Waking ..... taking a few seconds to remember he had transferred back to the Hermes, Slick had to look around before realizing he was needing to get dressed, and head to the hanger for the send-off...
  After quickly washing his face and finishing his morning routine in the latrine, he dressed  and headed out the door to the lift..

 Meari woke up early, she showered and then got into her dress uniform, she wanted to wear her swords but thought it would be over the top for a send off. Lilit had told her about these rituals she wanted to see it first before she did something wrong. She did not want to disrespect the honorable fallen.  She had her Kukri set on her back, sidearm, dual combat knives in her boots, spare sidearm in her right boot, combat knife in her left. She then made sure her uniform looked perfect and headed for the Hanger Deck for sendoff.

 Heading to his berth, he walked around other folks in the passegway, upon enetering his bunk area, he quickly dressed down out of his dress uniform and hung it up and the grabbed his work dregs and a pair of coveralls, once decked out in them he drapped the coveralls over his shoulder and grabbed his tool belt and any items he always carried with him in his pockets for daily carry. Turned out his lights and headed out and to the lift.

 Meari walked onto the Deck and said to the Guards," Good evening and thank you again for what you do." Meari nodded, smiled and headed for her quarters.

 Once Meari got to her quarters she got undressed and took a shower they got back early so she decided to head to the Rec Dec for a bit before turning in for the night.

 She would get on a clean duty uniform check her weapons, everything but her shotgun and her bow. She then headed out for the Rec Dec.

Jug and the other gava could be heard in thier rooms carrying on.  They seemed to be having thier own party from the sound of it.

 Slick gets into his berth and cleans up from the days excursions and excitement, showers, sits at his desk, and in preparation for the next morning he goes over his notes and vids. Preparing for what he thinks may be a game changer for his ideas to date. He studies his notes and charts that he knows by heart already and figures he better not mess this opportunity up. He thinks about the hundreds, if not thousands, of hours he's worked on these designs and the processes. In what must be his dreams of dreams, he will be showing it to the top brass tomorrow, hopefully.
 he re-reads everything he has in his notes for hours before crawling into bed, and fitfully falling asleep.

  As his proximity alarm alerts him another enemy, in the cockpit of the birdcage, Slick is fighting and running, firing his launcher and attemtping to dodge a blast from some un-holy fire spitting weapon he realizes that the proximity alarm sounds wrong, yet very familiar..... when he realizes his cockpit has been breached and the fire is coming through the metaglass,.... He bolts upright in his bunk, looking left and right  a couple of times before his hand shoots out automatically to hit the alarm ringing at his bunks side table....

  He sits there a second before breathing deep and turnung to put his feet on the deck. he takes one more deep breath before standing and walking to the head for his morning rituals..

  With his uniform on and his coveralls over his shoulder and his tool belt in his hand, he stroll from his berth to the lift. nodding good morning to the others in the passageway he makes his way to the Hanager Deck..

Eventually the Gava grew weary after letting out some energy.  They would quiet down and soon sleep til the alarm went off.

 Meari came off the lift, she stopped at the guards and said," Thank you for what you do, makes me sleep easier." She nods and then heads for her quarters.

 She gets to her quarters and enters, she puts her weapons away, then her uniform, she was extremely organized. Once everything was away in it's place, she then crawled into her bed and went to sleep.

 Meari woke up and got ready, very organized and professional. Once she was dressed and had her weapons ready, she left her bow and shotgun in her room all other weapons she had on her. She then had her official paperwork and headed for SEC to officially check in. Meari left her quarters and headed for the lift, she smiled and said to the guards," Thank you again your duty  is appreciated thank you."

 Meari walked by the smiled and said," Thank you."  nodded and headed for her quarters. Once inside she got undressed and jumped into the shower, once she was re;axed and clean she stepped out and dried off.

 Once she was dry she decided to lay down for a bit, she set an alarm to make sure it was only for a few hours and she would have plenty of time to get some food and relax before the next jump off. She laid down and thought of the planet and how they had to leave so fast, and most likely went they head back there will be little resistance.

 She thought of the day and what was coming next as she drifted off.

 Meari did not sleep long but it was all she needed for now, plus she was still a little pumped knowing they where going back. She was starving though, she got up and quickly got into her duty uniform, just put on her sidearm, she had her boots with her undenese paired knives, her kukri along her Bac, her hard ammo pistol in her right boot and her new One Eye Knife it it's sheath in her other boot. She left her swords, bow and shotgun in her room.

 Once she was ready she headed for the Rec Dec, she could eat a horse she heard the humans say. She headed out of her quarters smiled at the Guards and went into the Lift and went to the Rec Dec.

  Stepping off of the lift and nodding to the guys on security duty, he headed to his quarters, removing his clothes and then showering and a change of clothes on, he sat fora a few minutes to collect his thoughts on the days actions and how he has things to do to his suit. Stretching his arm out and flexing it a bit, he replaces the sling and heads to the reck-deck for some food...

 Slick steps off the lift, heads to his room after a nod to the security personel, and takes a seat at his desk. With numbers going through his head for the suit for Meari, he takes his arm out of the sling, stretching and moving his shoulder and elbow just for comfort, he begins to work on the adjustments needed for her suit.....
 After 30-40 minutes, he looks at his notes, and saves the info to files, and heads to lay down for a bit, with an alarm set for only three hours, not much, but it'll work, was his thought as he faded off to doze.

His alarm woke him at the time he was about to naturally wake, his slumber not total because of the ache in his arm.

 He rolled to a sitting position, and rubbed both his face and his arm, replacing the sling and adjusting his arms position within it, he walked from his berthing room to head to the mech shop.

 Meari walked onto the Non-Com Deck, she nodded at the guards and headed for her quarters. Once in her quarters she got into combat armor and then got all her weapons ready. She made sure everything was perfect, she had her swords, Kukri, dual Udenese boot knives, the new One Eye knife,her throwing daggers, her two sidearms, her shotgun and her bow.

 Once she was satisfied everything was good to go, she then headed for the Hanger Deck and a date with the Empire.

 Meari walked onto the Non-Com Quarters, she nodded at the guards and said," Thank you guys, have you guys been to the after party, I can cover for you if you wish." Meari was serious as she stood there for the guards answer.

Jug and the other Gava had been at the party but after eating were completely wiped out.  They had brought a few snacks and only 2-3 or so were now still awake.  They were relaxing and watching Capt. Lightning vids and eating something called popcorn that was sprinkled with a bluish green powder.  The other gava including Jug laid down for sleep, weapons nearby incase of 'problems'.

   The two guards   just waved  off Meari. we were in the last shift, we're good, thanks  though.

for Gava.. the  Captain lighting was a  repeat, most likely to remind people a new Vid  was coming out, and  new   Action figures... other  then  that, there was nothing to exciting on the  Vids ( they did  show  vids from the attack)

 Meari nodded and said," No problem you are very welcome, thank you again." Meari headed for her quarters, once in she got out of her uniform and checked her wound to make sure she had not reopend it she did not want to feel Stefi's wrath.

 Once she cleaned and checked the wound she would carefully take a shower and relax. Once she was done she still didn't bend or lift to much, she finally got into bed and started to think of all that has happened in her short time on board.

 Meari awoke feeling much better, her wound was a little sore but nothing she couldn't handle. Meari checked her wound and then showered and cleaned her wound. Then she applied a bandage if it needed one and then began to get into her dress uniform for sendoff. She would still take it  easy and try not to lift to much. She did have her swords and kukri along with her side arm and all the weapons in her boots. No shotgun or bow though. Once everything  was all set she would head towards the Hanger dec and maybe talk to Slick about her armor.

 She left her quarters saw the guards, she smiled and said," Good morning thank you." She  just nodded and headed towards the lift.

The gava woke rather early and Jug decided it would be good to stretch, for all the gava to stretch.  In one area she had them jog in place and do something she read about humans called 'pilates' and a few other things.  get them all limbered and flexible, she did them as well.  She would not have them do what she herself would not do.  Then they would bathe and clean, put on thier best uniforms for the send off, but simpler tunics for them to have breakfast in what they called the mess.
Soon they would join others on hangar dec for the send off.

 After a long night he arrives to his bunk. Stripping off his clothes and taking a shower, he feels a bit refreshed. He sets an alarm for about 4 hours of sleep time and crawls into the bunk and falls fast asleep.



 After what seems like a MONTH, Slick crawls out of bed, gets dressed and heads out to the shop areas..... thinking..... 'work work work'

 Meari walked onto the dec with her stuff , she smiled at the guards and said, " Thank you I hope you got shore leave as well." Meari went to her quarters, got undressed put all her things away in their place, and then went into the shower. She stood in the shower and thought about the events the past few days, they saved a lot of kids from the dinner table, she met and fell in love with Skiffle, she hopes the Universe smiles on her and she has the best life possible, if any one hurts her they will wish they would have died quickly. Then she thought of Frakas, yes he was Sanri but that didnt matter, he was nice, still understanding humans like she was, and he was a gentleman and fun to be with.

 She finished her shower, dried off then got into bed, she set her alarm to have time to get ready for the tunnel run tomorrow at 10 am, she had a bad showing last time, she needed to have a great showing tomorrow. She would use her love for Skiffle to kick ass and be the best warrioor she can be so she can go see Skiffle soon, the only thing would Skiffle want to see her again after she gets a new home, that would be the thought Meari fell to sleep with.

 The Iron Guard  entered the NonCOm  section with Ellen and  Nagy leading them   down.

 Alright you  guys?.. I'm sure you've  done this before... set your pass words , SEC  can override them if   there is Just  Cause..... Your  LT  is  up with the Pilots... There is a Tunnel Run tomorrow...SEC is normally  'volunteer'..but you guys are  new so you'll have to show up  for the frist one.... Have a Good  Night..Tunnel run is  at 10:00

 the   Iron Guard  folks  stepped up to the  doors.. Ellen frowned  as she cleared   two  names  from the slots.....sorry?..  those  are dead guys.... you name  will pop up when you entere  your  ID...
