where people and largs  Play.

  Henry, Larry, Val and mila, went to see the new Largs..  The seemed   to be  Getting along, except  Homer a  Freddie seemed want to put  Rex in his   Place.. Roll looked comical , in his uniform, as he dressed down  the  3 males

 when Larry stepped out of the van   and  Walked over, still sporting  Blood  and Bits of  flesh , Roll pointed to the Lake. larry took  some   fast Larg  steps  and  entered the lake  Diving to clean himself.

 Roll looked at   Henry and Val, and Mila.Disna and Puskie are Going to bring Roe and Rea  down so they  can get fresh  air  and meet the other  Largs... Thor  gets to be a big brother!

 rex  looked at Henery and the others  and snorted.he has  been doign that , alot. Freddie doesn;t like it.

Henry wanted to meet the new largs and make sure that they gelled with the rest of the pack.

"Come here, Rex. You need to work with the others, not snort at them."

Then he called Homer and Freddie over.

"You three, no more nonsence. Freddie, you are in charge and it is up to you to look after Rex and Homer. OK?"

He rubbed heads and made a fuss of all three largs, then sent them off to swim in the lake.

"Mila, do you want to swim as well?"

He turned to his beloved.

"What do you want to do? And where is Can? He'd like it here."

Val Pointed inside the BU...Can  and haley  are in the BU.  We can take them up for the LC's breakfast in the Moneing, they looked to be  sleeping in those bag...things...

While the  largs and the fur  Larg splashed  about, Roll said to Henry..I like  Largs...but  wee  may have too many. I don't know if  we should get any more...we will be called the 'Craxy Larg Ladies" of the fleet

"You may have a point... but Shadow just came across these ones and it was either rescue them or kill them. Mixing with 'our' largs will help civilise them, but long term we can look at dividing them into two packs. I think Freddie's about ready to take on a leadership role, what do you think?" Henry asked Roll.

Henry suddenly yawned as everthing caught up with him.

"Is Boris the Bear here too?" he asked Val. "He might like a swim."

   Roll Pointed where Teddy was,Mr  Vorse is watching him by the shore.. I think Boris is  eating fish-things

 Vak  uts   an arm around   HenryLet us  sleep   in the BU  tonight? won';t be any differant that looking   of  specimeds? They we will take the Children and   Tenny up to the LC's breaffats  and get ready for th   Beach..or  we can  come back here. Disna  and Puskie will be here with the  new  female and Pup

"Willingly, my love. We're certainly safe with Mila and the largs around."

Henry let himself be led inside. He was very tired and had a bit of a headache.

Next Morning

Mila was up early and running around, making the most of being on a planet (as a dog, she didn't quibble about the differences between planets and moons!). Her Human was still asleep in the BU with His mate and son.

Some of the largs were waking and so was the bear, who had a liking for the water and bumbled down to the water's edge and caught a small fish in his claws for breakfast.

  The  largs  were getting to know  each others..  Thor seemed a bit jealous of   Rae, Gregory was used to it, having gone through it with Thor

   there were   vans coming from the Hotel, with Food scraps  from the Condos  and the Dinning n rooms  and Kitchens  of the   Hotel.

 rex  a had to get some 'interaction' from larry and Freddie.. the pups  and   Females  at  first Larry and Freddie  would eat last. It was larry's  way , to make certain the whole pack , got  strong.

 people arrived.. It was a bit  further  to walk then The White Sands on  Fuji.. but it  looked  nice.. a massive  lage, to the south east of the  lake  where    people,

shadow and  Maddy chose  to  walk down, seeing how , it isn't very often then get to walk on  real  dirt and grass

 the other s   flowed  in , and several came  down in Vans..The   Vans  parked   like a wall , to shield  them from the areas  between them and the Hotel

 Meari and Frakas got to the beach and Mearo set up and area saving some space for Tarja and her friend. Once they got settled she texted Tarja.

 NA-CE and Vaka walked down, she held his hand as they headed towards the beach. Once there she said," Where would you like to set up Vaka, and what do you think of my home?"

Vake Ponted to the   shore..Close to the Water>   we can   get water  and  sun

  Andruss and  Belle  were  set  up about  half  way, with   Conrad  and Bartlette there.

 NA-CE smiled and replied," Sounds great to me, that looks like a nice spot down there." NA-CE leads them to an area and she lats Vaka chose the spot. Once he chooses, NA-CE puts down her medical bag, which also had her Burian dagger and Angel Steel pulse sidearm in it.

 NA-CE then removed her covering to show off her Angel extremely, sexy one-piece bathing suit that showed off all of NA-CE's very nice curves.

Henry and Val emerged from the BU they'd been sleeping in as more people arrived. He didn't see the point in hauling up to the condos just for breakfast (but better not tell Mila that Shadow was cooking bacon...).

Can also emerged and ran down the shore to splash in the sea. Mila kept an eye on him even whilst playing with the largs.

Henry wandered down to observe how the largs were getting on.

 The Larg  splashed  around...Most of the,. It seemed  alike a pair  'took turns' as   the   have over  watched, before  being repalced   by  another  pair.


 The  Vans  arrive with all sorts of scraps from the two condos  and the   Hotel Kitchen.. and the  largs  scampered up  as Larry and freddie   made sure the  que  was set up.. Tess  and  Roe   dropped    bits of  meat  by there pups. Rae  was   eagerly  eating, Thor took his  time.. Gregor    had a big  bone and sat near them to eat, like he was their  Body  guard

  On the beach  people were claiming  sots.  Civies  who came  down for shore leave , mad choices of  sight  seeing or   the  Lake,

  Though  many of the   Crewman , had   eyes  that would   search around, from time to time, The Civies, never seemed  worried. To them,  The Crew of the ESN 351  Hermes was all around  them, why would they need to worry!


Shadow looked   to  Maddy ,sun first?  water  first?

 Frakas was  feeling Better, he   stretched his  4  arms  and felt the  sun on him...This is Most Pleasant... he said  as he looked at Meari,..and the Sun is nice, as well... a small grin

 Dusk had  walked with Roy as well.  For her,  walking on  a 'real ' planet, was a treat, after  being in passageways  or  Carrirstatons  so often.

Mila joined the largs as they congregated around the food.

Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted Her Human picking up Boris the Bear and bringing him over too. She grabbed a choice morsel and trotted over to offer it to Boris.

  The bear-thing looked at the  food  and  sniffed it.. they took it  in  both fore paws  and began to  chew on his, His eyes  squeezed   i relish, as Bit of meat.

  Roll  can over  with  Halely, they were both dressed  for  playing on the beach..  Roll looked at the Largs that were  happily eating away. and he called  Milla  over.

 Mr  Shadow  sent this for you.. the largs  have some mixed in with all those other foods...  he  opened. what looked like  a shoe Box, that had a paper towel Lining and   contained a dozen strips of  cooked bacon.

 Me  an' Haley  arew gonna go spend  soem  time  with Nikki and the  others.. I'll be  back later to help   with the largs

Mila ran over to Roll when called. When he offered bacon, the dog literally drooled. Her tail wagged furiously and it did not require a chip-link to feel the delight coursing through her.

 NA-CE giggled and replied," Well thank you Vaka I am glad you like how I look. So shall we sit on the beach or hit the water for a bit Vaka?"

 Meari was happy Frakas was feeling better, Meari took off her covering and sat in the sun but kept her eyes open for Tarja and her new fried and new member of the AI. " We can sit in the sun till Tarja and the new trooper arrive."

Wearing a set of Coveralls,  runners and a fedora, Justin stepped off the transport. Moving to one side he glanced about taking in the scene.

With a canvas bag slung over one shoulder and a pair of sandals dangling from her hand Tarja would walk barefoot across the sand in the vague direction of the volleyball net, searching for any sign of Meari amongst all of the other people  currently on the beach.

 Meari was looking out for Tarja and she saw her with a large human. Meari stood up and waved Tarja over when they got close Meari said,You look awesome Tarja. Meari then held out her arm for a warriors arm shake, her long Purple hair flowing in the breeze.

 Sgt. Meari Udenese Commando 2nd of command of AI group. Meari had this cold computer voice.

Eventually Tarja would spot Meari waving to her and head over to join her, clasping her friends arm in a firm grip as she greeted ”you really think so? I was wondering if it was a little too revealing” Tarja quietly replied, though compared to some of the suits being worn hers was rather modest. On the subject of suits Tarja was able to fully appreciate her friend’s muscular physique and had it not been for the fact that Meari had a boyfriend and was her second in command she would have been sorely tempted to make a pass at the Udenese woman perhaps in another life.

Stepping to one side she would allow Rip to step forward and introduce himself should he choose to do so.

 Felrites  from the  walked the  beach, both sexes  had  grace.  they weren't as  crazy  about the water as most  crew..  Lirg  was talking to a pair of female  Hyrians,from one of the Drop ships , Lirg  looked  calm, the   females   tails  were  wagging.

  Beth  pranced up to  Shadow and  MaddyI'm setting up near you guys, that way  the  bottomfeeders  will stay away.

 Orria na d Runner were splashing around in the water.. other Stem Kids  where  set up  with   blankets   and  towels  laid out.

Stepping out of the pod, wearing a black pair of tight trucks with gray piping, his muscular abs and thighs displayed with the many scars and tats that covered his body.  Wearing an unbuttoned Hawaiian style shirt, red with with palm trees, hanging from his shoulders.  The red tint sunglass covering his eyes, he pushed them up falling with a finger.

He saw the laid back pilot, Justin, stepping off a transport, giving the pilot a nod of his head in his direction in greeting.

But his eyes widen behind his glasses as he saw what Tar' was wearing.  Rip was known to be quiet, but the black bikini with red piping, showing off her muscular and very feminine body, left him speechless.  His jaw dropped, the glasses on his nose slide forward as he lean his head forward in a bit of shock.

He only would hope he didn't look like an idiot.  He gulped and worked his jaw, no words coming out.

Following Tar', wish she wore this earlier on the hike, he carried his bag at his side, trying his best to not sneak glances at Tar' with his eyes hiding behind his glasses.

A very tall, purple haired, muscular woman, whom made Rip feel small in comparison, came up to greet Tar'.  Meari it was.  Jack would cross his arms, bag in front of his abs as the two talked.  Rip sized the commando up,  knowing she like Tar' would easily plant his face into the ground.  He caught Udenese Commando team being brought up as she offered his arm in a warriors' greeting.

Reaching out, he gripped Meari's arm right before the elbow in a tight grip.  Shaking her arm, "Trooper Nate Charles.  But call me Rip."  He responded in a gravely voice, his eyes narrowed behind the glasses, but he held no disrespect for the commando.  "Pleased to meet you Sargent.   Tar' here has spoken highly of your skills, and calls you a friend.
I hope you can call me one."  So far so good.  He didn't want to embarrass Tar'.

  Frans, Eckles  and Mara  were  strutting   down the  shore line, a few guys following them.


  Belle  and Andruss  was  sitting  on a blanket, Andruss  was putting  lotion on her,

Shade  was sitting with Maria and  Magin, maygin looked better.

 Lyri came  down with Scarlett  they both  looked  good in one pieces,but walked  a bit slow from wounds.

 Meari took Rop's arm and gave a strong grip, she had fingers like vices. She went right up to just not really hurting him, and held it with a Nod and a smile to Nate." You are large for a human, and I am large for an Udenese woman, so we are even." She releases the vice grip and pats him on the back, Rip could tell there was a lot of power in Meari's arms.

 " Yes I like this one and it looks like he has been in some combat as well." Meari smiled at Tarja giving her a did anything happen look at her. Meari then introduced Frakas," Rip this is my warriorfriend Frakas. Frakas this is a friend of Tarja's, I cant wait to find out how close, and he wants to join the AI."

 Meari looked him over and said," Tarja he will need a special suit like mine, he is too big and wide for the basic model." Meari still had that cold metallic sounding voice as she talked. Meari then said," Rip you have a lot of scars, how good are you at hand to hand, if you have so many hits agaisnt you. I could show you some Udenese forms, that use power and strength to their advantage, you seem to fit that model." Still Meari seemed a little cold and she was definitely checking this Rip out to see if he was good enough to join the AI and possibly date her friend.

Roy let Dusk decide where she wanted to be on the beach...he was inclined to stick close to Shadow, because if there was going to be trouble, it would invariably end up in Shadow's vicinity...but if Dusk didn't want her father hovering over her, he was more than content to set up somewhere else.

Once she settled on a spot, he spread out a small beach blanket and a couple of wedge pillows so they could sit up slightly, but relax and enjoy the sun.  "Maybe...just this once...we'll actually have a shore leave at the beach without someone showing up to complicate the whole mess."  He chuckled grimly, his tone indicating that he had very low faith in the likelihood of that actually happening.  While the vast majority of the Blue Moon Angels had good faith relations with the Delta Fleet, the fact that they'd had so many targets for the previous night's operations, and those targets had been so well established, was a clear sign that the support was not unanimous.  And then there had been the non-Fleet EMS personnel...

He made sure his machine pistol was within easy reach, dismissing the momentary pang that he hadn't brought at least his assault rifle, if not one of his sniper rifles, and forced himself to sit back and at least try to relax.  Unlike most of the crew, however, he generally found it harder to relax when they were off the ship.  Aboard the Hermes, they were on familiar ground, and if anyone was going to make trouble, the deck was stacked heavily against them.  Planetside, or even stationside, when they weren't stopping at a planet, there was an infinite string of variables over which he had no control.

But for the sake of the rest of the crew that was present, he tried to keep himself at just a low simmer of overwatch.  It was made easier by the presence of the largs...they weren't a total preventative, but Larry had repeatedly displayed an almost preternatural ability to know when trouble was about to happen, and to get himself in a position to do something about it.  As long as the largs were at ease, he could let down his guard a bit.

Tarja had never considered herself to be a small woman, quite the opposite in fact, but standing with Meari, Rip and Frakas she was starting to feel very small indeed, with Meari further adding to the feeling by pointing out that Rip would need a custom suit ”I suspected as much…we can squeeze him into standard model for initial training with Brian though” Tarja said as joined in Meari in giving Rip a critical look though her eyes lingered for just a little longer as she did so.

With Meari then introducing Frakas, Tarja would offer her arm to the large, blue skinned Sanri ”Is nice to be meeting you Frakas…Meari speaks highly of you” she said as she clasped one of his four arms ”…perhaps we should recruit Frakas into unit as well Meari?” Tarja would then say half jokingly to Meari as she set her bag down and laid her towel out across the sand.

 Dusk  pointed to a place  a good  40 yards or  so from Beth, who, herself was  about  20 yards  from Shadow, as , many of the ladies  seemed to be  given Shadow and Maddy some space. for the time being at least.

 Roy would notice, after a  few Moments, That  the Largs  who were 'camped" By a BU,  about a  half  Mile  down from the  'Hermes partly area"..  were active.. some of the  running the fields..  Roll  and  Hely were  walking up with Can to the  beach. gregor padded  beside them like a  scaled   Shepard. But  what came  to  Roy's  observant  eyes,  was a   larg swimming, just out of the  'ropes".   the larg would  swim until reaching the  north east  end of the  party area, before  stepping out of the water   and  Walking   up the  sand-like silt, to the  grasses where the Vans were parked, and they would  walk around the Vans   until the passed the party area, then they would  run to the BU.

  by the  time  the  first Larg was  behind the  Middle of the party, another larg  could be seen  swimming  in the deep water.

  Shadow Held a bottle of   lotion, asking Maddy if she needed  any, or if she wanted to  do the water  thing first.  NA-LE and CO-DS walked down the   beach with Captain Si  and  the Admiral, needless to say all three angels ..CO-DS  looked like he was searching for someone, While The Admiral and the  Two ladies  talked,   Nil saw  Captain Morris and   Rivets  sitting hear the  food   stalls that had been set up. Thier purpose  was to enjoy the beach, without   having the Crew  feel ;watched over"

The lake and beach looked so much nicer in daylight. Madison strolled leisurely besides Kray out onto the sand, following along until she found a spot relatively close to the water, but not close enough to be wet.


"Definitely sun first."She held Kray's arm. "This is a good spot." She laid out her towel and reclined, propping herself up on her elbows as the sun warmed her skin. "DO you want to apply that lotion for me?" She smirked.

Having his purchases with him Jason arrived at the beach and changed in one of the pods that was unoccupied. Red swim shorts and a t-shirt and some kinda water shoes. He stowed his uniform in the bag that his purchases came in and went to find a spot somewhere. He waved at meari as he walked by and sam as well. Jason stopped and looked out over the lake for a minute.

 Lizzy took Izzy's hand and could tell she was a little worried," Don't worry my love we will get it all done, we wont stay long here, just want to get some sun, fun and water before we get to work ok."

 They walked to the beach and Lizzy got a spit about halfway from water and the volleyball court. Lizzy laid down a blanket then dropped her beach cover to show off her curves in the sexy skimpy red bikini she was wearing. " I just want to get some sun and have a little fun then we do the wedding thing then we can come back and have a great night."

 Sam and Zob walked onto the beach, Samm looked around and said," Where would you like to set up Zob, then we can relax or go swimming."

Next time Shadow looked out over the lake, he saw a flash of white fur as Mila took her place in the rotation of larg patrols. Soon she came out of the water, shook mightily, then trotted off past the vans and the party area, following the same route as the others.

 Shadow  smiles  as he looked around, Yeah, Let me do it.. gives  me a reason to havemy hands on you with out the kids freaking out...some of the Ladies  will have  fun with it though...

   Will and Cora    were splashing around in the water with Ellen and  Waggstaff,, they  stopped  and   watched the Angel Major veer  towards Shadow and Maddy.. Shoey   had  sat down with  Beth and  Scarlett , along  with Lyri, Shoe  just  waved his  crewmates off..

The  Wold  cards were stefi and  Majo TA-LI  headed   on an intercept.. Stefi looked  damn good in her one piece. Ta-LI looked  way way better in her  2 piece..but..hey? ..Angels..

 Dusk and Roy were   a little up   and behind Beth  and her  small clupm of  Hermites..

does  father  ever  pic  fights  with   enlisted  people?  because   the  EMS  Major and his pet Captain , seem angry with him..and  CO-DS  is  headed right  for   Father  and  Ensign Perry... and Stefi  is coming  from the footstalls  with  the Angel , med tech Major..

Zob took a moment to survey the area deciding on a spot a little bit down from the food stalls about halfway to the water, "Here looks like a good spot"

he then set up a beach chair as he finished he noticed in the distance the angel major diverting towards Shadow, "It was only a matter of time before Mr small penis showed up to get his ass kicked" but unless trouble came his way or towards Orria he would let Shadow handle it.

Rip wasn't surprised by Meari's grip, he would hate to piss her off.  But, he smiled as he looked over at Tar', and thought how fearsome the two must be in battle.  He pitied any fool that got in front of them.  He felt in good company with the two women, if they were examples of the AI unit.

"First Udenese woman, and-"  Rip's mind raced as he tried to remember what race Frakas was.  "Sanri, I have met in a social or official gathering."  He felt if Meari had wanted to, when she patted him on the back, she could have sent him flying with ease.

Rip offered Frakas his hand in greeting, wondering which of his four arms he would use, and if he was a gripper as well.  Odd, he was use to be the tallest around, here he was the second smallest.  He thought he heard Meari whisper something to Frakas, but didn't catch it, but he paid it little care. "Pleasure to meet you Frakas."  Rip said, wondering how close the four-arm warrior and commando were, himself.

"If it is a tight squeeze, I will manage.  I prefer tight spaces."  Rip said with a sly grin, as Tar' and Meari talked about him fitting in the armor.  He did feel like a piece of meat being judged by both Meari and Tar' as the two looked him over.  He was once again hoping his choice of bathing suit was a good one.  He had looked over Meari, and Frakas, but judging them the same.  A beautiful and handsome warrior pair they made, but his eyes were on Tar' as her eyes lingered on him.

He wondered if Meari's cold voice was common.  Like Tar', she seem to keep a cool professional attitude about herself, but he got the hint she would tease him in training.  But for Tar's sake, he hoped he past her friend's judgment.

Rip rubbed the stubble on his chin.  Eyes glancing around at the random members of the Hermès.  He saw Tar' take a spot with her towel.  He would turn to look Meari in the eyes, as he told her about his experience.  "I have plenty in tunnel... err, guess you would call it street fights.  Used a stolen Mining Mech that might not be bigger then your suits of armor.  I was a gang member.  Fought to survive, and wasn't gentle.  Fought a few-"  His lips twisted as he thought about his last stand defense of his Colony.  "Dozen Tankards.  I like to think I give as well as I got, if not more.  I would be honored to learn of any forms you have to show me.  The easier to kill Demons-"  That would be when he saw a demon with a small silvery white haired woman.  He realized that must be Zobaich, from the figure his niece had.  He coughed, interrupted his train of thought.  "I am a changed man. I want to serve.  So I am ready to prove myself however is needed."  His voice was level as could be, growling as he spoke of Demons, but respect to Meari and for Tar'.

He realized he had forgotten a towel, so he squared next to Tar', his eyes fighting to not linger on her legs.  He noticed what must be a net on the beach, only a dozen or so feet wide, and a white ball next to it.  "is that net suppose to separate the beach?  it doesn't seem to do a good job."  He wondered aloud to Tar, Meari, and Frakas.

Finding a shady spot near the food stall Justin removed his coverall so he could get a fix of vitamin d.

 Shadow laughed...Hey , Roy , Comon'   this will be  fun..shouldn't  take more then a few Minutes.. Here's   what we  do.. me  and  Major  Disaster here,  will fight... then , Roy and  Sumggins   will fight.. If   me and roy win...lets  see... CO-DS must  introduce  himself  as 'Major Dumbass '  to any and all females  on the beach  Until  the party is over..or he leaves....If Smuggins loses..he  has to  Kiss Nugest's feet..ot?  Nugest gets to break both his arms?

 And if  we  win, You and  Your SM  have to leave the planet...

 Shadow laughed a good natured Laugh...Then the  2  winners  fight  and  which ever  team wins, we follow through with the bets.

  well... CO-DS..'warrior'.. Isn't  that  a bit of a stretch.. I mean.. I'm on the front lines... you get paper cuts..

 CO-DS moved impossible  fast.. several of the crew stood  some ladies   screamed.. But  Shadow   Spun away.... CO-DS looked dumbfounded..

  CO-DS  started  again  Shadow  crouched this time  and   started to spin, CO-DS was  ready for the spin, but not the Feint, Shadow's   left  fist hit  him  on the left cheek., of the Angel,   sending the  Angel into   the  towels where  Waggles   aways  and they tossed Hom back into play..

   Shadow's silence  and Big grinned , angered   the Major   more then the pain in his cheek. he  charged again, and , for what ever  reason, Shadow  planted his left leg into the   ground, CO-DS smiled and the Vibra Blade  slammed into Shadow's thigh..  The scream of  pain from  Shadow was  short.. CO-DS  was trying to  bring the blade  back out to get a cheap second  strike..But  Shadow's Left  hand   gripped the Major's   hand   hard enough    for Him to  let out  a Yelp..but..Shadow was keeping the blade, right where it was..

 It was only then, CO-DS realized his Mistake.. as  Shadow's  blade slammed into the  side of the Major's chest,where the Angels  heart is..but  a inch or  so Below...His  scream was Longer   and higher.. and  Shadow  held   both blades  where they were. Shadow's .pain was enough to have  tears  come out  of  his eyes..but a  snarling Grin  showed even as  CO-DS  Convulsed... Stefi  screamed for Shadow to   let him Go..   . TA-LI Separated  them, CO-DS went to the  Ground  in convulsions.. TA-LI  removed the  blade from  CO-DS... Stefi remove d  the one from  Shadow's  leg.

 Stefi  yelled..You idiot..you let him stab you!

 Chess...not checkers...he sacrificed  one  blow, to end the  contest Roles  was laughing.

  Shadow  Handed  Roy  the Vibra Blade..Get us a clean sweep , Roy.. to many of our ladies  watching for us to lose..right?

Smuggins looked   at the angel, the Med techs  were strapping him  on a stretcher.Ok..Mr  Marine.. now you get to see  how mercs  fight..

 Shadow winced  as he  limped over to the towel and sat down..he was   rubbing the area where the  burn marks said the blade entered.

Roy grimaced at Dusk's question.  "Well, your dad does what we call back on Earth "taking people down a peg or two".  He doesn't necessarily go looking for a fight...he goes looking for someone who carries themselves like they're superior to everyone else.  Generally, enlisted personnel don't ever develop that kind of attitude.  We work for a living, we don't generally have the luxury of basking in the glory of our positions and trying to make people think we're the best thing to come along.  That's usually officer territory, sometimes diplomats.  And you'll notice, if you watch him long enough, that unless someone's taking liberties with one of the crew, he doesn't start the fight.  He'll push their buttons and try to provoke them, but he's never the one issuing the challenge."

He glanced over at Dusk and grinned.  "That's one of the ways you recognize the people who are actually really good...they don't need to prove it to anyone, they know how good they are. You see someone talking about how good they are?  They're trouble waiting to happen, because they're nowhere near as good as they think they are, and that's gonna get them and anyone with them in harm's way."

And, at that point, Shadow called out, and Roy rolled his eyes briefly.  "I'll be back.  Time to go cover your dad's back...and finish what Smuggins almost got last night."

As he walked over to where Shadow and the Angel major were going to square off, he grumbled audibly, "Can't we just once have a quiet day at the beach?  Is there some secret memo circulating to the dumbasses out there that they should show up at the beach every time we get here?"

He watched the fight, seeing Shadow bait the trap that the Angel practically dove headlong into, and shook his head, his lips pursed slightly in disapproval...whether it was at Shadow giving up the shot to the leg in order to make it a shorter contest, or at CO-DS so eagerly biting on it, he gave no indication.

He took the blade from Shadow, looking thoroughly unimpressed with Smuggins' bravado.  "I've seen how mercs fight...Roles has been side by side with us since we shipped out.  But I suppose I can entertain this, for the sake of seeing you kiss Nugest's feet.  You should thank Captain Si and Captain Dusk for interceding last night...and the LC for giving me a reason to leave you capable of moving on your own."  He took up a position that, to the casual observer, looked like poor preparation for a knife fight...but those who knew their business could recognize the relaxed position, ready to move, weight forward on the balls of his feet, his balance centered and ready to shift.

"Bring it on, pretty boy.  Let's see if you're actually worthy of having anyone follow you into battle..."

  Smuggins    handled the Balde  well enough. To  some  people , the Vibra  Blad e was  weird. , hardly   any  weight as the Blade  was   Colored  ions that were meant to stimulate... however.. when used   as weapon..the stimulation  could cause.

 Don't you worry, SM... I'm a bit smarter then an Angel....I finish you.  I'll have
 no problem  with   the LC  and  his  leg..

    Smuggins  tried  to  circle a bit, trying to get  Roy's  back to the water.. He prances in a few     Times with the  Dagger held over his head m the   blade  pointed to Roy like a serpent. Fi8nally , some  Jab  steb at  Roy , and Smuggins  came after  him with a  figure eight  Lash ut

 Meari smiled at Rip and said," We are honored, yes I am Udenese, I hope we can get back to my planet I would love to show you both Uden, it is so beautiful." This is the first time she has sowed real emotion.

 Meari giggled at Rips response to the armor needing sizing.

 Meari responded to the street fight comment," Ah I see you grew up on the streets and fought to live, I respect that. I was raised a warrior on hand to hand to fight the larger, stronger, tougher Verians. They are more robotic then Udenese are, and harder to fight. We had been at war with Adem and the Verians for centuries, now thanks to the APF Verian has been conquered and Uden controls our entire system."

 Meari really smiled and said," I will teach you Uden Martial arts and I think you would do well with the Udenese paired boot knives, I have been training with them since before I could walk."

 Meari giggled and after Rip talked about the net she shook her head and added," That is a Volleyball net, havent you heard of Volleyball the LC my Uncle, showed me how to play, and I watched videos of the game. Mu height helps as well." Meari just noticed Tarja who wasnt a small human was very small in this group.

 Then shit broke out and Meari looked over and watched, she was ready to step in if needed, or the other EMS got out of line. She watched the LC take down the Angel, then it was the SM's turn.

 Sam smiled and put her blanket down, and then took off her covering showing off her petits nice body and all her scars in her very sexy bikini, not leaving much to the imagination at all. Sam then sat down on the blanket and said," Would you mind putting lotion on me I will burn if I dont with my complexion."

 But before Zob could respond the contest got started and the LC beat the Mahor easily and now it was Roy's turn.

Every time Smuggins tried to box Roy in between him and the water, Roy took an extra step around, basically reversing their positions, still not showing his intentions beyond not letting Smuggins pen him in.  When Smuggins made his jabbing feint, Roy turned three-quarters to him, minimizing the target area that was available and keeping his knife hand away from Smuggins...

And then Smuggins attacked.  Not aggressively, but he moved in enough to possibly score a hit...except Roy wasn't there, he'd backpedaled.  And as soon as Smuggins slowed to start pulling back, Roy struck, his offhand engaging Smuggins' knife arm like a fencing blade and twisting it around and away as Roy pressed in...and planted the knife in Smuggins' armpit in a blow that would have nearly severed his arm, had the blades been real.

Smuggins screamed in surprise, dropping the knife as the nerves in his arm went dead with the effects of the training blades, and tried to find some way to escape...but Roy had already withdrawn, and settled back into that neutral ready stance.

"You don't need your arm to kiss Nugest's feet," he said, clinically.  "And it's two out of three hits...pick up the knife, unless you want to give up now."

Smuggins gave him the panicked look of a trapped animal.  There were other EMS personnel on the beach, and while none of them looked to be eager to jump into the fight, there was no question that he'd catch hell if he gave up so soon.  Hesitantly, he moved toward the knife, Roy watching him with careful detachment.

So Roy noticed his eyes narrow and a snarl creep onto his lips as he started to bend down to retrieve the knife...and Roy was already moving when Smuggins tried flipped a fistful of sand at him, in an attempt to blind him.  But Roy wasn't there when the sand arrived, he was a good five meters to the right of where he'd been, and he audibly tsk'ed a couple of times.

"I stopped falling for that before I even made it to high school.  Pick up the knife, or turn around and take the second shot like a man."  Roy gave a soft snort and added, "Or save yourself the pain and quit."

Smuggins let out a scream of rage and frustration, grabbing the knife and rushing Roy, intending to bowl him over and make him pay...but as he rushed, Roy sidestepped to his left, putting himself on Smuggins' injured side.  As Smuggins tried a mad slash at him, Roy dropped to one knee and lashed out, burying the training blade in the meaty part right behind Smuggins' hip.  The merc's whole right leg went dead, and Smuggins pitched headlong into the sand, his scream of pain stifled when the air got knocked out of his body by the impact with the ground.

"That's two."  Roy stood up, walking over to Smuggins to retrieve both blades, returning them to their case.  He wasn't taking chances on Smuggins lashing out for a cheap shot, as he walked back over and hauled the merc to his feet.  "But you didn't surrender after the first shot, which actually surprised me.  If you ever get your shit together and find something to actually fight for, you might just make a half decent officer."  He half-helped, half-dragged Smuggins back to where they were waiting to deactivate the effects of the blades.

"If I find out you welched on your bet, it won't be a training blade next time..." he warned.  "But I will be satisfied with a sincere public apology to Sergeant Nugest, since you tried to put up a good fight."

Rip felt Near I warming up to him.  Good, a military unit like a gang needed to be like a family.  Even if heads needed to be knocked around.  Rip, while squatting next to Tar', tracing a finger in the sand, felt relaxed.  Again, he wondered why that was.

"I look forward to our training.  My current, blade is in my bag, but would be very interested in how you fight with a pair of twin boot blades."  He avoided the topic of her people's war with the Verians, as he only ever caught snippets of it.  He would look to Tar', realizing from her past experiences, to Meari, over the top of his shades, the Galaxy was not as rosey as the PR masters back at his colony had made it to be.  Through he was glad Meari's people had triumph.  He realized he would need someone to give him a crash course on Galactic History.

"Volley Ball."  He pronounced the name in two parts.  "Anything like Basketball?"  He responded, never having heard of it.  There were no beaches where he was from.  Perhaps the could get Meari or, specifically Tar' to show him the sport.

When the contest with the blades broke out, Rip jumped to his feet.  Watching the Angel combatant lose to... That was Shadow, Rip realized!  "Whooohooo!  Yeah!  Go Shadow!"  He cheered like a little school boy watching a school bully being taken down.  Raising his arm up in victory for the Hero of Heremes.

The second pairing, he wasn't as sure, thinking he did recognize the human though.  "The Angels don't like us being here?" He looked to Tar' and his lips twisted in disgust, asking the open ended question with what was going on.  Cheering as the member of the Hermes won.  He would have to find out who that man was.  "Good fight.  That is why I want to serve with the likes of you." Rip exclaimed to Tar' and Meari.

  Smuggins   Nodded his head, he looked  at Roy, a Side  Glance  as  Shadow who gave him the  smile.

  Captain Smith  helped  Smuggi8ns  as  they  went  to Nugest  who was helping kids  with a  trench for  thier  Sand  Castle.

  Smith    supported   Smuggins SGT Nugest.... I... I  apologize   for  the  way i spoke  about you..you..you  are a warrior...

 Nugest  looked confused,Nugest not  care? You wear funny unifrom.. I only worry if they   say bad things  about nugest..You go  playe with others. You in way of  mighty castle!

 Shadow   grinned   as  Smuggins  got lead  away,   He  stood  and   walked with the stiff  leg as the nerves  slowly returned  to normal, he  gave   Roy a  warriors shake.I'm getting ti like  Vibra Blades!..good j9ob.

Roy returned the shake, although he was less enthusiastic about the blades.  "I wasn't kidding when I told him he should be grateful to the Captains...and to you.  He was about two seconds away from a beating of significant proportions up on the roof last night, and so caught up in what he was saying that he didn't catch the lifeline I gave him to get himself out of it.  If the Captain and Dusk hadn't shown up at just that moment, we were gonna have a lot more than words."

He snorted softly, a roguish grin creeping onto his face.  "And if you hadn't specified that he'd need to make amends to Nugest, somehow, I'd have used that blade to give him a temporary lobotomy.  But I didn't want him stuck drooling and disoriented..."

He glanced around at the EMS personnel who'd been watching, who had suddenly found something to make themselves very busy.  "But I'm pretty sure the non-Fleet mercs just got a pretty hefty reality check..."

Madison watched as Kray stood off against the angel Major. She thought it was going to be a fist fight, but they brought out vibroblades. It was crazy and stupid. They were risking their lives for nothing but pride. The angel was fast, but not fast enough as Kray was able to avoid his attacks. Madison bit her lip wincing as the two men went back and forth, but then CO-DS stabbed Shadow's leg, causing her to cringe and gasp. Fortunately, though, that spelled the end of the contest. Despite his pain, Kray held CO-DS' blade in place while stabbing the angel in the chest. She thought the major was dead, but Kray somehow managed to tick a blade in the man's chest without killing him.

Kray can and sat next to Madison. She immediately checked his leg to see how bad it was. It looked awful with burn marks around the point of entry. "What the hell, Kray. I thought you guys were just going to fist fight. Holy shit."

But the absurd competition wasn't over. Then Roy and Smuggins went around, ending with Smuggins losing as well. Madison wasn't at all impressed by any of it. It was completely unnecessary. Maybe Kray sensed her displeasure as he got up to walk around.

  Before getting up,  Shadow    just taped the burn marks..vibra blades  were made for hard core hand to hand..they hurt just as bad, if not worse the   a hard blade, but there is no Tissue  damage..its  hurt, but the  over stimulation  is  what  caused  the  pain... That Major  must have had  some  ties  to  paradise  prime.. Smuggins   i8s a dick

Zob watched the display for a few moments before turning back to Sam he already knew how it was going to end, besides he had... much better things to look at right in front of him, "Of course, now where did i put it?" he glanced around a moment before finding it and unscrewing the cap and applying the lotion to her back and slowly began to rub it in making sure to get full coverage, 'Zob focus... shes gorgeous but you need to keep it cool' he thought to himself as he finished up applying the lotion with his big hands.

Henry turned to Val where they were sunning themselves beside the BU. Can was playing in the sand near the water's edge, in clear view.

"What do you want to do today, darling? Laze in the sun or go do something?"

A damp Mila interrupted the moment, coming to lie down beside Henry and laying her head on him.

”I know…it’s just there’s so much to do and we’re getting married tomorrow and I’m just scared that something will go wrong, and everything will be ruined, and I just want it to be perfect for you!” Izzy babbled anxiously as she walked down the beach holding Lizzy’s hand, feeling quietly terrified that it would all fall apart despite Lizzy’s confident assurances that it would all be fine.

Of course Lizzy had a way about her that made anything seem possible simply because she said so, which was the main thing that had attracted Izzy to her in the first place, that pure, undeniable confidence was simply intoxicating to be around especially for someone like Izzy. And sure enough Izzy did find herself calming down, though seeing Lizzy in that skimpy, red bikini also did wonders for her anxiety. Laying out her own towel beside Lizzy’s, Izzy would remove the bottle of sun lotion and begin rubbing it onto her fiancée’s skin and finding that it did wonders for her nerves too.

Sitting down upon the beach towel, Tarja would listen as Rip and Meari talked, rolling her eyes at Rip’s comment as she spotted the obvious double entendre, though there was a hint of amusement if you knew how to read her.

She was glad to see that they were getting along, with the pair of discussing their different backgrounds and combat experiences, with Meari offering to train Rip in Udenese martial arts and knife fighting techniques ”would you be willing to teach others? I would be interested in learning martial arts…others in unit might be too, especially if it makes unit more effective” Tarja would say as she started rubbing sun lotion onto her arms, knowing that she was liable to burn easily due to her naturally pale complexion.

It was then that Rip would ask about the volleyball net and how the game was played ”not really…if memory serves you have two teams of six and aim is to get ball to hit ground in other teams side of the court” she said, looking to Meari for confirmation, with her probably knowing more of the rules than she did ”we could probably have game…if people were interested?” she then suggested, moments before some kind of fight erupted.

”I am thinking there’s different reasons for fight…only one is Angel…and they look to be military” she replied to Rip as she applied lotion to her legs, wondering if there was some kind of unit rivalry going on as it wouldn’t be the first time that troopers from two different regiments butted heads for the honour of the regiment! either way the fight was over before it had even really begun.

 Sam smiled and replied," Thank you very much, I assume your skin doesnt burn like mine?"

 Sam did watch the altercation take place, but she knew the LC and the SM could handle themselves quite well. " It feels good to relax on a planet, still very weird for me I have spent most of my life in space. I call Bura home, oh Zob did I tell you I found out I am part Burian Angel, so it seems I was stolen or taken from Bura. I have a real home now." Sam seemed very happy at this and she had a huge smile.

 Meari liked Rip, he was very rough around the edges but that was no problem. Meari watched as the SM took out Smuggins painfully and she smiled.

" When we get back I can give you a demonstration of my Kata with the Udenese paired boot knives. I think you will enjoy."   Meari was very happy to talk combat and weapons all day.

 Meari smiled at Tarja, as she sat on her blanket and replied," Yes I could train the whole AI in hand to hand with and without weapons. That is a great idea Tarja."

 " Later they will get games together we had a tournament on the last station we went too. They split Frakas and I up they didnt want all the height on one team. If they dont we can start up a game later if you wish, I will get some sun then time for swimming it is a very good exercise it works almost all of your body's muscles."

 " Well the Angel Major just thought he was better than a lowly human, and Smuggins is just an asshole." Meari informed them.

 " Ok lets sit, so Rip tell me more about yourself and can I trust you by my side in combat?"

 Lizzy and Izzy found a spot and got set up, she knew Izzy was worried but they needed to relax a little as well, Lizzy had faith they would get everything done in time, and it didnt have to be perfect, she had the perfect woman already for her so it didnt matter.

 Lizzy enjoyed when Izzy put lotion on her and then she said," Ok my turn." Lizzy then rubbed lotion into her back, legs and shoulders. " Don't worry Izzy we will get what we need done . and we can relax and enjoy the planet a bit."

Zob shook his head, "Not really it does darken a tad bit but its always a shade of orange" he said as he finished applying the lotion to her skin before taking a seat next to her, "I wouldn't wanna live here personally, but i agree it is nice to be planet side and not in a city with recycled air and artificial weather"

Zob then got comfortable as he soaked up the sun a bit, "Burian Angel eh? that must of been quite the revelation, i know I'm half human but the demonic genes are far more prominent as is quite obvious" he chuckled at that last statement before continuing, "I'm happy you have a place to call home, I'm still trying to figure that all out myself but i don't have to worry about that decision for a long time thankfully" He felt comfortable around Sam and was overall quite happy for her finding out her place of origin, the exchange so far was a breath of fresh air as he had been keeping things close to his chest for a long time now after Melia went away.

Rip went back to squatting next to Tar'.  He had noticed she had rolled her eyes at his comment about tight spaces.  His slightly gray skin darken as he realized the slip of the tongue double entendre.  He rubbed the back of his neck.  Feeling slightly embarrassed, he shrugged, for he had said far fouler things before, and if Tar' or Meari took offense, he was sure they would voice them.

He looked forward to the training Meari would give, from Tar's idea about the whole unit being trained.  Something to do with his hands, he liked that.  Nodding his head in earnest.

He glanced around, see some of the paired off members applying the lotion to each other.  His eyes did take note that Tar's skin was far more shiny from where she applied it, his eyes following her hand movements.  He grumbled to himself, wondering if he would need it.... or if Tar' would like help with her back.  Mostly in the form of unintelligible grunts.

"So like Mud Slide." He responded to Tar's explanation, followed by Meari's.  He would follow up when they would be confused.  "Errr, you take a smoothed rock, and throw it, trying to knock an opponent out, by force, such as to the head.  Three to each side, a line they can not cross, and others can catch the stone disc and get a free throw.  Though I assume it would be considered unsportsmanlike to do that in volley ball. The winner is whoever is left standing."   Rip was proud of the tunnel sport, having had many Three-Knockout games himself.

He would like to see this volley ball played.  Finding silly that they broke up Meari and Frakas.  You always wanted to stack the deck one way or another.  "I would like that.  Good way to build teamwork, yes?"  He said as Tar' and Meari made comments they would be interested in playing later.

Hearing about the difference in military units from Tar' and Meari about the Angel thinking he was better, made Rip nearly spit in disgust.  He barely kept himself from doing it, looking away in time so they didn't see his face twisted in anger.

Upon hearing Meari's request about himself, Rip would respond, after offering his hands to help Tar'.  "Errr, Tar, would you like... mind if I apply the lotion... sunblock to your back?"  It would be obvious that Rip was unused to making such overly outright request in such a manner.  He rubbed his neck, but would be forthright about the offer, not backing away from it.

As for Meari comment, he shrugged.  "Not much about me.  Grew up on a remote mining colony.  Parents died in a tunnel collapse because an Angel wanted to save money.  Look after me sis, Debs, from when I was 8.  Join the gang in the tunnels beneath our colony.  Took over after ripping the former leader's arm off, after he made to claim me sis.  Had to stay ahead of the BreakSticks, though they hardly came for us, I break their sticks over their heads if they did.  Then, the Tankards came. The BreakSticks ran, so I forced me gang to fight.  I did it for me sis and me niece.  And me sis husband.  Many died... I almost died.  Last of me Gang, in a former mining Mech.  Then the marines show up.  Barely a hundred left out of ten thousand.  The Mouth Pieces for the Navy try and make me a hero.  So I said, sure, but I fight with other Heroes.  The crew of the Hermès.  So I am here.  Ready to serve.  Fight Demons.  I do not run from a fight.  You, Tar', and anyone in the unit can count on me."  Rip would say this, applying lotion to Tar's back if she had accepted.  If not, he would just stay in a squat position between the two ladies.  The venom with how he said Angel or Demon, was rough from his throat, and the veins on his neck and forehead would bulge.

  Vaka, looks around, most people where sunning, although Will and Cora  had  come out   just a bit a go. I think sun  first?.. then we can splash   around, then get more  sun Then we  can come out  and sun more!

 Ensign  Six walked  around with her  2  piece. She  spotted  Shadow  and Maddy , shadow was  just turning  back to the towel as Maddy  caught some rays. she stopped  near them.Is it OK  if  a Sit By you folks? I'm still tryign to get to  know people.

 Shadow  eased himself   some on the towel. Stefi  tossed an Ampule of  liquid  Derma foam to Shadow,Inject that,  Killmonger. It will sooth the   nerves  and you can walk like  a normal person, well...except everyone know you aren't normal!  she Moved   off , Major TA-Li took the  ampule,   broke the   tip  and slip it into the  spot where the Burn mark was..

 CO-DS...has  made the  move to secure himself  a spot  close to  The High Chair... It is good  you put  him in his place...it is not so good that he will recover... her  Voice was soft and Low, only Shadow  and Mady heard  the  words.., she took shaodow hand   adn placed the empty   ampule on his hand.. the  tin  , broken light bulb, tatoo was  ...just..visible on the under side of her  wrist..

 She Got Up and  Joined Stefi who had a pair of  Angel...officers?..close to her  and  she was Introducing  them to TA-LI  when she  arrived.

 Shadow looked at   Maddy...Loks  like  me and you get a bonus  round tonight...

 Six  popped her head  up..Holy  heck!..did she  just ask you to...  Shadow's hand went over he r Mouth..as the   outburst caught  some attention...

 Yeah,,but you know,  Ensign  Six..  I'm seeing Maddy now..so there is no use  pushign rumore that the good major  Hit on me...

Six's eyes  got  wide  as she realized her outburst... a few people who turned to listen,  heard Shadow's response , rolled thier  eyes  and  went back to what they were doing.

 Don't know if  i need a driver.. Maddy , as you have, proved to have the skills..and? i can awlays drive myself...

 comon!  That was a bit  rush... Maddy? what do you think.. you and Shadow on the ground  and me as your driver?  he vocie was a whisper, some people saw her  talking to the  pair and  all kinds of  ideas  popped in thier heads.

  Dusk   relaxes   as  Roy returns.is it  true, that   Father  orders  a list of  annoying people, to arrive, just to, keep in Practice?  Captain Rivets  said that  at teh Ball last night?

 she giggled  when she was    finished  as the  sun played on her  shifting  skin colors.

Rivets  sat down with  Captain Morris, hiding him a pair   of Hotdogs  and a soda..Ah.. ye  see  the Lad  and  the SM , always get ta have a good time m=, when we are on shore leave...

 Morris  smiled a bit as he said,Quite!  It is always  , very noticeable, that their good time,Involves, bad  times  for others...

 aye, to that, But  ye get what ye  pay for, an' that's me sayin'

 NA-CE smiled and laid on her stomach on her towel, " Yes I can do that, and it sounds great." Then she handed Vaka some lotion and said," Could you rub this into my back, butt, and legs please?"

 Vaka looked at the Lotion. then looked around, seeing some others  doing the  same thing.Is this a mating  rite?  because..i don't think i need such a rite to mate with you..but. if it  adds pleasure, i will do it...

The  Occui   looked  over  joyed  as she  worked on her legs.. he still looked up now and then to wonder how they could do this in Public!

Henry waited for a response from Val, idly stroking Mila's head and wishing that damp dog did not smell quite so bad... then realised that Val had fallen asleep.

He looked down to the shore, where Can was playing in the shallows with Boris the Bear. They seemed to be getting along well together, a relief. He'd been concerned at how long the bear was taking to settle down. Maybe a special friend was just what he needed.

He'd also noticed the 'larg patrol' and was interested to see who was participating. Would the newcomers step up to take their place in the rotation or would it only be the old guard? He was amused that Mila had taken a turn. He knew a lot of people called her the 'fur-larg' and wondered how she saw herself.

    Freddie or Larry   would  send  a  New Larg out   when the  'current ' larg was  halfway past the  party  area..easy to see because of the  roped off   areas. The  New Largs  seeme d  Confused , but    they only  had  to follow the previous  Larg.

 Larry seemed to send  a  'vet'  before  and after  a new  larg went  out, Larry  Sat on his Haunches   his head turning as if he surveyed they land he ruled

”I am known to have them on occasion…unarmed to begin with I think, then take it from there” Tarja replied with the hint of a smile as she continued to apply the lotion to her legs, more than happy to train the AI in whatever would make them even more dangerous to the enemy.

The conversation would then turn to that of volleyball and a rather more violent game that Rip had played in the tunnels of his home ”maybe we make team with AI? Have AI vs Marines vs Pilots? Nice to have friendly competition and bragging rights” she added, when Meari mentioned they’d had a tournament on a previous occasion. It was then that Rip would ask if she needed any help applying the lotion to her back. There was the briefest moment of hesitation before she replied ”yes please, that would be very nice of you” before handing him the bottle and lying down on her front.

She would be able to feel the strength within his large hands, yet despite this he was remarkably gentle as he gently rubbed the lotion onto her back, eliciting a relaxed sigh from Tarja as she lay there and allowed her mind to indulge in a little fantasy as Rip and Meari talked.

 While    Maddy  dozed  in the  sun,  a sharp whistle  was heard...hey! hotshot!.. throw the ball around!

 Shadow looked  up, Just in time to snag the ball  a few feet from his head, he got up and  tossed the  thing  back to Miller  who  made a bouncing catch in her Bikini.  General  Bale sat and watched   as he and Miller shared a blanket. The Provost General not really in shape for that  kind of   activity.

  Miller and Shadow threw the Ball, Miller  would throw it out  towards the  water, Forcing  Shadow to make a diving catch, Just to get him  wet, Shadow didn';t  mind too much, the forec  of the water,  was practice  for takign a  hit.

 Dana  waved her   hand as she bounced  down the   sand,   and Now  Miller had her two reciver  splashing around.

   Soon, Shade  stood  By Miller to catch the throw backs, and hand them to the QB  to throw.

As her small, dainty hands gently worked the lotion into Lizzy’s skin, Izzy would quietly marvel at how she could be so relaxed about everything, with her wondering if it was because she was a fighter pilot, or whether being cool under pressure was what made her a good pilot ”There, that should stop you turning as red as a lobster” Izzy giggled, with her having briefly mimicked Lizzy’s Boston accent. It still wasn’t perfect but it was certainly getting better.

With Lizzy then saying it was her turn, Izzy would position herself in front Lizzy and hand her the bottle. Needless to say it wouldn’t take long for Izzy to relax as her fiancées hands moved across her body ”hmm that feels nice” Izzy quietly murmured, with her obviously enjoying the pampering she was receiving.

NA-CE giigled and said," No, well maybe, it is easier for someone else to put lotion on it does get a little erotic at times." When Vaka finished she turned over and said," Thank you Vaka, now when you are ready to hit the water let me know."

 Vaka  tilted his head...if we go in the water now?  I'll get to rub mor  lotion on you when we come back?... I say. lets go now!  he grinned.

   Lirg  still had the two  Hyrians  ladies  taking to him close to the water

 Sam smiled and replied," Ah that makes sense, the Blue Moon is nice but I love Bura, Bura is so beautiful."

 Sam giggled and replied," Yes I am part angel, but I didnt get their height thats for sure oh well. Yeah Alison thought I looked like I had Angel in me and she did a DNA test, so ironically my homeworld was Bura after all. Thank you Zob, but I have another home as well as you do , the Hermes is our home."

 " It is nice to be on a real planet for a little while, breathe real air and have a real lake to swim in. This feels nice, so let me know when you want to hit the water ok."

 Meari smiled at Rip and said," Well Tarja I like him, if he wishes to join the AI I think he will be an asset, not like Brian, I should have cut him in two. Thank you for sharing, my life is also easy but being Warlord Lilit's Grandmod, it was never easy. I am a warrior has always been a warrior, been fighting my whole life, now I was assigned to the Hermes to help win the war, and now you are joining us."

 Meari looked at Tarja, " Yes hand to hand first and if anyone wishes to learn some weapons we can do that after. Tarja that sounds like a great idea I think they did the games after lunch time I think, we will see. If you wish I could show you both a few things on the sand."

 Lizzy giggled when Izzy tried to do her Bostonian accent," Not bad baby, we can work on it." Lizzy giggled some more. " I am glad you lie it, ok I got a the spots I can here, lets lay out for just a bit, then hit the water then we get every done, love you Izzy."

"You just can't not get into a scrap can you?" Madison shook her head as Stefi fixed up Kray's damaged thigh. She heard Stefi lament that CO-DS was close to taking a postion close to the most high. If there was a reason that was a bad thing aside from him being a dick she didn't hear it, but somehow Kray understood that as a kill request.

Before she could clear that up, Six joined them, wanting in on the new Op. "Okay, so I just need to understand this." She was almost whispering. "I assume the Angel Leadership can make their own decisions about who should be elevated to what position. We're planning on running an op to, um, remove someone from consideration based on our feelings? If that's the rules we're working under, that's fine, but I just need to know we're okay with that. If so, Six can drive. I want in on the ground game."

 NA-CE giggled and replied," Well yes you would, ok lets go now then Vaka." NA-CE really liked Vaka, she got up and said," Ok lets go have some fun." NA-CE then ran into the water and had fun with Vaka in the water.

  Shadow   shook his head... The Admiral has a reason for everything. Major TA-LI   suddenly gets   assigned to the hermes, to make up for   our revloving doot  of med techs?.. did you see the   'lights out ' mark on her  wrist... CO-DS might be making  NA-LE   smiel and moan too much, to remember this  guy was  only a few steps away from being a Mover  and Shaker  on Paradise Prime..when i asked him to pick a 2nd, he chose Smuggins?.. a Pure bred   Angel, picks Smuggins..a merc human..   I wanted to see who his right hand  was.. and Roy beat him up  good.. But  CO-DS   has to go.. I'm thinking  we go out to eat, somewhere.. Six  can be
 our driver,,and we go  break into his  home.. steal what we  need to steal  and   cap him when he comes back..then..the milkshakes are on me!

"Okay. Well if he's a bad guy, then he's a bad guy. And he's an idiot. Picking a fight only calls attention to himself. He deserves what's coming just for that. I like milk shakes."

Roy grimaced at Dusk's question.  "I wouldn't take that statement too literally," he said, with a soft snort of amusement.  "Shadow doesn't need to request a list, people like that tend to show up all on their own," he explained.

He looked around, noting the larg patrol around the party's perimeter, and gave a little grin before he continued.  "These are the people who are trying to convince everyone that they should be the ones in charge, and they're usually doing it based entirely on ego and without any real qualifications.  They're the kind of people that enjoy trying to establish a higher position in the pecking order..."

He stopped and looked at her.  "That term probably doesn't mean anything to you...never lived on a farm and had time to watch animals.  Most social animals establish their own social heirarchy, to figure out who's the leader and who follows and how far down the line they are to get to eat or which ones are at the back of the line if they're running away from predators, stuff like that.  Humans and other similar races do it, too, although some of them are more insidious about it.  Like, CO-DS is all chummy with the current leadership of the Moon, and he expects to be treated accordingly...he's not going to try and face down Admiral Hack, because the Admiral is clearly at a higher status level.  But the Hermes WC?"  Roy grinned.

"Now, that's someone he can challenge, and if he wins, it elevates his status here.  So he tried, last night at the ball...playing the big man to see if Shadow would back down.  If Shadow had, it wouldn't have changed anything on the surface...but other people here would have seen it, and they would accordingly adjust their own regard for him.  His voice would carry more weight in policy-setting, people would be more inclined to back him against challenges...that sort of thing."  He shrugged, and continued, "But Shadow didn't back down.  Just the opposite...Shadow kinda made him look stupid.  A guy who doesn't even command his own ship faced down the Angel who looks to be angling to make himself the Number Two man on the Blue Moon.  And all those people who might have backed him, in the previous scenario?  Now they're dismissing him.  So, he figures if he can't make Shadow back down socially, he'll beat him physically.  It's damage control...he already lost the social gambit, so there's a certain group that will forever regard him as socially inept and therefore not worthy of being part of planetary leadership.  But if he beats Shadow, there's still a bunch of fence-sitters who will fall in behind him."

He shrugged, and gave a feral grin.  "Except he didn't beat Shadow.  It wasn't even a close contest.  The one hit that he scored on Shadow was a trap and he got caught in it, very publicly.  So now those would-be backers are writing him off...he didn't have the social skills to be a leader, he didn't have the fighting skills to be a leader, so they're starting to question how he got as far as he did in the first place.  And that's usually the first step towards someone's downfall."

He arranged the wedge pillow and leaned back, settling some sunglasses over his eyes.  "Your dad has a knack for sniffing out the people who are actually competent...if they're competent and they fight on our side, he'll make sure they get moved up in their positions.  That's how Elge ended up being in charge of Security on Etna.  If they're competent and they fight for the other side, well...they don't stay alive for very long.  And if they're incompetent?  Well, he makes sure everyone in the area knows about it.  CO-DS could have saved himself some trouble and just taken the social loss with grace...it would have been great damage control.  Instead, he tried to push it further...and he got knocked down even more than he already had been."

Roy stretched and leaned back, looking to enjoy the sun.  "Your dad's a lightning rod...he attracts people like that.  He doesn't need to ask for them to be delivered...they congregate on their own, because they see him...his position, his record, his notoriety...and think they just found a new target.  They don't realize this target shoots back..."

  Dusk laid down.inching a bit closer to Roy..well..   I always see it  happen.. I saw   Adem and heard  about Lilit, father  has a firm belief  in  Luck, but doesn't luck something turn bad?  Beth showe   me the Vids  of  father 'recruiting ' the new Largs, that was down right Midless!

 so.. unless you  have to go kill more people tonight?  Do you thing  a certain SM would  take a certain Captain out to dinner..somepalce that doesn;t have  pizza? she grinned at the last part.

  Vaka tried  to   tackle   NA-CE  in the  water, it was  rough  for him to    do   so he     just tripped her. he was   chuckling  , his 'top of a flower ' hair  plastered  down

Rip took his time with applying the lotion.  Knowing he was built for breaking, he did not push his hands into Tar' as hard as he could.  Yet even his softest touch he still worked over Tar's back like a deep massage.  His fingers finding her hard muscles enjoyable to touch.  When it came to the areas covered by her bikini, the top was easy, he just worked his fingers under the straps.  It was the bottom he was worried about, but she could aways object, so he just asked.  "Work it under?  Or just to the edge?"

He would glance from Tar's back to Meari as Meari talked about her past. "From the sound of it, we are all warriors in our own way.  Glad that the two of you are welcome me to the AI."  He smirked.  Amazon women.  That was the term Rip remembered his sis referred to warrior women.  Tar' and Meari were both examples in their own way, of that.

Listening to the idea of an AI team greatly pleased him.  As did Meari offering to demonstrate her martial arts.  He was glad that he wasn't an outcast.  A thought struck him.  Well two.  "There an unofficial nickname for the unit?  I talk to Tar' here before, but a unit like this needs a tattoo.  A symbol.  Heh, do you have a tattoo Meari?"  He would point to his blood dagger looking like it was erupting from his chest, then to Tar's old unit Tattoo as a point of pride.

When he finished working the lotion all along Tar's back, shoulders, neck, and the back of her legs, he still found reasons to go back for a touch up.  After the second time he bit his lip, realizing he didn't have a reason to apply anymore lotion to her.  So he knelt back and closed the lid on the lotion bottle.

Realizing he was hungry, and talk of lunch got him think, he felt his belly rumble, quite loudly.  "When is lunch?"  He asked.

Zob nodded, "Bura is a wonderful place, Orria had thoughts of wanting to settle down there but that choice is hers to make" he then looked on towards the water, "It's my home until the war is over after that we shall see" he said with a smile as he stood up and extended his hand to her, "You might not of got their height but you certainly exceeded them in looks, about that water how about now?"

With Rip’s hands working their way across her body, working out the knots in her shoulders and back, Tarja would close her eyes and  rest her head on her arms and listen as the others talked, softly murmuring to Rip ”hmm work it under…” in response to his question, with her clearly enjoying herself.

Unfortunately this would be short lived as Meari brought up Brian, intimating that he was no longer around ”What!? What happened with Brian? What fuck did he do now!” Tarja replied in a horrified voice, her eyes snapping open and locking onto Meari as she pushed herself up onto her elbows, as her dreams of expanding the team into a full platoon came to a jarring halt.

Once Meari had explained the situation Tarja would mutter something in Finnish, with you not needing to be an expert in languages to understand that she was far from happy and uttering words that would have made her mother blush.

Settling back down onto her towel Tarja would try and recapture the relaxed feeling she’d had as the conversation progressed to more enjoyable topics ”I have heard us referred to as Lobsters by marines…but not sure it is name I want to encourage” she replied with her uncertain that they had been around long enough to gain a nickname ”…also I think there are food stalls at edge of beach” she added, nodding her head towards what looked to be a collection of stalls at the edge of the beach and town.

  At The Volley ball pit, Supe  and Hodden ( who were both    tall, muscled  people.  and Minnet who was shorter , but still had the    shoulders of  heavy weapons  troper, as well as Tucker. who was  only an inch taller then  Minnet, and looked  normal, m but the muscles in his arms and chest  showed   his  Job as   Ammo  carrier/loader, for the heavy weapons  teams paid off. Hoke was with them as well. being  Zob's personal  Loader, he  fit right in with the HW  team, along with Zob, Nugest, Frakas  and Lirg  would be  part of that  team, with Lirg  and Zob being over watch,   and Zob being able to join the heavy   weapons array when needed. while  Lirg sniped  people to death

   Nugest  came ambling over  when  Supe called for him..Lirg as still busy  hitting  on the    Hyrian female who stayed , frakas  was  on  the blanket  while waiting  for   Meari

  Larry came  prancing  up the  shore.. he   found Shadow and   thumped the sand  with his tail as he Nudged  The LC,

 I don';t know  if I can do  that any more, Buddy?  I mean..last weight you had  was pushing 600 lbs!

 larry kept  nudging him...gods  be damned... alright.. I'll try one  time int eh water... he looked at   Maddy , I'll be back, he likes  me  to throw him into the  water at least once..Last time  i tried   i almost  got squashed..

  they walked  down to the water.. Larry leaping  about  like a Puppy.. Gregory Left   Haley and Roll  to  Join In..

   The LC sighed, it was easy to pick out Hermites.. they didn't flinch when dangerous  , 6 legged   lizards    strolled through the  crowd.

  Shadow    Lifted  up   Gregor, which, was now, like lifting up a great Dane,  Gregor's tail   tried to thump  . but  just  went up and down in the air,  as  Shadow tossed the beastie   out into the  water.. the  Larg hit the  water  swam around in a couple circles  before  returning to the  Shore  thumping the tail madly.

 Shadow Looked   at Larry  who looked  at him  with anticipation...he sighed  and hand the larg go into deeper  water  with  him..Ok, Buddy..one time... no matter  who good or bad it goes... they were in  waist high water, Shadow  got under the  massive Larg  and, struggling to lift him, even with the help of the water.. Once he  cleared the   water,  shadow's   arms neck and chest bulged  as his teeth   grimaced.  With everything   Shadow  had, he  Managed to throw  larg about 2  yards  into  deeper  water..and for  that short  flight of  2 yards, Larry felt like a puppy  again.

  Role was  Jumping up and down and clapping ,, Larry  swam a few  circles around Shadow   as he finally  nudged Shadow, and the LC  have the   Big head a hug. As  Larry pranced off  towards   Roy, Gregor  Looked up at Shadow... Shadow sighed...Last one, Nut Ball...  and soon Gregor  was out in the  water  again while Roll and Haley Giggled    at the smaller larg  came out of the water  happy as a Angel clam...you know..if there are Angel clams...

 the   sun became  shadow  as  a wet  Larg snorted  at  Roy,   Dusk  Giggled..Larry's tail thumped the  sand  causing    Shoey to complain  about  sand   debris.

 NA-CE let Vaka tackle her in the water, and one time he fell on top of her with his face in her chest. NA-CE smiled and did the same to Vaka, they had a fun time playing in the water. NA-CE stood up and had fun with Vaka again splashing him and they she tackled him and she ended up with her legs over Vaka's head, with his face right between NA-CE's legs.  They both were having a great time and Vaka got some nice views of NA-CE amazing body.

 Meari did explain everything that happened with Brian and they would deal with him after shore leave. Meari moved closer to Frakas and asked him to put some lotion on her, but she wasnt sure if her skin burned like humans. " I do not think we have made a big enough name for ourselves to be given a nickname yet, but we will soon."

 When Rip talked about food Meari smiled and agreed with Tarja and said," Frakas and I had a big breakfast at the Condo that the LC made, I helped out by cooking the bacon. Yes there are food stalls over there, they should be open if you two are hungry."

 Sam smiled when Zob brought up Orria loving Bura," Well I can definitely help Orria get settled on Bura when the time comes, I do have a little pull there." Sam giggled and was having a great time with Zob.

" Yes the Hermes is but after I will be going to settle on Bura." When Zob said his comment about her looks she smiled, blushed some and replied," Well thank you Zob, I guess great things do come in smaller packages sometimes, and yes we can head for the water, but that means when we get back you need to put more lotion on me, I hope that is ok." Sam smiled and then took off running for the water with her short legs, Knowing Zob could catch her easily, as she ran for the water.

  Vaka  was having the time of his life,  it seemed so long ago, someof his  own peole left him for dead, and the SM  and Shadow  helped get his things back, and sent those who stole from Him, on s hip with demon prisoners, on course for Vampra.

 Now he was  playing on the  beach with an Angel woman!

 Orria and Runner   were playing in the water together, they both were talking and  smiling shyly at each other.

  Orria  did  . half wave"  to Zob as she  kept her attention on Runner.

 frakas  smile d as he reached  for the Lotion, four  hands  moving at different  quadrants of  meari's body  as his  smiled  while saying,I do not know if this Lotion thing, is for the Male..or the female!

 SHade     was sitting  with Maria and  Magin, Maria got up  Gave  Shadow  a   hug and a smile to Magin as she went off to the water..There  she was interceoted  by Mann  and they went swiming together..   Maygin and Shade    laid  back on the elbows,   Magins  gray skin turning darker gray... Shades shifting skin only showed the   'cream' color   , getting a tiny bit  darker.

Jason finds a spot to sit and watch the things going on around the beach. Enjoying the sun and wind Jason finds himself very relaxed despite so many people around.

 NA-CE saw Vaka was having a great time, NA-CE was too. She smiled and after another tackle they ended up in each other's arms in the sand as the water came up to them. " Now that was fun Vaka, want to try something else, swim, or hit the sun again?"

”hmm ok” Izzy softly replied before lying down upon the towel with a giggle and unhooking her bikini top so that Lizzy could apply the lotion to her back unimpeded by any of the straps ”Well I guess I’ll just have to keep practicing…after all any kids we have will no doubt have it” she said, once again mimicking the Boston accent before allowing herself to be pampered some more.

"I'm just an ensign." Madison smirked. "Whoever you say is a bad guy, is a bad guy to me. Just point me in the right direction and I'll shoot them." She bot her lip thinking hard about what she just said. "Wow. Listen to me. I think my war goggles are all fogged up."



"Um.. okay." Madison was still a bit uneasy about Largs. Having transported the one by herself and having one named after her helped, but it still didn't erase the awareness that Larry could bite her in half with just a flinch of his head. It was really terrifying, but she tried not to show it. "You have fun with that. I'll watch from here with Six."

"Larry, try not to squash him."

Madison settled back on the towel, raise up on her elbows and full front towards the sun. She watched as Kray took Larry to the water and managed to throw him about 6 feet. It wasn't far, but if the creature really was 600lbs, that made the feat pretty damn impressive. Nodding in approval, the sun wasn't the only thing making her hot.

  Shadow  returned to the  towels...he's been eating way too many people... there was a time  i  could toss him like gregor!  he laughed  as Larry  went over to pester   Roy and Dusk.

   so you eating up rays, or  do you want to splash  around a bit?

 Howe  came over  and   started talking to  Six.. Shadow grinned   as he  waited for Maddy's  answer.

 Vaka  decided they should stay in the  wate ra bit  more. whether  it was because   he lked the water, or seeing  NA-CE wet, was anyone's  guess.

 The beach was  about as full as it was goign toget..some  flks staying, some leaving , some arriving,   the VJ  started playign  Musing  and a   spot was   rped off   for dancing

Rip was eager to work the lotion into Tar's rear.  Having watched her butt as they walked the trail earlier, he took time sliding his hands under her bikini bottom, working his fingers in.  Then snapping her suit against her back when she rose to her elbows.  Having not met Brian, he was only distraught at not having a full unit.

He did enjoy hearing Tar curse in her native tongue.  Trying to repeat something he heard her say. "Lobsters.  Not sure I am familiar with it, but we need something that strikes Fear in our foes.  Intimidation as important as any weapon."  He laughed.  Looking over to Meari as Frakas began to work lotion onto her.

"If it was just the ladies, you could look into Amazons of old Tales.  Heard my Sis say they were fearsome,.and took males only as breeding stock."  He grinned at the image, rubbing his chin at the thought of the two just dragging a man back to their quarters.  He shook his head.  "Either way, small in number, we do have great strength among us.  I am sure a name for the unit will come under Tar's leadership and your bravery Meari.  Should have seen Tar' when some sharp fangs entered her camp.  She was unfazed, striking fear into them."  He held his arm, mostly healed from the biting attack he took.

Standing up, he looked to Tar' offering to get her something from the stalls.  The long walk they had shared earlier, Rip needed something to snack on.  He would extend the same offer to Meari and Frakas, before stroling to the stalls.

 NA-Ce giggled when Vaka said more water, NA-CE was having a great time, she thinks he likes seeing her wet and laying on her in interesting positions.

 Lizzy smiled as Izzy undid her strap and laid down, Lizzy rubbed the lotion in, rubbing her shoulders, neck back and her cute butt with lotion. Then Izzy did her accent again," Not bad, soon any children we do have will have to deal with both of us talking this way." Lizzy gives Izzy a kiss on the cheek and then finishes up and lays on her back to get sun on her chest and front.

"If anybody intends me to be killing someone tonight, they are taking their damned sweet time about informing me of it.  So, yes, I'd love to take you somewhere to eat tonight...no pizza."  He grinned and added, "I think your dad would think there's something wrong with you, not wanting pizza...but there are other, extremely enjoyable food options out there."

He watched Shadow walk down the beach with Larry and Gregor cavorting around him, and shook his head.  "We're gonna have to get Nugest to start throwing Larry into the water, I think..."  He grinned, shaking his head again as Shadow actually succeeded in throwing the big larg.  He didn't throw Larry far, by any means, but the larg had definitely been airborne for at least a brief moment.

He watched Larry come back up the beach toward him, stopping and thumping his tail.  "Don't look at me...I'm not the one who feels like he has to prove anything by throwing you into the water," he said, but both his face and his tone had a teasing edge to it.

   Larry snorted   and   laid  down, Putting his  snout on  Roy's   belly, which, covered  most of his torso.

   Dusk reached over  and  Patted the tip of the snout,You are going to break  people!... You are Not a Larg Pup!

 Meari then smiled at Frakas and Rip," Oh you two go get some food, Frakas is right we need so settle our big breakfasts, see you after." Meari then headed down to the water, she saw the LC throw Larry and he was so excited, Meari looks at Frakas," How are you really, are you fit enough to help me toss Larry?"

 Frakas  looked   cautious... I do not know, if that is  somehtuing  we may assume? perhaps  we should ask Larry , if he wants to be thrown?..

 they walked over to  Roy who had  a Larg head  laying on his Torso  and Dusk smiling  as the beast.

”It is creature back on Earth, it has large pincers and hard shell” Tarja explained so Rip would get the connection as to why they could be referred to as Lobsters. Personally she liked the idea of Amazons but there was probably just as many men as there were women in the unit meaning it wasn’t exactly accurate…at least not for all of them anyway ”We’re also packing a scary amount of firepower…a 5mm gatling gun loaded with AP rounds turns most things into a pink mist” Tarja added to Meari’s assessment that they were pretty damn intimidating already.

With Rip offering to get her something from the stalls Tarja would think about it for a moment before getting up to join him ”I will go with you and take look…Meari, would you or Frakas like drink bringing?” she said to Rip before turning to Meari and asking her question, with her happy to take a walk with Rip to the food stalls and help carry it back, especially after he had applied the lotion to her body ”…oh and Frakas, I think answer to question is both”

”Oh I don’t know about that, I suspect I’d struggle to keep it up” Izzy quietly replied, with the Boston accent requiring a little concentration on her part as it didn’t come naturally. She was also quietly surprised by how readily she’d accepted the idea of her and Lizzy having children together, with her having previously been more than a little nervous about the whole idea and fearing that she would be an awful mother, though perhaps being with Lizzy was slowly changing that?

As Lizzy laid down beside her, Izzy would reach over and hold her hand as they basked in the sun.

Roy chuckled fondly, the motion barely shifting Larry's head, and he reached up to use his knuckles to rub Larry's scaly hide, just behind the jaw.  It was a spot he'd seen a lot of dogs react well to.

"He's got a while yet before his head's crushing me," Roy said, and there was no mistaking the genuine kinship...maybe even friendship...that he felt with the larg.  They had waded into and out of trouble together for a few years, now, and that built a camaraderie that was unmatched.

"Just as long as he doesn't try to act like a lap dog, we're fine."

Zob agreed to her terms to apply more lotion to her when they got back and as he was about to say something she took off towards the water he then chuckled and chased after her and about halfway towards the waters edge Zob caught up and scooped her up in his arms and leaped into the water together laughing having a good time.

Rip grinned at Tar' as she walked along side him, looking at her shiny back in a sort of admiration of his work. Thinking about how right they would be, about how devastating in the armor would be, no enemies would be left standing before them.  "Best to leave one or two alive.  So our names are traveled among the lips of our foes in fear.  Lobsters don't do that, At least not to me."  He shrugged.  A bit playful, he did hip bump Tar' as they walked to the food stalls.

When they were a few steps away, he would confess to Tar', "I like Meari.  See why she is your friend.  She must kill many Tankards in droves.  She also seems to care for you."  He said with genuine appreciation.  He tilted his head to catch more angles of Tar' in her bikini, as they walked, whistling without meaning too.

At the stalls, he would look at the food for sell, and groan.  "Sorry.  I always had a need to eat more then most."  He said, hoping he didn't drag her away from her friend, but happy she joined him.  He would offer to buy all the food and drinks, the corndogs a winner in his books, liking the idea of food on a stick.  Feeling in a great mood, he would even try and tempt Tar' to take a bite of a corndog from his hand.  Along with a fizzy orange soda, Rip loaded up, carrying all the food and drinks back.  Nodding again to Justin.

Joining the line to get food, Justin returned Nate's nod with a wave, that including Meari & Tarja.

 Meari and Frakas had walked over to the SM and Larry, Meari rubs Larrys shoulder and asks Larry," Larry if you wish Frakas and I will throw you into the water?"

 Lizzy looked up at the beautiful Angel, she checked her ID and replied," Yes that is great the venue will be set up, yes we need wedding bands matching rings we wear to say we are a couple. I would like Captain Si to perform the Ceremony, and has a time been determined to get everyone there, thank you very much for this KE-NA."

Jason saw people lining up to get food and also went to get some then he saw Justin in line. Hey Justin how are you today? You kinda disappeared last night I didn't really get a chance to thank you for helping me out.

As the Angel woman approached and said she was here to help them with the preparations for their wedding, Izzy would quickly slide the straps of her top back over her shoulders and fasten up the back before propping herself up on her elbows, listening as she and Lizzy spoke together ”A bouquet for Lizzy and Catering…though I think you and I should pick the rings” she said wanting to choose the wedding bands they would be wearing to symbolise their love for one another ”…we both have maids of honour, a flower girl, father of the bride and usher chosen…wait did we ever actually speak to Zob?” Izzy said in a moment of panic, knowing that they had discussed the idea but uncertain as to whether they had actually acted upon it ”…and transport to the venue, we never even considered that!” Izzy exclaimed with her beginning to get rather flustered by it all once again.

 Sam knew Zob would catch her, but he picked her up and they went into the water. Sam had a blast, and enjoyed her time in the water with Zob.

No need Justin responded. Taking a bite of his burger.Did you have a pleasant evening. he asked, around a mouthful of food.

 KE-NA  seemed , not  the least phased.The  weather is  supposed to be  good tomorrow.  I would say, you shouldn't  wait  any longer then Mid-day?

  We have a   Company that caters  the Ball?   they can   bring in some  really good dishes, but i would say , Buffet style? so your guests can take what they want, i don't think there would be  time  to order  dishes. ..  I would suggest  you do the ceremony outside, and the reception inside the Building. The  Party,  can then  go out in the  ceremony  areas
 for Dancing  and  such, as we will have workers  move d chairs   to the walls   and the
 Band  will be set up against the Building so the Music  reverberates off the stone
 walls..

 we   can get you to a Jewler  for bands? But i would  Suggest  Zibrumn Rings .. They  Lok  much  Like Gold. with flecks of silver, the important thing, is, they are rare elements,  a Jeweler  can size  them  in moments,  and they become  part of you, more or less..  they have a limited  ability  to expand and contract. I have never heard of a female who has lose  one.

 Transportation isn't a problem, You Hotel  can provide...will provide  transports for You and you people to the Chapel..

”Nor me to be honest” Tarja replied with her not finding lobsters to be all that scary or intimidating either as she gave Rip a hip bump of her own as they walked along the sand.

Once they had got a little way from where Meari and Frakas were sitting Rip would quietly say that he liked Meari as he thought her to be tough and seemed to genuinely like her as well ”I am glad you like her…I was thinking of putting you in Meari’s fire team when we get back to Hermes” she said as they approached the stalls, turning to gauge his reaction to her suggestion with her catching him checking her out, with her cheeks turning bright pink in response to the whistle. Part of her wanting to stamp it out now so as not to encourage such behaviour from the members of her unit, with another part feeling rather flattered by the attention she was receiving.

Upon arriving at the stalls she would wave off his apology, more than happy to get something to eat, with her opting for a bag of pastries that had a shape similar to that of a pretzel but with the taste and texture of a warm doughnut dusted in a spiced sugar. She would take a tentative bite of the corndog when offered, with her her in turn offering Rip one of her pastries, or Churros as the shopkeeper had called them.

She would also catch sight of the man waving to them, with it taking her a moment to place him as being the pilot she’d met in the tunnels before waving back at him.

Rip was surprised at the announcement that Tar' was thinking of placing him on Meari's fireteam.  But he couldn't think of a non selfish reason to say no.  He like Meari, and couldn't think of a better team leader... except for Tar' herself.  He could live with it.  He also noticed her cheeks turned a bright pink when she caught him overlooking her.  He had the sense to smile, liking that.

"My sis used to talk of Titans as well.  She was a fan of history.  Spoke how they were feared even by Gods.  One even gave the gift of fire to mortals.  The idea of blowing away our foes like that sorts of appeals to me.  Hellfire from our weapons, armor powered muscles to rip them in half."  He spoke, mostly to distract himself from eyeing her more.  He sighed.

The corndogs were delicious, and he enjoyed feeding Tar' some, aa well enjoying the bite of pastry she offered.  It was like heaven made in doughy goodness.  He had never been so content before.  "I like it." He said.  He was having a great time.  Perhaps he wouldn't be an outcast here.

He would then try and start a conversation with Justin and see if he knew Tar' or not.  Also the younger blond haired, scared man with Justin caught his attention.  "Tar', have you met Justin?  He was the second person I met on the Hermès after Cap'n Morris.  Believe he is a pilot."  He said with a glee if still gravel voice.

Rip would then offer his hand, adjusting the pile of drinks and corndogs in his arms to offer the man, Jason, he didn't know, his hand in greeting.  "Greetings, I am Rip."

Justin swallowed hurriedly then greeted the Marines and made introductions. Justin had met the others in passing during several tunnel runs. I've heard that being a Pilot rumour as well. he replied glancing about Thing is, I've a notion it's not scuttle. he added with a cheeky grin

It wouldn’t take Izzy long to shimmy into a short skirt and a short sleeve blouse that she had in her bag, with both items going straight over her bikini, with her tying the blouse so as to show off her midriff ”We’d best get moving babe, we can always come back once we have the rings” Izzy said, deciding that it would be for the best if they took KE-NA’s advice and went to get the rings as soon as possible.

Of all the things for them to talk about, folklore had not been one she had been expecting, with the large tattooed man speaking of titans and how Prometheus had stolen fire from the gods, with him comparing them to the Armoured Company he was looking to join , though she also got the distinct impression that he was trying really hard not to keep eyeing her up ”yes, we have tales of giants and trolls back home…and brave Bogatyr’s doing valiant deeds…perhaps we are little the two, yes? Titans and giants in armour, do you not think?” she said with her warming to the topic, whilst trying to sneak a look at his arms and chest, wondering what it would be like to be held by him. Sure he had put his arms around her last night but he was on best behaviour and she was imagining a completely different situation.

Thankfully she wasn’t able to dwell on that for too long, as Rip moved to speak with Justin and a young man she didn’t recognise ”yes, we met in tunnels on Hermes though I was wearing armour at the time…you are having enjoyable time Justin, yes? Who is friend?” she would ask with Justin then making the introductions ”Is nice to meet you Jason, you are new yes?”

"I'm not sure I like how wicked I'm becoming," She said as the Admiral walked away. "But I'm glad I'll be along to make sure you get to keep that promise."

Its fun to see the  fear in their eyes  when they realize, they might  really die , because they did something really stupid,

Taking the others silence that they had finishedchattingwith him; Justin finished gathering a platter of food. Returning to the spot he was resting he sat and started eating.

Jason waved to Justin as he left and finished his food and decided to wander around the beach a bit.He was enjoying the sun on his skin and watching the people as he walked

Rip liked the idea of creatures of old, God's and such.  While no expert, he had a romantic mind set to such beings.  "The old Tales are some of the best.  Do you think in a few hundred years they will speak of the crew of Hermès in the same way?"  He asked Tar'.

Rip was confused as to Jason's ignoring his and Tarja's greeting, but shrugged.  He was interested in Justin and Tarja metion of the Tunnel.  "What is this Tunnel you two speak of?"  He asked, but saw Justin and Jason walk away, as he finished his food.  Odd.  He shook his head, an eyebrow raised to Tar, in display of his confusion.

He sighed and finished his food, throwing the sticks they came on away.  Having filled his belly and was quite enjoying himself on the Beach with Tar, he was debating what to do next.  Tempted by an idea, he leaned over to Tar' and asked her: "Ever been tossed into water?"  She was a strong woman, but Rip figured he could lift her over his shoulders and toss her in if she was game.  Would enjoy it even more if she playfully protested.  As long as she didn't give him a strong no.  The idea of her body fighting against his larger frame, put a smile on his face.

Eating sounded like a good idea, although Madison wasn't sure how she felt about skipping their alone time. As they reached the food stalls, Kray got yet another visit to challenge/warn/something. She just ignored it and picked out something to eat.

Sitting near the food stalls Justin spotted Kray & Perry heading towards them.  As they surveyed the dishes Justin went for another serve of steak and vegetables; moving beside Kray. Will there be a chance of nocturnal activity I could lend a hand with he quietly asked.

 Shadow looked at Justin.. he looked  uncomfortable.No?..I mean... he looked  awkwardly  at   Maddy,I'm pretty sure  i can handle the 'activities'  alone? he  gave  Maddy a  rueful smile.

   Joining   Maddy he  got  what passed for hamburgers  and a  drink.. and led her back to  their towels.

Acknowledged no Delta Night activity. Justin confirmed as he headed to another food stall.

”I don’t know, I never really considered it…maybe? I hope they not turning me into the distressed damsel” Tarja had replied finding the idea of people telling tales of the Hermes and it’s crew many centuries from now to be rather intriguing.

After a brief introduction to Justin and Jason, Tarja would find herself standing with Rip feeling rather confused over what had just happened, with her returning his confused look with one of her own with her kind of hoping that there hadn’t been any malice intended by what had just happened, though in all fairness Jason had seemed to be preoccupied with something else. Instead she would answer Rip’s question about the tunnels ”there are tunnels…for the maintenance I think? Going around perimeter of ship, they are often used for long distance running and training, AI have used them a couple of times” she explained suspecting that he would be seeing them in person soon enough.

After finishing her Churros Tarja would drop the paper bag into a bin before giving Rip a wary look ”Nate, what are you planning?” she slowly asked without even realising that she was using his given name.

Rip would agree that the damsel in distress didn't fit Tar'.  "See you more of fearless leader charging into the fire."  Rip said thoughtfully, even through he never seen her in combat except for the short but intense moment with the sharp fangs the night before.  She didn't balk, and kept her cool.

"Interesting.  Sounds like a good area to see when i get back to the ship."  Rip was really looking forward to his future training.  The tunnels sounded like a good way also to get lost in for a moment, even a quiet place to think.

It was the fact she used his first name, something he was liking, that let Rip know she wouldn't be too upset with his playful idea.  Saying nothing he just grabbed Tar' by the waist and as she did protest, feeling her fist land on his muscular back, he lifted the smaller Tar and threw her onto his back.  Hearing sounds of her questioning what he was doing didn't stop him as he carried her easily to the water.

Rip ws enjoying feeling her body wiggle on his shoulder as he kept her pined with a heavy hand on the small of her back.  Her firm tummy felt pretty good against his skin. "Be a waste we be around this water, and not get wet."  He laughed, standing in the water to his knees.  He could see a nice big wave coming in, and a far deeper spot in the lake in front of them.

He took hold of the slightly combative Tar's hips, his fingers griping her bikini bottom a good bit, getting a feel of her rear.  Rip, smiling like an idiot, tossed her into the water about three feet from him, with more then 4 feet of water to take her thrown body to cushion her impact.

Rip had only a distant memory of doing that with his Sister.  The fact he felt comfortable enough with Tarja to get away with this should say how close he felt to her.  Even after only a day and night with the AI leader.

Rip did have a fleeting worry about her going for revenge, laughing as he saw her body being taken by the water.

 Dusk sat up...I think its  time   we  splashed in the water.people seem to like that..largs love it, it  would seem. I think we should go  for splashing, then go  and get changed to go to dinner?, we can always come back for the Night part of the  party..or...not?

ensign  Six  watched  Shadow and  Maddy return to eat on their  blanket and Towels.  Six said,  as she offered  napkins to them...I'm going to go  up and change and  see  that there is a Van ready. I'll be in the  living area watching  The Vids  until you tow  come up..

she shook out her  towel , then moved off towards the Hotel.

 Holden  and  Supe were callign for   folks who wanted to play  Volley Ball.. Major   TA-LI   Pushed  Captain Si towards the Pit, to get her in the game, Giving  Maddy and Shadow the   highsign.

”What are you…put me down! Nate put me down!” Tarja exclaimed as Rip effortlessly picked her up and threw her over his shoulder. Despite the hand clamping her down in place Tarja would squirm and kick in an attempt to free herself, though the fact that he hadn’t received any strong blows to the head said she wasn’t trying that hard as her view over his shoulder changed from sand to water as he waded into the lake ”No! Don’t you dare! Nate I’m warning…” whatever she had been about to say was replaced by a surprised yelp as she was launched into the air with her having just long enough to catch sight of his grin before hitting the water.

This wouldn’t be the first time she had been thrown bodily into a lake, with her older brothers having done so on numerous occasions during her childhood, with the only consolation being that the water was somewhat warmer here than in Finland.

Coming to the surface, spluttering and wiping the water from her eyes Tarja would give Rip a playful look as she softly growled ”Oh I’m so going to get you for that” before launching herself at him, clearly intending to tackle him down into the water.

Watching Tarja being taken by the water, as he heard her protests, had Rip laughing in contrast of the ex gang leader's usual qruff look.  A wave of water splashing against his hips, splashing his chest, as Rip waited to see what Tar' would do next.

He pulled down the red tinted sunglasses on his face so he could get a good look of his unit leader come out of the water.  He had to suppress the urge to whistle seeing water drip down her body.  But the playful look she gave him, with the growl had him smirking.

"Wait Tar-!"  He got out before her small but muscular firm body collided into his, sending Rip flying back into the water.  She must have played American football, with a tackle like thst.  His arms wrapped around her slender body, his glasses sent flying off into the water a foot away.  He pulled her in with him as the two were engulfed in the warm water.

Twisting around, he found his face buried against Tar's neck, and stood up, Tar' pinned to his broad chest, his arms wrapped around her waist.  "Heh.  That the best you got?"  Rip coughed, water dripping down from his dark mowhawk style hair.  His eyes teasing her to try that again.

  Shadow  nods,Captain Loves Volley ball,  she won;t know we're gone  unless they need players, then she'll try to get us to come over... so we leave  now,  we'll leave our towel and blanket here to make  it look like were coming back right  away,  he points  to the  darker  area  behind the  Stalls for them to leave  by, rather then the main footpath.

   he slips an arm around her  as they walk, so  anyone seeing they , will have an idea  why  they were sneaking off...

From his spot Justin watched Shadow & Perry sneaking off. Noticing they left their towns behind. Ha... no Delta action, indeed Shadow. he quietly comments. Normally he'd let things play out but he didn't appreciate Shadow's behaviour. Let's see... he adds rising Justin wanders after the two; in a manner that they'd know he was headed in their direction.

 Meari and Frakas where having a blast in the water, then she heard Captain Si say Volleyball. Meari then said," Hey Frakas are you up for playing Volleyball or are you are you just watching this one? We should go make sure Tarja and Rip come and try Villeyball."

   yes  I enjoy smashing the ball  down on the little people! They get so anger Frakas laughs.

   He  stops  to  see if the other want to come with Meari.

 Shoey's  eyes got  wide  and he looked embarrassed  at Maddy...

  The pair  left.  the red  face  Shoey  laughed at himself  as he  loked  for  folks trying to follow.

 Meari called over to Tarja and Rip," Hey you guys want to try Volleyball we are getting teams ready Captain Si is running it."

Roy grinned.  "The water could be nice.  I grew up in a desert, we didn't have much water to splash around in, and when I enlisted and went to boot camp, water was definitely not for playing in.  So I've never really developed a taste for it...but the Corps made sure I knew what I was doing in it."

He stood up, watching Shadow and Maddy wander off...noticing Justin drifting in the same direction.  The man doesn't read social cues real well... he observed to himself, snorting softly as he remembered Justin apparently tailing him to Gresh's compound on Everest, and then expecting to be treated like some sort of senior officer.

"Well...it's his lesson to learn..." Roy muttered under his breath, before turning back to Dusk.

"Lead the way.  Unless you wanna race to the water...?"  He grinned, a bit of a teasing challenge in his voice.

After tackling Rip and bringing him down with her into the water the pair would wrestle playfully for a bit before coming to the surface, her body tightly held about Rip’s as he asked if that was All she had? ”oh I’m not finished with you yet!” she declared with a laugh before wrapping her legs about his waist and shifting her weight so as to overbalance him and send them both crashing back into the water.

They would wrestle for a while longer, with Tarja spending most of it getting dunked, thrown or pinned by her far larger opponent, though it would also become increasingly apparent to Rip that Tarja was more than happy for him to “win” these little bouts.

It was as she kneeling down in the water with her arms firmly pinned to her sides as Rip held her from behind that she would hear Meari calling to them and inviting them to join her and Frakas for a volleyball game ”so what do you think? Fancy a game or would you like to try and drown me some more?” she asked with a laugh, leaning her head back onto his shoulder in order to see him, her dark eyes full of excitement and mischief.

Jason saw people gathering to play or watch volleyball Jason headed over to watch the game.

   once they were out of the Light of the  heat Pods  and   stall fires, Shadow    gave   Maddy  as  soft  kiss...that will help add to our  cover..and..you know... I like to do it..so.,,,,

Roy wasn't fooled by the faked concern...if Larry was about to eat someone, the larg would have been making noise, after all, either to alert them that there were interlopers or to call the rest of the largs to share in the bounty.  But he let her get a few strides in before he took off after her.

One unexpected advantage to having been through Marine boot camp...he'd learned to run in the sand.  Granted, that had been in heavy combat boots, but the basic principles were still applicable, even to bare feet, and unlike Dusk, he was accustomed to running.  It was endurance running, yes...but he typically was running with the encumbrance of full armor and combat load-out, so running in a pair of swim trunks felt like flying by comparison

"That's a cheap trick!" he called out, closing the distance on her, a grin on his face.

  She  giggled her metal- like giggle  as she  called  back at the ,Gaining SM,Yes..i did not pay any credits for it!

 Beth  was  dancing  with a Pilot from  The Atheana , but walked away to the food  stalls when she figured out  hewas trying to use her as leverage to get  the LC  to approve  a transfer  request.

Henry smiled at Can quite naturally calling him 'Father" - it felt good.

"Yes of course you may, Can. Stay in the area delimited by the larg patrols. Do you want some credits?"

He turned to Val.

"Do you want something to eat as well? We all could go over, get food, then Can will be able to go play with his friends."

Making his way to the landing site Justin waited for the next shuttle headed back to the 351.

Rip wasn't ready for her legs wrapping around him and shifting her weight.  Tar' easily got him dunked into the water.  Rip would admit later if asked, he liked that move from her.  It caught him completely by surprise, but it had the added benefit of just what it might be like with her in a more imitate moment.

He knew she wasn't fighting back as strongly as she could.  Not that he was either, but the point wasn't about winning.  It was just having fun.  And wrestling in the water with Tar was fun.  A lot of fun that he never knew he could have.

As they broke out of the water after dunking and wrestling each other, he was a bit out of breath, mostly from laughing so much.  He glanced down at Tar' kneeling in the water and shook his head.  His hands around her waist, he knew even in this position she could just flip him, but she hadn't.

Her question about joining the volley ball game made him think.  Stop having his hands on her, or watch her jump around.  He looked into her eyes and couldn't help but smile.  "Hhhmmm, toss you around a bit more.  Or play volley ball."  He saw the mischief in her eyes and realized he could really get away with saying that he wanted to keep wrestling with her.  He glanced back at Meari on the beach, then back at Tar', her head on his shoulder.  His hands sliding up her body.  "Honestly, I really want to wrestle some more."


He glanced back at the beach and lifted her up in his arms.  "Let's dry off first.  Play some Volley Ball, and then see if we are still standing, you can teach me some of those moves you used on me.  I think you were holding back."  He growled, into her ear as he carried her back to her towel.  His hands finding all sorts of reasons to grope her butt and even play with the strap to her bikini top.  He didn't look where he was walking, just staring into her eyes.

He didn't care he lost his sunglasses.

  Val  says,Of Course. It is getting late  as well,  We should  send    fod  back  for Teddy, Disna  and Puskie. The stalls have been  Running  'tins' down regularly, for the Largs.

 Tess  and  Roe were laying in the grass near the BU, with  Thor  and Rae  sitting between them Gnaw on  some   bones.

 at the party  they saw the Hotel put out heating PODs   for  people to gather  around, and  a Volleyball game was takign shape, while  Music  played. Roll came  running over with Haley...we  found a footstand  that makes  hotdog things like   Fuji does!,,and they are Free...you want to get some!

"Go on, Can..."

Henry sent his son off to enjoy the hotdogs.

"Shall we go over by the music Val. Maybe we could dance."

Val took Henry's hand,yea, we  will be  able  to eat  after  a few  songs..

Larry stood by Shoey   who   fed him a  Burger   as he  watched the  people who might come in his direction

"I...I think I'd like that too" Tarja quietly responded, having thoroughly enjoyed wrestling in the water with Rip, not really knowing when she'd last laughed and had that much fun, her brain briefly drifting off to a lake near her parents home in Finland and a teenage boy with dark hair. For a moment the pair of them would sit there, with Tarja toying with a suggestion that was just on the tip of her tongue before Rip beat her to it with a suggestion of his own.

With a bit of a startled yelp Tarja would find herself being picked up in a princess lift and carried over towards her towel "Meari, we'll be over in a minute, we just need to dry off" Tarja would call, her eyes never leaving Rips as she fantasised about what such a moment like this could lead to, chuckling as she replied "what? and give away all my secrets?" as he accused her of letting him win, with her not even minding that his hands were wandering.

Once she was safely back onto her towel, Tarja would take a moment to dry herself off before giving the towel to Rip so he could do the same. It was at this point that they would head over to where Meari and Frakas were so they could join the game.

As Rip was drying off, he chuckled at Tar's response of keeping her secrets.  He knew she could keep those secrets no matter what he did.  But as he wiped his back he shot back.  "Can think of some fun ways to get you to share your secrets,  so you just watch out."  He winked and placed the towel out to dry out as they went over to join Meari, Farkas, and Captain Si.

He did find a moment to glance at Tar's rear as they joined the other.  He gave a friendly nod to Meari and Frakas, smile on his lips.  He found himself coming to a casual attention to Si, the Captain of the Hermès.  He hadn't had a chance to to meet much of the crew, and found him wanting to make a good impression.

He gravitated to the four arm Trooper, Farkas, and asked in a whisper, "So, how do you play... Volley Ball?"  Rip gathered it was 3 people to a team, a net, and you... hit the ball.  But he had forgotten most of how Tar and Meari had explained the game.  He was paying more attention to Tar' in her bikini then the game explanation.  He hoped the close friend of the purple haired commando, Meari, could help him out.

Roy kept up his speed until he was only a pace or two behind Dusk, matching her speed, until they reached the water.  As she splashed in, he kept running, grabbing her as he went past and rolling in the air so she was above him as they hit the water.  The intent was blatantly to dunk her, without caring about dunking himself, but since he wasn't sure just how deep the water was, he put himself in a position to hit the bottom before she did.

He let go of her as the water stopped their momentum, his back dragging across the sand below the waves, and he pushed off from the bottom to come up to the surface, a big grin on his face.  "You wanted splashing," he said in a teasing tone as she surfaced.  "I am to please..."

  Frakas says..you cannot catch the  ball you hit it over the net..your team can take  3 hits...if it hits the ground, other teams either gets to serve , or gets  a point if they serves. you cannot hang on   net,

 he lowered his voice...humans  who know  how to play, and captain Si..will point out broken rules.

After a lengthy bit of the day just enjoying the sun and playing in the water with Sam the time just got taken away, "It's been a wonderful day Sam, shall we go get dressed and have that dinner i promised?" by this time his hoverbike should of been waiting for him in the condo garage as he liked to ride it around on shore leave.

”Oh well I’ll be sure to look out for that!” Tarja replied with a look that said she was more than happy for him to try, with her suspecting that she would rather enjoy divulging her “secrets” to him.

After moving to stand near the court Tarja would look from Meari to Captain Si, feeling herself straightening up into something approximating attention in the presence of the Angel woman and immediately feeling stupid for doing so whilst wearing a bikini ”So how many do we need for team? Only we may be able to persuade some of AI to play?” she said having seen a couple of the others around, though admittedly Belle looked rather distracted with Andruss at the moment, and Tarja wasn’t about to intrude on their alone time. And despite being a little shocked at the speed they’d got together she was kind of glad that Andruss had found someone nice and moved on, if only to alleviate the guilt she felt about the thoughts she was having about Rip.

Roy grinned.  "All part of the plan," he answered, using one hand to flip water at Dusk.  "I figured you'd rather land in the water than on the sand...and I know I didn't want to walk away with a swimsuit full of sand."  He made a face at the prospect.

"Of course, we can always try for a rematch if you really want to try and play that "I beat you" card..."  He chuckled, not really caring if she wanted to claim the win or not...it just made for a good point of banter, right now.

 Meari smiled at Frakas and then joined the Volleyball teams wondering what the teams would be. " Yes Captain Si we have three AI right here, are we playing 6 or 9 per team?"

 Sam had a great time, having fun in the water and on the sand with Zob. Sam enjoyed spending time with Zob, he was a Deon, but he was so much more and very respectful to good people, bad people he obliterates which Sam likes.

 They day flew by and it was so much fun, then Zob asked if she was ready for that dinner he promised. " Oh yes I am starving, I burned a lot of energy. Yes lets go get cleaned up dressed and we can head out for dinner. Do you know a place or are you going to ask what is around us?"

 NA-CE and Vaka spent the day having a great time, and she accidentally, had certain body parts fall on certain places on Vaka. when it was getting dark NA-CE asked, " Would you like to go to one of my favorite restaurants, my parents might still have an account with them still, or we can stay here get some food on the beach and enjoy some volleyball, dancing on the beach at night, your call, we can always go to the fancy place tomorrow Vaka."

Rip nodded his thanks to Frakas.  Eager to play, if hiding the fact he was troubled of being a handicap.  He slapped Frakas on the shoulder, and stood back next to Tarja, buffing his chest out in male bravado.

"Yes, I am looking forward to this.  AI vs you Navy types."  Rip's enthusiastic shout didn't match his worry about being new to the game.  Or the fact he was only a recruit to the AI.  He winked to Tar'.

Mila, taking her turn in the larg guard rotation, swam past Dusk and wagged her tail, splashing water all over her... and then swam on to shore, shook herself thoroughly and trotted up the beach.

With Captain Si saying that they were after teams of six, Tarja would turn and call over to the group of AI currently laying on the sand enjoying themselves ”Hey would any of you want to play? We need two more for team” clearly excited about playing, even though she suspected that she wouldn’t be very good. There would be a brief pause as the four spoke to one another before Penny eagerly jumped to her feet and dragged Conrad along with her, seemingly with the unspoken agreement to give Belle and Andruss some privacy as they sat together ”Ok we’re in, who are we thrashing!…hey, who’s the tank?” Penny said with a grin, before motioning at Rip with a thumb ”This is trooper Rip Charles, he is new transfer…Rip, these are PFC Penny Barlett and Seamann Conrad Conrad, they are AI troopers” Tarja said, introducing Rip to a tall, dark haired man in navy shorts and a busty woman with short red hair in a pixie cut, and freckles, wearing a red bikini ”nice to meet you, here’s hoping you last longer than our last recruit” she said, rolling her eyes as she held out her hand towards Rip with her clearly having a temperament as fiery as her hair.

With a team assembled Tarja would wait to see who they were playing against.

 The Captain, Lirg, Frakas, Rivets, Lippen and Nagy  went to the captain's  side. She waved to  the AI,

Roy snorted.  "I don't throw largs...that's your dad's trick.  I threw you to remind you that the only reason you got to the water first is because I wanted you there..."  He grinned as Mila swam past and headed for the beach.

"After all, I'm pretty sure you picked that suit to get looked at, and it's a whole lot easier to look at you when you're in front of me..."

    Dusk  had to think a  Bit..then her  mouth opened in a silent 'o'.. In the   darkening light, it would be  hard to tell , if she was  Blushing, when the shimmer  of  'light  skin; would have its  turn to pass.

 she  tried to sound haughty. but there was   too much restrained giggle in it. well... I am most happy you like the suit.....Now, it us  tim for me to see if you like  a  dress? Shoild we go to diner?  or do you wnat to see if you can play the net hitting game?

 Meari looks at Tarja and sees who is going to serve first, Meari was at the net all 6'8" of her. " Ok who is going to start the serve?"

Roy looked over at the volleyball area and shrugged.  "Looks like they've got enough to play."  He glanced back at her with a sly grin, and added, "Tempting though it is to keep you in that bikini longer...but I haven't had anything to eat since breakfast, and I know you're just as stunning in a dress.  So dinner sounds really good right about now."

    Dusk  smiled   and   slipped  am arm around  Roy as they walked out of the water  to   go gather thier towels and such.

Roy had been about to toss her back in the water one more time, just out of some perverse drive to be a pest, but the mood quickly shifted as she started to explain the situations she and Shade endured.  He knew about many of the situations with Shade...had, in fact, very forcefully corrected some of the individuals who called him 'robot'...but wasn't around much when people spoke about Dusk.

He draped an arm around her shoulders as they walked and she spoke, giving her a reassuring squeeze as she continued.  He nodded when she paused, waiting a few moments to see if she had more to say, before he started speaking.

"History is full of people who only recognize the legitimacy of those who are just like them.  Adem and Evert were like that.  Hell, half of Paradise was like that.  We humans certainly have more than our fair share of it."  He snorted softly, continuing, "Shit...we still have people who don't even accept other humans as legitimate just because of their skin color or ancestry."  He'd heard more than a few, even occasionally among members of the crew that he otherwise admired.

He gave a dry, rueful chuckle.  "My expertise in anatomy is generally focused on where vital organs and other weak points are...so I'm not sure what all is involved in being any kind of bio-mechanical hybrid, much less the offspring of one...but I think it's significant that we use the term, 'BIO-mechanical', not 'mecha-biological'.  You are uniquely you...both of you are.  There will very likely never be anyone with similar origins.  But I knew your mom...even when we thought she was just a super-advanced AI, she was still treated as another crewmate by many of us.  Finding out she was an actual living entity was a surprise on some level, yes...but on another level, it made perfect sense."

He sighed, and chuckled again.  "My thoughts are getting away from me.  I've known you both since you hatched, and while I can't understand a single word your brother says, I love him like he's my own flesh and blood...and since you're made of the same stuff, literally, by extension, I love you, too.  Just...in a different way, that I'm still trying to figure out all the nuances."

He gave her another squeeze, this one a longer, more lingering one.  "You've always been a very real, legitimate individual to me.  The only issue I've ever had with your identity has been coming to terms with the fact that you're my best friend's daughter, and for all your physical maturity in appearance, you've only actually got a very few years of life experience to draw on."  He stopped, as they were still just a few feet shy of their towels, and turned her to look him in the face, holding her by both shoulders, gently.

"But I think I'm working my way through that."  He smiled gently at her.

Rip smiled and gave a casual salute to PFC Penny Barlett, the bursty red head and Seamann Conrad Conrad, the tall dark haired man, glad to meet others in the unit.  Even smiling at being referred to as a tank.  "Pleasure to meet you two."  He liked this bonding moments like this.  He didn't do enough of this with his former gang.

Grabing some sand in his hands, he rubbed his hands together for no reason and took a spot near the net, next to Meari, expecting his tall size to come in handy here.  "For the honor of the AI unit, perpare to be thrashed!"  Rip said to the other team with a wink.

He watched Tarja for leadership, then Meari, and finally the two other members.  He knew he was the bottom of the totem pole here, and didn't care.  He was ready to see what they all brought.  Bowing at his waist, knees bent, he glanced to the Naval and Marine personnel, ready to bring pain.

  Dusk listened , her off hand  grasps Roy's fingers of the  arm around her shoulders. When they stopped, Dusk  smiled a soft  smile, her    eyes  glistened .

  I should think, Father being your best friend  would help the  situation ? because   he has  trust  in you, yes?

 she smiles more..It is  important, yes? To  Shade...to Me.. to have people who accept us.. Shade seems to have maria and  Maygin accepting him. and  Zob is a friend to him as well. yes?  we have father.. But  father cannot be everywhere..all the time..

now...we need to find  food!

Roy laughed softly as he gathered up his towel and the wedge pad he'd brought down to recline against.  "I don't know if it's an Earth thing, or it's just where I'm from...but having a relationship with anyone in your best friend's family was awkward...even if it was his sister.  Not that I had a whole lot of personal experience with that..."  He snorted.

"But I'm also new to the whole 'Angel-food makes age kind of meaningless' thing.  Where I grew up, if you were dating your best friend's daughter, there was something REALLY wrong with you.  Either she was way too young to be dating, or you were dating someone inappropriately younger than you."  He shrugged as he stood up with the wedge.

"Out here?  Well, there's Angel-food, and there's the fact that different species mature at incredibly different rates.  I mean, if you were Earth-born human, you'd likely only have just gotten out of diapers a year or two ago and might even still be struggling to speak effectively."  He chuckled softly and added, "That's a whole lotta baggage to rearrange in your mind.  It's also part of the reason your dad struggles with seeing you dressed up in mature clothing...he grew up with that same sort of backdrop, so he hasn't really come to terms with the fact that you're mature, now...part of his mind still thinks of you as his little girl who should still be in sundresses and pigtails, not smokin' hot bikinis."

He laughed again, and gestured with his head to the hotel.  "Shall we?" he asked, and then added, mischievously, "If you want to lead, I certainly won't complain..."

Upon seeing the salute Penny would give Rip a questioning look followed by a laugh and a rueful shake of her head, clearly amused at being saluted, with her then moving to take a position at the back half of the pitch with Conrad and one of the mech riders that had arrived to make them up to six. Although she had the same athletic build, Penny lacked the height and muscles of the team’s two non-coms.

With Captain Si allowing them to serve first, Tarja would pick up the ball and take her position at the net, smiling at Rips bravado ”ok, let’s see if I can remember how to do this…” she quietly said to Meari and Rip, before making her serve. It wasn’t the greatest serve in the world but it cleared the net and got the game started.

Billie lay on her towel, belly down but propped up by her elbows. Her reddish brown hair had been pulled back into a high ponytail to accommodate the visor that she wore to help keep the sun out of her already sensitive eyes. She was thoroughly enjoying the lounging and not having any expectations of what she should be doing. She looked over to Arnie with a smirk, her eyes finding a drop of water sliding down his neck and trailing down his muscular chest. “You know...I was going to say something but I completely forgot now,” she chuckled, biting her bottom lip as a blush came to her cheeks.

  Arnie  Opened  an eye to look at her,alot of that going  around  down here.  we're all off  duty and off ship, and  everyone sees  more of us then they have seen before.. he winks and grins,well?  some....

 The Volley match was slwoly  Turning to the  Captains   side, Lieh was tall as  it was, but his powerful legs helped  him  jump higher. and he had  played this game , many tiomes on shore leave. Frakas  was a Game Changer,   he could jump reasonably well. his  Uper set of arms  towered over the Net,  while hsi lower  set of  arms  reached  as high as  Most of the athletic  Humans.. Captain Si  had a  great leap,  and her  bathign ssuit  distracted   alot of the male s ( and some females) eyes.

 The AI   had to  handle this  by  team work. Meari  doing some Damage   in spikign,. But  Frakas  was like a  spiderweb.

Jason was enjoying watching the game never having played before he didn't understand what exactly was going on but he was trying to keep up hoping of course that mearis team wins.

Sitting in the back of the car, Izzy would sit with her head resting on Lizzy’s shoulder as she typed out a quick message to Sam on her comms unit.

Comms message to Samantha: “Hey Sam just seen the venue with Lizzy and it’s gorgeous! I’m so excited! The Wedding is at 10:00 tomorrow so I could do with you being at the venue for 9:30 to get ready and stop me from freaking out! I’ll attach the co-ords and bring that gorgeous angel silk you had on last night, see you tomorrow XOXO Izzy” attached are directions to the venue

Once the car had pulled up by the beach, Izzy would thank KE-NA once again for all of her help before getting out of the car and waving goodbye to her. It was at this point that she would lean up to give Lizzy kiss on the cheek ”so…should we see about getting that drink and then find somewhere to sit, and relax, and perhaps watch the volleyball game?” she asked with a smile as she took Lizzy by the hand and gently led her out onto the sand.

The game was enjoyable even if they weren’t off to the best of starts. With Rip having never played before and it being a long time ago since she had last played their skills were a little lacking, though it didn’t mean they didn’t stand a chance…they just needed to work together better ”Ruskie! Swap places with me, you are taller…everyone try and keep ball away from Frakas…Penny! Captain’s eyes are up here, focus!” Tarja called as she tried to organise the team as she naturally assumed its leadership, as Conrad meanwhile gave Rip a few pointers and Penny’s cheeks flushed bright pink at having been caught admiring Captain Si’s bikini…or more accurately what was in the bikini.

Moving to the back half of the pitch, Tarja was better able to help direct the team, whose three tallest members were now at the front. Regardless of whether they won or not they were going to put up a fight, and hopefully have an enjoyable game.

Rivets  was masterful at serving

  Balker    hustled   and    blocked saved  some Bllas  by  divign  and  , just getting the ball in the air.

  As Roy and   Dusk made their way to Hotel.There was  a Lt  from the   mrecs, he and some of his friends  were   harrassing me  and Maygin.. Maygin is  still hobblign a bit  from the wonds..I think just started   goign in the  water  with Maria  and Shade?   But, these men   made comments  of..of..Mating and   said  that, before  we  leave the planet,  they would 'have' us... I..  I am afraid  i would ahve to  kill them  if they did  foolish things? I think i would want to! It wound  insure that they couold never bother  anyone else  again!

Billie laughed despite her blush. “I see you plenty…and I don’t intend on changing that.” She let out a happy sigh as she looked back out over the water and the beach-goers going about their own activities, her gaze pausing on the volleyball game for a moment. “We should hit the dance club sometime,” she said absentmindedly. Dance had always been such a big thing for her, especially since her parents were so strict with her…it was her outlet. And now, with her newfound freedoms, she found that the club is where she wanted to go to do just that…dance.

 Arnie  nodded   in the fading light,we could go tonight?  We  don't have  any  thing structured for us? Tomorrow is  a free day.....we can..um..sleep in... he  grinned   at her.

Lizzy sat in the car and was all smiles, their wedding was going to be amazing. " Yes lets get some food and a drink and watch the Volleyball game, then we can sit by the firs if they start one."

After buying herself a pair of tacos de camarones and a light beer, they would themselves a spot on the beach where they could watch the volleyball game, though to be honest Izzy was mainly watching Captain Si ”Ok, So I recognise most of Captain Si’s team from SEC, but who are those playing with Meari? Are they the new armoured unit” Izzy would ask after several minutes, wondering if Lizzy recognised any of them ”…also we need to make sure everyone knows when and where our wedding is going to be”

With her mind off of the Captain’s cleavage and back on the game, Penny would prove to be rather nimble as she ran and dive to keep the ball in play, supported by both Conrad and Tarja with the team dropping into “battle speak” as their hands flashed signals to communicate the tactics and plays they were attempting ”Come on, it is only two points we can still win this”

  Lizzy took a seat with Izzy watching the game. " Yeah I think so, I dont know the big tattooed one. We can introduce ourselves to them after the game."

At the suggestion that they get Sam to spread the word, Izzy hadn't even opened her mouth before both of their comms units had buzzed with a quick glance at the display revealing a message from Sam informing everyone of when and where their wedding was, with another private message saying that she would meet Izzy there so they could get ready "wow...guess she beat us to it!" Izzy laughed, glad that at least one of them was organised, with her making a point to get Sam a little something to say thank you "We can go and say hi to them afterwards if you like, though for now I'm just happy to sit and watch" she said as she moved to sit a little closer to Lizzy as ate and enjoyed the game.

 Lizzy was one of the few people that didnt see Captain Si in that way, Lizzy saw her as the mother figure she was denied by her father. Lizzy knew she was absolutely beautiful but she didnt see her in that way at all.

Mila trotted up to Her Human, wagging her tail. She was rather damp, having completed another circuit of 'larg patrol' and naturally wished to share with her favourite humans.

”Keep pressing them Rip! Conrad move to support Balker!” Tarja shouted with a smile that said she was enjoying herself immensely, with her having forgotten how much fun playing a team sport could be. All the while her hands flashed a combination of battle signs and the hand gestures used by the AI in their armour directing her team to press the left where Lirg was; the large Hyrian having a habit of leaping too soon that she was hoping to exploit ”we’ve got em on the ropes, we just need to finish the job!”

”Oh there’s no denying they work well together but they’ve got get passed Lirg and Frakas, those guys own that court! Not to mention Captain Si” Izzy replied, making it clear that she was rooting for the SEC team ”…and I’m sorry babe, I know you don’t see her that way, its just…Captain Si was like my first major teenage crush, not that I was willing to admit as much at the time…I mean you must have fancied someone when you were younger?” Izzy explained before quirking a questioning eyebrow at her fiancée, curious to see if she was willing to share her teenage crush and how embarrassing it would be.

It was as Lizzy mentioning Frakas that the redhead on Meari’s team would send an absolute screamer of a shot over the net only for Frakas to stop it at the last second ”Good block Frakas!” Izzy shouted enthusiastically before turning her attention back to Lizzy as she began to talk about Traci.

With Lizzy blushing like a schoolgirl Izzy would smile and listen as she described her first crush, with Izzy quickly getting her comms unit and accessing the ESN’s intranet and giving a low whistle upon finding Captain Traci Capshaw’s profile pic ”very nice…I can see why you liked her” she said with a mischievous smile that promised some teasing in the near future ”hmm so what we’ve learned today is that out of all the pretty movie stars and pop icons we were both drawn to strong, military women in uniform? Which may explain a few things such as why out of all of your dresses and lingerie I’m turned on by you in an envirosuit!” Izzy laughed seeming to recall Lizzy admitting something similar about her in armour.

 Lizzy watched the game and went," Wow that was a great save," As Frakas was hard to beat.

 Then after Lizzy told Izzy of her crush, Izzy responded, then Lizzy added," Yes we both liked strong woman in uniform, at least you have met yours in person and she is amazing, I have never met Traci. You just love how my envirosuit hugs my curves and is extremely skin tight." Lizzy giggled and held Izzy closer.

 Lizzy held Izzy's hand," Are you ready for tomorrow are you ready to become an official married couple?"

”You’ve never met her? Well…she’s still serving so there’s still time…she may even be on this very beach wearing some skimpy, little bikini” Izzy teased before blushing as Lizzy hit the nail on the head concerning her envirosuit ”well…yeah…I mean…you and skin tight go together very well, but in my defence I think you look hot in uniform anyway” she said as Lizzy gathered her up in her arms, with Izzy gently resting her head on her shoulder.

When asked if she was ready for them to become a married couple, Izzy would anxiously bite her bottom lip before softly replying ”I think so…I mean I can’t imagine being with anyone but you, you mean the world to me but…I just feel so nervous about tomorrow…I’m just scared something will go wrong or I’ll make myself look silly in front of all those people, and I just want everything to be perfect for you!” she softly said, suspecting that Lizzy was nowhere near as nervous as she was.

Diving through the air, Tarja’s fist would make contact with the ball just in the nick of time sending back up into the air before she went sprawling across the sand shouting ”Meari is all yours!” as the ball headed towards the tall Udenese woman with the ball now in the ideal position for her to send it sailing past Lirg and into the sand. All Meari had to do was make the shot and hope no one was able to block it at the last second.

 Lizzy smiled and replied," No I haven't, my father didn't want me to either, not sure why though. I guess I would love to meet her now, I bet she is still hot as hell."

 Then Izzy answered her question and then Lizzy responded," Yes me too, and Izzy if something goes wrong, it goes wrong life isn't perfect, life we just enjoy the time we have and have as much fun as we can."

”Well going by the head shot she’s looking pretty good” Izzy replied tilting her comms unit so Lizzy could see the picture. Being a formal headshot it wasn’t the greatest picture; with Traci looking directly into the camera with a stern expression, however it was clear that she was still very attractive with Angel food making her look younger than she really was. It was at is point that Izzy would wonder if Captain Si would know Traci and maybe arrange an introduction…

Sitting within Lizzy’s arms, enjoying the warmth and feel of her body against her own in the cool air, Izzy would gently nod her head though it was still clear that she nervous about tomorrow. Though hearing Lizzy’s assurances certainly helped, with the simple practicality reassuring her that should something go wrong that she at least wouldn’t have a meltdown ”ok I’ll try and relax…speaking of having fun…” Izzy softly replied before taking Lizzy’s head in her hands and pulling her in for a tender, sensual kiss that she would hold for what felt like forever before a cheer from the volleyball pitch caught their attention.

 Lizzy smiled and looked and yes Izzy was right Traci still looked hot. " Yes she does, doesnt she."

 They sat and watched the volleyball game, " Yes Izzy it will all be fine ok." Then Izzy kissed her and Lizzy embraced her.

 Meari was having a blast, it was fun and Frakas was so good at this. Tarja sent her a ball for a perfect spike and Meari jumped up and powered the ball hopefully away from Frakas and try to get Lirg out of position.

After breaking off what had been a very enjoyable kiss, Izzy would offer Lizzy a smile as they held one another and looked into her beautiful green eyes ”Liz, that tradition where you don’t see the bride before the wedding…we’re not doing that are we?” she softly asked, giving her a look that said she was looking forward to spending time with her tonight. Looking over at the volleyball game it was looking like things were coming to a close, with Izzy wondering which team would manage to snag the winning point.

 Lizzy held Izzy close and responded," The only tradition like that I am holding too is once I go to put my dress on you dont see me until Admiral Hack and I walk down the aisle. You will have to suffer with my presence this evening Izzy." Lizzy then giggled and then tickled Izzy as the volleyball game was getting close and it was still anyone's game. Thee where two very well matched teams.

With Lizzy saying that the only tradition she wanted to follow was that Izzy didn’t see her in her dress until the ceremony Izzy would smile and nod ”I’m good with that…however will we spend the time?” she replied before adding her comment in mock despair before being tickled mercilessly. Squirming around on the towel there would be a gale of uncontrollable laughter from Izzy as she was tickled by her wife to be, who knew full well how ticklish she was, and with her in very real danger of missing the end of the volleyball game.

 Lizzy finally stopped and hugged and kissed Izzy," Well I will be changing and getting ready in a spare room, think you have a large limo to get ready in I do believe."

 She stopped in time to watch the end of the game, but Lizzy was getting very excited and had a fire burning she needed tending too soon. A lot of people have ways of handling stress and nervousness Lizzy's choice is sex. Lizzy knew things would go fine and they would be married tomorrow with the Admiral giving her away and being married by her mom's best friend Captain Si.

 Lizzy then held Izzy close," I think we should eat when the game is over then see if they are doing a big fire ok Izzy."

Eventually Lizzy would relent and pull the still giggling girl into her arms and kiss her, sparking different desires within the tiny Asian girl as she pressed herself against her. Though before things could get too heated the pair of them would separate and sit back up so they could watch what little remained of the game, though it was clear by the looks she was giving Lizzy that she was eager to resume as soon as they were able.

At Lizzy's mention of food Izzy would give her a slightly surprised look with them having only recently eaten, then again Lizzy did have a big appetite "hmm a fire sounds good" she softly said, rather liking the idea of snuggling up against her by an open fire, with the stars overhead.

 Lizzy would wait till the game was over, before asking about a big fire if they are going to have one. "Yes it does lets see of they are going to have one, if they dont we can go to the Condo and have fun."

For Tarja the match would end in slow motion. They had scored some points with their previous play with Meari managing to drive the ball past Lirg and into the sand however after more back and forth Captain Si would smash a shot over the net with such speed and ferocity that it would catch Rip completely flatfooted and shoot straight past him with both Balker and Tarja diving in an attempt to stop it. The Russian however would dive too late, with the ball passing mere centimetres from his fingertips, and although Tarja would get a hand to the ball it lacked the power stop it, with it simply spinning a bit before landing followed Captain Morris saying ”Point to SEC, the marines win the match”

After slapping the sand in frustration, Tarja would take a moment to adjust her top before getting up and approaching the net ”That was good game, you play well” Tarja would say, extending her hand towards Captain Si in a display of good sportsmanship ”…that was one hell of a shot ma’am…and Frakas if you ever want to switch sides you would be more than welcome with AI” she said with a laugh as she then offered her hand to Frakas who had played a blinder of a game.

  Frakas  chuckled  a deep chuckle, i do not think the AI  suits  have  enough  arms for me..

Captain Si  Smiled,it was a  good  match.. no pilots   except for me.. they  are rather    'energetic' she  took the   shake.

 Rivets smiles,  and calls out..everyone   ta the Stalls, Drinks  are on me!

 Morris  looked at Rivets,SHamus? The Fleet is paying for the Drinks and food?

 Rivets  stopped  then Smiled wider...Then lets  bloody well  drink our fill!

 Toni and a Boyfriend  were sitting by a heat Pod watching the  kids  playing, keeping an eye on  Haley as  Nikki and  Mitch had   made a trip up to the Condo.

 Sneak and  Jax were at the other  end of the 'hermes' beach,

 Various  Largs  came through looking  as they made themselves seen by anyone who thinks it  may be a good idea to mess with kids.

”Oh Liz, we’re going to the condo to have fun regardless” Izzy softly purred into Lizzy’s ear as a small, dainty hand made a brief trip along Lizzy’s bare thigh. It was then that the final point was scored, winning the SEC team the game, prompting a cheer from Izzy ”Well played SEC!”

With the teams laughing and shaking hands, Izzy would turn and give Lizzy a quick peck on the cheek before asking ”Shall we go and say hi to the AI team? We should probably go and tell Captain Si when and where the ceremony is going to be” deciding that they should probably speak to her about it in person. There was also something else that Izzy wanted to speak with Captain Si about.

There was a laugh and a knowing smile from Tarja in response to Frakas’ comment with her replying ”Our suits don’t…but the ones being designed for the Sanri military will” as she shook his hand. The company she worked with having decided early on to offer similar armour programmes to both the Sanri and Occui military just in case the ESN had said no ”…I’m sure they would be more than happy to let us have a suit if you were interested” she continued, having heard good things about Frakas from Meari.

With her leaving the decision entirely within Frakas’ hands, Tarja would nod as Captain Si pointed out that she was the only pilot and that they were more energetic ”perhaps…but we tend to be bigger so I’m certain we’d give them a run for their money” she said before joining the others as they went to get drinks.

Jason seeing the the game was ending stood up saw Meari and went overHey Meari that was a good game I thought you all did really well

near the  water  Line  a large   Bon fire  was  just getting its finishing touches.. the  Heat pods   still stay lit  for those who didn';t want to gathered  at the Bon Fire.

 The  Stem  kids  were gathered  around  yelling..   lumious  green  eyes   could be seen in the  darkness   as  largs  watched  from the water  or the shadows.

 Lizzy smiled and giggled and replied," Well that is very true." The SEC team won on a great hit by Captain Si. Lizzy jumped up when her team won.

 Lizzy kissed Izzy back and replied," Yes that sounds great, oh and yes we better make sure, I am also going to look for Mara, Brivet and probably comm Madison I saw her leave."

 Lizzy then sent a comm text to Madison. Lizzy would also look for Brivet and Mara.

 Meari played hard but it was a very good and close game. Finally though Captain Si made the game winning point that Nate couldn't get to.  Meari said," Great game everyone and yes I could use a drink, great job team."

 Meari smiled at Tarja and Frakas, and wow if Frakas was an AI member as well wow they would be a force.

 Meari smiled at Jason, " Thank you Jason, looks like they are getting the Bon Fire ready."

"Ok then, let's go and say hi before they get too drunk" Izzy giggled, noting that they were all headed for the drinks stalls. After rolling up their towel Izzy would take Lizzy by the hand and lead her over to where the team was. With her not knowing any of the AI and a young man with a scar already talking to Meari Izzy would simply address the group as a whole "Hey guys, you played really well out there" she cheerfully said with a smile, all the while look for captain Si so they could speak to her.

She had enjoyed lounging with Arnie most of the day and at some point dozed off as well though when she woke, she had snuggled up to Arnie. She let out a soft, contented sigh as she watched the bonfire being lit...though admittedly...the chanting was definitely off putting. "What is with the chanting?" she asked Arnie though not taking her eyes off the spectacle.

Tarja was in the process of following the other players to the stalls in order to get herself a drink to enjoy by the fire when she heard someone complimenting them. Turning she would find a truly tiny Asian girl in a short skirt and blouse, holding hands with a buxom redhead in a T-shirt and shorts, who after a few moments she would recognise as the pilot she’d recovered during the Paradise campaign ”Ah if it isn’t our little fallen bird…Lizzy, yes?” she said trying her best to recall the woman’s name ”…you are well, yes? And who is friend?”

 Arnie Looked at her,you never  went to High school?  what  about the academy.. ? this is  like a backwards pep rally.. we  went out, kicked   ass and  now we celebrate, Bon fire is to  end the  night?

By this time tomorrow,  we'll be recalled.

 Lizzy smiled and said," Yes lets go quickly."

Lizzy walked over with Izzy to the AI group, once she got closer, she recognized the woman that was with Meari that got her when she podded out one of those times she did.

 Lizzy smiled at Tarja ," Yes I am Lizzy, you are Tarja the leader of the AI, you and Meari got me out safe, thank you again." Lizzy held Izzy's hand and added," This is Izzy she is my Fiancé we are getting married tomorrow, you should have gotten a comm, you are welcome to come."

 Meari and Frakas where walking when Jason asked," Oh Frakas got us both drinks, thank you very much, you can join us at the fire."

 Meari then saw Izzy, and Lizzy talking to Tarja and the rest of the AI, she waved and said," See you at 10 am if you need anything done just ask."

Billie blushed, averting her gaze. "I was...homeschooled...and at the Academy...I never went to those..." She wasn't a popular girl and had no friends at the Academy...she also avoided large crowds.

  Arnie   put  an arm around her,now see?  that might be the biggest thing  kids  miss out  , being homeschooled?... you don't get to interact   as much.... regardless?   you are here   right now..you were  at a few Balls on alien worlds and  ESN  carrierstaions...how many of  your fiends   can say that.

Glancing over her shoulder she would see that Rip was currently deep in conversation with someone on his comms unit so she would turn her attention back to the pair ”Come, let us get drinks and we will toast wedding”

 Lizzy smiled and replied," Yes you are my flight member and you are awesome, you have to get there by 11 am tomorrow, you can wear an Angel Silk dress, and you just stand up next to Nikki and Madison by my side."

   Lirg  and Nugest walked over to the Bon Fire.. Nugest looked at the fire  as he    Crunched  a  'ham'  bone. are they going to throw  our enemies  on the fire  so we  can eat them?

 Lirgs, 'wolfy smile as he laughed ,..No, My friend. The fleet does not  eat its  enemies..um..formally.. if you take a bite or two on the battlefield  it  is  overlooked as long as you do your  job..Avains  seem to be the best..

Izzy would smile and hold Lizzy’s hand as she spoke to a dark haired woman with pale skin, her powerful physique looking good in a bikini. From the way they spoke it was clear that they had met before though under what circumstances she wasn’t certain, with Tarja calling Lizzy a “Fallen Bird” for some reason.

After informing Tarja of their upcoming wedding, with Tarja suggesting they go and raise a toast, Lizzy would excitedly bounce off to speak with Brivet, leaving her alone with Tarja ”so…um…how do you and Lizzy know each other?” she curiously asked as they walked, finding Tarja to be just a little…intense.

”I will certainly try to attend” Tarja replied with her not having any real plans for her last day and knowing that it wasn’t everyday she got invited to a wedding. It was just as she was going ask what the dress code was when Lizzy spotted someone else and quickly left to speak with them leaving her in the company of Izzy who seemed just as surprised to see her fiancée leaving.

Glancing across at her as they started slowly walking towards the bar Tarja would find Izzy to be rather adorable prompting her to wonder what she was doing in the military with her looking far too small and delicate for a combat role, though the scarring on her face and neck said she had seen some action…a medic perhaps? or maybe a transport pilot? Assuming she was military at all.

Not one for small talk Tarja would fumble around in search of something to say, wishing that Meari or Rip was around to help out. Thankfully however Izzy would speak first; asking how she had come to know Lizzy ”I met her during Paradise campaign, Meari and I were sent to recover downed pilot from behind enemy lines, we picked them up and brought them back…pilot was Lizzy” she explained in a cool matter of fact voice, before continuing to speak ”So…um…how did you meet Lizzy then? You are fighter pilot like Lizzy, yes?” she cautiously ventured as they approached the drinks stall.

 Lizzy hugs Brivet back, smiles and replied," Ok see you around 10-10;30 ok, than you Brivet. " Lizzy then meaded back to Tarja, and Izzy.

 Lizzy got to the drink stalls with Trja and Izzy and said," Sorry I had to ask Brivet to be one of my Brides Maids, I have one more to ask. Izzy I sent Madison a comm message she hasnt replied yet. Ok what does everyone want for a drink I hope they have Burian bombs?" Lizzy was beyond bubbly and happy it looked like she was walking on air, she seemed very excited about tomorrow.

She laughed softly. "I don't have any plans of stealing anymore fighters and I am more than alright with you being the one chasing after me..." Billie gave him a rueful grin. "Besides...the LC is way to busy changing everything that we knew about him just for his current girl so..." She leaned over and kissed the side of his neck.

 Meari and Frakas got a seat with their drinks by the bonfire. " You boarded at a bad time to get to know people they get on a planet and they scatter, but when we get back aboard you will be able to meet as many as you want. Come join us we will try to introduce you to people as they go bye." Meari adjusted her sexy skimpy bikini showing off her incredibly powerful looking body, pure toned killing machine. Then she took a seat next to Frakas and enjoyed the fire.

Hesitating for all of three seconds Izzy would throw her arms around the muscular woman in a hug before pulling away and saying ”thank you for bringing her back to me” not knowing what would have happened had Lizzy been left behind enemy lines alone.

It was as they were joining the queue for a drink, that Tarja would ask how they had met and wondering if she was also a pilot ”Me?! No! I’m a trooper…I trained as light infantry so I could take a combat reporter role, things didn’t really work out with that so I’ve kind of floated into a couple of different roles…but yeah I met Lizzy whilst on shore leave on Bura, it was my first day and we were sharing a transport…anyway Lizzy had obviously took a shine to me and started hitting on me in the clumsiest way possible…but to cut a long story short I finally agreed to go on a date with her, came out of the closet and…yeah, here we are” Izzy explained, giggling at several points during the story.

It had been just as she was finishing her story that Lizzy would return from recruiting Brivet as a bridesmaid with Izzy once again taking her hand as they reached the head of the queue ”ooh yeah a berry bomb sounds good to me, what about you Tarja do you want one too? they’re super yummy!”

   Captain Si  was laughing with the Others.  Morris   was   with some Pilots  singing  old  fighter Pilot  songs,   Rivets was  entertaining others  with  Limericks  that were  'updated'  to  space  and   now.

  NA-LE came over to  Captain Si..she was distraught an, very  , concerned  ANSEC  LT was  with her.

   NIL!...Where is  your  LC  and  your SM!... tears would  sneak down her  cheeks as she struggled to  hold them back.

Nil looked   concerned. TA-LI popped up  like an 'angel-in-the-box'...Is somehting Amiss?

 NA-LI held  back the desire to scream...CO-DS!.. his  residence  is on  fire, it started  at the  top floor, according to  FC, The Bodies...the....bodies.. are mere  charred  remains!.. a woman,  Co-DS, and his  personal  guard  were Killed...   there were other  Bodies   found on what is left of the Bottom floor, and  14 ANSEC  troopers are dead in the back  yard , one  Van is badly damaged,..I want to know where you LC  and SM  are!
