Zob set down his smokewood cigar and glanced over as the ladies approached him, "Combat medic eh?" he then slowly extended his hand, "Welcome to the team Ms Roo it will be good to have another medic with us on the ground, i don't know what you heard about me but all i ask is you don't make trouble around here you do that and will get along just fine" there was no malicious intent in his words just hard facts.

He then took a drink of his beer, "If you need anything im not hard to find, i took the liberty of picking up your tab here so enjoy all the drinks you want but try not to get to drunk where you can't even stand"

 Sam smiled and replied not too tipsy but happy. Sam smiled at Zob, she had seen him at work and that was one person you did not want too piss off.

 Sam giggled at Roo as she reacted to the Burian fire. Sam replied," It is good Roo, I am glad you like."

 Zob spoke too Roo, Sam smiled, and then Zob said he was picking up their tab and Sam replied," Thank you very much Zob, well I will try too keep her out of trouble." Sam smiled, she was having fun maybe she needed too lighten up more.

Roo gave the big demon a smile. "Aye to that, Sergeant. Just catching enough of a buzz to feel it but not enough to hamper anything if we need to bug out. Nothing that a caffeine cocktail can't slam out of a person later if needed."

At Sam'words, Roo's smile widened nearly ear to ear. "Care to define 'trouble' in that statement, Miss Robertson?" She called over to the other woman, wriggling an eyebrow at her. A sudden idea hit her and with her drink still in one hand she grabbed Sam's hand up with the other.

"Sergeant." She started and then stopped. He was here on downtime too, which meant formalities were out the window and she had been introduced already. "Zob." She nodded at the floor where other bodies were gyrating to the music. "Care to dance with us?"

 Sam smiled at Roo, she wasnt too drunk just letting it affect her, if she had too she could get right quick. Sam smiled and replied," Well I think I will just keep you close that will keep you out of trouble. "

 Just before Zob answered the Announcement went off saying they had 2 hours before jump off. Sam got sober quickly and replied to Roo," Damn that was fast, I need to go help Beth setup, your stuff is in my quarters lets get you suited up and on the Hanger Dec they will need you for this fight.

 Sam then smiled at Zob and took Roo's hand as she began to leave the pulse too get ready for jumpoff.

Zob was about to take her up on that offer then the PA system went off, "Unfortunately ill have to take as what the humans call a rain check on that dance... we gotta get ready for jump off ill see you on the hanger dec" he then saw himself out to go and get ready for combat.

It took a bit moving slower then usual making sure Madison didint fall on her face as they walked in the sound of the music banged in his ears like a drum which was oddly satisfying, "Bartender all drinks on my tab for the next 30 minutes enjoy everyone!" He shouted as he found himself a table and had some wings brought over as well as a round of drinks for him and her.

"Here let's have another shot then hit that floor like there is no tomorrow" he said as he slid another drink her way.

The Pulse wasn't as far away as Madison thought. Zob did walk more slowly than the seven foot tall Demon might have, but it was probably because she stumbled once. Yes, she was past tipsy, but as far as she was concerned it was because of the heels. She didn't want Zob to get the impression that she couldn't handle her liquor, so when they finally found a table, she kicked off the shoes.

Despite being careful with her on the walk over, Zob certainly wasn't treated her like a child. She appreciated that he was happy to slide yet another glass of Burian whiskey her way. She was really pleased by his suggestion.

"Dance like there's no tomorrow, " she repeated. "Okay, big guy. Just make sure you can keep up." With a big swig, she downed the drink and slammed the glass on the table top. "Let's do this!"

In bare feet, Madison pranced ahead of Zob, bouncing and spinning with the heavy beat. The bass vibrated in her ribs, and the swirl of Dance lights added a new kind of intoxication. This was more like it and she was ready to go wild.

After the shot he went out to the dance floor with her and really let loose swaying side to side and even picking her up and twirling her overhead with his great strength, right now tomorrow didint matter he was all in the here and now.

Madison laughed and screamed in delight as the new wild and energetic Zob, lifted and twirled her about. She had had a nice time on the REC DEC, but now she was having real fun. Her adrenaline was pumping, mixing with the alcohol to put her in an incredible high. The lights, the beat, Zob's amazing strength and energy, it was a heady mix that she drank in huge doses. She felt alive and exhilarated and she had every intention of making it a long night.

  The People  in The Pulse  were  surprised at the   drinks..they shouted   thier thanks, some rushed over, other  continued to eat and  dance, or talk, getting  a drink when it  was needed.

 The  muisc  never slowed down... most folks here,  either   just partied  because they wanted to..or partied  to forget where they were just at

Zob was going at it harder and faster then he had ever done before it was like he was a whole differe t person as he moved across the floor with a unnatural grace with her in his arms as the lights and music flowed together in such perfect harmony.

He continued to twirl her about following it onto a graceful dip as he shuffled from left to right... maybe it was the alcohol catching up to him but none of that mattered right now.

The chemistry between Zob and Madison was boiling over. His grace and energy was captivating. Keeping up with the music, the harder her went, the more she responded. "Gods, Zob, you're amazing." She called out over the din. Her skirt flew out as she spun, leaning back and pulling his head into her chest as he dropped her into a dip. She laughed as he threw her up in the air and then caught her cradled in his arms. She put her hands on his cheeks turning his face to hers, locking her green eyes with his orange flame. "How can we kick it up a few notches?"

Zob held her in his arms as the lights and music played around him it was kinda like being frozen in time, "I can think of something" he said with a grin as he dared to steal a kiss.

Zob kissed her. Madison's eyebrows went up, even as her eyes closed to kiss him back. Of all the possible responses Zob could have given, this was near the top of the list of the most likely. It was also a response she liked. Was that the music or her heat thundering in her ears? His lips on hers added a kick to the heady party drug that she had been brewing directly in her veins. He stole a kiss, but there were many more to take. She was happy to let him help himself to as many as he wanted while she took a few of her own.

Zob lost himself in the heat of the moment after a few moments he broke off the kiss, "Thank you Madison its been a wonderful evening" he said as he held her there in his arms he wasn't ready to just let the night end with her but it was indeed starting to get late and being late to the send offs was not a option.

When Zob broke the kiss, Madison's eyes fluttered open. The lights were still going, but the beat had changed. She had no idea how much time had passed, nor did she care, but Zob seemed to be calling it a night. She wondered if she had maybe pushed something too far? Was her kiss bad or good? Drunken kissing could go either way. Maybe it wasn't even her. His grip on her was as strong as ever, so he wasn't pulling away. She was comfortable right where she was, so it wasn't her sending up a signal to slow down. If anything she would get closer. Maybe it was just that late.

"Oh," She couldn't hide some self-conscious surprise. "Is it that time already?" Whatever that time was. "Too bad. I've still got a lot of wild energy." She stared into his flaming eyes, stroking his cheek with her fingertips. If he wanted to break the momentum, it have to be on him. She wasn't going to make it easy. "How about we just move the party to a private dance?"

Zob was having a wonderful time with her and he wanted to make sure she understood that it was nothing she did, "It is getting pretty late in the evening but I'm all for moving it to a private dance, please lead on"

Zob either got the loud screaming hint or it was his plan all along. Madison didn't mind either way. As much as she often wanted to be, she wasn't typically so bold and she was going to make the most of it while she could.

"Lead?" She giggled. She looked down at the large arms holding her. "I'm not leading anywhere. How about I direct, and you carry me? Your lair, or my loft?"

Zob chuckled perhaps he had one to many to drink over the course of this evening that it completely slipped his mind, "Will go to your loft i know the way to officer country you will have to tell me which one though" when she was ready he would carry her back to her quarters with her instructions.

"Woohooo!" Madison wrapped her arm around Zobs shoulder and pointed to the door, wooting and kicking her feet.

Upon entering the Pulse, Alison's eyes swept over the facility, and she nodded approvingly, finding the decor and the atmosphere to her liking.    And the music as well, though it wasn't any she was familiar with.

"Well, I think it's rather nice," she said to Justin.  "So. You want to go to the bar, or get a booth?   Or go dance for a bit, and then have a drink?"

Justin gave a nod of agreement about the layout and ambience. I suspect claiming a table or such will give us a haven of respite from dancing. suggested Justin before asking what the Doc would like to drink.

"Okay, sounds like a plan; how 'bout that one over there?" She pointed to a place just off the main floor, located not too far from the bar.

And as to the drink:  "You know, I think a mojito would really hit the spot."

Giving the Doc a thumb up Justin headed to the bar ordering a Mojo and Tripple Tauny Port. Carrying the glasses to the table he offered the Doc her Mojo. Taking a sip of his port Justin slipped the tumbler onto the table. Would you care to provide a little Dance instruction to a three toed left pawed sloth. he asked.
