Re: Officer's  Quarters

As they talked   there was a knock at the door. Grit looked about and shut the locker  haphazardly.

The  door opened and  JO-Wa stood there...I have come as you said?

Waving him, The Aussie  shut the door.. and  took three of the Bottles out of the carton...'ere ya got  mate?.. 3  bottles of me best... he shrugs,..me only?  But its the bloody best.

The Angel opens his jacket and slips the bottles into the  side pockets.. he frowns at the 3rd...I only asked  for  3, My friend?

..aye... too right... But ya  see? I mind be  off line  for a bit.. so ya treat that 3rd one as  back up.

The Angel smiled   as he  slid that one  down the sleeve of His Jacket...thank you, my friend. Let me know when you are stocking up again..

..yeh..yeh.. i bloody well will..now? if ya'd be so kind.. i..um  'ave  thins' ta do?  he jerked his ehad in Harry's  direction.

..Oh!.. Yes... Good  night to both of  you.. and thank you....

  Jo-WA leaves,......bloody Urns.

Re: Officer's  Quarters

Smiling sweetly Harry would give the Angel a little finger wave from where she was casually perched upon the kitchen counter, trying her best to look the part of the sweet, innocent little princess that was simply looking for a good time. Though no sooner had Jo-Wa left the room she was off the counter and speaking to Grit in a brusque business like tone "right, lock that door and reset the password before anyone else turns up and I'll start dealing with this lot" she said, grabbing one of the three remaining bottles and putting it in Grit's fridge followed by the three empties going into the bin for SEC to find; evidence that Urns had obviously raided poor Grit's personal stash, leaving the remaining two that would be going back to her quarters to be drunk at her leisure.

Leaving Grit to deal with resetting his door and PC, Harry would begin the laborious task of pouring all thirty six bottles of shine stored under his locker down the sink, followed by a healthy dose of bleach to hide the smell "What do you suppose he was looking for on your PC? I mean...have you got anything valuable on there?" Harry asked, hoping that an extremely drunk Urns had simply wanted to watch some dirty films that he knew Grit had on his hard drive, though somehow she didn't think that would be the case "...and here was me thinking my days of destroying evidence were behind me..."

Re: Officer's  Quarters

Pausing in the act of stuffing the now empty bottles into a bin liner to give Grit a puzzled look, Harry had to admit that it didn't make a lot of sense for Urns to hack Grit's personal details because when all was said and done he was only an Ensign so it wasn't like he had clearance for anything confidential and made even less sense when you figured in the stolen hooch "the only thing I can think of is he's either trying to find some skeletons in your closet to blackmail you with, or he's trying to do some kind of identity theft" she said, though neither of those options sounded particularly likely to her...besides which they both sounded far too intelligent for Urns leading her to wonder yet again whether there was someone trying to set them both up.

With the panel in Grit's locker re-sealed and the empty bottles bagged up ready to be thrown down a rubbish chute Harry would breathe a sigh of relief over a job well done before turning to smile at the Aussie "look something is obviously going on here, but until we can get our hands on Urns to ask him some rather pointed questions there's not a lot we can do, so lets just go back to my place, we can trash bottles on the way and then me and you can have a drink and relax...what do you say?"

Re: Officer's  Quarters

After throwing the bag of empty bottles down a waste disposal chute Harry would take Grit back to her place; shedding her boots and jacket moments after setting foot through the door. After engaging the lock she'd then cycle through the vid screen until she found a channel playing old rock and punk songs with the young blonde quietly singing along to Los Angeles is Burning as she poured the pair of them a drink from one of the bottles she'd brought back with her before then taking a seat within Grit's lap, something that she was getting very used to doing, though without a couch their options were rather limited.

It was as Bad Religion finished to be replaced by Rancid singing Ruby Soho that Harry would speak, sounding far calmer than she had back in Grit's place "Tell me Grit...if you weren't a pilot and we weren't at war what would you be doing?" she asked, gently resting her head upon his shoulder, which was something else that she was really getting used to "I'm just curious is all because...I can't really imagine myself doing anything else but this...in fact my life has pretty much been a disaster up until the moment I stepped into that recruiting office" she said, taking a sip of her drink, curious to see how Grit would respond.

"I find that hard to believe, a resourceful guy like you would have found something to do...it might not have been legal but I'm certain you'd have found something...I on the other hand would have been hidden away in one of Daddy's offices where I couldn't cause anymore trouble" she said with a smile, grateful that she'd avoided that fate as she was certainly not cut out for office work. Come to think of it, it was whole idea of winding up working for the family business that had driven her to misbehave in the first place...that and the fact that her whole life had felt like it had been on rails from the moment she'd started school.

Pouring both herself and Grit another drink, assuming that he was ready of course, Harry would sing along to the Good Charlotte song that had cycled onto the station, clearly enjoying herself as she burst into laughter at the line I've got Brass knuckles hanging from my neck on a chain "I used to do that! God's I'd forgotten all about that!" she explained in between gales of laughter "Look I'll show you!" she said jumping up from out of his lap and rushing over to her bedside cabinet to retrieve a photo from out of a battered jewellery box "See? I used to think I looked so tough with all that on...huh...Didn't I look like such a prat?" she said holding the photo out for Grit to see.

Leaning against the hood of what was clearly a stolen sports car was a younger version of Harry, though it took a little bit of imagination to link the two together as the girl in the picture had shaved her head and dyed the stubble black to match the badly daubed goth makeup she wore along with fishnet stockings, short-shorts and a denim kutte that displayed the beginnings of her sleeve of gang tatt's...not to mention the set of brass knuckles hanging about her neck on a silver chain "so...what do you reckon? did I make the right call on growing my hair back out?"

But i'm thinkin' ya bailed in time....all them folks?  They are just another trend.. we  had a bunch in Aussie LAnd... got in a bit of  a barney with more then a few..... knocked the piercings right off their ehad, when they tried to mix it up with  proper blokes...

then he  just waved it aside,..i guess in the Bloody end, wasn't  too much difference  between blokes who are wearin' bush  hats  an' gettin' drunk and folks   who get al painted up?.. everyone had their own way of  steppin' out..eh?

Justin was dog tired, the extended shift was quite taxing he plopped into bed to wake sometime later refreshed and ready for whatever the Brass had in mind. Ordering a meal he showered and dressed just as it was delivered, smiling contently at the now familiar timing he'd developed he thanked Corporal M Magee who was generally rostered at this time for the meal, as he accepted the provided tray.

"My thoughts exactly" Harry said, agreeing that she'd managed to bail on that particular life style before things had gone past the point of no return.

Turning the old photo around to face her, Harry would examine the young girl perched on the stolen car with a nostalgic look on her face, wondering where all that time had gone "you know she'd have kicked your ass if she'd heard you laughing at her look, she was so desperate for people to take her seriously and be afraid of her...the poor girl was in over her head and just didn't realise it" she said offering the girl in the photo a sad little smile before seeming to snap out of her reverie "Right well anymore of that and I'll be getting depressed, so I say its time the two of us went to bed, it wouldn't look good if we fell asleep during the send off tomorrow" she said giving him a quick kiss on the cheek before heading towards her bed, pausing long enough to return the photo to within the jewellery box before beginning to get undressed, calling over her shoulder to Grit with a smile "are you coming or what?"

Apart from the Alpha Fleet kerfuffle and the Hyrian, Verian visit the day looked like it would be what he'd learnt to expect in Delta. Making his way back to his Cabin after the Court Martial Justin checked his Roster for Scheduled duties, then put in an hour with routine Administration; followed by his regular three hour exercise regimen. After showering and dressing he headed to the Rec dec for a change of scenery.

Upon returning to her quarters with Grit in tow Harry would retrieve a pair of glasses from out of a cupboard and pour them each a measure of her newly acquired Kentucky Bourbon, and although she preferred to have her drink neat she would offer Grit the option of some ice if he so chose "Why don't you choose a film for us to watch whilst I go and freshen up a little...no slasher horror movies thought I want to relax remember?" Harry quietly suggested before leaning up to kiss him, her fingers twining within his hair as she did so.

After disappearing into the small en-suite to perform her usual evening rituals she would emerge once again, clad in her knickers and a large ESN t-shirt that was almost like a skirt on her "See, I'm even wearing my sexiest lingerie for you" she giggled, slipping beneath the sheets after collecting her drink and beckoning Grit to join her.

It wouldn't take long for Grit to notice that now they were behind closed doors that's Harry's personality had per usual taken on a decidedly more feminine slant with the girl eagerly cuddling up next to him the moment he took his place beside her, with her being seemingly content with him to simply hold her. In truth it was probably for the best that she'd let Grit choose the film as they'd barely got around half way through before he would notice that she'd fallen sound asleep with her head resting upon his shoulder and a contented smile on her face.

She looks around and nods before entering her quarters and setting her space bag and kit down, looking around at human accommodations for the first time.

"If you don't mind it's been a long flight, sir. I could use some cleaning up, a change of clothes, and some sleep. Not in that order. May I view the rec deck after all of the above are completed?"

After a strenuous workout in his cabin Justin showered, changed and was making his way towards the Officers Mess when he spotted Captain Morris and an Angle Ensign. Assuming this was another of their Liaison Officers sent to arrange for Joint Opreations discussion, he snapped a respectful passing salute to Captain Morris.

An'teela was immediately taken in by the human male she saw walking by out of the corner of her eye. So much so that she snapped her attention to him, rather taken in by his height, his poise, and his striking blue eyes.

'That has to be one of the best looking human males I have ever seen.' She thought to herself before snapping off a salute (assuming his longevity on board means he outranks her).

Noting the Salute, Justin came to an abrupt halt. Turning to allow Captain Morris and the Angle Ensign unimpeded access to the passage. Puzzled by the salute he glanced at the Angle suspecting that either she was saluting the Blue Max, or it was part of their Angle Military Practice to salute Officers of Equal or Higher Rank.

Justin smiled at the recognition of her declaration; glancing at her name tag he looked at Captain Morris, who's slight nod of permission to speak, allowing Justin to reply. Ensign Anteela, approximately 20 months ago you would have been correct. Regretfully at the time I acted rather rashly, to my detriment, and as you see we are the same rank. Ensign Justin Tiberius Kase at your service.

In accordance with formal Bushido protocol Justin returned the An'teela's bow. Captain Morris, may I be permitted to accompany you and Ensign An'teela on this tour of the Hermes. Not having been privy to such on my arrival I would deem it an honour and privilege to participate in this. After which I would like to invite both you and Ensign An'teela to an informal meal and greeting in honour of her transfer to the Hermes.
