"Oh yeah I didn't think about that..." Izzy said with genuine concern on her face as Lizzy mentioned them requiring double the closet space, as Izzy had a rather substantial wardrobe that would prove rather difficult for her to reduce in size "...I'm pretty sure we could manage to assemble a flat pack, couldn't we?" she continued knowing that her own DIY skills were pretty non-existent, or at least outside of the small amount of electronics she could do.

Walking hand in hand into the party she would shyly smile as Lizzy waved and exchanged small talk with the people she knew, with Izzy giving a quick nod of her head when asked if she was alright with this "sure...why wouldn't I be, I mean everyone knows about us anyway" she replied, though judging by how tightly she was holding Lizzy's hand she was still a little nervous over what the rest of the crew thought of her.

 Raven and Steele  came past  Lizzy  and   Izzy, Steele  gave them a  brief  wave, the  black haired   woman   just continued on..  , She was   trying to see  if  Shadow was  at the party, and..he , Roy and a few others  did  show up and were  getting food, Taking to Admiral Hennings

 Raven barely, gave a social nod to Born berry who, giggling. like a school  girl with  Roles.

 Dusk  noticed  that  Shadow was there, and detached herself  from the officer she was  dancing with  and  gave  Shadow an embarrassed wave   and  walked towards him  and the others.

 Shadow  just watched her   walking over  without  much of  a greeting.

 some officers  were boarding shuttles   from thier ships, or  others  as the waved   good bye to  The party as a whole.

 Lizzy smiled and said," If we can't get one I can assemble one for us, I work on my fighter all the time how hard could it be, and the most important thing is I follow orders well. Well ummm never mind that last one."

 Lizzy laughed and pulled Izzy closer to her as they got to the party, Lizzy waved, smiled and talked to a few pilots mostly she knew, she felt Izzy holding her hand very tight. Now was that because she was nervous being seen as a lesbian, or nervous because a lot of the Hermes crew did not like her and have never met her. Lizzy looked at Izzy, smiled and quietly say," It is okay if your nervous about this I would just like to talk to Captain Si real quick and we can head to the Hermes and our new home." Lizzy beamed as she mentioned their new home Lizzy was so excited, but so nervous about blowing it when Izzy gets to see her everyday, and her way out of control mood swings, most likely Izzy might run.

 Lizzy calmed down and hopefully they would get through all of those problems as a couple, but she really had no clue how to build or nurture a relationship, maybe she could talk to Captain Si about that as well when Lizzy asks to speak to Captain Si after Vera. This was very important now to Lizzy, talking to Captain Si about her Mom, this would be all the family memories she would have that where real what her Mom did and was like before she died. Captain Si served with her, they where friends and Lizzy desperately needed those 'memories' to help her keep it together and be the best girlfriend to Izzy , best friend to so many people and best damn fighter pilot around. Lizzy waved at Steele as he went past her and Izzy.

 Lizzy smiled back at Izzy as they walked around the party, she was looking for Captain Si. She found Captain Si standing with the Admiral and LC. Well hopefully Izzy and the LC can get along finally. Lizzy turns to Izzy and says," There is Captain Si after we talk to her, we can leave if you want okay, get a head start on getting a transport up, I love you Izzy." She gives Izzy a kiss on the lips and she heads for Captain Si.

 Lizzy knew she was rushing this and she could wait after the attack on Vera to even ask but Lizzy needed to know Nil Si her mom's friend would sit and tell her stories about her Mom, Lizzy really needed that right now so much. Lizzy can't help it as she gets to Captain Si there are tears rolling out of her eyes slowly, Lizzy looks embarrassed and says to Captain Si," Captain Si I know I might be out of line or over anxious but could we set up a time after everything with Vera we could sit and you could tell me more about my real Mother, not the stories I heard from him, it will be the only good family memories I will have Ma'am." Lizzy tried to hold back the tears but some leaked out as she asked Captain Si. She was squeezing Izzy's hand a little harder, plus talking with Izzy's mother today was awesome but it got her heart hurting to know more about her Mother, Lizzy was so happy Izzy had a wonderful caring Mother but also just a little jealous as well.

Sarah had been near Morris, Will and Harry. "Well Rivets here thinks they have a bit more of a meat flavor than most earth type fish, and I'd agree. Take that for what you will."

As things wore down she took another dance with Rivets, and then retired about 10min before the horn to make her way back to the Burian flag ship.

Melia blushed, "I'd by lying if said I didn't think that all this was a blessing. I never thought I'd be close... with anyone ever after I escaped. For a long time I prided myself on it, it was my defense.

I'll hold you too that story." Her life was crazy. It was insane that she'd gone from demon slave, to basically a twitchy angry shut in, to first befriending Hunter, and now she was dating Zob. A demon sure, but she'd been intimate with some one for real. Not like when she was a slave, she wanted the intimacy enjoyed it. A feeling she thought she'd never experience and couldn't experience. It was truly a blessing, as if the gods were repaying her for a lot of her suffering. Still the victim in her, was skeptical.

At the beach party, Orria accepted the dance from the Ensign

  Captain Si  looked at   Lizzy, Izzy, and shifted her eyes to Shadow. Shadow   Shrugged and Moved off to get a drink.

   When Shadow was out of  earshot, she turned back to the  ladies and said,Aye?   I do not see why not... should things  go well , we shall be  on Calimite having  outdoor  parties and   find time then..or?.. when  we cast off from there, to, where  ever  Oliver things we need to kill people next.. she had somewhat of a cold  smile as she said that last part.

  Shadow  Looked at the  Udenese, cut me  two  slightly thin slices of Bread Please.

 the fellow  did  so, and  Shadow used  his  fork to put the  bar-b-que chicken on the bread..and the other slice on top. and took a bite out of it ..

 The Udense    man's  Mouth hung opened and he rapidly  had his  helpers  cut more  bread, and they made  the  same  sandwiches  with the  chicken and the fish.. The one  fellow got on his COM to COM his INn, and have them  start selling  them... suddenly , Udenese   were  lining up for  what Shadow  told them were.."sandwiches"

 Shadow  took  a bottle of Soda  and walked away  shaking his head, while Udenese  argued over who was next, and Humans laughed.

 Raven Stood with her hands on her  hips glaring at Shadow  as he tried to eat his  sandwich.

 The admiral is   goign to want  the LArgs on teh rgound when we  hit Vera... not only to sue thier  skils...but as a live fire test

 Sam brought Howe to the side after they ate, danced and had a wonderful time at the party. Sam held him close and said," I am heading back to the Cold Stone, I had a wonderful time as always Steve, be safe see you soon." Sam then gave him a kiss like it could be their last kiss ever. Sam then saw Sarah beginning to leave, she she ended the kiss she said," Steve see you on Calamite, kick some ass." Sam will stay long enough to hear his response and then follow Sarah towards the Cold Stone.

Nikki smiled and helped to get a plate for Haley, then for Mitch and herself "This has been quite a day.  Wonderful food, company, and scenery.  That garden was amazing."
Haley nodded agreement "The garden flowers were so pretty and smelled so nice" she said "Thank you Meari for taking us there.  And for letting me pet the Berafack.  She was so soft and cuddly"

 Meari smiled and got a plate, Meari sat sown and Nikki talked about quite a day. Meari says to Nikki," I am so glad you enjoyed the day Nikki, I had a great time showing you my world."

 Meari smiled at Haley," I am so glad you enjoyed the garden flowers, and the Uden Blossom now you have seen a real one." Meari hugged Haley and said," You are very welcome, I am glad a Berafack actually showed up I was hoping one would, yes they are very soft and very cuddly, some have them as pets, they eat berries and leaves but love small insects, pests I believe you call them so they are very helpful for gardens.   Meari then released the hug and continued to eat the meal and she was all smiles with Haley.

  The Big Uglies landed, People from their  ships  loaded up..The Board  waved off   a  regular shuttle, to ride with their people.

 As the shuttle was Loading, Shadow and Shade gave Dusk and Lilit hugs.  Dusk gave  Orria  a hug as  well, and Shadow  whispered something  to Dusk, that made her cover her face  and Lilit laugh.



 Bornberry walked  Roles over to the Big Ugly that was going to The Hermes.Raven  gave  Bronberry a  snide  smile

 Hack  mentioned to Shadow, that frans , Beth, Flores  and a few dozen other  went up early,I bet?... nothing is really cheap down here.

Roy nodded at Hennings' statement about having the largs on the ground.  "Actually, I think that's the only logical next step with them.  The only question in my mind is whether we use them as a hunting pack or farm them out individually to squads, and that all depends on the exact nature of our reception when we get to Vera."

He shrugged.  "That said, I have the utmost confidence in their ability to do whatever we need them to.  The Verians won't know what hit them, with Larry, Tess, and Freddy going after them.  Another couple of months and we'll be able to start using Gregor, too, most likely, although I'm inclined, for now, to leave him to help with Hangar Deck defense."  He snorted softly, adding, "Those three, working together?  The Verians are going to get a whole new definition of the term 'meat grinder'..."

Nikki chatted with everyone she could, and haley just enjoyed getting hugs and talking as well.  politely making a curtsy or two.  Both ladies thanked their hosts for a most pleasant time.  It was not long after 1900 hours (7pm in civilian time) to begin to wind down to the transports back to the Hermes.  Haley did ask Nikki if she could buy one thing.  If they made it quick they could.  4 boxes of sweets.  Nikki gave her a kiss, and simply said "I think it's do able" remembering that there was a sweet shop when going to and from the garden manor house.
All to soon it was time to leave.  She noted to Gia and Meari the time.  Again thanked their hosts politely, for being given the privilege of visiting their amazing home.  In the car back they made a stop at the small shop that sold sweets.  There Haley used her 10 cred  coin to buy the 4 boxes of candy she wanted to get, each varies and were about a pound each.  Any extra Nikki winked that she would take care of.  boxed, bagged, and then put into a bag to carry.  All save one.  That one Haley decided to give away then and there.
box in hand she presented it to Meari"This is to really say thank you for making the visit really special for me.  Showing me all the flowers, and animals" She gave Meari the irresistable doe eyes and bright smile.

Soon they were at the 'Big Uglies' to get back to the ship.

"Sure, ok we can do that" Izzy replied in a shy voice as Lizzy lead them both over to meet Captain Si, with this being the first time that Izzy had been in close proximity to one of her heroes. However as Lizzy started to talk to the Captain, it would become clear that she was nervous about something as she tried to fight back the tears forming in the corners of her eyes causing the look of utter hero worship on Izzy's face to turn to that of obvious concern.

Squeezing Lizzy's hand back she would quietly listen as Captain Si and her girlfriend arranged a time for them to meet up and talk about her mother, with Izzy herself finding herself unable to say anything at all in the Captain's presence.

Finishing the last mouthful of her meal Harry would eagerly take Will's hand and walk out onto the sand by the lake and step into his arms. With her being very careful not to touch or jar his injured side in any way, Harry would slowly move to the sound of the music as her man held her close "I really enjoyed today despite...um...what happened this morning" she whispered to him before leaning up to gently kiss him.

With the shuttles and Big Uglies already making their way down to the planet Harry would make the most of what little time they had left together; dancing with Will until they cut the music at which she would collect her shopping from the boot of the car with Will before heading towards the waiting transports with the rest of the crew.

"Beach and a barbeque sounds fine, Val darling," said Henry.

"Shall I carry the pulse rifle for you? What were you doing with one, anyway?"

He took the rifle and handed her up into the van, calling Mila to come along.

 Meari enjoyed her time with Nikki, Mitch, and of course Lady Haley. They leave the palace dinning hall and they head outside, they take a car to the landing field but the car stops Nikki and Haley get out and go into a sweet store.

 When Haley gave Meari one of the boxes of candy Meari smiled, and was it tears of joy in her eyes, she kneeled down and gave Haley a big hug and replied," Thank you so much Lady Haley it was a honor and a lot of fun to show you my world and I am so happy you enjoyed it." Meari kept smiling this was all so new to her and Haley was an amazing young girl, Meari's eyes where tearing, she turned to Nikki and smiled and said," I had a great time showing all of you my wonderful world.

 Meari would then stand up and they headed back to the airstrip and got in line for a Big Ugly to bring them back to the ship. Meari looked out at her world, in a few hours Vera would be attacked and their long war would be over and peace would finally fall into Uden from Vera, this would be a very happy day. Meari really cared for Haley and had a great time, when it was their turn Meari looked back at her homeworld as she got onto the transport and headed up to the Hermes with her new friends.

 Lizzy smiled at Captain Si, she gave her a hug and then said," Thank you Captain Si you do not know what that means to me, After Vera we will talk Captain thank you again. Sorry for the hug." Lizzy would stay and wait for Captain Si's response.

 Once she responded the tears went away and Lizzy took Izzy's hand and they headed for the transports. Once clear of the party Lizzy says to Izzy," Thank you I had to set that up, Captain Si and my Mother where friends and served together and I would just like to know my Mother more. Your Mom was amazing and it is my job to make sure you take care of yourself Mother's orders." Lizzy will hold Izzy close as Izzy could tell talking to Si about her Mother was very important to Lizzy.

 Then Lizzy smiled and said," Well time to get back lets go catch a transport, Hey Izzy If I haven't told you lately I love you." She gave Izzy a kiss and headed for the transports.

Zob smilies then flags the waitress down so he can pay for the dinner and once getting scanned and leaving a rather generous tip he looked back to Melia, "I wouldent mind another day or two here but Sadly it seems time is up we gotta be getting back to the ship" he really cares deeply for her and hoped when the time was right she would accept his proposal.

With an envious look on her face, Izzy would watch as Lizzy gave her hero; Captain Si a hug before once again taking her hand and leading her away, with Izzy mustering just enough courage to offer the Captain a shy wave before she left. From what Lizzy went on to tell her it would appear that Captain Si had served with Lizzy’s mother, hence the hug, and Lizzy wanted the opportunity to learn what she could about her. Izzy couldn’t really blame her for that as she’d have been the same had she not known her mother.

As they approached the waiting transports Izzy would giggle as she was asked if she’d been told Lizzy loved her recently ”hmm not in the last twenty seconds or so” she said with an adoring look on her face ”I had a lot of fun today, and I can’t wait to move in with you and have you all to myself” she giggled as they made their way to the waiting transports that would whisk them away from Uden and to their home on the Hermes.

 Lizzy looked very happy after she left Captain Si, it meant the world to Lizzy that she would find out more what her Mother was really like. She gave Izzy a loving smile she held Izzy's hand nicely as they got to the transports.

 When Izzy joked about Lizzy telling her she loved her, she said, " Oh wow that long I must be slipping." Lizzy giggled and after Izzy said she had alot of fun today, and couldn't wait to move in together, Lizzy was so happy. " I had a great day as well Izzy it was amazing, I am so happy I found our promise bracelets. Now that sounds amazing lets head home my love." With that Lizzy and Izzy got onto the transport and headed back up to the Hermes, Lizzy and Izzy hand in hand.

 They then got onto the Big Ugly and she easily saw the redheaded pilot that she met in Captain Si's quarters, and her cute little girlfriend, Meari noticed they where holding hands in put the pieces together, they where not hiding it and Meari had no problem with it, she thought they made a wonderful couple.

 Meari smiled at Nikki and Haley, and said," Isn't that your friend Lizzy the Pilot, sometimes it is nice to be tall. Izzy the woman she is with, they are a couple and they care about each other I could see it in their eyes and body language. Izzy is very nice she is a good reporter, we had a very good interview, she not some scam, oh I mean scum like that Wendy bitch."
