sokura, You know what happened the last time I tried to talk sense to the EDT?”

 Garrett turns to hack,  “Admiral,  do the people on Midgard still have a game called billiards?“

   "Asteroids can work just like billiard balls on a three dimensional plain.  We actually have a game back in Asgard about that.  Anyway, asteroids are already on the move in relationship to the gravity fields that govern their flight, throw an extra stone or two in the mix and you can alter access to an asteroid field as well as rip things up within it, and it usually only takes a nudge to have a planet killer do your break for you.  Then you just follow it in, clean up, and follow it out before the secondary collisions make a mess of things.  That's how we used to take out the sun devourers before they got smart."

 Lizzy gets to the chair, it isn't too bad but the drugs are making it hard to walk right. She makes it to the chair smiles and says," I will Doc, and thank you for everything, I will take it very easy Doc LC fears you I will do my best Doc." Lizzy smiled at her as she left.

 Lizzy would look around and see who was still here and who has showed up, she was waiting to see Karl, or any volunteers to help her to her room.

"Ma'am, Do you know what happened the last time I tried to talk sense to the EDT Ma'am!" Isobel snapped, directing the pent up anger and resentment generated by Shadow at Garrat despite the fact that the man towered over her "...That is the correct term of address for a superior officer is it not sergeant? And no, I do not know, nor do I wish to know, but I will say this...An EDT traitor has shown me more courtesy and civility than anyone from the Hermes has, now if you will excuse me sergeant I have somewhere else to be...oh and from now on I expect you to refer to me as either Ensign Sakura or ma'am" she said, deciding that if he was going to insist on calling her by her last name then he could refer to her by her rank as well.

Storming out of the ops room Izzy would snap her fingers twice in order to summon Tali with her managing to keep the angry tears from her eyes until she was out of the room and heading towards the library. Once there she would find a quiet corner where she could sit and read a book in peace, pondering Macon's final words to her.

Despite Lizzy's repeated insistence that it was not her fault Harry would still give her a rather guilty look, especially as she watched Stefi helping her across the room so that she could sit down with the morphine seemingly hitting her hard "Look Lizzy, Why don't I get Will and we'll help you to your room...it's not like we're going to be doing much tonight" Harry offered, not really feeling in the mood for anything more than a cuddle.

Pausing to watch as the tiny reporter seemingly blew her top at Garrat of all people she would wait until she had flounced out of the room before quietly saying "wow...who nicked her happy meal" before turning back to Lizzy with a smile "So what do you say? Would you like me and Will to help you back to your room...or are you waiting for a certain somebody to come to your rescue?"

 Lizzy sees Harry giving her a guilty look, Lizzy had to let her know it was her call, Lizzy is the one that decided to go, she knew the risks, she knew the dangers of going down to help Melia but that is what we do being a family on the Hermes she thought to herself. Lizzy felt the morphine but she was trying to get it under control.

 Lizzy smiled at Harry," Oh Harry I thought you where heading back for fun, are you sure, I don't even know where my room is I have been staying with Karl." Lizzy was doing good, between the pain of the injury and the morphine she was a little out of it. Honestly Lizzy was afraid to go with Harry she was afraid she would want to attack Harry in her state and reopen her wounds and Stefi will kill her. Then the reporter blew up towards Garrat, Lizzy had no clue she couldn't hear the prior conversations, she replied to Harry, " Not sure she needs good drugs like me."

 When Harry mentions waiting for someone, of course she was waiting for Karl to return. She did need her rest and if she did stay with him she would try and do something and hurt herself. Lizzy would then give Harry a genuine smile, Lizzy had to decide between alone with Karl, or with Harry and Will taking her to her room, she made her decision and said to Harry," Yes I would like that Harry, I was waiting for Karl of course but he was out chasing bad guys. Can you make sure he finds out what happened to me and I am heading to my room, I guess maybe tell someone who will see Karl when he comes back."

 She would then reach her hand up to Harry and say," Thank you Harry, remember this is not your fault, shall we get me too bed and resting up. Oh I wonder if I can take a shower?"

 Sam smiled Howe said let's go, then Izzy didn't hear her comment and blew up at a  Garrat who was so nice to her earlier when she had her flashback.
She would ahve to find Izzy tomorrow and talk with her.

 She then turned to Howe, gave him a passionate,seductive, and powerful kiss and then said," Oh yes Lt. lets go and get cleaned up." Sam would follow Howe to the Palace rooms.

Roy returned from the tower, opting to head straight to the war room to check in.  "Admiral," he said, greeting Hack and nodding acknowledgement to the other brass in the room.

"The Burians are finishing the sweep of the tower...I heard Captain Nilsson bagged the shuttle...how'd we do everwhere else?"

Jug  raised what would be an eyebrow at Shadow.  She was not going to challenge him, but did correct him that instead of the Doctor, he should talk to her instead.  Many think the Gava were fairly ignorant, but with a little practice, they were not.  They did often use that illusion to their advantage.  Still for now until they were needed they stuck with the doctor and others.  she did mention the 2 they took prisoner earlier and tied up, atleast they would not be forgotten.

  Hack   had a Wry smile,well...... Shadow got hit  by an AP  round when he  moved the shuttle..he tried to   foam it himself.. but   Stefi saw the  leakage.... The  New Pilot. MAris.... She  got  shot up in the tower... didn't have  even light boarding armor on?   Have to speak to the LC  about that... new pilots  are only supposed to be drivers the first couple times out.

 ..SGT Garrat lost one of the Kid who were in  refurbished  Mechs.. and  Jug lost a Gava  in the caves.

 .... we let MAcon take a shuttle  and Run... he tried to get that new  reporter to go with him.. I am quite surpised she didn't... she seems... well... not to like   us too well..and, in a way, praised  Macon?.. we;ll have to see.

 Larry followed Shadow up to get  food and go to the Library... The LArg took a beating.. but seems  rather  well, considering...

 ..The Good  part?.. the Mansion was  emptied   and we  have alot of fund from there.. gave most of it to the Burians.... The warehouse  was a  blind to lure Shadow in... but, they never counted  on cowardness.. and  the  people who thought they were going to escape  Via a tunnel.. were blown up.. the  rest  Lt Hirr's Felrites  and out new Burian  unit   hunted down

 ..The Tower  is in the Burians HAnds  now..  we cleaned out  most of the heavy hitters.... KArl said  2  Bodies  fell from the shuttle... The Vids... yhou can look it up on a vidboard.. showed  a  Main and a suitcase  falling from the front half.. and a woman who was handguff to the gunrack rails   falling   with the rear..her uniform looked EDT..And..  Karl also   wounded the  Sloop enough  for the  Chill Grip to finish off

 mu concern now  are there 'Dusters'.. they  seem, pruebred mercs…but there was a damn lot of them

Roy nodded as he listened to the update.  "Have we let any of our civvies down on the planet yet?  There were a bunch of the Dusters scattered in with them on at least one ship...Rutledge found out about them, gave me a heads-up that they could be trouble while we were still en route to Bura.  If they're still up there, I say we let them get in shuttles to come down with everyone else and then have Security grab them at the landing sites before they get a chance to disappear into the underbrush down here.  It's either that, or sweep them all up off the ships before they can get on the shuttles, but if they get word that we're rounding them up, we could wind up with sabotage situations.  I'd rather let them think they're coming to the planet safely and then bag them."

He shrugged.  "I knew about Larry...someone had to stick around to let the Burians know what was going on, or I'd have come back then...but I already knew Shade and Shadow were coming back with him.  And I'm still trying to figure out what to make of that reporter...she's a spitfire, and I like that about her...just had so damned many bad experiences with reporters that it's hard not to see all of them every time she steps into the room."  And he shook his head..."I kinda figured Macon was selling us out.  I mean, damn near everyone we meet who hates Shadow ends up being a turncoat, so I was already suspicious...but when I heard that bullshit story that we'd leave the tower alone until after everyone had run to it, I knew something was wrong.  A buck private fresh out of boot camp could see the tactical flaw in that one..."

He sighed and added, "Good to hear our casualties were light.  Lighter would have been better, but considering what we had stacked against us, we did really well.  The lady in the shuttle was an EDT sergeant...she was the only one smart enough to surrender, although if she'd waited any longer, she'd have been a larg treat.  But she gave us good intel, once she surrendered...saved us a lot of time trying to find a way upstairs that didn't exist.  If she hadn't, there's a good chance we could have lost Melia's entire team before we got up there to reinforce them.  And Howe deserves a commendation...he got that shuttle down on the deck to give the EDT something to worry about besides our team upstairs."

He shook his head again.  "A lot of near-misses and lucky breaks on this one.  We came damned close to losing a lot more people."

   Garrat's eye's go flat.



"That makes sense."</Aqua>  He interjected into her tirade "He didn't care about when innocent people or freinds of mine died either, and he also felt his rank made him superior to other people so he didn't have to care about them when they tried to show him the truth."



   Any one who really knew Garrat would know he held his tongue, but the press girl wasn't used to this.



    After Izzy stormed out, Garrat walked over to Stephi, and placed the scalpel next to her other tools of the trade. "Good tool.  Almost found a different use for that.  Not something I like to do to a sentient being, but I don't know if you can call him a sentient being as self serving as he was." 

    there  was a nod  as  hack motioned to the table   for  Roy to get a  coffee, water  or  soda. He  drank from his own fresh cup.

  Beth?... send COMs out to all fleet vessels.. to make sure  all Civies are getting  planet side  time... mark  this  for the commanders... All Duster s  should be  ..'encouraged'  to  come  down to the planet

 Aye  Sir  , Already done. Admiral  I have  a Vid Call from The Burian officer  of  the    assault  shuttles going into the area where the shuttle  went down..they spotted the burning halves .. they are searching  for   Bodies..  according  to  the Chill Grip, what was left of the sloop is  scattered  about 500  miles  from here... They  sent in Burian Gypsies  to gather  and find  what they can... 

 ..Thank You Beth.. You and Orria  should go  relax  and get somethign to eat... anything esle the happens can be funnled  through to CAptain  McKeon or  myself.

 turning back to Roy,  I think the  EDT..or maybe even the Empire, might be taping into   people who don't have much reason to like Shadow. Lets  face it.. his the cover boy..something happens to him , we'll have to crown another one...Maybe  a Sniper  SGT MAJ... Macon..Depending on what he does.. might be able to make things a bit  easier  for us..if not?.. well.. he'll never know how the  war turns out.

 ..I hear the Kitchen is taking orders  for us... and the airfield and town  will be  'open ' all night...go..unwind , Roy , there's  still some shore leave left.

Melia takes a bundle of dusters (the clothing item not people) off the back of the hover bike she'd been using. Wrapping them in paper she grabs an orderly and instructs them to be delivered to her quarters on the Hermes and to leave the package unmarked.

She has some ideas to "bolster" the garmets, give them a bit more armor and possible create a co-opted line of the dusters done up with ESN accents, perhaps for the lights out organization or other ESN special operations. It was an idea worth playing with, after all sometimes the best innovations on the battlefield were to simply steal what enemy was doing make it better and turn it against them.

With the wrist band for the hover bike returned to the QMs Melia notices Zob headed outside and slips out after him. "Mind if I join?" she asks quietly and casually.
