"What a maroon" she said then lightly clamping on Harry shoulder then went back to Haley an Roll.  She was not sure Roll was there as he may have decided to go with Jax and Sneak.

 Roll had  Gone off  with  Jax  to get his stuff ready for the Run tomorrow. He  had his football with him and  followed  Jax, Sneak would meet them at  the palce she was staying , and Roll would sleep there, well Jax  went to his quarters

 The  rec dec  was gettign empty now, Larry opted  to  follow Roy

Melia let the outnumbered Machins go, "pretty sure whatever bird he's in suffers from a critical ID-10T error." she grumbles heading back to the table and grabbing her ball. It was getting late Orria was fed there was a run in the morning.

She gathered up her things, "we're gonna head back. Coming with?" she asked Zob

 Meari smiles at Harry and just stares down to Machins as he stumbles off, she wanted to say so much more to  him but he wasnt worth it in her book. She said to Harry after everything was settled down," Like I said if you have some down time we can do some training with the knives if you wish Ens. Lynch. Good night and I hope Will feels better and recovers quickly."

With her fist connecting with Machin’s jaw in a solid blow, Harry had the brief satisfaction of watching the asshole being knocked from his chair before he inevitably called for SEC. After giving the new guy a look that said that he needed to relax as she had no intention of taking things any further, she would watch as the Captain was thoroughly reprimanded for being drunk and falling over by most of the remaining people on the dec, with Roy quite rightly pointing out that she would have been a lot worse had she been drunk.

With Machins making a rather ignominious exit, Harry would visibly wince at his parting shot of her being The easiest target before sitting back down with a hurt look on her face. Her cup of tea no longer seeming strong enough to deal with the way she was feeling ”yeah... I could done without that” she quietly responded to Gia before offering Nikki a bit of a smile, though it was clear that she really wasn’t feeling it.

Sipping her tea she would nod her head in agreement as Meari once again made her offer for them to train together ”sure, I’ll drop you a line if I get a little free time” she said before watching her and most of the others drifting away now that there was no more excitement to be had, leaving Harry alone with her thoughts.

As Simms moved to leave, Roy waved him over.  "Make sure he goes back to his quarters.  If he starts anything, with anyone who looks even remotely unwilling to deal with him, I want him in detention immediately...even if he has to 'fall down' a few more times on the way there."  His voice was low, but urgent.  He'd give Machins the chance to get back to his quarters...SEC didn't just go around busting everyone who got drunk, especially not right after the past couple of days they'd had...but if they seemed determined to be out in public...or if, like had happened with Harry, they'd been ordered to avoid drinking by Stefi...well, then, he'd gladly have his people intercede.  But where he'd been willing to sit on Harry's detention and keep it off the books, Machins had been belligerent to pretty much everyone aboard the Hermes from his first day on deck...and that was enough for Roy to cut very little slack on recording incidents involving breaches of discipline.  The fact that Machins was visibly in no condition to fly and they could, theoretically, be mustered to battle stations at any moment already verged on dereliction of duty, so the Captain was already using what slack Roy was willing to give.

He headed back over to the table.  "That tunnel run is coming up fast.  I'm going to call it a night."  He glanced down at Larry.

"You coming with me or heading back to Shadow's, or the lab?" he asked.  He trusted Larry to go to either on his own...but the larg was always welcome in his quarters, as well.

Whatever Larry's response, he gave the others a wave and set off to cash it in for the night.

 Meari nodded and said," That will be great Ens. Lynch and if that Captain bothers you anymore maybe I can get him to be our test dummy for training. I could also just snap him in half as well." Meari laughed and said," Ens. are you ok do you need someone to talk too, where are your friends, Ens. Rutledge, and the redhead Ens. O"Conner, if you need an ear Ens. I can sit and chat if you wish?"

  Larry  followed  Roy    as they left the rec dec.

  The   SEC Girls  and some of the pilots  filed towards the lifts.. it was time  for  sleep.

........ Sahde  waved to orria  and headed off to  his quarters  as well.

 Vaka picked up his box  and   Football  and   walked towards the lifts as  well

”No, I’ll be fine...I should probably be heading back anyway” Harry quietly responded to Meari, watching as several pilots and SEC personnel started filing away towards the lifts, having seemingly decided to call it a night ”Don’t worry, I don’t think he’ll be bothering me again...and if he does he’ll find out what happens to people that really get on my nerves” she continued as she finished her tea and got up to go home ”I’ll see you tomorrow in the tunnels...unless there’s a pack largs in there, in which case I’ll be doing my run around the field” she said before heading towards the lifts in order to go home.

 Meari nodded and said," Very well Ens. if you need to talk or just let off some steam give me a comm call, good night Ens., yes I will see you at the tunnel run. "  Meari watched Harry leave and then she saw Vaka heading for the lifts. She followed him and got into the lift with him," Hi Vaka they got you all set up with quarters? I am very glad you  decided to join the Hermes, cant wait to fight with you Vaka." Meari nodded and smiled at him.

 Tired  runners  came down to the rec  dec  at about  0800..  civies   and some crew were just leaving after having breakfast, to get to their  shift or watch

 Larry    sat  by Shadow's  table  thumping  his tail, the other largs   went  with  Henry  to the  area  by the SIMs  were there was more  room for them to lay around.

  Arnie sat down,better to  get  eats  and drinks now. Afterwards you go get cleaned up and  rest for your walk through

Henry ordered bacon and eggs for himself and some of the usual scraps for Mila and the largs. He waved to Larry.

"Do you want some food, Larry? Or are you OK over there?"

After a quick shower Harry had changed into her duty uniform, complete with candy pink bootlaces and Hamlet sitting within her top pocket, before venturing onto the rec dec where she would get herself the obligatory cooked breakfast and a cup of tea which she would take to an out of the way corner and start to eat. Later she decided she would head down to the field and using the mat she'd borrow from Teela would practice the steps for the Angel martial art she had begun to learn with her friend. It wasn't the same as having a proper instructor but it would keep her mind focused on other things if nothing else.

Taking a seat besides Arnie after setting her gear down, Billie smiled. "Yes, Sir." She was clearly teasing but it was also nice that he cared enough to say something. She ordered the typical breakfast foods, eggs, bacon and sausage, some toast, but made it a point to ask for a slightly larger portion of eggs and sausage. "So we have to dress up really fancy for this ball? I will let you know...I have never really worn a dress or done makeup or anything like that so this is going to be awkward." Noting Harry off by herself, Billie picked up her COMs unit and sent her a message. Everything okay?

   ..for the fancy party, Captain Si  takes   care of her ladies... she  uses her quarters of The Black's largest  walk-in closest... everyone gets to pick an Angel slik  dress, and she lets  them keep them... Frans  and Gia  work thier  make up  magic, do haris  and all that stuff.. i had to bring   some  drinks and stuff up there a couple times.. you have the Pros, who are used to it..and the first timers who never  did it... Some of those newer ladies?  it will be the first time they ever  touched Angel Silk, let alone  get to wear and keep one!

 Then he adds  sadly, as the  Waitress brought thier food,some of them might never wear  Angel Silk again.

 Shadow   came up after  helping take some gear  down to SEC.  he  sat  down   to order  eggs  and bacon  and toast  and a big pot of   coffee  with   a bowl of  sugar and   pitcher of Milk/

"Well I am  glad that I don't have to worry about it then because that is out of my area of expertise...and honestly, I am sure my parents would love to see me all dolled up," she chuckled, looking to her food that was brought to her. "My mom tried for years when I was older, to get me in a dress and all that fun stuff but she eventually gave up and accepted that I didn't like them. Ooh so does that mean you are going to dress up too?"

 Sam walked onto the Rec Dec, she knew Izzy and Lizzy would be a little bit, she didnt want to eat without them. She looked around to see who was there, she was no longer hiding her scars she showed them with pride she survived her ordeal. She headed for an open table, she only knew a few people and her Burian uniform did stick out. She took a seat and then ordered some coffee she asked for cream and sugar.

   Arnie  shrugs....if i'm invited..I'll have to wear  My Dress whites... Everest is always over the top.. Frenchies  and germans.. they like   to be fancy...

 Mitch would Come  Down... There was not  school because of  the ship comign into   Everest ... don't have  anything   to  do really..  we don't have any torpedo craft worth flying, they shipped them to the forge ships.. so I get to  be on  duty on the Hanger Dec around 1800..

 Roll  came  down , Sneak and  Jax  ahd to split, Kax  to  duty  and Sneak to work

 Vaka  had   found a table enar  Shadow's   but  was sitting by himself.. CE-Va  came over  to talk  witht eh  LC and those  at his table.

"Can't you just be my plus one or is that not how this works?" she chuckled between bites, much hungrier than she anticipated. "Sorry...not trying to be boorish...guess all of the physical activies are catcing up to me." There was a smirk as she recalled their 'snuggling,' blushing a bit.

Harry would quietly sit at her table eating a fried breakfast that would undo most of the hard work done in the tunnels, trying her best not to draw attention to herself. With her currently feeling only slightly higher than dirt she really didn’t want to cause any trouble or engage in small talk with any of the others, especially the new recruits who she viewed as casualties waiting to happen. To say that the comms message from Billie had took her by surprise was a bit of an understatement. Frowning at the message for a few moments she would eventually send one back saying ”I’ll be fine” not wanting to drag Billie away from her new man just to listen her moan. It wasn’t like she could do anything about it anyway.

I am here if you need. Not sure how you like to decompress or anything but I am down to spar or something later...still got the lime green crap running through my veins. Obviously need a bit of time to digest all this food though!. Of course Billie didn't want to leave Arnie but at the same token, she was Harry's wingman and as she had told Harry before, she had her back. Besides, Arnie and Shadow had pushed her to not isolate herself and, whether Harry considered her one or not, Billie thought of her as a friend.

Roy had taken some time to get out of his armor before coming to the Rec Deck.  He'd gotten up early enough to eat something light before the run, so unlike many, this wasn't the first meal of the day...but he also knew that if he didn't fill up now, his body had already burned off everything he'd eaten earlier, and then some.  A big meal would save him a lot of distraction later.  He made his way over to Shadow's table and took a seat, just in time to make a face as Ce-Va came over to start asking questions.

Nikki and Haley came down from their quarters after Nikki had to go wash and change.  She caught up with Mitch in the lift.  Her hair still a bit damp but in a single french braid off to the right.  Haley left her backpack and things there as Nikki was in off duty togs.  "....Actually lucked out with a day of only catch up work.  So thought I'd retouch my nose art.  Haley wants to go visit the farm and then the larg mom and pup" She had her guitar with her "Now I think I get 2 free drinks?"  she moved with mitch to go sit near Billie, Izzy, and Lizzy.  "Mornin'!" she said as she took a seat and Haley took another leaving room for Mitch as well she nodded to all including Arnie "Hey"
"Morning Ma'ams, Sirs" Haley said politely.  Once settled in Nikki ordered ham scrambled eggs with cheese and a  toasted white bagel and some fruit and 2 big iced teas.  Haley asked if she could get some grits with honey or syrup and bananas with a banana or an apple.  Haley was smiling away, making her look like a real heartbreakin' charmer.

Reading Billie’s second message, Harry would hesitate for a moment before writing a reply. Sure, she enjoyed nothing more than a good scrap but she also had great difficulty in drawing a line between simply sparring and trying to put someone in hospital ”perhaps you should take a closer look at Nikki’s face before challenging me to a sparring match, however I plan on heading down to the field once I’ve eaten” Harry sent back before continuing with her breakfast.
