Poor Izzy I don't even think I had it equally as rough when I first joined and I'm a demon on the delta fleets capital ship.

Well, in fairness, when you first joined, you were stuck in a brig and every time you got out, you had someone assigned to gun you down at the first sign of trouble, so there wasn't really much question of where you stood...it was pretty clear.

That said, Izzy really isn't doing herself any favors.  She's ignored pretty much every piece of constructive advice she's been given...

It's kind of hard to make any kind of an impression when two of the characters flounce off before she's even had chance to speak to them. And most of the advice boils down to "No one likes you so don't pick a fight" which again is kind of tricky when nearly everyone she meets is on the offensive from the get go...needless to say she's feeling a touch over sensitive at the moment.

Maybe she needs a dose of Lizzy drinking wine...lol

 funny thing concerning the posts?... in the early years i was thinking of  giving people  points   for 'X' amount of   IC posts..but? that wouldn't work, because  some OOC posts deal with the GAme.

 2nd of all? some OOC posts  became a bounding thing( which surprised me, ebcause   hardly  any of   the other games  are in have that kind of thing...'cliques ' for sure. But  nothing like  we have here.

 Then Justin pointe dout once, that there was a stream of  ' Shadow posts' and he wondered if I was trying to  'level him up'

 After laughing at him( in PMs) I said, there are 1000's of  'shadow posts' that don't get tagged for Shadow, ebcause  there are other PCs  I label the post..or sue the  area  to label it ( Hanger Dec, rec Dec  ect..)..most time if I use Shadow, its because he's the only one there , I shoudl use  some of those  for Shade, but  I just use Shadow  cause his  name's  first on the pulls down Menu  for me.

 now?... making posts  is great!..it  proves you are in the game, and that you are active. use that as your own gauge  to see how yuou are doing..but there isn't a way to  award  some one, with out pusnishing  Folks  who cannot post  as much when RL hits  them.

Getting caught up from the weekend.

It was a wild one. In a week my wife and I are moving to Virginia so we've spent the last several days going through the house we are renting to clean out the rooms sorting items that we are taking with us and items the movers are taking. Only have 3 rooms left to do tomorrow to complete the prep work and to load up my wife's car with stuff, and a test run on packing my car so we can be sure everything will fit before the movers get here.

That's on top of going a seeing all our friends one last time ect. has kept me super busy. I'm doing my best to stay active, but as we all know IRL will come first. After the movers come on wednesday I should have a bit more time to post.

Granted on Monday and Tuesday of next week I'll be on the road driving 3 of our 4 cats and a load of belongings to Va.

Now to get caught up.

I'm working on a long post for Sarah... It's going to take a bit longer to write out. Hopefully I'll have it up later this evening.

Ugh...you have my sincerest sympathies.  I loathe packing and unpacking.  It's one of the reasons I'm still in the same apartment sixteen years later, even though rent has gone up almost $250 in that time (the other reason is, I absolutely love my neighborhood and have yet to come across an affordable option to relocate somewhere within a few blocks of where I currently live.  I bounced around for a few years after I moved away from home, and everywhere I lived felt like a compromise...someplace to stay for a little while...until I moved there.  And the apartment, itself, doesn't feel like home...too small and not enough space for me to really work on anything comfortably...but I definitely feel like the area I'm in is 'home' and that I belong there.)
