for those who visit the LC's  quarters.

At the suggested time two hours before game time Hannah approached LC Si's quarters and knocked on the door. She bit her lip and rocked to the outside of her feet like a child would stand as she waited for the door to open. She was in jeans and a thin sweater and carrying her one cute-ish piece of not uniform wear was a small summery purse. She'd brought it mostly just in case whatever she wound up in had no pockets... she lived in fear of outfits without pockets. In the bag she had her new toolkit and the little box with the transmitters. Maybe, if she got the chance, she'd ask the LC or Commander Hack about the set they wore.

  the  door hissed opened  and  teh LC  was standing there  smiling,  Her hair  was yet to be  put up, But she wore  a  Knee High "Hermes"  poweder Blue Dress, she hand heels on, that were  functional, yet"pretty".

  ...Come in  Hannah..I am Glad you took me  up on the offer. I do not have too many LAdies on the ship that would spend  some of thier off time with me...Rank has its drawbacks  sometime...

  she  motioned   for Hannah to follow her, pointing to  the Kitchen area, Help yourself  to  softdrinks, or wine..there is even a few beers in there..though that is mostly for  when the Commander comes over...I am not  a great fan of beer. the  she picks up a remote  and presses a button, three doors  slide open revealing  many differant styles  of clothing. She points to the first one,..This is  the.." look good, but  relaxed" section...the second is,"..look great and know it" section...and the third  is "...make them think only of you",,section    she smiles,..the  outfits with slacks have two or three differant  tops that go with them, i sort them out that way...Dresses...hmmmm..stay away from the long gowns  though...a bit tacky to wear to a game, even in the  Suites...any way? take your picl..try on what you wish...Abby from the  Cosmo shop  will be here in a minute for make up and hair....

  As if on cue, the  door  knock was heard  a  a Civie woman from the 'town' decks  enteres  with a helper  and thier  kits.

she arrived slightly after Hannah and saw what she was wearing then looked to her self, she was still in her uniform, she wasn't into dressing out for events, nor did she go out to them, but she was willing to try something new this time, only she didn't own any outfits other then her uniforms. She walked up and stood beside Hannah "good morning ma'am, i hope you slept well." she smiled some as she waited next to Hannah

  The  LC was  delighted as Angela   arrived,..no matter how this day turns out?  we are going to have a bit of fun..Now..angela.....  he she shows her the the three open closets and explains  them as she did to Hannah, she shows her the kitchen area, and tells her to help herself.

  By this  Time Abby and her helper  have  the Kits  set up,,,Since  the LC was dressed she took the  seat first for the make up,..so girls?  what do you think  will be  the outcome of this game?

  Abby and her  helper both  said the  Hermes  would win, the helper, a Younger girl said she  voted for  the Hermes team because the they had  cuter  guys... The LC looked towards  Angela and Hannah for thier take  as everyone  laughed.

she moves over to the closets, carefully looking over them with a slight frown then tries to whisper to her self but says it enough for others to hear unintentionally "what would look good on me?....gods its been so long since i last wore anything nice like these."

Hannah smiled to the LC and  got herself a beer then moved to the closet. She'd need a little liquid fortification if there would be makeup and hair involved. "Thank you, ma'am. There aren't too many females on board I'm comfortable with either." She felt like a deer in headlights as she stared at all the options for outfits.

She overheard Angela's comment and had to nod in agreement. Her eyes, however, were drawn to a pale creamy blouse. From there an outfit formed as she set the beer down and dug out some slacks and shoes - oh! they would fit! - to go along with the top. Hannah got into the spirit of things as she dressed and slowly finished her drink. At the end of it all she stood still and waited for the LC's verdict. The little bit of jewelry she owned seemed to work well.

"Well?"

  Abbt spun the LC  around in her  chair to look at Hannah,not bad... she grinned..wonder if  anyone  will recognize you!


  then she makes  a motin at the closets,look them over,,try things on..the memory weave is gret stuff...The Mirrors  are there, and  the lot of us...so you can get judged  and feel somewhat secure going outside in this... he  lauigh carried  her  angel-half lilt..it was plain to see she was enjoying herself.

  The Helper  grinned,well..from what i know..you don't have to preen too much  for thsoe  Pilot Types..seems they are always on the prowel... Abby chuckled  at her  assistant, with a nod.

  The LC  shook her head  gently, as not to disrupt  her hairwork,..not  all of them..someo of them  are...quite shy..aye Hannah?

She studied the closet a bit longer before grabbing a single shoulder red dress that faded into a dark blue in the middle, it would reach down to her ankles and some one toed heels that seemed to go with the dress, she looked to Hannah with a nod "you look good." then she looks to the LC "is there a more private area to change.....i have a condition."

  She points to a doorway to the  right of the closets,..guest bedroom is there...feel free!

She nods and heads into the room and stays in there for a long while before exiting into the main room, the dress fit her form tightly, she looked good from the neck down, her hair was a tattered mess and made her look like she just woke up, she gave a shy grin as she looked to the others, hoping they wouldn't notice the small patches on her shoulders that would have given her cybernetic body away..although she wasn't as self-conscious as she normally would be in her state. "Thank you."

  Si  smiles  as Angela enters the room,..well now?  I think you girls  look better in those then i do...Tha memory weave is  something esle.....well now, You two have a seat, while Abby and Chris take care of your hair..hmm?

 Si looked at herself in the Mirror she  moved  a stary hair  around here or there, then nodded.

Hannah spun from the mirror she'd moved to, one of the memory weave shirts in her hand, at the comment about pilots. She looked a little confused at first, but slowly her cheeks turned pink and she looked back to the mirror. "I'd say polite and friendly..."

She and Kray had had fun last night and become friends for sure, but she wasn't entirely sure if there was any more to it, yet. If she was honest with herself Hannah could see the possibility for more but first she figured they all had to survive whatever was coming with the Demons. Assuming Kray survived this grudge match of a game today.

When Angela came out of the spare room Hannah grinned. "That looks great on you," she said before pulling off the blouse she was in and trying on the memory weave shirt. It was almost the same color as what she'd just been wearing but off the shoulder and with long sleeves. Simple and kind of sweet, she thought and her smile widened. She grinned over her shoulder to LC Si and moved to take a seat for a little pampering.

"Thank you for the invitation today, ma'am. This is fun."

Hannah laughed. "My mother used to say the same thing to be about old radios and communications systems parts. She eventually confiscated my soup cans... You know, you connect them with a string? She hung them on a wall."

  She  laughed as she said,so?  A comm Tech  way back when...

she smiled some over the conversation watching the two women talk, she didn't have much in common with what they were talking about except for coms. she looks down some as she asks the LC "Miss, have you read any of my records, or have you heard anything in particular me?" she then put her full attention to the LC

  Aye, Angela. And  what i do not  have on disc, The  Commander  has told me. That is  why i said, that you have  alot  in common  with Shadow's ship. Her AI came  from the Same people who put you back together. You are the  first to recieve  such care. Since then..there have been two more Humans who have  undergone the treatments...both of them have left the service though...

Hannah blushed again. "Yes... I was always playing with stuff like that. Used to freak my brother out when his furniture would start talking to him."

She grinned and fell silent to listen to Angela and the LC.

She winces a bit but then she smiled again "Then there shouldn't any reason why i would be worried if other new." she chuckled a bit "Oh, then you know that i have been fitted to be able to link with other ships then, which reminds me.... who do i talk to about refitting my ship so i may link with its interface?..there's a few test flights that i need test out after its refitted."

 She smiled  back at Hannah, and listened to Angela, Capt O'riellly, 'Rivets' as he's known...he will help set you up. But that will have to wait   until we ship out, tommorrow  night. We  want to give sometime for the crew and people of the Hermes, to unwind, no matter how  the game turns out. Besides. We do not  want word  going  out  about your ablitiy. We have...things to do..out there. And every surprise  we can keep...adds to our  favor.

  The  Cosmetics  where done, LC paid them off  and  outthey went.well LAdies?  Time for us  to do our  part  for Morale..aye?  her eyes  went to the Clock, just a tad over  an hour before kickoff..they should be in the Suite in time to watch some of the warmups  and Pregame goings on.

she smiled and stood, looking to Hannah with a grin. "and i would like you to, if you want, to do any repairs i may need that i can't do on my own, after all your so good with lady from what I've already seen and i wouldn't want a male working on me....the last one tried to get fresh with me while i couldn't move." She tried to be the first one to the door with another chuckle. "After leave of course...and if you want to do it i could give you the tools for the job and a manual."

Hannah stood, pleased that the women had gone easy on her makeup and hair. Natural - or as close as possible - really did look best on her. "I'm ready when you are, Ma'am."

She grabbed her bag and moved to follow the other women out the door. She listened, surprised by Angela's offer. "I'm flattered you'd trust me. My area is really comms, so I can connect you with your ship, no problem, but as for any other repairs... I may have to work with someone more skilled for a while. Your enhancements are a bit beyond me at the moment." Hannah smiled gently to Angela. "I'm not saying no. I just want you to be aware that it will take time before I'd be of much use to you - even with the manual."

she laughed as she walked next to Hannah "i figured that would be the case...besides if the manual was an ancient book, it would be HUGE! but luckily i brought the compact version." she laughed again "besides i have to get used to people all together again, its been a long time of isolation that i need to get rid of ."

   Kray  said goodbye to Hannah  in the Hall and she made her  way to the LC's  quarters...as he reported to the Team Airbus, to go nto the Stadium

Angela stood outside the LC's quarters and pushed the button to let her friends know she was there and waited with her hands behind her back. She stood almost as attention looking to the door as she waited. Angela also held the straight face of sternness.

OOC: sorry for lack of posts, been having migraines a lot, baby doesn't help lol. also Marshals Birthday was two days ago..so busy as well.

  LC Si, let Angela in with a  smile. She pointed to the Kitchen area where drinkjsd  and Juices wereset out. HAnnah Was trying on a Pantsuit type outfit. Beth was sitting on the arm of the couch with a drink as she watched the goings on.

  Smiling at Angela ,Beth said,Boy...you guys  think the last game  was intense...wait to  you feel this one...I hear  the Olympus Police have extra  ambulances stationed  near the stadium.

  once  the Girls  had Picked out  there clothes  for the night, The LC lead them out to a Limom that was waiting for them,..The Commnader is already  at the Suite...he had a limo for us..everyone ready to watch a Hermes  win?, she stepped into the  car while  the driver held the door, bowing his head slightly to each woman.

  Then, they were off to the stadium

 Kray   and  Hannah made thier  way through thier sectrion of the Officer's Deck, taking the    elevator to the Bridge  deck, walking past the Bridge  doors  and   shocked guards, to the LC's   Apartments. The  Guards looked at Shadow, who said,...she's  ecpecting  us.....

  The  Guard  Press the Buzzer and said. Lt. Shadow and....

 ..Yes..yes..let them in..... the Comm went off...the two guards looked at each other  ..uncertain, but the  SGT opened the door, and the two walked in.

   The LC's apartment was  just slightly smaller then the Commanders...thought,. thruth be told...The LC spent more time there, then here. As  the pair  walked  down the small hall to the   Main room, they could hear Voices,...It is  still an insult!....I am not used to being treated this  way!

 That...dear sister...is something you are going to have to get used to, if you plan on staying here...

  That's when  Kray and Hannah rounded the corner, and  LC Si was holding a drink, standing  by the bar. Un-li stood by the Couch, a drink in her hand, her face still flush from embarrassed anger.

 Kray frowned....LC's head  titled as she smiled, Just a bit...and UN-li looked at them,what do you want Shadow? I'm talking  with My Sister.....

  LC walked  over to  the pair, Gave  Hannah a hug and whispered,welcome back , my dear...  then truning   with her glass she pointed to Hannah, Un-Li...please meet,  Lt. Hannah Killian...she would be...in our people's words...Shadow's  Suggested.... Hannha..this is  my Sister..Un-Li Si..daughter of the 4th circle..and  Angel Ambassdor  to  the Delta Fleet.....

  Kray just  looked at  LC Si , then to Hannah, then to  Un-liwell...this  should speed things up.....

Hannah returned the hug warmly and a genuine smile for the LC. "Thank you," she whispered. She stepped back to Kray's side and laced her fingers through his. She had a feeling she would need the support for the coming conversation.

"How do you do?" She dipped her head briefly with the greeting.

It was neither a pleasure nor an honor to meet the woman and Hannah wasn't going to lie and say otherwise.

  ..so? Tell me, Hannah Killian, How did you like, Your....Suggested...filling the Olmpus  Vids  with our  romp in the Night....  she smiled sweetly, which looked  odd for an Angel.

 Kray, Just turned away, looking at somehting  on the LC's  wall.

"I was," she answered politely. "I completed my assignment sooner than expected."

Hannah moved a little closer to Kray as the LC warned her sister. Un-li's next comment made her flush with anger.  "I was... less than pleased. Where I'm from, ladies don't impose themselves on men who are spoken for. They certainly don't-"

She stopped herself from saying any more. No matter what Hannah thought of the Angel, and no matter what she might want to say, this was still the LC's sister. LC Si had been nothing but kind to Hannah, protective even, and she would not embarrass the woman by insulting her sister... no matter how tempting it was.

  Kray gave  Hannah's  hand a squeeze as she spoke, he turned back to Un-li,The ASngel Ambassador  shook her head,....I was doing my Job...and i had just released...MY..suggested..for being less-then-worthy. I saw no reason why i could not pick another?

 LC SI looked to Kray,..ummm..you wanted something  Kray?..Hummm?

  Aye, Ma'am I wanted to tell the Commnader, that therewould be no more...distractions, shuch as we performed...especially in a Damn Red Air car...  his eyebrows  went up as he hastily added,..um..Ma'am..

  The  LC Nodded,I had  misgivings  , myself  Lt Shadow...I feel there  will be  no need for such distractions  again, if so? You may ...pick..your partner...  she smiled a bit to  Hannah, then Looked to her sister for Confirmation..

  Un-LI finishes  her drink and puts the glass down on the table,..perhaps..Sister...If yuou will excuse me.... she walks out of thr LC's  Quarters, the LC says,...doors..lock...

  the lights blinked showing the doors were sealed,The LC looked at Hannah,I must apologize, Hannha....we knew there  would be attention..we did not count on...just how much...

 Kray shook his head,..alot of  folks  are unhappy with me over this , LC...Hannah even had her doubts........Kray just  stoped there.

Hannah was not a woman who angered easily, but Un-li was close to becoming a bloody pulp. She hadn't been in a proper brawl since middle school but she was very ready to smack this arrogant... female. She stayed silent until Un-li had left and then she took a deep breath to relax.


"I... It was hard. I didn't understand, but I do now." It seemed so inadequate. She felt like there should be more she could say, but Hannah couldn't think of what that might be. Truth be told, as long as she and Kray were able to rebuild what her lack of faith had damaged in their relationship she would be happy. "I'll do what I can to help reestablish Kray in the eyes of our friends, but what do you need from me now?"

  The LC  smiled  a bit,...well?  we  simply have the truth as  our weapon now...Lt Shadow's woman has  returned, The  Surprised  Ambassador..bows to her claim...all is forgiven?

  Kray  frowned,accept  for those  friends...who are also Hannah's  friends....who think i'd look real good  on a Demon's  dinner platter...

 The LC was ready to say something when  the Com opened, LC?  Commander wishes  to enter?

  Door open......and seal upon entry....

  The  Commander  entered, he  stopped and he saw  Hannah and smiled, though the smile  shortened a bit when he saw Kray's  face...Hellow, Hannah...welcome back!...you made good time...you travel on the transports?  the Commander  walked up to her  and gave her  a pat on the shoulder,welcome  back..now? what  is going on here?

  ..Seems...folks back home didn't  quite like ...my distraction...from my Nephew and Niece, to Hannah's Mom and brother? I've  done alot , Commander...never baulked before...but i'm not  doing that again...and no damn Red Cars....sir...

Hannah tried not to laugh but she couldn't hold back a small snort. Kray was really pissed about that car! Still, she didn't want the commander to think she was making light of the situation. She understood now the need for the "distraction" and the pragmatic side of her completely accepted that it would have been dangerous to warn her of their plan. Now, though there was unexpected damage to control and she owned that part of it was her own fault.

"Thank you, sir. I came back the fastest way possible." Wasn't that the truth? She'd have swum if she'd thought it would get her here faster. And, you know, not dead. "If there is no more need for a distraction, I too really would appreciate Kray not stepping out with - er - Miss Si... I mean, the other one..." Eloquent and succinct. Yeah, that was Hannah.

..You were good at Your  Job, Shadow. Though I must admit, Un-Li seemed to enjoy the  task more then you did...but you pulled down alot of  Vid crews from the Uppers...No body cares abotu a building blowing up, when there is  an Angel Princess danicng around  with a Human Pilot...  The Commander Nodded with a  sad  smile,


  Kray Looked down at his  botos  for a moment, then Up[ to the Commander,It wasn't  fair, Sir...to those whow atched...My family, friends...Hannah..thinking i'm no better then someone  like  LT. Steele...some of those people. I have to fight  beside...lead...

  The Comnader  looked at Hannah,Well Hannah? we're all friends here..what have you to say?

Hannah chewed her bottom lip and her hand tightened its hold on Kray's for a second. She took a moment to collect her thoughts. "I didn't like it. I understand why... sort of... but I still wasn't happy about the situation. However, I trust your judgement in this. I'm sure you considered all viable options before choosing Kray as a distraction."

She let go of Shadow's hand and began to pace. "I don't have all the facts, and I don't think I need them. Beyond what Kray has already told me, I need no explanations. I'm satisfied, truly." She stopped and faced the commander. "All I want to do now is focus on helping Kray regain the trust of his- our friends. If there's anything else you feel I should do, or a certain way you want us to handle this, I'll do it."

She wasn't sure what more to say. She just wanted to take away Kray's pain. He was hurting because he felt he'd lost his honor and the regard of his friends and compatriots. Hannah wanted to help.

  The Commnader Looked at the Two of them. The LC crossed the  Floor to put her hand on  Hack's hand.There was a chance...without a distraction..we could  have either lost people..lost targets....in the end..we didn't lose anyone, and  we got our targets...on Olympus...there will be less children being eaten...

  As  Far as  what you two wish  to do witht eh others? I'll leave that up to you...perhaps..we'll all learn somthing  about  our Crew...


 ..now..why don't you two take advanatge of  your downtime, and see what the others   are thinking...

 Kray Nodded and Saluted, bot the LC and HAck..... as they turned to go to the door, Hack added, Hannha? I'm sorry  for what we may have put you through..perhaps...this  will serve a a goodstudy of your future together...

Hannah half-smiled. "Civilians are the priority. I understand." She began to follow Kray out the door but turned to smile once more to Commander Hack and LC Si. "I'm sorry too. I only hope all of this isn't a poor reflection of me."

She followed Kray out the door, ready to help mend fences.

    Commander Si  camp of the lift and  walked down the Hall to her  Quarters, Two SEC guards saluted as they stood  with thie pulse rifles. She waited outside the door  for Oria.

She made her way quickly to the quarters then slowed to a near stop as she seen the guards. She only continued after seeing the commander. She gave the commander a bow. "Thank you for seeing me ma'am." It was still clear that there was fear and worry in her eyes.

  She  nodded with a smile, Always, when we are able...we try to see those who need seen... Once in side,  Si Poured herself  a coffee and asked  Oria  if she  wish a cold  drink or a hot one,..now? what do you need?

Oria shook her head with a slight frown. "No thank you, I'm not thirsty." She found her a seat and leaned forward elbow to knee. "My father has tracked me down. He says he will be arriving when the next battle is over. I haven't responded yet because I need your help in another disguise. Like an the Hermes Ambassador." She looks down with a sigh. "That is all I can think of to stay safe from his clutches."

 What do you mean..Ambassador? to where?..Detla Planets?..I not asure if you would  want to go there....?  she sips from her  drink, a bit concerned.

Oria looks down. "I don't really care to what. the title was just an Idea so he would be force to leave me alone. He, he cant remove me from here if I have an important title... Even if it was faked. I can dress the part and even act the part since I am a princess of those worlds." She said looking up, the worry in her eyes held but her voice seemed angered.

  She  walked  back and forth a few steps, sipping from her coffee as she did. She held the cup up,,,i do not know why, we  could not have invented this....it is a very satisfing drink...

 ..You do know, That the 4th  Circle  was just here, not long ago, to tow away the Rava....Father sought to take Both  , Me and My sister from the Hermes......none know  were the  3rd Circle is...But the  1st and  2nd circle  are still orbiting  Earth..The Homeworld's  Vessel should be comign soon, and  all our Cicles  will join with it again...well..except the  3rd circle, since we do not  know what happened to it...You would not want to go back to the Mother Ship?

She looked up with a bit of confusion. "So what you are saying, is that I should take the next transport to earth and come back with one of the other ships?" She asked. Perhaps it was her fear of her father coming along that caused her mind to twist things around.

My Sister..and Myself..are  Princesses of the 4th Circle....as You and your sister...whereever she may be...are of the 3rd Circle.....My father  cannot take me back, because i have MAted  with a Human....and Un-Li may...indeed..follow my example.  If she does not..she already has her title as Ambassador in the Delta Sector...she will, be given the job at Fuji...or perhaps  stay on board the Hermes  , so we have an Ambassador , when  Oliver needs  an Offical, other then himself, for treaties  and the like....


  she  walks  a bit again,...you would have to come out, with your rnak, in order to claim one of those Ambassador  status...or..evenbe stationed on Tortuga, and  act as the Ambassador  for  Tortuga, Elba  and Bura....once  we take Bura....but...when the Mother ship comes, and the Circles  rejoin her....all Angels will neeed to report back to the mother ship, and be replaced  by new Angels, unless...they are anchored  by some reason....

  Slanted eyebrows  rise  just a bit, as does her smile,...so..you would need to come  out of you hiding...so-to-speak..to claim a job that only  a blood royal could claim...

Oria looked at Si a bit confused still then suddenly her eyes lit up. "Then I will say that we work this out soon." She paused for a moment as she stood up. "Would there be a suitor that you could recommend? I was interested in Mr. Apple, but after what he did, and since he is gone..." Everything was starting to look up to her, she would go through any steps she needed to. But first with being the younger of her and her own sister, she had not been taught the rights that needed to be taken for all of this. She had ran before these lessons took place. "What should we start first."

  she smiled,  well... it is hard to say Oria...you cannot  just pick a human and say...'you are mine'..  they need to be attracted first....as you have seen with Shadow and Un-Li...Shadow bested her ..Suggested...on the Mother ship..or on  one of the Circles? That would have laid claim to her...but humans do not quite work that way....

  Opening   the  Fridge, Si took out a traay of smaall pastries, made by her own hand, that were considered favorites amoung the Angels,...The  Ambassador spot on the ship would be a god place to start...but you must be forth coming  about your linage........or  Fuji...either  way? Un-li will have first choice, since she is older then you....you are in luck, that Oliver has claimed this space for ESN and the AP....none other of our kind  would  tread this far from the Circles, and the Angels  aboard ship, are below our status...

She was nervous in more ways than one but held them at bay.

  Si's eyes shift around as she tries to be..somewhat..guarded.ahhh...well... i inderstand  that you will be ...putting this on....when you are  ready to leave your Motel?  this   split side gown is  rather  attractive  don't you thiink?..I have one in Blue and  one in  sliver grey?

Jesse looks through some of Si's things and finds something a bit more "her" than what some of the other girls were wearing.  She looked to Si and held it up.

Thoughts? she asked carefully.  Once she got the approval or nay, she went to one of the other girls to have her hair curled and then she put on a dashing of make up and burgundy lip stick.

Melia knocks on the door as is proper, some habits never die. Once allowed in, she pauses nervously glancing about for something like the dress she'd worn at the last ball. Formal dress and events weren't really her forte, and picking clothes for these events was an exercise in frustration. She glances around looking for help...

  Si left Jesse's  side to Greet Melia,...i know you  will be on the run abit to night too, before the ball?... So...let's  get you your dress and shoes..I told  Jesse that  Frans  and  another  wil meet you are your Motel in an Hour or so to do your hair and MAke up...

Melia looks at the Commander, "thank you ma'am, I'm just no good at picking out what to wear. I kind of get lost after realizing I have a... well unique color palette, and not to wear the same outfit twice. It's nowhere near as easy going on mission." She smiles a bit shyly.

Hawkeye enters greeting Commander Si as she starts to peruse the dresses the Commander has pulled out for folks to pick from. She goes from item to item, a small part of her wanting to show up the Everest folks especially the Admiral. She picks a long dark blue dress with a high thigh cut along the front and a single strap up the same side. She tries it on and grins, to herself, certain she'll show up the Everest women at the ball.

Jesse hangs up the dress to be brought to her later and a quick stash of body deodorants and sprays and hair items that she preferred.

She brought the dress and small garment bag to Si and have a bit of a long sigh.

A girls work is never done she says lowly.  She looks to Si and gives a half smile.  Guess you know a thing or two about that.

Seeing Melia enter and get her stuff ready she wondered what they would be doing exactly.

Where are we suppose to meet up with LC? She asks between her, Melia, and So.

Melia glances around, some "hotel I think," she says when she is sure no one else is around. "The part I dislike the most is having to pick something to wear for these events, it's so difficult. When I wasn't like this, it was so much easier I could wear lots of different colors, it's just so hard to find something that's not the same colors every time." she says with a slight frown opening up a little to Jesse. She holds back on the hotel information not sure who could be listening, or who is privy to the information on the op.

She gives Melia a shrug and partial smile.  She could sense the other girl feeling a bit more comfortable around her and didn't want to drop the ball.  Hard to find good associates to work with, aside from the ones you can render-boys with after hours.

      frans  , Eckles  and Mara  came   in first ,  and other  Ladies followed up. Beth and Lyri  weren't too far behind. Outside the doors  were to  Female SEC  Troopers to prevent  any  accidental...male..intrusions .

 The Commander   points to the  wines and  soft drinks as well as some finger  foods There are some orderlies there  who have  set up a  a pair  of  tri-fold , full length Mirrors.

  there are 4  racks  of   angelsilk  dresses  racked by  thigh..mid-thigh..knee..and full length, with, most  Colors  represented as well as a few that 'shimmer' and reflect other  colors.

 ..Alright ladies.. we have  about 15 hours until we  Dock at the Etna... then another  3 hours  before   we must  attend the Ball....

 ..Both  Oliver  and  Admiral Richards have agreed on a...meeting-half way..with the  dress code... allowing  men to   wear Dress  Blues  and Pins.... and  allowing   women to wear dresses of thier choice... I think it should be obvious, after the last Etna ball... that our Ladies  were wearing Unifroms, While   Sevente's  folk, worn dresses and Gowns.....  This is Our  Chance to shine back...

Entering the commander's quarters like a school girl summoned to headmasters office for a reprimand, Harry would slowly drift over to the corner of the room. She didn't belong here. She didn't belong in this room full of attractive women drinking wine as they discussed dresses and makeup. She belonged down on the hangar dec, dressed in grease stained overalls and bantering with the ground grew as they worked on the Bee or with Grit and his friends drinking beer in the Rec Dec, anywhere but here!

With her discomfort rising by the minute Harry wondered whether she'd be able to slip back out of the room unnoticed and hide somewhere, the guards outside won't stop me leaving...would they?

  Gai  came In with her  own Little  Kit. She Smiled at  Harry and Waved, causing more then a few of the Other Girls  to look over  at  Harry.

  The pilot was  bubbling over,..ahh  Amico Della donna! Angel Silk Dresses!!! I have only had one in my life time..si?....  her   smile faded.....i..lost it that night....  then she  brightened,..but this is new times..si?.. we get to be faces of the  fleet..rather  then toys for the boys....

With the rest of the girls suddenly noticing her as a result of Gia's enthusiastic waving Harry would find herself smiling nervously in response to all of the attention she was suddenly receiving, with most of her whisky disappearing within moments of being handed the glass as she tried to calm herself down. What is wrong with you? You'll happily agree to fight the biggest guy in the fleet yet you can't cope with a room full of women and trying on a dress or two?! her mind scolded, with Harry wondering why it sounded so much like her mother.

With commander Si asking if anyone needed any help Harry would tentatively raise her hand before speaking in a voice that barely carried over the sound of the music "I...I don't know what I'm doing" she said in an uncharacteristically meek voice "...I don't know anything about dresses or makeup or...or...shoes...I...I don't think I can do this" she said, feeling completely ashamed of her lack of knowledge on a topic that seemed second nature to the rest of the female species and that she was letting everyone down because of it.

  Gai  frowned,..that isnnot  true... you will see... her head when  back and  forth tossing her nape length  blonde hair.

   Commander  Si  Filled  Harry's  Glass again, walking her over to the dresses.....we are not asking you to be a runway Model.. or a ....courtesan... we pick out something that will  make you looks...look...  she's snapping her Fingers

With all of the girls being really nice to her, which was slightly better than them all laughing at her but still leaving her feeling like the weak link of the group, Harry would take another sip of her whisky as she tried to think of an answer for the Commanders question "I...I'm not sure...I've always thought I had nice legs?" she offered uncertainly, almost expecting a gale of laughter in response before then being informed that that wasn't the case "I'll also need something with sleeves to hide my...um...ink" she then added, remembering Roy's earlier advice concerning her sleeve of street ink and how it could be used to identify her should she be seen later on in the night.

Slowly moving down the rack of dresses she would eventually select a tastefully short, black dress with a single sleeve that she would nervously hold out for Commander Si's approval, with her clearly not confident enough to make this particular decision on her own.

She wasn't sure if it was the alcohol or the fact that the girls were going out of their way to make her feel welcome, but Harry would find herself quietly chuckling with the rest of them as they laughed and joked with one another. It wasn't the kind of banter she was used to, what with her normally preferring the company of men, but all the same she was beginning to enjoy herself despite her stomach tying itself in knots.

Not wanting to be the odd one out, Harry would strip out of her uniform with the rest of them before slipping into the black dress she'd picked out, allowing a few minutes to settle before stepping in front of the mirrors just as the Commander had instructed. The black dress was nice, however it was the aqua dress that she would fall in love with; her jaw practically hitting the floor as she marvelled at the way the colour seemed to perfectly fit with her eyes and hair "oh wow...that's....that's gorgeous" she softly breathed whilst gently smoothing out the single sleeve "my mother always wanted me to be a little princess...guess this is as close as I'm ever going to get"

  Eckles smiled,..pretty nice there Lynch!.. some Aussie pilot my have  wipe the steam from his googles...

Still blushing as a result of Eckles comment concerning a certain pilot, Harry would give a brief chuckle before replying to Lyri with a smile "ah but my mother wanted me to be a Disney princess so me being a tomboy kind of broke her heart" it certainly screwed things up between us that was for sure! her mind added with her wondering how much of a factor that had been on her fall from grace just as Beth made her own contribution to the princess topic "I hope you're right Beth, I'm not sure Grit really understands what kind of person I was before signing up...I'm kind of worried that him seeing it up close on this Op might scare him off" she said as she carefully stripped out of that beautiful dress so as to change back into her uniform, deciding that perhaps there was space in her wardrobe for a dress.

  Frans  was Getting dressed as well as she added,..I have had More  dates  then i can count.... but of those dates i can count...maybe..3 that i would give a second shot?  The end all is this?  If they  don't want what you are... they shouldn't have ..who you are....  she   smiles,..maybe that's why i'm still  single?  who knows?.. but there's  guys out there, that are worth the time.... you just got to find them...or?..hope they find you...

"Yeah...I guess you're right, though I really don't fancy going back to being single...then again single in Delta has to be better than single in Alpha, right?" she said whilst buttoning up her jacket. At least this time around she could chat people up without fear of how it might effect her career or whether she'd be ordered to be someones playmate as a result.

Dressed once again in her uniform, Harry would offer the girls a bashful smile as she quietly spoke to them all "thanks for the help guys, I never could have done this without you" she said, meaning every word that she'd said to them before continuing in a more cheerful tone "right well I'd better find the rest of my gear, I may know nothing about dresses and makeup but I know an awful lot about sharp pointy things" she said with a mischievous laugh before bidding them all farewell and heading on her way.

Jesse had been given a mild guilt trip over going to the party with Doc and Mila.  She understood why, but also didn't want to go for feeling like a wallflower at these things.  Eitherway, she would go as a member of the covert thing with Doc and Mila.

She had gotten rid of a few of her own attire when she was on her last mission and only knew of one person that would be able to accommodate her.  Being as she was a cousin.

She slowly crept up to the door and tapped on it, probably a little softer than she had intended it to actually be.

Si showed her to the dresses.  She looked among them and wasn't really finding anything quickly to suit her.

Jesse eventually found a navy blue pant, skirt suit that wasn't very promising of a good time and looked more uniform than dressy.

She headed off to a corner and began changing.  She put her hair in a braid and then curled it under binding it with bobby pins.

Teela started looking through the dresses. She had something in mind and hoped it was amidst the bounty of dresses the Commander had. "You have lovely taste, Commander." She said as she kept looking.

 The Commander smiled with a nod.  Oliver spoils  me.... It  angelsilk is a weakness of mine. I soothe  my  guilt, by allowing  my people to look good, perhaps  wearing something, they would not attempt to buy, other wise.

 ..but.. this is  Just another battle.... The Empire  deals  In fear, and In horror... The EDT deals in threats and Lies..... Th e APF deals  with comradeship.....

Teela turned back to the Commander, gave her a nod and a smile. "Well said, ma'am," she replied before pulling out a dress that caught her eye. It was black Angelsick with subtle flashes of purple in the light. Her hair would cascade over the dress and shimmer with it. Shoulderless, sleeveless and cut low in the back it showed enough cleavage to tantalise and would give her room for her wings. The skirt flared out and would flow when she walked and the slit up the left side would show just enough leg to make men wonder at what else it might reveal. This was a dress that would catch the eye of even the most dedicated soldier. Paired with a set of classic stiletto heels that would accentuate her height she would have eyes on her, one set of eyes in particular.

"Commander - I love this dress. I think I've found what I'd love to wear to the Ball."

  The Commander   motioned to the various , doors that lead to  the two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and  some screens for those who might be bashful.

After passing the pair of female SEC troopers on the door, Harry would tentatively step into Commander Si's quarters still not feeling entirely comfortable with her surroundings or in the company of so many women, many of whom in her humble opinion were drop dead gorgeous which only added to her anxiety, though hopefully she wouldn't burst into tears this time around.

After saluting the Commander she would offer her a nervous smile as she spoke to her in an uncharacteristically shy voice "I thought I'd better try and find something nice to wear to the ball this evening...though I'll probably need a little help again" she said, eyeing the racks of dresses as if she was afraid they would explode if she got too close to them or picked the wrong colour "...I may even risk my neck and wear heels this time around" she said with a nervous laugh before cautiously heading for the nearest rack, desperately trying to remember what she'd been told last time she was here. Ok so I need a dress with sleeves, that will show of my legs, in either blue or silver to go with my eyes...yeah that shouldn't be too hard to find...right?

  Gia Popped up from   behind the Rack of  sheaths, like a  Blonde   Jill-in-the Box.

  ..Now?  you  will pick  what you like, of course?.... But.. if you go with   a Knee high, with a slit, the sleeves  will look better, Si?

  The Commander   walked over and   looked at Gai who grinned a bit  meekly.....so?.... Harry?.. I may call you that   in here, I should think? the angel accent flowing around  words  like a cool stream.

 ..   It is my Undertsanding, you and whomever your  escort is.. will be in... her eyes  roll.....Shadow's  partywagon... you will disembark.. and   enjoy the party, Until the high sign is givien... then...  you wil be told the co-ordinates of the safe house that you will be  changing into work clothing..... the Dresses, as  before, are yours  to keep... place them in the bags that will have your names on..take your gear out.. put your party things in.. they will be shipped back to the  Hermes...

 she  sipped her   wine and added,..once the sweep is done....  you all will be able to mingle.. the station is  under new management....but there  are still fights in the streets and bars... so none will take too much notice or  arms carriers... there are still pirvateeers  showing up for  work and such...

Teela sets the dress down carefully and begins to slip out of her uniform, not feeling bashful in the slightest. She very neatly stacks her holstered and sheathed weapons on top of her uniform before taking off her bra and slipping into the dress, delighted by the feel of the smooth Angelsilk against her skin. The dress fits perfectly and definitely fits into the category of "All eyes on me."

She turned to Commander Si and smiled. "Oh yes, I think this is the one. I followed your advice Harry; what do you think?" She gave a small twirl so Harry could see the entire dress and laughed as the skirt flared out and flowed around her legs.

 The Commander  walked around the  rooms. reminding the ladies of   snacks  and  drinks. while watching  to see if  anyone needed help, or, if they seemed to shy about  choosing  a certain dress.

 ..Ladies?..Remember any of the  dresses  displayed  are yours to  wear..and keep. I have  never  had  to worry about Creds.... but i went to the  Earth Academy  , and  i saw the difference between those who were able to spend, and those who could not...Please, do not heistate  to pick out, what you like.

 Frans  Had  a shimmering green dress she Picked out, hanging behind her. as she worked  on Brivet's makeup...I think it is also a point? there are not many places to get  Angelsilk this far from the paradise  system.....the clothing    we are able to  buy out  here. must be tried on ..or fitted..or both!

Teela looks at the makeup and hair stations and grins. “Right, ladies, make me beautiful!”

Giving a slight start as Gia suddenly jumped out from behind one of the racks Harry would offer her a confused look before simply deciding to agree with friends opinion on women's fashion "Yeah...I guess so" she said, adding that little tidbit to the list as the Commander approached her "of course...um...ma'am?" she nervously replied, unsure as to whether she should use her first name as well, whatever that was, or stick to using her rank as usual.

Hearing Teela call her name she would turn to watch as the Angel twirled around in her dress "oh wow that's nice, the poor sod doesn't stand a chance" she said with a smile, pausing to run an appraising eye along the other woman's figure "Yeah, he's doomed" she said giggling in delight at her friends find "If I can even look half as good as you do in a dress then Will will be a very happy man" she said turning her attention back to the rack's.

Her first find was a dark blue knee length dress however upon trying it on she would discover that the neckline was far to low for her relatively small bust and so would be returned to its hanger to be replaced several minutes later by a silvery blue dress with a slit up one side and a pair of gauzy sleeves that went down to her wrists.

Standing in front of the mirror Harry would examine her reflection, liking what she saw but completely lacking the experience and confidence to make the decision by herself. Turning around to face the others she would nervously bite her lower lip as she shyly asked their opinion, hoping that they wouldn't be too cutting in their comments “so what do you think? I mean the sleeves kind of hide my ink... but it looks ok on me right?”

    Gia pops  up an again from doing makeup on Mara....it ..is  very fetching, Si?.... but  something.......

   Eckles  as  a Brgandy  sheath on, as she looks from her own mirror  to  Harry...yeah....not  so sure.. the Legs looks good...

    Commander  Si  nodded,..it  will suit you well  enough..indeed.... But the sleeves  do not  say...'harry'... try this one?..in the end? it is you who makes the dress..not the other  way about...

 she has a  thigh  hight   dress  with the  higher neckline  but translucent  sleeves  , that  allows  the 'ink' to  shift and  simmer under the sleevs instead  for  'hiding it"

Silently nodding her head in response to the other girl feedback about her dress being good but lacking a certain something, she would slip out of the silvery blue dress and carefully lay it across the back of a chair before taking the one Commander Si had picked out for her to try. The dress was a similar colour to the one she'd chosen but with a higher neckline and hem that showed off her legs that were only slightly marred by a pair of pale white lines on either side of her left leg from where an assassin had plunged a steak knife through her calf after the last ball she had attended. It was the sleeves however that set it apart from the other with the filmy fabric catching the light so that her tattoos shimmered just beneath the surface "oooh this is nice" she said her eyes lighting up as she twisted her right arm this way and that, marvelling at the way it shone "Yes...this is the one" she said with a single nod of her head.

With her dress chosen it was then a simple matter of getting either Gai or Frans to do her makeup and then finding a pair of shoes to go with her new dress.

 A Smile came to the Commander  as  she nodded to HArry  and  went off to see  if  others  needed help.

 Gia  was  helping Gretty Billups. Frans  waved her over.

 Frans loked at her  and asked,..well?... you want shiny eye shadow?.. or  smokey... or  Just understanded  with some  Hightlights... and  I'll work out from there.

After giving Frans a look that said she had no idea what she was talking about and that she may as well have asked who her favourite Astrophysicist was she'd try her best to answer the question "um...understated I guess...nothing too fancy just...you know...me on a good day" she said almost certain that she was making hash of it. She just hoped that what she'd said would make some form of sense to Frans so that she could work her magic on her.

 Frans    crossed  an arm, the   elbow on the other  rested on it as she  tapped   her teeth with a finger nail.

  Reaching for  her COM, she  began  to pull up images of  chicks  from  Vid shows  or  commericals...

 ..now?.. you see.. here.. this  chick has  that  shiny, but smoke  grey  stuff  all over   thr  insides of  the  eyesockets?...all of, that  makes the  color  of your eyes,  pop more?.... then  note how her eye liner...um..underlines... her   eyes?.. then a wee bit of  darkener  for her   eyebrows, and she's  hunting for prey?

 ..now  , this one is  Lighter.. not  as much.. not as  high into the sockets... this  still brings out the eyes, but the eyes  are doing most of the work here... watch the  vid  as she  hawks the orange juice,  the camera plays  on her  eyes  shifting to  each  selling point as it pops up on the screen?...They did that on purpose , so   her eyes  draw you in and point you to what the  company wants you to see...

 ..and this  last One?.... a Dating site for  CAp ship  singles?   This  woman is being smooth and 'normal'.. her  eyes  have just enough stuff to  enhance them  without  being overstated, because   they want you to see the whole picture....

 There is a shrug,..I can do   any of them.. i can  mess with any of them or blend  them together... You ever get a chance to see the cover of the Magazine  in Shadows  Quarters... The work i did on Hannah as one of my best...

 Eckles tossed her  , her own COM that had the Picture in a gallery... Showing the LC and HAnnah walking down the  stairs  at the  Largrans' Mull based   Mansion..Frans Looked  at  Eckles who just sorta blushed .... Frans  shook her head  and   enlarged  Hannah's  face and hair.....this is  about halfway between Dating sight and Orange Juice chick?

 ..keep in mind, Most of the guy's  eyes  won't get up much futher  then  Your  dress... , she gave a wry smile.

Leaning in close to Frans so that she could see the screen of her comms unit, Harry would listen as she was told the difference between the different styles that had been mentioned with her trying to picture what they would look like her "I think perhaps the second one...the first one is nice and all but it's perhaps a bit much for me to try and pull off...besides which I already have a date" she said, deciding that the way the orange juice girl's makeup subtly drew out the colour of her eyes was what she was after and would work nicely with the colour of her dress. Had she been on the pull then she'd have definitely gone with the first style as that chick had looked seriously hot!

Settling herself down in the chair she would let Frans work her magic and watch the transformation take place.

"You would have them eating out of your hands tonight if not already spoken for, Harry." Teela said from her own seat.

"Yeah well, you've never seen my sister and mother, they're the good looking ones of the family, I was always the ugly duckling" she replied in a bitter voice as she recalled all the teasing and whispering she'd endured as a teenager. Though considering all the other things she'd had to contend with back then perhaps that had been the least of her worries?

"I may not be a super model, but I have a cute boyfriend and scrub up pretty nicely with a little help from my friends" she said smiling at Frans who was currently hard at work trying to make her look beautiful with Harry more than happy about what she had achieved so far.

Teela tensed and held out a hand to Harry. "You are none of that now. The ugly ducks were in that sim we did, not sitting next to me, do you understand. Give yourself some credit because you are beautiful. If I see thoughts of ugly ducklings flying around you I will shoot them out of the sky," she said, giving Harry's hand a squeeze.

With her cheeks flushing pink in response to Teela's continued compliments Harry would gently squeeze the other girls hand as she softly spoke "thank you, I'm not very good at this whole being a girl thing, I just hope Will likes what he sees...I don't think he's ever seen me in a dress before" she quietly said before giving a brief chuckle "also you do realise that ducks are nowhere near as dangerous as Will and I made out right?"

"Then he shall be in for quite the surprise when he see how lovely his girlfriend is. And I did do some research so I am aware that ducks aren't as dangerous as they appeared in the sim. Something about not being able to hold weapons. Platypus, however," she shuddered, "appear to be a deadly menace."

"yeah small children feed them bits of bread" Harry added with a smile as Teela pointed out that ducks were nowhere near as deadly as she'd first believed them to be. As for Platypus Harry simply wasn't sure whether or not Teela was being serious or simply playing an elaborate joke and so decided to let that one slide for the time being.

As Frans finished applying the final touches to her makeup Harry would stare at her refection in the mirror scarcely able to believe that it was her that she was seeing "oh wow that's...amazing...thank you so much!" Harry gushed as she turned to give the woman a hug before turning to face the rest of the girls "so what do you think? Will I do?"

 the girls  nod  and  whistled,,, Eckles  said,..isn't that the question  Will  , is going to ask?

 Frans   Hits  her with a makeup pad.

"Got there before me, Eckles!" Teela said with a laugh. "In all seriousness I think he won't be able to keep hands or eyes off of you the entire time, Harry."

   tables were set  with Coffee  pots.. Hot Tea..soft drinks  and  wine, with finger food  and   cakes. The whole of the Living area  had   racks of  Angel Silk Dresses,  sheaths, gowns... and in between.. off  should   one shoulder, no shoulders .


  V  cuts.. scooped..  and many had  deep plunging backs

 Shoes  were in Boxes.. many of them  white , but  cartons  of  shoe paint    sat  in the  extra  room  for painting to match dresses...

  The MAster  Bedroom  would be for changing, and some screens were set up out side.. Frans  had her  make Up  kits  set up  by the Mirrors Nil had  set up  around the  rooms...

 Si  waited  until most of the ladies  were there  and   announced,..Most of you know how this  works.. for  the  new girls.. You simple   Pick your  Dress.. check it out.. when you decide on one its, yours... Carol has  a MAke up area  set up for those  who  want help... Her  and Eckles   will   set your hair too, if you wish.

  This is the  first Offical   hosting, Bura  has  done since  they reclaimed thier planet.. we must  look good, and   act accordingly.... Now?.. relax... check out the   dresses.... we get to do this from time to time?  Bur  we  never know when our  next  time will be!

 Sam had walked in and then a few minutes afterwards she spoke to the whole group. Sam was a little shy not of her looks but just of people in general but she was always better around girls than guys that is for sure. Sam would start to look for a silver or white dress, and she will ask the other girls which styles would look better on her small frame.

Nikki stopped at her quarters to pick up her hair paints and book on hair braiding before standing at Si's door.  Finally she knocked and was allowed in.  She thought she fell into and at teen prom movie.

Cautiously entering the Captain's quarters almost as if she expected something to explode, Harry would gaze upon the racks of dresses with look in her eyes that verged on pure terror. She didn't have a clue as to what she was looking for or even where to start, sure she knew she had nice legs, and according to a certain redhead, a nice ass but how exactly was she supposed to translate that information into a style?

Moving to stand beside Nikki she would quietly speak to her friend with a decidedly shell shocked expression on her face "the little black dress is a classic...right?" she cautiously ventured with her wondering whether now was a suitable time to start drinking again.

 Lizzy walks in wearing slippers and a robe, with a big smile on her face, Lizzy listens and then starts too look for a dress. Then she sees Harry and walks over to her, and says," Hi Harry so lets find you and I some amazing dresses shall we. If you see a low cut front, and backless dress let me know Harry okay, you need one that shows off your cute butt."

 Lizzy has a smile that wont quit and she looks at all the dresses looking for the perfect one for Harry and herself.

   a few other   Lady officers  walked in ,  after  getting off the elevator.  Frans   was   talkign to Chatty Smith  showing her   differant   ways  for her   hair  depending on her Dress... she  was    thoughtfully , trying to pick between  3...

 Abby  entered, with Brivet  and  Gia close  Behind. Brivet  didn't  even acknowledge   Abby,, Gia   have her a  smile  and   went  straight to the racks.

  The Captain  moved over   with glass of  wine for Abby. She  spoke   softly, her  eyes   scanning the racks  and watching the    women . She  seemed to take a lot of pleasure..or perhaps  pride, to seeing the ladies   done up.

 ..I saw the Gun Cam vids.... some of the piltos  won't  trust you...some  will shrug it off.  Unless   it happens again. Then... things  will take a nasty   turn. Anyone who says they  aren't worried   about kills. Is a Liar .... its how you get them, that counts... I don't know what training you had.... it seems  that the   academies   out here  are lacking....or?.... That they are  trying to replace pilots so fast, they cannot teach everything there is to teach...

 Si  puts  a hand on Abby's  right  arm and smiles at her, ,knowing  many, if not all the   women will see this...You list to  Shadow, you listen to  Captain Morris, and you listen to the  experianced  pilots ... as you   get more ....real.... combat hours.. you make pick up somethings  yourself...  A big Grin and Beth was Gone pulling a silvery Green dress from the rack  and went into the bed room..

 Thank you , Ma'am....  Abby  wondered over to the far   right  had  side of the room  starting at the racks  there,  that would take her on a  pilgrimage   along the walls all the way over to the  left side of the room, ,where  Frans   and Eckles held court for hair and makeup.

Following Lizzy over to the racks Harry would nod her head in response to the instructions she'd just been given as to what to look for, feeling just a little like a kid shopping with her mum. It was as she was carefully working her way through the rack of dresses adjacent to the one Lizzy was looking through, the look on the blonde pilot's face betraying the fact that she was terrified that extravagant Angel silk dresses would burst into flame if she even dared to touch them, she would speak to Lizzy in a low voice "I'm kind of surprised to see you here so early...I'd of thought you'd still be...um...enjoying your birthday present" she said with a sideways glance that more than hinted at who she was referring to and her suspicions as to what they'd gotten up to last night "...well...there's a dark green dress here that would probably go nicely with your hair" Harry said rather uncertainly as she pointed out a dress with a plunging neckline that she wouldn't even dream of wearing, but then again unlike Harry, Lizzy certainly had confidence to flaunt the gifts that had been bestowed upon her.

It was then that she would spot a little white dress with a halter neck "oh hey this looks kind of pretty!" she said pulling out and holding it up against herself. The snow white dress was backless falling to around the small of her back with a hemline that would be around mid thigh on here, meaning that there would more than a little flesh on display "what do you reckon? You don't think it's a little too...um...showy?" Harry asked, knowing that Lizzy had a far more intimate knowledge of her physique than anyone else currently in the room.

 Lizzy smiled and looked for dresses, then Harry would point out a dark green one that looked amazing and was very low cut it looked like on Lizzy it would go down to her navel.

 Then Harry brought up her birthday present, Lizzy chuckled and smiled, Yes I got an amazing birthday present from Karl ,he was very good and we had a lot of fun, I am surprised you didn't hear me. Lizzy would laugh a little and keep smilong, and she would whisper into Harry's ear and say, Harry hun you are better at certain things though, but for a guy he was great.

 Lizzy smiled and then saw the white dress, Oh yes that will look amazing on you Harry come on let's try them on.

 Lizzy really not modest at all, just stepped behind on of the changing screens, dropped her robe ,took off her bra and slid the dark green dress on. It took a second and then it seemed to become a second skin. It was very low cut down to her navel, and covered half of each breast but it barely covered everything. It also cringed to her curvy butt, and was backless. It also barely went low enough to cover everything,  but looked amazing. Lizzy would step out from behind the screen and say,What do you think, does this dress look good on me everyone.
Her comment was directed to Harry once she got changed, Captain Si and all the other Ladies she wanted everyone's opinion.

Listening as Lizzy quietly spoke of her birthday present from Karl, Harry couldn't help but feel another stab of jealousy at the idea of someone sleeping with the beautiful redhead beside her, and although she wasn't usually one to kiss and tell she couldn't help but feel a small measure of satisfaction when she whispered back "To be honest I was little preoccupied with keeping the noise down myself...if you know what I mean" a suggestive smile gracing her lips only to be quickly replaced by an embarrassed flush as she heard Lizzy's whispered comment.

With Lizzy stepping behind one of the screens to change Harry would opt to use Captain Si's bedroom where she would have a little more privacy. Once inside she would quickly strip down to only her knickers before changing into the little white dress, finding it to be a little shorter than she had originally thought it was but finding that it contrasted nicely with her pale blue eyes and the ink on her arm. Remembering the Captain's advice concerning Angel silk Harry would give the fabric a moment to adjust to her body temperature, neatly folding her uniform and placing it on the edge of the bed, before shyly stepping back into the main room in time to see Lizzy stepping out from behind the screen.

Upon seeing the dark green dress that Lizzy was currently posing in, Harry would feel decidedly more confident as she realised that her dress was nowhere near as daring as she had originally feared it to be "wow, you look amazing...that dress is so you" she said with a smile, deciding that only Lizzy could pull off a dress that revealing and make it look good.

In reply to Captain Si (msg # 126):

Hawkeye had found herself in the midst of all the women picking dresses and doing makeup. She picked out a more formal simple black dress with a plunging v in the front that ended just above her belly button, a low cut back nearly to the waist, and a high cut thigh on one side. She paired the black with a gold colored pair of heels she'd already owned, and some decent costume jewelry. Despite not being quite as well endowed as most of the women in the room, she still didn't need a bra to emphasize her bust and with out the bra the dress gave her a classic sultry look.

Waiting to use a makeup station she sipped on a cup of tea, offering help to any that'd have it.

Sarah too had found her way to the LC's quarters, though she was in her full dress whites, opting for the skirt bottom over the trousers. She sat to one side sipping on a cup of hot cocoa, her preferred hot beverage watching the other women get ready. When a station came open she applied some subtle and tasteful makeup that accented her eyes, and facial features.

Noticing Sam looking for help she smiled and stepped over, "try this one" she suggested. While it was a straight cut and had a more conservative front with a high belt, however the back dipped low to the waist with the dress ending at the floor hiding the feet.

 Sam kept looking all the dresses where gorgeous but they all had low backs, she wasn't afraid to show her front but her back with her whip scars she didn't want to show them off that much.

 When Sarah came over to help Sam and picked out a beautiful dress for her, She just looked defeated and said," Ma'am they are all so beautiful and this one you chose is gorgeous but Ma'am I need one with a high back, I think it would be better to show you Ma'am."


 Sam would walk over to one of the screens and pull her duty uniform shirt up as far as she could showing Sarah her nastily whip scarred back. The worse was it looked like whoever whipped her tried to hit the same scars so they where bad and raised due to a lot of scar tissue. She would then lower her shirt and say," Sorry Ma'am I need to cover my back as much as possible, I wish I could wear that beautiful dress." 

  Beth came out of the Bed Room, she    did  some poses, though she didn't have shoes on.

  ..Very Nice.... I'm sure he will like ti.. as  will many other   men..

 Beth   smiles,..whether ..'he'..like it  or Not.. I like it..I have shoes  to match in My  quarters.

  Flores   hand on a Lt  Green  sheath, just a bit over the  thigh, no shoulder or  straps..She grins  at  The Captain,..Thank you Ma'am... we can never repay your  for these outings!

  Frans  had a  Dark purple   Knee  lenght... Eckle s wore  a dark Blue knee length that had no shoudlers.

 Mara   and Gia were   looking in the  Mirrors Gia  had  a dark gold  sheath... Mara   had a   light Yellow knee length

 Lizzy smiled when Harry said she had to keep the noise down, oh when Harry and her where last together because of the time of day Lizzy had to stick her face in a pillow not to make too much noise. " Oh yes glad you had a good night as well Harry, I had a great birthday and thank you for the dance and song."

 When Lizzy came out to show the dress she was trying on, she saw Harry come out at the same time and the look on Harry's face told Lizzy she had the right dress for sure. When she made the comment she would say back to Harry," Thank you Harry you really think it is me, it isn't to much is it?"

 Then Lizzy took a look at Harry in her beautiful white dress and her face lit up and she said," Wow Harry that dress looks amazing on you, and I know the perfect color scheme to use come on lets do your make-up okay." Lizzy will then head to a make-up table and when one was open she said," Okay Harry have a seat, let me do my magic."

 Lizzy took about 30 minutes of constant work and kept telling Harry not to move or touch her face. Lizzy would use silver's and blue's and blend them and few other highlights to make her makeup match her dress, her eyes and her complexion. After Lizzy was done she would say," Damn that came out really good, Okay Harry take a look." Lizzy will hand Harry a Mirror to look at her makeup.

Anita thanked the guard as she approached the cabin. Standing in the entry she watched the other Ladies enjoying what appeared to be a feeding frenzy, moving from rack to rack assessing the host of Angle silk gowns that were available. The scene reminded Anita of a Harrods sale, bringing a smile to her countenance, that would make an excellent counterbalance to the footage of war. Waiting at the entry Anita tried to catch Captain Si's attention to seek permission to enter, and to capture some footage of the event.

 Captain Si,  looked over to the  Door . ..LT Zellum?  Have you come to   try on a  dress?.. You are welome  to , if your  work allows it?

  Abby   Came out  with  Lime Green sheath,  her figure  might not  be as  Athletic  as  Flores, but  the  dress didn't   hide  any of her  gifts...

There was a quick laugh as Lizzy asked if her dress wasn't too much "Lizzy love, only you can pull off a dress like that...trust me you look amazing" she said with a genuine smile on her face. When it became her turn to be complimented Harry would blush, still totally unused to the concept that anyone thought she was attractive let alone in a dress such as the one she was currently wearing.

What followed was thirty minutes of nail biting terror as she allowed Lizzy to do her makeup. It wasn't that she didn't trust Lizzy to do a good job, far from it in fact. It was just that to her makeup was a dark art that she had never been able to fathom and so she was always in awe of anyone capable of transforming her from plain ol' Harry to someone else entirely.

As the mirror was handed to her so that she could see the results for herself there would be a shocked gasp as an entirely different woman stared back at her "oh my...Lizzy...how...how did you do this I look...I look like a totally different person" she stammered as she turned her head so as to get the full effect of her transformation "Thank you Lizzy I look...wow...I'll have to find some way of paying you back" she said with a smile as she carefully placed the mirror down onto the table.

With her dress and makeup sorted out, all she needed now was a pair of shoes and the all clear from a med tech, which considering as she could see one in a rather fetching dress shouldn't prove to be much of a problem at all.

 Lizzy waited for Harry to look into the mirror and when Harry complimented her master piece, " Oh Harry it is just using the right base, and blend the right colors in the right areas and presto, normal  Harry to Princess Harry. Well I hope you like the different person."

 Then Harry too several different looks moving her head around to get the full effect.When Harry complimented her work she smiled and said," Oh you are welcome, what are friends for. You don't have to pay me back Harry we are friends when I need something you will be there for me." Lizzy will give Harry a hug and watch her head over to the shoes.

 Lizzy will then do her makeup, using greens, to match her dress and make her eyes pop. Then using pinks to match her hair.  She blended it altogether and did an amazing makeup job. It took about 30 minutes. When she was done she had to find some shoes and color them.

 She will head over and look at all the styles of shoes, she will see Captain Si and walk over to her and say," Ma'am thank you again for my cake yesterday it was amazing, also who would I talk too about officially changing my last name to my Mom's Maiden name O'Conner Ma'am?"

 Some of the girls   were working on shoes  and Makeup now. Lona L:ake, Chatty Smith  and Toni Roger  were  dumbfounded  as  they looked at themselves in the morrors... Toni was   crying a bit , with he rhands up to her  face.

 NO-Ca, seemed  less effected but she liked her   dress,  and  as tending to he rown make up.

Melia was sifting through dresses with Orria near her. In many ways Orria was too young for the beautiful dresses, she'd rapidly grow out of them and as far as she'd seen the Captain didn't collect child size dresses. It didn't matter as much since Orria had a few nice dresses that Melia had obtained through Orria's allowance from the Hunter clan, and her aide duties to Shade.

The real struggle was picking a dress that was conservative and hid most of her scars, the arms and legs were... more okay, the gouges and massive wide tears in her torso and sides she was less comfortable with.

Melia sighs a little, "I don't know about this one..." She says cautiously not wanting to hurt Orria's feelings, she holds up the dress against herself for Lizzy to see,

"Hey Lizzy, what do you think of this one. Orria picked it for me, I'm kinda nervous about it since it shows so much skin and my scars so much." She says as her hands unconsciously wrap around her stomach with the dress still in them.

Sarah followed Sam over behind the screen and looked at the scars, she nodded after a moment. "I understand your hesitation. We can find a high back dress, or you could try what PO Kristensen does." Sarah said gesturing generally towards Melia and Orria, "She has scars as well, though hers are colored differently I've seen her wear conservative cut dresses with sheer fabric panels on them so you can subtly see them without exposing the scars as openly. Though you might ask her, she may be able to help you more expediently."

Sarah pages the rack for a moment, then holds up two a deep royal blue dress with a high neckline that cover all if not most of the back.

 Then Lizzy was again looking at the shoes and she finds these beautiful pair of 5" Heels again  They are white so she needs to get them painted to match her dress. She will ask," Where can I get these painted Glittery green to match my dress?" She is still wearing her Mom's ruby earrings and her Ruby necklace.

 Then Melia got her attention and held up a gorgeous dress, Lizzy loved it and loved the color on her and she says," Oh hell yes that would look amazing on you Melia go try it on and you will see what I mean. You will look amazing in it trust me."

 Sam smiled and said," Thank you Ma'am." Sam will look over at P.O. Melia and her scars and sees the dress she was holding up for a redhead for an opinion. It would show alot, so Sam decided to go with shear panels and the opening in the back to start slowly.

 " Ma'am thank you they are both beautiful and I am going to go try on the one with the sheer panels and the opening in the back, thank you again, I will be right back Ma'am." Sam goes into the Bedroom and changes it shows some of her back scars and blurs her branded arm numbers. She was nervous but the dress fit her perfectly and showed off what she had very nicely and the color was amazing with her hair and skin tone.

 Sam then took a deep breath and walked back out and stood and let Sarah check how she looked in the dress." What do you think Ma'am does it look nice?"

Melia slips into the back and tires on the dress, Orria giggles at her as she struggles with the zipper until Melia kneels down to have Orria help her fasten it properly. Before stepping out she twirls in front of a mirror. Lizzy isn't wrong, the dress does look good on her. She steps out covering her belly and the black and yellow scars there, despite her reluctance the lavender does match well with her unique colors... "Well what do you think?" she asks, Orria gives a thumbs up in the background.

 Sam smiled as her Captain compliments her and yes she almost forgot they where meeting the people they where going to be working with.
Sam was about to say something when Sarah said off the record she looked Fantastic. Sam really smiled at Sarah and said," Thank you Captain that means a lot to me Ma'am." She will then look for shoes, and then say to Sarah, " Umm Captain Ma'am I am not good with make up Ma'am."

 Sam would pick a nice pair strap sandal heels, and they actually have a pair in her size and the color of her dress. She forgot they where meeting the Burians and helping them with their Fleet she wanted to make a very good first impression.

Dismissing Lizzy's enquiry, Anita quickly setup her hovercams. The units moved to different areas in the room and filmed the activity taking place while she mingled with the ladies chatting with them, getting thoughts about the gowns, shoes and the forthcoming ball. Getting considerable footage which she'll edit when an opportunity presents itself. The number and design of Gowns was substantive, this Anita attributed to the privilege of Command.

She slinked in and didn't say anything.  She was still way too unsure about wearing such.  "Well sort of Harry...I find it kinda depressing myself.  like going to a funeral or some such."

Nikki looked at the dresses, almost stymied a woman could have so many.  She looked nearly absolutely lost.  Finally she picked 3 to atleast try on.  A cream, blue, and a creamy yellow one.  She moved to a quiet area to atleast try them on.  The cream one had beading on it.  she slipped it on it looked like it was covered in beaded tulle.  Simple shouled covering she looked in the Mirror.  Her eyes went wide "Oh dear Lord...No!" she turned and looked at Harry first "I look like I belong on top of a badly made wedding cake" The dress did absolutely nothing for her save the color was complimentary to her skin tone.  cut and style were a no go.  She quickly took it off carefully.  Perhaps it would look good on someone else.
Next she tried on the silvery blue one.  It was shear and flowy,  it was not too bad, but the color was not complimentary to her skin tone.  It made her appear ashy and washed out.  Still, it was a viable dress.
She tried the buttery cream one.  The color complimented her, giving her a rather olive 'farmers tan' skin color.  She looked in the mirror.  Well she didn't scream, that was a bonus.  She could use the shoes she already had, bonus.  The dress hit the floor in a tulip style, with a gentle side slit to just above the right knee.  At it's apex was a golden stitched emblem.  The v-neck also had the same emblem.  This she thought would do well, she just needed something for her arms.  Like a few others she had scars she would rather not have others see often.
She moved over to where others could get a look and make better judgement.  "Okay...How is this one?"

Her brain was going though a few other things as well.  Mainly bike shorts and thigh holster, and a strap to hold her screwdriver.

Harry had enthusiastically returned Lizzy's hug, with beginning to feel more than a little emotional herself, though her tough girl routine demanded that she kept it under wraps, and despite what her friend had said Harry wanted to find a way repay the kind gesture. Though whether that was in the bedroom or by doing something nice for Lizzy using her own set of skills was yet to be decided.

It was as she was in the process of selecting a pair of white shoes with heels that wouldn't break her ankles that Nikki would appear wearing a cream coloured dress that went nicely with her skin tone "That looks lovely on you Nikki" Harry said as she took a few experimental steps in the shoes she'd found before discarding them for a different pair "Hey Lizzy! Do you reckon you can work your magic again?" she called, nodding her head in Nikki's direction.

Upon deciding that she had found a pair of shoes that not only looked nice but wouldn't break her ankles, Harry would walk over to where Hawkeye was currently standing "Hi, it's Cat right? Um...I was just wondering if you could give my leg the once over and...you know...give me the all clear?" she asked, hoping that she'd be able to remove the Dermaplast sheath from her leg and return to duty or in the case of shore leave off the books work. Considering that she'd been dancing on it the night before and hadn't found it to be painful she had high hopes of doing just that.

 Lizzy smiled at Melia and siad, " Yes that looks amazing on you perfect." Lizzy was having fun, she then began to put her hair up in a french braid when Harry called her over. Lizzy finished her hair and then smiled at Harry and Nikki and said," Sure Harry no problem."

 Lizzy went over to Nikki and said," Nikki you look great that dress really looks great on you, I went a little more revealing but i hope the dress looks good." Lizzy will then bring Nikki over to a makeup table and have her take a seat. " Okay just relax try to stay till and don't touch your face till i am done." Lizzy will then begin, she mixed and matched colors to bring out her eyes, complexion and the dress, she blended everything and when she was done she handed nikki a mirror, and she said," Wow another great job, I hope you like Nikki."

  STeele  and  Waggles  were headed  down the  passsage, the Guards  gave them a  bit of a look.. Steele  Just grinned at them  as  trhey neared the  Captain's Quarters.

  The   door  was  oepned  just a  tad, the   chattering   of  women , laughing, gushing   shouting  across the Bigger  Room, Made it  sound like a female version of a Football locker   room.

  Steele looked at the guard outside the  door  who  stepped   in front of them,..May I help you sir?

   The two Pilots  were trying to   see  through the  1 inch gap in the door..craning   thier necks  around the   SEC trooper...Um?  Yeah.. I wanted to ask the CAptain somthing?... Just a sec..you know?

  The Guard   shouted over his shoudler,..Ma'am!....LT  Steele wants  to come in  For a Moment?

   From  Inside   Eckels  shouted,..Is Shadow  with him?  there were  alot of Giggles.

 Then a Collective  shout  of  .. " NOOOO!" from a few dozen of the ladies.

Sarah smiled a little, Unfortunately I typically do more natural tones and haven't experimented much with more fancy techniques. Sarah explains calmly. Though there are several would be makeup artists set up, and willing to help. she says pointing to the different stations and the different Hermes crew members who are available to help.

  After   Steele and Waggles failed  attempt  at  a peep show, The Captain  stepped into the Middle of the Room..

 Dixie  speaks hip as she  looks  in the mirror  at a  Red  thigh high,Ma'am?.... what do us poor  little  darlings , with out an escort do for our arrival?

 The Captain  gave her a wry smile...Those of yu  who do not have an escort to the Ball, may  enter by yourself.. or  gather  as  part of the LC's  entourage .. it will help keep up the  image for the people  watching, and... of course.. once you  enter the  Palace, I am sure  you will see  it to be a 'target rich' environment..  the other  women laighed.

Finishing his tunnels marathon Justin slipped from the elevator and made his way towards his cabin. Spotting Steel and Waggles Swaggering towards Captain Si's Stateroom. Following them Justin heard the exchange and watched the Pilots quit the scene, in short order. Grinning Justin strolled around the deck passing the guard, giving them a friendly wave as he headed along the corridor past the secure gunrooms, which spanned the length of the deck, making his way back to his cabin.

Hawkeye had just putting the finishing touches on her make up, and applied setting spray when Harry asks for the checkup. Sure, she says her practiced fingers moving gently over the injury probing it. How does it feel? Any pain? she asks as she rotates the ankle and joints checking the muscles and tendons.

Carefully perching on the edge of the makeup table, Harry would watch as Cat gently moved her ankle as she probed the area with her fingertips "no, it feels fine" she answered, relieved to find that she didn't have to lie and that her leg really was pain free "Does that mean I'm good to go?" she then asked in a hopeful voice that made it clear that she once again wanted to be an active member of the crew.

Assuming of course that Hawkeye didn't find anything seriously wrong with her, Harry would politely thank her before heading back to her quarters to pack the clothes and equipment she would be needing for the duration of the trip, before heading down to the hangar dec to meet up with the others.

Hawkeye nodded, you're all clear. You may experience some slight muscle weakness from the healing process but that will fade fairly quickly the more you use it and work it.

She explains pulling a small pair of medical scissors and cutting off the rest of the dermaplast sheath.

"Captain Si..." she nearly held her hand up like she was in school, but did hold it together.  "Is it permissable to have an escort from another ship?  I sort of have a beau on the Ares".

looking at Lizzy.  "I was just worried about the dress, never wore Angel silk.  Got shoes and I can do makeup and hair.  was planning a braided up do.  let the color strip dangle softly over my ear." she opened her braiding book and showed a simple and elegant design.  "Oh...also brought some hair colors, temporary.Harry have some pink if you like."

Melia smiles nervously, Are you sure, I'm just afraid of what people will say about all my scars she says nervously, if you're not too busy could you do my makeup again? she asks realizing Lizzy has a lot of different people all vying for her attention.

 Lizzy smiles at Nikki and says,Okay great, the dress looks great and your hair will look amazing,  I just went with a French braid, simple but elegant.

  Lizzy was in high demand,  she then turned to Melia and said,You look amazing and also look at I think her name is Samantha,she has scars ad well. I think you look amazing, and yes of course I will.

 Lizzy does Melia's makeup and matches everything thing and uses an amazing color scheme. When she is done with Melia's makeup she will again smile and show Melua her work. Lizzy makes sure she looks perfect and then heads out to get her gear for shore leave and head to the Hanger dec.

 As Far  as Rooms go.. the palace  is  rumored to be  like a small city.. there  are main rooms in the palace itself.. and Out lying Buildings... from what i understand.. they can get   3 ships  worth of  the offcier s who are going  , per Building.. The HighChairman..or  woman, as the case may be, has  given the Hermes the east wing of the  Palace to stay for   the  extent of the shore  leave...we  are, of  course, allowed to come and Go  as  we  see fit...

 She looked around   and added,..after.. what ever  action..the Burians  need from us... I was assured that more civies and thie r families  may come down, and   'invade' the planet.. for now, only   those in the  first wave   of  enlisted   and  , of course, our ship  , will be going  down.

Tearing her eyes away from Hawkeye's fingers as they gently probed her leg Harry would hesitate for several moments over the idea of having a pink streak added to her hair "I dunno I kind of have this whole Ice Princess vibe going on here...I just wonder whether a streak might a touch too much, what do you girls think?" she asked rather uncertainly, directing the question towards Nikki and Lizzy, though any of the other girl's wanted to pitch in with an opinion she'd happily take it on board.

 Lizzy will think and say,Not pink maybe ice blue highlights keep the Ice Princess look going. I think you look amazing Harry. Lizzy was very honest with her comment,  she really thought Harry looked amazing.

With her dress picked, Melia opts for her more functional black flats.  Make up done check. With everything else done she allows Orria the option of getting her makeup done, and then they're off.

At their house Melia packs a large dufflebag with all of her wet works gear, which is really mostly her regular gear with a little less in the medkit, and extra set of surgical and plumbing tools, and uniform/clothing items of a non-standard, blend in variety.

Then she packs backpacks for the rest of the time for both her and Orria.

The final step is wrangling Orria into her dress, which wasn't really that difficult. Setting out food and a bathroom pad for the Lonnox they headed to the Hanger bay.

Hawkeye agress with Lizzy as she stands and tosses the dermaplast in the trash, "There's plenty of cooler and colder colors to pick from in the range of blues, silvers, even in the lighter shades of purple. No reason you have to change the aesthetic entirely just to do something different she advises.

Once everything is wrapped up she sends a quick comm text to Rolf asking if he'll be able to make the ball. She'd been waiting on a message from him, but at this point it was all or nothing.

She stops by the medlab and grabs her away bag, as well as a purse that is large enough for her Sanri, some medical and other items, and finally packs a bag before heading over to the Hanger to head to the ball.

 One of the other ladies helps Sam with her makeup and does a great job, using blues and silvers to match Sam's hair, eyes and dress.
Sam would curl her hair some to make it flow and then check herself, she was all set to go.
She would walk over to Sarah and say," Captain I am already to head to the Ball and represent the ESN to the Burians, and Thank you very much Captain for all of your help. " Sam was nervous about showing her back scars but Melia did as well so she was hell why not be brave.

Gently biting her bottom lip she'd think over the advice she'd been given before replying "hmm perhaps it would be best if I left the highlights until after the ball" she said, knowing that although pink wouldn't suit the current look she was going for that it would go very nicely with her candy pink bootlaces.

Sarah nods to Sam, "I'll see you on the shuttle."

She checks herself in the mirror, and then heads back to the temporary quarters where she fits her sword, she pulls a small case out of her bag. Inside a beautiful refurbished colt .45 1911 centennial complete with restored engraving, along with a picture of her parents who'd given it to her upon receiving her first command. Removing a subdued but high quality gun belt complete with saber frogs she places the belt over the top of her dress, then places the officers saber. Glad she decided to modify the belt for wear with the dress white's dress she tucks the case back into her bag and slings it over her shoulder gently. The last of the items would be transferred to the cold stone once docking had been completed.

I would hate to see  these   clothes   ..just sit?.. and to  see people   enjoy them.. well...  I cannot be happier...

Dress, Makeup, and hair done, Nikki was ready.  Mitched commed, and okayed she informed SEC about him.  Good to go there.  She still needed to gather her shoes and any gear for any 'Delta Night that might be in the works.  Being one of the last ladies out she asked Si in a quiet tone "Are we expecting a Delta night?"  either way having some protection would be advisable she knew.

  Captain Si  gave a thin lipped smile,tonight  is  all about    the welcome party.... tomorrow  we  will be  doing whatever  job it is, the Burians  Need.... the last day...we  may have to clean up some things.

"Just wanted to make sure that I am wearing the correct 'dressed to kill' armor" she gave a knowing smile.  knowing no others ladies were there she also quietly mentioned "I'm also making sure Haley does not go down.  Not until I get some definitive answers.  I am sure Lt. Morrow has kept you informed"
waiting for a moment to get a response she began to head to her own quarters for shoes and other things needed.  Then off to the Hangar Bay.  She was careful not to damage or tear the dress.

 Shadow  jogged  through the elevator doors, into the    'big' officer  country.  Captain Si Admiral Hennings  and and  Admiral HAck were there  as well , general Bale was  rounding the  Corner.

 Si gave  Shadow a sly smile , handing him a   cloth and pointing  to her own cheeks and Neck.. The ruffled    LC began to try and wipe lipstick off himself.

 Hack  frowned,change in plans?.... MAris is either smarter then i thought..or  someone he's working  with is...

We have  some information, that Casts  CAptain MAris, as  well as GE-Fi, as to either  woerkign  firctly with the Empire... or....working  against our  Forces, to try and  have....how shall i say this?.... I 'stand off", much like PAradise  had  before  we  removed the Empire..it is to be noted... many Angel vessesl left  the paradise  system, for parts unknown.. a few more Joined the   Delta Fleet, and?...the two  moons   joined the APF..Paradise  is  still listed  as   independent , however.. there is  still  regular   combat  between the Angels  and Empire  forces.

 what we have here?    Captain Si is  Bait for  CAptain MAris...  he thinks she  wishes  to transfer to  Fuji, and he is  riding in on his white horse to save her.. they threw us a curve.... they are  arriving, much earlier  then they were  supposed to.. and Maris  insists on using   the VIP Landing Pad... that means.. he and his SEC  troopers will be able to protect  the  front and rear  as they Come to collect  CAptain Si...They will also control the air lock in and out, since it has  an override

 Hennings shook his  head,..they aren't  Fuji SEC. They are  Freeshippers... Commander Miller  sent  us   the  COM from the ship..Angel captain, at least...that means EDT?..unless there is some other damn  faction out there, that has  taken to use Freeshippers.

 Hack  shrugged  as Miller COMed,8 minutes..7:59....58.... until sloops reaches    near the   Bridge  for   dropping  a shuttle onto the VIP pad.

 Right?.... The Freeshipper  SEC? they can surrender, or they can die, Maris..has  to live for a bit...  again, very one looked at Shadow,WHAT!

 They turned to  Roy to see who he  wants  where.

Roy nodded.  "Larry, you go with the Captain.  Sit in the bathroom, out of sight, until she calls you.  Once you move in, you do whatever you have to do to get rid of anyone Maris has brought in the room with him, and then take him out of the action and keep him pacified."  He turned to look at the others.

"Shoemaker, I want you and Jax at the elevator doors...send the troopers on duty down here, they can keep Shadow company until things come into play.  Maria, get Lyri and play escort to the Admiral.  After how things went last time he was here, I'm thinking I should probably be out of clear sight.  Will, you and I will be at the Bridge doors...Maris doesn't know about our Security protocols, so if he makes a fuss about guards on the elevator and the halls, it'll be up to the Captain to explain it...but the fact that we've had assassination attempts on crew members in the past is a pretty solid explanation."

He keyed his comm.  "Sgt. Wolfrim, please report to Captain Si's quarters IMMEDIATELY, with arms."  He let the comm go quiet.  "Shadow, you take Zob and Garrat and wait in the Admiral's quarters.  That gives us nine people on three sides of the action, plus the Admiral, Captain, Larry, Lyri, and Maria.  Unless Maris has somehow managed to recruit some crack special forces unit, and they outnumber us four or five to one, we can handle anyone he's got with him here...do it fast enough, and they can't get a call out for help."

He keyed the comm again.  "Beth, can you put together a dozen or so people and have them hit the shuttle on my cue?  We cut off the retreat, we've got the money man here, if these are, truly, free-shippers, they'll surrender at that point, because there's no money to be made and no way to escape...if it's not, we'll mobilize on-duty Security and just crush them in a vise.  And can you arrange a video feed to my comm unit?  I want to see just how many people Maris is bringing up with him before the ball really starts rolling.  Even if you can't get video for me, if you can give me a headcount, it'll help."

 Inside the Admiral's  quarters  were some pics  of  Him  with various fighters  he flew... one next to a Demon  crashed   aircraft As he had up the scatter  Helmet of the Pilot

There was a picture  of     Lt   Hack, Lt Si  and  two scruffy teenagers  with teh   Keel of the Hermes in the back  round....

 other then that  room wa s massive..at least 3 timnes  Shadow's  quarters, the living area  had     couches  and chirs , a big Vid screen.. there was a Pic of  the two in  dress uniforms   walkign under  Upraised  swords , comign out of , what might be a church... a Younger  Hennings  and BAle  were   the first two sword holders.

 the Buzzer   buzzed.. The Admiral  pointed  to shoey and  said.".5  seconds..."

 everyone   scattered  HAck rounded the  corner to the war room area.. to wait until he  heard   Shey greet the incoming...

 the  beeps  game as   Shoey opened  the   doors  above...

  Garrat was wherever he ended up as per the plan.

     Garrat  enters    the Admirals  Quarters  with Zob, Shade , Shadow  and  the two  regular troopers... Jug is  pulled in by  Shadow...

   we wait... suppsoed to   be 6 SEC  troopers in front.. and 6  SEC  tropers  in back of Maris.. when the  word comes..  we    surge out  into the passage way.. and see who needs killed.

Jug said simply, understanding the situation.  Least the was dressed for it.  "Others on wrecked Dec.  they behave." she looked up to see if there was a panel or place to hide above the 6 expected.  She pointed "There good?  I drop stay low, cut back of leg deep.  they not run then.... might scream loud." she suggested.

   Only if you can stay completely out of sight until you do what you can do.  And remember, the guards are likely inocent.  They are just working for the wrong person so we will see if we can let them live." If Jug is confident about her ability Garrat boosts her up easily.

"Best take fight out of them.   I ddrop cut tendon...they no wanna fight, Doc Henry fix 'em" of course she really meant for the medical staff to take care of them.  She pointed up and quickly removed the panel to get up into it and turn around into position, her sharp blade at the ready.  Her long nails allowed the vent to be held precariously but safely.  she could drop it on one then flip out and land among the group.  Looking at Garrat "This good?" wondering if one looked real close to see the screws were not really holding it up, or see her fingers sticking out.

  Shadow  watches   Jug go up into the Vents...you guys know... we're attacking them in the  Passage way...right?..If  any of them make  it in here.. things  are bad..

Shoe  Announces..  ..OFFICER  ON DEC!    the   six  forward  Freeshipper  SEC move  forward   with Maris   behind  them , two  of the  SEC  Push Jax  and  Shoey  up against thier  respective  walls  , while  two follow  MAris  and  two 'man the elevator..

 Hack Looks  at the other s and Nods  His eha d ,   As he comes rounding the Corner,..who the 9 hells is  coming down the VIP...  Hack stops , Maria  and Lyri Bring up thier SMGs... the  6   front  SEC  bring up theirs..

Zob shook his head as he glanced at Jug and them messing around with the vents he then stayed quiet until given the signal to attack, from the sound of things outside these guys were very well armed.

He had a surprise waiting for them with his demon heavy pulse gun even the toughest of armor wouldn't hold up against anti infantry heavy pulse weapons like his especially demon ones that burned at a hotter frequency... he had a single goal in his mind and that was to kill every last hostile SEC in that hallway.

As Roy led Will down the hall, he explained, "It would look odd if we were all right there at the Captain's door.  Besides, I'm betting that Maris isn't observant enough to pay any attention to anyone down the hall..."

They hit their positions, standing ready as the alert went up that Maris was on board.  He shifted his weight slightly...looking like he was about to head down the hall when Maris' escort confronted Shoemaker...but he didn't move, as Admiral Hack came around the corner...and Maris started spilling his guts, gloating.

Casually keying his comm, he muttered, "Hope you got all that, Beth.  Pass word, Maris brought Verians...not the friendly ones."

He turned to face Will, using the motion to put his body between the Verians and his rifle. They had some form of ablative coating on their armor...that would require multiple hits, so he quietly clicked the fure-select to burst.  Had he known, he would have commandeered another elevator, and set up with the Barrett and some of the Raufoss rounds...they punched through a shuttle's metaglass, back on Olympus, he was sure they could take the Verian body armor...

But, he hadn't known.  So they'd have to do it the hard way.  He waited for Maris to step into the Captain's quarters...

 Will stepped Up  one of the verians   shifted   his  weapon slightly   to aim at Will's  head.

  Shadow said, ever  so softly into the   Private COM lines  Beth  opened  for the 'team' members  who were    in on this. his eyes looked at those with him  as he spoke into he COMs,..this is goign to  be close  quarters .. Verians  aren't china  dolls..aim for  heads, or take  out thier  legs..if you have  hard   ammo..heads  or   chest... When  do we go?

 Hennings  came in , very calmly as he and Bale  watched the    SEC CAMs,..Nil  said she  would  let us know? she didn't say how...

 Lyri and Maria  looked at the   Troopers  arrayed in  front off them.. the two 'regular'  Guards were behind them  with pusle rifles..  Lyri and MAria  had  Hard ammo..

  the Verian  up  front..the  LT.. said  softly,...it is wise.. that you are not  causing problems. The Hermes  will have more then enough to deal with, when they reach Undenese  Space.....

The savage  growl was  all he allowed   as    a 6 footlong, 300( 400?)   pound    Green-grey Missile   Slammed into Maris  as she screamed in terror....then Screamed in pain as the  offending   hand  was  bitten off... There  was   Larry's loud and ..somewhat Blood   Chilling    Howl ...

 Outside, the Verians  all turned away    to  move towards  Si's  door...

 Shoey simple  said.....now!...

 Jax   pulled  two  poppers  from the shotgun shell belts on his shoulders where his hand s rested,  then triggered them into the   Visor  of the   Verian that  hand him pinned to the wall.. The Verian Let out  a  surprise scream..  Shoey's   right  hand     drove  his   Bowie  Knife into the  Flex-mesh  of the  verian who held  Him...waist .  The  Verian   shouted in pain and Surprise, slamming Shoey   across the hall into the wall, were the SEC  trooper dropped like a sack of grain..Jax grabbed    the verian's  Pusle  rifle  and Opened Up  full Auto, on the two  troopers  at the elevator  door..  close  range , full auto.. the Other   Eight   were either trying to open   Si's  door,  or see what the 9 hells was going on at the  lift.

 Shadow  gritted his teeth   as he  held his   Sanri Blaster up...Roy?

Zob remained patient as he set his sights on the door with the demon heavy pulse MG he had it set to full auto ready to fire on the hostile SEC troopers the second the door opened, 'lets see how you like this...' he mentally chuckled with a smirk on his face as he waited even with that coating they couldn't withstand every shot.

BIC: Having been watching and waiting, Jug could see what was going on through the vent in the ceiling.  At last time came.  A bang with her foot sent the vent cover falling down and at an angle.  It headed straight for one of the guards Maris brought with him.  In fluid movement Jug landed in the middle of the hall.  Staying in a low crouch she made sure her blades found critical points in the enemy armor, crippling them nearly immediately and painfully.

"Showtime,"Roy growled into his comm as he brought his rifle up.  The first burst his the face-plate and visor of the Verian who'd aimed his weapon at Will.  He paused just long enough to make sure Will's head hadn't been splattered down the hall before he was hunting for his next target.

The Admiral's door   hissed  open  as    Shadow   and the others   charged out.

 Jug dropped   down Between the pack of verians  and the  4   at the elevator. she could Attack the rear Most Verian , who is was facing the   Admiral and Company.. or  the One  Jax  is currently fighting with.

Shoey is on the ground, Motionless.

 Two Verians who were  shot in the back and  , the back of thier thighs   by Jax  who  had to  fire the Verian   weapon as it  was  still  hanging on the blinded   Verian's  shoudler.. That Verian now   is   trying to beat on   Jam  who is   wiggling  under  its bulk,  while he  tries  to discharge another   into the helmet or chest.

 Shadow 's  Sanri Blaster  Its  the closest to    the admiral's door..verian.  The   shot is washed out, but the verian  staggers  abck a step and the armor is smoking at the   'impact' area...Shade  Charges , Spamming into that Verian  at the  Knees  with his  best 'form tackle'. slamming the    shoulders  of the   verian to  the wall   and then  beating on the  helmet with savage  fury

 Zob  Opens  up on the next Verian over.. round  after  round  after  round, of Demon heavy Pulse stagger, then make the Verian  jerk like a broken Puppet  before it  falls Garrat has  an Opening Between Zob's  target  and the one , Shade and Shadow have  attacked .

Lyri and Maria   both step  in front of  the Admiral, Lyri   , to the point of  pushing the Admiral back with a shoudler   ..the two  women open Up  on the  Verian behind the one Zob hit.. Bursts of  SMG  hard ammo tear into the armor and the Verian Under it.

 Roy's   weapon cause Will to Only Flinch a tiny  bit As the    Surprised  Verian's Head   snaps   ack  and it  falls,, Will firing into the body 'just to make sure.

 The verian  who was  about to open  Si's  door  turned his weapon  on Will and   fired, Will  Flew  backwards  from the  PUlse weapon's  Bursts. , his reward  was to see Roy  looking at him.

 the  two Regular  Guards  with   standard  Pusle  rifles  moved to  cover  each side   of the Admiral as  well,  as the Poor  Officer  tried to bring his sidearm into play, but his   .over protective' troops   pushed him back

Roy had been looking for a new target, anyway...the Verian that shot Will made the mistake of drawing his attention.  Smoothly and precisely, Roy's sights settled on the Verian, and his weapon gave a muffled bark as another burst hurtled through the space in the hall, almost instantly slamming into that Verian's head.

Zob moves up and lets the heavy demon pulse MG rain a hell-storm of full auto pulse rounds at the wounded Verian next to Jug he aimed to have the rounds hit the upper body and head to prevent friendly fire, "Cnbb hrla mbb, blmwl je-ejl ihmjdnjv!" he shouted his battle cry in demonic.

(Kill them all, leave no-one standing!)

    Garrat had NOT found a uniform his size so  had gone to hide with chest, shoulder, and leg armor on.  The hall was crowded, shooting was a liability, but he had a target rich environment and barreled into the unoccupied group of guards with a cyborg fist and another wrapped tightly with medical tape and gripping an Asgard round tightly giving it twice the impact.

    If these asshats were Lilith supported, he wanted the message getting back to her what he could have done if he had chosen not to curb his actions when he confronted her.

    Being tall he had a good shot at the higher Verian heads...  and he didn't hold back as his powerful fists slammed into them.  If they struck back, at least he was distracting them from the others and a shrug of his leading shoulder would deflect off his armor.

Jug moved quickly among the now trapped Verians using her small stature (and the fact she was crouched) to slash and stab at armor joints and using her body to trip them as well.  Putting them off balance.  She moved to the young Hermes Guard who blinded one Verian and stabbed that Verian deep in the leg at the ankle and knee joints.  She made sure each one of the attackers was going to feel her blades anger and hunger.  "Bleed Verian garbage"

  Roy... opens  up on the guard who shot  Will.. The   the verian  slammed into   the Captain's  door  and slide  down...

 Garrat...  hit   one of the  3. 'free' guards   Pummeling    the  Verian  whose  armor  seemed to  Defect a lot of the Blows, However, they did  prevent the trooper  from suing his    rifle  as  it   drew   it s   wicked  looking , he tried   three time s to stab  Garrat..only the  tried   stand  went home,   as  the verian  back dup with each blow taken.


 Jug.. Slashed    a Guard  in front of her, dark blood  came from the metal   its leg Buckeled  a moment.  then she  turned to the  Blinded    Verian.. stabbing  the blinded Verian  it  a  few   Times, Jax  Last   popper  went  off  under the troopers   chin..   Black fluid  leaked  out  and the Body  fell on  Jax...    Jax   threw his  arms up in frustration.

 The    Verian  with the Bowie  knife in him,  was  trying to   head to the elevator

Zob's..weapon   opened  up into the  Verian  , who Jug  had    cut.., that verian Dropped  as  well.


Shade, had the  Verian on the   ground.. the   trooper's  Helmet was  battered in ward .. the Dec acting  like the anvil for   Shades 'hammer  ' fists... Block fluid  was leaking   fron   the mess  under it s   throat.. his  arms were  jerking..

 One  Healthy  Verian stood there lookign at the   creatures that  came out of  nowhere to attack.., Shade  stood next to  Shade, who was   working over one on the Ground, Garrat  was  still whacking away   as the  knife  wielding  trooper..

 pull your trigger...please... he had   his  Shari raised...

 Lyri and Maria  stepped up  By roy.

..If  i do?  you will die...

  Si Opened  the  door, she stood ther ewith a Bloody Nose.. Maris  was whimpering Larry's   tail  was on his  leg.. his  fron paws on the the only had, the man had left.

Zob turned and pulled the DT5 from its holster and fired off a few carefully placed rounds of the .308 hard ammo into the back of the wounded Verian with a bowie knife in him trying to escape towards the elevator.

Roy moved forward, the muzzle of his rifle pointed at the last standing  Verian.   "You've got about halfa second to surrender before I splash your brains all over the inside of that bucket on your head,"he growled ominously.  The Verian had an excellent view, right down the barrel of the weapon...

      the   doors  to the stern side  of the  evelator Opened..Stefi was there  with another Med Tech and  two guardians...

 She Looked Over the  scene , two   wailing Verians    in-between the  doors of the   forwards  side of the  doors...  Jax  Under  a  big armored  Body... Shoey laying  against the wall.. Jug standing there   with  bloody  knive.. as   a Verian with a Blade in its  side  dropped forward   with a pair of holes  in its back.

 Garrat was Pounding  on as Verian, that was stabbing back..though fruitlessly.

  One Verian  dropped it s rifle.

 Shade   had  just stop pounding  the   head of a verian, whos e legs  and arms  twitched a bit.. Will was  up at the Intersection , Maria  and Lyri were looking at  him as   a Bloodied  nose  Captain came out the door  with a .45 hard  ammo  sidearm..

 From inside the  room, Larry  was    burbling away.. while MAris   screamed , now and then

 Shade  Looked  at the Verian who surrendered, and  bleeped ..

 Shadow  laughed,he said the Verians are  broken....

 Hack approached   Si  and   touched he r cheek,   he looked  at  Maris, she shrugged and Looked at LArry.

As the fight looked to be winding down Jug began to put one blade away and began to yank a gory Verian off of Jax.

Roy kept his rifle on the surrendered Verian.  "'Broken' implies that they were ever improper operating order," he responded.  Eyes cold as comets, he focused.on the Verian.

"I believe you people were making noises about the trouble the Delta Fleet would find when they got to Uden.  You care to clarify that for me?  Or should I let Uden's ambassador beat more of you into biomechanical pulp?"

Zob put the DT5 back in its holster and smirked as the Verian surrendered to Roy they were about to have a very bad day.

Then he noticed the other Verian trying to stab Garrat to little effect he walked up behind him while distracted and like a cobra he shot his arm around the Verians neck and proceeded to strangle him with all of his might if he died or blacked out was of little consequence at this point.

  The BAttered  verian     goe s Limp, Garrat   watches it  fall.  Zob   sees  Jug trying tio get  the    Verin off of Jax..

 Stefi is working  Shoey,  the other  Med tech is hustling to  Will.

 The    healthy  Verian  said ..you do not  Know?....  Vera has    Joined the Empire... they are gathering Forces  to  help augment the loss  of   Verians  who have left  for Unden....  They are also   trying to  seize Calmite.. because  of resources, and the   chance to add thier people to vera's   Army

 Shade bleeped  and whirled,..shut  up, scrap pile...

 Answer Him..... why does Vera  need other  races   to fight, when they are  so .... he looked  over at the scattered  bodies,..superior ..

 hack looked at the Puddle  of  Blood   from    Maris's .. Larry thumped  his tail on Maris's legs.

Zob huffed when the Verians body went limp and tossed him to the dec, he took the blade from his hands and stashed it on his person, "Good riddance..." he then slowly walks on over to where Jug and Jax were and helps lift the body off of Jax with little to no effort tossing the body aside like a rag doll he then offered his hand to Jax to help him up, "You alright?"

"They send others to die for them" Jug responded to the question of why Verians are looking for others to fight for their cause.  "They start battle send in ones they call 'Allies' to fight first.  They watch and learn, other troops die.  Enough 'Allies' die they attack Allies.  Other side looses lots they then come in and tak over." to Jug it was straight forward from that.  Many races did it, specially to Gava.  As she said this she searched the verians and their armor.  Ripping a good helm off one she wanted to try on.

Roy shrugged.  " Can't say it's much of a surprise...Adem might have a metallic spine, but he's a gutless wonder.  And he's dumb as dogshit when it comes to understanding the Demons.  He's spent how many centuries watching them subjugate and exploit every race they align with...and then he thinks they're somehow going to treat Vera better?"

He shook his head, and glanced down at Maris.  "That's even more stupid than thinking a sloop full of Verians could swagger into the heart of the Delta Fleet and get away with...well, anything, really...but we already knew Maris was basically dead from the neck up..."

   Jack Looked up at   Hack. tears  of  pain and embarrassment  wher eon his  cheeks...You?  used your own wife...as  bait?

 Hack Looked at  Si  who simply slipped an arm   around his, blood    still Dripping from he r Broken Nose...I was against it at first... I did  not think you would be foolish enough to  come out here...Oliver is a good  judge , of poor characters... he  thought  you would be  more  eager to steal me away, then  you would  be  to think...

 Jug put the Helmet on, it  fit reasonably  well, she felt the   metal mesh over her neck and  some of her  shoulders.., though it was messes.. it was  backed, and  could help seal the inside from the outside.

 The  dead  Verian that once owned that helmet, lay there  dead.. hits    eyes a clear  grey..Block liquid  seeping  from it  nose and mouth.. the  chin , and  through shredded by   'poppers'... Jug figure she would have to get the neck mess  fixed.

  Jax  shrugged,..my face hurts a bit  . he might have  broke a cheek bone, it happened to me in the stem once..feels the  same.. Another Stemmer hit  me  with a pipe.

  Shoey was up.. his eyes   were  waving  about."... this one is ok? More or less.. he  had a Bad concussion... gonna  spend a day , at least.. In Med tech. The Guardian  nodded and set up a Hover  cart  that he had on his back. they lifted  Shoey and Put him on..

 Stefi had Moved to  will,, while another med Tech checked on Jug and  Garrat.. Stefi  sayswell...  Will   has at least  4  broken Ribs... and he's going to need new  armor, that chest  plate won't hold a hotdog and scoop of beans..,, he might have a head injury , since  he's out..  we;ll scan him in Med tech...

 The second   Med tech unlimbers the 'field' hover  cart  and they get  Will on the cart.

 Stefi  stopped and Looked into the  room..  Larry    cringed  a bit  when  Stefi looked in...what about Him?

 Seal the wound  so he doesn't bleed out... the next   hour or so, will  determine the lenght of his life....

 Jax  smiled, then winced as he did.yeah?  i figure    they wouldn't  know, Poppers come in handy.. they are a Stemmers best friend! Even kids like   Roll and Lifter   would have a couple on them, incase of Stem rats, or gangers....

 Lets go people.. Get MAris  and this Verian  down to SEC..... The Bodies that  Doc Henry doesn't want.. throw out of the ship after taking anything  of use...

Roy shrugged.  He was unlikely to ever use it...but one of the Angelsteel pulse rifles would be a good addition to his arsenal...especially if he had some occasion similar to what they'd done on Fuji, where he needed a target taken down with a weapon that couldn't be traced as ESN-issued.  He shouldered a rifle, keeping his own in hand in the event the Verian got past Zob, and gave Larry a good, solid rub on one shoulder.

"Good work, Larry.  Thanks for not making a liar out of me."  He gave the larg a fond smile, knowing full well that Larry could have probably taken half of Maris' torso in a single bite more easily than the precision he showed by just taking a hand.  He followed the parade of people heading for Security, pausing to address the troopers who'd been on duty.

"Good job.  Each of you take a rifle, if you want to upgrade...we've never dealt with Verians as combat opposition, so it's hard to be completely certain they're all dead, and not just in some kind of dormant cycle.  You see anyone start moving, shoot then in the head.  The ones whose helmets are still intact, go ahead and remove...I'm pretty sure the ones whose heads are squashed or punctured are beyond 'dormant'."

Garrat snorts, “I should have shot Adem’s bitch when I had the chance, then Shadow could have let Adems anger commit him to something stupid and taken him out leaving the way for Lilith to seize control of Veria”

Jug took the damaged helmet off and gave Jax a tooth grin "You got him good" she handed him the helmet.  out of the dead Verians in the hall she managed to get not only the knife but 3 good helmets.  She looked to see if any other part of the armor could be useful as well, if so she would snag it and the Gava could make it useful for them.

  Jax  Smiled  as he  took the Bloodied  head  gear,..Thanks?.. But..I was the one on the Bottom..Shoey  gave  me  the idea  who to  Blind  him.

 Captain Si  smiles I pick them out   on a site, and they  are delivered to   transports. My purchases  arrive when supplies   come in.. about three times  a month or  so.. Sadly..they are  all very Nice, But Most of  tghem, I have never  worn?... it will do now one, anygood, if  something happens to me, for the dresses   just to hang there?

 Two , rather frail..looking angel men where there.. they had some rolls of  angle silk and boxes of  tools.

 This fellows  are  from  the Captail of the Blue Moon... they are master  artificers , in the use of Angel silk, they will be making   some   smaller versions of our gowns  for the  younger LAdies  who will be going to the Ball...They may also, adjust to  maybe  add or take away straps  and such you may not like?

We might  look very good... well.. You ladies  will..

She managed to of course walk in right as Stefi made her comment, and turned an incredible shade of scarlet.

She will look at the dresses and find a gorgeous purple one that is backless comes and ties around the neck, she wonders if it is long enough to cover everything though and hide her weapons.

 alot of the Ladies  were LAughing  as they worked on the Steps..Sneak  looked like an instructor  as she  showed  , when at ..a  certain part.. to move hips one way  or the other. Vesper  , Wanda  and MAry Pike. of the   Black Dots  Came in.. Pike was a bit Sullen as  she   'reported' to CAptain Si.... The Captain, however , never  Missed  a  beat as she talked  while   getting the steps down.. He-La...No-Ca and AZ-el looked very good   doing in , in thier  Angel , fluid  motion.

  Relax  Ensign Pike. This  is your first chance to prove yourself to the others of the ship. Can you  step up and make the Hermes Women stand out?

  Veser  and  Wanda  just left  Pike to her  own devices, it seemed they were more then willing to   join the crowd.


 Mary     Nodded and took a few steps away  as she eyed the  dresses and watched the  women, some who were treating the Captain's   quarters  like a locker   room as they stood there with out clothing, trying on   dresses.  She snorted at Sneak.. but her  eyes  grew  wide  as she helped herself to a Juice.

 The  Two Angel Men did not seem bother by the various  states of  Undress.., to be fair? they may have  taken and extra glance now and them, but they did not seem over   preoccupied  by it... The   Taller one    waved to the    Racks with the darker colors...

 well?  Madame?  the  dark  colors  might exude  some Military ?..But is  not the  purpose of this  Ball is to  celebrate the Female side of our  warriors...

 Meari noticed that most of the ladies where dancing, and Meari was intrigued by this dancing, they where moving a lot their curves looking really nice. Meari wasn't into women but she did appreciate the female body as a work of art. Just hers was chiseled and a little less feminine than the others.

 With getting no response on the dress in her hand, she hung it up and then took off her weapons and duty uniform. Standing in just her sports bra and granny panties she says," Umm I might need a different bra for this or maybe just go braless. Meari took off her sports bra not caring about showing herself she did this all the time in the barracks with others. She then slipped the dress on and looked in the mirror, the dress seemed to contort to Meari when she got it on and Meari thought it looked great, but she had no clue about all of this fashion stuff. The dress went down to right above her knee with plenty of room to hide her weapons under it.

 She then twirled and looked at herself, and said to the ladies, " How does this look will it show I am a Hermes Lady?"

  Most of the Ldies were  either   practicing the   dance , more picking pout Dresses.

 After the   3rd play through of the Song, Fans  Felt  she had the  Idea  and  went to he r  Make Up stationh. She already  had a Lt purple  slrapless , that was about  4 Inches   about the Knee.. off tom the side for herself.

   As   Frans  waited  for any on  who wanted  make up, she said to Meari,.. the main thing?  does it make you feel good.... the better you feel.. the better  you will look.

 Gia   gave  Sneak a Hug as she laughed  and  went to the other  side of the room, where her makeup station was.

 Meari nodded to Frans and she said," It actually feels great, it almost makes me feel what you humans say sexy." Meari actually smiled and walked towards Frans, and she says" I am Sgt Meari SEC, thank you you do makeup I have never used it, will it work on my skin?"

   Frans  smiles...I am LT  Frans.... Carole... Yes?  that is what the dresses  are supposed to do..make us look and feel that way.. I mean? we can wear Uniforms  anytime...

 ..the Makeup will work  on your eyes, But the  'skin shift' colors, its  harder  to  blend in the shades   for  other make up?... howbere.. Shadow's Daughter,  said  that each   Udenese  has a certain flow , to thier  skin color.. and if you blend in a  foundations or  cover?.. it will enhance that flow?... I'm used to blending stuff.. so?... I think i can do it...if I cannot , we can Call Gia over, she's a Master  are MAke up, as well.

 Meari keeps smiling and responds,a little less coldly," Nice to meet you Lt.Frans." Meari goes to salute but technically she wasn't in uniform, she looks embarrassed and then adds," Yes I suppose it does but I have never worn a dress before, my normal attire is combat armor."

 When Frans finishes she responds," That is very good to know, even though my eyes change color? Oh Yes Captain Dusk my Cousin, War Lord Lilit is my Grandmod. Oh yes you watch it close enough you can see my flow, I have watched it for hours on watch." Meari chuckles and then says," Well of course do your best and thank you Lt. for your assistance." Through the conversation Meari's voice got warmer and warmer as she talked, feeling comfortable with Lt. Frans.

Despite the number of times she'd got dressed up, Harry was still a little anxious when it came to dealing with women's fashion. Taking a deep breath Harry would enter the Captain's quarters and stop dead in her tracks as she was greeted by the sight of the rather provocative dance being performed by a group of women dressed only in their robes "ok, you've got to warn a girl that you're going to be dancing like that...your causing me to have really... inappropriate... thoughts about the lot of you" Harry said with a slightly embarrassed smile before hurrying over to one of the racks, knowing that if she watched Captain Si dancing like that for much longer then she would need to take a very cold shower.

It was as she started to leaf her way through the dresses in front of her that she would quietly hope that her friends would arrive soon, as she had only the vaguest of idea's as to what she was looking for and as for makeup she didn't stand a chance in hell!

  The  Ladies  are laughing,  drinking some  of the   'non-hard' drinks the CAptain provided  along  with tea  and Coffee...

 there are two female  Mess staff there to help, refill  drinks and keep the hot n drink pots   full.

 Gia  has a olde gold  gown hanging  near her  as she  works  on Lona Lake's  Make Up...Harry?.. Yo are supposed to be  the Veteran..Si?... picking out   a dress that  will make you..as they say..the Hot Chicken..should be  so very easy!

 some of the Ladies   laugh at the Italian's   mis use  for   words.

 Val came  in she was   talking  with Captain Si..Umbra  came in as  well, their darker  skin adding to  the color   of  the ladies in the room

 Lizzy smiled at the guards as her and Izzy walked into Captain Si's Quarters.  Lizzy was holding Izzy's hand still as they walked in. Lizzy looked around,  some ladies where still dancing she saw a tall well built Udenese with purple hair getting her makeup done, she,saw Sam with her,CO. Then she saw Harry looking at the dresses.

 Lizzy led Izzy to the dresses and said, Okay first find your style and color and go from there okay my love. Lizzy then smiled at Harry, gave her,a big hug and said,Hi Harry are we doing better today? So what are you going to wear?

 Lizzy smiles at starts to look for the most revealing, sexy, scandalous dress she can find, she will say to both Izzy and Harry, Okay ladies I need to find the most revealing, sexy and scandalous dress any of us can find okay,  hopefully in a red or purpleish color? Lizzy was having a great time looking at the dresses as her robe opened up showing her very see through lingerie set.

 Wanda and vesper    found dresses, Wanda  had  Dark green..Vesper  a Lt Cream  than made her  olive skin stands out a bit more.

 Pike   was looking at the dresses, she seemed  a bit 'pouty'. The Captain approached her...you having Problems , Ensign?

 Pike looked around  at the women, some still trying to get the dance moves  down. I'm Sorry , Captain?... But isn't this a bit  silly?

 Captain Si  appeared  calm, but a slight  narrowing of her   eyes  betrayed that, as she said...You may njot understand, sicne you spent your service  time on Fuji   and in the Brig...But everyone of the LAdies here  Has   fought, or supported, or both, in the fights   we have  struggled through.. Even you, and your friends?  this  could be your last 'party'...

 She ( rather forcibly )  turned    Pike to see they Ladies   as they Laughed  and Sneak giggled    showing them a Move  and  they practiced it again. Very few of the ships, do what we do here...and those who do..might not  quite reach the level that we do...but in the  end, we are  Hermes  and  this  brings us together, as much as  any fight...

 ..do not let  Lag hold you back from  being an ESN officer and Pilot..do not  let him stop you  from being a Hermite! Enjoy yourself... and do not worry about Lag. There are plenty of   Men on this ship, who have honor  and  backbone...I believe it is time for you to 'trade up'.. now?..pick out our dress that will make you feel like a pampered  women... once the party starts, you will see..there are many  men who will be eager to dance with you...put aside   your  entry  to the Hermes..and build   on your new life  here...

Nikki and Haley arrived finally.  Haley was scrubbed clean and he hair combed.  Nikki had it up in twisted knots.  Nikkis own hair was now in wavy ringlets.  "Good morning.   The Unicorn Warrior Princess is here, as am I." she smiled at the ladies.

   The Captain Greeted   Haley and  NikKi Those  to  Angel Gentlemen will be  fitting Orria  and   Haley with   gowns or  dresses?... Do not be.....concerned..that they are MAle...They tend to be more interested in thier Craft... she winks at Nikki

   Unbra  Picked a Pale  Yellow, and Val  Picked a  wine dark purple.,both  seemed to please the two gentalment who    adjusted  the  dresses.. removing   Val's  straps, and  adding  'crossed straps' to the plunging back.

 Abby  was looking at lengths , trying to figure out  how short she could  make it, and get away  with it.

 Frans  watched   Meari's  skin  for a few moments,  we  see Shade  all the Time... and get to  see  some of Dusk and Lilit... don't see to many other  Undenese , so?..it seems like you have a  darker Hue that  shows up  very  few minutes  while the light and  mid  range   shades, seems  Constant?.. we  can either  blend a mix  that will accent the lighter  tones, causing the DArker  tone to stand out  more... or  , we  can lay out a darker    base, that will 'soften' the  darker  tone  and  high light  the   lighter tones?...  Other then that?..I  do not  know  how to  apply  a base  that would fit the shifting colors....  we can high light, or darken your  eyes, depending  on what look you are going for?

 either way?... we can make  you  stand out a bit more to most   guys out tehre.... Now  Guys  like  the SM and the LC?...They are sorta lost causes... I mean?  I catch them lookign at someone once in a while, but  try to hook them?.. you'd have to  have  the goddesses  of luck on your side....but..'ordinary  human males?..  we can make them dance like puppets...  she winks.

As Gia said that as a veteran of several balls that Harry should have no problems finding a dress that would make her look the "Hot Chicken" She would turn and smile at her friend "I know, but I'm still very new at this...I'm more of a torn jeans kind of girl, so I'm kind of worried that I'll pick the wrong thing and wind up looking like a right twerp...also Gia babe I think the word you are looking for is chick" she said offering her friend a friendly smile before returning her attention to the dresses in front of "while I think about it Gia babe, can I get you to do my makeup again? assuming of course that I ever manage to find something to wear" she said, pausing to look at scarlet dress before putting it back where she'd found it.

It would be long after her little chat with Gia that the rest of her friends would arrive; First Lizzy, leading a very nervous looking Izzy by the hand to come and join her followed by Nikki and a Unicorn Warrior Princess "Hi Haley love" Harry said with a cheerful smile as she returned the young girl's wave before turning to speak to Lizzy "I'm doing a lot better thank you...I mean, none of my issues have gone away I'm just managing to keep them under wraps for the time being, as for what I wearing...um...a dress?" she replied with a bit of a shrug before laughing in response to Lizzy's request "so something to go with the scandalously sexy and revealing lingerie you've got on?" she said not even attempting to hide the fact that she'd noticed Lizzy's robe had fallen open and had had a good look at what she was wearing "don't worry Izzy love, I've no intention of taking this randy little minx away from you...though out of interest how are you getting on now you're out of the closet?" she asked, recalling that Lizzy had mentioned that the poor girl had been struggling.

  Gia  nodded,Is not a chick..a Chicken?...  she  shrugs,..either My table  or Frans..we are here to help melt men's hearts ..well..those   that  have hearts! she  grinned and went  back  to her  table  as  KR-EN  the new  young angel settled in to  have some male up done, and  flipped her  hair around like she had  no idea  what to do with it.

 KR-EN's   dress  was light blue shot with silver.. Gia  laughed,..ytou are an Angtel.. are  you not?... Just smile  and shift your  eyes,  the  men will not even know you have hair!!!..But.. we shall see, Si?

    Gia  began the workigns  of  a hair  stay;e that would rise  up   with a bit of  a tousle on top.  and  secure it  with  some light   spray and pins.

 Meari smiled at Frans and said," Well can we highlight the lighter tones and downplay the darker tones I think i would like that Carrol, is it okay if I call you Carrol Lt.? As far as my eyes I am not sure I understand what you mean by the look I am going for. I think highlighting my eyes and maybe matching my hair and dress. Oh I couldn't hook up with a normal human male Carrol I might kill him, most human males are fragile compared to my Udenese body. I also have a rule I will sleep with no man who can not defeat me in a fair training battle, and so far none have been able too." She tries to smile and laugh but it looks awkward on her, at least for now.

 Meari then adds," Oh I can make normal men dance like a puppet just by staring at them I think Carrol, also thank you for everything I must seem like a fool not understanding all of this, thank you so much for making me feel like umm one of the girls. Oh and do they have shoes with no heels I don't think i need to be any taller I already tower over most people on the Hermes, I am the shortest one of my 3 siblings, but they are all males."

  Well?  Meari?  the   eyes, we  can  use lighter   shades to make the   eyes   stand out.. your  shifting colors  for them will make it   even  better?.. the shik  tomes are odd. becvause of the  way they flow...  we can make up to let some stand out and soften others.. yu have to let me know which.

Holding on tightly to Lizzy's hand she Izzy would timidly enter the Captain's quarters, her eyes going wide as she saw the racks of Angel Silk dresses that practically filled the room.

With Lizzy spotting her friend; Harry they would move over to join her, with Izzy watching as the pair of them hugged before going on to frown as the blonde openly checked her girlfriend out when her robe fell open. It was then that she would ask how she was getting on, catching Izzy a little by surprise. She would hesitate for a moment as she thought how best to answer the question before quietly replying "I'm...I'm pretty good actually...I finally feel like...me...I mean me me, not the me that everyone else wanted me to be...I'm not making any sense am I?" she said fully realising that for someone who made a living out of talking that what she'd said was pretty incoherent "um...have you tried that bluey-grey dress? I think that would go really nicely with you eyes" she then said to Harry, pointing to a dress just to Harry's right. She'd yet to find anything scandalously revealing for Lizzy though somehow she suspected that Lizzy would have no problems finding something that would fit her criteria meaning that all Izzy had to do was see if she could find something in little girl sizes.

 Lizzy saw Nikki and Haley come in right after she and Izzy did. Izzy looked nervous but Lizzy hoped she would relax and have fun, Lizzy saw Sam and maybe she could brighten up Izzy's day, plus they where the same size as well. Lizzy responded to Haley as she bent over and gave her a hug," Hi Unicorn Warrior Princess, you are going to dress up with us, that is awesome, I see you still have my Mom's ring Haley good job." Lizzy's eyes lit up when she saw Haley, she loved kids and everyone could tell it was genuine, definitely the kids could tell.

 Izzy and Harry talked and she didn't listen because that was personnel, Izzy would tell her later and Lizzy was surprised when she took her hand in public, so much for them not telling everyone, Lizzy smiled. When Izzy brought up a bluiey-grey dress, Lizzy stopped picked up the dress and held it against Harry and said," Damn that would look amazing on you Harry, it will make your eyes pop. Great eye Izzy this is the perfect dress for Harry, oh you don't mind showing a good amount of skin do you Harry." She giggles and looks for a dress that she could make heads spin right off their bodies.

 She will notice Izzy looked sad," Izzy are you okay, you look a little depressed, find a dress that screams the sexy you my love." Lizzy would look into her girlfriends eyes and softly say," Izzy I love you the way you are, lets find you a sexy dress shall we." Lizzy starts looking for the perfect dress for Izzy, but if she finds something really scandalous she will take a look at it.

As Izzy tried to explain the fact that she now felt more like the real Izzy, Harry would softly chuckle before replying "Actually that makes a lot of sense to me, it took me awhile to  feel comfortable in my own skin too"she said before turning to look at the dress Izzy had pointed out. Though apparently not quickly enough for Lizzy's liking as her friend swooped upon the dressed and held it up against her, heartily agreeing the Izzy's assessment that it would go nicely with her eyes "Oh I'm not averse to showing a little skin, it is rather lovely isn't it?" she said turning to look in one of the mirrors dotted around the room.

The dress would fall about mid-thigh and had a halter neck that would leave her arms and back completely bare to about her waist. After examining her reflection for several minutes she would decide that there was only one way that she would know for sure whether this was the dress for her "here hold this a minute will you" she said giving the dress to Izzy to hold as she stripped out of her robe and bra, seemingly unworried about being topless in front of the other women, with a saucy wink she would then take the dress from Izzy and put it on, giving the silk a few minutes to adjust to her well toned body before asking "So, how do I look?"

 Meari was actually enjoying this, talking make-up with Frans. She then said with a genuine smile," Yes use lighter shades to make my eyes stand out, I like that, and lets make the darker tones stand out, that will make me stand out from other Udenese, and I like that I am a member of the Hermes now I believe you call them Hermites?" Meari smiles again, and then adds," I am all yours Carrol have fun, I trust you."

 Frans  worked om Meari's  eys, showing how  opnign then widers  would  reveal the lighter  hightlights , thus  outlining her eyes..

  she had her  practice in the Mirror  a  few  time.

  Then she  blended  colors   to set up 'lines' that would  react to the colors  of   Meari's shifts...

  She added  a sweep back of her   hair that fanned out in the  back, making her   neck look a tiny bit more  'delicate'.

  others  waited   as the    chcked  the time and  were   happy to be getting  a free   Angel Silk  dress

  Meari watched and paid close attention, Meari enjoyed the practice and she was very thankful for Carrol's assistance. When she was all done Meari looked at herself and she almost didn't recognize herself. She said ," Thank you very much Carrol, you did an amazing job, now I need shoes I hope there are some non high heeled ones." Meari nodded and then bowed to Frans and then went to look for any shoes that wouldn't make her to much taller.

 Meari saw Harry strip down and put on a dress she looked very nice in, she nodded to Harry, Lizzy, Izzy, Nikki and Haley as she walked by them, she would say in her cold voice," The dress looks very nice on you, I am Meari now Hermes SEC, my Grandmod is War Lord Lilit. I need to find non high heel shoes I dont think i need to be any taller, what do you think Ladies?"

Melia was helping Orria pick out a dress. Orria was having trouble finding something she liked, and was wanting to find something Shade would like.

Melia had put off choosing a dress until Orria found one. Once Haley showed up, Orria split from dress looking to rush over and tell Haley about the dresses she'd seen so far.

To the Angel artificers she nods, "while that may be I prefer more of a military look myself, I find that I tend to not fit into the standard female form, and most dresses don't look so good on me typically."

 The Angel Artificers did  not  seem oblivious  tot eh variosus  forms on Undress  around them. They were , professional .

  To Sarah  they said,..Angel silk is a Bio-material... it  conforms  to   the body heat of the person wearing them.. there  are 'forms' we make the Dresses..lengths..straps  ,cut outs  and the like... But once yo put  it  on, it  comforms to your Body, that is   why many  females  tend to not wear   undergarments, unless they are very sheer.... this eliminates  any 'bumps' that should not be there.

 ..we  have  never  seen a female   unhappy with Angel silk, and perhaps, it is why the cloth is so very..very  expensive.

  Kat and Flroes      werer discussing  a  dress for KAt, Flores  had a Lt Brown  with   cream swirls   on it.

 Kat  was  trying to pick between a soft Orange  or  Lime green.

Sneak was wearing hers. A strapless  Bright Blue that came  down  to an inch  above the knee, but  was   slit up  both  sides to  the thigh...

 Beth,  picked one, maybe for kicks... that was a dark  Pink. with a  'shimmer set' of colors that refracted the light showing red, blue purple  and  green..,  Frans  was  fixing her hair  to  make sure Beth's  colors  were   standing  up with her Black HAir  as the BAck drop.

With a relieved look on her face she would listen as Harry said she understood what she was trying to say before going on to say that it had taken her awhile get used to being who she was. Considering how bold and brash she seemed, Izzy found that kind of hard to believe but all the same she was relieved to find someone other than Lizzy that would talk to her about such things.

With both Harry and Lizzy examining the dress she'd pointed out, agreeing that it was a  good match for the blonde pilot, Izzy would happily agree to hold the dress for Harry before watching with a shocked look on her face as she stripped off in front of her. After casting a helpless look at Lizzy she would try her best not to stare as Lizzy's friend changed into what turned out to be a truly amazing dress "wow, you look gorgeous in that, don't you agree Lizzy?" she said before casting a longing look at the rack of dresses knowing that the likelihood of finding something in her size was a long shot at best.

With Lizzy having seemingly noticed the look on her face, Izzy would smile at the whispered compliments she received "I know...it's just a little embarrassing being this short, I can't reach half of the wall units in my kitchen without standing on tip toes" she quietly replied with the arrival of an exceedingly tall Udenese woman adding insult to injury, grumbling "when you're my height they're kind of essential" in response to her comment about not needing any high heels before removing a nice yellow dress from the rack. It's length would need altering to better suit her tiny frame but she thought it would look pretty good on her when that was done.

  The Ladeis  moved   around, eating , drinking  , telling stories . Captain So watched  the Ladeis , perhaps  with a little pride, perhaps, like a Mom watching kids  open Xmas   gifts.

 Stories  went   around talks  of  Shadow and other Pilots, to some of the SEC  troopers.. Will's Name  was bounced around  few times..Supe's name  ..alot

 Maria  , Ellen and Cor   arrived  with Lippen to  get a dress...it was  not often  Hermes SEC didn't have to watch over a thing like this.

 Lizzy smiled at Harry when she took off her bra and put the dress on, Lizzy looked her over, made a signal for her to turn and then she said, also answering Izzy," Holy shit Harry that dress is fucking perfect for you, it is amazing you will have Will drooling at you in that for sure."

 Then the very tall and very sexy Meari walked over, she had only seen a few Udenese but Meari was amazing, ow that woman could probably rip her in two she thought. Then Izzy said she was embarrassed being so short and Lizzy hugged her and said," Izzy I am only 3 inches taller than you, I am short as well, I love you the way you are, but hey I wear 3" heels most of the time as well. Well it is okay if you have to use your tippy toes i think it makes you look amazing ."

 When Meari talked to them about high heels, Lizzy giggles and  says," Well I think they have some flats on the other side, Meari, welcome to the Hermes, you are War Lord Lilit's Grandmod? That is pretty awesome, that dress looks great on you."

 Then Izzy removed a gorgeous yellow dress from the rack and Lizzy said," Izzy that would look amazing on you, see you found a gorgeous dress for your gorgeous body." Lizzy gave her a kiss on th lips and then dove back in looking for the perfect dress for the ball.

 Sam smiles and at Sarah and says," Well that is very true must keep them on their toes Ma'am, and just for the record you will look amazing in anything you wear Ma'am." When Sarah said good for her for going backless she smiled and said," Thank you Ma'am I have nothing to hide I am ashamed of Ma'am."  Sam nodded to Sarah as she went and talked to the artificers.

 Sam saw Izzy, Lizzy, Harry and a few others together along with the very tall Udenese warrior as well, who looked exceptional in her purple dress. Sam would head for the dresses and Izzy. When she gets there she says," Hello Lizzy nice to see you again, Harry we met once on Bura real quickly, Hi Izzy, Lizzy is correct you will look amazing in that dress, I am looking for a backless dress, I have nothing to hide ladies." Izzy will give her friend a friendly hug and then hug Lizzy and will hug harry if she lets her. Sam will say to Harry, Wow that dress looks amazing on you Harry it really goes with your breathtaking eyes. So Lizzy are you wearing a dress or just going to go naked this time?" Sam giggles and laughs in a friendly way.

Hearing the Udenese woman's overly formal greeting, Harry would flash her friends a mischievous grin before straightening herself up to her full height and replying "I am Harry, World's greatest fighter pilot and all round amazing gal, and my grandmother was a green grocer" she said in a perfectly deadpan voice, curious to see if she would get the joke, suspecting that dry British wit might be beyond her, then again perhaps not.

As Izzy produced a little yellow dress from the rack Harry would smile as Lizzy quietly spoke to the girl before giving her a quick kiss, which made the couple look ever so sweet "Try it on Izzy love, we'll soon tell you if it looks good on you or not" Harry would say moments before a blonde woman, who she vaguely recalled was called Sam, with the same pixie like proportions as Izzy arrived and gave them all a hug "Thank you, you know you're pretty cute yourself" she replied to Sam's compliment about her eyes, offering the girl a lazy smile as she ran her breathtaking eyes over the girl's slender frame.

 Meari tried to smile but she was still learning how to interact with humans. When Izzy said when you where her hieght high heels where essential, Meari nodded and said," Well size is not everything Ma'am what you like in size you make up with in the fire of your soul, I can see it in your eyes, good day Ma'am, and that yellow dress would look amazing on your frame Ma'am."

 Meari nodded to Lizzy and she actually blushed, she then replied to Lizzy," Thank you Ma'am, my Grandmod can be quite the force but she cares and has been great to me over my career. Thank you Ma'am I do think it looks good as well, good luck on finding the right dress for you Ma'am."

 Another very short female showed up, she felt a confidence from this woman she could tell she was a survivor she had all the signs and seemed to come to terms with it which is truly amazing. Meari had heard of humans surviving amazing things at the hands of the Demons, after Sam hugged everyone Meari looked at her and said," Pleasure to meet you Ma'am, it is my honor to meet you Ma'am I have heard of human survivors but it is a honor to actually meet one ma'am." Meari actually bows to Sam, and shows her great honor.


 Meari then turned to Harry, after Harry's comment Meari looked at her then she smiled and replied," Ahhh very funny Harry Ma'am I am sorry for my formal greeting my race is a little more formal than others, I am Meari I am a new transfer to the Hermes." Meari actually had a real smile, actually Harry's dry British wit was more up Meari's alley than American humor.

 Meari would then nod to all the ladies and say," Well it has been a pleasure to meet all you Ma'ams, I do need to find shoes, and I guess they said they do hair as well." Meari would then walk a little ways away looking for shoes but still be close enough to finish any conversations as she looked for shoes.

     Ladies  were talking  about  who..if  any ..were thier escorts.  Those who did not have  an escort would have to  choose between showing up  after the  'notables' . Or Showing up  with Shadow's   'group' for the  Media to get film of.

 Frans  and Eckles  smile and laugh, Frans says,..I always go with Shadow's Group... we get in.. we get attention  and  , any  single  guys floating around the  event, know Shadow can't  take care of us all, so they close in like sharks.... the funny thing is.. they don't know  we're waiting for the,m!

With Meari seemingly getting the joke, Harry would smile and nod her head in greeting to the woman "Well so long as you stop calling me ma'am. I think we'll get on just fine" she said before turning to address the others "well girls I'm off to get my makeup done, Best of luck with the dresses" she cheerfully said before giving Sam a lingering look and another one of those lazy smiles "I guess I'll see you around" she said with a chuckle as she headed off to get either Gia or Frans to do her makeup, followed by hunting down a nice pair of shoes to finish off her look.

She would return Lizzy's kiss with the barest of flushes on her cheeks and a soft, love struck giggle before rather shyly shrugging off her robe and bra so that she was wearing nothing but a pair of skimpy panties. Despite the fact that Lizzy had seen her naked quite a lot as of late and Harry was too busy checking out Sam to notice her, Izzy would still blush furiously as she quickly changed into the little yellow dress she had found.

Just as she had suspected; the dress was far too long for her however once the silk had fully adjusted to her body she would find that the cut, shape and colour was just about perfect for her, with the neckline just low enough to show a little cleavage without being overly provocative "I'm going to go and talk to those guys about getting the length adjusted" Izzy would say after spending a couple of minutes checking herself out in the mirror "...also I need to get my hair and makeup done, I kind of want the finished look to be a surprise" she then added with a giggle before heading towards the pair Angel tailors only to stop when something on the rack caught her eye. After gently running her fingers across the sheer fabric she would turn to call to Lizzy "Hey Lizzy, I know you wanted scandalously revealing but would virtually see-through do?" she asked with a smile, pointing out the dress in question to Lizzy before continuing on to the pair tailors "Hi...um...is there any chance you could take around three or four inches out of the length please, only the Captain doesn't seem to have a children's section" she jokingly asked before waiting to see what, if anything, they could do to help her.

 The  two  artificers gave  Izzy a smile. we can help you, of  Course? We are Angels, we have   been working with the product our  whole lives.... We   will be able to  make   dresses  fit  for those  two little ones..we  will have no  trouble  with you

 Frans  and Gia were now  in 'factory Mode' many of the LAdies had thier  dresses  and were lining up for  makeup. The two pilots  , tailoring the   look to  accent  eyes, skin tome  or dress  color.

 Lizzy smiled at Sam when she came over and introduced herself and gave them all hugs. When Sam said will she wear a dress or just go naked she giggles and said," Well I want to leave a little bit to the imagination right ladies." Lizzy smiled at Meari, she was very polite and formal, and her voice was so cold. She was a bred warrior, Lizzy wanted to help her find her passion was a good word. She will then say, " Yeah call me Lizzy, I am too young to be called Ma'am Meari."

 Lizzy smiled at Harry and when she went to leave, Lizzy stopped her and whispered into her ear," Hmmm like the petite young ones as well Harry, Sam is amazing isn't she." Lizzy giggled as she watched Harry leave.

 Lizzy smiled as Izzy got naked and put on the yellow dress, it was a little long but wow it looked awesome on her. Lizzy would say," Wow Izzy that dress looks amazing on you, I love it sweetie." Lizzy smiled and when she said she was going to get it adjusted Lizzy smiled. Then Izzy said would virtually see through do. Lizzy smiled and said," Yes it might I will look Izzy, thank you my love."  Lizzy went and looked at the dress. It had more material, but it was low, covered half the back, but looked pretty see through. She couldn't wear a bra with it as well.

 Lizzy dropped her robe and then took off her bra, she then squeezed into the very see through dress and then took a look at herself in the mirror, the dress was Lavender in color. Once she had it on she would say," So ladies what do you think scandalous enough?"

 Sam smiled at Harry when she said she was cute as well, Sam tried woman before it didn't go well but it could have been the woman though. Harry was good looking, but she was very toned and sexy, and the tattoos where sexy as hell. Sam would reply, " Well thank you Harry, I think your dress is gorgeous." She smiled at Harry and could tell she was checking her out.

 Then Meari talked to her about being a survivor, Sam smiled and said," Oh thank you but I was very young and don't remember much which is good but I am proud that I survived, thank you again Meari."

 Sam smiled and nodded at Meari when she moved a little ways away to look for shoes. Sam smiled at Izzy and Lizzy , she could tell they where in love and she was very happy for the both of them. When Izzy put on her dress Sam smiled and said," Wow Izzy that dress looks great on you, that is the one for you, now I need to find a dress."

 Sam looked for a dress as Izzy found one for Lizzy and when Lizzy dropped her robe and took off her bra Sam got to see her friends girlfriend in her almost naked splendor. Sam would watch and see why Izzy liked Lizzy she was beautiful and her body was amazing, and she had big boobs. Then Sam watched as she put the dress Izzy picked for her, and oh my Sam's jaw dropped when she put the dress on it was amazing, see through and only Lizzy could pull it off that is for sure, she did have a flare about her, and Lizzy would be great for Izzy they where the perfect couple. All Sam could say when Lizzy asked was" WOW umm just WOW Lizzy it is perfect for you."

 Sam then found a very nice dress, a little low cut but completely backless, it went almost to her knee and was a gorgeous emerald green. Sam also dropped her robe took off her bra, she definitely had above average size breasts for a woman her size. She slid the dress on, fixed it, some would have to be cut off but not too much. Once she had it all fixed up and it adhered to her body," So Ladies what do you think?" She would slowly turn as well so they could get a full look.

 Meari nods to Harry and says," Yes umm M, I mean Harry I will stop using that term. You look very good it that dress Harry." Meari watched Izzy changed and put on a very nice yellow dress, it looked very good on her.

 Meari also nodded to Lizzy about dropping all the Ma'ams. Then Lizzy got into her dress and Meari thought the woman looked amazing but the dress didn't leave much to the imagination, Meari did like the color very much.

 Then Sam got undressed and also tried on a beautiful green dress, that she looked great in and she had no fear in showing her true self. Meari admired Sam quite a bit. Meari had to get finished getting ready. She found a pair of purple flats and she figured she was done.

The hullabaloo in the Captains quarters was intense.  Nikki decided to help Haley first as all the girls chatted.  "We both decided to have curly, wavy hair today" Nikki helped remove the curling knots from Haleys hair.  Her only slightly wavy hair was now pretty curly in ringlets.  In Nikkis eyes it rather reminded her of an old child movie star from way back when named Shirley Temple.  She set up braiding parts of her hair and pulling it up and then letting the ringlets spill out.  "Last time we were here I spied a short dress, on Haley it might be tea or floor length.  It was cream with what looked like lace tulle and butterflies I think.  Anyone see it?" She worked in a few butterfly hair clips to act like a 'tiara'.  One of the Ladies found the dress in question.
"I don't like that bow thingie in front, looks silly"
"We'll fix it.  But try it on first and we'll see if it fits first and what we can do." she smiled. She helped Haley undress and get into her princess dress.  "Punkin', you are going to be the belle of the ball" She looked carefully and the front bow was actually a fairly loose attachment.  "Hmmmm?...You know this front bow we can take off and use parts in your hair"  She brought Haley out to show off.  It was a tad big, but nothing that could not be fixed.  She had Haley look at herself in the mirror.
Haley looked and swished a bit "Uhm...what about shoes.  My good ones won't go with it"
Nikki looked "You're right we will have to figure something out.  High heels for you are out right now.  Maybe some non slip slippers?" She looked about.

 the room was thinning  out now, More people  were  leaving then were coming    The CAptain had a  thigh High White shimmering    dress  with  on shoulder Her  Blue  Max   , wedding  ring   and   earrings were the only other    adornments she   had,, Smaller  heels  was all she needed, as she looked  into  one of the Mirrors.

As Lizzy stopped her to whisper in her ear a wicked smile would appear on the blonde pilots face as she whispered back "You know me Liz, I never could say no to a pretty face" with her quietly chuckling as she carried on her way. Sam was certainly cute and would certainly be entertaining, but at this point in time there was only one person's approval she wanted. And so so she would queue up with the other ladies to get her makeup done by Gia, giving her a quick hug and a peck on the cheek when she was done with her feeling more than a little grateful towards her friend over the astounding results she'd achieved.

After finding a pair of shoes with a very low heel, with her knowing that anything taller would cause her to stumble around like a baby deer, she would quickly head back to her quarters to retrieve her Blue Max and her bag, assuming of course Will being the gentleman that he was hadn't already done so for her, before heading down the hangar dec to catch her shuttle and let Will see the results, with her silently praying that he would like what he saw.

With both Lizzy and Sam telling her that her dress looked amazing, Izzy would smile as he replied "are you sure? It's not too revealing for TV is it?" she asked a little uncertainly as she adjusted the neckline with her not wanting to be accused of anything on social media.

After asking the pair of Angels whether they'd be able to help her, Izzy would give the pair a relieved smile when they said that taking a couple of inches off the length would be no problem. It was as they were making modifications to her dress that Izzy would watch as Lizzy changed into the dress she'd pointed out for her. Between the sheer lavender fabric, low neckline and cut outs it left very little to the imagination with only the strategically placed lace patterns preserving her modesty. On most women such a dress would look tacky and desperate but on Lizzy, who was the epitome of self-confidence, it looked stunning and Izzy was eager to take a closer look on the dance floor with her silently mouthing "Wow" at her girlfriend as the Angel's continued to adjust her own dress.

With both Frans and Gia seriously overworked, Izzy would do her own makeup so as to allow the other women the chance to be seen by them. Although she probably wasn't as good as they were Izzy was more than capable of making herself look stunning having had more than enough practice since becoming a reporter and often under difficult circumstances with her recalling how her previous teamed had used to tease her as she'd effortlessly applied lipstick in the back of an APC.

With her hair and makeup done, with Izzy opting to put her hair up in a traditional Chinese style bun, she would find a pair of matching high heeled shoes that would give her the much needed boost in height, knowing that despite what Meari had said about size not being everything that she didn't want everyone towering over her and consequently treating her like a child.

With her look completed all that was left was for her to pick up a few things and then head for the hanger dec where she would meet Lizzy.

 Lizzy smiled and giggled at Harry's response and they would definitely talk about it later. Sam was beautiful, her eyes where amazing, her hair gorgeous and she had a beautiful face. Lizzy thought Sam was wonderful but she was in love with Izzy, now she would never turn down a threesome with Izzy and Sam for sure.

 Lizzy responded to Izzy about her dress," Oh Izzy my dear it is perfect for TV, just enough to say WOW, and not to much for TV. You will be amazing as always Izzy."

 Lizzy then checked out her dress and decided this was the one for her tonight. She saw the lines for makeup, she went to a station and did her own, she wanted to do Izzy's and surprise her but she did her own as well, maybe they wanted to surprise each other. Lizzy would expertly do her make-up making her greens eyes pop out and using light purples to match her dress. She then put her hair up into a lavish french braid. When she was all set she then went got a pair of 5" lavender very strappy heels, and then checked herself out. Yes the dress was showy and that is what she wanted.

 Lizzy hoped she could spend a lot of time with Izzy but she had to work the Ball, but that was fine it would be great to walk in with her girlfriend so the whole ESN will know after tonight that Izzy and Lizzy where a couple, Lizzy hoped Izzy was ready for this.

 Lizzy got everything set and waved to Captain Si and headed for the Hanger Deck to spin a few heads.

 Sam smiled at Izzy and said," Oh that dress looks amazing on you Izzy it will be fine the color is great as well. Now lets finish up shall we." Sam loved how the green dress looked and knowing the back was completely open made her feel invigorated. She would wait for the girls to do her makeup she wasn't that good at it, and her hair as well.

 When she was done her makeup looked amazing really making her amazing blue eyes pop, and her hair was done up in a beautiful bun that looked amazing on her with her silvery white hair.  She then found a pair of green 3" heels and then checked herself over to make sure everything was right.

 Sam smiled and waved at Sarah as Sam headed for the Hanger Deck to find her escort Lt. Howe.

She smiled at the man helping with creations. "Now I should find something for me...I guess" true there was not much to pick from, but Nikki was not choosy.  She still had the silvery grey one from the last fancy party on Bura.  Still nothing like hunting in the morning.  She did find a few she liked in color, but the cut or style was wrong.  Others she kept her mouth shut as she wanted to ask what were they thinking.  Especially pulling one that looked like a half inflated pool duck.  She spotted a bronze-copper looking dress laying under a few others on the bed someone had tried and it probably got dropped in favor of another.  As the man was fitting to make Haley some shoes she the dress out and looked it over.  Then slipping over to change  it fit her like a glove.  Floor length, black with the bronzish-coppery beading along the side.  the movement though was a bit tight.  She moved over to the gentlemen "This would be perfect except could a side slit be possible?  Say up to the knee or just above?" She indicated to where.  "Also this may seem silly but are there garters?" She only needed one, but she had a few alternatives.  She did a twirl for Si before the alteration to the dress "This dress is gorgeous, just needs to allow a bit of flow to dance a bit more freely.  I do have to say with all the dresses you have very good tastes and your gentlemen do wonderful work" she did have to compliment them all.  Back home these dresses would have made her look like a Queen.
When the dress was settled she did her own hair and had her make up done.  She used her hair powders to turn the fading reddish streak into a more coppery one against her dark brown locks.

Finally, both were ready.  Even had time for a garter to be made, and get a bit of breakfast snacks as well.  With a very appreciative thank you the move back to their quarters then to the hangar dec.  During the walk there Nikki stressed about being polite, kind, and have fun.  Most important was to try and stay clean.  Wouldn't do toget dirty before the party.

   Captain Si lead Val into her Quarters, Dresses were being staged and set up for the 'Dress Picking'.  She Lead  Val into  one of the side rooms and Opened the Closet. Reaching in , she swung out two long metal  arms that contained  White, Cream, Lt Blue  and Very Light green.

  These are Gowns, not really suited for Balls   and the like? But  do come in handy for ...overly..formal occassions.

 Val gasped  as she looked  at the  Dresses...isn't this a bit....over the top...for a rec dec  wedding?

  Si Put an arm around her   Waist,  as the other  arm lifted  a dress here and there, ..It is not the place you are married, it is whom you are getting married to?  I would have Liked to Have Melia  dressed, but they did a battlefield  wedding....We have this chance, since we are on The Hermes, for you to pick out a good dress..and..you may add it to your collection...as well as  get a dress for the Ball..consider it, a wedding present?

 orderlies  were  setting out  shoes  and  some dozen racks of  dressed, as well as  more racks in the 'guest' bedroom.. The Captain's  bedroom was set up  for  hairstyles  and Makeup, with  Frans, Eckles  and Gia to handle that.

a  8  full length Mirrors were  scattered about, and  two Angel seamstresses  sat with thier tools, ready to nip and  tuck what might be needed.

  a Table with  sandwich food and fingers foods, as well as  softdrinks, wines  and sodas  were set up with a Civie woman in charge ( her pay was a dress of her own! )

 the  was  buzzing about  as woman looked over the dressed , eating  snacks  ,  and  taking drinks, captain Si  would join in , here and there, as the ladies  took the first steps to pick thier  dresses.

 Meari walked towards Captain Si's quarters and saw the Guards she smiled and walks in. She then smiles at the ladies and begins looking for a dress Frakas will like.

Kira arrived a bit after Meari did and waved as she entered into Captain Si's quarters and was immediately overwhelmed by it all but still she did her best to put her game face on and begin looking through the dresses for a nice blue color.

Kira turned to Captain Si and smiled, "I will admit its a little out of my element, however i have chief Morgan escorting me so I'm very excited Captain" she then noticed a blue colored dress and took it off the rack and would try it on after bit.

 Captain Si  gave a  smiles  and Nod of Approval....Morgan, if i am not mistaked, Tended to stay on board, or hit the   beach bars, with some of the other  Crewman..You did  well to get him out of his shell.

 Meari smiled, then nodded to Captain Si and then replied, " Yes I am Captain Si, I am excited and nervous Sgt Frakas a Sanri Scout will be my escort Captain. I am use to events like this with my family background" Meari smiled and the Captain would see a real honest smile.
