With their excitement apparently not going unnoticed Izzy would look rather embarrassed as she came under the combined scrutiny of Hermes officer corps ”sorry I…um…just kind of needed to tell someone” she added to Sam’s apology deciding that they’d best leave any further planning and discussion for later.

 Sam lowered her head and just replied," Yes Sir." and she turned back around and went back to work. Sam smiled at Izzy as she did her work.

 Captain Morris  Moved off to Find Nagy and   get a support team ready.

 Rivets , moved off as well, to make sure  the deck was clear,  he already had crew taking   scrap metal  down to  the forge.

  Roll and Gregor  stay   by the  tables, Gregor  was starting to nod off... Roll was trying hard  not to fall asleep.

  Beth  stood up, stretched her back a bit... she said  to Orria  , Samand   Izzy...should be  quiet for a while.  why don't you ladies  go and get some sleep, maybe  make something hot to eat in your quarters.. the rec dec will be closed until we're sure there is no ship to ship action.

 Sam smiled checked her gear and then replied, " Thank you Beth, yes I could use some sleep and a hot meal." Sam then got up smiled at the Board who was still there and said to Izzy," Want to hang out in my quarters for a bit eat something and then you can head back and get some rest?"

Tiredly rubbing her eyes, Izzy would nod in response to Sam’s offer, preferring to have her company than sitting alone in her quarters ”Sure, sounds good to me” she said, removing her headset and getting to her feet, collecting her carbine from where it was propped and slinging it over her shoulder.

With her console powered down and gear collected she would follow Sam to the lifts and then her quarters so they could relax and catch up for a bit before calling it a day.

 Sam smiled at Izzy, and got all her stuff together as well as her pulse rifle. Sam smiled at Beth and then headed for the lifts with Izzy.

    The  morning came  early on the Hanger Dec... Beth  had a  made a few trips to the SEC  to wash up and  switch out  tunics, but her  hair  was 'sort of' brushed, and her  eyes  stone cold, and , sullen as she watched  the screens
 Roll and gregor slept under the Scaffold, Sneak fell asleep near them , as Roll refused to 'leave his Post'

 Morris and  had a cup of tea from his ched...Rivets a  cup of  coffee  from the  big machines the ladies  set up.. they looked at Sneak, Roll and  Gregor..

 we're bloody doin' it  wrong.....

 How  so?

 we should  Just  fill out the troopers  with  Sten Kids... be a bleedin' massacure, with them attackin'  the  Empire... ain't never saw a stem kid who wasn't all about his  pack, and  ain't never seen one scared...

 we should pass  that up the chain.

 Hennings   broke hi as he slurped his  coffee...I've heard worse  idea....  the  three men laughed.

 Orria came   down.. she  had a  dish and there was a  squashed  egg on it.. she held it out  for  beth,

 what's  this?

 I made you a   hot breakfast..I heard My Mom say about soft boiled  eggs.I  wrapped it in a   cloth  and Boiled the water......

  Beth smiled , tiredly Thank you, I am  Hungary

 It was still early when Sam came down to the Hanger Dec, she smiled at everyone and said, " Before I take my post does anyone need anything that I can get them?" Sam smiled as she placed her pulse rifle at her desk.

After Getting the  COM done with the Admiral... Beth  Called out...Sakura...CE-VA..get your gear.. a  shuttle  will be coming  from Clara Barton to  take you down....

 Beth looked at   Issy, using   Cora's nick name...keep your  head  gear on , Stir fry...

Haley stayed with Sneak and Roll, as well as Gregor.  Strange thing was Haley snored slightly.  'Add-noise', Haley said that was what Nikki told her.  She said it was nothing to worry about as many kids had it.  Any how she used her backpack as a pillow and her coat for a blanket.

Arriving not long after Sam, Izzy would set her helmet and carbine down by her console and begin setting things up. After what had happened yesterday it was unlikely they would be boarded but she’d arrived in armour all the same, mainly because she wouldn’t have time to change should be proven wrong.

She was in the process of resetting a couple of units under her desk when she told that she was informed that she was going planet side with CE-VA, blushing slightly at the mention of keeping her headgear on ”Will do, Lizzy would kill me if I didn’t” Izzy replied grabbing her headgear and carbine from where she’d left them and heading down from the tower to wait for the incoming shuttle ”I guess I’ll see you ladies later” she called, waving to Sam and Beth as she went.

  the shuttle left... Orria   says... beth?..I got  bad guy dots moving  fast..but? they aren't on the camera thing?  I checked  the  connections..twice.

 The tried   Beth Looked annoyed at the screens, thinking there was something  was  wrong...then she  asked   Sam.Sam?...  use  Izzy's  station..  flip through Spectrum... until you find something...

 Admiral Hennings, Captain Si..we  may have a problem on E-1

 Hennings Jogged  across the    hanger  dec, for the 100th time , wishing  this was a destroyer ,rather then a  cap ship

 Sam switched to the different spectrums, and she found a lot of odd, shaped fighters heading to each beach head. Sam quickly turned and said," Sirs, I have located a lot of odd shaped fighters heading to each beachhead."

  Beth frowned  as she looked at Sam's   screen...  She Got  on All  COMs.

  This is  LT Morrow  ESN  351  Hermes..all ships, fighters, armor... shift scans to Purple  spectrum..there are thopudands of    fighters   using  Valleys   to  come down on  every single beach head..... I'll say this  to  no one is waiting for orders.... when yo9u see them...Kill them....

 already dones  flowed  through  the  Channels...Good Job Ladies..  Lets  Home  we weren't too late..

 Sam smiled at Beth she hoped they gave everyone enough time. Sam replied," Thank you Beth, at least we gave then some warning."

 Sam heard Lizzy's report of fighters hovering like they were waiting for something. Sam then did a deep multi spectrum scan of the wreck and the mountain, something wasnt right this was a trap but she had to figure out what the big spring was, they hadn't hit it yet. Sam used all her skills to see if she could figure out or find anything. Sam would also try to pick up any enemy comms using every trick she knows and what she learned from Beth.

Though early the noise was picking up.  It woke Haley up.  The floor was hard, but it was okay.  She stretched a bit trying not to disturb anyone.  From what she saw the fighting was still going on.  Getting her sneakers on she grabbed her jacket and backpack.  after looking again, she knew where the bathroom was and went to at least wash her face and hands, get the sleep out of her eyes.  She put some water on her hair and tried to straighten it to put in a ponytail again.  Her arms and hands were not as coordinated as Nikkis, but she tried.  She got it a bit detangled, and the ponytail was to one side by her ear.  she cleaned up like Nikki taught her, gathered her things and went to where Sneak was, her stomach growled.  she was thirsty too.  That she could take care of, she had a juice bottle she opened it and drank.  Nothing like apple juice in the morning...tasted like victory.

  a Med tech shuttle was  coming across the way. A med tech and  two Guardians  stepped down the   ramp...

 another  woman, came last looking around.   Stefi looked to  Captain Morris...That one, is one of mine..... maybe she  and   screw a few heads on tighter... she started walkign to the shuttle.. Morris followed with a Vidboard...

 wrong ship for that, eh? Wot?

"I like a challenge," Alison responded with a loose sort of gesture.

"And when all else fails, I know how to make a mean martini." 

She was eager to get oriented, get her bearings, begin to learn some of the faces and names around her new workplace.  She liked to keep her mind fed. And whatever else, this gig surely wasn't going to be boring...

 Stefi    and CAptain  Morris  waited  at the  Bottom of the ramp. The  Older Black man , witha limp, and  cane , tok  the disc  from the other..entered them  and returned them.

When  Alison  reached them, Captain Morris  held his hand out for her Disc.

 Lt Verault?  I am  LT Stefi Simmons. I am Chief Med tech for the Hermes.. This is Captain  Morris. he is the Adjutant , and helps  get people settled in as well as hlp the LC  with the  fighter wing

 she motions for   one of the Ground crew to take  Alison's  bags to Captain Morris's  Shed.

 As you know, we are in the middle of a Jump Off here.. E-1  and E-2  were supposed to have been fully in the   arms of the ESN and APF... It looks like both planets have  squatters, and we are working to evict them. When this is over, Captain Morris  can take you to his shed, and   get your  quarters and such aligned . Come with me.. I'll Introduce you to the   Flag officers who are still on board.

Alison handed the captain the requested Disc.  "A pleasure to meet and serve with you, sir."  Then turning to Lt. Simmons:

"With the both of you. And yes, I understand the situation.  At least the gist of it.  I look forward to meeting the onboard Flag officers, lieutenant," she said, and began walking once the other woman did.

  walking across the   almost, half mile, of the Dec.. A tall , barrel chested   , red Haired   Man Stopped  Captain Morris.. ready to ask him something...

 Morris   said...Ahh.. while you are here... LT  Verault? This is Captain O'Rielly, he's  in charge of the Hanger   dec,  and Such.. Shamus? this is  Lt Verault  she's come aboard to fill a ...somewhat..empty seat int he  Med tech offering?

 Captain O'Rielly over  his hand,Rivets  is good  enough, if  ye  perfer.... we  'ave  alot of Movin' parts on  the 'anger Dec.....no smoking on me Dec!

 Sam monitored her screens and the comms. She did she the med tech shuttle land way down the hanger dec and she saw Stefi, Morris and Rivets talking to a new Lt, she was medical. Sam kept an eye on them but did pay attention to her work.

She shook his hand, "Pleased to meet you, captain.  I'm not a smoker, no worries there. And in general, life has lots of moving parts." She smiled. "I make it a practice to watch out for those that might take my head off."   

 Rivets    smiled , he  stuck and Unlit  , well chewed cigar  stub in the side of his  mouth as he Said  to  Captain Morris...LC  says they lost some   folks.. also lost a couple   aircraft, and need some new rides..kin ye  grt 'em for  'im?

 Of Course.. I  wil get beth to send the  COM  when we get to the Scaffold..

  Stefi smiles ..Rivets and the QM chew cigars... if  you ever see some one  'ight up' the better  be standing by the static field... if  they  aren't. they may end up on the wrong side of the static field..

  reaching the scaffold...Admiral Hack likes to be near his people..so rather the  use the war room on  Offcier's dec.. they set this up..   That  woman with the Multicolored hairs  Is LT Beth Morrow... she is   Chief COM Tech on th hermes...The small woman is  Lt Sam Robertson..she's On Loan  from the Burian  Fleet.

 the Little Human Girl is  Orria..she was saved from being  being sent to a Demonic larder ship..she is the Adopted  daughter Of Meila Kristensen..who is  on loan to the med  tech ships...she is the foster daughter..Of Zob..or resident   2nd Gen Demon.

  Gregor's head Pops  out from under the scaffold.. a Boy, about  8 or so in a ESN  in 'unifrom' with a LargMaster   patch comes out..he  wears a Bayonet that has been fashioned into a sword... with Him is a Little Human Girl

 Stefi smiles.. Gregor's  tail thumps up and down.This  Is  Roll..he was a stem Kid , and Now   a  'Larg Master Cadet"... That little larg is his...Cadet Larg gregror..we have   other largs, but they are on the planet eating people right now..

 This litle Lady is  Haely. She is the ward of   Ensign Niki Rutledge... she was  pulled from an ESN  ship.. either was going to end up  going to a larder ship..or  become a Loyalty feast meal.

 Beth Calls down...Kinda Busy?.. but when  this  is all done, make sure you come to the After Party!

 Sam waved at Alison and said," Hello Lt. nice to meet you, Communications, information and tech specialist. Yes, I am here temporarily, and it is nice to meet you Lt." Sam had her light boarding armor on which looked very new, but Alison could see the nasty scars on Sam's wrist.  Sam then went back to work on her screens and the comms.
