There was a violent explosion to the   far, port side of the  furball, The  ESN Shepheard  Broke in  Have as  The  Crabcake  rammed her, Both  ships   splitting aprt.. PODs   were popping out of each vessel. Both vessels were dead.

   Shadow,   curled  around the  tail section of the   Perth and dove  below  to jump a pack of 6 pirate aircraft, that seemed intent   on trying to up up under  the Hermes ... Shadow  did the 'screw'  torching   the   wingleader  and damaging two more, Kat Killed two  as they both  went through the surpirsed formation and   peeled  back around.

   MAchins  torched  another  fighter  as it  crossed his  guns, goign  after Steele.  Billie    knocked the wings off,  a craft  coming up under  Machins.

 Nic and his  two charges  swept   above the   fight. A red  Number One  had three   red fighters  with him, he suddenly Dove  down into the  maelstrom  and his flight  followed.

  Houde  screamed....  They Got my starboard   wing and  my hyrdos  are red!!

 Lizzy and  Nikki  closed in on the flight, and readied  to open up

Nic saw the red tail 1 and COMMed. "Sighted number 1 heading towards the battle from my position, LC. 3 asskissers with 'em, firmly planted." Nic wasn't about to follow that crew only because now he had a wing man who took a hit. "Pod out Houde, if its that bad or head back." He looked around for what ever had gotten her and then curled around to fire on the incoming fighters. "Rue, we are heading into the cluster. Stay frosty." Then he dived down into the fray with his wingman to see about the pack being chased by Raven and others. He sprayed them with plasma pulse rounds to give them a distraction.

 Lizzy flew  up towards the flight with Nikki by her side, once she had a shot she would open up on the leader and then try and take out a wingman before she had to pull up, she watched the enemy closely hoping the wing would turn right into her sights. "Lets kick their asses Fury." She watched Nikki no one was going to sneak up on her, not while she was Nikki's wingwoman. Lizzy would concentrate on the flight in front of her but also watching for any ESN fighters in trouble.

 Lizzy wasnt after kills that was obvious she was shooting bad guys but she was watching and protecting Nikki and other pilots more then just going after kills. Lizzy was keeping her eyes open for any good guy in need as she went after the flight with Nikki.

In reply to shuttles (msg # 15):

Kira switched her focus from the troops that locked themselves down to the heavy weapons teams coming down the passage, "Everyone get inside!" both her weapons arms spun up and a deadly combination of heavy pulse and .50 cal rounds tore down the passage.

Zob let out a demonic chuckle as he jumped down into the hole with no hesitation as he landed he took aim and began firing full auto, "Did you miss me?!" he shouted as he let the demon heavy pulse rounds fly down the passage towards the incoming weapons team.

  more  troops poured out of the  elevators, both  doors opened  as   they went , every other   trooper  towards Andre  or Kira.

 the  Spade  side of the  passage was already stacked with Bodeis, Andre  had a  goo  file   wtoo   as   Nol and Skee tore into  some of the newer  folks, Puskie  ket close  to   shoot at anyone  trying to  hurt the largs.


 meanhwile, half of the diamond  people were fighting   SSN SEC who  tried to  throw  some  junk up for a barrier, but now were  trapped , sicne Morgan locked the engine room  door.

 in the engine room,  LT  Hirr , Jug and  the Burians  troops  began to  fight , the  stairs  would be  deadly.. butt he engines had to  be killed , or the bridge taken.

Zob was focused on mowing down the enemy troops coming down the passage, "We gotta get that Bridge door open!" Zob kept firing full auto though as he pushed up a bit to keep them in check and take off some of the pressure from Kira.

"Right with you, Fire...That Largans gonna have one hellova headache.  Let's rock this fight!" She was ready to whoop it up a bit, but remembered that hubris was often the fall of many pilots...time enough to celebrate after the battle.  "Let's show them what a good old fashion ass whoopin' is!"
Nikki would nod or give a thumbs up quickly to Lizzy of doing okay.  They good pair as they watched each others asses.  "Fire...break left a Largan making for one of the shuttles, lets show him the error of his ways" she had seen his tracers firing, and knew where he was going.  She looked for his wingman or cover as well.  "He's got a wingman with him covering"

Kira with no risk of friendly fire swapped out her left pulse hand for her napalm all the while still firing with her right handed minigun after a few seconds Kira took aim with the napalm and sprayed the elevator with napalm looking to cook them all alive on her side.

Roy made his way up to where the pair of largs were waiting.  "Hemsly, Karson, get up here.  We need to breach the bridge doors and you two are my universal locksmiths.  Heavy weapons, form up on Ambermoon's mech, hold the line there.  Riflemen, get up here to the bridge hatch...we need to follow the largs in once the hatch is breached.  Lirg, Nugest, Nifty, stick with the heavies and supplement their firepower as needed."

Fighting close gave the Gava a bit of an advantage due to their smaller stature and rather more 'gymnastic' movements. As a few of the Burians and Lt. Hirr were forcing the enemy back towards the engine room, Jug and a few Gava began their assault.  Like a pyramid Bog and Goji stood together being covered by Uvuvu and a few other Burians and another Felrite.  Jug though big for a Gavan ran full force to Bog and Goji, her 'Gava teeth blades' in hand.  Stepping just before them into a jump to land in their hands.  Bog and Goji pushed up giving Juh extra height and momentum, as well as arc to get Jug airborne.  Up and over the front line in the  stairs.  In the air Jug had practiced, as had the other Gava, to then use the ceiling to use as another jumping aid and propel her down amid the enemy.  Landing she quickly slashed out at the legs of the enemy and give space to the next Gava, Liig.

West waited to the side of the hatch waiting for the breachmen to do their work. "You heard the man" he said repeating the SM's orders "I want you so close to the largs you can smell what they had for dinner."

 Lyri  used all COMs,another  grenade or two and a few more   rounds  we'll have the  Officers dec  clear  and can  get  Lt Hirr to open the Engine room doors.-

  the  Gava    launched  and Bounced off  walls and   such,  landing on the   first  landing that was between Decs.. from behind the  defenders on that part of the stairs  they began to hack and slash thier  way up, While Jug Notice  a few on thier  way up. The   felrites  , were eager to join in the fray, while Burians  acted  as   snipers  dropping   Human  and some  Wisp officers.

   Aircraft swarmed  around the Caps ships, Like  fish among whales, The   SSN  vessesl were Caught, if they tried to  leave  the  swarm they would  get  torn to bits  by  the ESN vessels out side the  area... if they stayed,  they could  only hope to damage  as many ESN Vessels as they were able, and...maybe.. find a hole.

 But the shuttles were dropping..The Nemesis was calling  for Drop ship troopers  to hand on The Golden Band, as  The Golden Band's  engines  shut down.

 Shadow's only reply was a chuckle. the  4 Red   fighters,  slightly differant from the other SSN Novas began to fire  power  weapons  at   Shadow and Kat,  the two  Hermes Pilots  split   to the left and  right, causing the   group to  fly  right past

 Kat didn't   wait and fired into  the  starboard   side  aircraft in the  Diamond  formation,  it blew  with out the  pilto  even getting to  scream.

 Shaow  was,,it seemed, purposefully  bringing his fighter around   to challenge Feng...

 there were  three left, Plus two Largrans from the  port comign Up  on Shadow's  6 and  3  SSN  novas  coming up on Kat's  6.


 Nikki and   Lizzy  each managed  , at elast pretty sure , to torch  two more .. they each felt  some  pulse rounds hit their aircraft.


 Billie and Machins   stayed  near  the  Perth-Hermes  'no man's land to try and Keep shuttles  from  reaching the hermes... Billie  torched on, Machins Got another fighter.

Nic saw the 5 fighters closing in behind Shadow and Kat's fighters and he gave a quick look to all of them. "Rue, take on the Novas and drag them towards Raven and Redfeather if you can. Stay safe." That meant Nic focused on the two Largrans and splitting the pair up. "Raven, this is Spartan. Might have a few flies on my wingman's tail. Swat them, if you can. I'm gonna distracted the Largran fighters." And he prayed to his ancestor's gods.

He glanced around his space to make sure there was no one else before jinking the stick towards the two Largran ships and started firing exclusively hard ammo at them since they were focused on Shadow, trying to hit where he thought the power module was. If he could take them out quick enough he could go help Rue. He hated it but if Shadow was gonna take on Feng, well he didn't need cheaters on his ass.

Goji and Bog continued hurling the well practiced circus that was the Gava squad.  Bog and Goji waited after to get through as that part or the stairs began to clear up. Jug pressed on, Onnu nearly at her hip.  She finally caught sight of the engines.  Jug smiled and yelled a bit and both Ju and Onnu gave ducking and rolling down the stairs and cannonballed to the bottom landing, quickly rolling to their feet.  A pile of the enemy scrambling to get to their feet to fight.  Jug flipped up and sliced one defenders left leg clean off at the knee as he rose, she thengave him a kick to the chest.  Onnu used a spear to pin one to the floor then ripped it out sideways taking a chunk of flesh with it.  Their focus on Jug and Onnu, they would not notice to more Gava barreling in the same way from behind.  Tamo and Uvuvu landing on their pile.  Keeping them busy Jug made a run for the engines.  Comming the Hermes asked best way to disable them safely.  "I have grenades and toasters...need to know best placements", by now the other Felrites mere on the floor including Hirr as well as Bog and Goji, and several Burians.  At the main operators board Jug looked at the panel and turned off all out going power, essentially flipping the engine to 'off'.  Then turning she produced a pistol and selectively picked out targets to kill, protecting it from the enemy regaining it and control of the ship.

   Nikki's   aircraft trailed Thick  Vapor she could see the  Hermes about  and to the  3:00 of The Perth.  all around them  AA guns were fiingh as auto guns  were shut down , and only the  human operated  weapons  fired, to lessen the chance  of  friendly fire.

 as   she Loked  she  saw  the Black and  white  fighters  with a smoking Candle on its  wings. followed by another  pair who had  Black and white  colors , but in differant patterns, they all had a smoking Candle on thier wings

  Red water  and Raven  were  comign down  as   Rue,, chewed up  at   fighter, its   portside   wing  broke off, and  surrender lights  when on as it spiraled  down away from the   conflict.

 Nic   got good  rounds into the trailing Largran,   Just as  Shadow  peeled    back  and Oved   the oncoming  'assassins' they  zipped past with  Nic  on thier  tail, the  dying   aircraft's  flames going out  as the Vaccum sucked away the atmo.

  Kat went   straight  for the  oncoming aircraft  and  did the Shadow Screw...she called into the  COMs,Va..yes... Spartan.. when is  spin, take fighters that go up, i take that goes down..da?.. the spin  caused the death of the Middle  fighter    as  one  went up  and one   went down, Kat, almost truned her  aircraft inside out to  follow the  downwards   fighter.

Zob took the moment to catch his breath as he put a few of the dying enemies out of their misery with aimed shots to the head, "Won't be long until another wave shows up be ready..."

Nic watched as Rue actually chewed up the Novas but then his concentration was on placing shots that took out the Largrans. His head lifted up as he looked at the near space and saw Kat's fighter. "Got'cha," was his response to Kat. He flexed the stick back, his fighter taking a drifting upward movement as Kat split up the two. He chased the one going up while Kat did the other and strafed it with pulses and hard ammo when he was sure. Only after that one was gone did he come around to spot the next target. "Kat, catch the shadow on shadow in a cross?"

 Lizzy got two babd guys she thinks, and as she was pulling down to see what else there was to hit, her and Nikki got hit hard. Nikki got hit the worse but Lizzy got her tail shot up good, and lost all elevator control, good thing they where in space or she would be fucked.


 Lizzy noticed Nikki getting hit hard. " Fury head for the Hermes I will cover you got my tail shot up but I can fight, lets get you home safe."  She then hits Comms for Fitz," I will escort Rutledge back then come back they got my tail but I can fight Fitz."

 Will  , Cora , Ellen  and maria   looked  down range. I think the Ambassador  things there is another way in?..or he is  worried  about the Passage way on the other side?

 With a Nod  , Will said,, they could send troops up through the first dec  Engine room  abd   cross over the   section void  with a burner and a Plate..

 Hemsly COMed   The Club's people, he could hear felrites  screaming thier   war  cries Right, ye wee  bugger, 'ere's what ye  do.. the  main control is on the  3rd dec  Engine section.. all kinds of  fancy dials an' gauges  an' such..there's one   part that  'as  a bunch of  levers..looks like a small metal forest on a table.. ye gotta pull them  all down until the lights go out..the lights  should be green... once you get  the lights ta go out, stick a couple toasters  on it... an' run!.. they won't be able to restart it, but we can fix it right fast enough.

Having dealt out some serious butt kicking so far Nikki was surprised to get part of her mantis shot out.  "Dammit!  Fire...some antique mayo stain just shot out an inertial dampener and part of my main coolant.  Leaking like sieve here" her voice was angry as she fought to get her craft under control "Think the hydraulic line too.  I'll have to land or pod." Her mantis was handling like a tungsten brick.  she managed to get her craft turned back towards the Hermes.  Now she was gonna be extra alert looking for incoming enemies.

Jug listened "Got it!" she then knew she was at the right panel, just did not draw down all the levers.  She did that now. Uvuvu and Onnu covering her.  In a few moments the room and engine hum began dwindling and whining. using her 'toasters she placed 2 in the required areas to blow.  She then yelled and ran for distance and cover for all "Fire in hole!!".  a few scant seconds later the whole panel blew up in sparks , flames, and smoke.

Lizzy knew her tail was shot up bad but luckily she didnt need the tail elevators in the black. Lizzy also Hailed the Hanger Dec of the Hermes," Hermes Hanger Dec Banshee is coming in badly damaged I am covering her prepare for a rocky landing, Phoenix out."

Roy grinned.  "Blow the locks.  We don't need to make a grand entrance, we just need enough space to let our traitor-mitigation team in there and we can come behind them in good order," he said, giving Larry and Hool a solid thump on the hip to mark exactly who he was referring to with the designation.

"You two don't have to kill everyone...just knock 'em down long enough to make sure we get a clearance to come in without taking a ton of fire.  Go in low and fast, as soon as that door opens far enough for you to get through."  He crouched down between the largs as he spoke, giving them a quick visual inspection to see how their armor was holding up.  They were obviously eager to go.  "Break 'em, we'll take care of killing them.  The faster and more brutal you can do it, the better..."  He'd sent Larry in with knock-them-down orders before...it usually ended with a lot of people writhing on the ground with larg-claw gouges up their torso, or broken limbs or ribs and other varieties of blunt-force trauma.

Rising, he addressed the gathering troops while the demo pair worked on the door.  "If you're shooting across the room, make sure you're aiming more than larg height.  No quarter on this one...you come across someone down, you make sure they stay down.  Don't get trigger-happy, I'm sure it's gonna be a target-rich environment but there's a lot of hard surfaces in there and I don't want stray shots ricocheting off bulkheads and creating friendly casualties.  No spray-and-pray, make sure you've got a target before you squeeze the trigger.  We go when the largs start moving."
