"I ..don't rightly know, Roll.  They may have it by smell.  Like a territorial mark.  But...you know what?  It does not hurt to ask them...might even make some new friends too" she smiled at him.  When Mitch spoke she looked at the new Torpedo craft "Cool"  turning back she saw Haley waving at Lizzy and Izzy "Hey you two..... Looks like Christmas came early this year" she did a hand gesture like a prize model showing off the top prize.  Haley ran and gave both ladies a hug.

Zob had caught one of the last shuttles back to the Hermes, as he stepped off he took a big whiff of the stale air and suddenly he felt a lot more comfortable then he was back on Everest.

He started to make his way to the elevator until he heard something that caught his attention, "What is this Christmas thing?" he asked turning to Nicky a look of awkward curiosity clear on his face.

 Lizzy smiled as she looked at the brand new fighter in her berth. Then she said," Yes I got a new fighter, but now I have to redo my nose art." She giggled , and began to check out her fighter, when Haley waved at them both.

 Lizzy quickly waved back , and replied," Yes it does look that way, new fighters and new fish for us." Lizzy put her stuff down, knelt down and waited for Haley to jump into her arms, once she did, Lizzy hugged her back and smiled at Haley. " Did you enjoy shore leave, did you have fun on the Beach, what else did you get to do Haley?" Lizzy was smiling she seemed so happy with children especially Haley.  Then she picked up her fish and said," Haley Izzy and I got fish for our quarters do you like mine isnt she pretty?"

"Ooooo...shiny lookin'!  What kinda fish are they?" Haley asked wiggling a finger near the travel container.  "Made lots a new friends to see when we go to Bura" She hoped it would not be long.
"Mitch looks to have gotten a new torpedo craft as well" Nikki said.  "I think we need someone aboard who can really paint and just pay them to do nose art.  They'd be rollin' in creds"

As Haley came running up, Izzy would give the girl a rather awkward hug born from not really knowing how to act around young children before watching as Lizzy showed her the fish they'd got "They're Burian Sailfins, they're pretty aren't they?" she said as the young girl wiggled her fingers in front of them. They were probably no more than maybe three or four centimetres long but their large billowing tails made them appear far larger, with the pair of fish; one red, one pink homing in on Haley's fingertips "They probably think you're a worm" Izzy giggled as she watched the pair of fish moving towards Haley's fingertips before quickly swimming away again.

 Lizzy smiled when she hugged Haley and she was very happy when Izzy came down and played with the fish with Haley and her. " That is great Haley you meet lots of new friends to visit on Bura. Well we better get them to their new home Haley, you can come and see them when Nikki says it's ok, would you like that Haley." Lizzy was all smiles, and was very happy when Izzy joined them.

Nikki gave a sheepish smile "About that...I may have a favor to ask" she rolled her eyes upward "I'll ask a bit later though.  We need to store our gear and get some rest....I think they said there was a tunnel run tomorrow morning" she was trying to figure out how to politely ask Lizzy question.

Haley smiled and nodded "Yeay!  I like fish...like playing in the mud by lakes and streams better though.  But these are real pretty" She looked up at Nikki with her big innocent eyes.
Nikki knew the look hoping she'd say yes...which she was, but for now they'd have to get settled in "Mmmm-aaybe.  Right now though I see two worn out kiddos who need sleep.  We got a tunnel run tomorrow, and still have to unpack" she looked up at Lizzy and Izzy "We all best be going so we can get some sleep before the morning" She ushered Mitch Haley, Roll, and Lizzy and Izzy to the lift and everyones bags along with them.

“Nikki’s right, it’s time for all the good little girls to go to sleep, besides we need to get these little guys settled into their new home” Izzy said wiggling her fingers at the brightly coloured fish before giggling at the mention of the dreaded tunnel run “Not for me there isn’t, I’ll be taking a trip to med tech in the morning, also running with only one working eye sounds like a really bad idea” she said before turning to Lizzy ”...either way it’s time we went home” she said following Nikki to the lifts to catch a ride up to their quarters.

 Lizzy smiled at Haley when she seemed excited to visit Izzy, her and their new fish. Lizzy replied," Yes Haley Auntie Izzy is right you are a good girl and you need your sleep and we do have to get them settled in their new home so you can visit them ok. Yes it is time we all headed home for sleep." Lizzy gives Haley a kiss on the head, lets her head back to Nikki, Lizzy picks up her stuff and follows everyone into the life towards their quarters.

 Lizzy looked at Izzy so worried about her surgery and her eye, Lizzy was very happy she was going to Med tech in the morning and then she could find out what was going on. Lizzy whispers into Izzy's ear," I hope everything goes well there and you get your surgery date." Lizzy got into the lift with everyone smiling but worried.

  Raven  looked over the  new  Aircraft, she  seemed   pleased that she  was  awarded a new craft as well. Red Water, being one of the Newer Piltos, did not get a new  aircraft, but his wasn't  as  shot up as some.

  Steele, was   on his own as he   walked with his gear to the Elevtor, not   giving too much  looks to his  new aircraft/

 Flores  and  Kat   talked to  Argie to  make sure their aircraft   Noses, were painted  so they  could  do  nose art  after the Tunnel run

She walked onto the Hanger Dec with Arnie, looking around and, though she had a lot of fun on Everest, she was glad to be home, so to speak. “When do you have to work again?” she looked up to Arnie, hoping that maybe she could get the rest of the night with him. If not, then…she supposed she could just go relax in her room.

Henry gave Mila a reassuring pat, then turned to Val.

"I know, I'd have liked to have kept Can as well. At least we gave him a good send off to his new life on Bura. More opportunities for him there, anyway. Let's get back to the lab. There's always plenty to be done. Must speak with the Admiral as well."

Arnie  chuckled   and looked around, then said,Sure, i  can stay. But i have to be a good boy tonight? I don't want any Everest  transfers passing me up tomorrow.

 The   Hermes  shook  with a bit of  trembling as the  Ships pulled out of   doc

"I mean...honestly I had no intent of anything...naughty happening. I just wanted the cuddling," she laughed, blushing a bit at the admission.

 Arnie chuckled   as they reached the Elevator,..I know you pilot  types,  swooping in,  breaking hearts and  the PODing out.... You rascal...

 Captain Morris  waited  on the   Hanger dec, as  shuttles  cam  in with the   Commanders from the Delta Sections, and Hyria   Fleet, and waitign on  Sarah,

A shuttle from the vengeance comes in touching down neatly on the deck with Sarah, her intrepid coms officer of course along for the trip.

Sarah for what its worth is wearing standard issue physical training gear.

She steps down the ramp two burian SEC personnel flanking her.

 Captain  Morris   welcomes  everyone  and says,Welcome , once  more to  The Hermes. I am to lead you all up to the  Admiral's mess for   the Meetings, But the Admiral and Captain aand a few others  are going to be in the Tunnel run, they will join us when they are  finished...Please, Follow me...

   he  truned with a flourish.

    Garrat is standing at the static field gazing towards the IS.  Her hull repairs weren’t all that difficult.  It is amazing how so little damage could kill three and injure two of his ship mates.

    His eyes track into space.  Somewhere out there was the Asgard wreck the old one had spoken of.

    Even if Garrat hadn’t relinquished the regular command of the Immigrant’s Song to Moonstruck or had the ship in perfect working order, he couldn’t make the trip alone.  The IS just couldn’t engage in naval battle alone and the empire was getting desperate.  Someday he would find someone left in this distant place that could represent Asgard in good faith.  For now he was cursed to be both part of the team and alone at the same time.

    Garrat turned from space, Teela had taken an unexpected turn after the dance but was fighting back into health.  Never had he seen Such a spirit before.  He could only love her and help with his knowledge as a Wolfrim.   Still while he pushed to get the upper engines up to par and start doubling up the maneuvering thrusters, his spare moments had been taking care of her.  But he was still assigned to the Hermès and his New friends and unofficial family was there.

   He turned away from the field and watched Morris greet the commander of the Burian forces.  The run was happening soon.  Maybe that would clear his head.

 Sam followed Sarah off of the shuttle, she had her video board open checking the status of the Task Force heading to Bura, she kept Sarah updated on their progress and situation with the Empire forces.

 Sam smiled at Captain Morris and followed him to the Admirals mess.

Actually Captain, I'd prefer to join to run with the Admiral and Capatain Si, at their pleasure of course. After all the best place to lead is from the front" She says unzipping the jacket revealing the light armor underneath the sweats. Reaching back one of the SEC troopers hands her a Light Pack and a pulse rifle.

Harry would make a brief stop off at her quarters to change into a pair of old overalls and then almost as an after thought would brush her hair so as to make herself halfway presentable before catching the lift down to the hangar dec. Even if she didn't get to speak to Will, she hoped that the work would keep her suitably distracted and more importantly calm.

After checking with the techs to make sure that no imminent work was required to her fighter Harry would step into her berth and after taking the time to carefully mask off her name and serial number, and any exposed sensors and equipment would begin spraying her nose section with black paint. It had initially started off as black square, like that of a pirate flag, but after adjusting and evening it out a couple of times she would end up spraying the entire nose section, oh well...Shadow has his tail piece so why can't I do the nose section? besides it's not that noticeable next to ESN blue she thought to herself, although she did accept the possibility that she may have to respray the paint if anyone took exception to her artistic license.

Once the paint was suitably dry she would begin the task of applying a paper skull template to the sides of the her fighter and adding the first coat of white paint.
