At the mention of new toys Justins ears picked up. Would the showing be limited to Command or do the rank and file get an opportunity to check them out as well?

       Shadow had  taken a bite of Pizza,  after he  chewed  he  Nodded.Last time  we went  we  got  new fighters, and some  Pilots..of  course, one of them  was harry's sister, and we all know what happened to her,

 but  yeah?    Piulots who ant to get 'hands on' will get  some  flight time... I assume there will be   'Tag dogfights"  to  have  us Combat type  face off  against the test pilots.

 Shade  came up from  the  back  way , Matia  waved to him, he waved back. he sat with  Shadow  who  signaled  Amy  who made  Pan  watch  so she understood, two slices  of   Shade and a Soda and put in on Shadow's  account

 Shade  bleeped in whirled .

 well.. I'm still here.. losts of us  are. This is somehtign the  SM and  Admiral are trying, and we'll see what that means when  we  hit Fuji.

Nikkis eyes lit up a bit "We can always use new toys now and then" to everyone it seemed Nikki was easy going as always, only the LC and Lizzy could tell there was something a bit....off.

Making a bee line for their usual table, Tarja would give Nikki a casual wave as she passed her, with her not wanting to disturb her conversation, and took a seat with the rest of the AI. After ordering herself a burger and fries she would settle down and listen to the conversation going back and forth between the rest of the team with the main topic’s seeming to be their training session and their upcoming arrival on Fuji station and what it entailed.

Angela finished her salad, looked between the small pool of pilots at the table, smiled to herself, and then turned to Kray. "So are we playing with the new toys against rookies or vets like ourselves?" she asked waving to the waitress to order a soda.

 Shade  looked  up  and listened  as this pizza  and drink came.Last time  we  did  this, we  flew against the Test pilots . They  know the   machines  better the we do.. we might be asked to put on a show, show when we  go, you wear    thinks  you can fly in..  The PG is a Moon, not  alot of clubs or hotels there... you want to party?  Party  on the station.

Justin gave a slight nod acknowledging Shadows statement.

Nikki smiled and nodded to those coming down for their lunch.  She ate the last of her soup and sandwich and just used a napkin to wipe her mouth when the announcement came for another ball. "OOooohhh new dress...or maybe I'll wear that changing color one again.  I liked that one" she said. She looked at Lizzy and Angela. "Lizzy..I'll Take Angela to get that fuel part and then meet you at the SIMS" she then looked at Angela as she cleaned her mess up "'Ready?" she asked Angela.

Quietly eating his steak and salad Justin took note or the ladies interaction, noting in particular their comments about the upcoming ball. Chucking at the thought most of them approached the event as a fashion challenge.

  Flores , Kat  and  Gia  entered the   Rec dec. The htree went   for  Shadow's  Table..   Shade gave them a  bleep and a wave.

  Hey?  LC..... Rumors  say  Fuji? Flores  asked  as she sat  down, the other two  stood   between Shade and Shadow.no rumor.. we should  reach there tonight   or  early Morning..

  Da, we  got  message   from Captain, for Dress  day . We  figure  ball was  comign  up...

Gia  grinned,i wish  i would have been on the Hermes  sooner,, I can only imagine the colection i would have...

Shadow Looked at  Shade  with a raised  eyebrow..Shade may have looked   embarrassed  if  one  could Tell with the shifting skin tones...Sahde...um...says....You all would look  good  without the dresses.. I..am hoping  he means  a more innocent   thing  than i think.  The women  laughed     Shade  looked  up at them  and tried to smile a tiny smile.

 Shadow shrugged,Kat is  close enough.  She was lost  when Irina was lost..got her straightened  out , about the  whole  , 'being drunk.' thing...Gia... she's nice..i mean.. she  did  get me in bed  when we did the delta night, supposed to set me up to get assassinated.. Hemsly  stopped alot of that... but, she a bit too  wild  for my tastes..

Listening to the women's comparative chatter  Justin averted his gaze to look out the porthole at the view. With his head in a position none at Krays table could see he momentarily closed his eves, focusing on blocking out their comments.

  Dusk stepped of the elevator, seeing  Shadow  and Shade   turned from going to the filed, to  go to their  table. Dressed in a workout shorts and Hermes  T, she   waved off or nodded to those  who tried to Salute.

 Taking one of the Pizza   slices  she  got a Hug from Flores  and sat down

 Nore or  Less?   Roy and a Unit  went on ahead , they are going to start the harvest early, and Yes, the Traditional 'welcome the fleet' ball.

"Justin... see you later unless you want to join Angela on the Hangar dec or Lizzy and me at the SIMS" she stated leading Angela to the civie section to get the part she needed.

Seeing Ellen walking onto the rec dec with her grumpy looking friend, Tarja would raise a hand in a casual wave towards the pair before going back to her meal. With her alternating between talking to those at her table and exchanging messages with someone as she tried to arrange a couple of presentations and trials for people when they arrived at Fuji. Needless to say the R&D company were more than happy to try and sell more of their hardware to the Delta fleet no doubt hoping that other fleets within the APF would also invest in new hardware and so were willing to jump through a few hoops to get everything in place in such a short time frame.

   Ellen   waved  at Tarja.. Manngave  a  stern  nod  as well.  Pan  arrive d and   put the  trays out before them, she asked if there was anything else,  Mann  had his  writs to get scanned, then handed her a  10 cred  chip.

The Girl smiled  wide and thanked them, and  was off so see other tables  that needed  cleaned.

Its was then ,the   Lift opened  and  6  Largs with two Nivarains, each  Navarian carried  a  Larg pup.  entered.

 as they crossed the  Dec  to the 'larg section' near the Sims.. the  doors opened  again, the  Rest of the largs exited along with Roll..Boris  had stayed in the Lab area  with  Henry,Val and Can..Mila.. however   came along  with the  LArgs, knowing  there would be  running and  food.

Pan stared  at the  Unit of  Largs, even Puppies!!.. Amy  and Dana  giggled...Those  are Largs... they have thier own Unit in the  SEC..Those  Nivarians  are  Larg Masters  from Nivar..that  kid?.. he is a 'homegrown' Larg Master..

  Once the largs and Mila  was eating,   Roll   walked over to  Shadow's table. he gave a salute  in his unifrom.  Flores  Got up  and  moved to the other   side  so  Roll could sit between   Shadow  and Dusk.

 The LC waved  for   another Pizza and a  freshened   drinks.Thaks  LC...  I am worried  about   our Largs...

 You're always  welcome  at  anytable..but  especially this one...why are you worried  about the Largs...

 Roll took the soda  from Pan  who smiled at  him, then    switched out pans. and went off  to the  Stalls.

 Sipping his soda  he   said..Its  weird?  I think Freddie Likes  Roe?... And Tess  seems to get Mad if Roe is  around Freddie . I think  Reo likes  Callie...and... I think Rex  wants to be the leader..sometime s Larry  has  to  swat him with his tail... Disna  says  we have to let him, so he  can show dominance..

 Great..a Larg soap opera!  Shadow  stopped talking as he  saw  how hungry  Roll was, by the way he ate his pizza.Roll?  you know you have to eat..right.. Largs  won't respect you if you are tired and rundown?

 I eat some stuff  before i leave.. its hard to eat   at lunch time for the largs, unless we are here..we have bunches of Largs now!

Noting Rolls and the Largs arrival Justin strolled over the pack. Watching Larry to assess his reaction to Justin's presence.

  Larry  had   just Crushed  up the  Thigh bone of  an Astra   Ox, his head  was swiveling up and down the line  keeping an eye on the Largs, especially the new ones.It appeared the Largs  understood then no longer had to fight  for 'thier share.'

  his eye s glimpsed   Justin, there was a small thump of his   tail as if  to say 'hello'

 Shadow  gave him a look, then shrugged,yeah..The Eggplants  are trying to  be wiseguys  and  do stuff they thing  is   alright according to the Admiral's  warning..they are about to find out that being a  smatass, is a  quick  way to die.

 I guess  that means  largs  get to  eat those   Briss  and   the purple guys..  i wonder   if  I'll have to stay in the hanger  with a couple  Largs...

 Shadow shruged again,always have to have  some Largs here.. and You are the Youngest  Larg Master..so you'll be  in charge of thm, I guess?..unless  The Admiral empties  the cupboard, then you'll be   down there too.

After spending a few more minutes at her table eating her lunch Tarja would finish sending the message she had been writing to the R&D team before getting up and approaching Ellen and Mann’s table ”I hear we are going to Fuji station, be interesting to see what new toys they have for us” she said before quickly adding ”…also apologies if I caused you to be late this morning”

Grinning at Larry's reaction Jastin crossed to Larg pack leader. Crouching beside the Larg Justin gave him a pat. Got your paws with a growing fine looking pack, Justin prompts glancing about the number of Largs. Would you care for anything else to munch on?
