Lizzy followed Izzy to the shops by the Condo, she saw some great things in one store soaps, perfumes and beauty products. Lizzy was looking for a jewelry store but she wouldnt hunt she would know when she found the perfect green earrings she figured they would find her now, she giggles to herself as Izzy was looking at the shops. Lizzy just smiled looked around until something jumped out at her, she was enjoying walking with Izzy before they go back to their home the Hermes.

  Can, remarkably finished  all his food  and drink... perhaps a habit  of eating fast before   some one  beat them away from where  ever they might have  found food.

  He looked at the dish, and looked  from Val to henry.... thank you..... was all he could manage to say

As they carried on down the street, they would pass a news agents and a store selling soft furnishings before coming across a pet shop at which Izzy would stop to look through the window "Oh wow look at these! They're so pretty!" she said pointing to a large tank of tropical fish and what appeared to be tiny colour shifting jellyfish, with Izzy watching the mesmerising display as they swam around their tiny aquatic world. Next to them there was a cage with around a dozen hamsters running around, and a small enclosure containing what could have been called a tortoise were it not for the horns protruding from it's head "I was never allowed a pet when I was growing up, mom always said our apartment wasn't big enough, though I think we simply couldn't afford the extra mouth to feed...even a small one" she said bending down to watch a grey and white hamster running around his wheel much to her obvious delight.

Unfortunately their quarters were definitely too small for a pet, and so Izzy would reluctantly carry on walking down the street. It was as they were approaching a small Parisienne style café that Izzy would stop to look in the window of a clothes store where she would spot what appeared to be a short, pink Angel silk robe on one of the mannequins "If only I could afford something like that...not that it would be in my size anyway" she would softly sigh as she admired the garment, before turning to speak to Lizzy "Come on, let's go and get that coffee and then we can check the other side of the street"

 Lizzy smiled and walked down the street and she looked in the windows of the stores and was just happy to walk with Izzy, so far she hasnt found the perfect earrings yet. When they got to the pet store, Lizzy loved looking at the fish, they where beautiful and she always wanted a pet her father would never allow her to have any pets. Lizzy replied," Yes they are gorgeous Izzy living in their own little world." She looked at the other pets and loved the hamsters, she watched them then replied to Izzy," Oh you couldnt have pets either my Father didnt want a pet never gave me a reason just said no pets. Well once we have a home together we can get as many pets we can take care of ok Izzy?" Lizzy liked the one running on his wheel as well.

 Lizzy knew their quarters could barely hold her and Izzy adding a pet would be awesome but there was not enough room. Lizzy was disappointed but she knew they didnt have room for a pet even a small one.  They moved to a clothing store and Lizzy saw the Angel silk robe as well and replied after Izzy. " Oh yes that is beautiful, oh Izzy angel silk fits to the wearer and it is beautiful maybe would could look at the price, but you are right they are very expensive."  Once Izzy said they should go get some coffee  Lizzy replied," Oh yes that sounds great a coffee break we check the other side and then we head back to the Hermes my love."

 Lizzy would lead Izzy into the Cafe and look for a seat.

“That is true,” Billie chuckled, enjoying the tender moment they were sharing. “Honestly, I forget that that is a possibility. I really do need to make sure that I am prepared just in case. Of course, I need to talk to the Sergeant Major first. Seems like a lot of my spare time is getting taken…but at least I can come see you regularly on the Observation Dec.” That grin could easily be heard in the tone that she used as she placed a hand upon his thigh.

Battered, bruised, a bit sloshed, but all smiles Jug had the gava squad packed up and moved out to return to the ship.  They placed their bags and gear to be loaded and headed to the transport themselves, a slight sway in their gait.

Henry smiled at Can.

"That's all you need to say, Can. It's good to see you getting to live properly. Now grab your gear, we're going to have to run for it. Come on Mila, best paw forwards."

Henry paid for the meal and the little party more or less sprinted for the pick-up point, just in time to see Can off.

 Can went up the ramp... he gave Shadow a wave... He looked at  Henry , Val and Mila holding his bag tight at the top of the  ramp.. tears  came down his cheeks  as he refused to move  as he watched them, while the ramp came up.

It was true that Angel Silk would conform to the wearers body to a certain extent but unfortunately as far she was aware it wouldn't change it's length "oh I'm not worried about it fitting over my hips and boobs, it's the length" she explained as they turned away from the store and started heading towards the café. The robe would most likely fall to around her knees as opposed to her upper thigh like it was designed to with her not even having the option of looking in the children's section.

Located at the end of the street, They would take a seat at one of the small round tables that sat in the street where they would be met by a teenage girl wearing a dark uniform and a white apron about her waist, and the cafe's name written upon the breast "Hello, welcome to cafe Bertrand, how may I take your order?" she asked with a noticeably accent and a pleasant smile despite the hour "Hi, yes, Can I have a Cappuccino and a Pain Au Chocolat please" Izzy replied, returning the waitresses smile before turning to see what Lizzy wanted.

With the waitress disappearing into the small but stylish café, it would become clear that Izzy had something on her mind again. She would mull the thought over in her mind for a couple minutes before speaking to Lizzy in her characteristically soft, almost musical voice which was now lacking the timid edge it had held since the explosion "We'd be able to get a fish right? I mean they don't take up a lot of space or looking after"

  As The  BU  Buttoned up... Hack turned to   Sarah,  he held up a finger  as he opened  a COM , after   tapping in some   addresses

  ..This is Admiral Hack.   around  1000 hours   tomorrow, I would like  the Fleet Commanders  and   the section Commanders of the Delta Fleet  to meet at my Mess   for a working lunch, to discuss our  next moves..Get your housekeeping in orders, the meeting
 has  an  undetermined legth, but none of you will be leaving until we set our new course...or...courses... That is all...

 He nodded  to  Sarah,and  motioned to the  Big  Ugly getting ready for lift off...You have  more on your plate then most.

  Roll  turned to  Doc  Henry, as he saw Can  hugging his  bag and staring...poor  Can... its not  good to get 'serted....i was 'serted once..but Jax  saved me.... the little  'cadet largmaster' waved to Can.

 Lizzy smiled and said, "They do have seamstresses that can alter it for you, you are gorgeous Izzy."  Lizzy then followed Izzy to the table and Lizzy just ordered a very dark roast black.

 Lizzy smiled and knew Izzy wanted to say something, and after she asked Lizzy smiled and said," I believe it is allowed to have small pets I dont think a small tank with a few fish wuld be a problem, but I comm Captain Morris?"

 Without waiting for Izzy to respond Lizzy thought it would be awesome to have some pretty fish in their quarters. Lizzy was all smiles and sent Captain Morris a Comm text message: " Captain Morris Sir is it okay if Izzy and I have a small fish tank with a few fish in our quarters, thank you Sir."

 Lizzy then smiled at Izzy and said," I sent him a message, also they have cats on the farm we could befriend to keep the rodent population down, we could always talk to Doc Christy about adopting one if you would like Izzy?"

 a few  minutes  later, Lizzy's COM lit up... if they are small fish, and  eat  fish food, or  alge , they will be permitted. You will have to get a 'space travel specific ' tank...any  savage  predators  cannot  be brought on board... up keep is  a must. If there are Complaints about  smell..or from  normal  quarters Inspections, the fish  will be removed...That is about al the perimeters  we have.

Henry turned to Roll. His eyes were not dry either.

"He'll be OK. At least we got to show him normal life. Playing on a beach. Shopping. Going for dinner. I had to show him how to eat with a knife and fork."

He glanced over at Val.

"It's like puppies. You want to keep them all. It's not practical. He'll have a good life, opportunities, friends..."

He took out a handkerchief and honked loudly.

"Best go aboard. Do you want to check about your ring?"

 Val looked overly sad,as the ramp closed.yes.. i think we can COM them, unless you want to  run over  and Check, Recall  should be  any....

A loud , Metallic ,Feminine  voice  echoed though COMs  and PA systems  every where,,,..This  is the ESN 351 Hermes.. Recall   will sound   in  5 seconds... count  down  clocks  will start   for  2 hours.. do not miss  cast off, as the penalties  will be harsh.... that is  all...

 shortly  After,  Horns   all over the stations, and   every ship in the docking   arms sounded three times, Clocks  came up on every Vid screens  1:58.58.... 1:58:57.....

 Lizzy smiled as she read the comm text from Captain Morris. Lissy replied happily," Izzy he said we can get small fish in a space specific tank, and if they eat fish food or algae, we have to take care of the tank or they will be removed by SEC ok Izzy, when we are done with our coffees would you like to get a small fish tank with a few fish Izzy?" Lizzy heard the recall, they had a little time to go get the fish and tank but they still had time if they hurried as she heard the recall.

Henry called the jeweller, to ask after the progress on the ring and that the Hermes was leaving soon, so when could they expect delivery?

 henry got a COM back a few minutes later.

 "  the  ring is set. and the  band has been sized.. we can send it up with in the hour, or  you may come by and pick it up..please, let us know.."

Before she even had chance to say any more on the matter Lizzy had sent Captain Morris a message asking permission for them to keep an aquarium in their quarters closely by a reply stating the rules on what they could and could not have as a pet along with what would happen if they didn’t take care of them. To be honest she hadn’t been expecting anywhere near as much of a reaction to her idle comment about getting a pet fish ”are you sure? We won’t have time to look at any of the other shops if we do?” Izzy said knowing how much Lizzy wanted to find those earrings.

 Lizzy smiles at Izzy and replies," Yes I am very sure, you will most likely need rest after your surgery and having the fish , they will keep you company. Plus I love fish as well. That is ok I will not find what I am looking for here when I find them I will know Izzy. " Lizzy then got scanned to pay the bill, took Izzy's hand and headed for the pet store.

All 4 had done a final room check and change of clothes packed their gear back up and waited for their time to board to go back to Hermes.

"Well...ok if sure" Izzy softly replied as she finished the last of her cappuccino , wanting to be absolutely certain that Lizzy was happy to drop her search so they could get a couple of fish for their quarters.

With time running short they would quickly head back down the street to the pet shop and head inside, where they would be greeted by the owner. After a short conversation it would quickly become apparent that as eager as Izzy was to finally have a pet that she didn't know the first thing about owning an aquarium. After speaking with them for a little while he would point them in the direction of a small self contained tank that as well as meeting the required specifications for space travel also had an inbuilt water filter, heater and a couple of plants. This was closely followed by some food and a small bottle of drops that they needed to add to the water to removed anything within the Hermes water supply that would adversely affect the fish. Truth be told, looking after a fish was little more involved than Izzy had first imagined however with the shop keeper pointing them in the direction of a tank of Burian Sailfins saying as how they were ideal for beginners, Izzy would smile when she finally picked out a shimmering pink fish "Your turn Lizzy, which one do you like the look of?" she asked as her little pink fish was scooped from out of the tank and placed within a travel container.

 Lizzy smiled ," Yes I am positive, now lets go." They then quickly headed to the pet shop, once inside they talked to the owner. They finally told them the tank they should get suitable for space travel.

 Once they got the basics of tank and fish care they looked for fish, the owner showed then the perfect fish for beginners. Lizzy at the Burian Sailfins, they where beautiful Izzy picked out a pink one. Lizzy looked and found a beautiful red that matched her hair. Lizzy said," That red one matches my hair. This is great Izzy. Lizzy was excited it was fun having a pet, but it would require work but it was worth it they where beautiful. Lizzy was happy they where getting fish together. Once her fish was scooped out and placed in the travel container Lizzy paid for it all.

 She carried the tank as she gave Izzy the two fish containers, as they left the store and headed for the transports to the Hermes.

With Lizzy getting an orangey-red fish that nicely complemented her fiery hair, they would pay for their purchases with Izzy insisting that she paid for at least some of it, suspecting that Lizzy would bankrupt herself buying her gifts if she let her, they would head for the shuttles back to the Hermes. Despite the injuries she had sustained Izzy had enjoyed their shore leave together, but it was now time for them to go home and for Izzy to figure out her next move.

Henry checked the time, easy enough with all the count-down clocks.

"I'll go get it for you," he said to Val, "That way we're sure we have it. Can you look after Mila? Might as well go on up, I'll join you in a bit."

He told the store clerk he'd be round momentarily and to have it ready. He took a cab, asked the driver to wait, and darted in to pick it up (and, yes, he does check inside the box!) before returning and catching one of the last shuttles up.

Flex:

 Lizzy let Izzy pay for half of the bill, that was fair. Then They got on the transport and headed back to the Hermes, Lizzy had a great time, she helped out on Delta Nights they went shopping, had a spa day, Izzy did get hurt but maybe that was a blessing in disguise. Lizzy smiled as they rode back to the Hermes and their home with their new fish.
