   Garrat sighs and looks down sadly, so the governments of four minorities have given up earth to be enslaved by the demon empire.”  He shakes his head. “Every where we go in the void, we see the Demons breaking contracts to infiltrate, subvert, and abandon other races.  And everyone we talk to like yourself go along with the horror of not caring about your fellow humans just for a bursts of perceived power before they are betrayed.”  Garrat switches from chip translation to learned if accented English.  “No demons are going to come to your rescue.  There are no fleets mobilizing to defend the station or earth.  We have broken them without feeding any of our people to our allies despite Demon propaganda otherwise.  Welcome whatever death that will grace you Mr. Feng, it will be a sweet release from the poison that burns in your heart and mind. 

   There was a bang as one of the CB Mechs dropped the ammunition bundles he was holding.  While unbroken or spilled it still made a lot of noise.  “Blasphemy!”  As the canopy lifted “The last Emperor of China was forced upon pain of death to abdicate by the roots of YOUR government in 1945.  He left peacefully only to be hunted down by the Soviets where he was presented like a prize goat to communistic China in 1947 where he suspiciously died in prison 18 years later.”
     His eyes bored into the prisoner.  “Any attempt by you traitors to claim a noble dynasty is a pathetic attempt to emulate your new masters.”

    “MR. GANG!”  Garrat voice cracked like a whip.  “Regardless of the words of a PRISONER, we are still guests on commander Si’s ship.  We will observe proper behavior as guests.”  Garrats voice softens, “If you wish to help, contacting your uncle might be wise.  The admiral might like having someone with his language skills and insight into the Chinese culture available.  We shall waste no more time on a deadman, if someone grants him a response to his playground rantings it should be your elder.”  Garrat walks back to his mech, and climbs in, “The IS has ships to repair and I should drop by and give Spencer a hand.  It will be interesting to see if he can use an oversized Swiss Army knife.”  Garrat pats his mech affectionately.”  He looks back at the command center.  “Is there anything you folk need before we shove off?”

“But master Wolfrim, it is NOT ancient history.  The heir still lives.”

“And I’m sure spitting it in the face of a man without the honor to die for his misguided principles or the intelligence to know he’s dead anyway makes things better?  Go back to the ship and make your call.  You are needed where you can make a difference.”

 Feng gives the person a sneer...

 The Admiral   simply gives   Garrat a twisted  smile,.. we are at the point, SGT Garrat, that we will take  the  Station and see what people there are to save... if the costs of taking the station  are too High, we will  withdraw  and pounding  it into buckshot. ... if there are people to save, they will be sent to The deltas, so they can start new lives, at least   until the time comes  to 'retake' Earth.

   An Evac  shuttle from the drop ship arrowed its  way towards the hermes... med techs  and Guardians  ran  down to get the wounded., there were was a pair of troopers  from the drop ship  as  well as  henry  and  a few other   Assault team people..

   Captain Morris  Pointed  at  Giles.....You there?  The  Young Chap... Take the Dog over  by the   warroom.. remove her suit, and make sure she isn't  wounded, then take her to  the med tech...

Roy shrugged in response to Hemsly's comment.  "There's an old, OLD song...like, centuries old, now...said something along the lines of, "You can't always get what you want, but if you try real hard, you just might find you get what you need."  The Empire's losing their base.  They've got a brand new credibility gap they have to try and cover.  The SSN lost an entire Fleet, plus all the support craft for the station.  We may not have gotten what we want...but we're definitely walking away on the plus side.  I wouldn't even call it a pyrrhic victory...it's a solid win."

He winced slightly as the shuttle touched down.  "Not the victory we wanted...but I'll take it."

Zob took a deep breath as the shuttle set down on the dec, "Glad to be back..." When the shuttle doors opened he took a step out onto the dec anyone looking could see he had pulse burns everywhere and his armor was in literal shambles but still he smiled his demonic smile, "Somebody bring a chair next to the static field please!" he shouted as he placed his heavy weapon and destroyed armor on a tray to be hauled away back to the Quartermasters.

When they landed Kira released from the shuttle and promptly moved back to the mech area and powered down, after a moment she hopped on out of the seat, "Its gonna need a lot of work..." she said to the techs before addressing them again, "I just want to let you all know, I'm very proud of every single one of you... for the next 2 days all food and drink on the rec dec are on me" She then went over and started making a pot of coffee at her workstation desk.

 The Admiral   watched the wounded get off, some were sent  straight  to med tech.. Others  went  for the drinks and eats table. CE-VA limped off, The Admiral looked at her..You lose your Camera?

 She pointed at Shade  and gave a hard look. Shade looked at The Admiral , held  out  his  hands and shrugged.

 I suppose i'll have to wait  for the LC  to Come back to hear the whole  story.

 even as he spoke  the  fighters were comign in for   a landing, they were scorched  and battered , and there  weren't as many as they started out  with.

  Hack pointed to the COMs  and beth Opened   ALL COMs...Memebers  of the  Fleet...and people on The  Nest-Station....   Returning to the shuttle Bay while  many of the folks lined up to watch the end of the station.

  Shadow was the last to land He tossed his  Helmet to Argie, who shook his head, seeing the hole   and the   severed O2 lines at the back port of the cockpit.

 Sneal ran over to him with a Soda  and a sandwich, Shadow thanked her and smiled.. Dana  was making her  way  to the bay doors with a  tray of  sandwiches  and  drinks.

 Shadow   nodded , taking deep breaths of  air..the  sealant  closed  a bit of the hole, so i would turn the O@ opn for a bit, then shut it off and breath  until i was dizzy and do it again... I was just flying over  watch, so it was no big deal

 No Sir,..i'm hoping some landed on other  ships

 Captain Morris shook his head  with a frown,we only had three or  4 that landed here for  re-arm. None  came here execpt  for a few of  our damaged aircaft...Rutledge is in  Med tech, rather Nasty  bit of a landing.. a few others..Med tech has been bloody busy...

 Shadow looked  around  for Roy and Shade..he saw Melia   running to med tech along  side an assault team member who was on a hover  Cart

 Larry padded up to  Shadow   with Puskie  chasing  after him, Shadow  waved  him off , got   down on a kneed to let the   Larg greet him, the proceeded to get  the  Larg  boarding  suit off...

Puskie truned  back  to  help  Roll and  Disna  unsuit the others... Shadow  gave Larry half his sandwich, then stood to watch  the  shelling  , as Hack was ready to give the word.

chairs were brought up for the wounded  who weren't bad off  and wanted to see the  shelling

Nic landed his fighter and honestly, out of the lot of them, his might have been the least damaged of them all just due to pure and utter luck. There was a few holes but it hadn't effected him and the LC had took a few heavy hits to shield the rest it seemed. Once he was out and his feet on the Dec, someone handed him a sandwich and a drink. He didn't care at that point what it was and took a bite as he moved over towards where Shadow was. From there he watched as the fleet utterly decimated the station that had taken such a toll on them. Just how many did they loose? The fighters, there were far less of them now and he wondered if anyone else was hurt. "How many are we down now?"

 Lizzy landed with the others and once she was down she parked in her berthing. Her fighter was beat up but it got the job done. Lizzy got out of her fighter handed her gun cam disc to Captain Morris and then walked over to LC, Nic and added, Hey LC that was a rough one, Yes Nikki is in Med Tech no word on her yet.  She will also notice a lot of pilots missing.

 Meari got off the shuttle with Izzy and said, Please go to med tech and have that checked ok Ens Sakura Meari then got a drink and sandwich and watched the shelling she looked too see if Captain Traitor was still here and alive.

   “This is the IS, we have a couple of lost souls to drop off before going out and pod hunting some more.  Would you like us to use your cargo bay and keep your flight deck free?”

   Captain Morris  answered.....The Hold is....occupied  for a Bit... send over anyone you have to the Stern  Most door...

   Shadow turned to Look a Nic   as he  took a deep drink from his soda,we're missing half  our  Birds....a couple pilots  are in the  Med tech....we'll have to see if  the fleet collected  any strays...seeing how we didn't pick any up, this  close to the station... well....

 Captain Morris  looked to  Shadow as he finished a COM...our Guests  are in  the Hold... things are, almost set up, for your lesson in diplomacy...

Shadow  smiled and Looked at Feng.....you may or may not enjoy my  class, Fengy...but at least you only have to take it once..

 Feng, tried to sneer, but whether it was the  troubled look in Morris's  Eyes. The stern Nod  Hack  gave Sad, or Shadow's dark, half smile.,,he seems to think better of it.

 I want Cora  and Ellen with me down there.. they have  back round  on this... and I need 2- 4  Volunteers... Beth for COMs... Shade, and  any offciers   higher grade then myself... I intend to use  Vid examples, plus  we will have some hands on group work to do..i think it will be somewhat  , enjoyable.

Nic frowned at Shadow's answer. "I know it was rough but I had the luck of the gods on my ass apparently. I came in to rearm around the time Nikki had that spectacular landing here. We are loosing good pilots to this. Where we going to get more that won't bite it after first engagement?" And Liz stated the obvious which made him smile faintly. She was always upbeat at least. He couldn't fault her that.

Like the rest, his attention turned to Feng a moment, the attempt at a sneer making him shake his head. "You might wish you went out like the Vice Admiral did, Mr. Feng." He turned away to watch the rest of the station being crippled. So many lives lost and he asked that the gods forgive the innocents deaths.

Walking off of the shuttle with a downcast expression, Izzy would nod her head in agreement to Meari's suggestion that she got her injury checked out, her hand already clamped to her side "ok...but you're coming with me" she said indicating Meari's injuries. Technically the woman shouldn't have even been on the hangar dec let alone on an assault team, not that Izzy was going to tell on her "...oh and feel free to call me Isobel, or Izzy we're not in the field anymore" she added as she started heading for med tech.

It was as she was on her way that she would spot Nic and make a slight detour over to him "Hey Nic...um...I don't know if anyone has told you already but...Harry is in med tech, she was hurt pretty badly during the fighting" she explained, knowing that Nic had been spending a lot of time with her lately and so deserved to know what was going on. With her message delivered she carry on walking to med tech, keeping her eye out for Lizzy along the way.
