Frans  Picked up on it...Yes!!!! Just think of it like this... their  skin  shifts all the time, its  part of them, so  why not High light it?  Maybe it stand  out they way   it  makes  it...um... Glow?  darker  purple is   darker.. greys  are Lighter , white  is  brighter?

Frans    looked to Tarja to see if Nikki was going to   help or, her.

Nikki finished her song an led the ladies acting at guards towards Frans "What can I do to help?" she asked nearly splitting her side to keep from laughing to what Haley said. "Ladies don't forget there are also the thigh holsters and blade sheathes that you can hide too" reminding all that even off duty there was the general mandate weapons protocol.

Billie offered Jug a warm smile. “No...I have not met Jug...it’s nice meeting you Jug. I am Billie.” She watched as the Gava admired herself in the mirror, recalling her own first time getting ready for the Ball. She had never owned an angel silk gown let alone tried one on. “She looks great. You did good, Nikki.” Taking a sip from her drink, Billie glanced around, taking note of all the women assembled including a couple who were on guard duty. It struck a chord deep within, the moment honestly touching at how all banded together even if they didn’t hang out regularly or know each other personally. The comradery...the fact that they would all protect one another when the need arose was just amazing to witness and perhaps made Billie feel a bit more accepted even if she found herself being more reclusive than she would have liked. Arnie always encouraged her to go and socialize but it was so hard to let that guard down. “I suppose I better make sure all of my stuff is packed up...see you guys on the hanger dec,” she called out and headed for the door.

 Meari smiled and then replied," That sounds good to me I trust you ladies." Meari then took a seat and let the ladies work her magic.

 Lizzy giggled then replied," Yes of course you will my love, you look amazing." Lizzy would watch as the ladies were getting done, then Tarja talked about smokey eyes, and all the makeup ladies were busy.

 Lizzy looked at Izzy and said," Let's go to this makeup station, can you help me with Tarja's, makeup?" Lizzy then looked over at Tarja and said," Tarja, Izzy and I can help you over here if you wish?"

 Gia went to work on Sam's makeup making Sam look absolutely amazing for Zob. Sam smiled when Gia was done and said," Thank you very much, you did a great job."

With Lizzy saying that she looked amazing Izzy would hold her a little closer before leaning up to give her a kiss ”hmm thank you baby” she softly giggled.

With Tarja looking just a little lost and everyone else busy helping others with their hair and makeup, Lizzy would offer to help ”sure, I’m happy to do a little hair and makeup” Izzy said, deciding that considering Tarja had carried her wife from behind enemy lines that a little hair and makeup was the least she could do ”Take a seat Tarja, we’ll get you sorted out in no time” she cheerfully said as she pointed towards the free makeup station.

With a relieved look on her face Tarja would take a seat at the station that Izzy had indicated with both her and Lizzy offering to help with her makeup ”thank you….Nikki said something about smouldering eyes but I not really know what that means…most people saying my eyes are intimidating” Tarja said as she took a seat at the table, curious and just a little nervous over what they would do to her.

”Nah, Harry’s eyes were intimidating, she could bore a hole through steel! Yours are kind of dark and sultry” Izzy replied before grabbing a hair brush and working on Tarja’s hair that was a dark brown colour that verged on black, and fell to just above her shoulders ”…we can certainly use that to our advantage and emphasise them…what do you reckon babe? Nothing too heavy or extravagant, just enough to highlight those pretty eyes” she would say, turning to Lizzy to see if she had any ideas ”…she’s got some lovely cheekbones too!” Oh and maybe add a little curl to her hair? she continued excitedly, clearly more that happy to have a willing volunteer to play dress up with.

"Like I said 'Smoldering'. make her blue eyes deeper like mountain lakes for someone to get lost in" Nikki said to Izzy. "The curls sounds nice too" she was off to the side hiking her long dress up and placed a leg on a cossack. under her dress and well hidden was her sheathe strap she was putting on, demonstrating to a few ladies how to wear it.

 Lizzy smiled and replied," Oh yes we can make Tarja's eyes pop, they are beautiful. Also I am prety good at the smoldering look, just ask Izzy." Lizzy giggled then added," Yes Izzy, I will finish her face you work your magic on her hair." Lizzy smiled, she was having fun and helping out Tarja made her just feel-good inside.

I never thought of this ..'hair style'  But I do like it" she stated " I do think 'make up' for me is a bit much.. I will next time have tooth jewelry that Gava like"

”uh-huh my baby can smoulder with the best of them” Izzy giggled as she set to work on adding a slight curl to Tarja’s hair whilst Lizzy meanwhile used her skills with a makeup brush ”…I’m certain we can get someone lost in those eyes…assuming they look up long enough to see her eyes!” Izzy giggled with Tarja’s dress showing off plenty of bare skin in all the right places along with a strong, muscular physique that Izzy was just a little jealous of perhaps I should work out a little more?

It wouldn’t take Izzy too long to get the desired effect with Tarja’s hair with her adding a shimmer and a curl to it that made look a little more glamorous without making her look fake and overdone, leaving only Lizzy to finish off her makeup before she was ready for the ball.

    Brivet  asked   Beth  as they  stabbed  some cheese  cubes and 'sausage' cubes  to eat..So? that deserter  Bounty is real..right?

 Beth nodded,yep? where  ever she is..she shoudl  just keep going.. Privateers, Pirates, ex-military,and maybe a luck civie?  they'll be gunnign for that.. I bet half our fighter  wing would like to cash in on that as well

 Traci  stepped over to  get a drink..couldn't help over  hearing...there are rumors she headed to The Moons? but that wouldn't be smart.. Nivar? , can't  hide there.

 Frans looked over  from the makeup area..That's  one thing  we learned from the bad  guys, You put a Big Bonty our..greed  will find  away, and adding  a smaller  bounty for  information... some one always  talks.

 Bronberry  was looking at there  work the Ladies  did on her hair  and smiled her thanks, then she  went for a drink...after that mess  in that  hulk, on E-1..i don't know why she wasn't summarily executed on the planet. The Admiral was there!.. She might have been trying to kill him and collect her own bounty

 Meari was getting her makeup worked on when the ladies talked about Harry. " If I see that bitch I will slowly cut her to little pieces, she almost got myself and our whole team killed because she was upset at something and wouldn't listen to a direct order. Now I wish I didnt help pull her to safety. Maybe I will take some leave and go hunting anyone want to join me?"

She didn't know if they were talking of Harry or not.  Many didn't know her as well as she, Will, or An'teela did.  No matter she'd give Harry the benefit of doubt.  For now she just hoped Harry was safe and her mind and heart... healing. For the moment it was heling tell her who would do what should they meet again.

Dusk had  an Angry Face.....sometimes, when i feel angry or helpless, i play the Vid  of father  beating that   Traitor, Jonny Blu  to death..i have the sound up, so i can feel like I was there..It is odd, that Father  and Captain Si left their  fighter's  Gun Cams on...

 Captain Si, said with a dark, closed lipped smile.I left mine on, because i hopped out too  quickly... Tarja sat with a disinterested look as the others talked, with her having zero interest in talking shop all night with her feeling relieved when the conversation moved on to action figures and who they should fixed her and Jug up with at the dance to which Tarja would quickly say ”I am sure I will manage on my own” being careful not to move too much whilst Lizzy worked. She wasn’t sure how Jug felt about being the subject of matchmaking but she for one would sooner steer clear of it with her instead asking ”so…ball…how formal we talking? And how much dancing is involved?”

"The Gava ...most, will be there. I am sure I will find a partner. Jug will not embarrass" she smiled, waiting for any ladies going to the hangar "The others will wear formal tunics.  A few decide to stay here and gather needed sleep" she had thought maybe a dance with Shade since they were similar in height.

 anyway?  once your there , there are  some formal  Slow dances   with  people  you came iith , you hit you up when you got there... Then the  Fuji  folks   pick out Fleet folks to dance with... The brass, and personalities like  the SM and Sahdow are  big targets..in the  end ,it breaks down to a real party with  mixes of fast and slow songs, there  are foods  on the sideboards, and   enough drinks to fill the  Hermes  water   Tanks

 Sometime during the night, there are the   guy who have to get in theface of Sahdpow, or the LC,,sometiems Shade? Why upi pick on Shade  is  somthing i can't undersatnd..he doesn't hurt anyone, until he has to hurt some one!...Anyway.. Shadow  will take his leave, or be sent away, and that's our   cue that the After  party at the Condo takes  place...Its a real party, and all of our people are there , make it look like a real party, that covers the 'extras' i talked about...when the  time to Crash  happens, Shadows  Condo is  open on both wings except for the master Bed  room,,he uses the guest bed room inside that room, and the main bed room is stocked , for extras...so?  if you get lucky and need a place to  Get L...

Captain Si looked at her , then shifted her eyes  to Haley

Tarja would listen as Beth explained the itinerary for the ball with it sounding like that unless you had a date or were noteworthy enough to be chosen by someone from Fuji you could avoid the formal dancing and instead mingle and have something to eat and drink before returning to the party at the condo. Though she wasn’t sure why LC Shadow would require an alibi…”ah is good because I don’t know how to dance…I mean REAL dancing not drunken nightclub dancing, I can do that…oh wow so that is the smouldering eyes look” she would say as Lizzy finished her makeup and stepped to the side so she could see her reflection in the mirror. She had been worried that she would end up looking like a child’s Barbie but thankfully she still looked like her…just a little more feminine and sexier ”well little bird I think we are now even…thank you” she would quietly say to Lizzy, with her still feeling a little stunned by how well it had turned out.

"Like I said Tarja... smoldering" Nikki said now adjusting her pin. "You can use 'unable to dance' to your advantage.  gently step on a toe or two and blush.  ask your partner to teach you" she gave a wry smile "they'll help teach you"

There was a chuckle from Tarja in response to Nikki’s suggestion of how to use her inability to dance to her advantage ”I may have to try that…” Tarja replied with a knowing smile ”….it would be nice to…um…have some company tonight” she said mindful of the fact that there were little ears present ”…with that in mind are there any…dance partners…I should steer clear of?”
