Justin rolled his eyes at LC's reaction to Steele's no show. Shadow's directive to the flight leaders was clear enough, and Justin didn't want to cause Gia any problems. When the flight crews started to form up Justin slipped out of his cover quickly joining the end of C Flight.

Madison started a line for B flight.

 It seems some  Pilots   were sing their COMs   to warn their Buddies. Shadow  pretended  not to see...

     Shadow called  SEC  to send  two armed  troopers up to the  Field, then he  pointes to  the tiny press box  and  had  Coach Post  hit the game  clock..it was  coming   down  from   10 Minutes.

  Shadow Looked over the other  pilots  as they scattered to their  lines. This  is a new  Time, My friends... depending on where  we  end  up.. ypu're wither goign to need Endurance, or will power  to survive  if you POD out

  Nagy and  Lipon  arrives  in the 'on duty armor ' and  Pulse  rifles.  Nagy  called out  ofter salutin from the   field  entrance  to the Ramp..LC?.....

 Shadow pointed to the clock...when that clock reaches   all zeros...and  one not  PASSED..that red line at the bottom of the ramp.. you sit them down in a section of the Bleachers...If they  give you a problem... use  you  stun batons..

But   out of those   4... only  Roussa  is somewhat  'safe' to  POD out on... Vera?  they don't like Meat puppets...even the ones  who are on our side   view us  as 'lower lifeforms"....Vanpra .. is dark most of the time,, the  sun doesn't warm the place  to much...and The Vampics  live off the Blood  of  other creatures... Near, but not on field yet.  Nikki looked to how Shadow was dressed as she walked Haley to school.  She watched others starting to gather and their dress.  after dropping Haley off she headed back to her quarters in a fast pace.  returning she was dressed similar to Shadow.  Just in case she brought her gear...after all it was possible she might fail and have to run the tunnel again.

  Shadow Looked at the  Clock, 5 more  pilots   ran down  and onto the field.  The    clock  shower   40 second s and counting..and Shadow showed more annoyance  with  each tick

The  4  Angel pilots  didn't  show... Steele  came jogged  down  but was barred from   stepping on the field.. Brock More...Dennis Nole...and Grady Forbes.

  Shadow lookd over   the  Pilots who were barred from the field., he opened his  COM...Beth? have   armed troopers  find the  4   Angel transfer Pilots.. have them escorted  up to the Tunnels

Nikki looked about as she was on the field.  She so far did not see anyone else from her flight.  After his speech she understood what was going on.. somewhat. she said nothing but watched what was going on with careful scutiny.

Billie came running in, throwing several colorful expletives as she finished pulling her hair back into a ponytail. Seeing everyone that was already there caused her stomach to drop, her gaze looking for Machins and trying to figure out what in the hells was going on. But there was one thing that made it all worse...she was going to have to run the tunnels...that dread was clear on her face.

Whilst waiting in line Justin recalled his clash with the skirt wearing ass. who hadn't recanted or apologised; compelled Justin to suppress the impulse to spit on the field in disgust.

After a few moments Nikki finally found Fitz-Simmons and most of the rest of her flight.  She fell in sync then.

    Lt  Hirr  pointed to the things in the Obstacles.

 you will be  jumping over the hurdle at the 5....you  will dive and crawl under the  tunnel  at the 10 to the  20...you will run  and  leap of  the next hurdle at the   30.. Then you  run through 'ladders' on ground  at 40 to the   50... Then  You  dive  into next tunnel at 0ther  40... then  jump over hurdle  at the 30 to the   20...  you  Hit the   Dummy  and  sprint off the  field.. You then   turn left..  run around the
  track, clockwise ...and   Go up ramp to  recdec.... LC?

 He looked over  the  group when you  reach the top of the   ramp  You have to  make your way to the hanger  dec, and  run to your   aircraft  het your helmet on and   buckle in... Ground crew people are already   standing On aircraft wings..  they  will Mark the  aircraft  and close the cockpit.

  When  Chef  Post   fired  his starter  pistols, the Flight  leaders   took of.. He-la, Shadow, Ariv and Foster   were  better then the Other..Raven was swearing he r way through the   tasks..

 Passing He-la , Shadow  made it to the top of the ramp  first...and stopped  , cheering   ...urging his flight on.. he-ls   ran past, as  did  foster.  Ariv  never  even notcied.

From the top of the stands, Roy glanced down, noting that the number of pilots on the field didn't account for everyone...he'd just missed the group being marched off to the tunnels, but he'd heard about the assignment, and gave a nod as he contemplated how that fit the missing personnel.  There was also, of course, the fact that they weren't at full wing strength...

He gave a shrug.  He'd run the drunk troopers just hours after they got back aboard the Hermes, and then run Estes until the man's legs could hardly hold him up.  Both had been over failure to perform up to expectations.  If Shadow felt the pilots warranted extra work, he wasn't going to argue.

He commed the Watch Officer.  "When you figure out where those four Angels are, get them down to the Tunnels  ASAP.  Not sure what inspired Shadow's bout with them...but it's best to make sure they get as much of it as we can finagle."/  With one more glance down at the field, he walked away, ready to help round up the recalcitrant Angles.

Justin waited for his start then followed the requirements Lt Hirr had informed. Moving with a study controlled gate, weaving, ducking, jumping and crawling as required.

 down, they are up in the tunnels  now, Nagy and Lippon  took them up.. My  people are taking the  missing Angels up as  we  speak... seems they
 where  on the Rec Dec, having  a drink, Luke  said  they didn't think they needed to be there, since they were only pol pilots and only had  pool aircraft... I can't wait until the LC hears that...might be better  just to shoot  them now?

     the   pilots  ran up the ramp,  B flight   was gathering around Shadow..instead of  running to the lifts.. the Lifts.. could  hold 8 people  at a time

At the order to go, Madison bolted off the line, jumping the first hurdle like it was old Jethro Pucket's fence. As soon as her feet hit the ground, she took two strides then dove for the tunnel. Elbow, knee, elbow, knee, she low crawled through until she was able to stand at the 20yard line. Popping up she got a good head of steam going making it easier to vault over the hurdle and keep going to dance her way through the ladders. Ten yards later she dove into the next tunnel. Elbow, knee, elbow, knee, for 10 more, then up to jump over the next hurdle. At last she got to the dummy, crashing into it and bouncing off to sprint off the field to the track. After running her lap she headed up the ramp, grabbing Kray's arm to ring herself to a stop.

"Well...." Madison huffed out between labored breaths. She was winded but smiling "That was fun. Aren't we going to the planes?"

   Shadow smiled..  Flores  was on her  way up the Ramp..Kat was strugling   but faster then a few others.  Caesy  was  Lagging..  Floes  was  yelling  at him as she reached the Top.. Machins  was Just passing Casey and  4 other Pilots.

The first   load of   pilots  went down  Foster   went in the first group with scattered pilots..

 Fitz   and  Howe  were laboring up the  ramp

He-La  and   Air  were    urging their  People  Ravems      group s  was  Jostling with other Pilots  to   try to be  by the  Door..a few  fists were thrown..The SEC, Tropers  looked the other  way.

 Gia  was   gasping   as she  neared the bottom of the  ramp,,yellign for her   flight  to  pass her  and get to the lifts!

 Brivet   punched Out  Bobbie Cron wall as he   tried to Pull her away from her potion at the   doors.

Beit of the felrites   was  rolign  on the Ground with Higgins  as the  Pummeled  each other...again The SEC troopers didn't seem to notice.

Kat came  up. the Ramp she was the  last of Shadow's  people  who were there.why....are...we... waiting?

 we have us altogether... we wait  for the Lift doors to open...

Nikki bid her time until she had to hit the course.  She watched to learn from others mistakes.  Only advantage she had was being a high school track and fielder, and that was a while ago.  she started leg stretches, looked like they were going off by flights. Shr also noted the pile ups at the lifts and in her mind ran through alternatives.  stairs or ladders? Maybe. where were they? she thought.

This was a very different kind of competitive training. Madison was one of the first back, and could have been in her Skeeter already but for Kray having a different plan to his own game. He said to wait for his command, so when the doors started to open and the other pilots fought for position, she waited. By his command only.

Nikki still held.  she was strategizing, how best to get through, instead of this being a race, she'd work 'this as ship will die if I don't get my ass in gear'. that the punch dummy was an intruder, take him out.  lifts blocked ...find a way.  can't save Hermes, can't save Haley...if you don't get to your skeeter. she looked about one more time.

  As the Surge   went towards the O0pening  Doors ,  Shadow  Hiised...Follow  me!

 he Took off...for the stern!.. Kat didn't wait , she ran after, Flroes    started to   run..rolled her  eyes  , reaching Back to  grab Casey,..Machins eyebrow  went up and he grinned as re  folowed.m as  fast  as they   could

  There were   Already a few   Pilots  on the   Dec. the Hyrian  Pilot  was   snarling  trying to get into the  Lift, but the   doors  closed.

At 'go' Nikki let loose making the first obstacle easy with a roll-dive for the crawl.  slipping easily through to the other obstacles.  she did not watch the others unless there was too much 'bumping'.  she worked expediantly to reach the punch dummy and lap run (counter clockwise).  In the lap she grabbed her gear especially her helmet. that slowed her some, but she was still fast enough to get a good spot.  It did not pass her notice that Shadow had other plans to get to the hangar dec.  Damn nearly the exact same as she was thinking. she put a few sections of armor on as she could. she kept running, seemed like the only one she could not catch was Shadow himself.

 I sorta  got Tricked  by Larry and Freddie..but its Good, I lie the Largs... Thumps of the tails  hitting the  turf... it took the  a  few minutes to sent up   an Obstacle  Course.. they   had to   run around  tackling Dummies, and  go through a  tunnel that Marines used, they up over  a wall, once they reached the  End  Zone they had  to run  3 laps around the field ( which, admittedly was a Joke, but at least they got to run)

  Shadow    had  two go at once.. it  was fun to watch them  fight their  way through the tunnel  and Over the wall.

  Shadowed  Told  Roll and   Puskie..They need  work on how to use  Ladders?  they have   6 legs.. they should  be able to climb  a ladder.

  Shadow sat  down on one  of the football benches, as the largs  scampered around, Larry and Freddie  kept them Moving  Rex   Kept trying to  step up, but larry would  snarl and  Rex  would  back off
