I would hate that. My Late  wife , about a Month before she passed , made me sit  down with here and  she showed me how  to take care of the check book, and she  had a spiral Note book that  each page, had  1 month..and was  recorded..and..that  little book the bank gives you, and  for me , My Bank's online  account.

 I record   the Notebok and the  ledge thing. and double check my online thing  for the 'auto=pays' ...and man!.. since  2008  there must have be 10 times  when i can to call a place and say ..This  check for this   amount was sent out  by me on this  date.."  and i would be right, and they would apologize!

now..that being said.. i never have my check book balanced? its  aways short 100, or over 100 , give or take.. as long as the Bank says i have more money then i said..i'm good..if they say i have left, i go through the agonizing   .math' through each check..but man..does it bother me!

I usually check my balance online every few days, and if I notice any big changes, I'll take a look at the transaction history to make sure I know where everything went.  I've never had a problem with being charged for something I didn't get or the like.

Today's gripe?  The over-automatization of bill-collection calls.  There's no flexibility in the process. Got called while at work by T-Mobile...it's a legit call, I know I owe them a couple of months' billing, so it's not unexpected. But because of the previously mentioned snafu with rent checks and being overdrawn, I can't make a payment right now.  It's not the first time I've been in this situation, and in the past, they've always had an option to make a payment arrangement, where you basically give them permission to take the money at a later date.  So, I answered the call, expecting I'd be able to set up the payment for sometime after I get my paycheck from the park.

Well, to set up my payment, I need my account PIN...I don't even remember setting one up, so I definitely don't remember one. But because I don't remember my PIN, there's no option for setting up a payment...

So, I hung up at that point.  We'll see if I get paid before T-Mobile shuts off my phone.

I miss having live operators and customer service reps in those situations...

Roy, I had a smiliar issue with my mobile provider, only caused by the bank card I'd set payments up on being stolen. Called to change it, discovered an automated system in which changing card wasn't an option. Called their customer service, talked to a fellow who once I told him what I wanted to do dropped the call straight onto the same automated system...

At which point I changed mobile provider.

I've been sitting here for the last six hours trying to think of a reply to Roys: we got your enemy working with us can you be a good girl and work with them? question... I still haven't come up with any solutions lol

 I don't thing Zob was here when you played the last time.

 Zob is a Hybrd Demon ( orange-red)..he came aboard  and was under  a great deal of scrutiny , but he not only  got past it, he  excelled.

 sidebar..Zob left for a bit  as well, and came back.

 The Ship has   an Ape-man ( Ape folk have three  races..Apes..Apemen and  'human' all are  rather  large  and  do like to eat meat..any..meat...

we have a Hyrian..and there  are  a few Hyrian ships  and Transportbases in the Fleet

 we have  a Sanri..Felrites..Burains..Nivarian, Largs,Gava..there are Naragrans in the Fleet, none on the Hermes though, no suitable quarters for them...Udenese..verian..Angels, Burians,and Occui.

 it is to be assumed there  are  at least, a handful of  each, carrying out ships' tasks  The  Troopers have  some listed  on the  NPC page

so..yeah?  lots of people  could be getting into lots of fights, if they  choose to  be harded..needless to say, that  all is up to the  PC!
