 some  10 minutes later.. Jack  had a duffle  with  two sets of  duty Uniforms  and two sets  of PT.. boarding  armor ( normally for a woman, but the  armorer 'adjusted ' the Chest piece)

 and a  Helmet that  had  ' Jax" on the forehead.

 Jax did get to pick his own Blade.. he chose a trench knife with the knuckled  handle...saw a Guy use  one of this  in the Stem once.. punched  the guy, then  drew the Blade  accross  his throat..saves alot of motion..

 Hefting his  Buffle and Rifle after  Buckling on the weapons  belt....now  where?

Roy grinned.  "Your new quarters, unless you want to keep carrying all that around for the rest of the tour.  But you'll get a lot of weird stares, if you do."

He started walking, pausing after a couple of steps.  "You want a hand with all that...it's a lot to juggle, even though we aren't going really far."

Jaw  Smiled,..let me see how much of this  i can  handle?  If not  You can take the Rifle?..

 He and Larry waited  for    Roy to lead on.

Roy grinned...he liked Jax's "let me try it" attitude.  "Fair enough," he answered, then added, "Just sing out if it gets to be too much."

He was pretty sure Jax would collapse and drag himself down the hall before he'd say anything...and there was certainly a place for that kind of determination.  It could become a liability, though...but there was time to teach that.

He led the way, commenting on events that had happened in various locations throughout the ship...as much as familiarizing Jax with the ship, he also intended to instill a sense of esprit de corps, a value for the tradition he'd be helping uphold.

With her new friend hopefully in tow Harry would enter the Quarter Masters store, giving the rows of gleaming pulse rifles and crates of assorted items a casual glance as she walked up to whoever happened to be behind the desk "The LC wants this one to attend the after party so she could do with something to wear" she said, making it clear that this wasn't her idea and that she was only following orders and the quicker they were able to find Constance something to wear the quicker they could get back to doing something more important "...anything will do so long as it's clean and roughly her size" she continued in the same put upon tone of voice that hinted that the first thing they could lay their hands on would do.

   The clerk looked at the red Uniformed  woman, hho gave a  quick, uneasy smile, and  went into the back.

  ..You seem a Tad ..off?   One should   thing you would be happy to help a ..supieor offcier go to this ..'party'...

  The    woman came  BAck,..It's  an Ensign's 'off  duty  Dress...I took the rank off.. your  belt it around the Middle.. Your boots  will do....

 the woman   tossed her the Dress...oh  i say... the whole ship is  rude then?

There was a single snort of derisive laughter in response to Constance's comment "there ain't nothing superior about you love...you just outrank me for the time being" she said, before thanking the QM for the dress.

It was as they were heading for the door that Harry would address the woman's final comment concerning her perceived rudeness of the rest of the crew "What can I say, respect is earned around here and you've done nothing yet to earn it...also you and your pal's killed a lot of our people so I'd get used to the frosty reception if I was you" she said, once again signalling for her to follow her  "...then again you wouldn't be the first Red Bird to join us...we have former EVOL's, SSN and Merc's on this ship so if you drop the superiority attitude, work hard and do as you're told I see no reason why you can't fit in here...hell...I may even salute you...maybe" she said with a chuckle before taking her back to her quarters so they could both get a much needed shower.

Nikki had jogged to the quartermasters area.  She waited for the one person in front of her to get done then she moved up and presented the ID required. "I sent a comm down with a list"
"Got it" the gentleman there went and retrieved the items including a back for Haleys things, as well as some items for 'Delta Night' if needed and replacements of ammo.
"Cool...thank you and your people.  Oh and I had not gotten here before but I wanted to say thank you all for the extra bunk in my quarters." she smiled as she signed the equipment list and such.
with no further fuss she then headed back to her quarters.

Zob who felt rather pleased with himself made his way up to the QM's cage and approached the front, "Ive just been assigned to work here, given how short handed you all have been after the last boarding action" im sure they weren't gonna put up to much fuss given how short handed they were.

 The QM  came to the Front.well? If that's the case?  we're  already for ya. Got us  a wee bit of  Armor ta get  together  fer them Germans, and  switching over the  Scots to SEC patches.. Settin' up  weapon's lockers..

 he shrugs, comon in?... Yer  duty starts  now..

Zob steps in the shed and takes a look around, "So what do you want me to start on first?" he asked curious of where the QM wanted him to start on first.

 a shorter  woman  steps  Up...well, its not  as  easy as  all that... this  will take a Bit.. But lets  get  you  familar with  the  tools,  storage areas.. and then  we'll see   about your working on Armor...

Zob shrugged a bit wondering if this may of been a mistake, "I kinda figured as much..." he said as he turned to the woman he would be working with, "Very well then show me the ropes!" he said his tone changing with a more optimistic attitude.

 The woman showed him were  the   tool kits  are  and where they bhad to be put  back.. he  saw  rifle barrels , stocks .. Ammo Lokcers..power cell lockers..  blades   and armor.

 at almost every station  she would repeat "..the QM expects everything put back in place" after the tour  she oepned a   door  to a Back room.. Elevator from the Hold.. large crates marked  'Lt Boarding Armor"  ect ect..

 now?.. we   pick a name from the   Vid Board.. find the armor they want..and begin to size it..when it s done  we take it to the  Cage  and  put the  crew memember's  name on it....

Zob took note of the different stations and the over emphasis on making sure everything is put away perfectly when they went in the backroom and over to the crates he looked towards the board then back to her, "Doesn't sound to difficult" he then went over to the board and picked a name, "Ok it looks like medium boarding armor..."

  The   woman  nodded...so...  you garb a  set  of Med  Boarding Armor, take it into one of the   4 tables to work.. You call up  that person's   stats.. and begin to put the   armor together....if all works out well?  we  will only need  to tweak it here and there  for them, when they come to try it on.. we  found  most cases  come  down to fitting the   lower legs..or the chest..

 ..Once  you have the Kit  put together, You hang it  up.. send a COM call to that person, for them to come in  for a fitting... they have  30 minutes to comply or they have to wear what they have...

Zob went over to the crate and grabbed a set of medium boarding armor and brought it to station 2's table he then typed up on the vid board a moment and brought up SGT Bruno Falst stats and looked them over, "Ok... this seems doable" he then grabbed a set of tools from the shelf and began putting together the armor following the measurements to the letter, "So tell me whats it like working in the cage?" he said making small talk while he worked.

  The woman had a  suit  of  Heavy Boarding armor. well?  we always have things  to do.  We have folks  who need  armor..or  need  aromor  fixed.. weapons that need servcied..   counting numbers  for for  ammo  and stuff...every now  and then  we get peopel who come over and demand  somethign we don't have..or demand  something in  Minutes that might take hours... QM sorts them out  quickly..He and  Rivets rule thier    area, like  a Tyrant god..and its a good thing.

Zob nodded and did a few adjustments here and there on the armor he was decent at the job just not as fast given the lack of practice, "I know all about about Tyrant's been dealing with em for a little over 4 millennia..." he scoffed as he finished the lower half of the armor, "Its like that everywhere it seems but i don't expect to many people to get upset or rowdy now that im here... almost finished with this armor"

After doing his duty tasks he set off towards the rec Dec to get some food.

 The  Seaman  at the   cage      listens to her.. and in a practiced     manner    Began to  tap on Vidbaords  and spinning them around for   Lizzy  to see.

 .. a Pilot is permitted   2 Grenades for thie r  fighter....

  There are the SMGs.. the Greasegun is popular.. as  his the German  counter  part... and we have a few Thompsons ...  he  spins  the  Vidboard  around.

 ..You must  carry  a boot knife  and side  arm at all times  , with  rare  exceptions.. the  varied  type  of  Sidearms....

 Reaching for the third ,he   says,..for  rules purposes... SMGs   count  as a  Long arm.. you may have one   Long arm in your  quarters   along with the side arm you carry.... you may  ..NOT..have  explosives  in your quarters..

 As you look over the  weapons, Keep in mind   they came in  'hard ammo...Pulse.. or capuslized Pulse  '

 Lizzy was displeased she could only have 2 grenades, but she nodded when the Seaman said that, she will look at the Vid screen and finally says," Thank you Seaman, I will take the Thompson, hard ammo, could i have 2 extra drums, please. I will take a Pulse 45 Automatic for a sidearm, and the Survival boot knife, thank you Seaman."

 Lizzy stands there excited, waiting for her gear to arrive.

  he sent  the feed to the Back..  a few miniutes   later  another QM  seaman came  with  a Thomson.. On e drum attached.. and One  extr a drum.. the 45   Pusle  style  weapon and  the   Knife  with sheath

 Lizzy gets all her stuff and goes damn to herself, " Seaman I need the 2 grenades I am allowed as well." With trying to decide her weapons and ammo she forgot to actually ask for the grenades."

 Lizzy will wait for the grenades to be brought out, as she does she will holster the 45 Pulse style sidearm, put the knife in it's sheath into her boot she will wait for her grenades. She will say," Thank you and have a good day Seaman." Once the grenades arrive.

 She will head back to the Hanger Dec to get her Thompson, the grenades , and then drum for the Thompson stored away properly and ready for combat.
