Re: OOC #29
as you Vets here , have seen me mention a few times, of how i liked Avalon Hill war games ( the tactical one counter was one object..1 plane..i tank ect ect)
anyway, what i really liked was the differant results on your dice rolls , depending on your point ob view, distance, weapon type crew type speed Height..all that stuff..it was great.
' In The Labyrinth " Metagaming COs fanatsy tactial game ( now reissued by steve jackson games) did that with thier rules for spells and fighting as well... your armor took so many 'hits'..and tour chance to hit came off you own Agility and whatever you had to MOD your attack... so? a Halfling with no armor could just about Kill or knock down a fighter in full plate if they were lucky enough to get double of triple damage..( be like a dagger or arrow going through an eye slit?)
anyway?.. for the newer folks, you'll wonder at the numbers i give you for results and such, that is what i have on scrap paper is i read your posts and add that to what i have going on with bad guys and other NPCs
i may have you folks do more rolls , just to add more random stuff to outcomes.
