Snoozing twice, Marcus finally lets the alarm beat him and rolls out of bed. he quickly splashes some water in his face and goes to the hangar deck.

  arriving at his quarters, Slick stows the garbage and places the other items in a drawer for use later. He heads off to the shop to deliver an apology to the crew.

 Arriving at his quarters Slick cleans up and heads to sleep as soon as he could.

Flex posting here as I'm not going to spend days roleplaying what Garrat is wearing.

  In the thirty minutes Garrat gets what he can from the Quarter master and has it altered to be as good as possible at a civie section tailor.

   Garrat gives the tailor Shades dimensions and asks for a pair of baggy pants and a sleevless tunic.  While the tailor is doing the final work Garrat finds a grinder somewhere on the ship that he can use and grinds the base of the blade that had been shot into him into a standard knife handle barely narrow enough for Shade to grasp two handed. he folds a scrap piece of metal he finds somewhere into a temporary sheath then picks up the new cloths and heads for the boarding deck [or wherever] to meet up with the Shadow away team.

Waking up after having slept what seemed like ages, Riley gets out of bed, jumps in the shower and gets into a pair of clean fatigues. He cleans his colt peacemaker, grabs his toolbelt, and heads towards the Mech shop.

   After a very restful sleep, Slick wakes and dresses for work. Leaving his quarters he heads to the shop.

 She finds her quarters in Non Comm territory, seeing her name upon the door area. It is a bit like seeing her name up in lights, she thought to herself. She presses upon the lock and opens the door, entering the small room with it's various pull down furniture. She goes to her bed and sets down the duffle bag, then goes to lock her valuables in her desk. After she unpacks her gear and cleans up a bit, she takes her medical disk and her orders and heads out toward the Medical Lab so check in there.
 She exits and heads back toward the elevator.

Marcus returns to his quarters, smokes one more cigarette, then hits the showers. After washing off all the days grees he guoes to bed

 She entered the room locking the door behind her. She stretched and tried to ease a crick from her neck. Then she emptied her pockets and stripped her soiled clothes off, placing them in the cleaner receptacle. Then she grabbed her off duty caftan and headed back to the bathing room to clean up. Once she takes her shower and washes her hair, she dries off, brushes her teeth, then heads to bed. Turning off the light, she crawls into bed and falls to sleep.
 It wasn't more than an hour later when the nightmares started again. The smoke filled corridors, the alien smells, the sounds of battle, the cries and moans of allies and enemies alike as they took damage. The smells of blood and bodily fluids and burnt skin and feathers. The tumble of a body slamming into her and taking her down to the floor as another flash of energy hits her shoulder. The feel of hot blood on her hands as she tries to stop the bleeding of her companion making her hands sticky, smelling off copper. She struggled to stay alert but the darkness was taking her down, again.
 She woke suddenly crying out, reaching for him...

Hearing a cry down the hall Marcus jumps out of bed, and grabbing his antique colt he runs out the room in his boxers. Seeing an empty hallway he wonders were tjat came from

 she slammed her fist into the wall next to the bed trying to block the pain and anxiety caused by the nightmare and the memories. She sat on the side of her bed with her head hanging, breathing in gasps trying to her head straight. Would she never get over what had happened? Would she ever find out the truth? Was there even anything to find out? And yet there was that foggy image of allied uniform bending over him and blood running freely...

Hearing a slam against a wall Marcus follows it and knocks on the door of a new arrival...

  Hearing a knock she hurriedly wiped her face, stood and grabbed a pair of sweats to slip over her legs she calls out." Just a minute!"
 She walked to the door and opened the door, looked out at the man standing there. She grimaced slightly as she realized what a mess she must look with bed head and rumpled clothing.

 "Hello? What can I do for you? Is there an attack coming? No that would have set off alarms wouldn't it?"

"No alarm miss," Marcus said, suddenly realising he had to look ridiculous in just boxers and with a gun in his hand. "Heard a cry and a bang, thought I'd go check to see if everything was okay."

 "Oh! You heard that?" She hid her skinned knuckles behind her back and looked slightly embarrassed.

 "I am sorry to have disturbed you! It was just a nightmare. I didn't mean to disrupt your night! Please forgive me. Just some old memories sneaking up on me. Did I wake you?"


 She wondered if she'd cried out so loud, or the walls were that thin? Or maybe the stranger had exceptional hearing?

 "Oh, I am Karie Baker, but friends call me Cookie because I like to cook. I also work as a med tech."

"I heard that yes. Trained to hear things out of the ordinary. Marcus Riley, mechwarrior. A dieing art it seems." Marcus laughed. "Will you be okay miss? If not I could stand watch over you if you like. After I put something on that is."

"I should be fine now. I mean, if you heard and came to the rescue, I feel safer knowing someone will come running if I need help. I fear it is just battle stress. Someone I cared about deeply was killed, and I was shot. Things just got strange there for awhile. It still haunts me sometimes. Thank you for offering. I am sure you need your rest as well."

 She came closer to touch his shoulder and bent to kiss his cheek. She blushed slightly and backed up, smiling shyly.

"Thanks again Marcus. If I ever need a mech, I'll know who to ask for! Sweet Rest."

I'm just three doors down if you neede miss. Riley salutes, trying to hide his blushing and goes back to his room.

 She watches him leave with a small smile of appreciation. "Nice shorts!"

Cursing his luck at meeting a nice woman in just his underwear Riley drops on his bed. He takes a long while staring at the ceiling before falling asleep again.

 Somehow knowing that Marcus was just down the hall made it easier for her to close and lock her door and go back to bed. This time she slept deeply and awoke later fully tested in the morning. She got up and did some stretches and yoga then bathed and dressed. After a brief session of meditation she left her room and headed to Rec Dec.

Ickabab heard the cry from one of the other rooms, grabbing his blaster he moved to the door and opened it, tactfully glancing about for movement. Several doors down he spotted the Mec rider Riley heading to what he assumed to be the same spot. Staying in his room he assessed the situation then quietly closed the door. Returned to his bed and to get some more sleep.

After getting his toiletry obligations done, he dresses , grabing his  tool bag and weapons , he heads to the mech shop.
