The   Seaman  looked through his Vidboard again...again?.. we can try and  a Human silencer?... when you get back, maybe  we can machine it down to fit...and work..right?

  The  QM   clerk, just  nodded,..Yes  and no?  we have the chest protecter  and the  back plates   ready.. the whole tail-thing..is slowign up the rest?... You won't need Head gear on the station...

   Garrat came in and stowed his gear, the QM will be surprised to see only a few scratches on it this time.====>  Quarters for a shower and a change then on to the rec-deck party.

 when the  reach the  Cage, there are two seamen sitting  behind the wires.. One is   putting together a Pulse rifle with  quick movements .... Another Burley Man... Darker   hair, but unlike Rivet's Irish accent, he had a Scottish one. . He two wore the Orange of Maintenance coverall, and Crushed come cover  cap

 The QM looks Duke over,well Laddie.... ye  pick yer weapons  and  we'll git ya  fixed up... we have  alot of  types, but here might be some we dunn 'ave.. so  let's get started...

 The Seaman who wasn't putting the rifle together spun a Vidboard with pics of the weapons in stock..

"I'll just take the standard pulse rifle and regulation sidearm that goes with it, because I wouldn't want to to cause ya any trouble, and it's easier on me that way too."   Duke stated to the burly QM in front of him.   John further continued in a breath later, "I have a combat knife, I acquired in Boot Camp.   No, it wasn't in Navy Boot but Marine Boot Camp, where I picked it up.   Can I send away for it and my folks can send it to me."

 The  Seaman Moves  off  to the Back to get the weapons.  The QM Looked at the sheet and said,..The Plato..one of the  newer transport bases.

 The QM watched the Seaman with a critical eye  as   he began the  'salespitch'......alright PO?.. we got One standard   ESN  Pulse  rifle... In the case is a scope..two powercells.. both are charged...  the smaller case has One standard ESN NAvy  pulse   pistol... made to look like at .45.. two powercells..both charged..... I am ordered to Remind the PO..that  a held in trigger will emit a tream of  Pulse power.. though it  is highly more  effective, it draisn the Cells  faster, and also give  enemies a fix on your position...

 ..The PO is required, By  ESN rules to carry  a sidearm and  some form of  Blade at all times... if you have questions , pelase ask now?.. if Not.. sign you name   under the  list, on the Vid board.

 The QM nodded  , seemingly happy with the new seaman Quartermaster.

"Can I send for my own Marine boot camp combat knife, Seaman?   If so, let me know now, please and I'll order it shipped right now to me."   Replied Duke to the Seaman after he didn't answer the his last question which dealt with this very ESN reg.

 The QM  Nodded to Duke,..You can either   send a COM home for them to send it... or  we can send a COM from here.. It  will arrive with supplies  from back home...what...supplies we get, anyway..

 Rivets  looked disgusted,..Earth and  the Sol System is slowly turning there  bloody back on us... Fuji is more Home now... with Bura  and Astra being the planets  close ..But the Delta Colonies  being preferred..thouhg? You don't want to end up in a penal colony/

Here is the letter that should accompany the order for my combat knife.

"Hey Mom and Dad;

Just a note telling you that I am safe and well and have arrived at my destination safely.   Now the main reason for the missive, Can you please send me, my Marine Combat Knife, that can be found in my foot locker.   I need it like, Yesterday!   In other words, I should have acquired it at home, when I was there.   It's regulation for the fleet.    Is there any way either of you can expedite the supply order if possible.

Thank you both for all the work you do.   Mom as the Ambassador and Dad for the industrial supplies that help keep the fleet moving."

    The QM   smiles and nods, The  Seaman quartermaster  scans it into the  Machine......depending on COM traffic..it should reach  earth  in a few minutes...They will acknowledge the  arrival,  and you'll be good...

     Rivets  Nods  ot the QM and his   mates,..that all ya  need then, Boyo?

    A very short white haired man with an entertainer's jacket walks in "Ah, there you are sir, it seems the fleet has been using me rather regularly an I was wondering if I can get some better weapons fer what they were askin me to do.  Standard issue doesn't seem to fit me hands very well an bein a fast draw artist, well, rifles just never sat well with me."

   Joseph seem to see Duke fer the first time, "Ah, a new face." Joseph looks around let me guess, weren't quit set with required gear when ye came on board."

  The QM looked    over the    cage railings ,well?  yer gonna have  to  tell  me what yer lookin'  fer , Laddie... You want somethin; like the LC uses... an Sanri Blaster  fer  you would be like a sawed off  shotgun.... it's  about what he uses  his  fer, but he's a might taller then yerself.

 Rivets  waits  to see  if Duke wants to chat  with Joe Mac or no....

  The QM   rubs a bristled  chin,..well.. we  got  Greaseguns  and Thompsons  that  fire Pulse... encapsulated.. or off the Power cell?

 The  QM    snaps  his fingers a couple times  and the   Cage  Clerk gives him the Vidboard.

  Flicking through the screens   turns  the    board  around,...we got  Mauser Machine Pistol.... hard   ammo..or   Powercell fed?...Unless you can find  a Largan Souvenir..they are  hard to come by..like a Luger in WWII

    Joseph remembers a trick his old watch making teacher showed him, "Can I get two power-cell fed?"

  The QM    Placed the  Vidboard on the   cage ledge,..not  from  me or my people.... it goes  wrong  an' killa  sya, or   some other bloody sot..then  its our  heads?  Ye get the stock model... or any  customer that is oked but the ESN... double  feeds are what boobytraps are made of.

I mean two guns, that are power cell feed.

  The QM looks  a might  embarrased, he clears  his throat,..um... aye...of  course... Seaman?.. see too it then...

 The Seaman Nods  to the  The QM and   goes into the back to sort out the Order

 In a minute or  so he returns , Opens  the Cases, to make sure the weapions  are there, and cells  are new.

  ..there you go , Sir... all set..Just sign here. the seaman pivots the  board around.
