 there were People in the Condo, some to act as cover for the party..some? partying , ebcause they did not know what was goign on...

 the pregame for the Athena Game  was almost over as Commercials for new action figures  and new  captain Lighting Vids   ran.

  Back at the Breakfast area, the  window  had the  heavy drapes  drawn.. Stefi was down the Hall  at the 'med tech  room' on Shadow's  wing of the  Condo..

 Beth  was tapping away  setting up the target Profiles.use  Vidboard  two... sent the Signal....

 Shadow  moves  to the Vidboard, Call up the ;Lights Out ' signal, and sends it out to the  crew...knowing, only those   Involved  would understand it.

Henry wandered over with Mila trotting at his heels.

"Do you need us for anything tonight?"

  as people filtered in  Shadow  smiled  at  Henry... Shade  sat on a  stool by the counter,That depends on You, Doc?   The Admiral is working his way across the roof... he'll show us the targets... i did  see one  one Everest Mount?... you have been there before?

Zob knew he had to work tonight so he didn't indulge himself with the drinks, as he wandered in he took up position leaning against the wall, "So when are we gonna go out on assignment together?" Zob asked Shadow with a smirk it was always a fun mess when Shadow was involved.

::chuckles:: we'll see what the Admiral throws  at us..... regardless  how this Night goes?... Me and Shade   have  a Bonus round to take care of.

 Flores    said,I got My   bow,  and the extra  weapons are in Shadow's room.. I'm good  for driving.

Zob nods and when Flores spoke up about being good to drive this brought a grin to his face as he said, "Unlike Hemsley..."

"Starboard side, huh?" he asked.  His comm flickered with a simple video message and he grinned slightly.  For him, Delta Night started a few hours ago...but it was now official.  "Let me see what we can do..."  He started back to the van, not wanting to clue the guard in on the array of resources they could call on.  Messe trusted him...but trusted people could be turned...or interrogated, and give up valuable information...

As he got further away, he keyed his comm.  "Your timing is impeccable, Beth.  What kind of surveillance resources are there through the Stem?  Specifically, from my location on around the starboard side.  There's a group of traffickers moving kids off-season through one of the Stem docks...Messe's gone in through their front door, I'm hoping to drop in either between them and their dock, or right at their dock, and put a big crimp in their pipeline..."  He figured there wasn't a lot of surveillance in place...at least, not official surveillance.  But he also knew Beth had a knack for digging up resources that didn't officially exist, when it came to stuff like this.

"If all else fails, if you can give us the location of any Stem docks that currently have ships docked or are running higher on power...Hell, for that matter, if you can just navigate us to the next dock going starboard from my current location..."  It would be less than ideal...but it would be a starting point, and if it wasn't the dock the traffickers were using, odds were good they'd have to pass it...

Melia entered smelling faintly of smokewood but was, mostly due to her own inefficiency at packing the bowl only feeling a little relaxed. Over her shoulder she had a small bag filled with the various things she'd need.

  beth came Back on the COMs, To anyone watching  she  was  playing  'Fighters and footsoldiers"  a tech based RP  game with war tactics  and  character building.

   3d fighters  and troops moved on a  Holo map, but  under the  'game table' was the real Op  screens.

  Stem Cams  are, for crap here... maybe  gresh will change that... from the outside....we  have....... 4 frigates standing off  the length of the  Stem on the  'Stem Starboard" ( as it is labeled).

 .. 3  of them have Loading lights on..which means.. they are waiting thier   turn to  dock at the  Lowers or  uppers  arms.... The   4th one is   standing off  from  Stem Starboad # 44... I would say that's  where you want to go?.. Numbers on the starboard  are Even... so?
 you got a good  Mile to get there?

  Shadow   pipes in.....Just Like   Fuji and Olympus.. the  Dock  Numbers    are painted  on the inside and outide of the Stem... can't  Miss the  Numbers... they are Bigger the Larry's appetite!

  Cora   came  over  and saidthey are Just about here...havig trouble  getting away from suits...

Upon entering Shadow’s condo Harry would casually saunter over to where Beth and the others were currently sitting ”So have we got any playmates for a girl like me?” she asked, deciding that she’d wait until she’d seen what was on offer before going to collect her gear. When all was said and done she didn’t have to take part so if there was nothing that suited her then she could always go back to the party.

 Sam walks in and heads for a seat next to Beth, and then says," Hi Beth we are getting all ready, where do you need me and how can I help, oh and we have the folder ready as well."

 Meari will walk in looking a little lost to what was going on but it looked official to some degree, she did over hear what harry said and was very interested, she said," Yes are there any playmates I could have fun with as well, I would like to help out if my services could be useful in this endeavor?"

    Garrat comes in from talking to the children, and sending his Cheif of security back to the ship with a full belly.

    "Harry, if anyone were bad girl enough to bring a misguided soul over from EDT it would be you. Though I wish I could pair you up with a Dwarf from the iron shield clan, they're good men, fun drinkers, and by what I hear, damn good lovers once you get used to the beard."

"Copy that...44.  Thanks, Beth, you just saved us potentially hours of hunting people down."  As they got back to the van, Roy opened the door and climbed in.

"Starboard 44...there's a frigate setting up to dock there, everything else bound for the stem is standing off for now.  Should be about a mile...I want a drive-by, initially, just so we can scan it visually and see what we're up against...drive on a little further and drop down out of their view and we'll work our way back driving on the streets so they don't see us coming.  Messe's chasing down a child-trafficking ring, and they apparently grabbed a couple of upper-class kids at the game this time around so the heat is on."

He turned in his seat, so Nagy and Lyri could see him a little more clearly.  "The plan, such as it is, is for us to drop in on the dock and shut down their operation there, and intercept the runners that Messe is chasing...let her chase them right into our hands.  The drive-by is to see if we can manage that with the firepower we have on hand, or if we need to get some assistance.  Depending on the situation, I may call for Jax or Nifty...or both...and Lyri's and my sniper rifles, and maybe an extra body or two with SMGs or assault rifles.  But we'll figure that out once we see what we're up against."

 The Van   went dwon the    stem ..  staying above the   Buildings.  Most folks wouldn't see them, but everyone in the Van has been in Stem Hunts before... a kids here  darting into some rubble..   a pair  or or of Gangers   walkign the streets   with weapons  as  they lok up  hoping to see  see a Hover  car  landing.  off in the distance  , Flashes of weapons   fare   as  disagreements  are settled.

  they could see Meese  and her  troopers go into  a door  on the  third  flight up.

 Lyri Points ahead to the  Massive  numbers....if they are ehaded to that dock?  it  doesn't  matter  which access   runnel they are  Using, they have  to reach that dock..right?

 there were   at lest   7   people   outside the    door of the third Level, there were more Milling around  at Ground level, while  a pair of   Vans parked at the bottom of the stairs.. the  headlights  were on    as  gangers unloaded    bundles.

 at the  door    one  large man  Tossed   a Bundle through the  door  , then began to    take the steps back down.

 why not  just take the Vans up?

 too much  to notice.. Even EverSEC  would have  to check somehting  out if they saw  Vans  Unlaoding  near Docks that are suposed to be used.

 Lotsa  people on the ground.. decent Number on the stairs...who knows how many in the Docking bay?

    Garrat listens to Spencer's last com and facepalms.  "I finally get my hide tied to a battle ready ship with a nearly complete crew and we have a frigate involved in illegal actions off the stem.  Tell me there is an ESN ship that can get close enough to pin them when the time comes without arousing suspicion."

Henry nods.

"Yes, we went up the mountain before. It's a good place for largs and Mila to range over and find anything amiss, and deal with it."

Hearing Garrat’s comment she would give him a bit of a funny look, with her not really sure how to take the idea of him wanting to match make her with a dwarf, instead she would settle with answering his other comment ”so they can stab me in the back later? I think not Gar, if see any EDT I’m wasting them no matter what they say” she said in a cool voice. The EDT had messed with her once too often to be receiving any mercy or second chances from her.

"Looks like we have a winner.  And that also looks like a lot of people for four of us to tangle with, especially with Hawkeye packing a Sanri blaster..."  While the blasters were devastating at close range, they were definitely a close-range weapon.

"How fast can the cavalry get here, Beth?  We'd probably want at least another four...six or eight would be better.  If we can shut this down in a hurry, everyone would be free for additional ops later."

He glanced at Lyri.  "That's a lot of people to fight through, to come up from the street...you suppose they're prepared for a random vanload of armed personnel to take the direct approach?  I mean, we already have EVERSEC checking into it, so what's the harm in drawing more attention to the place?"  He started looking around for the bags.

"What do we have in the way of grenades, exactly?"  If they were going to intercede, they needed to move fast...the longer the vans below had time to offload, the more potential collateral damage was accumulating in the dock.

Yeah my Sanri Blaster is better suited to last ditch defenses and close in" she says eyeing the situation.

Closest I can do for grenades is either recommend  Shadow special or I think I have a bottle of rubbing alcohol in this bag. Cut up a bandage for a fuse and you could make a pretty decent molotov cocktail, but that's about maxed my offensive capacity. Hawkeye explains ruffling through the bag

   Garrat got on his com, “Joseph, you got the message?  We might need backup immediately.  All who want to come help in a stem operation are free, but I need a base crew, the vulture on standby and the other two pilots in the shuttles.”

“Your kidding me, your pulling the Entire ship into delta night?

  Garrat Sighs, “no, I’m getting us ready to help prevent a huge number of children from getting shipped off to be demon appetizers, speaking of which we have Naragrans to feed.  Do you want to argue with THEM?”

    “Okay, but Missy is asking questions.  We can’t continue to use LG01 resources as our own.

  Stefi  lead  a   cleaned up, Patched  up ( sore arm from a shot) m Can out of the 'Med tech' room.  and led him out to the  Kids  for eats and  drinks, and ..hopefully..fun.

   Shadow   listened to Roy as the others Talked , He Looked over  at  Harry and pointed at her with a Nod.. She has the Right Off it... in the  end... you are on premise  when  at EDT or Empire   schumk  surrenders.... any doubt, what so  ever?  You put them down... if you let one go, and  they kill someone esle?.. its  just as bad as if you killed them  yourselves, You can count on one hand  the people i let slide

 then he  looks at the wall towards  the  Party  and abck to the  'gaming Table",..but there were some  i should have never  trusted at all.

 She Opened that  packet  and begins to  type up  things  that are on the Lower   right hand  screen, under the Game screen that has a   full battle  of   little  Holo warriors  and fighters.

Arnie    'made drinks" at the  kitchen counter, but most were soft drinks or  Juice that looked alot like  the hard stuff

 Hack   stepped  back a bit to  let the folks who wanted to take a shot step up.he  began to recite as beth Typed.

 London, has a Food  and resource   transport company in the  Uppers, he works   under  Honey's Comet' who is a big  mover and shaker for the EDT... EverSEC  has  had   actions  filed  about  Kidnapping  and transport of  people and  goods  to EDT or Empire Outposts. It is  more   suspect, since there haven't been  any of his ships  attacked  by Pirates  or Enemy forces...

Using Beth's talents, we seeded her    Information street with some   false falgs and a few Juciey tidnits.. the tidbits  were  all attacked, and the  false flags were made to look as if the 'bugged out' in time...she is accused of  Spying , stealign Fund  from the   ESN and APF, and..selling   Info and tech data

 , but they are lightly armored  and  made for sped and stealth..she   has used their  resources  to move EDT and Empire

Sottish.. big transporter of  everything that  the EDT  and Empire  want or  needs under the Guise  of  'Haulway Transport"... nothing has ever  been turned up in Eversec searches. We  must assume they  move High value assets, and..perhaps  kidnapped   people...

 ..Male , Sanri, Merc Captain, was once...at one time on the fat  track in the Sanri Military, until he was caught, allowing   Empire   people to take   wounded and dead to be usedf as food...he was  drummed out of the Sanri Military  and now  has a  big Hate for  anything APF...

 He  runs at ;east   Half of the Stem Gangers...with one of  his Mercs   as a captain for  each Gang...again? primary on this , is kids and Young  adults  and  females..

 This is Doc henry's  job... Disna  and his Larg  partner  will be bringing the Largs  down to land  at the  Gate  close to where the  sNowcats and  snow Hover  cars  are rented... They will be  brinig  Gregor as well..may was well get the little one field work... You can take  Roll with you is you wish..but  you should have at least  two people  with you besides  Disna and Puskie ..You will be Hunting for an Alleged  " Child containment ' area Under  Eererest Mount...it is supposed to be a holding area  for kids

    He looks at Hack "I've been listening to Spencer's coms.  I might be able to field some Mechs and pilots from my ship, and as I'm not even Delta fleet-Merc yet, my crew is fairly under the radar.    This will tie into hunting Koonish anyway, though I suspect some of my crewmembers want a piece of Nalba.

   It sounds like Nalba is responsible for killing off the Watch-Dog Merc Companies and many of the colonies they were looking after.  Does Koonish work under her?  It might be operations in the stem can draw her out.

  I can also see if my Naragrans want to go hunting and we need someone to watch that Frigate from the outside.  If you have a better choice I'd prefer it but the Immigrant's song is available.

 Sam opened her file and then sent the copy to the screens so everyone could see, then she reads out," There were  some people who tried to  'deface' the memorial  and a   section was cut out of the  metal that  served  as  both Lady's  grave on the planet and  her Memorial.

 Burains  do not  bother with  Graves,  dead  a buried  to 'give back ' to the planet. But  any marked   put up are Sacrosanct  and defacing one  carries a death sentence  ( paying the dead back, with the death of those who defiled their memory )

  Two people a Man and woman were Gunned down  by BuraSEC..the other  two vanished, no one  found the  chunk of metal.

It is Officially  'waiting for   a client's goods..'.under normal operations  they would have  to dock..with the fleet in  and ships getting loaded and repairs?.. they can  lounge outside the  stem and will be called  'in order' that thier Goods  arrive...which?  if they are getting goods  from the stenm..no one will know, and
 they'll never be called... they are a Ghost out there.

 Hack Looked to Garrat,..there's alot of moving  parts her  SGT...everyone of them important.  Right now , everyone of our ships  are docked, even the   smaller ones  share  a docking arm..Everest  cap ships  and thier   supports  are  out and  around    the  Iron  Cloud that is the Delta  Fleet.. that means?  at best.. EverSEC  was  assault  shuttles on partrol out there.. so? No one is going to Challenge   'The Mouse"...and no  one  will come to her  aid, unless that line of frigates  are Sister Ships

 Doesn't look like , Admiral..  they are  from  companies that  range from Nivar  to  Zolth  and Astra

With the arrival of Shadow and the Admiral the briefing would get underway and the targets would be revealed along with their crimes, many of whom seemed to be linked to people smuggling and child abductions. Hearing Hemsly's comment Harry would turn to give him a mocking look as she replied "what's the matter Hemsly? Do the big, bad gangers scare you?" rolling her eyes before turning to Beth "what intel have you got on Lei? Any idea where I can find her? where she works? security details, family? that sort of thing" she asks wanting a little more to go on before she fully committed herself.

She walked in, looking around and feeling a little out of place but also knowing that she wanted to be a part of this. She made note of where Arnie was but that was as far as that went. Instead, she approached Shadow. "I...only have a vague idea of what this whole thing is but I'd like to help in whatever way I can..."

She nodded though the tense facial expression was very off-putting and she suddenly hoped that Arnie wasn't going to get in trouble. It wasn't really his fault that she had spied the tattoo and pestered him about it. "Um...to be fair...I kind of accidentally came upon what this is but I would like to help and if that means being a driver and back up just in case, then I will do my part. It's the least that I can do..."

  Captain Si   gave her  a Smile,then?   Listen and learn, You'll drive  for someone... its  always better    when we have piltos driving.

Nikki had been quiet listening and watching.  All Targets were intriguing.  About someone taking part of 'Lady' was a horrid thought,  Running a gamut from filthy grave robbers to flat out jackasses.
"Sounds like Wung-Ti might have old Earth Tong connections" she mused  She looked at the list "I'm up for Brickworth.  Sounds like he is selling kids...Scot too"

 Hack Nodded     as  nikki   spoke  he had   one  arm around his waist the other  arm rested on it , while the hand held his  chin.

  Seems to be  Everest's  resource...Kids... make sense?.. people  drop off  kids here... who the  9 hells comes out this   way , except merchants... Hawkeye took the rifle a bit warily as if accepting a poisonous snake but once she had it more firmly in her grasp she settled down. She wasn't that great of a marksman, but what Roy was asking for she could do. Taking out the local badass merc was a pride point, but if done right she could either capture or eliminate a decent lift capacity for nominally aligned with EDT forces. On the other hand eliminating the Sanri eliminated a feeder of children and women into Demon and demon aligned hands. That she hated and had personal stake in.

So if you want to survive tonight you need to listen to me and do exactly as I say"

Roy nodded.  "Pick your approach...once you start shooting, Hawkeye and I will hit the dock.  By the time Flores gets here, they should be trying to dig us out and paying no attention to another incoming van."

It was risky, to be certain...but waiting only increased the potential innocents at risk and gave the frigate more time to dock, which would be that many more people they'd have to handle.

And depending on what was on the dock, he could create enough of a mess to cut any effective movement through it, so Messe would be chasing her targets into an effective dead end.

  Getting  into the VAn,  Shadow points to the driver  seat for  Billie.

  McCann  is  on the  southwest end of the beach..about   3 blocks back.. 5  storty house..big pool in the back head towards there in the traffic   stream, break off a block away  and  kill the lights,, and curise  so we  can see what we have.

 Shade  sat in the back with Zob . Meari and Sarah, Shadow looked back,This is a sabctioned Op..its not the op you guys wanted to come with me  on?... If you want to help take  care of this?.. Mila had met snow before and, like many dogs, enjoyed playing in it. She raced in circles around the largs, kicking up snow and yipping at them until they too were running around.

"It is likely that any entrances will be hidden, Roll, so yes we'll have to search. At least it should be a bit warmer inside, the largs don't seem to like the cold. Neither do I!"

Henry was wearing a long shapeless wool coat. It served to hide boarding armour and shotgun, as well as keep him warm!

  Supe  and Tucker    got up from the couch where the  kids were, they  were watching the Game, until  Captain Lighting   was turned on..so they stayed there  for that.

  They went in the  back to see what Goodies   the trucks had.. Supe  came out  with  Pulse side arm and a Hard Ammo carbine... Jug listened as Harry and others also volunteered to go after the Wang-Chung woman, or what ever her name was.  Harry would not go alone, which was good.  The tall massive human, Wolfrim, had ask for the Gava help.  That could not be passed up either.  Learning new things would have to wait for proper time "You need Gava, Gava will help" she said to him and gathered the instructions for the taxi and how to get where they needed to be.

 Meari nodded at LC Shadow and said," Sir what do you wish me to do?" She smiled at him, like she needed a nice warm up.

"Engage at your discretion, Lyri...if you can pick off a few solos before things get too active, go ahead, but at some point, it'd be nice if you made a LOT of noise and got people up in the dock thinking they needed to rush the street to deal with an interloper.  When you start making noise, we'll go in from above."  If there wasn't an open route directly into the dock, there had to be a connecting point from somewhere that wasn't the street.

"When we hit, it's going to be as flash and trash as I can manage with three grenades and some extra pulse mags, plus whatever's on the dock.  Hawkeye, hold your fire until I say something, but then you shoot at anything that moves until you see our people again."  Half under his breath, he added, "Next time, Spencer, take your damned rifle with you..."  He had multiple options that would have drastically shifted the style of engagement, if he'd brought them, but SMGs weren't made for sharp-shooting.

"Flores, when you see fireballs going up in the air, you'll know where to come.  Drop off Nifty somewhere that he can provide fire support and bring everyone else in heavy.  Everything is on your go, Lyri..."  He flew the van up higher to get an overhead view of the docks...look for an open approach, see what kind of cargo might be laying out there waiting to be loaded...and just generally get an overview of what kind of chaos he could create in a few seconds.

He glanced over at Hawkeye.  "After this is all over, remind me to have Hemsly give me some more specific instruction on demolitions..."  He was a Marine, so he'd had the very basics...but he was a sniper by training, his answer to problems was to shoot them from a long ways off, not blow them up.  Sometimes, however, blowing them up was a far more desirable tactic...

Nikki began to move to go get her gear and change into her more 'this is business' attire outfit (i.e.: her combat gear for the op).  She gathered with Brivet, Supe, and Tucker, plus anyone else who would join them.

  The grenade  flew  even as one of the    Big men Jerked  and flew side ways , droping the  wriggling back he was carrying.  the grenade  exploded    near the   2nd   catwalks Up ,casuing one of the mend  on the landing  to  grab his chest and face  and fall to his  Knees,

 The Van  swooped  down   Jax  hit the Room  , stumbling     as he crouched to  take Lyri's  sniper  rifle to her..

 another Man fell , mysteriously, by a Van closest  to Nifty's   spot.

 The  Flores  Banked  as   Role  fired  two grenades   on the stem entrances  side of the Three   parked Vans... the explosions   droped  a pair of    gunmen who had, been out of sight just before that.

  Shadow and Shade   moved  quickly from  Shadow to shadow.. Shade  tried to bleep quietly as he pointed to the transformer.  Shadow nodded  , and they went to the ned ot he  grounds, where the    fences were up, Iron wrought , easy enough to  climb for Shadow, not so much for Shade..

 Shadow  brought Shade in real close  as he opened his COM...OK..No easy way in for me... i can't trust that the  fense isn't  wired..if it is, your toasted before you know it...so..here's  whats Gonna happen. I'm gonna blow the trans former   with   something. then  , more or less throw  Shade over the fence and   then follow him over... when you hear the explosion..you'll have..maybe.. 30 seconds to  get throught he gate...once    trough, disable the  controls so they can't lock it down

Lights  on the grounds  and all around the block went out...

 he   cupped his hand  Shade  Ran and Shadowed Growned  as he  Lifted   Shade up and Over the   8 foot   fence,  then  climbed  like  a  Gava  up the   palisade himself.. Shade was already runnign ahead of  him, two large  'alien lookign' Dogs  carged out  and were  cut to ribbons  by Shades   SMG.

 Once Meari was on the roof and the power went out, she moved fast and furious to take out the automated guns with her Udenese swords, if there was any guards they wouldnt know what hit them, as she went for removing heads instead of body shots. Less chance of them making any noise if their head was gone. This is where her Commando training could help her out alot.

 Once the roof was cleared of guns and guards she would access her situation and wait for further orders once she figured out what she had on the roof.

Changing into the nights clothes she and the others loaded up into the van for Brivet to drive.  "Okay, we need to search and procure any and all evidence on this guy. I have a feeling he is human and other species trafficking.  If he's a bother we'll remove him.  Rescue any victims"
As the others got in they soon shut the doors and headed for their target

Mila indicated on one shallow gulley, spotting a hidden entrance. As attention turned towards her, Freddie spotted another entrance - this one a cave - and let out a howl to announce it.

  Puskie  ran over  to the  Cave,    Followed  by Gla  and Hool

   Roll  and  Gregor scampered over to Mila   while Larry stood up on his hind legs looking around.

we have a  hole in back of the  cave!  Mila  found a   lid  for a trap door.

  Vesper   flew the VAn   like  a cross between a sports car  and a fighter.. she was grinning....this is  my  first time  for this!..Sooooooo excited!

 getting  near the  manse when Lei Wong-ti lived, it  was built  like a cake.. a big lower    floor.. a smaller   second story on top. and   a small tower-type  3rd story.. the  top of the  tower  was  Rounded, and it was plain to see, it was added, well have, the manse was built.

  she had a  6 foot  'stone' wall  around her   grounds   topper   with  Jagged  bits of  something.. there was a  clear   20 yards   around the building   That was  Just Lawn, perfect Kiling

 at least  12   EverSEC troopers  , walked in  pairs  around the grounds.. Movments  of  dark clad   people could be seen on the   second level. Emergency lights  were  on..smoke  came from several  transformers in the area as  the  'feedback' from somthign over loaded the  safety protocols  on the transformers.

 there  were   flashes  of  animals  runnign around the lawn as well, they  would    dart in and out of the   flowering Bushes   that were stuck in 'clumps' by the walls of the building.

  Brivet   brought the  Van around Cole  Brickworth's  estate. it was a nice  , solid lookign Home.. three story  home  with  an attached Garage .. three    hover   cars, fancy and  clean  were  parked off to the side of the Garage

  the lights  were on  down  stairs inmost of the windows, a  few lights on  the 2nd floor.

 two  troopers  walked the lawn  with   some Big furry  bear-dog

 Shadow  ran across the  grass,  as the   transformer  and  SMG  Nosie    caused   red Emergency lights  to come on, giving  an eerie   cast to the night and the grass.

  Meari had  two  Men from Opposite  sides  Of the  Roof  Shout  at here  as she destroyed the  first two     turrets  and   shot at her  for the third.. By the  time the third  was destroy   they  were    charging across the   roof   shooting..

 Zob   saw the  explosions    and here  the SMG fire  ( as well as seeign  Shade's  muzzle flashes)

 the red Lights  Popped on , the Gate  was some what ajar as the   power  was off... two Guards  came out of the  guard  shack , lookign towards   the transfor,  seeing Shadow's   form sprinting  across the  grass...

Zob saw the explosion and moved quickly to the southern gate with his suppressed assault rifle up putting 3 round bursts into the heads of any gate guards that were present before slipping his way inside the unpowered gate to disable the gate controls so they couldn't lock the group in.

'Well here they come...' he thought to himself as he found a garden statue to duck behind for cover as he planned his advance on the house from across the yard.

"Dammit...I I forgot silencers" she looked at Supe "Next time remind me to have atleast 1 silenced weapon" she grinned.  She used her scope as a binocular of sorts and scanned the windows that were both lit up and not, then looked for other external security measures.  In short casing the joint.  "I am thinking he has guests...other wise why have rides parked outside and have a garage"

"I fucking hate attack animals" Harry groaned as she surveyed the house and surrounding gardens with the number of people and animals patrolling the gardens making entry via the ground floor impossible...if she could even get over the wall that is. This unfortunately left her with only one alternative option "ok, bring us in close to the second storey roof and I'll jump off, then you need to loiter somewhere out of sight and wait for me to call, ok?" Harry said as she unfastened her seat belt and took hold of the door handle. With any luck she'd be able to gain access to the house via the third storey tower, assuming of course that she wasn't spotted making her entrance or broke her ankle jumping out of the van.

As Vesper made her approach, Harry would could a look out for any sign of sentries on the roof and their positions, her over hand hovering near the silenced pistol at her hip just in case she needed to take any of them out as they made their approach.

 Meari moved as fast as she could to take out the turrets, for a large woman she was quite fast.  She saw the two men coming at her, she felt two hits, not horrible but would need attention after she killed these guys. She decided to end this quickly and use 2 pulse arrows, one to each guy shooting at her, she would talk to Granmod Lilith for some more and buy them.

 She took cover behind the destroyed turret and then fired at pulse arrow with her bow at the closest first then getting the next pulse arrow and firing at the second guard. She will aim for area with least amount of armor, if no helmet head shots.

  Shadow  and  Shade reached the  wall, of the building...Shade and I are movign to the rear entrance  where th e pool is, No manner what they have, we're going in that way... Check the driveway for an under ground  rampway..it  will be  easy to  tell..look for a
 seam with  some  mind of metal..if you don't  see  any, he doesn't have one..

 Zob sees  two Picture  windows on  either side of a  big  double  door each half of the door  has  a  Roaring Lion's head...the  Door knockers  are its   eyes.  Its  quiet on the roof   after   Meari drops  the two guards.. a Blinging read  light is  above the  door way  down stairs.

 Billie and Sarah see two Black  cars  pull up where Shadow  blew the transformers..8 people get out, all clad  in Black    and armed, they cover each other  as they go over the fence, two by two,

 Brivet said,  I'll do that if you want?..but us   rookies  are supposed to be your life line out of here

 Vesper   lower  the  speed  to 'almost falling'.. the hover  vamp  slipped  down from the darkness

  Beth's  voice    came in, a cross between amused  and concerned...Lei's  profile reads like   some despot's  biography..because of that Alien stuff  socked away in China, the Chinese  felt they were   the 'gods' besties.. well those two ships that  were sent off, were never ehard from again, so...

 Anyway..  those animals you see are  bred to kill, the ESN guards  are just there to portect the animals!.... reading some society stuff?  she  has   snakes, big cats  and  Alien beasties  just  walking around her home..and  some kind of 'club' she has, were they get to wear Black suits  and  red stars, as her   'household guard".. Shadow breaks down the op and she nods, "We'll sit back and provide support between Burian commando/lights out team and myself we shouldn't have any problems. I'm not sniper but I'm no slacker either on the range."

Setting down on the roof the Burian team moved to take up support position with Sarah and the SGT MAJ holding rifles and the two Burian Commandos holding their bows arrows nocked and ready. When the two cars pull up she taps the two Burian commandos on the shoulder and points them that direction, "Shadow we have two vehicles at the transformer, 8 individuals dressed in all back. We're gonna see about taking them out quiet like right now." As she finished the soft sound of two bow strings being released nearly simultaneous came from behind her.

Hakweye checked her carbine reminding herself that these were slavers and despite her wish for them to stand trial for their actions, not doing something about them now would mean more slaves, and them likely operating for a long time to come before the bill was paid. Zob moves up to the door and grabs a toaster from his pack and slaps it on the door and sets it for 10 seconds making sure he was out of the blast radius.

Once the explosion went off he pulled the pin on a frag and tossed it through the doors, when that exploded he would would sweep the entry way with the demon heavy pulse MG killing anyone who was in his path as he pushed inside the house.

Zob continued letting the rounds fly until nothing was left standing, when he saw Shade he gave him a nod and let him continue clearing the area by the dining room area as Zob turned back to investigate the front area of the house to clear out any other rooms in the area they may have missed. he was aware of enemy presence outside but he didn't know where they were at or if Meari and the others got them all so he did his best to be vigilant.

 Meari headed down the stairs her bow away and her shotgun out, enough play time. Meari will check the stairs and then try and see if she sees or hears anything.  She will then cautiously head down the stairs and if it has a weapon it dies, period. Meari will look at the others behind her and move down the stairs waving for them to follow and cover.

Quietly they moved to get out of the van unobserved and into position she would whisper "Power goes take out the lawn guards and that what ever it is they are walking.  Supe with me, Brivet and Tucker around back and find an entrance or make one.  Take out any security and hope there are no hidden tunnel escape routes.  Get ready to move"  Until the power would blow Nikki raised her rifle and focused on the beardog thing looking to get a quick clean head shot through its eye.  "I have the animal" her voice all this time was cool and quiet.  power went out and she fired as the others did.

  Shade  moved    smoothly, his shorter  stature  covered by alot of the  furniture.  he   opened   some   drawers in a cabinet, but all dishes...most of them shot up now.

With the van silently dropping towards the building, Harry would pause to listen to the recent piece of intel Beth had to offer before quietly groaning ”I really fucking hate attack animals” before dropping out of the van and onto the roof. As soon as she’d landed she would draw one of her silenced pistols and scan the immediate vicinity for any sentries, listening for the telltale signs of footsteps or talking into radio’s.

Should the coast prove tho be clear she would cautiously advance, searching for a way into the the third storey tower.

   Vesper    took the VAn up slowly,  the  rush of air  was only slightly noisy  compared to  other Haver  vehicles   movign   along the 'streets' that  were used  for  wheeled traffic  and  walking, but also for    air vehicles to 'keep in line"  The tower had  some  Chinese  written on it. the   'dome' was new, compared to the rest of the Building.

  4  'stairs '  lead   down to the  2nd  story.One set in the Middle of of  eat side.  People walked  the  2nd floor, 4  Black clad  people  and  two Worts, the  worts were free to  run. The  were  Lookign around , sniffing, one  was lookign up in the  air. The guards  didn't  pay much attentions

 Lizzy follows her driving instructions,  when they get close she says, Ok bride to me where do you want drop off and where should I wait.

 Meari will wait for any vackup from tge Burians , then Commando style check the rooms closest to her, and move forward cgecking rooms as she goes. Shot gun if she meets anyone, if she sees a weapon s h d will open fire.

 Once everything calns down and people head out on ops, Sam looks around and Beth gas full control she walks over to the board abd says, Looks like things are good here, I am going to see what a sweet innocent tortured comms officer can get out of our guests, any objections? Sam gave an evil smile and waited for the responses.

As fire opened up down on the street, Roy flew the hover van into the dock area, casually, as though it was just a routine delivery.  Once he was through the doors, he began visually searching for anything that looked potentially volatile...

She made for the door after the patrol was down.  She shot out a window as she had super take the door.  Any security pods they would shoot out.  "Check and disable any vehicles." she gestured towards the garage.  She looked for stairs going up or down, perhaps a lift.

Alight, Lizzy go ahead and take us in quiet like no lights. If they appear to be out on the lake we see about popping some holes in their boat hopefully far enough from shore for us to sit back and shoot fish in a barrel. If not we'll assess the situation based on the activity at the compound. Madsen, Scarlett keep an eye out for any animal pens or signs of guard critters we should be aware of." She says watching out the windows trying to get a read on the situation and determining where it was most likely Koonish would be located.

As she watched she commented, "You know Lizzy in retrospect we should've invited Izzy out. That drone of hers could be mighty useful as long as she doesn't transmit anything to the news networks." Tali's small size and maneuverability made the drone potentially useful for sneaking into a dark area and getting a look in without tipping their hand.

After the first two went down the remaining six flinched when the MG opened up. As far as Sarah could tell they didn't know where the arrows had come from. All together, on three. With the four of them taking shots they could potentially eliminate another four of the people garbed in all black. Her's a MacDoona's rifles would give away their position, but if they get four that'd only leave 2 for the four of them to eliminate. She begins her count, and squeezed the trigger on 3. The pulse rifle went off along with the sharp crack of SGT MAJ MacDoona's hardammo rifle and the the twang of the two bows launching arrows at the remaining response team.

With only a solitary Wort having noticed anything out of the ordinary, Harry would slowly make her way to the stairs with her keeping to the shadows and making as little noise as possible, her pistol extended out before her ready to take down anything that entered her field of fire. She also kind of wished she could read Chinese as no doubt what was written about the tower could prove useful.

Upon reaching the foot of the stairs she would seek out her first victim, prioritising the Worts over the human guards, partly due to how dangerous they would prove in the darkness and partly because of how shit scared of them she was. Upon finding a target she would take careful aim and fire a pair of shots, the silencers reducing the hard ammo rounds to a coughing sound, as she set about silently taking out the sentries and their attack animals.

 Supe   went to the Vehicles parked    he  shot up the   control panel. on  each   car, then went to the Garage...

 He saids  quietly into the COMs.....door's   locked, can open it....

  Nikki kicks  the door open  and  screams  and shouts  are  heard.

 caught a  couple runners.. Party people , I guess... thier bad luck...

  The first Wory  Jerks   and  Yowled  as the   Rounds  hit  it  sending it  twisting  and  scrambling      on the  roof  as if  trying to  get up... a   gurgling  roar  was  heard  off to her   right.. Troops  started to look around  as one  ran to the stricken  , dying , beast...

  That wasn't want bothers   harry... The sound behind her, of  an angry   Wort.... she could hear the   scrape of   claws across the  very roof she had  just quit....

  The Van  came  down  as the   men  were    shooting  at Flores  who  somehow managed to throw  the VAn around  like a Mantis in  The Black.. Rolfe    had to settle on sending grenades  at , what ever  he saw  before the VAn was jerked around

 Then.. things  turned,  The Van  collected more then its  then was comfortable, the meta glass  shattered  at some point..but Lyri had  her  sniper rifle now.

  One  guy  was  thrown  over the  hood  of the closest Van  near  her,  , and Jax  suddenly   turned and  waited  on the other  Side  of the  door way.. two angry Gangers  Came  Up  and  Saw Lyri popping off shots. , but that was it.. was they were almost   cut in half  By  Jax's  SMG... he took thier  Pulse rifles and pistol  ,    running low  back to Lyir..

   Drop the  weapons in a  Pile  and   dragged  a body over, flinging the man out over  the   side  to  splatter  on the street,, then did the same with  the other..  Lyri dropped   a  Guy  runnign to  try to get a better   shot at the roof tops  and he  rolled   down the iron stairs  like a rag doll.

  Nifty  dropped  a Guy, from  above   the   door  where  Roy  entered with his vanwatch the Catwalks,,  they must be sending  gut up from other  check points.


 As Roy Cruised into the   dock entrance.. he  could see the  frigate  off station by almost a mile..., there were three Bins  with  struggling  bags in them.. Nagy  looks  at Cat... They either got  scared,  or they are trying to get product off  station as  quick as they are able.

 the lake looked  quiet.. but the   house was    rustic. Not  a log cabin, but not  'modern' looking at all.

  there  were some out   buildings, smaller  houses    with  Lights  on, only one set of lights  were on in the Bigger   2 story house...

  they could see   some shadows  movign   around the trees  at  serves  as  'the back yards'  with the front, facing the lake.

As the first Wort went down with far more noise than she really wanted, she would take a moment to fire a shot into the trooper that went to the dying Wort's assistance before hearing the growling noise coming from behind her. Quickly drawing the second pistol she would turn on the spot and fire both weapons into the other beast with her not ceasing until it had either dropped dead or she'd run out of ammunition. Once the Wort was dealt with she would turn her attention back to the troopers who were hopefully yet to locate her within the shadows.

   The  troper s  dropped, but was  wounded.. He    shouted   , even as  the wort  finished  struggling and  lay still.

  The   Wort  that Harry   fired into was   only  5 yards  away, and maybe   3 yards  higher   as the  rounds   tore into it  as  it     cried  out In anger  and Pain, the  sheer  pounding  it  took from the two pistols    stopped it  from  doing much  more then   Claw  at the air, before it   dropped  like a newly washed Muppet.

     the   stomp  of   feet  as the  wounded  trooper   pointed  and the HAil of  Gun fire  hit all round  Her..

 the  Hiss  of  a  Air car    came  hitting  three  guards  from Harry's left  and sending them   flying like  broken  dolls  across the     roof.. two guards from Harrys    right  still fired. one  talkign, loudly, in Chinese  on his COM.

   Shadow, Shade  and Zob looked around the Bottom floor.. there were   5  bodies , not counting those that died from the kitchen...

  There was a metal door way goign  Down... and the steps goign up. Shadow   waves the others  back  and  taps on the  door.., he gingerly  touched it with his gloved hand.

 Locked?...  I could pick it, but  we don't have time...

Zob was looking around for any survivors and not finding any when Shadow called them over to the metal door, "Grab a toaster from my pack and blow it open, we gotta keep moving I'm sure there will be more EDT on the way if they aren't here already"

During this time he kept the heavy pulse weapon trained on the entrances to the house so Shadow could do what he was gonna do, so far he wasn't regretting his decision to bring along his MG it helped even the odds.

Billie frowned. "We've got more company...van at the gate...four out the back...one from the passenger side..." she said to Sarah as she unholstered her 9 mm pistol. Hitting the button to have the window roll partially down, Billie shited in her seat and took aim at the man who stepped out from the passenger side. With her target in sight, she squeezed the trigger. Her shots went wide, missing their mark and she cursed under her breath.

Alright, Scarlett and Madsen, who's better at long range shooting and who's better at in close fighting? Here's the plan, Lizzy's gonna bring us in tight to the roof of the log cabin. Myself and one other are gonna drop in quiet like and move fast before and defenders or guards get a chance to respond. With a little luck and some speed we get our mark, get a decent stash of creds and docs and set the place on fire and kick on out before anyone's wiser. The other will post up on the roof and make life hell for anyone coming from the other houses, or any guard critters they have around here. Plus they'll cover our exfil route and give Lizzy cover when we move to get out. Lizzy we're coming in flying tight to the trees fast for the roof. Fly it like your mantis if you need to. Any questions?" She explains expecting a few questions.

Lizzy headed for the destination, she went slow and dark when they got close, Lizzy replied," Yeah she didnt want to come she hates the LC to much but yeah she could do a lot of good and Tali could help out a lot. She was mad at me when she left, so not sure whats up."

 They got closer she listened to Melia and got her head on straight or they would all die. Lizzy smiles, cracks her knuckles and says," Ok hold on and get ready here we come."

 Lizzy went dark, used her instraments and flew real close to the trees, she did fly the van like her Mantis as much as she could but she got them to the roof as close as she could get as fast as she could get. " I will wait over by the trees call me when you need to get the hell out of dodge. I hope we get chased this van handles nice, I could have fun with this." Lizzy smiled and got ready to drop them on the roof.

Melia nods, "that's why we go fast and shoot first. Best case we get in fast enough we beat the alarm and are out before whatever security this guy has can bail him out. Worst case we're in for a fight and we end up having to call for backup, and we wish this van was actually a mantis."

With the carbine tucked over her shoulder she checks both her handguns, "ready, alright Lizzy bring us in."

When they reach the roof she out of the van quietly pulling her .45 hard ammo out ready, and angel steal throwing knife in her main hand. She moves towards a window to glance in her feet soft on the roof.

"Well, I suppose the smart thing to do is jam the outer hatch closed so they can't easily dispose of the evidence...although it would be a wasted gesture on their part...we already know what they're doing and so does EverSEC, one way or another...having evidence destroyed won't help them."

He angled the van, aiming to land behind the bins of people.  Anything built strong enough to hold that many squirming bodies should, he figured, withstand a little incidental weapons fire.  And it would get them close to the outer doors.

"Once we're down, Hawkeye, you put down suppressing fire...keep 'em hugging the Deck and hunting for cover.  Nagy, you pick off anyone dumb enough to poke their head up.  I'll go see about securing the door."  The van came 8n fast, and the landing was abrupt...but as soon as it was down, Roy cut engines and was out and moving, weapon ready to take down anyone that looked to be moving to intercept him.  He didn't look to Nagy or Hawkeye, trusting them to take care of their given assignments.

 Meari moved to the bathroom door but does not stand in front of it, she stands to the side with her shotgun ready, and kicks the door in and stays to the side to see what happens when the door opens.

As all hell broke loose all around her, Harry was vaguely aware of the fact that at least one of the bullets flying all around had actually hit her. No doubt later on when the adrenaline wore off it would hurt like hell, but for now she had more pressing matters to attend to, namely the bastards currently shooting at her.

With the pair of Worts now dead Harry could focus her attention on the remaining guards. Dropping into a crouch she would fire a pair of shots at the man that was currently more concerned about speaking into his comms than taking cover before firing another pair of shots at his mate. As soon as they were both dead she would be switching out the silenced pistols for the Uzi currently slung across her back now that the element of surprise was now well and truly gone.

In reply to Roy Spencer (msg # 176):

As soon as the van set down and the door opened Hawkeye set out laying down covering fire. She tried tobe careful with shots around the bins. "Watch those bins. Pretty sure they're full of prisoners" she says as she leans against the door laying down covering fire taking care to avoid sending too many careless shots towards the bins while laying down covering fire. Her shots were all aimed center of mass nothing fancy. Hitting when she could but also utilizing the concept of covering fire where she didn't have to hit to be effective. She just had to keep the heads down while the better shooters did their part.

The beam from Sarah's pulse weapon lit up the night warning one of the three who was running towards Zob, who managed to dive to the ground also fouling the shot of the commando. SGT MAJ MacDoona and the other commando had much better luck with their shots the commandos arrow piercing through the center of the enemy combatants head and Macs shot hitting the man in the center of the back.

Sarah and the rest of the Burian's adjusted trying to get another shot off before the remaining four figures ran out of view.

Zob you have 3 coming your way, Shade another coming to you. We're working on fixing that now. she says softly over the comm keeping the ground team appraised of the situation.

Zob overheard the com and handed the toaster to Shadow, "I have to entertain some guests get this door and continue on... ill catch up" he then stepped into the room the guy in the suit came out of and trained his sights on the front entrance ready to fire at the incoming forces.

  Rolfe  pumped  a grenade through the door and and sent  some  Gangers  , and parts of gangers  into ther dock..

 Maria   shouted....there is Muzzle flashes  from  down  the way?.. it  could be the french Captain?

 Meari aims her shotgun and tries to blow off the hand holding the gun, she will try to dodge any shot he gets off, she will bring up her shotgum and get ready to shoot, she will see how the woman is reacting if she has a weapon or attacks Meari will shoot her, if not she waits to see what happens with her shot to his hand and weapon and what he does next.

She tried to move quick enough to get out of the way but a bullet still grazed her arm. With several curses slipping from her lips (not from pain thanks to the medicine but more because she was hit), Billie moved to shoot once again. A look of satisfaction came to her face as she heard one grunt, one of her bullets making contact.

 versper   took  the dent  Van Back up into the  air  one of the troops  was  trying to get to his  feet.. Harry got one of the  ones she was aiming at, the other  one   used the wort as cover..

 HARRY!... the Last Wort!.. The   angry Cat thing   slowly  rounded the  second flor , reddish Green eyes  look  at  harry, smelling her blood/

  the wounded trooper  , one   the other one who didn't get crushed  by the van,  were yellign  for it   to  take  Harry.

 Inside the Building  where sounds  of   old fashion whistles being blown, since the power  was out.

They opened up again two arrows finding their mark one hitting the remaining guy running towards Shade and the other more damaging shot hitting one of the 3 still headed towards Zob. "Keep at 'em" she says taking aim again they were whittling down the response force but the opportunities to shoot the enemy as they ran were starting to decrease

  The Two entered into the   building through Zob's  door..while the others  by the van oepned up.

Not good, keep an eye on those they'll be a problem" she says softly over the comm. Laying down on her belly she checks the window to see if it's lit. They need a way into the building that's quiet like. The window was an option if they could get in unseen and it was unlocked.

Hawkeye keeps up her fire the bolts rapidly scattering down range in a discriminating pattern set my her that avoids getting to close to friendly forces or the bins. She also shoots to keep the gingers and other minions away from the bins so they can't be taken away.

As Hawkeye and Nagy engaged the dock crew and gangers that had been present, Roy hustled, moving for the controls to the dock's exterior doors...to either take them and hold them under control, or close them and disable them completely.  There would be time to repair or replace them later, but there were a lot of innocent kids in bags that could be dumped out there.

As always, once in combat mode, he moved with his weapon up, ready to fire the moment he identified a threat...and anyone that crossed his path or attempted to slow him down was a threat.  The yells behind him indicated that the other two were doing their jobs...it sounded like chaos and nobody was shouting in triumph, so his people hadn't been hit yet.

And still, he searched for options for more collateral damage, more chaos, more ways to keep the bad guys looking in every direction instead of focusing on one.  There was only so much he could do with frag grenades, by themselves...but if there was something else that could be detonated by a grenade, well...

Maria's call was like a buzz in his ear.  "She should be coming from that direction, yes, and could very well be engaged in a moving gun battle.  Check further along, towards the dock...should be a couple of people with a bag shooting back.  If they're shooting away from the dock and they have a bag or a kid with them, they're fair game...but don't shoot any kids unless they're gangers trying to attack you.  Pretty sure Messe and her man would be the only ones in there with EverSEC uniforms on, for what that's worth as far as target identification goes..."

Mila ran back into the hole she'd found, Her Human and Larry following.

With one of her targets going down Harry would take the opportunity to quickly duck into what little cover she could find and return the pistols to their holsters and swing the Uzi from where it had been hanging across her back and fire a pair of quick bursts to finish off the wounded men currently trying to crawl away. It was then that she would hear Vespers warning about the final wort. Looking up she would spot the creature slinking around the corner, it’s eyes seeming to glow in the darkness as Harry took aim and fired upon the creature with a snarl with her only turning her attention to the final guard once it was well and truly dead.

from her spot on the roof, Melia  cannot  tell if the windows  are Unlocked,  they are 3  feet down to the top of the window, from her perch, she can see three windows on that  side of the  building.

 there  is  3 feet about the  ground to the bottom of the Sash.

 Scarlett  hisses  softly into her COM.. Two  people, looks like a human man  and  woman  are walking  by... the  sky is still dark  as there is no 'moon' near Everest... there can here the Snuffle  and grunts  of the  big  bear-dog-thing that walks along side of them , no leash.

 Lizzy can see other    hover  vehicles  with lights  on goign  about their Business, but Everest Mount blocks much of the view to the South...

  The weapon  flashed in the  darkness, with the ambient light from the  town, the only soruce of  light. Some red   Aux   lights  had Come on, but  most   were focused on the ground.. The Wort, was  vicious and Single minded. Maybe because of training, maybe because of the  deaths  of the other two...    But  It   Kept Cooing   Getting  closer to harry   with  each  round that slammed into it.. Blood  and Fur   flew,, roars mixed  with whines of pain, Until it  Dropped     Harry could smell its  hot breath   leave  in its  final Gasp  as the  muzzle was just  2  feet short of her Legs..

   A voice, from   a yard or so away said...I have  the  trepasser... I'm gonna  bring her In...

  The  dock was  turning into a furball..  shots  were  snapping out  all around.. the Bins  were taking hits  from the Gangers  who , at this point, were not longer  worried  about 'product'.

 Two    Gangers  who  were at the bottom of the    dock extension were firing up at   Roy as he  made his way to the Control station.. the  guy inside the station    had been waiting for the  call to extend the  Dock, and the static field m,  he opened the Door  and shot at Roy..

 More  COMs  started  ranging through the system..

  Lyri   Fires  off another shot at the VAn closest to her.. the round     went  through the   Meta Glass   hitting the   fellow   who  was tryign to shoot up   from behind the   cab of the Van, His  weapon  Flew  as he  fell back..

 wow!,,that tore him up!

 Meta Glass.. flattens out   Hard  Ammo and   it changed the  trajectory a bit  I  wanted to hit  his head,, but the glass and    slab of lead ripped open his chest...50 cals?.. they'll mess you up!  The troops  below  were Getting thinned out  Rolfe  dropped off the   Van onto the Cat walk and sent  two grenades down rage    towards the  middle of the  Stem,  two Gangers  were blown to bits, two more were slammed against the hull.. at least two more   were  running away into the darkness.  Nift  took the time, since he was once a stem Kid, to move to the ledge  that faces   the   Lowers  opening of the Stem... he   fired, like a machine.. sight...trigger..reload... shot  after  shot... as he  tried to kill those who ran towards the Stem entrance.. he drooped   4 out of  8.. then the others  were  gone.. he  swore at the ones who got away...then turned back  to the Vans.

 what he didn't see was a ganger   tryign to crawl away his  eyes  wide in pain and fear, as two kids  came out of  the Rubble.."..help me...help me...they are killing us!"  The Little  boy  had a   length of rebar .. the little girl had  a  well sued hammer...and they beat on  the wounded ganger, until his screams stopped.


  Flores   drove the van through the   entrance, and into the   wall just  to the left of the  Dock  entrance.. two gangers  whose, heads and neck looked like some one squeezed   toothpaste with the caps still on  stared at  her as  Blood oozed out of thier mouths  and  nose..
  Flores   did  shot throught he   window   with her SMG  chewing up  two more Gangers   on the other side of the  dock entrance.. the remining Gangers had  3 choices...1.. ( 2 of them did this) run down towards  the   Stem entrance of the access tunnel , towards  Messe......

 2  others  went out the  door  that left into the stem where the vans  were..  and  two More   went into the Docs  firing  at the Van

  Nagy  flew  back  when he was   hit, but    got back to his   knees   and    opened  fire  on ( what was not , 4) Gangers    near them .. Cat had   rounds bursting  al round her...If she would look?  she would see  some odd rounds  strike a Bag here  and there.

 Roy had the  controlman  and two   gauds  below him on the dock extension shooting at him

Melia sighs softly, the bear dog things were problematic, the number of guards is problematic, and roof access was looking increasingly problematic We're gonna have to go to the ground. If things get loud hit em hard.". Holstering her hard ammo .45 she holds up a finger to her lips and pulls her remaining throwing knife. Two targets two throws, and then the bear dog critter. She takes a deep steadying breath and lets fly with each throwing knife at the two guards as they pass below. She follows the knife with her larger angel steel knife dropping bodily on the bear dog leading with the knife attempting to drive the knife into animals neck and pin it to the ground quickly killing it. With luck she'll get all three, without it all hell breaks loose.

Hawkeye tries to take more controlled aimed shots to eliminate the gangers, especially those shooting at and indiscriminately towards their "cargo". She looked for a way down to the bins and kids that didn't leave her out in the open. The more bodies she passed on the way the better. She's not holding her breath, but she might be able to help the kids some. "Nagy, what's your status?" she asks not able to take her eyes off the fire fight unless Nagy desperately needs help. There was too much happening and her fire support was needed unless it was critical.

There weren't many times that infantry and fighter pilots used the same advice...but with incoming fire and being out in the open, it was true that speed is life.  Roy charged at the man in the control booth, firing as he went, as shots almost seemed to avoid him, rounds spanging off the deck all around him without ever touching him.

The booth...if he could take the booth, and take out the man in it, a grenade could deal with the other two easily enough.  But he wasn't going to slow down until he reached the booth.

Mila was confused. People and animals had passed both ways. She looked round at Her Human for guidance.

Henry felt Mila's confusion even before he saw it in the dog's face.

"Go downslope," he directed "Whoever's at the back, keep an eye to the rear."

Three rounds pings and ricocheted around Hawkeye as she fired down on the gangers causing her to dip back inside the door of the van. Taking the moment of cover she glanced over at Nagy to do a quick visual assessment of him while she wasn't actively getting shot at.

Zob waited out of sight for a moment his back pressed against the wall while the two that weren't aware of him came in the door before ambushing them on the flank with automated heavy pulse fire.

 The east way  went slightly down.. the west way , went slightly Up

Disna  says softly into the COMs...we are going over   a bridge of sorts..about...20 feet long..there is a  metal lined   stream  going through...maybe?.. 8 foot  deep?  there  are  water  creatures.. fish..alien forms.. some i have  not seen.. the  stream Come out of a Hole in the wall to the   North west. There is  a metal door before us , across the bridge on the North wall... the stream continues  20 yards or so before int  enteres an opening... I would assume it  empties   into water ways  to the east?

 Meari fired her shotgun first, taking the man's gun and hand, she Knocks the man aside and then says,Shut up or die she will check the room and go from there.

 Roy slammed  into the  Controlman while pulse rounds  pepper  along the  mesh-metal cat walk.. the Metal Glass shatters   where the control man    normal sits  as the   two  gangers    fires in  desperation.
 The  Controlman was  a bit out of shape, but he dropped his  weapon and  Pulled a combat  Knife to try and stab  Roy.

    The   men whole  were forced into the  Docks , went to the   'lowers' side of the   docks, were   crates and bareels  and  containers  were  staked..  it wasn't long before  the crang above  the Bins   started to move ,  with  thje Hook comign  down towards   the  Van  was the whole  overhead  moved back towards them...mean while,  two Gangers   who went  there   fires  from behind   crates ,  dozens of   rounds  tearing into the  Van.

 Meari takes her sword and removes the man's head and then hits the woman in the head with the hilt if hrr sword to knock her out. Meari searchs the man abd the room with tge suitcases and moves to the next room.

Zob squeezed the trigger and in a flash the two EDT were torn to pieces by the hail of heavy pulse fire, he then stepped out the front door and looked around for the Van that was firing on Billie and Sarah, 'Why can't they just lay down and die...' Zob reached for his weapon belt and pulled out the Vampic RPG and took aim at the EDT van and fired aiming to blow it up.

With the volume of fire coming in, Hawkeye didn't have time to check on Nagy any further and took his word on his status. She leaned out again returning fire only to get grazed across her cheek and ear by a round leaving a thin line starting by her cheekbone and trace out until it took a small piece of the outer edge of her ear. She cursed at the sharp bee sting sensation of the injury, but wasn't severely injured and continued shooting. "Nagy we got a freaking crane moving on us. We're either gonna have to abandon the van, or move it out of range of the crane or we'll be in a bad way." She calls out, needing to know if the van can move, and if Nagy can move after taking the hit.

”I doubt it, that’s what insurance is for...oh and Vesper love, you have a strange definition of cute” Harry responded as she gingerly stepped over the dead Wort and started heading towards the door inside, finishing off any of the wounded with a quick burst of fire as she went. Then they would go up and deal with what was there.  Nikki made for the stairs.

 Lizzy says over her comms," I see movement of vehicles but the mountain blocks my view from the South, I am ready to get us out of here if need be ok everyone." She makes sure she can reach her thompson mg sitting on the passenger seat now.

Sarah and the Burians start to take return fire, their positions given away by muzzle flash and the pulse rifle Sarah and SGT MAJ MacDoona both take body shots. Sarah's a bit more severe than Macs, but not by much. "I'm hit," both her and Mac call out nearly at the same time, Sarah steps back to the van to check for a medkit. If she can find a can of foam she can keep them both in the fight. The two commandos get behind cover as does SGT MAJ MacDoona and they continue to exchange fire with the enemy.

“Fucking serious?” she raised a brow and shook her head. “Well...let’s tango then...” She shot twice at the driver with her pistol before shoving it back into its holster and drawing out her 45 cal pulse sidearm. One of her two shots found its target, embedding deeply into the man’s shoulder. She winced a bit as she heard the three shots hit the Van solidly.

   Nikki,  Supe and Tucker  went up the stairs.. brivet   moved  a  chair in front of the   metal door, even though it opened  'in' to the basement,, they would have to fight witht he chair.

   moving up the stairs, there  were  hushed  sounds  of   voice..short and clipped.. Supe  Pointes  to the  first   door  at the top of the stairs... then to Tucker  and the   2nd   dor  ( to the right)   lastly  the  Door  at the end on the left wall that , would be a much larger  room then the other   two.

Melia's Daggers  Miss,  they makign thumping sounds in the grass  as the  Two guards look   around.  melia Lands On the bear-dog that   throws  her off.

 Scarlet and Madsen Open Up  on the  guards  before they can shoot melia, this  brings  shouts  from around the grounds  and   some heavy voices shouts  from is  side the  house.

 The    Bear Dog   turns  with  thick  curly    fur,  Jagged teeth that would make a wortbe jealous

 the  front claws  were long  and pointed, the back claws where  more  dog Like,

The knife caught a bit of Roy's shirt, but nothing more, and Roy didn't bother getting fancy...just punched the man in the throat with a blow that crushed his trachea with his left hand, following it with a closed-fist right, around the grip of the SMG, that snapped the man's head to the side with a sickening crunch.  His face deformed and his head riding at an impossible angle, the control man dropped to the ground.

Roy grabbed one of the grenades, pulling the pin and giving an educated guess at where the gunmen below were as he tossed the grenade out.  He took a moment to check the controls, looking for a way to lock them closed...if he couldn't find one, he could always just break off knobs or switches...

Zob slipped the weapon back on his weapon belt, 'If i take the shot it will kill both of them... i can't risk it' he then commed Shadow back, "Ill catch up once i clear out the yard" Zob then found a defensible position and started spraying heavy pulse rounds down at those on the lawn if he wasn't killing them outright he would keep them suppressed while those on the roof could get clear shots.

well that plan is fucked if the counts correct there should be 6 outside and counting. You two stay up top and try and take them out. I'm going in Melia says aloud as she rolls away from the turning beastie dropping her knife and pulling her .45 ACP. Opening up on the beastie with three quick shots hopefully before it completely gets its bearings.

Nikki pointed Supe to the first one, Tucker to the second, She'd take the third.  using hand gestures she motioned for all to go on 3.  kicking them in using the doorknob she left to their discretions. She had a feeling there would be party guests, at worst scared kids.  She hoped one was an office.  When in place she motioned the 1..2..3! and kicked the door in.  Looking quick to see if ducking bullets or firing back would be appropriate in that split millisecond.

She waited for the last possible second before acting, letting the very corner of his driver’s side hit into her back-driver’s side tail light and used that little bit of momentum to fully turn towards the other van’s side. Once lined up, she accelerated, ploughing into the side of the other van.

 Roy's  grenade dropped  down.. the  explosions  caused  screams  from the  two  gangers    It also set  an alarm off on the   doors,, a red  light began to spin around  to  warn of   blast doors Closing.

  emergency...emergency ... Blast doors  will close in   10  second.....9   seconds...

 Roy could see controls  ,  Open....close... emergency..emergency over ride...flush dock..cut power...

   with  the    Load  , odd voice   and the    horn that went with the Flashing  light ( and of course screams and gunfire.. the  cries  and screams of  kids  where  heard  from Muffled  wriggling  bags, though a few  bags   had bits of  red, and didn't wriggle

 Nagy shook his head  as he looked  up word, the  Hook on the crane was  almost  as big as Nagy, himself.we're  we gonna go?. we re stuck here, , if  we  try to move in the crane is   getting us always, and  we  might   end up on the  bundles .

 in a few Minutes, Both   of the 'new ' bodies  went over the edge, and  pulse rifle   fired bursts  of  rounds to the pavement all around the    'near' part of the vans

  Nifty   hit  a Ganger who was 'creeping up from  a ruined Building , near the   Vans. the  wounded   guy fell back..some small figures  with  clubs and bricks closed on him..

 Nifty laughed  and  said into ALL COMs.some free  kids  are  talkign  care of  the wounded .. Hey JaX? you remember the  Ganger's saying?..right  before they ended a hurt kid?

  Jax  snorted You are no use.... if you are no use...

 Lyri looked at Jax,they said that?

 jax looked  at her and nodded  with a grim frown, right before  they  used a brick or  concrete block to end  a wounded  kid.. didn't want to waste a  round.

Roy gave a 'hmph' of satisfaction as the screams followed the grenade blast...and promptly hit the 'close' button as soon as he saw it.  If the frigate's crew entertained any notions of trying to 'board' the dock, they were fading fast as the doors closed.

With that part of the plan taken care of, Roy took a look around to assess the situation, noticing the crane closing in on the van (and Nagy and Hawkeye, as well).  He ran a couple of scenarios in his mind, trying to decide what would be most effective, before he settled on a course of action.

 on three   the Doors  were kicked in,  Supe's door   shattered a bit...  In supes  room two suits   an a woman were there.. two  medium  bursts  and they were  gone..he began to search.

   Tucker   had to  kick his twice...  as the   door  flew  open   he was greeted  by  bursts of  Gun fire,  he was  smart  enough  to    duck on the   second   Kick  and fired    around the  bed.. he dropped  one  man whose  legs  were scattered  filling the room with scrams , the   2nd guy  was trying to  shoot  at him.

    Nikkis  Door  Kicked Open and  it  seemed  empty.. there  were two  doors  one at each end of the bed room.

  melia  used  4  rounds  at   close  range into the heavy furred beast, before it  fell..     rounds   started   pining off the  roof , scarlet and  madesen went over the other  side  and  tries  to  find   the shooters.. the  growling  howls  of the Bear-dog  gettign loader..

 melia had tow   chocies.. go  through the   (north) side door..or  go around to the front, by the lake

 Lizzy saw somethings  moving..  big 'blobs  of  block moving like a cross between and Ape and a dog... she  saw the  flashes of muzzle fire  at the roof, and she  saw  lights coming on a   canbin cruiser  as it was pulling away  into the lake,  leading  for the channel that would  take it to the ;"ea"

As soon as the doors closed far enough that a bin couldn't be pushed out between them, Roy hit the 'cut power' button, killing the juice to any of the equipment running off the dock's power system.  Stepping out of the booth, he looked up at the control area for the crane, giving the operator a dark look before deliberately ejecting the spent magazine from his SMG and slotting in a new one.  He slid the action closed, seating the first round, and took a careful bead on the operator, before sending a couple of bursts of fire in the man's direction.  If he hit, he'd continue, taking advantage of his different position to try and flush people out...they could either hide from him, or from Nagy and Hawkeye...but there wouldn't be much room to hide from both.

Billie cursed as she climbed out of the wrecked van. “Well...sorry about that guys...” she said over the COMs to her group, looking down to her scratched up and slightly singed arm. “Good think I can’t feel this...yet...” she muttered, raising her sidearm and firing at the nearest enemy.

Nikki began a search of the room.  Mentally she tried to figure out if the other two doors lined up with the rooms Supe and Tucker were in.  She didn't here either scream so she knew that Supe would help Tucker.  But if she could get a drop though the other door..well that was good.

  The  Crane operator  died   quickly..the  Crane hook  swinging  gently  bumping the   van  as it slowed   down.

    The two Gangers  who were left by the  crates  fired at the Van, and  the other  fired  at Roy.

 Nagy    concentrated on the  rate. slowl chewing up  watching the    metal start to break down

Scooping up and weapons she could grab including her knives if she could find them she moved to the door. if it's not us or on the ground not moving I want it on the ground not moving. she says over the comms to the team then comms Beth as she prepares to kick in the door

Zob grunted as he saw Billie wreck the van she was lucky to even be alive, "Get up girl and stay close to me if you want to live" was all he said to her as he turned back to make his defense against the soon to be raid on the kitchen part of the house.

With a nod, Billie moved closer to where Zob was, still firing at the enemy. Her injuries didn't seem to bother her despite the blood running down her arms. "He came after me...I thought I had better control but then again, it's a van and not my fighter..." she said a little sheepishly when she made it to where he was.

Zob chuckled a bit at her words before sending a com to Beth he knew he could hold a defensive position against them a lot easier inside the house with all the choke points etc, "Our ride is toast any chance you could get us another sent out here?" he said in a quick but brief message to Beth.

He then turned to Billie as she reached the front entrance, "reach in the left part of my pack and grab a can of dermafoam with the blue label not the red one those are for me specifically if you need a better weapon use my assault rifle we gotta entertain some guests here any moment" there was no point worrying about the what ifs and the like it was just like being being behind enemy lines anywhere else you did what you have to do to survive.

As soon as bullets started hitting near him, Roy was moving again, on an angle forward, changing the range between him and the shooter while avoiding being a steady mark to pick off.  His own weapon came up and he began raining bursts at the ganger shooting at him, while working to get an angle around the back side of the crate where the other two were shooting at the van.  His motions were cold and methodical...while he hadn't originally been trained in this style of combat, he'd had to do it enough times in the last half-decade that it was all habit, at this point, the only new factor being the lack of punch packed by the SMG compared to his assault rifle.

Still, it wasn't his style to try and punch holes through whatever barricade the other shooter was behind...unless he was using his Barrett.  Every time he saw a head, a barrel, a shoulder, or any other body part become visible, he snapped off another burst, until he'd either wounded the ganger bad enough to make him stop or killed him outright.  Either option was satisfactory...although the first option was really only a prelude to the second.

Henry crouched down by Larry.

"Can you take those 2 out quietly?" he asked the larg.

He got on COMS. Go ahead through the door. Remember, you're looking for youngsters to rescue.

 Meari takes the creds and the ID, she goes back and kills the woman Shadow said no witnesses, everyone here was a bad guy. She got her ID as well and moved to the next room to see what she could find.

Beth COMed back  to Billie ( and Shadow's  group_we have two Vans left, they are being held  in reserve for back up, or Evac.... take a look around see if you spot  any thing you can use, and take it... if you can't  find  anything , by the time you have to bug out..we'll send  one of the vans..

  Sarah's Group  bring  down 'the tail end Charlie" of the   4   Black Clad   troops. The other  three were entering the Kitchen ..

 Zob ( and Billie)  were , reentering the house... smoke  was   collecting  along the  ceiling from the smoldering fire   on the couch , with  4  torn up bodies... the  smoke  was   spreading to the kitchen and slowly drifting  up the stairs... thicker  smoke   slowly rose from the cellar . There was  some  Italian  curse  as they tripped over the  dead  cooks and saw the servants, as they  peered throught he  smoke  as the  tiny  flames   consuming the  couched  and staring on the clothing of the dead. They have not notcied  Zob ...

 The next room Meari kicked in, was empty, no sign of people having   been there.

 when she got to the Last  Room, she locked it in, the room was a shambles   the window to the  North side  was  opened, and sheets   were tined to the Bed... it  lead  down as  far as the  2nd  flor  .. there was no sign of  anyone  running, ( from her View  point)

 Shadow  and Shade  kicked in two more doors, not  finding any one, but seeing suit cases, the collected a few more creds, but that was all.. The Last room one man  was there.. he begged to be let go..   They  the  'non-talker  when down screaming as  a 80 some pound scaled projectile hit him and   tore out his  throat  snarling  and shaking his   head for the   rows of teeth to shred, the  'Talker' was surprised  and Looked to gregor  , while Lippen  put  4   Pulse rounds into   center Mass... the    Gun fell.. and gregor  finished him off..

  Howe   shook his head,Good Job, everyone , 'cept me..dammit no one else is supposed to be on the Mountain but us!...

 he went to the  bodies  ;removed thier  weapon's belts and took the  Pusle rifles, he gathered  what  creds there were ,  Gergor   crunched the  'Talkers' head and Looked up at Howe , Thumping his tail.....go ahead  beastie... you earned it...

 Howe Gave  Lippen  some   folding creds  and   Roll 40 creds, he put the rest inside his tunic....that's for you...the Fleet will get enough creds when these ops  are done.

With what appears to be all if not most of the baddies down for the count Hawkeye tosses the pulse rifle aside in the van her Sanri should be enough, and grabs the med bag rushing to the bins. "Bring the wounded to the bins, I need help getting these kids out of the bags. Try and gather the bloody bags first. They maybe able to be saved. Let's go! If anyone has any medvan/medevac contacts they trust I'd start thinking about getting them on the line depending on these injuries we might need them. She says continuing to ignore her bleeding ear, and the quickly drying bloody cut on her face.

 For meari  beth came through....his last chip  marker had  him at your location....the  chip is  still active..so he didn't cut it out, and he's still alive... he might have a  lead casing over it?... damn hard to walk around witht hat..but..Sanri?.. they can afforad a few extra pounds

Mila trotted forwards past the remains of Larry's last snack and applied her nose to the door on the far side of the corridor.

My, the place was heaving. There were a lot of people on the far side. Worse, many of them smelled bad to her. The 'unpleasant person' sort of bad, the one that made her nose wrinkle up almost of its own volition.

She looked back at Her Human attempting to communicate this to him.

Roy turned to Messe.  "You have medical people on station that you trust?  Or do we need to call in our own personnel to deal with it?" he asked.  While she was considering an answer, he held up a finger as he commed Lyri.

"Get them out if the bags and send them up here...have Jax or Nifty guide them up.  Set up overwatch on the approach...if they have reinforcements inbound, be ready to engage.  Flores, if you can, lead them back toward us, Lyri can take down the gunner as soon as you can get her a clean shot."  His people set in motion, he slung the SMG and started helping get bags out of bins, looking for the wounded ones first.  As he turned to the task, he shot Messe a look.

"What's the word, Captain?"  Then he heard Beth's comm.  "Okay, never mind.  Sounds like we've got cavalry incoming."  To Messe's sergeant, he said, "Help us get everyone out of these...I'll be damned if I'm sending anyone to a med-tech ship in a bag.  Captain, get over to the control cage...restore power and get the doors open.  Beth, home them on my comm signal...no, wait.  On Hawkeye's...I might have to go help deal with trouble, she'll be here with the wounded."

He glance at Nagy.  "Get some derma-foam on that, we're not done here and I don't need you bleeding on people."  The words were brusque...but the manner spoke to a level of concern that was hard to clearly define, masked under battlefield expedience.  All that said, he turned again to the task of getting people out of the bins.  Every wiggling bag was a boost to his spirits...a buffer against the dread of finding a bloodied bag with no signs of life...

Reaching the bins she begins cutting open bags using her trauma shears, which are safer than a knife due to the blunt tip and allow her to cut faster and safer. As she cuts open the bags, she starts to speak carefully.

"Easy there, we're here to rescue you and help you. If you are up to it help us get people out of the bags, sit nearby. We don't know if there are any more gangers or EDT lurking about." After freeing a few of the kids in bags on the top of the pile at the current bin she at she starts to get to some of the bloody bags, and begins to move more carefully pulling out the hand scanner. As she sets about working on the more grim part of her job.

 coming up the   Stairs, nifty and Jacks talked to the  kids. Lyri said,there's  3 Vans  down here?  have some  bullet holes in, but none of them are on fire.

 Kids were coming out of the bag..most were  confused  and reigned... some   tried to run with wide  eyes.. three were dead from stray rounds.. one of them still had tears   in her eyes and  a frozen frighten expression.

  a COM broke through ...This is  Med tech  shuttle  #4  and #16..ESN 712  Cowbird.. we are coming in from the  docking arms , will be entering  the stem from the lowers side in 3 Minutes... Admiral said  to enter the Stem because of   possible  actions  outside the Stem

Zob took note of the smoke in the air the fire was spreading slowly but in his experience that wouldn't take long before it turned into a full blown inferno especially if the bodies were carrying power cells they could erupt and explode.

The smoke gave him a fair advantage with the element of surprise as they did not notice him he took out the vampic RPG and took aim but he didn't fire until he had a confirmed shot the target was right at the feet when most of them were grouped together, "Get ready here they come..." he said in a very hushed voice to Billie.

Hawkeye saw the smoking van across the tunnel entrance, "Someone check that van before it goes up in flames." She says eyeing it warily.

"Med Tech Shuttles this is LT Price from the Hermes, I've got 17 shaken up kids here some with injuries use my comm signal to locate us. Hope ya'll brought extra chocolate and snacks."

refocusing on the kids, she wishes the medical bag had some chocolate in it. Even a small bit of something would have been a big help. "Alright kids, My name is Hawkeye, you can call me that or Doctor if you want. We're working on getting you out of here over to a big medical ship that is part of the delta fleet. From there, we'll see if we can find your families, or get you set up to find a nice family. If you know each other or have friends you want to go with stay close to them, and we'll see about keeping you all together. It's okay to be scared, we're not gonna let the gangers, or the demons have you okay." She says as she works through the injured children trying to comfort them.

"Vesper Love I'm trying real hard not to think about that" Harry replied as she heard the sound of shouting coming from inside "...you can either stay up here and make sure we're ready for a quick getaway or you can grab a gun and come in with me...just bear in mind that I'm liable to be shot at...a lot" she continued, as she opened the door to reveal a stairwell leading into the building. She would leave it entirely up to Vesper as to whether she chose to follow her or stay with the now heavily dented van, but either way Harry would cautiously make her way into the house and head down the stairs.

Nikki know Supe and Tucker looked out for each other and neither were screaming.  Nikki moved towards the door that seemed to be on the 'outer' wall and booted it in as well.  She was looking for nearly any movement not Supe or Tucker.  Her rifle at the ready.  In a low voice she spoke "Looks like this clown is into rat mazes or some such"  She kept looking about quickly.  Only if not finding a live person would she backtrack and go to the other door.

 Lizzy waited and watched, she saw the muzzle fire and got the van ready to move, she saw the black motions move, she also saw a Boat on the lake power up and head for the sea. Lizzy says over comms," Hey guys I see movement from the lake a boat powered up and is heading to sea."

With Vesper, probably rather sensibly, opting to stay behind Harry would carry on down the stairs with the sound of shouting seeming to be getting closer with every step she took, accompanied by the growls of whatever creatures they had with them. Eventually she would reach a door that would hopefully lead into the main part of the house at which point she would remove the flash bang from her belt and get ready to throw it into the next room in order to get the drop on whoever was on the other side.

She wasn't super interested in getting wrapped up in another mission, but at the same time she was there and if Melia needed help it was likely that there were wounds that needed treating.

At the word the vans are about to blow up, Sarah and the rest of the Burians set out running to get below ground and to safety. Due to injuries herself and MacDoona were moving a bit slower than the uninjured commandos, but they still made rapid progress. The concept of getting blown up fueling them to run faster despite the injuries.

  Shade helped  MacDoona, the   Udenese , solid  body  providing   great support as they hustled.

Even Henry was a bit aghast at what he had wrought, then he looked at the caged children and realised that he couldn't have done anything else.

"Hool - don't go off on your own. Too risky, you are worth an hundred of that wretch."

He started to count. They would need a lot of transports. As well that woman from Bura said they'd take youngsters in... rehoming all these would be a nightmare.

"Right: largs stand guard. People: start opening the cages."

He raise his voice, but this time although it carried clearly it was gentle.

"Children, you are safe now and will be for ever. We shall take you all up to the surface and to a safe place where you will be warm and fed and above all loved. If for a moment you feel this nightmare could come back, remember what the largs have done. Some nightmares cannot come back."

He called for transportation, then turned to the grim task of dealing with the experimental animals. He hoped that some could be saved, but feared many would have to be euthanaised.

The stairs appeared to open out onto a square mezzanine floor level around which six additional doors could be seen along with the shapes of patrolling guards within the shadows. With her presence having seemingly gone unnoticed for the time being Harry would slip the flash bang back onto her belt and draw her silenced pistol before stepping into the room and silently closing the door behind her.

She knew that somewhere within one of the adjoining rooms was Lei, however as to which one she didn't know and searching them all would be next to impossible with all of those guards patrolling the area...though she though she may have an idea on how to narrow it down a little. Pulling her comms unit out of her pocket she would hit the redial button and listen for the sound of Lei's comms unit ringing.

  Nikki  is Just Behind   Supe and Tucker  as the     run  down the stairs, Brivet   is behind a shot up recliner ..
