Sam smiled and looked at Lizzy and responded,' I think she is in the back getting a holster fitted." Sam hoped Izzy wouldnt be much longer.  Sam put her stuff on the counter and was ready to check out as well.

 Lizzy smiled at the person at the counter and said," Oh no I can't pay that for this type of workmanship." Lizzy smiled even more and scanned 2000 credits. Lizzy held up her hand and said," You do great work thank you for everything." Before the person could stop her she paid and headed for the door waiting for everyone, and still looking for Izzy.

Madison bought more than Lizzy did, but Lizzy paid twice as much on her own. Maybe some of that was to cover Madison's purchases. Madison understood paying extra for good service or even when something was discounted below its obvious value. But at the same time, the discounts were negotiated not dictated. Paying a bit more was polite and a compliment, but dramatically overpaying was unnecessary. She was pretty confident that the store was still making a profit even at the discount.

After Madison paid, the attendant placed her loot in three tote bags. They were heavy, but she could carry them just fine.

"Okay, get me out of here before I wipe out all my money."

"Again, thank you this meant a lot to me" Izzy replied as she got her wrist scanned for the holster which she would quickly put on under her jacket with it fitting both her and her sidearm like a dream "I'd best go and find Lizzy before she starts wondering where I am" she then said with a giggle before allowing herself to be escorted into the main part of the store "Hey girls, so did everyone find what they were after?" she said as she moved to rejoin Lizzy, giving Sam a subtle wink as she passed her as if to say Mission Accomplished. All she had to do now was find the right time to propose to Lizzy...again.

"I know but I wouldn't be able to pay you back...beside I make point not to borrow money from friends...especially close friends" Tarja softly replied as she walked away with Andruss, knowing from watching other people that it was a very good way of destroying a friendship, not to mention the fact that she didn't like the idea of being beholden to anyone "besides I rarely carry sidearm these days so it wouldn't see much use" she added with a shrug and a hand gesture.

She would peruse the rest of the store though nothing else would really catch her eye aside from a couple of the boots on display, however time was beginning to run short "We should think about returning to airfield soon" she said, meaning that if they wanted to check out any more of the city they would have to go and do it now.

 there was a  eatery, with people going in  and out,The front of the Building looked like a massive tree trunk. the   Dor  looked like a knot hole., it was called ,'The Hidey Bole'

  going in the bar  was packed  with  Fleet grabbing drinks  singing  songs, and perhaps a punch or two  when it came to 'whose  ship was the best'.

 they  got a table  at the wall ,   Andruss got a  'glowing  Sun'  drink.and ordered  , white looked like a Blooming Onion with Dips.

With Andruss offering to buy her a fancy drink, Tarja would make a show of thinking it over before replying ”Yes, I think fancy drink would be nice” as they left the store and went in search of somewhere to get a drink.

Sitting inside of a giant tree of all things, Tarja would take a seat next to Andruss as she curiously examined her cocktail, with the brightly coloured drink being unlike what she would normally order ”So this called…Glowing Sun?” she asked, giving it another critical look before taking a sip ”hmm is nice…Fruity” she said setting down beside him to relax and enjoy the evening ”So did you buy knife then? Or did you find something else you liked?” she asked, recalling the package he’d been holding back in the store, with her curious to see what it was.

 Andruss smiled  and   brought out the   wrapped    package . There  were two  Blades  with a mesh  type  sheath .

 the Hilts  were on Bone, or perhaps horn,  tanish-white  with Etchings  of Nuska  and  . Lion-things on.

  One  for me...one for you.. you pick, Its a souvenir  of  out  Brua time?

 he takes a  big swig on the  drink and coughs a bit  as he looked at the glass.

 Lizzy smiled as she saw Izzy come out from out back with a new fitted holster. Lizzy was happy  yes she probably gave the shop keeper too much but it was out of respect and love for the Burians she did it. The Burians are a proud people and after what the Delta fleet did they would do anything for them. This was just a little way Lizzy could repay the Burians for their honor and determination to free themselves from the Empire.  Lizzy smiled at the Burian and took her hand and whispered," Thank you your people are heroes to me, use that extra to help someone in need of great shoes ok." Lizzy smiled and then joined Izzy at the door.

 " Ok ladies I think we are done here, do e have any time left or should we head to the Hermes?"

”Oh Andruss, you really shouldn’t have” Tarja exclaimed as he opened the package to reveal a pair of knives, one of which he was giving to her as a souvenir. Selecting one of the knives she would take a moment to admire the intricate carvings on the handle before sliding it part way out of its sheaf to look at the blade before returning it again. It was at this point that she would then take his head in her hands and kiss him.

”Hmm we maybe have enough time to check out a shop or two if there was anything in particular someone wanted…or we could grab a drink somewhere” Izzy suggested as she slipped an arm around Lizzy’s waist ”The airfield is just down the road so we don’t have far to travel” she pointed out as they started heading for the exit with Lizzy giving the shop assistant a quick wave with her freehand as she went ”What about you Maddy? Anything in particular you’d like to see or do?”

Andruss was surprised, but  eased into the kiss....sopoo... I , um, guess you like it?

he smiled the goofy smile a bit.well? Regs  say we must have a sidearm and  Bootknife,,but they let us determine, what is a boot knife... so,,, BOOT KNIFE!!

Madison was waiting by the door, hands full of bags. "Uh. Nope. I've indulged about every kind of vice or sin I can think of this trip. We should head back before I get lost."

 Sam finished up her business and then added," I am good to go and as far as where to next I am with Madison lets head back I also need to check in with Burian Command." Sam then went out of the shop with the others and waited for their car to arrive." I believe we all still have stuff at the Palace we will have plenty of time to collect it and then head back to the Hermes." Sam smiled she had a great time and riding Snowball was something she would never forget.

 Sam added," So are we all good with heading back to the Palace then home to the Hermes?" Sam waited to give the driver their destination.

"Palace for me"

“I’m happy to head to the palace if everyone else is” Izzy replied as Sam and Maddy suggested heading back, with her having done what she wanted to do ”Did you have fun babe, even though we didn’t get married?” Izzy softly asked Lizzy as they waited for the car to arrive, with things having not quite gone the way they had originally said intended. Then again spending the morning with no clothes on had been a lot of fun.

”Yes…I like it” Tarja quietly replied with a hint of pink appearing on her cheeks, with her quickly grabbing her drink to try and hide her embarrassment ”it’s been long time since boy gave me gift…thank you” she continued before taking a long sip of her drink.

She would chuckle in response to his theory about what constituted as a boot knife, finding his boyish charm and enthusiasm to be a refreshing change. She would nestle up beside him and enjoy her drink as they watched a pair of Burian’s play what she assumed to be folk songs on the other side of the room only for it to be interrupted by the quiet beeping of the alarm on her comms unit. After taking a moment to shut off the alarm and confirm her suspicions she would look up at Andruss before quietly speaking ”we need to think about heading back now, transports will be arriving soon” with her sounding a little disappointed that it was all coming to an end.

  Andruss    sips his drink, and  Nods against her  head, yeah?  The hermes is  calling,  We should not let her  wait, overly long.

  Tucking the  Blade and sheath into his  Belt, for his  Knife. he    will leave  paper creds on the table.

 . But? its is good, isn't it. That we travel about, so when we get a place like this  to stop, it means more , then the normnal folks who can  come and go as  they like?

 Lizzy smiled and replied," I am good to head back to the Palace." Lizzy smiled as they all left the store and piled into the car. " Izzy I was with you I had a great time, and riding the horses was amazing. We will get married my love and we dont have to be married to still have fun." Lizzy giggled as the car pulled away once everyone was in.

 Sam smiled as everyone got in and they headed back to the Palace.

Tarja would take a moment to think over what Andruss said, with it making some kind of sense, not that it stopped her from wishing that they could spend a little more time here. Tucking her new knife into the pocket of her jeans Tarja would finish her drink before getting up and holding hand in a subtle gesture that suggested she wanted Andruss to take it ”ok let’s go, I’ve not been here long enough to get away with being late” she said before following him out of the bar so they could catch a car back to the airfield.

 Meari and Frakas had a great day, and evening with Skiffle, after the 'Kids' day events they all went back on rides and played more games. They would meet Skiffle's parents for dinner that Meari paid for and wouldnt take no for an answer.

 Meari had lots of fun with Skiffle and it made her feel young and gave her more of a reason to win this war for all the Skiffles out there. Meari enjoyed spending a great time with Frakas as well. It was a great day and Meari did not want it to end.

 Meari knelt down to Skiffle," Thank you for a great day Skiffle, I hope you had fun as well. I will keep in touch and come see you when I can."

 Meari really cared for Skiffle, she then gave her a big hug but made sure she didnt hurt Skiffle.

 NA-CE spent the day and night enjoying the faire and the hospitality of the Burians. She had a great time and spent some time with other Hermes crew members. NA-CE enjoyed herself greatly and as it got late, NA-CE made her way back to the Palace to get her stuff and then finally make her way back to the Hermes.

  Skiffle's  Mom and Dad   were   happy and Sad, as they watched the good byes.

 Skiffle  hung  Meari  Back,I had   so much fun!.  Roll said i am a member of his pack!

 No?  I did  what i wished to do? I wished to spend a good time with Meari on the planet, and this was  a very good time... watching  you and other children play  and compete, is important, as we  realize, what the   real mission of this war is, on out  side.

 The Parents  shook hands, though Skiffle's mom have Meari hug...come back, as you are able....

 Frakas  waved to  right arm as they   waited  and  finally boarded a Van. that would take them to the Airfield, it was crowded. he said in a husky voice,My people have a saying.'when your heart hurts, as you leave someone. It means you you'll never   leave them ...in here.." his  lower right  arm thumps his chst,where  his heart is.

 Meari had to fight to keep from crying she had never felt this way about leaving someone that wasnt family before. Skiffle was family and so where her new parents.

 Meari replied," I am so glad you did Skiffle, and that is awesome Roll will never sert you, and neither will Frakas and I."

 Meari smiled at Skiffle and said," If I am able I will visit you as much as I can, I will send messages when I can as well."

 Meari hugged the mom and added," Let everyone kow if they pick on Skiffle they pick on me and Roll's pack let them know that." Meari smiled and then waved to them as they headed for the Van to take them back to the Hermes.

 After all the goodbyes were done, Meari responded to Frakas," Yes Frakas my heart hurts a lot but Skiffle will always be in my heart, and she is the reason I fight the Empire." They got into the van went to the BU and then headed back up to the Hermes.
