Smithson Blew  a whistle   to announce  Something.. a few kid familys  who were sued to it.. came out.

 Smithson  hand  a pair of crates ,  and   they called the children over.....The  fellow Zob?..  has  sent these up from  Fuji..one outfit  per  kid...

 with Orria  and Haley missing  thier  outfits  were  set  , just outside their Doors..(  a runner  took HAley's  down to   Nikki's quarters...  Foster  had to have  his  set out as well, since his  wife and kids were on the Beach  and he was on Woth

  People aske d  what the Occasion was, Smithson  just shrugged,..Don't know?.. Maybe  some kinda  holiday for him...

 the one  woman  said, we will have to thank him when we see him... it is a nice suprise...

 Roll heard the Whistle and   Told   Viktor , that  that was  the ..'come out to the street' whistle.

Mortica and a sleeping pup headed out to get supper for the young family. Three large pizzas (one meat, one pepperoni, one supreme), two large steaks and one larg pup sized, drinks for all present, and a chocolate shake with ice cream for Roll.

Once encumbered by food, pup, and drinks, she walked back home with a smile on her face.

    FUJI beach=====>.  As Sneak is at the beach with the RecDec girls Garrat offers Teela the use of the bath tub in his apartment to soak in and his bed is queen sized and made so she can catch up on sleep there while spreading her wings a little while he takes care of things elsewhere.  [edited]  When she accepts, they stop by her place for supplies and clothing before continuing to his apartment.  The bath/shower was one of the nicer parts of the apartment.  Garrat suspicioned it was made to comfortably fit two people but with his sized it was a necessity.  Judging by how quickly Teela drew a bath, and immersed herself in the frothy bubbles Garrat suspicioned this was just what the angel ordered.

    Much as he wanted to stay for the show, Garrat wasn't sure Teela would want an audience this early In their relationship.  He gives her a kiss, and leaves the apartment unaware of the suds Teela had playfully left in his beard.

    Garrat took care of the paper work and loaded the Angel Multi Tracks onto the Immigrants Song.  After docking at the LG01 he picked up a bathrobe for Teela to be comfortable in and had it altered for her wings. to be able to stretch then retract completely beneath the fabric of the back.

Teela is more than happy to accept the offer and is soon happily ensconced in the rather large tub, soaking in hot water when Garrat leaves and quite asleep, wings spread somewhat across his bed, when he returns.

   Not having showered himself since the night on the beach, Garrat showers.  The water feels good and he forgets himself for a bit.  Still getting used to the apartment he makes his way  into his bed room he closes the door turns and comes to a complete stop.  The bay windows on the outside wall were the perfect place to set up his computer and the other wall was dominated by a large dresser.   The bed in the center was dominated by a beautiful angel, still half buried in the covers.

    He walked over to the dresser and lit some candles under a beaten breast plate with the symbol of the wings wrapped around the sword and a series of symbols next to it.  The warm cent of vanilla filled the air and Garrattook a moment to read the names of fallen comrades from the list there...Irina, Ajax, Xyran, and many others.  Garrat pulled on a pair of pants, though he had become close with Teela he was still concientious about some of the scarring  on his legs.

    Garrat turned and climbed gently onto the bed next to Teela, careful not to put weight on her wings.

    Part of Garrat was tired and wanted only sleep, part was aroused by the beautiful creature next to him and wanted to be intimate with her, but he didn't want to wake her or miss a moment of being with her even if she were asleep.  And so the old soldier lay awake watching his angel.  HIs mind wanders to the lyrics of a song he heard played around the ship ...
   "Every night of my life I watch angels fall from the sky.  Every morning the sun still rise, I pray they don't take Mine."

   Garrat takes her unconciously out stretched hand and lays his head down on his pillow, drowsy eyes still watching her in a lassitude boardering on sleep.

Teela smiled a made a small sound of happiness before scooting in closer and lifting her wing. When she was comfortably ensconced against Garrat she lowered her wing so it covered them both like a soft blanket. Soon her breathing had returned to the even, regular rhythm of sleep.

   Garrat smiles.one arm wraps around her back and holds her close, the other carress' down her back and across whe smooth skin of her bottocks to hook under her thigh and pull her leg across himself bringing her closer across him.  With her head on his chest, her scent fills him.  He listens to her breathing become steady, feels the warmth of its passing across his chest...and knows he is where he belongs.

   Being intertwined with her made hime feel complete, In the arms of an angel, he could sleep....

    Garrat is awakened later as Teela stirs drifting towards the surface.  Her warm body stretching  against his feels comforting.  His hands trace down her back as he stretches himself  and kisses her gently on the lips.  “Good morning beautiful you hungry?”  At her assent “ I picked up some good Burean produce, I’ll fix something.”

    He manages to extract himself from the pile of angel.  “Stay right here and I’ll bring the food to you.”

    In the kitchen he cooks up some green forest ham and scrambled eggs and toasts up some pesto flat breads.  With a little spinach and tomatoes over  a savory cream sauce, he folds the eggs and ham into the flatbreads , wraps them in parchment and brings them into the bedroom on a tray . “It may not be the prettiest thing but I can always blindfold you to enhance the experience.”

    Garrat helps her sit up in bed, while  his arm is around her waist he can't help but to take a moment to nibble up her neck a bit.  His mouth finds her and he kisses her deeply.  Reluctantly he draws back, "Sorry, I shouldn't take a bite of dessert before we have the main meal."

    He offers her a wrap.  "Do you like green eggs and ham?"


   It is obvious he has never read the book.

Teela's eyes close as he kisses up her neck, her back arching and one hand coming up to bury itself in his hair. "If I wasn't so hungry I'd say let's skip right to dessert but we both need our energy after last night and this morning."

She took the wrap and bit into it. "Oh my, that is good. All this and you can cook? I'm a lucky woman."

    Garrat chuckles mid bite dribbling a little sauce on his chest.  "You should try my sand rat and serpent skewers.  You learn to make due with everything you can lay your hands on in the field.  That and raising close to a dozen children over half a dozen centuries gives a guy some experience."

    He looks down at his food "I'll have you know it was all I could do to let you sleep peacefully though."  He takes a bite and chews thoughtfully before continuing, "I don't know what it is you do to me Teela but I feel like you have awakened something that has been sleeping in me and it needs to fill up with your presence."  He runs a finger down her cheek, "So I can carry you with me."  His hand trails down her neck and down the side of her breast before trailing off. "What are we going to do Teela?  You kinda need your own space, but I  just can't see you go back to your own room."

"I'll try anything you cook, my warrior-poet," she said with a wicked grin before leaning forward and licking the sauce off his chest.

She listened to him speak, her eyes closed as she savoured the sound of his voice and the feel of his hand on her body. "I know how you feel because I feel it as well. I'm still very young for an Angel but it feels I've waited a lifetime to find you. Why don't we take time before deciding what to do. I need my quarters for now but that doesn't mean I have to stay there all the time. I've been quite happy falling asleep and waking up beside you last night and today"

She reached out and rested her hand on his cheek. "I want to continue doing that, Garrat."

    Garrat finishes his wrap but doesn't reach for another.  "I know what you mean."  He leans forward placing his weight on his hands and brings his legs up under himself.  "That is a good strategy."  His shoulders pressed back causing his back muscles to ripple like those of a cat he learns down and licks a drop of sauce off her leg.

    "Still if you are to join me here regularly, I should make some space here for you to keep your clothing if you wish."

    Garrat finds another droplet on her leg and cleans it up too...much more thoroughly this time.  Aparently the wraps are quite sloppy and the parchment works only to hold them.

    "I welcome you as part of my life."  He says finding a saucy spot on her inner thigh and nibbling it off then he raises his head  and kisses her gently on her lips "and will enjoy my duties as your man."  He nibbles some sauce off her chest and proceeds to work his way down making sure none of it is left on her.

    The make a few more messes and find creative ways to clean them up but in the end he lays in the middle of the bed with her.  His legs trailing off the edge of the bed and his head on her belly. "I don't think I can put to words how incredible you are."  He lifts his head and looks up at her, "But I do live here with an adopted daughter and as much as I enjoy seeing you naked she probably won't find it as enjoyable, so I bought you something."

Teela sat her wrap aside as it looked like there were going to be other activities going on plus she really wanted her hands free to run them along the corded muscle on Garrat's back.

Speech eluded her for some time and it was only until she had caught her breath and roused from the very comfortable lassitude that had settled over her body that she tried. Her hands were buried in Garrat's hair and roaming across his back as he lay with his head on her belly. "Tha sinn nas làidire còmhla, mo ghaisgeach bàrd. Tha mi fìor bheannaichte gun do thuit thu thairis air reultan agus a-steach do mo bheatha," she said in a soft voice. "You bought me something? What did you buy me?"

  After translating, Garrat laughed as he pulled his pants back on.  "B ’urrainn dhomh argamaid a dhèanamh gur mise an neach a bha beannaichte le sin."  He picked up a box and opened it towards himself.  He looked up at her, "I could tell you but I want you to feel it first."   He pulls out a long black piece of silk and gives her an evil grin "Do you trust me?"  he asks holding up the blindfold.

Teela grinned and cocked a brow. "You know I do. Go ahead and put it on since that's far more fun than me tying it on myself."

  "You see there is a problem with that" Garrat says as he comes around to her side of the bed, He kisses her as he ties it on, then whispers in her ear, "I keep getting distracted when I get this close to you."  he backs up "What was I doing? Oh right. Here we go."  She hears the rustle of tissue paper "You need to stand up so I can slip this on you."

"You're not the only one that gets distracted," Teela said as he tied the blindfold on. Once she couldn't see she stood and let the sheet slip slowly down and off.

   When the sheet slid off she heard all of his movements stop for a moment. Then he took a  deep breath and exhale slowly. Did she hear a tremor ? She felt something soft and silky slide onto her arms and then her back. It was wrapped around her. Garrat removed the blindfold and used it as a belt to fasten the black silken robe in place...Getting a little distracted along the way.  He kissed her and step back to look at it.

"It certainly feels wonderful against my body. May I open my eyes and see what it is and how I look?" Teela asked after returning Garrat's kiss.

   Garrat had trouble speaking as the silk hugged her curves down to mid thight showing off her legs.  It was a lot shorter than he expected having been used to working with Dwarven women in the past and never shopping for the tall elegant angel body, "Y...yes"  He managed to squeak out. "It , um accents your best features quite well."

   Above her heart in the front was a rose embroidered in golden thread.  The rest was sheer black angel silk that whispered and moved with her.  On her back however, two large roses, one over either shoulder blade, extended their outer petals into folded wings with the leading edge curved inward down her back almost touching at the buttocks before sweeping outward in a curl where theymeet the leg.

   "Oh Odin," he groaned to himself, "What have I begun."

   Loud enough for her to hear “Much as I would love to do nothing but rest with you and cook you meals till we need to go into battle, we should probably get out and about so people know we are still alive.”

Melia and Orria returned home and Melia began the tasks of unpacking and scrubbing. Orria was directded to unpack her belongings and get her clothes in the wash, which resulted in a naked child running around the house for a few moments until Melia managed to wrangle her daughter into the shower.  This of course riled up Cookie the Lonnox which took off around the house with a case of the zoomies. She shakes her head as Orria giggles in the shower obviously up to no good.

Once all their belongings are stowed away, Melia helps Orria towel off and get dressed to visit the hanger deck for the pilot selection pinning Orria's little badge on. After giving firm instructions to not cause a mess Melia hops in the shower and cleans up herself quickly donning her Marine daily duty uniform with navy insignia, favoring it over the medtech scrubs.

Strapping her knife and sidearm to her belt, tucking the verian pistol in a calf holster and the throwing knives on the other calf she's ready. She takes the Lonnox out to do its business while Orria finishes getting ready with her sidearm and knife.

"Oh...oh my. This is lovely, Garrat. Truly lovely. Thank you," she said before cupping his cheeks with both hands and pulling him in for a kiss. "Speaking of going out and about I had better return to my quarters to prepare for the send off. After that I'm going to have to spend time getting to know the new fighters and running SIMS, maybe get time in on CAP. Shall we meet for supper this evening once our tours have ended?"

   Garrat smiles, and kisses her back, his hand going around her waist.  "I wouldn't miss it for the world my love."

   "By the way, it's a cast off, not a send off.  That's happening around 8:00 which would be dinnertime.  I'll meet you on the observation deck?"

   Garrat finishes making plans with Teela and and goes for a workout with his boken.  Then he swings by the rec for a drink.

"I'll see you there, mo ghaol." Teela said, kissing Garrat before he headed out. She slipped out of the robe and into her bathing suit and black dress. She smiled as she smoothed the robe out before hanging it in the closet. Once she was dressed she grabbed her bag and went to her quarters to shower and change into her uniform.
