  Hennings, Morris and Rivets  Joined    beth  on the scaffolds as she was set to tune in the Command  Post. Captain Si   and General Bale, would  join in from the Bridge.

  half the dec  crew  where cleaning  Rivet's  dec from spills  , metal shavings  and the like. The other half   were loading   Belts to have on hand for reloads.

 Roll sat on the  Dead.. one sandwich being  fed to Gregor. the other he ate. He was hungry, because he didn't want to eat  until all the 'fighting people' ate.

After walking onto the dec with Lizzy, smiling and giggling like an excited schoolgirl, Izzy would return her fiancé’s kiss and wishing her luck before they parted ways and she headed to the tower to help out with any remaining work. Still grinning from ear to ear, Izzy would take a seat next to Sam ”Hey Sam, so…um…don’t spread this around because I’m not sure how Lizzy wants to handle telling people…” no that was a lie, Izzy knew full well that Lizzy was probably shouting that they were getting married at the top of her lungs as she spoke ”…but, I asked Lizzy to marry me…and she said yes!” Izzy said clearly excited to be telling someone the good news ”…also I’d like you to be my maid of honour…or best man…um…I’m not sure how this works, but please say you’ll come!”

 Sam was double checking comms, and getting everything squared away, when Izzy came back with a huge smile on her face. Sam smiled and was very happy for Izzy and replied," Ok I can keep a secret Izzy I am a comms officer I have many secrets. That is amazing Izzy and am so happy for you." Sam was wondering when Izzy would get up the nerve to ask Lizzy.

 Sam could tell Izzy was very excited and when Izzy asked her question Sam was so happy and excited, she yelled out ," Yes I will accept Izzy, I am so happy for you two." Sam was a little embarrassed as she smiled at Izzy and went back to her comms.

Despite Sam turning back to her station Izzy would throw her arms around her in a hug when she said she would come to her wedding as her maid of honour ”oh thank you Sam, that means so much to me! We should go and grab a drink when we get off shift…I…I still can’t believe she actually said yes” Izzy said in an excitable voice before turning back to her own station and trying to get what little work they had remaining tidied away ready for the morning.

Haley told Sneak she had to get her backpack from the Dr. Christies, then began skipping to go get it.  After a bit she returned with her backpack and set it to the side behind the table.  Sitting down she waved at Roll and Gregor.

 Can walked   back to Val, to the  Lab. He waved to Haley  as they walked  away.

  Roll  sat  by gregor , drinking a drink and waved to Haley, Gregor was curled up  , half  asleep.

 with Sam  and Izzy  fussing about. Rivets  would look at Hennings , who looked at Morris. Morris   just shrugged and gave  a shake of his head.

 Beth  Opened  he  main screen, The Admiral was there..Maybin is setting up out link..wanted to test it  before the Meeting. about 20 minutes  before  the  squad leaders  and LC  get here...I have some ideas  i  want to bounce around before   it  turns into a hard
 plan

 Nagy  and  some of the newer folks  walked the perimeter, Picking up scarp metal that might  be found to toss into   the bins, to be taken to the  forge to make more plates.

some  of the dec crew were making bets  on how many kills people  would end up with , when this  Jump off  was finished.

 Sam giggled at Izzy and said," Of course Izzy it would be my Honor, so who is the 'bride' and who is the 'groom' or are you both brides? I knew she would say yes, she loved you from the first time she met you, it was in her eyes."


 Sam cleared her throat to Izzy and looked at the Admirals and said," Sorry Sirs, Izzy just got engaged, and we got a little excited."

  Hennings    snorted...that's fine... we'll just COM the bugs  and tell them we need a few minutes, because  some one lost  track that we were in the Middle of a Jump off?

  Captain Morris looked  neutral, he wasn't pleased at the action, nor did he  see Offended.

 Beth  gave a  slight smile... when Hennings  was  talking to The Admiral..she leaned ...you guys are  still new? But  there are somethings  that need to wait until 'after'...The After party would have been perfect.

With the question of where he was assigned for the night answered, Karl finished his sandwiches and downed the soda as his crew buttoned up the Morningstar again.  Explaining the assignment to them (and to Ed, at the same time), he climbed in and buttoned up and was off the deck and out through the screens in short order, taking a slowly descending spiral on his way down to avoid creating excessive heat on the skin of the plane and turning him into a shooting star that might attract attention from the ground.  All the sensors were keyed downward, relying on Hermes to warn him if airspace became contested by anyone from outside the atmosphere.

A few instructions to Ed about notifying him of anomalies later, he settled back and relaxed as best he could.  The Morningstar was hardly spacious...but he'd spend extended times in it before.  Spending a night flying patrols over a planet would be nothing after all the time he spent in the cockpit getting out of the Sol System and setting up a rendezvous with the Hermes.
