Garrat notes the fleet splitting up.  He makes a concious memory on his chip of where the other groups are pointing in relation to their current position, though he is sure a latter correction will throw off any spy reports.

Xyran slowly walked into the area the quiet footsteps barely making a sound across the floor of the Observation Dec as he took a seat on one of the couches sipping on a cup of warm tea, "So whats your plan Garrat?" Xyran asked somewhat curiously.

   If Garrat could have learned what Xyran liked to eat in the morning from the rec dec he would have had that waiting.

   Garrat didn't hesiitate.  "I like your pulse riffles but them alone doesn't feel like enough considerin what we know about the demons.  I wanted to build an occasional use weapon into the bottom of the rifle to help with that."  He shows two separate plans to Xyran.  one is a pump action attachment that takes automatic clips, the other is a remaking of the pulse riffle so this can be plugged in.
   It is obvious that the attachment system is designed to allow for different items to be swapped out in the future but there are some sketches of basic designs in adjacent files that have it as a permanent fixture.  The redesign for the plasma riffle is structural alone.  Garrat obviously chose not to mess with the components though Xyran could see [with his experiance]that the change in structural design made it wider but allowed for improvement.

   The shot gun part was simple but not crude. Little alterations in the design showed a higher understanding of complexity than was included.  It could be easily removed field stripped and cleaned, and was unlikely to jam.  Notes said that it could be redesigned to use existing parts

   This model was designed  to take larger clips carrying Garrat's eight inch rounds and Garrat shows xyran how if the rounds produced for his shot pistol were made a mm or 2 larger they could be used with this upgrade to fire grenades, smoke bombs, non lethal rounds and even flares. [see chr description] His design also mentioned looking into designing relay transmitters and other sensor systems that could help cover one's back once we left a room.  just fire it into a corner and leave it there with the but end sticking out.

   When the call came through about the countdown he cursed.  "Just enough time for me to finish the gunsmithin but not enough finish the whole thing off. Anyway this should have the stopin power of savin our boys from gettin over run."

Xyran looked for the plans and turned to Garrat, "Sounds like a solid plan you have going but what do you need me for exactly?"

Xyran then stepped in, "If this isn't the type of thing your used to doing you had best let me handle it... besides we are pressed for time, upload the schematics to my datapad and ill get it all finished within the hour for you" Xyran was a miracle worker combat tech and could get the job done fast and efficiently.

   With  Cup of Coffee in hand and  two SEC troopers with Him, Admiral  HAck came down to the Observation Dec, to watch the approach to Fuji. Right now, It was a large twinkling speck, reflecting the  Light from star it orbited.

  The troopers Cleared a section of any crew or Civies  and set Up a Lap top and Vid boards. HAck took  as Seat and  said Into His COM,..Hack Here In the OB Dec..feed me  anything that's going on...

 Hack sat there , he motioned for the SEC troopers to sit as well, One sat on the window ledge looking out at the stars, the other  stood  guard as she smiled but shook her head.

 Hack listened to the COM traffic as his eyes watched Fuji grow...ever  so slowly... as they neared it.

  Beth? Make certain, Packrat understands the  Value of the package...the others are just icing on the cake...

 Aye, Sir..already done, Sir....

  Hack  COMed the  Team on  Fuji , through Beth's systems,Ok , Lads  and LAdies? The Hermes is abut 9 hours out...In 8 hours , Vendors  will begin to  open thier  launch windows to send shuttles to  buy, sell or  fill orders  for the Fleet and ships..THAT...is when you we leave  Manny's in a Vendor's shuttle..with out package.... I will have some distractions  set up, to  keep folks from paying too much attention to the Goings on down there...Carry on....

Roy took advantage of the open comm.  "The dog's in the pound, never getting back out.  Just trying to break up the pack a little bit more.  The kennel's still in one piece, I'm not sure how many more mutts are inside."

He'd hoped to have more to report by this point...but he'd taken pains to stay out of the limelight, including letting someone else take point for the mission.  He just hoped the progress was enough.

"Package is en route...not sure of their status.  The dog-catchers got a little chewed up, though..."

  HAck Listens  to Garrat and Roy's COMs. He chuckles a bit to himself and gives a shake of his head.

 Hit the Button to SEC he says,..Lt Morrow? You can kill folks   light  years away with a computer...but you can't  get me one live  feed to the  Damn FUJI Grotto?


 Beth's Voice  came  back, a Bit terse,Aye  Admiral  I can do that. But...I cannot get live  feeds from dead Camera's Gangs  down there don't like  eyeballs on them while they work...

 Understood  LT...sooner or later  FUJI SEC is going to have to go dpown there...try to HAck a FUJI SEC Cam...

Christmas is coming early folks, she said in the  UniCom for the Hermes crew and the crew she came down with to hear.  Heading to the North Pole and drop the packages off at Santa.

  Acknowledged ..make certain presents  are  wrapped and secure

  The  Carrier/station was as Big as a softball now. the Blinking Lights  of Apollo  could be seen as  she circled the Station. Somewhere out there were the destroyers  and another Cap  ship.

  Hack turned to look out the  sides of the  windows, and  the vast might of the detla  fleet was spread out..The destroyers  peeling off to allow The Hermes to be the First one into port.

  Like wise, the Tortugan fleet  flashed their lights  as  did the Skith and the EVOLs as the peeled off to head to  Bura  Sector and the battle that was being waged there.

 One of the women tending the bar , brought HAck another Cup of Coffee, his smile  and nod of thanks made her feel good as she went back to work. Hack said into All COMs....Fleet is dispersing....The Hermes should be docked in....3 hours...be ready to move...

  About 1 1/2 hours before  Dock time, Kray and HAnnah enter the  Observation Dec. The  Hermes SEC Guards  let them in without a second glance.

  Admiral?  We are  ready....but...um...what are  we supposed to do?

 Hack stood Up  and turned from the  Window. Fuji was Huge  now...in another Hour, they wouldn't be able to see the top or Bottom, Until the  rose up to Dock at the Uppers.

 Why?...My boy? YOu two are the DArlings of the ESN....and  the Fuji System has turned out  new   sets of figures...everyone and thier brother are going to want to get you to sign figures, Boxes, pictures....  he turned to  Hannah and added,..the Time spent  with  Jonny Blu won't hurt either...the  Fans will be glad to see you again.

 With a  brush of his hand through his hair, Shadow asks,..all well and good..but...why?

 Because....we  are returning to Fuji after  saving  the Angel Homeworld, whether they like it or Not...its  what we did....now?  You couple  that with You two greeting   the FAns and signing stuff?...Can't think of a better  distraction then that...can you?


 Distraction?...oh?.....The Grotto!

 Hack turned back with a  Smile,Aye, the Grotto...didn't go as we planned...seems  it never does...but  we got  what we came for, ...we just got to make sure no one knows we were there...

 they came up the stairs, there was only one other peson on the OB Dec...Capt Morris he was drinking some Coffee as he sat by the  Huge windows.

  Kray  went to the  bar  and Poured a shot of whiskey for Naomi, and  fixed a Cup of Coffee for himself...then  Nodded for her to go by the window.

 ...We may  as well see them Off....Didn't  go quite as  I planned, I'm afraid.....

 Capt  Morris spoke up,  Beth said to tell you she's  ready......

 Shadow smiled a bit as he drank his coffee....

   Bo wanders in behind them.  He stops looking at the massive window almost a little shocked by the panoramic view of space.

Naomi looked to Shadow smiling as she took the whiskey going to the window.  She glared seeing Rawlings without worries.  Her jaw clenched as she drank the whiskey. "I can't believe that bastard gets to walk tall out of here.  I would have loved to see him burn."  She slams her hand up on the glass being the only thing she can do directed at Rawlings.  Angrily she watches.

    Bo remembers the EDT they took at the mansion.  "I could always dress Black Betty up as a demon ship and attack them.  After all, they may have an agreement with Hack, that doesn't mean they have an agreement with the Porcine, or anyone else." he steps up to the window, looks out for a moment, and then turns back to Kray.  "Or did you leak that Hack, or someone important to Delta fleet was on that shuttle so the bounty would take care of the rest?"

  Morris Looked Up  at Shadow and smiled a  bit, then  looked to Bo and  just shook his head  with  his  eyes closed, and  returned to Looking  out the Glass.

 Any of you ever Fish? When the Angels  tore the Battery down in New York to make the shipyard for laying the Hermes Keel?...I would hand  around ..alot...sometimes  Me and Roles would go fishing. We caught  some nice ones...we always let them go though, nether of us liked fish, we just Like to catch them....

  Shadow  handed  the COM to Naomi with a smile..When it Beeps...you say to Rawlings   whatever you want...you'll have ..say..one sentence worth....

 He turned a bit to Bo , and Motioned to the bar...the thing about fishing? You need  the right bait, for the right  fish.....

   The   FUJI SEC SHuttle left the Hermes, and was Just coming into View......
