Sitting on the edge of the bed pinching the bridge of her nose Harry would listen as Lizzy practically begged to meet her somewhere so that they could talk and as much as she hated to admit it Lizzy was the closest thing she had to a trustworthy friend at this point in time ”fine...meet me on the hangar dec by the static field, just you...and bring a bottle of something” Harry said in a tired voice, knowing that if she didn’t relent then she would just keep bothering her until she did.

She would hang up the call before Lizzy would have chance to say anything else and give the now empty bottle of whisky a wistful look before  heading towards the door, dropping the empty bottle into the bin as she went.

Entering the Black Hangar, a place that had long since become a kind of refuge for her, Harry would take a moment to savour the peace and quiet before shedding her uniform jacket and heading towards the nearest combat dummy, drawing her trench knife from its sheath as she went. By the time she was finished with it, the dummy had been utterly destroyed with its head lying several feet away from what was left of its body.

Sitting on the floor of the Black Hangar amidst the debris of the late combat dummy Harry would slowly and methodically run the whetstone along the length of her trench knife, sharpening it to a razor edge with the Udenese pair knives sitting on the floor beside her waiting their turn to be oiled and sharpened. She was feeling a little better now, though she supposed she really ought to find a better way of dealing with things...or at the very least less destructive!

Despite her violent outburst, or perhaps because of it, Harry still felt like something you would scrape from the underside of your shoe with her wondering what exactly it was she had done wrong to end up aimlessly drifting through life, surely there had to be more to life than this? She needed to find some kind of a purpose other than killing people.

Once she had finished sharpening her knives and had cleared away the broken training dummy she would slowly meander back towards the rec dec to kill a little more time.

 Entering the   hanger, Shadow  turns on  a few lights,  , the smell of  fresh leather  from the New   Dummies greeted  him.

  Going to the fridge he  pulls out   a  small pizza  and puts it in the Gamma  wave.. Takes off his   jacket and Tunic., and pounches up   some music.

 while the music  plays , the Pilto grabbed    a pair of  wooden practice   daggers,  and begins to   move  slow  at first, hitting  the   Dummies with   daggers  ,  kicks  and   Jump kicks... continuing  for  another  5 minutes  and then placed the  daggers  back in the  rack, and  grabbed a soda   to have  with the Pizza  as he  relaxes on the couch.

  The LC  Got a COM and Looked at it.. he  put the  empty box on the stack of others , and the few slices of   pizza in the fridge, then  ran up the  stairs    slipping on his  tunic  and jacket...

Zob swiped his keycard and walked on inside it had been a long while since he was in here, he hit the lights and made his way down to where the couch was and set down his equipment before making his way over to the armor rack that held the demon steel boarding armor, 'Once upon a time to think i considered wearing this armor a honor when i joined the Old Guard ages ago... now it just reminds me that im the most wanted demon in the history of the empire' a small chuckle escaped him as he headed over to the training dummy and began to practice his new and improved hand to hand skills.

As he striked the dummy memories of the past surfaced this caused his hits to ring loudly upon the dummy and after a few moments Zob sent a haymaker from the hells right at the skull breaking off a rather large chunk which no doubt would of lead to instantaneous death.

He then took a seat on the couch and caught his breath and after a bit he began to doze off.

As he was passing through the back he got himself a bin to carry a few of his weapons, he then swiped his black card and headed on inside and flicked on the lights, as he placed the weapons bin next to the workbench he turned on the radio, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuLMDvoshrk

First order of business was to maintenance his retractable blade gauntlet that he wore often on his forearm concealed under his clothes, reaching for the lubricant he made sure the blade mechanism was well lubricated before reattaching the weapon back onto his wrist, he then went over to the makeshift dummies and gave it a few stabs aiming for vital points before returning back to the desk to continue with the other tasks.

If he had to get confrontational with Angels on Etna he was gonna be ready, if being around Humans has taught him anything its that its better to play smarter not harder and cheat whenever possible.

  Flores  enters  The Black Hanger, she is a bit sweated up in   Hermes  work out gear and is carrying  a very nice  hardwood bow, and  a Metal  Aqra  bow... she  had  two quivers of  Arrows..

 She Saw  Zob, and   waved  witht he   wooden bow..Though Shadow  Might be here.. he  sorta Vanished   she  walked across the dec  to  the 'range'..need to get my practice in..can't  practice  on the Crew's range?  I'm not supposed to be good with a bow... don't ask me why,,i lettered  at the Academy!...

 she laid the  metal bow down,This  aqra  thing is a beat.... i want to use the same arrows  they use..but  the tech guys can't make the  arrow head's  spring out like  The Fish do?

 Shadow gave me this wood  bow from Bura?..he said some  guy named  'Commander Bond" bought it for me on Bura.. I never heard of the guy?.. I asked beth, she just giggle, she  said Commander Bond  has been around  since   The Hermes  was in new york!..anyway.. it feels good..strong..like it was made for me... I hope i get to try it out on Delta Night.

Zob turned his head when Flores entered, "Ah Flores what a pleasant surprise... and nothing wrong with using the bow i mean the Gava use them as well as the Udenese woman..." he then turned around in his chair to face Flores fully, "I'm sure i could be good with a bow if i just got the muscle memory down with some practice, but i like my bigger weapons small stuff is just getting awkward to carry but that's kinda out of my control... being demonkin and all that stuff"

 Flores  laughed,..Shadow  can shoot a bow..i mean?  he isn't  as good  as me  or  Frans?..we have Archery since  we were tots. with all that 'fancy school' training.... Not  much use for a Bow, when you're runnign around alleys , knifing mobsters, and cracking open Gangers's heads

  You should Give the Fish Bow a   try... I just  have  free arrows?..but they have Thiers attacked to  a flexible metal wire.. when they hit a target, they can pull them into the water  to   add to their creel...Fish folk's answer to  dfishing..i guess.. It has  a Hard Pull.. I have a steel shaft  got straight  througha Guy on Everest and went  2 inches deep into the wall behind him.

Zob stood up from the chair and made his way over to where Flores was setting up target practice, "Sure lets give this thing a shot..." he then picked up the fish bow along with an arrow, took aim at one of the targets and drew the bow back with fair ease before letting the arrow fly hitting the target dead center causing some serious damage before handing it back to her, "Pretty powerful weapon but its not my style... maybe if they designed a bow explicitly for me then id be willing to incorporate it into my kit"

  Flores smiled ..wel... each to thier own.. It comes in handy..well..sometime, Shadow doesn't trust himself to use it on an Op..or so he says. I think he just likes getting up-close.

Zob frowns a bit, "It's mostly the style of the bow really, i need to get something that is more custom tailored to my needs... and yeah he does like to get up close and do the dirty work then again so do i" and with a flick of his wrist the blade on the hidden gauntlet sprung forth for a moment before he quickly retracted it.

  Flores  fired an arrow   at Various  targets, hitting  around the throat and head... she  frowned when one  nit the chin.

  ..you know?..I don't  know  anything  about Alien History..if  we win this  war, there can be whole new  jobs opening for  History teachers, Lab Rats  and Bio-techs.... But i know this.... Paradise can give  us 100 times more Angel Steel then the Moons and give us  fresh bodies to thrown at the Empire... How's the Admiral  going to balance that, with them wanting   an 'equal Say".... 9 hells?  The Sanri  and Occui defer to us, and they been in it the whole damned  time/

Zob pulled up a chair and lounged back in it as he watched her shoot the targets, "That's the keyword... *Can* will they though not likely, Paradise is out for Paradise not for the betterment of the fleet... its gonna be a mess on Etna mark my words"

After a moment or two he rubbed his chin, "Assuming you survive the war whats your plan Flores?" he asked changing the subject entirely.

  Flores  chuckles  softly, depends on who else survives and if we win?..... Settling  down some where..maybe  with a Hot shot pilot?...but there's  a line for that...

  I don't even know if I'd  want to go back to Earth?.... I mean its home..or was. But Fuji and Bura  are more welcoming. The Deltas  seem nice, but  i'm not a pioneer..i need a town or city are ready built.... i'm not  tough enough to be planting   or herding.

Zob chuckles, "You really care for him don't you?" He asked as he thought about what he would possibly do, "I'm not sure Orria would enjoy living off the grid so maybe get myself a mansion on Fuji or one on Bura... other then that who knows"

  Flores  chuckles,..yeah..I guess i do?  he  stood up for me at the academyand that 'accident ' that happened to the instructor was very 'Delta Night' if you know what i mean... he asked  Captain Morris to sign me up when  Kase and  I came here with the EVOLs  when Lady was killed and they  Held   Blu's trail...Morris  didn't even question it.... He's made a positive impact on a lot of Ladies lives, and  never expected anything in return...there are headcases out there who don't like him..and that's cool...but? its a damn good barometer..if you find someone  who doesn't like the LC...damn good bet they aren't on our side...

 another  chuckle as she goes to retrieve the arrows .....Bura  would be good for Orria.... they'll be needing  'Beth Class'  COms folks there as they grow, she's not only learning from the ebst.. She's  learning  under fire.

   she  checks the  heads on the  arrows, as  she  gets  ready to  fire  another flight or two.....This is going to be a very interesting  Balll.....

Zob shrugged a bit as he thought it over, "When she comes of age and the war is over then she can make that decision for herself, as for Shadow i consider him a good friend a little unorthodox but his heart is always in the right place and thats what matters most"

After a bit he slid the chair back over to the workbench and continued working, "Just be sure to keep your sidearm and your knife handy... you are likely gonna need it at some point during this stay" he said as he worked on upgrades for the DT5.

  After  retrieving another flight of  arrows, Flores  went to the   fridge and go a Soda, asked  Zob if he wanted one, then walked over  and  sat by the table the Bos  and arrows   sat on.

 Us  Girls don't  get to carry sidearms  , in Angel Silk. but most have  knives  somewhere... Been in a few fights   in Angel silk, pretty tough  Material, But man? it shows  everything, so a Girl can't  put  much under it...

 she  smiles   at his take on Shadow.story goes, he  was a hard case before he ever got out of highschool... but he wasn't a punk Ganger..he laughs  at them..and  he wasn't a mobster..he Hunts them down  Ape Folk Hunt  creshians. He has this... I dunno?  Holy avenger
 thing going on..and he never forgets  where he came from.

  She looks up at the  creshian Fighter hanging from the ceiling Admiral hacks  Hammer  IV  and  a Largran fighters   facing the  closed  bay doors. we were on  the  beach, when they first Got Roll and Jax  and those kids?... Roll was  scared, and felt bad.. Shadow was treating them to chocolate bars  and telling them they had the run of the food  stalls.. and Roll?  I don't know why, I wasn't close   enough..but he was feeling really bad,  and Shadow handed him this ...candy Bar.. and he explained something to this  little kid, who ran towards his friends   yelling  'I'm Good  I'm Good"

Frans , Eckles  and Mara  were there   smiling and staring  at Shadow.. saying somehting  like " everyone  one the beach right now , wants to have your baby"... Shadow freaked  out  and went to get a drink...

 she snorts  and takes  another sip,..Don't know when it started, some dumbass started  calling us   girls  'cheerleaders'... I good with that..i mean. some of us  get some  'alone time' with him, but no one's  locked in..and...He'd never cheat one  whom ever he settled on either...But , losers  gotta lose ..right..

 then she  grins  as she gets  back up to  shoot  another flight...But  we'll be there, getting out of that Limo, doing our cheerleading thing, and never  have to worry about  feeling bad about it.

  Two arrows  in a heart beat span hit  the tared  it the chest, just left of center...

Zob stopped working on the handgun for a moment as recalled the battle down in the Stem, "I was fighting down on the ground when our group saved em and brought them back to the condo, was a nasty bit of business that outing"

He then turns back to face her for a moment accepting the soda, "I didn't think me and Melia would end up being together but... i am glad that things turned out how they did... we Demons who aren't complete bastards tend to only take one partner for life but a lot of that is due to having such a huge lifespan... the concept of spur of the moment acts of passion are still a rather odd concept to me"

After topping off the can of soda he did a trick shot and landed the can in the disposal unit, "My mentor said to me when i was first being trained thousands of years ago, Never forget what you are. The rest of the black will not. Wear it like armor, and it can never be used to hurt you"

   Flores   nodded  slowly as she let another  pair of  arrows  go, grouping them  with the first  2.

  Me?.. I'm a Rich Girl, who didn't like the  way poor  folks were treated.... Took  two poor guys  and one poor  girl  from New York, to save my butt from a lech  Instructor ... Money  could have bought  my way out of it... or  i simply could have  given in...  But you have some one  step up to the plate  for you, who shouldn't give one damn?...That's when you stick to principles..

Zob sighed a bit as he adjusted the mechanism in the DT5 slightly before putting it together again, "Me? I was an elite honor guard to the high king of the demons Xal La Kal... we were The Old Guard we had honor and principles but when Qer took the throne after her fathers passing all that changed for the worst..."

    She xat down again, checking the  heads on the arrows, Pulling the   small tool kid  from her pack , tightening  the  heads the  feathers  were a mix of  thin plastic, or real feathers  from some  bird -things  on bura

 well..all my creds do out here is get me decent food on shore leave..i don't even  need that  since the  LC has the Condo thing..your don't have to worry about guarding anyone
