Burian troopers   watched the   ship land, they were more then a little concerned  that a LArgran Vessel  landed   with in the Fleet cover  shell.

 When they saw  a LArgran operating  a Mech, they had  weapons  ready.

  some of the locals  stopped and started.. some moved off in fear,  The Offier  in charge was on his COM giving a  report   about  a Non-military   LArgran Vessel has set  down.

 In the other  town,   the people  were  getting into to the   Burian  culture , watchign  dances... off to the  side   Burians and and HAlf Burians were   giving archery  lessons and putting on  shows.

 Jax  and Sneak Looked at Kira, they Both nodded to her  as she  said  about the   rings. Jax looked at the  Burian woman and said,..this is the first real planet  we have ever  been on!.. we  were on Etna  since...I dunno..ever?.. We are on the Hermes  now..

 The  woman  listened to them  and smiled,..you like, our planet?

 Sneak  nodded rapidly,yes  Ma'am! everything is so Green!.. so many trees....  I hpe  we  get to see it  in the daylight tomorrow..it was getting dark when we came down..

 The woman  Looked at Kira and Opened a Case of  Rings  with   dainty  flowers.. coiled   snake-like beasts.. bands  with   gem ships  in  for color.. Then she said,..the    Palace folks.. they want you to come  down  as  sun is  setting... the lights of the   towns  and Palace, with the  darkening sky  and forsts..make for pretty picture

  Jax  Looked at  Sneak,Pick something.. I'll get it for you...

 Sneak  was shocked... these kind of things they used to have to steal..but  now.. they could   buy things!... Things they could  Keep!.I Like that  Necklace  with the   Green dragon on it..

 the  woman  hold the dainty   dragon, lit  was  roarings   tiny chips of  gem for tiny eyes...this  creature is  a Nak.... a real nak..can grow to 3   feet long.. they attack..almost anything, those that are  hatched  by trainers..have them  as   watch  animals.. they become very Loyal.. they a firece  beasts..in deed...

  Jax  says,we have a LArg on our  ship..he  is smaller then most LArgs..but he  is  pretty mean when he wants to be.

The woman pish-pahs.....Largs?  we have heard of them... Naks are  far  more   feared here... she smiles,..the necklace..its is  fine  Burian silver  chain.. Burian emerald  with   dimond chips... for you 50 Creds...

 Both Jax  and   Sneak frowned...oh..  well I could get it but i only brought  so many creds...I didn't  get my next pay yet....  sneak  just shook her head  at the necklace.. Jax  looked broken hearted.

 ..yeah..but   I got pretty badly hurt.. i got   another one when they boarder the Hermes.. but i didn't get to kill him, just wounded him real bad... lots of  my  shipmates  killed lots more then that!

  The Woman  takes the   necklace  and Gives it to Sneak.....yuour  man is Young.. Lik Nak Puppy!.. and he killed  Vampics....  LA-DS  smiled  and  went on her  way to   check out the Food  area around the  'new  icecream table"

 Shadow  danced   with Beth, then a faster   song  came On  and   Flores   ..'nudged '..abby out to him.. and shadow   tried his best to dance.

 A slow  song came on and Flores stepped  up  with a sneaky grin, as she was counting the   song  , so she  knew when a slow on came on.

 Lyri   was   about  HAlf finishe with her  Sandwich, she tried to talk around the bite,.. yeah?  Sure?... I need a  drink anyway.. this meat is   great..but it  needs   something to wash it  down..

  Lyri meandered over to Lilit  and began  speaking  with her. The  warlord   stiffened  a bit as    Lyri talked  she   kept  a  drink by her  mouth  so it would  be next to impossible  to read lips, not that any one should be trying?

  After a Moment  Lilit  walked over  to  dusk  and Pointed to Shade  and Oria    the warlord  Skipping   the Line and getting   shakes  for all  4 of them  as   Dusk sat down by her brother  and chatted with   Orria   gushing over   Orria's unifrom. Lilit  was listening to   Shade  talk about his  running in the tunnels  and playing football

 returning  with he r drink and Minus her  finished sandwich, Lyri said,..the word is...  The board  and a few others  will have to go to  the High Chamber  and talk about   tomorrow's  activities .. then return for the rest of the party.. So.. before some one else  decides  to dance with you... How  about  a Dance, SM? her  face was calm, her  smile  bright, but she has been doing this  for over   5 years now...

Kira smiled at Morgan she looked over the rings and decided on a pair of rings that had a serpent on them she got one for herself and the other for Morgan when it came time to pay the Burian craftswoman Kira had it covered and insisted Morgan save his credits she even covered the other 30 credits to make up the difference for the necklace, "Hey Jax don't run off just yet!" she called out to him.

After paying for the rings she gave one to Morgan the other she put on her finger and smiled pleased with the craftsmanship.

  Jax  ans Sneak stopped

 Morgan  Looks   at the  ring, he hand to slip it on his  little  finger,..I might have to  put this on with my dog tags.... But i like the snakes...

  Lucky was  walking   around, he stopped  by the square  , watching   Burians  Jugglers  and  green-Half angel  dancers.. there were small furry  beasts   that a pair  of Burians  had  doing tricks , Hoping through   rings and   finding Ball that they threw  to   people watching  with out the  little beasties knowing,  the  beasties   found the balls  every time!

Kira moved over to Jax with purpose when she reached them she fished inside her outfit and handed Jax 350 in credits placing it into his hands, "Here is some spending credits you can pay me back when your pay comes in... we won't be back here for a long time most likely, don't let a little thing like credits stop you both from having the time of your lives" She smiled at both Jax and Sneak.

  Jax  eyes  got  Big,..Ma'am?  I have  15o creds?.. i  didn';t  want to spend that much on somethign right away..I figure food  and stuff  would be alot?...  I can't  take Your creds?...we won't get  paid  for  another week!

 he looked  like he was  struggling, he wanted to show  Sneak a good  time, but he didn't  want to take  Kira's creds from her.

Kira smiled he was a good kid but she insisted, "Its not gonna hurt for me to loan you credits during a rare opportunity as this... my father Xyran when he was alive told me never to pass up a good thing and you shouldn't either, please Jax I insist take it" her words were kind and sincere.

 Th Pair  went off    smile and chattering  as they went to watch some of the  shows.

Orria smiled at Dusk, and complimented her dress in the Verian language, though her grasp was still elementary at best. It was unfortunate because Orria's Sanri was coming along much more nicely. Orria talked to Dusk about how she had to do school, and couldn't help out in battles and how she wanted to help Beth since she wasn't allowed to go on boarding parties.

Nodded, and sniffled once more as she brought her errant nose under control. "Okay, I think  I can do this. I hope I haven't ruined your evenings." She says to Lizzy and Harry. She stands taking a few deep breaths, glancing in the mirror, and frowns at her puffy redrimmed eyes. It's a red that doesn't blend well with the makeup, and there's little she can do about it.

She starts by heading back outside, fairly certain Zob wouldn't have gone inside after her melt down. Again its the sweet smell of his cigars that reveals her suspicions to be true. "hey, I'm..." She pauses feeling a lot more in control and relaxed after the cry, "I like you too, I hope I didn't ruin everything. I had thought you were mad at me, and when you said you liked me it was a lot to process, and a lot of feelings to try and experience all at the same time." Despite the more balanced feeling a little voice asks in the back of her head, why would he like someone broken like you?

  The Tall Angel  Looked off  for a second  as he  and  Cat  danced ,well...  when i was  growing up, we  saw shuttles   from the howeworld heading to the   Demon  pickets ..knowing out people were being fend to the Demons, because  the Homeworld was  afraid to fight  them on  our own soil...

 ..Then words starts  comign through  the Vids..breaking through the  Empire's   blackout ... that humans...Humans,,were beating  the  Demons... and then..out of now where.. come the Delta fleet.. about  half  the  size of the  Delta fleet now.. they pounded  the Empire, and  freed Paradise   and our  moons... and still, the  homeworld  won't help, but t he Moons  joined the APF  as our own group.... The war  won't  end tomorrow..but  we  are closer to it  then we  were  a few years ago

Zob stopped and turned to Melia, "I'm happy to see you are doing better" he smiled as he blew the smoke away from her, "You didn't ruin anything Melia i understand its a lot to take in... i just hope you will give me a chance, for now how about a dance?" he offered to her.

Melia blushes and smiles a little nervously, I think I can manage that without crying and turning into a sobbing mess. she steps a little closer in her own way savoring the smell of Zobs unique cigars, stil finding the enjoyment slightly odd but all the same it's comforting.  As to the chance as long as you are willing to put up with this mess of a person. I think a chance is in order" she says gesturing to herself, and waiting for Zob to finish his cigar before walking back to the ball with him

Kira smiled as he returned the hug Sneak gave her then they decided to wander off to explore the town it was then she turned to Morgan, "They are good kids they deserve to have a good time and not have to worry about things"

It was then she looked off to the vendor, "We should find a nice place to crash for the night and get some of that green beer"

Roy extended a hand to Lyri.  "My pleasure, Master Chief," he answered.  While he was certain there was more going on than just an invitation to dance, his answer was true...while he would never entertain the notion of a relationship with Lyri, she was a beautiful woman and a better dancer on her worst days than Roy would ever be.

They moved through the somewhat-thinned crowd, out to the dance floor.

Zob smiled brightly and quickly finished off the smokewood cigar before taking her by the arm, "Alright shall we?" they then walked back into the ball together.

Upon entering back inside he opted to lead her out to the dance floor where they played a slow song, he had no words that needed to be said he just enjoyed the moment as they danced together.

"Hope it tastes as good as it looks, Mitch" she said as he led her to the table of various Burian delicacies.  There were plates at the end of the banked tables.  It is all as bright and colorful as the foliage.  "This place is so beautiful, like truly being in a fantasy 'Garden of Eden'"  Mitch ahead of her in the line.  She picked a few things from the different chafers and plates.  Thin cuts of a bright yellow meat, that she found out from a server was a rather common 'fish' like creature.  Still she also thought it may have been misunderstood, perhaps like a snail? she thought.  It was thinly cut, like a very thinly slice of sushi tuna.  Various fruits, from bluish grapes in a broth of some sort of herbed wine.  Greenish fruit that had scorch marks from cooked on flames.  There was a tannish meat seasoned with various herbs and seasonings.  "It is nearly to beautiful to eat.  The bounty here is unbelievable" she smiled a thank you to the Burian help serve.  She looked the male over a moment or two before continuing along the line.

   Mitch   took a page from Lyri's  book, getting   some  bread and  making a  Burian beef snadwich with..something that looked like a  tomato on it.. there was a  reddish-brown sauce  on it, that  was  as close to  ketchup as he  could find.

  he grabbed  two, golfball  sized green orbs.. and  found out they were hardboiled  eggs.

 he looked at the meat..and then the eggs.....you don't thing that book guy ever came out here..do you?

  Lyri    danced with  Roy  she laid her head on his shoulder  so her  head was facing in  as she talked softly,..There is  another slow dance  coming up... Lilit  will ask to have the dance..., she wanted to do it now, because  she doesn't know when we are going to be called into the  meeting...  when her  information was passed on, she just  continued to  enjoy the  dance.

  Shadow  finished  his   dances  with   the three ladies, and    a slow dance with  Frans , who hand accidently  bumped into him, they both shrugged  and danced.. when  that  song was  done, Shadow  went to check on  LArry and   Shade...

 Lilit approached   Roy and  Lyri  for  the next dance.

 Larry was watching people as they walked  passed.. Gorgo, not used to the routine. stayed  coiled up.. Mila  sat  and  watched... Now  and then , one of the Hermes crew  would  'drop ' a  chunk of  meat on the into Larry's  Box.. he  would share with the others.. Giving Mila  first, then  Gorgo..then himself

 The Admiral was movign through teh crowds, talking to   Crew and Burians  alike... it could be noted  he  had a Shake in his hand.

Roy nodded as Lyri 3xplained about Lilit, and stepped back when the song ended, with a 'thank you' and a bow to kiss the back of her hand as Lilit approached.

"Ah, excuse me, Master Chief...duty calls," he said, with an apologetic grin, before turning to Lilit, nodding an agreement to her request for a dance.

Thankfully wouldn't take long for Lizzy to calm Melia down and then reapply her makeup using a small compact within her garter, giving Harry a tantalising glimpse of the lacy red underwear she was wearing. Although there was nothing they could do about the redness in her eyes it was no longer quite so obvious that she'd been crying "Don't be silly, this is what girl friends are for" Harry said, quickly brushing aside the foolish notion that Melia had ruined her evening.

With Melia leaving to speak with Zob, Harry would gently take hold of Lizzy's wrist "Oh Lizzy before you go I've got some questions about my makeup" Harry said in a cheerful voice "you see I was just wondering if..." the door would gently close as Melia left the room at which point Harry would pull Lizzy in close and kiss her "you've been a bad girl, using my baby sister to make me jealous" she whispered before kissing her again, being very careful not to smear their makeup before breaking off the kiss and simply holding her as she spoke "you're amazing, you know that right? I wouldn't have had a clue on how to calm her down" she confessed before chuckling softly "Melia and Zob...who'd have thought it? Though you do realise you're going to need a new escort right?"

Henry came over to make sure that the animals were having a good time and had all that they needed. He gave Larry a good headrub, and ruffled Mila's ears. He still wasn't sure what, if any, caresses Gorgo liked.

"Val, are you hungry? Why don't you sort out a couple of plates for us while I see to Mila, Larry and Gorgo here..."

He looked round for Nina but couldn't spot her. Still, he knew Gorgo enjoyed chunks of meat, so he made sure that the feathered snake, as well as the other two, were supplied.

Feeling just a little dis-heartened by the entire experience surrounding Shadow, Isobel would return to the buffet tables and retrieve another glass of wine, finding the floral scents and flavours of the pale green liquid to be rather enjoyable.

Alone in a crowd of people Isobel would watch as everyone else danced and talked with one another, with it clear that many of them had grown rather close to one another as a result of serving together on the Hermes leaving Isobel; who was not only the new girl but had the added disadvantage of being a reporter, the unenviable task of trying to break into one of the many close knit cliques around her if she wanted someone to talk to tonight.

It was just as she was slowly resigning herself to the fact that she'd probably end up spending the rest of the evening alone in her room once she'd got one more quick interview with the Admiral or another high ranking officer done so as to complete her quota that she would spot an older gentleman tending to a small cluster of animals or rather she spotted the dog whose ear he was currently scratching. Cautiously approaching she'd smile at what had to be the first dog she'd seen since leaving Earth before speaking to who she presumed to be the dogs owner "Excuse me, is this your doggy? If so may I say she looks lovely"

  Lilit began  the Dance, slightly taller  then  Roy,   as they   move a bit fi=uther  from the  tables, the warlord asked,...MAster Chief  Mullins said yu can some concerns about LT Tiek... he  is one of the Hold overs  from our  first Crew, when  we   tried to defend Vera  during the BAttle of  The Line.

 Larry Thumped his tail, at the  head  rub, then thumped faster   as  meat was  brought over to them.

 Gorgo looked about , still slightly coiled   but  seemed to nod  his head to  Herny as  food   was  paced in the box.

 Val  returned  with   some cuts  of meat, dabs of sauces , a fork for each and somethign that looked  like mashed potatoes, save for,they were blue.

Then Harry will kiss her again, Lizzy wanted to rip Harry's dress off and have fun right here but she stopped herself.

 Lizzy stood there not knowing what is up with harry, one moment she wants to be just friends then the next she kisses Lizzy. Then when Harry compliments her she says," Thank you Harry I just like helping people, Harry I do know a lot about loosing control of emotions so I did have a inside on helping Melia. 

 Lizzy then said after Harry brought up she would need a new Escort for the rest of the party. Lizzy will stand up fix her dress and say," Well I have Karl waiting for a dance, then I would love a dance with my best friend, and Harry come on me looking like this and wearing this dress I could get a escort in a few minuites I think." Lizzy chuckles at that, she will give Harry a kiss being careful of their makeup then caress her cute butt and say," Shall we get to the guys before we stay in here to long, thank you for helping me with Melia. " Lizzy will then head out of the Ladies room and head for Karl and Will.

Melia followed Zob out to the dance floor, this time dancing she closed the distance standing closer to Zob. She was still nervous, but the strength in his arms felt the smell of the fresh cigar smoke was more a comfort.

She danced more easily, than before, her heart beat in her chest, and Zob's hand felt hot on her side wrapping around her back.
