Larry  Snorted,  the other 'big' Larg  looked up at Justin, staring at him for a  Moment  then went back to eating. Freddie looked over, at Justin, but he was used to seeing the pilot  around,

 Larry just looked at the Tins that were set out for the largs. each larg had a  Meat  Tein with their  Names   painted on, except  for the two Larg Pups  shared a Tin. Even Mila had her own, that had  smaller   bones  then the    big weight bearing  bones the LArgs   could crush up.. Larry's   Tim was still about  hlaf fu7ll,    , he nodded his head to  that tin, But his eyes  were on the newer LArgs, to make  certain they weren't  lookign to take from other Largs.

Noticing each of the Largs, save the pups, had their own eating tins Justin gave his chin a thumb rub. Sending Roll a com Justin asked if he could donate meal tins for the pups individual use.

 Justin got a COM Text back...Hi Mr  Kase....  they just  make  the Tins out of  old   Food  container.. the  Pups  are kinda  small.. I guess   you could  ask  Disna?

Justin sent Rolls a grateful reply then contacted Disna asking if it was possible to make up some smaller tins for the Larg pups(cubs)

 Disna   waved    Justinto over to the far end of  the Larg   line.  PUskie  held Rae, as she   gobbles   fat and  cuttings  from the  Tin, Disna  held Thor, who was , slightly Bigger.

 we would really only need  one more tin... most of the  em0pty  Tins  get sent to the forge  to be melted down.. , they are   a bit small, to reach these  tins, but...if we  make them different they the other  Largs , there may be some resentment?

 Ellen  looked at Mann, who  decided to study his burger, she turned back to  Tarja,so? what are the chances of us, testing  AI  armor on the PG?  it would be  a nice thing to  go running aroudn withpout slamming into a  fighter or bulkhead? I am very Interested, The SM said its  my choice .... but i would like to have a feel of it , out in the open?

 Lizzy got a little lost in her food and when the others said they would meet up later Lizzy smiled and then headed for the Sims to maybe get a mission in before they got there, whoever was coming.

 Meari walked onto the Rec Dec wearing her duty uniform and her normal weapons. Meari saw Tarja talking to Ellen and Mann, Meari ordered some food and drink and headed for the table, once there she smiled at everyone and said," Hello do you mind if I join you, what did I miss?"

 Ellen  Nodded  with a  smile  to  Meari, Mann gave he  a  half smile and a nod  as well.I'm thinking  of  Joining the AI... we  were Just talkig  about the chance  to maybe   do some running around on the Playground, when we go to their  showcase.

Shadow, Roll,  Dusk, Flores  and  Shade  were at  the LC's table  talking.

Tarja was in the process of considering Ellen’s request when Meari came over to join them, asking what she’d missed ”not much” Tarja replied, with Ellen going on to explain that she was thinking of transferring over to their unit ”so long as brass is happy to ship our suits down I see no reason why you, or anyone else interested can’t go for a run in the suits…truth be told it would do unit good to train on planet whilst we have opportunity” she said, glancing across at Meari to see what she thought before continuing ”…perhaps we could train alongside marines, yes?” she said suspecting that both branches would benefit from the experience ”…so do either of you have questions you would like to ask?”

 Ellen just shakes her head  as she askes,Now  really?   except for , when  do i start real training as an AI trooper.

 Mann    was  dipping  a  fry..many, many times, in his  ketchup, Never looking up...he  says   a bit coldly.There isn't  anyone  on board the ship, who can't  get killed...  I saw  Captain Si carrier off  a shuttle when the Nivairans  ambushed us in a fake treaty. Losing  her  child  and any chance of  having one... I have seen the Admiral  wounded  and  fighting shoulder to shoulder with us  Troopers... I have seen the LC and his people  swoop it  and strafe the 9 hells out of  enemies that should have over run us..and i have seen them POD out  and have to fight there  way to us... I saw wrecks  of Tanks on Astra, Aqra  and  Roussa, knowing , not  every crewman got out  alive

you folks?  are the bridge between Mechs  and Troopers... Ecispian  Blades...and  most enemies   trooper class  heavy Pulse , may or may not  bring you dowm..fighter  class  Heavy Pulse  should? I dunno..Largrans  use  hard  Ammo . Me? if  i was a bad guy and  i was attacked  by AI.. i would  take out their  legs first..almosy like  Taking out a Mech

 Shade  says  , he thinks you are  goignto be. For me?   I see the largs  really  like you, and when i tried to  Get Rex  and his  unit on our  side.. i realized, that not all Largs are the same.. I really thought i was going to get   eaten/... there is alot to say about luck!

Roll looked at  Shadow , Sagely,Disna, Puskie and  me  watched  the  guncam vids..to see what the  other  Largs were  doing?... You killed   and wounded   the bad  Guys, and you talked to them... Disna  said, they could have  eaten you...but they realized  you were not a bad guy to them... Puskie  said, They new you were a bad  guy....to the bad guys..so they went with you... Larry... well.. Disna  thinks  sooner or later   Rex  is going to challenge  Larry to be  the  Prime larg... I don't think  Rex  can beat larry.

 Tarja would listen as Mann spoke, with her having heard some his arguments before from other people in the past, with her raising a single brow in response to his final question ”Do you even need to ask? Do you leave your wounded comrades behind? No, we would recover wounded comrade and get them out of danger” she calmly replied, not really feeling the need to answer such an obvious question with her instead deciding to answer his other ”don’t think of AI as small mechs, think of us as fast, heavily armoured infantry….if you shoot legs then it is same as shooting marine in legs, if bullet penetrates armour it will hit leg, maybe it’s minor and you limp, maybe it’s more serious and you need carrying home, though suits medical suite will make you more comfortable…is not like mech where you can just take out legs and trap rider inside” Tarja explained hoping to reassure him that his friend wouldn’t get hamstrung and left trapped and helpless in her own armour without having to start detailing all of the auxiliary systems designed to specifically stop that from happening ”if it would reassure you I have body cam footage of me tearing off lower jaw of larg after it tried to bite off leg…as for training Ellen, you can start as soon as you are ready, stop by compound and we’ll get you uniform and make adjustments to suit” Tarja replied, more than happy to get the ball rolling so she would ready to go into the field with them.

 Meari listened and replied to Mann," We would never leave a fallen warior behind not while I was on this team. Mann you know me, you know that would not happen in a team I was in correct." Meari just smiled and then added," Tarja is right we are just heavily armored and armed Marines just like you, fighting for the same cause as you."

 Meari just looked at Mann and smiled and said to Ellen, " Yes come by the compound and we will get you fitted better and then get you learning how to really operate it."

Justin arranged for the pups tin and a bone to knaw on then he strolled over to the SIMS area.

With Mann hopefully reassured by what she and Meari had told him, especially concerning wounded comrades, and Ellen invited to join them in the mech compound as she was ready for some training Tarja would return to her table where the rest of the AI were seated ”Meari did you receive message about dresses for a ball on Fuji?” Tarja would her ask friend, still wondering whether she’d received the message in error ”…it was only a couple of days ago we had last ball, I think?” she added, once again hoping that Meari would be able to clarify a few things for her.

 Belle looked up at Tarja  as she  and  Andruss  shared a  submarine sandwich and soda.It comes from some ..old sailing   rites or something..when the Fleet pulls into a port, the  person who is running  the port, has a  party, or Ball...It gets the people to gather together ..share news that  would not have come across the Vid Screens or  COMs, and    the  heavy Brass talk up  , upcoming events. Rumors  say there is a 'showcase' on the PG, they  day after the Ball.  if so , we may be picking up goodies  we need  for the next Jump Off..i have not heard   word on it  as yet


Penny Nodded.some officers   must go..Most of the Pilots..a few of the  troopers..and  they other Folks.. meari because of her Bloodlines..Master Chief.. SM is considered part of  Operations and  a few of the   Non-coms and such in SEC..those not going to the Ball  will have a  free  run at the station... LC's after party is always  fun, and  alot of folks can  get places to stay there..  The Admiral is  right across the roof  from him, so the fancier  folks  stay there, and   people like us stay  at the LC's...Might be a beach day as well..depedns on what time the    Showcase is.

 Belle  says  sagely,Ladies  who go , have a choice.. Angel silk dresses,, or   dress whites..or  MArines  , dress Blues..... I always    get a dress...not only can you wear them  elsewhere. But if you would leave  the  ship, to join a colony or something, you could sell one of those for enough to live on for a good year or two!

Dana caught the last part and added,as she  sat down  the drinks and food  ordered  and waited to see if there was anything else Poeple  argue, they say  that  they don't know  who 'won' with Hack  marring Si?  Guys, of course  , say hack won, because he has the Hot Angel wife?... other  say  Si won, because she has  learned  from Hack, about Humans, and developed  a more Human  approached  to go with her Angel training?..me?  I think the  Hermes  won..Captain Si takes care of the ladies for these  balls and events . She knows, almost none of us, can afford  the  Angel silk Dresses... but  she gives everyone  a chance to wear/own one..some of the 'lifers' on board  have  collections..newer folks, one or two..But?
The Captain is   right.. i'd be lucky enough to have  the creds  to buy angel silk gloves, let alone  a dress!..  Dana Pointed over to where  Sneak and Pan talked, Pan's  eyes  were wide  as she listened  and studied the tables  as  Sneak helped get her up to speed..

tose two young Ladies?.. they'll be getting Angel Slk... Pan doesn't know it  yet.. Sneak has a few of them Girls from the Stem, wearign Angel Silk... you'll only find that on The Hermes.

Ah a naval tradition Tarja thought to herself as Belle explained the situation before going on to mention the possibility of them attending a showcase and maybe getting some new toys to play with ”Ah that I can confirm…unofficially of course…company that makes armour are attending, not sure if we’ll get anything new but they want to sell more equipment to the fleet” Tarja responded before one of the servers stopped by their table to chat, with her explaining the benefits of owning an Angel silk gown or two and how for many women the Hermes was the only opportunity they would ever get to own one ”I do not think I would look good in gown, Angel Silk or not” Tarja said in a sceptical voice, though there were other reasons why she didn’t think she would be attending.

There was a brief look of confusion as what appeared to be an inside joke that everyone but her understood was exchanged before the server; Dana, simply stated that everyone looked good in Angel Silk. Despite this assurance Tarja still looked more than a little dubious that she would look anything but comical in a dress ”I will have to take your word on that…no, I do not think ball is for me, especially by myself” she replied before finishing the last of her coffee ”if you are ready Ellen we can look at getting suit set up for you”

 Ellen  gives  Mann a pat on the Back,see you later...

Mann groused  a bit , and nodded.  Ellen said,lets go!

”Hey you can come with if you like…make sure we’re taking good care of her” Tarja would say to Mann as she tidied away her knife and fork with a mischievous glint in her eyes. She knew she shouldn’t tease him but couldn’t help herself ”Come along Ellen, let’s get you sorted”

 Magin  had  entered  and  Bee-lined  to  the LC's  Table..she Looked  at  Shadow  and  Shadow   moved over  to let her  sit  on the other side of   Shade,with Dusk on his right.

 Magin smiled  and said something to  Shade  in an odd  language, Shade bleeped  and  whirled..  Shadow's  eyebrow  rose. in was a heartbeat Later,  Maria popped up..she Looked at Shadow.. who nodded, she then looked at  Dusk  who, took a moment to understand   and she  moved  across the table to sit  next to flores  as Maria sat on the other side of Shade..the two  woman looked at each other.. it was hard to tell   what was going through the Ladies  Minds..Shade   was  just bleeping away , Maria   was  trying to grasp some of the things he said, Magin had  a  edge on her there.

 Flores  looked at  Shadow.  Shadow just gave a quick shake of his head
