Melia nods slightly to Roy, the slightest barely perceptible flicker of confusion ripples across her face as the detached mask, yes SGT MAJ, when should I meet you there? she asks quietly as she tries to connect the recent events with the request her mind jumping through hoops and through different scenarios.

"Right now would be convenient," Roy replied.  His manner was calm...but mildly concerned.  Not enough to be apparent to observers...but it was in his eyes and his voice.

Zob watched as people dispersed and med techs took the wounded away he nodded his head as Roy thanked him he was dissapointed they didint put up any real challenge he decided to just head on back to his quarters for a while.

Melia nodded, "yes, SGT MAJ." she said, reading the concern only driving her own uncertainty higher as she tried to replay the last events in her head trying to preemptively determine why Roy was concerned. She'd not caused serious harm, though she'd been the only one who pulled a weapon.... the possibilities seemed endless, and she doubted that it was her causing less harm to the SGT than the others... what could it be. She heads immediately for Roy's office, now struggling with confusion in the mix.

Roy took a moment to retrieve his dress jacket and cover, folding the jacket carefully over his arm to make sure he wasn't getting blood-stains on it.  As he tucked his cover under the same arm, he looked at Lizzy.  "We do, as a matter of fact.  It's a mix of standard Marine hand-to-hand, krav maga, muy thai kickboxing, and a few choice elements of a few other techniques that get added on as we encounter new styles of combat.  Not formal in any way, and pretty much focused entirely on results, rather than mastering forms or learning kata or any of that stuff.  If you're still up and your opponent is down, you did it right."  He grinned tightly, thinking of the scuffle that had just happened...it should have been a fight, but it was over too fast for that, in his mind.  No doubt, once he was coherent again, the lieutenant would accuse him of cheating...but that was his preferred method to fight...hit hard and fast and put your opponent out of the fight before he got a chance to rally his wits.

"We're not doing anything with it until after we leave Bura...might have some new elements to throw in the mix, depending on what our new commandos know."  He shrugged slightly.

"If you'll excuse me, I'm supposed to be meeting someone in my office shortly..."

 Lizzy smiled and said, " Thank you Sergeant Major and yes I am very interested, I have the basics, I will drop by SEC after we leave Bura then." Lizzy will smile and let Roy head to his appointment. She would smile and nod as he left.

 Lizzy will then see everyone break apart and head out. She wanted to Melia before she left but she headed to SEC right after talking with SM. She will have to talk to her later.

 Lizzy saw Harry and Will and decided to let them have their time, she had a lot of fun with Harry. Lizzy wasn't sure she wanted more than that, but now just friends and she is absolutely fine with that.

 Lizzy decided to head and check on her fighter she was going to do that earlier then the fight broke out. She will head for the lift and head to the Hanger Dec.

Harry supposed it was a little early for them to be disappearing into her quarters and to be fair it hadn't been that long ago she'd been with Lizzy, though come to think of it there was a third option..."Ok how's this for a compromise...why don't the two of us head up to the obs dec? That way I get to give my brave soldier boy a cuddle whilst we have a drink" she quietly suggested as those involved in the brawl went their separate ways "...and then we can decide where to go from there"

    Will smiled  a bit, Yeah?  that's  good  I have a few mor ehour s  before  duty ... we can do that...

   Then  he  would   wisker  away her  legs  and  carry her  up the stadium  Steps before    putting he r down  at the top.. some wincing   involved from the    pressure on his ribs.

There was a surprised squeak followed by much giggling as Harry found her feet being whisked out from underneath her and she was carried up the stairs before being planted back onto the deck once they'd reached the top. Seeing the pain grimace on his face, Harry would offer a concerned frown as she quietly asked "are you sure you don't need to visit med tech? I don't mind putting this off so you can get those ribs looked at" with her much rathering that Will was in once piece even if it meant missing a little quality time with him.

    he    motioned to the   Lift  as he waited   for her to decide.

With Will promising to get himself checked out if his ribs still hurt in the morning Harry would nod her head in agreement, with the look her eye promising Will that she would hold him to that bargain, before taking his hand and heading for the observation dec.

  Chief  Lindel Post, in charge of the  field  and  HeadCoach of the football team  stood there  with  The  The  Marine SGT  and Captain Maris.

  MAris    wanted  a live  band  on the   'civic side' 50 yard line   and the 'dance  area ' from one  30 yard line  to the other... Tables were being  sent up in lines    from the  30's to the endzones.. and   , of course  seating in the stands.

 ...  don't know hwere the creds  are coming from CAptain... But  The Admiral will make sure    we get the creds... 10%  will go to the  Football team.. the othe r 90 will go to   the food   drink and the waitress  and waitresses

 ..Don't worry chief ..   The creds  will be  paid  before  we leave...

  begging your  pardon, Sir, they'll be paid before the vendors start  cooking..... they ahve to lay in supplies   to cover the excess, so they can  still serve people  on the rec dec.

 Lizzy wearing her duty uniform walks out of the lifts and heads for the Field. She sees it being set up already when she gets there. Lizzy will walk over to her father Captain Maris and the Chief. She heard the talk about creds and she thought he better pay up, he wants this it will cost him.

 Lizzy smiles at her Father,and Chief Lindel Post, she will salute her Father and say," Good morning Sir, how are things going, anything I can do to help, also some of my friends have children I would like a children's area with games, fun and people trained to watch them so the parents and guardians can have fun, is the possible Sir, Chief?"

    Chief Post Looked around and   said... We can  cut out the  Stern Endzone,  that would give the   gives  that  whole area  to the wall, and  keep them away from the exercise machines... It shouldn't hurt seating that much... folks have al the  stands   to sit in.

 Captain Maris   nods,..Let's do that Chief.... I wabt  the people here  to remember  my Daughter's Parfty..

 Lizzy smiled and said ," Thank you Dad, that was important to me. So what can I do to help? By the way thank you for the party."

   There was a smile on Jack's   face, he put his arm around her.well..gotta   make usre  your friends remember you, right?

  Chief  Post looked  awkward as he says,, Begging your pardon , Captain?..She'll need   a Captain or Higher  to release her..or the LC..since he's WC?.... we're gonna be  mixing things   up in a  week or so......If anyhting, we're  brining people in..not sending any out.

 Captain MAris   gave   Chief  Post a stern Look,..I suggest.... Chief?  You stick  to your own area of expertice?...

 Chief Nodded and Saluted, he   also have a  head bow to  Lizzy and said 'Ma'am", and  went to   get the changes  made.

 Lizzy smiled and it felt good to have him here and it felt like old times when he put his arm around her. " Yes but my friends remember because I am who I am, but this will be a nice relaxation for everyone and have some fun before we hit Bura."

 Things where good until he had to say it already. damn Dad I am not going to Fuji. The Chief spoke up and he was right, Lizzy said as she moved away from her Dad his arm not around her anymore," Dad please lets just have a good time, and celebrate my birthday. I don't want to argue you know how I feel about that, and Dad the Chief was just stating facts."

 Lizzy would bow her head back to the Chief and smile and say," Thank you Chief."
 Lizzy just wanted to have a good time and enjoy her party and her friends but she knew her Father had something planned but she didn't know what it was.

 Lizzy just wanted to get in the mood for fun, she will say," I am going to start putting up and setting up the decorations, lets have a good time we will talk about that after okay Sir. Also do we have food here yet I might go get a bite after I set up some decorations okay."

Wombat had a sour look on his face  as he waved in the direction of   Chief Post,..We have the Underlings to take care of that?.. I imgaine the  food  won't start comign down for a few  hours  yet.. i do see  some of the Help setting up  drinks  and Coolers.

 Lizzy will stop in her tracks and say," Sir underlings, excuse me!!! These are members of the Hermes, some are my friends or could be, you have let being a Captain go to your head SIR!!
Excuse me I am going to get breakfast and then come back please be more respectful Captain SIR!!"

 Lizzy will salute her Father and storm off towards the Rec Dec not even listening if he says anything to her as she leaves. He has let being a Captain and being at Fuji go to his head, he didn't teach her to treat others like this, damn she thought he has gotten full of himself and Lizzy was going to try to teach her Dad the Captain to respect everyone because everyone is important then Lizzy remembered Tessa Croft she was a teenage civie and she helped and saved many lives, her father calling others underlings just really pissed her off and her Dad would notice it big time.

Zob had noticed the big set up going on at the field as Chief Post was going by he hailed him, "So what's with the fancy set up?" He didint give a shit if the captain was watching or not Zob did his own thing.

Post pointed to the  Captain,..That Guys  daughter... fighter Pilto...its her Birthday.... Admiral's making him pay through the nose  too..renting the  field.  paying the  Rec Dec   folks...

 MAris  seemed to  be  taking nots on his COM as he watched the Set  up..sometimes frowning here.. or  waving  a hand there..

Roy stood off to one sideline, watching without getting involved.  He knew Chief Post was more than capable of dealing with someone getting too pushy...he was just there for moral support...and to guarantee that Post had a witness in case the Captain decided things needed to go a less pleasant route.

  Captain Maris    moved    around the Bleachers,..You there!.. thoseTables  are  all wrong!...

 Chief  Post Looked up,..The Tables  are perfect...SIR!

 Maris glared  at  Post, They need to  be  sideways!...

Zob who was watching the shit show couldn't help but laugh at Maris's stupidity as the Chief told him off, "What a complete joke!" he had a soda with him that he cracked open and began to drink as he watched Maris complain like a toddler that got his lollypop taken away.

Zob continued to watch with curiosity to see how far Maris could get himself into trouble.

    Joseph was volunteering help with the sound set up chuckles.   “I know you want your hands in things Captain Maris, but even the lowest member of the Hermès crew as crack at their job.  It has to do with their sense of value.  If you let them have their own lead they will do an excellent job, no matter how strange it looks now.  Take away their value by questioning their work and they won’t want to do a lesser job.”  Joseph motions at the workers.  “Tell then your just trying to make it perfect for yer little girl and ask them honestly for their best and you will probably have it.  They have been doing this kin ov thing for a very long time.”
