Naomi was getting agitated at the site of how they were acting in front of Admiral Hack.  They were too cocky for their own good.  She couldn't stand watching them smirking.  When Shadow hands her the COM she looks to him questioningly.  What could she say with one sentence?  However, wasn't she past words at this point desiring the look of fear and pain from Rawlings.  She would relish that.
Naomi stared at the COM as if it was Rawling's smirking face.  She knew what she would say once the music inspired her.  When the COM beeped she spoke, "Go where ever you will, but I'll be the one who will send you to the deepest of hells erbärmlich Parasiten ((Pathetic Parasite))."
Once said she turns towards the bar refilling her shot glass with more whiskey taking another hit before watching the damn shuttle depart.
She pours another drink as she looks to Shadow, "Is this all real?  We are just letting them go after all they have done or possibly will do?  I don't know if I can just stand here while they walk away all high and mighty."
Naomi looks at her glass wondering if this will be enough to sedate her as she types something into her COM.

  The  Music  still played...when the Black was Lit Up  By a Hugh Fireball...over the COM Naomi could here the screams of Pain and surprise...until it was cut short by the explosion...

  Captain Morris Put His  empty Cup on the sideboard, Gave   Shadow a pat on the shoulder..then Looked at Naomi,Well Done , Weske....  And He left the OB Dec.

 Kray leaned on the  window ledge  watching   bright burning parts of the  big Ugly floating about, as Tenders   closed in on the salvage like  magnets.

Naomi watches the explosion while listening on the COM.  She wasn't quite sure how it happened or whether it was real or not, but her face lit up like a kid at Christmas.  She couldn't help smiling as Morris congratulated her while she started jumping up and down running over to Shadow giving him a big hug knowing in some small way he personally answered her wishes.
"Thank you Shadow." She lets him go suddenly realizing her actions were not appropriate.  However, she kept her huge grin on feeling the overwhelming relief that justice was served in her favor.

 Shadow smiled    at the Hug,..when i was young, a wise  fellow  took me under his wing. used to teach me , important stuff...  he shrugged,..important to me , at least. He told me this story of fire fighters, in the old days...a forest fire  would break  out, so the   people would get ahead of it...Cut  down some trees and then set them on fire....the  two fires would meet...and conusme each other...The term, 'fighting Fire, with fire' comes from that....Thaat's what we do...there is no right ...no wrong, there is only stopping the Evil that is destroying the galaxy...keep that in mind, next time you meet someone, from EDT...

Two Moons   circle  Bura, both..it is learned, are rich in Angelsteel...FUJI and Everest have already begun setting up Mining, witht he Ore made into Ingots on the Moons  and shipped out  to the Carrier stations and colonies . Bura, herself has begun small mining  but as more Colonists arrive, they will recruit more  miners.

  Hack  points to a Bright spot that is almost entering the darkness of night,..That's the Mountain...and  about one fingernail to the  wesy...is where  Shadow  got Blu...

 Si smiled,So? You  fleet saves a Planet cripples the enemy..and you take satisfaction in one enemy pilot who was killed?

 Nade's voice  is soft, but has a royal texture,..and, Admiral Hack. Should we  say..right here and  Now, that we won't be joining you..that we will be fighting  you?

  and Two shuttles   being caught on Cams by people on the Ground..One  a Cargo shuttle with  one gun Bubble, the  other a Yellow   Felrite personal shuttle.

 Two Fighters  closed in..

  all the COMs  were being piped through..News casters , pilots  and SEC..oddly enough, No ESN Coms  were coming through?

 Nade was almost  ready to Pounce on Hack...Ori was none  to happy but he knew how many guns were in this room...You Bring us here..on the pretense of Peace..and attack our  planet?..how dare you!


 Ori   Grasps  Nade's arm, she jerks it away, and he bows his  head respectfully...but says, Your Highness? I think we will hear the reason....it does us no good to attack and die, this far from home..

 Hack points at Ori, I knew I liked you...Now...Here is the  thing..Total war..has no rules..what rules are  there come from here... he pounds his chest....the attacks were set up, and Launched, before our Talks started....the next thing?..we attacked ESN enemies..that happen to be on your planet. except for the  stolen shuttle..the only  Felrites who were harmed..or killed... he shrugs, might be talking  about dumping over a glass of soda...were those who worked  with..or for..the EVOLs.Once the Bodies  are counted up...you should see  Nickeson, Wess, and Blankenship among the dead..

 Pointing at the screen, Hack says...Indeed...it could not be helped, nor...quite frankly, do i care..you see..we had alot of  Humans die when the EVOLs attacked the ships that were Unarmed and  Med-tech ships...This happened before  , with the demons..we used to leave Med-tech  ships  go...not anymore...not my fault...if you push us, we push  back...and  we push very..very hard..

 ..Once that is  done?..our  aircraft will fly over   the surface, dropping bombs, shooting anything  that moves or looks  like a target...say?..two or three days of that....


 he frowns,Somewhere in that time frame, we will have  to pull half the ships out to  Kill off the demon task force...then..once those ships  return..we will start dropping the  transport shuttles...In 20 hours, there will be close to 500,000 ESN troops..of  many, many races...including  the Cannibal Apes, the  ape men, and the men from the delta Planets

  You pay your  taxes to the AP...they aren't burdansome..they are for helping run the union...you will be asked  for 2  ships to Join our  fleet...by being  an AP  planet, your  home will also be   a place for  ships to take shore leave, adding even more credits to your  coffers..and?.. there will be  patrols , Just outside your  space..to help keep Demons and thier  people from attacking you...if they  launch and assault..we go to war with you..since , you will be one of us.

So..my people died..your enemies  died..and  those people  in the shuttles will dies, just to seal peace?

 ..I would suggest,  Your Highness,  That you send  word to  Zolth and  give any EVOLs, EDT and demons or demon allies 12  hours to leave your planet.  The Fleet will reach Zolth I roughly 9 hours...WE..and I will repat this..WE will NOT...and you may put that in your nmissive...we will shot to  kill...shot  on sight..any EVOLs, EDT or  Demon allies unless they are Surrending in such a way, that there can be no misunderstanding...And, as barbaric as this sounds..If I hear word, from ant where  , that any EVOL or EDT used  surrender as a ruse?..Then we will hunt them to extinction...

   Nade Nodded to Ori who held Up his COM , Hack  smiled  and Ori  COMed his  Home world...It took 5 minutes or so for Ori to send the message..in that 5 minutes Zolth became a very bad place  to be  on the Empire's side...

Roy acknowledged the introductions as appropriate, maintaining a relaxed, easy stance that was balanced at the edge of action.  When the question turned to him, he met the Felrites gaze with an even look.  "I can't speak for the other elements of the operation, as we were operating autonomously...but my operation took great pains to minimize Felrite casualties.  We went down there after Nickerson.  He was the enemy.  The Felrites weren't."

He sighed and added, "There were some casualties that couldn't be avoided without compromising our operational security.  At least on Felrite was in Nickerson's party and took up arms, and also had to be taken out.  But I did everything I could think of to keep noncombatants out of the line of fire."

He looked first at the Felrite general, and then their...queen?..., and added, "It wasn't their fight."

   The felrite   general looked displeased,..so , what you are saying, those you  killed did not stand a Chance?


 Shadow reacted, he leveled his  Gaze at the Proud old warrior, Hack was  Trying to get his attention, If Kray saw it , he didn't care.

 I am saying two things,  Frist, we  came to your planet to  Kill traitors to our race, people who will, and have..turned innccent people over to  the demons and thier allies... I am saying, that those  with them  were consider  enemies....

 ..As for your  second question...They didn't have a chance in the 9 hells...had we  wanted to hurt   the the  Felrites,  we would  still be there..and there would have  been alot More  Damage...alot more...dead.

Roy drew himself up to his full height...which only shifted his appearance a fraction of an inch from the ready posture he'd been holding, and could have looked comical next to the Felrite general...were it not for the steely look in his eye and the set of his jaw.

"General, the reason the Demons are having a hard time fighting us is because we don't show up and let them know we're there and 'give them a chance'.  We hit hard, we hit fast, and unless we're given a good reason, we're brutally efficient.  No, your people didn't have a chance...because giving them a chance would have given them an option to sound an alarm, and that would have brought even more of your people that we would have had to kill.  And we didn't running around slaughtering everyone who saw us.  But the ones who were unfortunate enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and weren't on their way somewhere else?  They died quickly and quietly so that a lot of others wouldn't have to die, as well."

He met the Felrites' gazes, unflinchingly, and his voice took on a shadow of regret.  "I take no pleasure in reporting the death of anyone who wasn't on our target list.  I went to great lengths to try and avoid having to do so.  But when you've got a live operation and a timetable that has to be met, you have to make hard choices...and if there's a noncombatant in the area, armed and potentially dangerous and likely to compromise the mission, you better believe I'm going to remove that risk factor, especially when my target is an individual who has displayed such utter treachery as the ones we were after.<blue>"

 The LArgan and Birds  go way back...they have been friends..perhaps  as long as the Angels first started seeding Earth....you rarely find  one without the other....IF...you every have to fight Avains on the ground.....good luck...Talons and Beaks    ,  and they can use  weapons....good thing they aren't real Bright.....well..you'll have to look Up the  lists on  Dr Henry's  site....the leaders are geniuses  with a taste for infant flesh..
