 The General  walked over to  The Admiral,remember  Shadow..no weapons....

 1000s  under my copmmand have done  just that, Genral Higgins .. but of  people i know?.. Most of them  are here on the Field.. SGT GArrat?..SGT  Zob..THE..SGT MAJ... and I would be  god  creds, Shadow's  Son.... Now Shadow.. he Bested  the Verians warlord...  two Sanri.... twicE..,, And  two Vampics  while wearing his dress unifrom..That LArg Staring  at Your  Hyrian?... well.. that's  Corp Larry.. i'm sure he  could do it.

Roy stepped away from the crowd.  "Begging the General's pardon" he began in a tone that indicated he really could not care less if the General pardoned him.  "Sir, if you can't train your own whelp to keep his damned mouth shut until he understands the lay of the land he's on, I'm at a loss to understand how you managed to reach General at all, much less get a second star.  With all due respect, Sir."  While Roy was used to his position giving him 8mpunity to speak freely, the man was a Marine general...and even with his position in the Corps, Roy couldn't count on that to protect him from any fallout.

Of course, that was where protocol came in.  Begging pardon, whether sincere or not, and speaking 'with all due respect', whether the words reflected it or not, meant that, officially, Roy couldn't be accused of insubordination...which might only serve to piss off the General even more.

"I've got buck privates in my Security detail that have more sense than that.  And you've gotta be a special kind of stupid to start baiting the top ace of the war...even more stupid to assume that the man who survived, all alone, overnight on Nivar's Green Moon when it was still hostile territory would be a pushover in hand-to-hand.  And you've got to be some kind of colossal dumb-ass to take a cheap shot at him when he's not looking, and then agree to fight him when that first punch didn't even ring his bell.  Frankly, General, I hope like hell you train your men better than you trained your son, or else your whole command is a tactical liability.  Sir."

   "Wouldn't mind a shot at him myself."  Garrat laughed, Tell you what Sir, After seeing your son take an unprovoked swing at his commanding officer I have a pretty good Idea of your level of judgement as his father.  I'll wager 1000credits on Shadow, and I'll throw in another 500 if you can beat a Gava with a stun knife if we can find one who is interested in the challenge." 
    Garrat grinned evilly, winking at Jug

Jug smiled, teeth almost like that of a mako shark from Earth.  A couple others realized that Jug would be up for the challenge if he took it.  One even gave Jug a light fist to the shoulder.

 The General  tilts  at first to  Hack, then to Roy, a slight  smile  on his  face as he says, First thing is first, is it not.. We'll Allow   The LC, to ...grace us... with his  wonderful talents  when it comes to  Hand to HAnd  Combat..

    The Hyrian  snarled  at  Shadow,  Shadow's  eyes  darted  about like he was reading some  urgent message on a  COM Text.

 Yhe Hyrioan   Moves  swiftly..Lirg Stood    up like he wanted to warn Shadow,  But Shadow  charged in , much faster. The two Collided, Both  Flew  Back wards, Shadow   did a Backward  Roll and was  Up  on his  Feed,, The Hyrian  snarled   as  he  got up, slowly to His  Knees,..what form of Hand to HAnd it  that!

 ..Just  checking  Fido,, see where you hurt?..and..you know?... Fleas...

  The Hound  was  almost  to his  Feet  when  shadow used whatever  reserves of  speed he  Build  Up to  charge  , Jump in the  air and Spin... The  boot hit  SGT Sret on the Left side  of his slightly Protruding  Muzzle.. The Hyrian ,who was   not completely standing,   Was  thrown Back  to the left..near the Gathered  Officers and such... When  Shadow  LAnded  He Kicked the   Hound in the Ribs,  , then landed an over  head right to  the Top of Sret's  muzzle. When the  Hyrian hit the Ground, Shadow  Hammered   fist after  fist  into the sternum of the   Hound.....Sret was  Helpless.. Dazed. each pound of the fist, knocked whatever  air from the trooper's lungs


 . SHADOW!..., Captain  Si said  Sternly.. But   Shadow  Hammered away.

  Hack pointed at  those  around   him  to ''' remove Shadow  from  The Hyrian..but  made no effort himself to stop the pounding.

Zob noticed the Admiral ask to remove Shadow from the Hyrian he got up and moved quickly over to Shadow and pulled him off then put himself between him and the Hyrian, "Shadow stop... that is enough you won!" he didn't wanna have to tangle with Shadow even he knew that was a losing match, but he couldn't have him kill the Hyrian no matter what he thought of him.

    General  Higgins  looked shocked  at  the  turn of  events. He  couldn't utter a word  as  He saw HAck  motions of  others    to stop the savage  beating

   Higgins , the  Pilot stood there   nursing his  Own  Ribs  and Looked at the Other  two Pilots.  KR-EN took a few steps back from the Rest.. horror  on her Angel-face.

 Motts looked  as if he was  in total Shock.

 As   Zob and perhaps  others  moved to restrain the LC. Hack looked  at  the  beaten  Hyrian, flood  was comign from the   Trooper's  Mouth,  as he curled into a semi-ball. grasping the impact  areas  of the  Punches.

 Med Techs were on the way..

 ..I think you  understand, now..General  Higgins. Why  i have very little  trouble from those  who would be insubordinate.....Shadow  is Just one of  my people, who keeps  others in line... though, i must confess, he   enjoys the task more then others...

Jug stood and removed her blades and a few other 'weapons' and laid them where she was sitting.  Then moved to where Shadow and the others were.  "Good fight.  I watch learn" she fussed a bit over him like she would one of her squad.  Then looked up at Garrat and in a low tone "Still want me to fight?"

Zob glanced down at the Hyrian all curled up in a ball in pain and shook his head, "Not much of a fight, that was a slaughter..." he then stood off to the side of him as he waited for Hack to dismiss everybody.

   Once Shadow is back he turns to the Hyrian, supporting him into a sitting position.  “Easy brother, pilot warriors are lightning fast and our size is hard to put in motion.  You fought honorably, though your cause was less than just.  That burden does not lie on your shoulders.”

 General  OsGood Higgins  looked  at the sight of his  Hyrian  gettign tended too, as the Hyrian   wailed a Bit,   as the MNed tech  pryied his  paws  from the Damaged Ribs, so  they could  scan them

 His  son was already walking up the steps  with the single Med Tech. him leaving on her shoudler.

   Shadow was just starting to relax in Zob's  grip...yeah... well... people  kept interupting me..

  The General looked to  the  Gava,..I do not  fight  any longer.. if the time   coems that i might, i'll do it with a pulse rifle.. Don't you agreed, Oliver...

 Hack  smiled sheepishly.

 Captain Si said with a voice  somewhere between  pride  and admonishment.Oliver  and  Bryce, seem to  take great pleasure  in  being on the  ground , or meeting the boarders  in teh Hanger BAy.

... being on the  Ground  at the  CP is the best way to undertand  what is going on, while beth sends  the Feeds  to us..... meeting Boarders..well , This is My Flag Ship..that should be reason enought  for me to meet them

Jug looked at Garrat, but said nothing.  In her mind she did want to ak if that pulse rifle would be aimed at Gava or not.  If it was the human was gonna have a very bad day.
The other Gava looked a bit disappointed Jug did not get to fight, but Jug just gave a hand motion to calm them.

   Garrat Sighs, “Sorry Jug.  It looks like he is not worthy of you.  We’ll find you a sparring partner yet.”

   “Common hell hound, let them heal you.  Later We’ll see what we can do to help ya last a little longer next time.”

When the med techs would take both the Hyrian and the generals son away he would release his grip on Shadow hoping he wasn't gonna just shoot off and finish the job but given that he was relaxing it seemed like a chance worth taking, "Unless im needed for something else, i think ill take my leave if that is alright"

 The Blades  are  set... a slash will, hurt..but you can continue  on... a stab will put you down.. You're  down..off the field... the  first team's flag to fall, losses, no matte r how  many  team members  are stil standing.....  Teh General's team   line up on the Herme's  40... Herms line up on your 30... when you heat  the Buzzer go off, the game  starts..... IF... anyone gets  carried away..  Troopers  Ellen and Scarlett  will shot you in the leg....sometimes they aim high...

Zob simply shook his head he didn't wanna get involved with this little game he was getting tired anyways not having any real rest since Bura especially with Melia paying him visits, but he needed to make a stop down to the foundry to get something made before he would retire for the night.

With her vibro dagger in hand she walked to the field.  Near where Roll was "You brave young one.  Remember the thing has two ends, cant hit them with the blade part, hit them with the other.  One way or another, they get hurt." she patted him on his shoulder.  she then whispered "Noone said you cannot kick or bite them either" she then moved to the field proper.

 Shadow  went  to the filed  and  stood with his back to the   'general's  forces".., Now.. those  blades  stay on until  Post  cuts the power feed..... it you  stab  some one.. and  the blade  stays in and hurts like the nine hells..just saying...

Roy stepped out, taking one of the blades.  "Anyone who wants to stab you has to get through me, Roll," he said, with a comforting grin, before turning and looking at the General's men with a gaze that could melt hull plating.

"Hope you all weren't planning on seeing combat anytime soon.  You're not going to be in any condition to fight for a few days."

Looking around and seeing the numbers uneven, he gave a thoroughly unpleasant grin.  "Since you brought your hand-picked best..."  He raised his comm unit.  "Sergeant Lirg, Lieutenant Hirr, please report to the Field for a combat exercise..."

He looked back, stepping next to Shadow, facing away from the General and his personnel.  "Personally, I say we take out his entire team and all stick him simultaneously..."

  I like the plan.  I also like the idea of “accidentally” crippling the other players and leaving them in the game unstuck.

 Shadow  walked  to the sideliens. He was  putting on his tunic,  Lilit and Dusk were now   on the field as well, but closer to the bleachers .

 Shadow nodded  grimly,it will hurt him, like nothing he ever knew? And those  6 trooper there?.. I've seen  people like that before... Self Important... drunk on thier own position..they will hurt him, to hurt me... The Admiral  and the Hermes..and they'll laugh..

 Hirr had her  Blade   and stood there  with her tail twitching.

  Gen Higgins  shouts  out some orders, the    trooper  split up.. two the   the  side of the  left Hash MArk... two in the middle of the field , and  2  past the right Hash Mark...

  they start moving   forward  spreading out a bit, to cover each other and make thier way towards   Roll

 Jax  yells,Move around   Roll  don't  let them   have a good idea.. like  running from building to building.

 Roll moved  from the Middle to the right a  bit.. holding his  blade..little   legs moving, then he would stop  and mover to his right...  and  stop.. watching the   Trooper s  with wide   eyes.

She looked at Garrat "Ever throw ...what was it they called it?  Oh a dwarf?  Gots no problem bein' thrown" she grinned almost evilly.
