Nikkis and Haley entered their billet.  It was a bit messy still.  first step they changed into more comfortable attire and their good clothes, barely worn were hung up with care.  Haley wore a cream shirt with a picture of an 'old' vid, 'Planet of the Amazon Women', and a pair of grey leggings.  Nikki just wore off duty fatigues with a Hermes t-shirt.  For a few minutes they straightened the room up a bit.  Via the desk comm she sent the QM a request for some replacement items such as a set sheets and blanket for her bed.  "I might have to dress up for a party..get all 'Girly'. she said to Haley making a face at Girly, like she was gonna get cooties.
"Eeewww...who wants a 'girly' girl" Haley giggled back
"I know...and I gotta find a date"
"You wanna date a guy who likes a girly girl?"
"Nope..You"
"Nope" they teased each other while picking things up.  Nikki did wonder if she could take Mitch, but he was on the Ares.
After a bit they both began feeling hunger pains, and Nikki did say something about 'hot chocolate'.  They began heading out for the rec dec.

   Standing by his  door, Shadow looked at her and the   fellow running after her,..Oh?  LT... I don't need an escort to walk down the passage way?.. we have guards  and everything.. I know you must be coincerned    ,,having to   follow  your Captain into the head and prepare  the paper  for him..

 Taking off his   tunic  and shirt, he   took care  to  hang the   tunic.. Put the shirt into the cleaning chute I bet?.. Ship's  don't have alot of room... but i bet my Condo  on Fuji is bigger then what you got...  he  put on his  shirt. The  HUng up his sword on the   rack.

  changing pants,   Sana  looked  Chuck.....what?... You  changed in fighter Locker rooms   before...

 he looked at them with a Big smile  as he put  on a pair  of   flight boots,..so.. you want something to eat and drink..cause?.. your  next meal  will be in medtech.. i don't  screw around when i fight...

 The  woman asked ..you think  you can  take Us Both?

 he shook his ehad    with a Grin...see those  two guy   guarding the Lift?... or those  two guys  guarding the    door to the engine room?... I could  take  two of them.. but i would   know i was in a fight.... all 4 of them?.. I might  take three of them down.. maybe all 4.. but luck would need  to be involved...

 ..you two?.. it  won't take more then a few Minutes..in fact?..it will take Med Tech  twice as long to get here, as it  does  for me to  put you on the Dec... now?  Its Gonna hurt.. alot.... but you might learn something...

  The guards  left the  door open to the  Admiral's side of the passage . The  sauntered up the   PAssage  towards  the LC  and the two Pilots   as they stood in the   Hall.

 Chuck Monne  looked over his shoudler,..they here  to Protect you?

 The  Older guard   smiles,..No Sir  , LT.. we're here to  do one of two things... 1... is  to make sure  Med Tech is called  for you all...

 Shadow  shrugs,..some times. people break alot easier  then i would  judge them to..

 He  rubs  his hands...so we ready?.. I won't use my blades.. you can if yhou want... no sidearms  though..don't want any one hurt who doesn't need to be...

Making his way to his cabin Justin changed into fatigues he set about his daily three hour exercise regimen.

 He   Rushed   Shadow  Low..  Sana   Jumped in the  air  and Swung her  Leg in a Round House  Kick.

    Kray   Jumped  In the   Air his  left arm caught Sana's  right  leg  and his     right  Leg    Camd   down on her Knee.. the Crack was  sicken  as was her scream..

  Comgin Down  of    Monne   , the Balck man  Kicked   a   book  backwards   and  Caught shadow's    left cheek...

   Shadow     spun  Off  the man's  Back  grabbed  his   head  and  slammed it to the Dec 4 Times   before Willie said,...LC!... he's  done....

  He  got up, Kyle was  already calling  Med Techs ...

 Sana  was  holding  her leg that was bent the wrong  way.. Chuck  was out.. his   nose flat against his    face... his lips   spilt.. and a few  teeth broken.

   Shadow crouched by Sana.....Bastard  kicked me... what did he think was gonna happen?....That knee there?... you won't be flyiong  for a week..maybe  2.....It will give you time  to learn the  name of your SEC troopers..

  Med Techs  came up... Maris    was Jogging   down the   passage  way. the guards on thier side of the  Lift  were  watching, but didn't leave thier  post.

 nor  did the guards  at the Engine  room, who only moved  up a few yards.  Behind  MAris   the rest of the  Brass followed , still holding   coffee Cups   or   tumblers

  The   Men Tech gave  Sana  who was still  screaming and Sobbing  an  ejection to quiet her  they  strapped  her   onto a Hover  cart.

 The Limp  body of   Monne was  strapped  down as  well... Captain MAris   looked at  them, then Looked  to  Shadow.

  Miller told the Med techs  to wait.. and the    Gaggle of officers    went down the Lift  first.

 Lizzy came out of the lift and headed for her quarters,  it had been a long day. She opened her quarters and went in, shut and locked the door.

 She began to strip and head for the,shower and took a long shower trying to get her head straight. Her Dad would not give up but Lizzy wasn't going to back down either. She was still thinking of Carl and hoping they would fine his body at least.

 Lizzy was glad she cleared things up with Melia, and she had a blast with Harry but most likely that won't happen again for a while. As long as they where friends she,was happy.

 Lizzy got out of the shower dried off,put her robe on and sat down. She saw a message from her Father to meet him at the field at 9:00am. She would send a message back, See you there, and I do love you.

 With all that done she would head to her bed and lay down, she was sound asleep seconds after her head hit the pillow.

  any officers  who were not On duty , had  Made there  way to thier  quarters....  Party tomorrow... checking   thier machines in the morning, and  getting ready to Dock.

 Shadow  walked  down to his   quarters,  a Door Hissed  opened  close  By, Abby came out  with  sweats  and a    Fuji Academy Tank top.

 The LC Nodded,..My Quarters.... I'm not  going  in your  quarters..Just not  Done...

 they  walked up the   passage ,  he   tapped the  door and it  Opened...Right...  Have a drink  if you want..there is a small bar by  the  Action figures... he   Hung his jacket up on the  rail.

 She padded over  to the bar and poured some  scotch  getting  some ice   from the dispenser...I thought you didn't  drink?

  I don't.. I beat it  a long  time ago..i can have the shots..maybe a beer..but i don't want to any longer..and   I am smart enough, and have the Will power to  fight off  urges.... sometimes?.. I get tested... so  I'll pour a drink sit it  by me, and   fight off  any urge to drink it... he  gets  a glass of  chocolate Milk...now..what do you need?

 Captain Morris   gave this to me... he tends  to let me take first shot at  warnings... if he steps in..well.. the results  are worse.... This  Is  your 'Ace kill'.... what do you see...

 she loked up at Shadow.. a little  angry.

 Right now?..neither  Captain Morris or  myself  are saying you  chased the kill , and let a teammate die..... however.... i can't say the same  for  other pilots.... There  will be times ...if you live long enough,  that you'll have to make  a choice to save  one of your   comrades.... you'll have to train yourself  to look....and you have to...Gods be damned  well listen to orders.... when you do stupid stuff..and you add things  like this pic?.. you'er gonna get to the point where no one  will fly with you...

 she downed the drink,...ok.... thank you..LC.... she took the folder   with the pick and  the Kill standings  and she  walked out the door... she  stopped at HArry's  door  and  rang the Buzzer

Although the walk back from the observation dec had taken a little longer than usual it had thankfully been pain free leaving her only a slight throbbing sensation that should disappear once she was in bed.

It was as she was part way through getting undressed that she would hear the door buzzer going off, causing her to mutter a curse before limping over to answer it. Barefoot and down to her vest top and trousers she would open the door to find Abby standing there with a folder in her hand "Oh hey sis, what can I do for you?" she asked having half expected to find Lizzy at her door wanting to discuss either her father or Carl, getting a visit from her sister instead however was somewhat of a surprise with her supposing that it would only be a matter of time before learned whether it was a good surprise or not.

    Abby came In Will was sitting on the edge of the  Ben in  Gym shorts. He gave her a wave. Abby managed to   pull her eyes  away  as she   said.

  ..I just came from Shadow's  room?.. he had this... he was supposed to  show it to me  and  explain...

 She handed     Harry the Pic, showing    Abby  torching a  Vampic ..the film read 'Fighter CAM 139'

   to the   9:00 high, was one of the Hopefuls , NO-CA 145..    Pusle rounds  from  Dizie's  machine were ehaded to the Vampic on her  tail... at    Abby's   11:00 Low was    Betty Fress, with  a Vampic on her tail...

  The Vampic   Abby torched was Pullign away from the   Fight.. The  Film looked like, if Abby continued straight..she would have  saved  Fress's  life.. at least..in this  instance.

 4 smaller cells showed   Abby  chasing the Battered Vampic..  and Fress exploding.. and the Vampic behind  NO-Ca exploding.

As Abby looked at it she said softly,..LC..more or less said it was a teaching moment..which is  why  Captain Morris  had him handle it... next time..Captain Morris  will call me in....

Lizzy got up around 7 she felt really good after a good night's sleep. She jumped into the shower and cleaned up, got dressed in her Duty uniform for now plus she wasn't sure if she was on duty or not or did Daddy get her free time for her birthday. Lizzy then thought hey 'Happy Birthday' to me. She smiled and made sure her quarters where in good order.

 Like she did every year she sat on the edge of her bed and said thank you for another year and remembered what her Mother did for her so she could be here. She kissed her mother's picture and put it in her pocket. She would check her dress, her red 3' heels and made sure she had a proper bra for the dress.

 Lizzy would relax for a bit she didn't have to meet her Father till 9 at the Field. She was nervous she had no idea what else he was going to pull to get her to leave the Hermes. Lizzy wanted friends around her just in case he pulled a surprise on her she would have support.
She thought of sending Harry a comm message to meet her at the Field when she could but it was maybe still too early she would probably sleep in today.

 Having plenty of time she would open her computer check the news and other reports, check her messages and also check her comms, to see if her Dad had contacted her this morning or she heard anything about Carl yet.

 Not finding any messages she will close up her computer and head out to the Field to meet her Father.

After inviting Abby in with a single motion of her head an amused smile would appear on Harry's face as she watched Abby after a brief struggle tear her eyes away from Will, who was currently sitting on the edge of the bed in only his shorts, at which point she would hand over the folder so that Harry could look at the pictures within.

After taking a moment to study the set of stills taken from gun cam footage at the battle of Glara, there would be a sharp intake of breath from Harry as she reached the same conclusion as Morris and Shadow had "well...we did warn you" Harry said in a disappointed voice, having neither the energy or inclination to either shout at or lecture her sister "...I wish there was something I could say to help but I'm afraid you're just going to have to live with this one, only you will know deep down whether your actions got her killed" she quietly said, closing the folder and handing it back to Abby "all I'm going to say is next time you decide to go hunting for kills, or that you know better than your flight leader you remember the name Betty Fress and what happened to her and maybe, just maybe it might stop it happening again"

  Abby nodded.. he  face  was blank..not even  a scowl, or tears......I saw the one of   fress's  tail..... all i Knew   is  i had a clean kill with one  more heartbeat to  pull the trigger....

 she turned abck to the  door,..i..i guess i should get some sleep.....
 she  took the folder , tapping the door lock.

   They were on the   elevator...Me, Ma'am?...  Its been...well. a month , amybe  2 or so.... I was living on Anzio. I ran into some   pilot ladies  at a  Military   supply shop.. I  wanted to try and  get a Sanri Blaster , Like   LC Shadow  uses?.. but it almost borke  my nose when i test fired it...

  ..anyway.. they  got me to see the ship?.. and  I asked to sign up.. I guess they really needed people  bad because of the  Aqra battles and stuff... but here i am!..um..Ma'am..

 the door opened   , they stepped out  heading up the passageway to the  quarters.

"We are always looking for volunteers in the fleet. We have managed to survive this long without needing to draft, or even pressure people to join. That means we need more volunteers always.

Did they finally teach you to handle a sanri blaster or is your preferred weapon a crowbar?" She asks with grin as they arrive.

"If so it will make one hell of a action figure in the next series." She adds, opening the door and dropping the bag inside. Turning back to him she fishes in her pocket for a moment. "It's one of the last ones I have from the Ironwood." She says shaking his hand slipping into it one of the last few challenge coins she has remaining from before the Ironwood left the Alpha Quadrant.

 Lucky looks at it, his mouth is opened a bit,.But?..Ma'am?.. I can't take this... I wasn't on your ship ?.. it should go to one of them, that deserves it!

With Abby turning to leave Harry would reach out to gently grab her arm before she had chance to walk out the door "Listen Abby don't beat yourself up too much about this, these things happen...no one knows for certain that you going after the other Vampic would have saved her life, like you said you may have been a heartbeat too slow and he would have torched her anyway" she softly explained, not liking the blank look in her sisters eyes; a girl that had normally had a retort for every occasion "Shadow's right, take this as a learning experience and make sure it doesn't happen again...now...are you going to be alright? I can stop over at yours if you need company?" she asked, knowing that Will would understand if she had to change sleeping arrangements for tonight. Regardless of how Abby answered the question Harry would gently draw her into a hug, because regardless of whether or not she was responsible for Betty's death Abby was still her sister and she cared for her deeply.

  Will Rose  and Grabbed a pair of pants,..hey?..Um.. I just remembered i  forgot to sign off on my paperwork.... so.. um..i'll be donw SEC for the Night   until i get  caught up?... Abby can stay here?

 he looked around for his  shirt and   weapon Belt, then headed out  the  Door  giving    HArry  a kiss on the top of the ehad, and  Abby a pat on the Back, and was out the door.

 ..he  don't have any bleedin' paperwork.... she  said softly as he was gone.

"No, he doesn't" Harry softly agreed with a fond smile before slowly leading Abby towards the bedroom, with her deciding to reward his chivalry when the opportunity arose "come on, you can borrow one my nighties" she said, with a quick glance telling her that Abby's figure was close enough to hers that it should fit her well enough for one night.

Once they were in the bedroom Harry would quickly strip out of her clothes and pull on her little pink nightie before neatly folding her clothes for the next morning, seemingly unconcerned by Abby being in the same room as her, although she would make an effort not to look at Abby whilst she changed into the little blue nightie had given her so as not to make her uncomfortable.

Once they had both finished getting changed and were in bed Harry would turn off the lights before putting her arms around her sister and gently stroking her hair "you know, I haven't done this since I was like...fifteen...and I was where you are" she whispered, smiling faintly at the memory of how Julie had comforted a distraught teenage Harry "...my girlfriend had very publicly dumped me so the whole school knew that I was a lesbian...needless to say I didn't take it very well" she quietly continued uncertain as to why she had decided to share that particular story with her.

  Abby sighed,..never  understod that..ya know?...I mean , Ive  seen  1000's  of   hot naked   women?..never  seened to have the need to jump one!

  ..I dunno... what i'm  gonna do?... I was praised  fer bein' the first to attack...brink back dorne kills  by the dozen.... but..I come out here, an' the LC bitches me out... and ..and then Betty?..She was one of the first  people ta  talk to me when  the ESN  'had me transferred'..like some  piece of  equipment!

"Thousands huh?" Harry replied with a chuckle "...can't claim to have seen that many, but what can I say? Certain girls just turn me on...I mean I could try and explain it you but that would just make us both feel uncomfortable, so my advice is don't worry about it as your obviously just wired up differently to me is all" she said with a shrug before listening as Abby spoke of her problems with the LC despite seemingly having been the golden child back at Fuji "What can I say...welcome to the big pond little fish...honestly Abby you need to stop dwelling on how well you did back at the academy, you need to concentrate on the here and now, the rules have changed as has what is expected of you so like I've said before you need to listen to what we're telling you and pay attention to what's going on around you else people are going to die, ok?...now...as soon I'm off light duties we're going to hit the SIMs and see if we can't beat that into you" Harry said, tapping the side of her sisters head with an index finger for emphasis "also you'd better not snore else you may find yourself being suffocated with a pillow"

   ..Yeah.. well... you'll get a bit of a boppin' if you try to  smoother me.....  she   nestled in lose to the  wall,....thanks, Sis....

Sarah smiles kindly, "you most certainly can take it. I decide who gets them. You helped me out and you're a proven hero. Take it with you dirt side if you get a chance see how many drinks you can get from people forgetting to carry coins from their own ship. Just be careful because if they have yours you'll owe them a drink." She adds with a wink.

  He takes the Coin like its  made  out of fine  china...Thank you Ma'am.. I won't   forget this..  my Mom and Dad  will be surprised... i didn't  tell them about  the   boarding action..by since i got  my slashes .. I  can show them  this  In Vid COm.

 He  Gives a Smart  Salute , tries to pivot  smoothly..but is a Bit  awkward.. he stops at the  Lift door  and sorta waves to her... the   two guards  just look at each other , one shakes his head, the  Other one  nudges him through the lift  doors  and the close.

 The  Guards    just shrugs  at  Sarah as the lift  goes  down.
