Lizzy will bend down , twist and jog as much as she could and she then says," It fits good, the hips feel good yeah it feels like a stiff enviro suit, it feels real good, thank you."

Nikki jogged to the QM desk "Hey, I forgot something.  I am sure your getting a rush on them now.  I need Light boarding armor to go with the envirosuit" She gave a bit of a sheepish grin "I know I had some when being a assault shuttle pilot for the New York boarding.  is it possible to get either that or new?" she asked.

  The Clerk Buzzed  Nikki in. They went back to ther slot with her name on it.

  Well Ma'am, the armorer said. we got that armor... we have to  change the Ratigns on it. It still has the  'one wing' for a Shuttle pilot, but that won't  take  long, other then that, its good to go.

"Is the new armor better?  I'm in a mantis now so do need more movement?" she asked not knowing if there would be a difference.

  ..Notr really Ma';am? it not that old..we'll run it through the pressure  checks , if there is  any problems , we have you size, we can make a New one, but  we'll have to  call you back for  adjustments... Zob approached the cage it felt awkward to be down here again so soon but after just getting his last request, "I need to check out a hard ammo heavy machine gun for the upcoming mission, the pulse one i normally use isn't gonna cut it against that that Verian armor coating"

Jug, with squad in tow moved to the desk of the QM.  There Jug spoke up, the others silent behind her "We come to see about boarding?...Yes, boarding armor for tomorrow" she gave him a salute.  She truly hoped by now they would have some that would fit gavans.  "Also weapons, Pulse rifles, pulse pistols" She would only ask for equipment each would need for the fight.

  The QM came out himself  and  Motioned them into the Back.. as they filed  through he   told them no to touch anything, because they Might get hurt. or hurt someone else..

  The armors   were  finishing Up two suits  of Light boarding armor   for Pilots.. and  sliding them into the slot with  the pilot's name.

  The head  armor looked at them and said,we don't have  'real' armor  for you  yet..we're  working with Occui to get  some of thier  smaller suits..But?  we have  these...

 she  Opened Boxes of  Blue and  light blue  Enviro suits..we got these from  Miss Emmie... Kid's enviro suits for  thsoe kids  who have too much Creds and go space walking and stuff.

  Then we Got these....  she   has  some   odd  shaped  metal  items that are connected  to  each other  with  straps...These  are demon  Thigh pads... and   we  rigged  them  with  straps to tighten over your   envior  suits.   Your  helps  we  seal the  suit, and we have  an O2  canister for your back... there is  one hour on the cannister.. when you reach a place that has  Oxegen,  you cut  the  O2   feed , and  hit the  Yellow  button,  the  Canister  will draw in O2  from the  enviroment.. i would not suggest you use it  in smokey areas.

 we are trying to fashion our own 'Gava' armor..but for  right  now, the Gava in the  fleet  have envior  suits  and chest/back plates

"It work" she nodded

  it would take a good hour  with   the armorer and  4 Tech   getting the   Gava to   dress in the enviro suits  and then hold still to get the  chest/backplates   fitted and show the Gava how to   secure the straps once they were tight, and how to take them off.

 The  boots were  easy as  Emmie  had   several dozen kid  and youth   sided   boots  used  for EVAC for kids .

 while Fitting them, the Armorer  looked at Jug...Until we can get you  REAL ...Gava  sized    boarding armor, you have to..be careful.....when  tiem coems  to enter a ship.. be   either  the first or last in?... your Enviro suits  will hold the   Cold off  for a bit..but you don't want to push it.. the only heat regulation will be from the  helmet sealing  you heat from escaping your   neck.... if you  suit  gets   torn.. you'll have   to patch it like this...

 She holds up a  suit  and  shoots it  with a  pulse  pistol.. then she takes a Patch.. making sure  , every one  sees.. peels off the back  and slaps it over the  hole.. the patch 'melts  into the fibers and  is ...seeming..path of the   suit.

 ..now?  these belts .. there will be two pouches , one on each side.. the pouchs have  3 patches  each.. for  fixing yuour own, or  one of your  teammates suits...

 if her head gear gets  damaged.. patch it up.. and make sure you  run fast to the shuttle, so   The Black  don't take you...

..need less to say?  if you are   on a planet, you may not need to worry about  that as much... any questions?

before leaving Jug made sure each could put the armor on and off as shown...every piece.
She made sure the extra patches for the suits would be available to go with them.  She also inquired about weapons  and what they needed.

Only when satisfied would their business be done.  By now it was getting late and she ushered them to their quarters.

 Meari walks up to the Quartermasters cage and she says," I have just been stationed here and I need 3 duty uniforms, one Dress uniform and a casual duty uniform, also do you have any Kukri's, also I am allowed a long arm as well."

  The QM still had his  dress uniform on, the  Clerks  that were  working were wearing  duty uniforms, but it was plain they were just getting back to  work.

  well Right  you are Lass, Best  come in the Back  and git yerself measured up, before  the rest of the   replacements who  need them come back..

  Opening the  Cage ,  he  ushers her in , Two   Seamen  have tape measures   and  Vidboards

 I'm Seaman Carla  Vissa, now. What Race? Undenese?    ESN... ?  The male  was  already using the  tape measure and  punching in numbers on his Vidboard.

 Meari bowed and walked into the QM locker, she had her ice cold expression on her face. Meari looks at the woman and says coldly,"  Pleasure to meet you yes I am Undenese Special Commando's former member of SEC on the Uden's Promise. I am a member of the APF and ESN, they gave me the rank of Sergeant in the ESN, Seaman Vissa do I need to remove my armor and weapons I have an envirosuit on underneath Seaman Vissa."

 Vissa looked her  over,best to take off the   Armor... George?

 The  Guy Nodded,I have Ball park measurements if she wants it  to fit   perfect, it would be  better without the  armor

  the clerk working the  front  came   BAck and   took pics  of the   Undenese patches. then moved off to upload the   picture   into the database until she found the  matches ,  punched  in '12"..and the   machine  began  to  sew.

 Meari nods and then removes her weapons first and she handles then extremely well like a true professional. Once all her weapons where off she removes her armor and then stands in her Envirosuit ready for them to take her measurements."Is this better." she says with a little warmth in her voice.

   George   shrugged,the whole idea of  a Uniform is to lok good... so..yeah..this is better.. i was off 1/2  inch on the shoudlers, and  an inch on the taper to your waist.. you would have looked like  yu had on Garrat's   tunic...

 Vissa   snorted  as she  finished and said,what arms  did you bring along?... we have alot of arms in stock, or captured... and , with us  docking at Uden we can pulls  some  weapons from supply ships or Unden.. tell us what you want... there are   the pusle   weapons that may also use  encapsulated   round.. and HArd ammo.. there are a few Lazar weapons, but they are slowly going out of   favor except  for certain ops.

 Meari looked at George and says," Yes I need it to look good but also good for movement and combat as well, I guess SEC here doesn't wear armor all the time. Garret I did not seem him on the list Lilit gave me to learn."

 Meari looked at Vissa and said," I have all the weapons there, my long arm I brought is this." She opens up her bag and pulls out her state of the art Undenese combat bow. Meari had a twinkle in her eye when she picked up her bow., and then said," This was specially made for me it was a award for graduating top in my class at Undenese Special Commando training. I have no other weapons with me, now I heard you have some fun, maybe exciting hard ammo long arms, do you have something with stopping power and I can carry easily? Also do you have a pair of the Sgt. Major's Kukri I really liked those weapons." Meari had a smile on her face,(A real smile for Meari that is) when she started talking about weapons and combat.

  Vissa  calls out to the Front,check on a Kukri.. see if  any are in stock...

 George     is feeding measurements into the  Vidboard as he says , half distracted,..you are allowed on long arm.. your bow won't count towards that... there is , in teh Civie section, an old chapel that  has been truned into a gym and , the uper    part is an archery range.. The First V=Burians  we picked up  gve   lessons.. the  Burians  assault team that joined is   also has desiganted archers... LT Flroes  is  damn good with a bow.. she carried  an Aqra bow  .. Damn things  a savage!... she uses   a mix of   Human made arrows  and the Aqra  'fishing ' arrows.

 They will notice she seems happy and in a better mood taking weapons, Meari listens and says," Very good so I can have my Undenese Bow, and a powerful hard ammo longarm as well. What do you suggest for a hard ammo longarm? That is great you have a gym and an archery range Thank you. I will talk with this Lt. Flores, do you have any special arrows or do you know who could make me some?"

     the  girl came back from teh front,no Kukri here, right now.. The  Tyr  as a few, they'll send two over for us.. they'll get here when we dock. I imagine there is  goign to be tradeoffs of people and equipment before  we   access the  Udenese  supply base.

 Vissa  who seemed to be in charge as the QM watched like he was  proctoring a test...you have to decide what you want?.. check the Vid  log and see the   types of weapons..and choose

 George adds, Burians  like wooded shafts. But they  aren't very good   when  you're  fighting  on a ship...most of the humans and Nivaians use  metal shafts, since  its almost like a poison arrow to Demons.. this aqra arrows are metal shafted , they have a tri ehaded tip... and once the   shaft impacts the  head  opens up...like a fish hook.. so.. if you push the shaft through, or pull it out the damage is tripled.. the best way  to remove them, is to  cut the plug of flesh bout  around the head..and foam up the wound.. of course, if you get one in the Gut.. well... there  better be a field  Med etch tent  close by....

 damn fish bastards use that to   get humans who wander too close to the water..., they get hit with the  Arrow  and the   Aqra have a windlass  on thier belt  that pulls the   prey under the  water... he snickers...though how much of that they get to do  now is debatable.. some one goes missing.. they ESN bombs the  hell out of the area, and let concussions  do the rest.

 Meari smiled and said," Yes that would be great I can add them to the lower back and still wear my swords mostly just for show then, plus they are very special to me my Grandmod Lilit gave them to me."

 Meari goes through the Vid log, there where machine guns, powerful heavy weapons, she wanted something smaller with some stopping power and she did not things close. Then she found the right one for her, she then said to Vissa," I will take that impressive assault combat shotgun and as many shells as I am allowed,that seems to fit my style don't you think Seaman Vissa?"

 Meari looks at George, " Yes  mine have normal tips with metal shafts. I wouldn't mind getting some of those Aqra arrows if you have any?"

 Meari then sees they are done measuring her and she says," May I get dressed again, and how long will the uniforms take, Sgt Major told me to meet the crew if the uniforms will take time I can come back after I do that, you both have been great thank you for your help."
