Giles nodded to Lizzy,Yes Ma'am...but make sure she gets there.. Lt Simmons will check the  log ins to the quarters, and it will be  my fault if she doesn't get there...

 With that, he  guided the hover  chair to the doors  for  Nikki, Just as the  Elevators opened  , with Sneak and Haley.

Nic stepped out of the lift only to come to a stop at all the people around. Well seemed the hall was slightly crowded but at a quick glance Nikki looked like she got ground up, Harry was at least walking and Lizzy had looked like she had been about to pounce and changed her mind. His gaze moved between them all before giving the younger man a nod. "Looks like you are herding cats there," he said with a laugh before moving away from the lift and towards Harry.

  Giles Nodded, Aye, Sir. I was  to  get them to thier quarters, and then i have to report to the  rec dec, for the after party, I guess, in case poeple get punched out or  somehting...

They would have to make a brief stop on the way up to the officers dec when Harry had a brief dizzy spell but other than that the trip up was uneventful right up until they stepped out of the lift. Finding themselves being greeted by an excitable Lizzy, Harry would give poor Giles an amused look as he encountered one of Lizzy’s mood swings for the first time, before carefully giving Lizzy a one armed hug ”hey babe, good to see at least one of us is still in one piece” She said with Lizzy then volunteering to walk her home. It was as Harry was about to promise Giles that she would indeed go home as she slipped her good arm about Lizzy’s waist that Nic would arrive.

Feeling just a self conscious about him seeing her looking so pale and wearing medical scrubs, Harry would fight the urge to smooth out her hair as she shyly smiled as he came over to see her “Hey Nic, that was quite some fight wasn’t it?” She shyly said, knowing full well that her friends were now well aware of the fact that she liked him ”Lizzy was about to walk me home, would you like to join us?”

 Lizzy smiles at Giles and says," Yes Guardian Giles I will make sure she gets there dont worry."  Then Nic showed up and Lizzy had an idea but waited for Harry to respond, and then Giles said he was suppose to go to the Rec Dec for duty.

 After Harry and Lizzy hugged, Lizzy was being as gentle as she could and replied," Well yeah but we all know I am a little messed up in the head, but my fighter is shot up pretty bad though, I am just glad you two are going to be ok."

 Then Harry offered Nic to join them and Lizzy said her idea," Well Nic why dont you take Harry to her quarters and get her settled in, I am going to Help Nikki get settled in and talk with Haley. That also means Guardian Giles can head to the Rec Dec once he helps me get Nikki into bed." Lizzy winks at Harry after she says that smiling at Harry and Nic.

 Lizzy will then go to Haley and Nikki and help Giles get Nikki into her quarters and into bed.

Nic laughed at Giles response. "Your a good man to help them. But I think that you are not going to the Rec Dec to work. Not when I've seen how the other Guardians are. So when I get to the Rec Dec I'll buy you a drink when I get there."

He quirked a brow up at Lizzy's comment about being messed up in the head. Honestly, they probably all were with this war taking its toll. "I got a few holes in mine but nothing like you and the LC's. Or Nikky's. Not sure how in the hell I came out without a scratch in that scrum. It certainly was some fight," he said to Harry's comment. He shook his head and then smiled brightly at at the suggestion. "Sure I can get her to her quarters," he said to Lizzy then turned his attention to Harry, "And yes I would." His eyes met Harry's for a moment before he came over to take Harry's good side to help her.

"See you down on the Rec Dec then Lizzy?"

She would give Lizzy a bit of a funny look when she said that she was a little messed up with not really seeing it that way herself. Sure the redhead's moods could yo-yo around without warning but she was far from being a headcase "well, shot up or not I'm glad you're ok...this place wouldn't be the same without you" she said with a friendly smile.

After giving her friend a grateful look, she would smile as she traded Lizzy's slender waist for Nic's as he put a supporting arm around her and started walking her to her quarters "Thank you for walking me back, I must look a right mess" she softly said as they slowly walked down the corridor with her wearing a set of pale blue one size fits no one medical scrubs and slippers. Also although she hadn't seen herself recently considering how much blood she'd lost and the strength of the pain killers she was on she couldn't be looking particularly good right about now either.

Upon reaching her door, she would reluctantly remove her arm in order to awkwardly punch in the code so Nic could open the door and help her inside "I'd ask if you'd like to come in for a while, but I could do with a little help getting to my bedroom" she said with a weak chuckle as she tried not to trip over the overnight bag she'd thrown into her room this morning.

He gave Lizzy a nod and waved to the three before helping Harry down the hallway towards her quarters. "I was going to get my tablet from my quarters before heading down to the Rec Dec." He paused there a moment as if considering something. "Hmm? A mess? No...," he started, grinning at her. "You look like someone who did their best to repulse the enemy and took your hits. Hope you got the bastards." He was there as a steadying presence when she hit the code and then he nudged her bag out of the way so it didn't trip her up.

Nic didn't hesitate when he helped her to her bed, letting her hang on to him as she settled into the bed. "I guess the fighting was bad here wasn't it?" The answer was enough in how busy the Med Tech had been and the fact that Harry had gotten shot up too. "Do you want anything to eat or drink? Tea? Cookies?" Maybe a subject change was good because he certainly didn't want to talk about what had happened out there.

The battle had been rough but she had made it out relatively unscathed, to which she was thankful for. With a heavy sigh as she entered her room, Billie tossed her gear onto the floor beside the bed, intend on getting in a shower first. With that done, she changed into a light blue Hermes tanktop and a pair of tight, spandex style shorts with a bunch of brightly colored pineapples printed on them. Pulling back her hair, she slipped on a pair of skater type shoes and headed towards the observation dec to see if Arnie was there.

Nikki hugged Lizzy and all there "Glad you're safe and kicked ass out there." Eventually the clog began to clear out allowing others to pass through.  "Giles the chair staying with me?  Incase I have to go in the night?" as she was getting moved to her bed.  She kind of hated people fussing over her.  But as she was settling in Sneak and Haley came in and making sure not to hurt herself further she hugged them both.  "Thank you Sneak.  Missed you Punkin'"  wrapping her good arm about her and giving a her a kiss on the top of her head.  Haley looked a bit sad seeing Nikki so badly hurt.  They were soon joined by Lizzy "Hey wing woman, how'd you do with out me?"

Haley just sat wondering what she could do to help Nikki.  Did she need to do anything?

 Lizzy helped Nikki and then replied," I did pretty good, hooked up with Billie for a bit as well. If you need anything let me know ok. " Lizzy went over and hugged Haley.

 Lizzy will look at Nikki seriously," Do you need me too go get changed shower and come back and help you out?"

she thought about it "Well first thing on my mind is Haley.  Still early but I think her going to an after party would be nice.  I can't go without someone to bring her back." she smiled pleasingly at Lizzy "And my second is if I can some info on if Mitch is here or not.  If ya see him tell him kinda what happened and that I am stuck here for a bit.  and last some grilled cheese and fries with tomato soup in a drink cup and straw and a oil drum sized drink of iced tea...please" she looked at all of them with begging eyes.

"But....I don't wanna leave you alone....what if...something happens to you or the bad men come back?" she almost began to blubber.

With her good hand she wiped a tear and gave a soft smile "I know your worried, don't be Punkin'.  I want you to have some fun too.  And everyone there will protect you and Roll, and Can." she hugged her a bit more.

 Lizzy smiled and replied," Well let me go change ok Haley then I will come back and we can talk about it ok." Lizzy gave Nikki a careful hug and Haley a big hug. " Now Haley I need yo too watch after Nikki while I am gone can you do that for me?"

 After her talk with Haley Lizzy would then say," I will be right back ok you two." Lizzy then headed for her quarters. Lizzy got to her quarters got out of her armor finally, then took a shower.

”Hmm that sounds like a polite way of saying that I look a mess…and yeah I got most of the bastards” she replied with a bit of a smirk and a chuckle as they walked. Once they were inside her quarters Nic would help her into bed, with her taking a sitting position for the time being as she didn’t want to go to sleep quite yet but it was unlikely she would be going to the after party. When asked if she would like something to eat Harry would chuckle at his suggestions before smiling and nodding her head ”yes please, I haven’t eaten since this morning though I doubt you’ll find any cookies” she said figuring that it might stop her feeling so dizzy when she next stood up. She would then hesitate uncertainly for a moment or two before quietly asking “Will you sit with me for a bit please?”

Nic smiled at her as she agreed that she wanted something. He was about to walk away when she spoke again and he nodded. "Sure, I can do that." Of course he could sit for a little with her. He was in no rush to head to the Rec Dec just yet. Not till he was sure she was fine. "Harry... I am glad you are ok." He gave her another brief smile then went to find her kettle and a mug and what ever tea she liked.

It didn't take long to heat up the water for her and bring the tea back. "I think you don't go shopping much and the Rec Dec is where you eat. Do you want me to bring back something from there for you later? And I do have some cookies, but they are in my quarters though."

Izzy had smiled politely at the med techs parting comment but had otherwise left it up to Roy to make any form of response, after all he was more likely to spend time with Shadow than she was.

Returning to the home she shared with Lizzy, Izzy would sprinkle a little food into the fish tank, smiling as she watched the pair of brightly coloured fish swimming around, before stripping out of the rest of her armour and storing it in her locker along with her carbine. All the while she would hear the sound of running water in the background telling her that Lizzy was home and currently in the shower.

After carefully stripping out of her ruined envirosuit, which she tossed in the corner for disposal, and her underwear Izzy would silently enter their tiny en-suite bathroom and step into the shower cubicle. Before Lizzy had chance to say anything she would lean up and kiss her before putting arms around her and simply holding her as the water washed over her, clearly wanting the physical contact of a loved one after a long and draining day.

 Lizzy heard Izzy enter the bedroom, she was happy she was back in time for the After Party but they also had too make a stop at Nikki's, Lizzy hoped she would understand if they took Haley to the After Party.

 Lizzy was about to get out then Izzy walked in and gave her a kiss, and then hugged her. Lizzy knew she had a rough day everyone and it might get worse after looking at the people they lost. Lizzy held her tight then said in her bubbly tone," Hi gorgeous I see you made it in one piece I am so happy. Harry is in her quarters with Nic hopefully resting, Nikki and Haley are at their quarters. Would you like to come with me to see Nikki and Haley and we might be bringing Haley to the After Party, Nikki got beat up bad."

 Lizzy then saw Izzy's wound and was just happy Izzy seemed too be finding her place on the Hermes. Lizzy then let Izzy take her shower, she was careful with Izzy's injury. Lizzy's bruises where all healed and she was physically ok, but she was tired but she was still bubbly. Lizzy then went and put on a clean duty uniform, her boot knife(one eyed jack) and her sidearm. Once she was ready she waited for Izzy.

There was an embarrassed flush when Nic said he didn’t think she did much in the way of shopping and that she ate all of her meals on the rec dec, though he was kind enough to offer to bring her something ”Thank you, something sugary and really bad for me would be nice…also I’m not much of a cook…in fact I normally try not to spend a lot of time in here” she confessed, with Nic having already seen how bare and lacking in personality her quarters were. It was also pretty obvious that if you were after a domestic goddess then Harry most certainly wasn’t the girl for you.

After taking the cup of tea from him with a shy little smile and a thank you, she would carefully hutch up so as not to jar her shoulder and signal  for him to take a seat beside her on the bed ”so…do you always try and lure the ladies to your place with the promise of cookies?” Harry asked in a teasing voice before softly adding ”…also I’m really glad that you’re ok too”

Nic just smiled at that. "I know." Then he grinned. "If you had your way you'd probably be in my quarters instead," he teased her. And it was obvious that Nic wasn't looking for anything she wasn't willing to give. He settled down next to her on the bed when she patted it and chuckled at her question.

"Not always. Sometimes its for a promised cooked meal or occasionally entertainment. Gotta keep my rep up as a ladies man and all that." Which wasn't actually true but he was joking about it anyways. If anything, he hadn't let his gaze stray from Harry at all.

Then she spoke of her appreciation that he wasn't shot up or even dead and he gave a wry smile to that. "Believe me I am glad about that too. Had a go at a Vice Admiral and that worried me. But i guess he wasn't a Vice Admiral for his skill."

Nikki gave waves, gentle hugs, and cheeky winks as people wandered about and eventually going out to finish what they needed to do, see who they needed to see.
For a bit she sits up in bed hugging Haley.  Haley hugging back, happy she didn't lose Nikki."We're all doing okay, Punkin'.  I am gonna need help next day or two atleast.  So I want you to have fun with Lizzy and everyone" Haley leaned against Nikki on her good side, and whimpered just a bit.  "You are getting bigger and braver every day" Her good hand stroking her hair.  "I'll be right as rain in a few days...probably have to go run again too"

Harry would blush as Nic hit the nail on the head with his observation that she would have far preferred to be staying in his quarters than her own with her quickly replying to his comment in the hope that he wouldn’t notice…or at least not tease her over it ”oh so you’re a ladies man! And here I am wearing my sexiest lingerie” she said with a smile as she nestled in a little closer to him, hoping that he would take the hint as to what she was after.

At his mention of his duel with a vice admiral and how he hadn’t been as challenging as he’d thought he would be, Harry would give a lopsided shrug in response ”Not too surprising, the guy probably got all his kills as a lieutenant and hasn’t flown since making captain…though it does show how desperate they were…or arrogant” she replied unsure over which of the two was more likely.

She would tightly hold on to Lizzy enjoying the feel of her body against her own ”Sure I’ve no problem with us taking Haley to the Rec dec, I’m also ok with her stopping over if Nikki needs a break” Izzy softly said from where her head was nestled upon Lizzy’s chest. She would reluctantly release her hold on Lizzy in order to shower, with her then drying off and changing into a fresh set of clothes ready for them to go and visit Nikki.

Lizzy smiled and said,Thank you Izzy , Haley is awesome and Nikki could use the help. Lizzy then took Izzy's hand and left their quarters and headed to see Nikki and Haley.

 Lizzy buzzed, waited for someone to let them in, then went in smiling,Haley you ready to go to the Rec Dec Lizzy gave Haley  hug and then said to Nikki ,I will see if I can get your food sent from the Rec Dec ok Nikki.

Outside in the Hallway, voices were  becoming louder and more  frequent . The  excitement of   the party with the relief  of being alive to take  part was gripping   the  crew.

 Some of the officers had a limp, or a sling, or  a patch here and there. Most were pilots  , with , what ground troop officers there  were,  also sporting  patched  wounds.

He laughed at her joke and slipped his arm around her. "Is that what that is? I seem to recall this little number...," he smirked as he trailed off. "I honestly don't care what you have on Harry." He kissed her cheek and smiled afterwards. He really didn't care what she wore, that wasn't really what he was looking at.

At her response to the fight, he snorted. "The guy tried to ambush us with 20 other fighters. Everyone got chewed up a little. I got lucky. He entirely missed me and I was able to get a shot on him and must have hit something vital." Nic gave a shrug. Things happen. "So you want french toast, pancakes or a waffle?"
