Justin tossed back his juice then placed the empty goblet on the desk. Turning he tapped away at his keyboard for a short time occasionally glancing up at the screen to watch the feed from the Hanger Deck. After twelve minutes he then switched it off.

Re: Officer's  Quarters

Just after the tribunal had finished his order arrived. This was a surprise as he assumed it would take at least 72 hours. The Orderly mentioned this one was in the hold and awaiting return to the Distributor; its previous owner never signed fot it. Delighted by the arrival Justin set about assembling and positioning the equipment.

Thanking the Steward he carried the tray to his desk sat at it and watched a historical document as he wolfed down the meal.

Re: Officer's  Quarters

Roused from his meditative sleep Justin stood and streched. Glancing sround the cabin he considered what to do, and settled on admin. After an hour a com popped up from Shadow informing the Squadron of the arrival of a Prototype Fighter and Replacement Fighter. Accessing the internal feed of Cameras within the Hangar Deck Justin managed to get a partial view of the Fighter. Deciding to take a closer look he quickly showered slipped on a flight suit and head to the Hangar Deck to check out the Kite.

..Alright..... lets go..i have   some stuff to do...

she   tapped the panel  and the  door opened  only a few doors   down from Shadow's 'dead end' quarters. The  Guards  at that end   just looked at each other.

when they were in side,  he  helped her to the Couch..  handed her the Vid  remote , she asked  for a soda, and told Him the grab one for himself.

She was  looking through Vids,..Shadow?.. why didn't you like us  at the academy?

Shadow  almost choked on the soda,Really?  really?.. first.. lets  get this  settled... you guys.. aren't the same Brain wipes that you were  there....

 ..what..I...

..SHHHH!... Frans' father was  a joke, throwing momney around left and right..peoiple like me and roles...  fighting tooth  and nail against  you guys and everyone  esle... just about

She waved a Hand,..what about  Beth  and Lyri?

..what  about them?.. betyhs  Folks  sent her there because  she had a chance to use her  talents.. no one ever thought those talents meant  leaving Earth behind.... and Lyri?  Her Mom had Money..her  dad was a drunk...So she saw more of what it was like to be ...'frowned on'...

..yeah...  well..I think it was  Just  jealousy  on your part...

..you'er  right?.... Roles and I..should have been in priosn, instead we got a right  to the academy... that ride was on the Admiral's Back...  and.. we were ..JUST..smart enough to realize that...

she shook her head,so?.. you hate all rich folks?

nope... just the  jerks..heck..look at whe we launched...  You ,frans, Mara.. complaining about everything I Did... put  Hannah in some bad spots..until you started to wise up..

She looked  down,..you hear from her?

..nah... and I'm too afraid to ask.... the  extras some of us do..well...

..yeah.... I know.. i mean.. i don't  REALLY  know... but some weird  stuff happens when you disappear the she thinks,.. why do you get in the face of some of those big wheels all the time?.... One day.. that stuff  could end you?

He  Finished  his    Soda and  took the bottle to the   recycle  container. He   Came Back  and gave her  a wink...'casue.. i hate rich guys....

Giving her a small hug, he left,..get rest....never know when the lights come on

 she  nodded....with a small smile.

.......

out in the hall  he   walked..  down to his  quarters  and Looked   at the  two sets of guards  at either end... He waved to them, and entered his quarters...  and they laughed( after he door was closed. )

Justin made his way back to his cabin slipped inside and flopped into the WS chair. Tapping away on the keypad he spent two hours completing sop doc's. Once finished he worked out for another four. Ordered a meal from the OC's and took a shower while waiting for it to be delivered.

Re: Officer's  Quarters

Getting directions from Katrina to the top deck Zarina hefted her kit bag over her shoulder, which she toated along the passageway looked for her room. Finding her room she grinned at the sign En Striker on the wall beside the doorway. Entering she assessed the rooms interrior, dropping her kit in the bed as she did. Pleased at the layout. She decided to register with the work station before heading out to report to the Duty Officer. When the intro came up she found her details were already in the Database and the induction & greeting screens included maps of the decks Who's, who; what to do; where to go along with a thousand and one helps.  One of the first informing her that Captain Morris was the Dec Officer incharge of assigning incomming Crew until they were squared away and had been assigned to a unit. Grateful for this Zarina didn't have to report to the OoD so she could head strait to the Farm.

Sending Cookie a E-chat telling her that she was on her way.

Bother! exclaimed Justin he'd hoped that it was Hermes time so he could wtangle a shift or two. Fliching off the EsnVid he went for a walk to strech his legs. Strolling past the Admirals quarters as he made his way to the Mess Justin paused at the intersection glanced towards the Bridge giving a friendly wave to the Marines on Guard, before moving on.

from Morris's shed

Slumping into his chair Justin eased his injured leg onto a cushion, allowing the tension in it to ease. Enjoying a cup of Hot Cocoa he'd picked up when he left the Triage area. After a few minutes he flicked on the desktop and tapped away at the mission report which would be required on their Hit. After an hour it was finished revised and dispatched to the Bridge.

Re: Officer's  Quarters

---> Morris' Shed

Flex Time

True to his word, Harry would find her name lit up above the door of her quarters just like Captain Morris had said it would be. After quickly setting the password she would enter the small yet comfortable quarters and quickly start unpacking her meagre belongings; shoving her clothes, most of which were military issue, into the drawers before removing a pair of small boxes from out of her now empty kit bag. The first box was a standard military lock box containing her service weapon, the second however was a cheap jewellery box that had obviously been picked up from a spaceport at some point in its life. Its thin wood effect veneer was cracked and discoloured, and the latch was held in place by two strips of black electrical tape.

Sitting on the edge of the bed she would open the box to look at the collection of photos, cuttings and ticket stubs that it contained along with an assortment of other bits and pieces she'd collected over the years. It was from in amongst all of this that Harry would produce a pewter ring in the shape of a skull with the look on her face saying that she had kept for purely sentimental reasons, though by the way she hurriedly dropped it back into the box and closed the lid, the object wasn't linked to the happiest of memories.

With her belongings now neatly put away Harry would leave her quarters in the hope of discovering the location of the simulators.

She  smiled at Harry  and  Justin saying,..its  alot  nice  since they  have those light up Name boxes.... easy to change too!.... before they used  to have index cards with  the names on...sometimes they would forget to take  them off  when they Bagged up the last occupant's things..

 The SEC trooper  elbowed her,

 oh!.. i mean.. you know.. I bet You'll be around  a while..Um...

The trooper   moved her along saying,..Sorry , Ma'am...

"Well that is the plan" Harry replied with a chuckle as she passed the Civie and her escort on her way to the Simulators, quietly wondering to herself what the mortality rate for front line pilots was I hope it's more than twenty minutes...

Flex Time

Upon entering her quarters Harry would make a bee line for the small kitchenette which had been thoughtfully stocked with a few basic items. Too tired to cook, a mug of cocoa and a round of tuna sandwiches would make up her evening meal which she ate whilst flicking through the channels on the vid screen before finally giving in to her desire for sleep.

Stripping out of her uniform and into an oversized t-shirt she would neatly fold away her clothes before climbing into bed. Tomorrow LC Shadow would be fighting his duel with Captain Penilli, which would be well worth seeing, though she hoped he would take on board the warning she'd given him after all she wouldn't want Shadow to be caught out by a dirty trick.

With that thought in mind she would slowly drift off to sleep.

Re: Officer's  Quarters

Harry barely heard a word that Grit had said as she gaped in stupefied shock at the sight of Shadow and Penilli talking together within the Rec Dec, with the scumbag captain that had gone out of his way to ruin not just her career but her life eating steak!?

Had she been alone or with Gia for that matter she would have no doubt gone storming over to find out what the hell the LC was playing at or even to just outright murder Penilli with his own steak knife. But thankfully for all involved she wasn't alone, she was with Grit and they were going back to his quarters to have some fun, forget him Harry you’re Delta now he can't touch you anymore! Besides the LC is probably only playing good cop to get information on Marko...yes that's probably it. but all the same it just didn't feel right to see him sitting there like that, not after everything that he’d done.

Doing her best to drive all thoughts of what she'd just seen from her mind she listened as Grit explained the racket they had going by brewing shine down in the foundry. As interesting as it was she couldn't help but think that he was just a little trusting of her considering how much trouble they could land in if SEC were to ever learn of it, though luckily for him she knew how to keep her mouth shut.

When they finally arrived at his quarters Harry would find herself standing in a room almost identical to her own save for the personal touches added by it's occupant giving it a lived in feel that her own quarters currently lacked "hmmm very nice...and not a lady mag in sight" she said jokingly before hanging her jacket on a vacant peg "so...why don't you pour us both a drink, cold and neat...and then you can tell me how such a charming Aussie came to be here"
