OK Pilots..  roll (2)  dice  again for the frist attack   from east to west.

I  did my weekly check of   players.  We have, of course, those we  know  who are on the shlelf,because of RL.

 we have two , who have not contacted  me, in any way  as to  absence . I will let them on the roster until the end of the Month. Then remove then   as 'having lost interest'

 you all have  seen . Niki  posting as best she can as she goes through therapy. her obstacles are there, and she's fighting the good fight to get through it, not only for RL, but for the game.

 we lost a player, about 8-10 years ago as he suffered strokes. He started his own game, but that has  lay  fellow  for almost as long..we all know some one, or seen someone who has to fight that fight.

 Robyn... HOURS..before she passed, posted  on all of ou games, and gave Nancy  the way she  'wanted her characters to go out"..we were fortunate  enough  for Nacy to  want to take part and keep them alive

 the bottom line?   These are just games  i run/play in. No one is getting paid  to  play here. we are not changing the world with our  games....But if you lost interest , say so, so we can walk away from the characters... if RL hit you find  a way to send  a PM or OOC..  saying. 'i can't play any longer" something like that.

 You don't like  my game, my stale, or some other players?..you can  even vent that on the way out the door. Unless i was lied to in  RTJs, we are all adults, some  for  of responsibility  should be taken, if  , for no other reason the Common maners.

 the  damage chart  also shows you  which  colors  your  control panels  say..its  written right there?  so if you miss  when you aircaft, is  overly damaged, i must assume you 'didn't notice'

Good to see you around. Hang in there. My player had a stroke in 2007. I lurch, the only thing I can do with my right hand is touchtype, I've completely lost the ability to write longhand... but I'm in fulltime employment and enjoying life.

still in ot Mila.  keep telling them as long as I can extend my middle finger on my right hand (my dominant and stroke affected one) I'm good.  for a while all I could do is bend and almost make a fist (no strength in it though), then about 2-3 weeks ago I could straighten my fingers out. my wrist was a limp noodle, but as of last week I could lift it with out dropping and it's getting stronger.  so not giving up yet.... I have to many people to annoy still in life.  lol.

Sometimes it's all about that middle finger...*grin*

Weird night at the theater, tonight.  I think more than half the tickets we've sold were sold AFTER the movie was scheduled to start, to at least half the movies we're showing.  Half the movies only had 10-15 people in them...the other three had about 260 people, between the three movies.  That's a slow night by comparison to what Saturdays were, pre-Covid, but it's one of the better nights we've had recently.

Had a guy who came in late, fuming that his friends had gotten here before him and gone into the movie.  He started texting, trying to find out which movie they'd gone to, and kept getting no response.  Finally, after forty minutes of him saying he was fed up and leaving and then turning around and coming back, they figured out that he was not only at the wrong movie theater, he wasn't even in the right city...

And some lady kept coming out of Dungeons and Dragons, for the first half hour, to get more butter and salt on her popcorn.  After I buttered it the third time, and she put an absolutely indecent amount of salt on it, I haven't seen her again.

The concessions kids normally leave within about ten minutes after the last movie starts.  Between stragglers coming in late and the dude with the bad sense of direction, they were here for almost another half hour.

And one of them was obsessed with telling me the corniest, worst jokes, and then complaining because I wasn't laughing at them.

Nikki - finger exercises are good. If you've ever been taught piano, try tapping out finger exercises on a table.

If not, here's a simple one: thumb - middle finger - pointer finger - ring finger - middle finger - little finger - ring finger - pointer finger - thumb. Keep repeating that sequence.

Can you snap your fingers? I used to be able  to on both hands. It took about 3 months to manage it with the right hand.

When motion/sensitivity improves in the hand, take up lock picking. Seriously.

Also get a set of worry beads (or use a rosary), and use them with the right hand.

Mine still locks up (especially when it's cold) if I don't keep it moving. So there's a set of Greek worry beads always in my pocket. The lockpicks and some padlocks sit on my desk. And you can tap quietly on your leg if there are people around and you don't want to tap on a table.

Off to play football...Maddy's Player has a big day today in RL, so we may noit  see  anything from her   until late tonight, at best.

 because of this..and the simple time factor  since  his  Building post.. I had to allow the Building  coming down..but.. that's all of his  Demo ( to bring something like that down)

 I allowed hm  4  mags  of  ammo for whatever   weapon he is carring..now   the Dice  gods  and such will have to have their   say.

 another thing  , along those  Lines, Sakura's  actions ( after  dice rolls)  coast some Athena   Pilots thier lives... her punishment  is  bee=ing sent into battle...but..you know what?  she  has her Laod out  in 'now'. So that is a great job as a player.

This can be a rough  game   if  you  step to near the dragon..  But the   dice  gods   get to  overrule me.

Also for the record she was manning the comms for the ground forces so that the three other comms officers could concentrate on the various air wings, though I probably could have made that clearer.

   Izzy   comment     about  air traffic was enough for  me (GM) to roll... the roll was  bad.. if the roll was good?  she would have had some  Officer  wire out  on her in the COMs... its a bit of the dice  gods. and though izzy isn't a main battle character. She does have a history , known to all, of  ignoring her  responsibilities , which is why she is where she is.

Good  Roll? some one bitches her out..Bad roll some one dies  and  Beth got bitched at... Beth sucked that up as he  job, but she doesn't let things  slide.
