The gava helped clean up the Hangar dec waiting for Jug to return.  Finally Bog okayed them to head for the rec dec. If he heard anything he would let them know.

 Looking out at  The Black, the  3 sections of the Fleet, separated   into lines, so thier  dead could be released  with out  getting in the way of  others...there would be a cloud of sorts  for a  day or two, until all the  bodies  went on thier  own trek  in The Black.

  Hennings  was the First of  the brass to come down.. he  was given a donut and coffee as he stood  with Rivets , Shadow and  Morris.

Henry turned up with Mila and Can (and Val if she wanted to come). He'd slept soundly but still felt tired. He'd also rounded up any largs who'd come back to BioTech and marched them along too.

  Larry was with Roy... The other  Largs  had been 'dressed up' in the Larg Tunics  that held thier awards.

  Val stood   next to henry... Roll had come  down from his  home, he had fixed himself up rather well, with Sneak fussing over his  'unifrom' before letting him stand  with the   largs  and  henry. Puskie and  Disna  wore thier  Nivarian Dress unifroms, with the  markings of being attached to the ESN

  Nikki  and  Mitch were comign down the  Rampway to the  lifts.  The Board  passed them,  The Admiral gave  Nikki  a smile.....good to see you could make it , Rutledge... there was a chuckle, we may have to see about you getting disposable aircraft!

  Captain Si gave  him a  'wife like' slap on the shoulder  and they continued.

  The  words ' Admiral on Dec"  echoed through the hanger   with  the Admiral signaling  for people to be at  ease... they reached    mobile ladder  and talked to  The others there, as  the   red dec  ladies    got the trays of  shot glasses  ready.

Sam came off the lifts with Beth and went to her staging area and helped Beth get set up for the Send Off. She smile dat Oria when she was sent over by Zob, she smiled at the Demon who once made her have flashbacks of her captivity but has proven to be a force for the Hermes.

 As Sam was setting up she saw Howe in his battered uniform using a crutch, she smiled and a tear of joy rolled out of her eye as she saw with her own eyes he was alive and recovering. She would help Beth get set before she went to say hi to Howe.

Kira arrived with Morgan she was in full dress for the send off, as she headed down the ramp she opted to take a place close to the rest of her team, she was quiet as she looked upon the black bags.

 Meari finished her donut and went over and looked at the bags of the fallen troopers, she didnt know Madsen personally but she saw him and heard a lot about him. In front of the bags Meari went to one knee and then said in Udenese a powerful prayer for the honored fallen and their sacrifice. Once she was done she gave a warriors salute to all the Fallen, she then stood up and headed over towards the troopers again.

  Arnie   Gave  Billie a quick  kiss on the forehead, and  moved off to stand  with the support people.

 The Pilots  were lined up, in a relatively military Fashion.  Trooper s  were gathered together. as  were   The  Hanger techs  and  Mech  people, Jax stood  towards  the end of the troopers, so he  would be close to Sneak.. on the other side of the support people  sat the  larg Unit. and the handlers, along with henry  and his  furry-larg.

 getting  rid of his  coffee up, The Admiral mounted the stairs  with the Mic. Beth Signaled  the Honor  Guard and the marched from the SEC Until they  made u[ between  C and D  flight's berths, moving until they stood at the  stern end of the  Bags. The ESN Flag and  APF  flag were settled into stands.

  Shipmates......Fleetmates..and  Federation Comrades... This is the most sad, duty  perform. Where as The After party, is our  way of celebrating a hard won battle, and   The lives of those  we lost. This, Is the Fleet's  final, formal, function...The sending off

  when the song ended  the  Dec Boss  lifted the plates  and the Bodies and backs  slipped out  onto their   Journey..

 Shoey gave the  Commands.. Each trooper fired   3  shots  on command... the  bodies  were out of  view in a few minutes.

Billie gave Arnie a partial smile at the kiss and moved into her position though trying to see if she could stand near Machins if he is there. She listened quietly to the speech and took a shot of Vodka when it was brought around and held it up. "Don't wait for us!" she  said in unison with the others before downing the drink. Even after placing the glass back upon a tray, she watched the procession grimly, this time feeling more than a little uncomfortable...but that was due to the fact that as it was pointed out...they were fighting other humans. In the other battles...it had been a little easier because they were alien...but this time...

 Sam took a vodka shot and listened to the Admiral as he spoke. Sam held her glass responded," DON"T WAIT FOR US."   she downed her shot , then watched and listened as the bodies where sent on their final journey.   Sam lowered her head for the ones who gave the ultimate sacrifice to win this war.

Nic had brought Harry down, her arm in his and stood there with them. He stood at attention with the rest and while he remained quiet, when the LC spoke he lifted the shot up in salute before downing it. Then he lifted his hand up in a salute as the bodies floated out into the Black. His hand didn't lower till after the guns had fired and the bodies had faded into the darkness so he could no longer see them.

They were all due his sober respect for making the final sacrifice even if he didn't know them or get a chance to know any of them. With it or on it. Each and every last one of them had returned upon their shield. The Vice Admiral he had shot, those fighters with him, had dropped theirs and ran like cowards and died like it. He was content with things.

 Lizzy , Haley and Izzy got on the Hanger Dec right before the Admiral began talking. Lizzy and Izzy brought Haley over to Nikki who sent her to go with Roll, Lizzy was happy to see Nikki, she was going to talk but the ceremony began. Lizzy went with the pilots, she gave Izzy a hug and a cheek kiss as she left.

 Lizzy knew they had been fighting mostly humans this time and it was harder, but Lizzy didnt see them as human anymore if they agreed with or participated in a loyalty dinner. Lizzy then took a whiskey shot, and responded," DON'T WAIT FOR US!!!!." Lizzy then listened to the song and then watched as the fallen where sent out into the black.

 This was a hard one, Nikki and Harry got hurt bad, she saw Nikki, she was wondering if the NEW Harry would come to a Send Off. She would stay silent and think of the people who have died or been severely injured in her life. Her Mom, and her Father, Carl, Nikki, Harry, even Izzy was hurt severely on her face. Lizzy was starting to think she might be a bad luck charm, but Billie was very thankful for Lizzy helping her out. No matter how hard she tried she couldnt hold her tears remembering the fallen, tears fell as she watched the bodies go into the Black.

Kira joined in with the others, "Don't wait for us!" she then downed the shot and placed the glass on a empty tray and watched as the bodies were sent into the black a small tear escaped her eye as she remembered when she had to watch her father take that same journey.

Jug and the remaining Gava came to see Tamu off, only Onnu still in Med Dec did not attend per injuries.  The took time to place Gavan spirit items such as his bow And arrows, as well as spear with him.  His medals placed correctly and the coin each Gava of Hermes tied prominently before the final closing.  They saluted and returned to their spot for the final send off.

As the ceremony began and they received their drink when called they returned the hail "Don't wait for us" and downed the drink.

With her hand resting within the crook of Nic’s elbow, the pair of them would walk across the hangar dec and join the others for the ceremony selecting a shot of water which she would quickly empty onto the tray as she stated rather simply to the server ”It’s bad luck to toast with water where I come from” and she wasn’t about to take an alcoholic shot considering she was on the wagon. When it came time to make the toast she would raise her glass with the others and say the words ”Don’t wait for us!” leaving her arm extended as the others drank before lowering it again and watching as the dead made their final journey into the Black.

   when the  bodies where Gone. The Honor Guard   picked  up the Flags. before they  went. The Admiral  called out...

  I have some  announcements. then you may all retire to the red dec  for a brunch ...of sorts.... regular duty times  stat as  of 1200 hours...

Nic glanced at Harry briefly as CE-VA came over and then motioned to Shadow. Harry would feel him tense slightly at the Angel's words then relax again. It was apparent that he was far from use to being in the spotlight. He tensed just as Shadow whopped him so he didn't get knocked around and chuckled a little. Turning his attention back to CE-VA, he straightened up. "The LC's right. The Vice Admiral called him out in a fight with 10 fighters at first. We all knew he had more hiding. There was just 6 of us and the LC. LC speared them, scattered them and we shot down the 10 pretty quickly. Another 20 I believe came up around the station to join the fight."

Nic gave a slight shrug. "Someone took a shot at me that went wide and I shot back, tore the fighter up pretty good in retaliation. Hit the control system because it was moving sluggish after. They tried to hit me again and missed and I tore him up then went to help mop up the rest that stuck around. I might have gotten the Vice Admiral but the others ripped through almost 30 fighters by themselves." He smirked. "If the Vice Admiral was the best they had, I hate to say that wasn't challenging."
