Not that I would wish this on anyone >.< The valve in my stomach doesnt close which makes it difficult for me sometimes. That and stress.

 I have that as well Nic it sucks pretty bad, certain things i just cant eat anymore.

I used to have no problems with acid reflux. In the past year or so, Pepcid and I have become good friends.  I take one before I go to bed...and as long as I don't try to run too long on an empty stomach, that takes care of the problem, most days.  Even on bad days, it keeps it controlled enough that Rolaids will get me by until it's time for another Pepcid.

And I wonder how they think humans might evolve to become venomous...I mean, first off, what if we started out venomous and evolved to merely salivate?  Our diets diversified, we domesticated animals, we no longer needed venom to help kill our meals...

And second off, what evolutionary advantage would be gained by humans being venomous?  I don't mean, would it be cool?  Because it would, yes, it's the stuff of some interesting speculative fiction.  But for it to become a widespread thing, there would have to be either an unprecedented genetic drift for no particular reason, or there would be some survival niche filled by venomous humans that would make them thrive when 'normal' humans struggled to survive.  There's no good reason for Natural Selection to settle on venomous humans.

  my son started to have issues   when he got  his first divorce from that drunk, druggie.. and he took  some stuff that helped.

 then i started to get it, thought it  would go away , but i would be on the couch playign  video games  and  suffering, then i started  taking Tums, and stayed away from nibbling on pizza   too late at night.

  I do surveys  to pick up points   to get Amazoncards that us use to help get kids and grandkids   presents and stuff?... one  Vid   i had to watch.. i really suffered through..but?.. it was worth alot points... seems this  Doctor  ( who, of course wante to  help folks)..left his practice   and  was teaching  at some east school when he  figured out   about  acid  reflux  and stuff.. the  bastard  doesn't say how much the stuff costs until way at the  end of the 15 minute   crap fest....( 60 dollars  for a 30 day supply of  pills???)

 anyway.. I'm  reading a WWI  book  i bought of Amazon, while listening  and i keep hearing him  say 'Zinc  this, and Zinc that'..and   a cartoon showed little zincs pugging up holes in intestings ..and i thought " HEYYYYYYY wait a  minute! "..so..i went out  and bought a bottle of Zinc.. the first might  , not much.. the  next night better..now?... I don't even take it everyday,and a rarely  have problems , unless i go over board on the pizza!

My son sues  it  and it has  helped him alot... though? if  some one had a real chronic case? it might just thin a bit of stuff out.

so?.. My daughter  set up her  2nd oldest Son ( who i play football with on sundays)  for  Covid  shot..and found out they had openings, to  she signed me up as well.

 they set up  my second does  as well...so?.. as long  as the shots don't kill me..i'll be a bit safer.

everyone  i talked to  said that... not  looking forward to it, but it would be nice to feel a little  safer.

I get my first shot tomorrow afternoon.  Gonna be a day at work...show up, leave to go renew my drivers license, back to work, leave to get my covid vaccination, go back to work...

At least it will be an easy night at the movie theater.  We're not changing any titles this week, keeping all six movies (first time since we reopened that we had all-current titles showing...although Croods 2 barely qualifies, with as long as it's been out.  But people are still coming to see it, so we're still showing it.)  All I have to do is change the showtime information sheets and shuffle the name cards between two theaters (which makes me laugh a little...those two theaters are the same size, so why change where the movies are showing?  But, not my job...)
