 Flipping open the Lind, there is something that looks  like  an Old  Flintlock Pistol, but newer...made..different...Got into a Bar fight  on MArs one time...Broke this  Pirate Guy's  Jaw, his Buddy pulled this On me... some fella...his name  was  Hack...blew  his head right off his shoulders....I kept  the Gun...she done alright by me...then  some Damged  Pirate Boobie Trap took most of  my right foot..so now?..I take care  of weapons, instead of getting to fire them...

 ..they are  CAlled cappers, because of the way the HAmmer system is set up...this girl, takes a .45 round... you slip the Modified  Power  cell here...  he points to the  slot in the  handle...then aim.....  he brings the Gun up  after  Pulling back the HAmmer


 ..and  ya  fire.... he Pulls the Trigger the Power cell sets a flash up the chamber as the HAmmer hits it..the  Result  is  , the Big MAn's arm flies  straight back..he even staggered a bit..the  .45  round its the target  just Under one of the shot up pics.. there is a Massive"splash" of Melted, pulverized  lead, in a 1/2 inch deep crater...

 ..the Power Cell..feeds inta the chamber as the HAmmer  comes down..this  send the   bullet off, faster..and Hotter, then a normal round...pirates like 'em cause they can take out a guard, with out killin' 'em..but?..it will kill them real fast, if hit  in the right place....Just Image..some Demon Tank, gettin' hit in the Chest by a BAll of  Molten Lead?

 Putting a Box  of  .45 shells on the table, he adds,..some  70  sounds in that carton...don't be afraid to use them...Shadow  always gets me some when he hits the Black MArket  he nods his head and turns back to the ramp,..Drink yer  ater too..clean yourself out...

Irina was drenched in sweat, a full three quarters of the way down the hangar when she realized the QM had joined her. She had basically turned the entire place into a giant range, and rule number one on any range was to hold your fire when someone was over the firing line. So after taking a moment to safe her weapon she forced herself to jog over to demon fighter to join the man. In between long gasping breaths for air she greedily gulped down the offered water. While she was wearing a camel back. It was no longer nearly as refreshing as the cool crisp water the QM had just provided. The Russian let out a satisfied groan as she splashed some of the water on her face. After a few moments she had caught her breath enough to speak. "Da, this shore leave was tits up from the beginning," Irina said as she light a cigarette. Taking a long drag from the cigarette as she takes a moment to study the ornate box, and it's deadly contents.

With great care she lifts the pistol out of the box, and wanders back to the shooting booth. After seeing what the recoil had done to the larger man she gave the Clapper the respect it deserved. Holding onto the gun tightly with her weight forward she gently squeezed the trigger. The gun roared, and molten lead went flight. Irina held onto the gun if just barely, and was forced to step back. "Kicks like a fucking mule comrade," She say as she returns the gun to it's case. "It's definitely an impressive gun, but I don't think it's my kind of weapon. It's a one shot wonder, and yeah there is definitely a time, and place for that. The reason I like the Largran pulse pistol thought is, because it strikes the right balance in versatility. I can carry plenty of ammo without taking up a lot of space, or weighing myself down. It hits hard for a pulse weapon. Plus I can squeeze more then one round off at a time without breaking my shoulder."

Irina closes the lid, and hands the box back to the Quarter master, "Thanks for the water comrade, but I think I'm going to pack it in for today," Irina says as she heads up to the armory to put her weapons away.

 the door slides opens and they walk down the Ramp, SHadow hits the Lights, there is the shooting range and Dummies but he  motions for  Bo to Follow him to the Stern a bit more. He  hits     the  partition  and it slides open, turning On the Lights inside...Spoils of war... The Admiral's own collection.....

 Parked in the Hanger is a Demon Fighter ( now painted in ESN Colors)  and a Largran Fighter ( painted as well, He points to a desk..on the desk is a Paper  airplane sitting in a Block of  wood,..That's  a Mull fighter....

  Go chuckles "no it wasn't what happened, the c-10 was the feint.  They wouldn't have gotten on board if it hadn't been found." Looks at the fighters,  "Flown one of these." Nods at the demon fighter " flew a bunch of those till I was sent to the Principal's office." nods at the paper plane. "At least it's safer than that rusty cab. But the Largran fighter, never had the pleasure.". He walks to it. " Have you? "

 Kray  Nodded,anything we capture, that is  used as a Fighter, The Admiral and I take out...see what it does..try to  write Up reports and such on how to fight them...Largrans have shields...keeps power weapons off them for  a while...other then that, they can both be  shot  down, except By Missles....Only heat seekers  will hit them, and You have to be right on thier tail..otherwsie, something in thier Output screws  with the  tracking...we tried   point-and-click  missles..., but  even a bad  pilot  can get out of the way...

  yeah...But Missles?..they aren't  for out here...the extra  weight for one or 2 shots?..I'd  rather  use   for another  two belts of  Cannon ammo.

 One thing  I noticed out here? Demons, LArgrans, creshians...all thier  weakspots  are at the rear....our fighters have extra plates around the Power Cells...I can never  figure out why?...If I get on the tail of  one of these and Pump  a cannon round or two into  the tail section, they Blow  apart  like a firecraker....doesn't make any sense to me...

  No laughs "I'm not complaining as long as we can fix it once we capture it.  The really silly part is how much they flinch when you shoot at that heavily armored nose and never watch their six enough to jink.  I like the missiles to fire off head on in the beginning and then me and my buddies get on their buts while they are watching the missiles.  After that they are a distraction unless you need them to tie up one guy while you go after another.  But then I'm used to flying a heavier fighter where missile weight isn't as much a liability.

  As they head  up the Ramp he asks,Don't know  if your  family knows of any? But  tell them to keep an eye out  for EDT down there...We managed to harvest a few of the Big Guns, but the Bottom feeders will be trying to fill in the  holes, Once  we cast off...

Jesse had carefully wheeled her cart of goodies through the corridors of the Hermes to the Black Hanger.  The QM was at his desk and she gave a low whistle of her approaching.

Do you have a minute? she asked.

  The QM  approached, i have some timer, were almost done taking stock of what we lost, and what we brought back...watcha need?

 his eyes  studied the card  as he asked.

Looking at the goodies on her cart, she gave him a big bright smile.

Something I came up with, she said and handed him the card of the solution/mix in the cans.  I need some place special and safe to store these until I go out on a mission.  Know of such a place?

  The QB looks over the CArd.well..you have a locker  down there..Black Hnager   is  about the best place outside of the  armory...Just make sure you use the blast containers down there....they will help alot, if something goes  wrong..

She gives QM a look of surprise and then a giggle.  That'd be one hellacious BOOM!  That's for certain.  Thanks.

She pushed her cart down towards her locker and found the explosive/blast containers and carefully packed and then stacked on a single level and then placed one on top of the next making sure there were no shaking, or chance of an oopsie.

As she gave everything a once over, she smiles as she stood back with hands on hips and then closed her locker and headed out.

Only hand these down to the next formidable user if anything should happen to me.  No one phoney or out of their minds...worse than the person this was made in mind about.

She shuffled off to go talk to Roy and see what other things she could get into.

Walking down the ramp,he waves the the back that has target dummies...some heavy bags a mat in the middle.

He heads back up the ramp, when. She's alone, Melia sees names on the lockers that she has never met,might have heard in passing.

A coffee machine...soda machine ..stack of empty pizza boxes racks of weapons..a large wall mount with a variety of daggers and boot knives..one including a sword from The traitor Ara Sonia.

Melia nods slightly taken aback by the black hanger. She looks around at the different names.  Some she recognized as they were currently aboard the ship,  others she'd heard of such as Irina. Finding an empty locker with no tag, it seemed irreverent to take someone's locker even if they were gone or dead.  She glances at the fighters,  a small part of her feeling a little jealous the shuttle she'd stolen hasn't made it into the collection, but it was a shuttle afterall, less important than a fighter for sure as far as combat in the black was concern. Some of the fighter jocks she'd listened to in the past often compared shuttle pilots to bus drivers. Considering the slower larger vessels to be easy targets that required an eacort less they get shot up on their own.  It was different here however so she shrugs moving along.  As the QM leaves she thanks him for his help. She wanders about examining the various remnants of prior members,  a engineering cage filed with gear and tools,  a target with a crater in it filed with molten lead.  On the engineering cage she sees a name Xy... couldn't make it the rest as it was covered in grease.  Inside she notices a few weapons sights and some other experimental tools and devices she doesn't recognize. Not having met or heard of anyone named Xy.... she wonders what happened to them. As she wanders she debates cleaning up the pizza boxes and other clutter eventful deciding against it at least until she got better acclimated to the spec ops team.  She quickly decides to keep a medic pack here as well as the plasma weapon.  The rocket launcher,  much more suited to nonblack ops could stay in her standard locker.  Popping up to the top she signs the plasma weapon and the good quality M1 rifle down to the black hanger locker.

  The Seaman is back at the cage. she gives . Melia a knowing smile . ....you 'll leave the card here and ask for it,when  you want to use the  Black Hanger........any souvenirs.....still need tagged.but you  Wil be able to keep items in  the Hanger

She nods understanding the need for security.  She pops out quickly to the med lab grabbing an extra scalpel set and med bag to have at the ready for anything. She smiles at the targets,  with the way they're able to be set up she'd be able to practice all her shooting skills easily. Lifting the lid on a pizza box she's greeted by a completely molded slice of pizza left in the box.  She grimaces a little remembering a time when she'd have eaten it without hesitation.  She pulls out her comm and sends Shadow a message,  [what is fair game, and what isn't?  Also will anyone be offended if I clean up some of these pizza boxes and clutter? ] thoughts of reverence no longer in her head she eyes a particularly high quality scope in the engineers cage. It'd be prefect for the M1 and possibly ideal for any of the snipers in a mid range operation.

..Shadow COMS  back .it's   all  for the  unit...personal stuff Will be in your lockers.....I have been spending some time down there....saved the pizza boxes for targets? but if you want to clean up...no one will be upset....

Melia, reads the comm and busies herself cleaning up the small messes. The pizza slice is disposed of as well as any moldy boxes. The rest are stacked neatly with other targets.  She cleans the counters and the coffee maker not necessarily scrubbing but definitely wiping things down. Once she's done she sets up some targets and practices with her sidearm.

 The   time spent in the Black Hanger is therapeutic . Besides  being exclusive, there are no portholes..only the  lights  set and a Few  stand up lights  brought in by the others  to help light the back area better.

 By the Coffee machine was a bulletin board with a few pics of burned buildings, or crashed  enemy   fighters.

 Scrawled on a piece of leather are the  words....

The time was indeed cathartic. After few rounds Melia had started to feel more balanced and in control of herself again.  She finishes the set of drills with the sidearm and cleans up her mess nodding at the tidying up she'd done satisfied. As she left she handed of her card to one of the cage techs thanking them for their time. She decides to head to the hanger to work on a better organizational scheme for the medical gear aboard the shuttles.
