Jug and Bog move carefully towards the large demon and Maris.  Her squad carefully taking aim. Close enough they began disarming them starting with Maris.  They were less than gentle and did invade a few private areas to be safe, then handed them off to others.

With Maris and the Demon more than adequately covered, Roy lowered his weapon and moved over to the largs, checking them carefully.  Nicks and shallow cuts, he left alone...anything deeper, he promptly foamed, quietly muttering praises to the largs as he worked on them.  The attack would likely have succeeded without them...there were just too many APF forces and too limited a supply of defenders.  But the battle would no doubt still be raging three or four floors down and the list of APF casualties would be a LOT longer.

"Let's have a look at that, can we?" he muttered softly to Gla, rubbing the gore off her head and into her scales as he spoke to her.  He moved a hand gently to the leg she was favoring, starting at her torso and moving down the leg as he gently palpated it, looking for the wound that was causing her limp and hoping it was something that would heal up easily.  "You're gonna have some great war stories to tell Tess when we get back to the ship..."

He keyed his comm on the Marine command channel. "Reminder for all ESN Marine personnel...ANY largs that have fallen in this battle are to be accorded all due military honors.  Anyone wants to argue about it, tell them to come find me and make their case."  He continued patiently checking Gla's leg until he was certain he'd located and treated all the injuries to it, his experience with animals on the reservation giving him a surprisingly gentle touch, and his basic aid experience in the field helping him identify what needed to be patched up and what could be left to close on its own.

 When he saw Morgan, Slick came to a stop, started clicking the appropriate switches in the cockpit, making adjustments to the tools remotely, and looked had Morgan get into a safe postion so he could make an assessment of the repairs needed, if possible.
 Hey Chief, got some leakage here, and a back actuator, take me a couple of minutes for the actuator, then a few more for the hose, i just need to get the access off, and.....his conversing faded off as he was thinking out loud for what he was looking at and what it would take.... You'll have to shut down the hydros for a minute to this leg, can you shut it down please?
  after it was shut down, he took the two minutes to replace  the hose and the actuator...... You can fir it up Chief, gotta do a leak check, and refill the reservoir. I also have a reload for you if needed, what d'ya need?

Henry had followed the Admiral all the way, taking his usual careful potshots with his shotgun.

Once they reached the roof and things calmed down, he got out the portable bowls and ensured that Mila and any largs present got a drink.

"Need a hand?" he asked Roy, when he found him checking largs over for injuries.

  Gla  Looked pitiful , her eyes looking at   roy.. the 'shoudler'  and   'calf' of her  leg and two small discs in, he could see the  back  edge of them as they caught the light.

 Henry could see the discs in the light as well.

  Puske  came over  and looked around, watchign  as   Roy checked out Gla....Must have  been a Elipsian officer... small discs, would have been a sidearm.

  Hack  shouldered his    weapon and  walked   closer to the generalwhere is the Elipsian in charge?

 The Demon General  Handed Hack his weapon.....that pile of   cloth and bones there... The 'Brave' Admiral Maris shot him , point black when the High  Chairmen grabbed his   collar and  said some stern words...

  Hack  Took  the weapon , Lookign around he HAnded it  Captain McCloud.

 CE-VA showed a panoramic view  of the    'city' as  far as the eye could see ..smoke.. flames  and   some explosions  continued.

 She  turned the Cam onto the two leaders

 ..You have the  Outcast  with you?... I have  heard  tales of him fighting  along side the APF  folk. I am much surprised , none have killed him... he  gave a toothy grin to Zob.

 There was a   Crack of   a few  sniper rifles... creeds were Given to Lyri  who smiled.....find another  one, we'll go again...  as the snipers  looked  for   stragglers  around the  Building.

 Tucker  hand   Nifty on his back and  set hip  down  by the wall  where the  other  Sniper   were...

Jax  was     goign through the  dead demons and  afew Humans.. the  Human's  red officer  hats laying   next  to them where they died.. he  took  Creds  they carried   and put  them in an empty ammo pouch.

 Hoke's left arm  dangled , his right arm still carried    an Ammo can.

 Magin stepped up witht eh OMNI COM...  Taking the  the OMIN COM  mic, The  Admiral  announced will lookign at the General and  MAris...

 ..This is Admiral  Hack.. the leaders of the Defending troops  are either Captured or dead........ in a Moment , The General of teh Empire forces  will make an announcement.... how the remainign troops  react..we  seal the  fate of thier  Civies on the transports.....

 he handed the Mic  to the  General... we both lost alot of people these two days....I will glady  allow my troops to keep hunting and killings yours, but it will cost  me  good people, who do not have to die  any longer.... Get your troops  to lay  down thier  arms... and  march to the base of this    building.... I have an offering to be made, but it will not be made..unless  this comes to pass...You also must agree. to hand over  Maris to us.. to show your good faith...

 The General  snorted, then looked over the  massive expanse that was the 'world' of this station.then he   took the   Mic...

 ...this  is General Kal De Kal..... all Empire troops  Lay down your weapons... and march to the Command   Building....The lives of the Civies  are in the balance..... As a show of good faith for this Surrender.. we  are handing over   Admiral MAris  of the EDT, to  Admiral Hack and the  APF...

 Handing the MIC back to  The Admiral... The Admiral  made a second announcement..All APF  forces.... gather  the   surrendering troops in areas  on the surface.... all  surrendering troops inside the planet-station  should  form up on the west side of the  Command building.... any enemy  that tries to fight.. kill them and  any with them....any EDT.. i want in a separate area.... to the south of the Command Building

 what happens  now....

 The Admiral hands  the Mic back to Magin.depends on your troops... i won't fault  any of those troops out there, if they gun down  ever Empire bastard they see...we'll just have to wait and see how many people are left

 captain Zill was wounded he had  two discs in his  chest, but the thick muscle and  light boarding armor helped keep him from  falling...there are Many wounded    enemies  in this Building. Admiral... as well as wounded of our own...

 ..See to yourself  and   your wounded.... your people who aren't  wounded, have them finish off the  Empire  wounded , in this building..I would  easily guess they were  the  'most loyal' of the  troops  we fought, no use  us   allowing them the chance to fight again..

 The Apefolks Captain Grinned, turned to his people  and shouted  orders,  Thier Med techs  ..such as they were.. began to  work on the ape folk, while  healthy ones   begand   to finish off   wounded

  Maria, a wounded Ellen   and  a wounded Cora  went to Maris,   Zip tying his  arns  behind  his back and to his  Belt..Maria laughed,...that metal hand  does  not make you any less, inútil,hijo de puta...

 Supe  and Hodden looked over the  edge.....Admiral Hack!  They are Coming.. doesn't look like many of them...still  weapons fire out there.

 Disna and Puske  watched   nodding  as the  Largs  seemed to be ok.. Hool had an Elipsian arm  handing out of  his  mouth as he muched...  Puske said..HOOL!..stop that!

 Hool looked a little  guilty and  slurped the  arm into his mouth to  finish it off..

Henry got down on his knees beside Gla.

"Good girl," he said, rubbing her head.

"Let's see what we can do about that leg of yours."

Some local painkillers then he tried to ease the discs out, watching for any bleeding that the disc might be holding back. Then he bandaged her up.

"You see Roy, it's much the same as giving first aid to a human. Maybe a child... you need to gentle them, reassure them. Largs are smart, as you well know, but it's still a case of 'it hurts' rather than a clear understanding of what is going on."

He offered Gla some water.

"Take it gently, Gla, let your other five legs do the work and don't scamper around too much. If it continues to hurt seek out a Larg Master or a medic to treat you further, you might have an infection."

Zob let out a small hmph sound slightly amused by his ignorance, "What can I say? I'm way to stubborn to die Kal..." with the battle won Zob lit up a smokewood cigar and took a quick drag off of it, "Qer sure was idiotic to think this pile of flesh would be of use to the Empire, he would of stabbed you in the back the moment he got what he wanted from you" he said motioning to Maris.

Roy grinned at Henry.  "I was actually thinking it was a lot like working with a well-handled horse...they know something's wrong...and they know they can't fix it, but you can."  He'd had capricious, hard-to-catch horses walk right up to him in the pasture when they were in distress.

He foamed the wounds where Henry had extracted the discs, barely able to eke enough out of the canister to seal the wounds' deeper damage and contain the bleeding before letting Henry finish up the bandaging.  "Gonna have to start carrying more dermafoam," he sighed as he dropped the empty canister.  "That's been more than enough for me and Larry, but I really could have used another canister.  I got the worst of their wounds closed up with it, but they've all got plenty of shallow nicks and burns that just weren't serious enough to demand foaming."

He'd been listening with one ear to the exchange between Hack and the Demon general, and he gave a tired smile.  "I was nearly certain that Hack was actually not going to accept any surrenders this time.  Smart choice, though...I mean, as far as I know, none of the Demons who've ever surrendered to us sent word back...so there's no reason for the Demon forces still fighting to entertain notions of surrender and then turn around to fight again.  But the survivors that have been resettled know that Hack's fair-minded and not interested in wholesale slaughter.  Means it will be that much easier to keep peace with them after the war."

He glanced over at Ce-Va, filming the whole thing, and grunted.  "Except this time, the Demons will know that Hack doesn't necessarily mean it when he says they're all going to die.  But this is also the highest-profile surrender we've had...that could more than offset the other.  A member of the Imperial House, surrendering to the APF.  That's gonna cause some ripples..."

Izzy continue advancing through the maelstrom of bullets and razor sharp discs, commenting as best as she could on the battle in between firing pot shots at the enemy until all of a sudden. It stopped.

Standing on the rooftop she would watch as Hack negotiated the surrender of the Imperial forces on the station, with the demon General more than happy to sell out the traitorous Captain Maris who had been the brains behind a plasma attack, all of which made for very compelling footage.

  Wounded  where being   lowered down  by  Gava and Nargrans after  wrapping   wounded in  silks and     lowering them over  the ledge.

    MED EVACs  were  entering now,, dozens of them sprwading out over the 'city' as  flares wen

 the Gava  compnay lost half of thier people t up for the wounded.

 close to Half of  Captain Zill's  people were  dead, and half of  what was left were wounded.

 Half of the Gava   were dead as well... Blades didn't treat the little bodies  very well

  Black Evac  shuttles, as big as   an assault shuttle  came in to pick up dead.

  screams and  pleas for mercy  from the   EDT folks  echoed  as  they were lead to the Karea  where two massive Stud largs  sat, with a dozen or  so others   , about 'normal' size  sat..

 an LY   screamed out at Hack  as he exited the  command  building..HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO HUMANS!

 Hack, well aware  the  CAM was  still going, simply said...You ceased being  Humans, when you fought for the Empire...  the  guards Pushed  shoved and  dragged the EDT the two blocks  towards the  area  the LArgs were resting.

  One of the  Captains from teh drops ships  jumped out of an APV...Admiral?.. yuou  may use  my APV  to leave if you wish?

 hack  looked aroudn at the battered troops.....no thank you Captain? I walked in here  with my people..I think its only fitting we walk out ..together..

 Zill shook  Hack's hand.. patted   Henry, pushed Maris out of the way  to  Shade   Roys and and Zob..and Give  Shade   an ( annoying)  pat on the head.

 The Gava  said Good Bye  to Hack and Jug.. they too, went to  tend  to thier  dead.
 and they entered the   tunnels.. Kal de Kal walked, somewhat straight... Maris had to be pushed a few times.. he was scared and angry...

 The largs     Padded  along after.. Gla   trying  not to put much weight on her leg,

Roy returned Zill's handshake heartily.  "Sorry for your losses, Captain...but for what it's worth, we'd still be stuck out 5here fighting and dying if it weren't for your people.  A pleasure sharing the field of battle with you..."

He grimaced slightly when Zill patted Shade on the head, and waited until Zill had moved off and started gathering his survivors together before walking up to the half-Udenese.

"I don't think he's used to working with people that much shorter than him, who aren't children...hope you don't make too much of that.  I've got to admit, they make a daunting force to deal with on the ground."  He gave Shade a seat on the shoulder, with another grin and disbelieving shake of his head for the blade sticking out of Shade's armor.

As they started walking back, he took up position behind Maris.  After the second time he had to push the traitor to keep him moving, Roy spoke up in a dangerous growl.

"Pick up your feet, Maris, before I assign a larg to drag you out of here by one leg.  I mean, Larry might refuse...he doesn't like the taste of chickenshit...but we've got plenty of other largs who aren't quite as picky..."

Melia groaned when it became clear the demon general wasn't to be interrogated and killed. Though it seemed he'd been the least bad enemy commander and had opposed the use of plasma ships against the fleet.

"We'll fine I guess I'll ask Shadow if I can he part of the team that makes Maris's death as long and painful as possible.

She says, clearly miffed at not getting to kill Maris or the demon general. She tossed Roy a can of foam. "Here I got a few left."

She moved over to Zob, "let me know if you need anything." she says giving Kal da Kal another dirty look that promised consequences if he tried anything funny, but also invited it.  Before slipping away to start patching up the wounded.

 Maris  stumbled  More  and looked around. Larry was a bity ahead of the Admiral.. the other  Largs   were around Gla  who was limping.

 Shade walked  along  his still had his weapon ready

 ..you know ..he's goign to get you  Killed... look at the trouble you had here?

 we  wiped out or captured the Fleet?... the fighters knocked  down your  fighters..and  our  troops  kicked your in the ass?  Supe  walked  with his  50 Cal on his  shoulder

 Hack  just  chuckled  as  CA-Ve  walked ahead   keeping the  Cam on the   trip.

 Moragn  and  Slick  followed them in, watchign thier backs in case there were   escaped folks looking for them

 The   went the way the Admiral came in.He Comed  ahead.....Shory?.. Pack  up the Burners..  get ready to go home

Zob rolled his eyes slightly he just wanted Maris to be silent, "Maris shut the hells up or I'm gonna club you upside the head and haul your unconscious body back"

"It's a choice as old as human history, Maris...die fighting, or live on your knees.  I'd rather die from a pulse round between the eyes in a clean battle than get clubbed over the head while I'm stuck fellating some Demon who's just gonna have me for dinner later.  But, who am I to judge?  Maybe you like the taste of Demon genitalia being crammed down your throat.  I hear some people are into that kind of thing..."  He shrugged, and added, "Would explain why you only had the one kid..."

If Maris had the temerity to turn around to protest...or the lack of intelligence, which was quite likely, Roy had a right hook ready to knock the man on his ass...

 Kal de Kal  walked  along,  strong measured strides he would glance  at  Maris and shake his head  every so often.I cannot believe  the   EDT thought hat was goign to replace  Hack at the ehad of the delta Fleet..and use it to fight the APF

 they came out of the tunnels, the wounded who guarded the   entrances  fell in as the   marched to the  shuttle  that were already warming up.

 In the air, Shadows   group   came flying over head.....Lets Go Admiral..alot of these  things  are held together  with scotch tape and tissue paper..

Roy scoffed aloud at Maris' declaration about Hack's qualifications.  "Damn, man...just when I thought you couldn't possibly be any more stupid, you turn around and say something like that.  The reason Hack is married to Captain Si is because he's the kind of man who would have accomplished this, with or without her.  She wouldn't settle for anything less..."

He looked at Maris like the man was an unwanted surprise left in the middle of the floor by an incontinent larg.  "Sure's hell wouldn't have settled for a toady like you...only useful thing to do with you would be to empty the shit out of your skull and use it to fertilize crops..." he added with obvious contempt in his voice.  "Of course, you'd have to have some rudimentary level of competence to recognize that, so it's no surprise that it continues to elude you.  You haven't managed to do one damn thing right since you came out here to try and reclaim your daughter...well, no...because even that wasn't right, so it started before that decision."

He gave a sarcastic bark of laughter, and added, "Maybe we should be thanking you for signing on with the EDT.  If you'd stay on our side, who knows how bad you coulda fucked things up for us..."

 Maria   walked witht eh wounded Ellen  and Cora... Maria  spoke up...pendejo... sent his  wife to get killed..while she is about to have  Bambina? I am having  hard to understanding why he  is still alive....

 ..because....CPL  Siguenza ....he is about to be a big Vid  Star..he might  even make more pictures of magazines then Shadow this  week.

 they were getting to the  Shuttles,  The Admiral awaved on the wounded  aboard first.

Zob gave Roy a odd look when he heard mention of demon genitals, "Any demon that did that would have to get tested afterwards cause whatever stupid Maris has nobody wants to catch" before boarding the shuttle he took one last drag before snuffing it out for later.

 Lizzy did her strafing runs and then the fighting stopped, she followed Shadow and Fitz to the LZ area to escort the shuttles back but just case. Lizzy flew over head and when Shadow spoke to the Admiral Lizzy added, " Admiral Hack sir kick my Father in the balls for me please Sir." Lizzy's fighter was holding together but she was beat up like all the rest.

 Lizzy will then fly with the shuttles and head back to the Hermes. She hoped Izzy was okay, this battle was a tough one. She was also glad they finally have her Father again and this time he would pay for his actions.

Henry kept an eye on Gla as she lurched along.

"You come back to BioTech when we reach the Hermes and I'll make sure that you are looked after, Gla," he told her.

Mila picked up on Her Human's concern for Gla and positioned herself beside the limping larg, providing moral if not physical support.

From her position on the roof Izzy would film the entire exchange that took place between the Admiral, Captain Maris and the Demon General with her capturing the moment that Maris confessed to orchestrating the plasma attack as well the surrender of the Imperial army, the General handing over Maris without an argument, the Demon seemingly glad to be rid of him, and the sentencing of the EDT troopers present on the station. It was with the screams of the EDT being devoured by the fleets Largs in the background that Izzy would follow the Admiral and the pair of high value prisoners back to the surface where the shuttles were waiting to take them back to the Hermes.
