Re: Herme's  Bridge

In reply to Justin (msg # 52):

No problems Lieutenant, from what I have surmised of the Commanders directives I'd expect nothing less.

He smiled then faced the Beth. Prior to taking the vaccated chair, least they relocate to another point

It's has a number of encryption and inherent safeties, which will to say the least give the OS of anyone attempting to tamper with it a thorough purge. If they persist it has a final self trashing application which I could demonstrate if you've got a stand alone that you have no use for. Its not as impressive as the one previously observed but it does the job.

Re: Herme's  Bridge

Beth Nodded  as she  crossed her  arms, after handing him  his handheld.all i am woried  about  , is  the Hermes and  my crewmates...if  i can make certain , this can't be used against us?..I'm fine with it..but i have to see the l,ockouts first....they had some dame  box on the rbidge when we first came out, it tried to go too deep into the  Hermes' information ports..and  the Hermes struck back, we had to launch it out of a torpedo bay  before it blew up....so? we  have less they 100 % trust in tech we didn't have'hands on' with.

Re: Herme's  Bridge

Beth's eyes  look over the   apps and she nods,alright...what we  will need is to add a little something on the front  end of  each of those, that will tell us, it  is hour device..sort of a 'hello' if you will....then we can feed  that itno the Hermes, so she doesn't get angry, like she did with the  Computer  box thing.....

In reply to Justin (msg # 58):

Add away Beth, I assume you've got a pre-coded package or do you need to fine tune it. I've got a version converter that will duplicate whatever language they are coded in to the existing variant. It will enable the front end addition to fit in

Re: Herme's  Bridge

I have a few sniffers, we'll use one of themJust so we  can recognize  ti , within a  word or two, and then  we'll be able to tell if  friend  or  foe is using it.....we can turn the tables on  someone who steps too  far, and they won't even know it....now....what do you want your 'hello' word to be?

In reply to Justin Kase (msg # 61):

Beth's diagnosis and approval process took a good five hours to complete, albeit most of this was automated, Justin remained on the bridge to provide on the spot feedback, answers and commentary about the various applications. When it finished he waited expectantly hoping Beth would give a thumbs up on use of the unit.

Re: Herme's  Bridge

As   the   apps   run, and Beth hovers over the screen, she seems  more worried that that Hermes  might not accpet some of the  apps, rather then them not working.

Miller  has Docked the ship, she is going over  all the   Dock plugs, even to the point  of snapping  out over the coms to  some Olympus dock hamds  , because one of the couplings  didn't  register 'green'

Lilly was handling  small tiem coms, now  and then looking  confused, but otherwise  , seemed ok.

The rest of those on the bridge were finishing reports and getting ready to leave the Bridge.

Capt Monroe and the Bridge Marines watched Justin...

There are a few moments where he wasn't sure if Beth thought one of the applications suitable, which was cleared up by a comprehensive outline of its function.

Re: Herme's  Bridge

In reply to Justin (msg # 67):

That's a relief, not that I would want to do anything to endanger the Hermes it's the thought of having to consider the outcomes of every little action before the fact that boggles the mind.

As far as Lady is concerned I'm grateful she's in Shadows and the Commanders capable hands.

Justin blinked surprised by the download process Beth I assume you are aware these apps are specifically designed for small craft. Which are covered by IP copywright.
