Re: Chapter 2: The Ancient Cycle
Inside lies a small metal chest at the foot of a stone statue coated in spider webs. The statue is of a horned humanoid of some kind.
The chest is closed, but one of you gingerly opens it.
Inside are some crushed bottles and stained scrolls. One has a White ribbon and the another a Black ribbon. There is a third scroll that looks especially dank. It has been flattened and isn't tied at all.
After picking up the scrolls, you realize there used to be quite a few of them in this chest in a large stack, possibly upwards of 30. It seems the three on top were the only ones to not be coated in whatever used to be in the bottles, thereby saving them, barely.

I will roll for you if you've not responded (probably can't) by the time the other two have.][Private to VIL: Roll 1d2. Post your result in the OOC thread.]
Inside is also a large diamond. Unfortunately, it looks like one of the points of it has been chipped off.
VIL opens the musty, flattened scroll. It is a scroll of Regen. [Private to VIL: Level after next, Red Mage! pfffft for slow spell progression, neener neener.]
ZEIG opens the scrolls with the white ribbon, and sees that it is a scroll of Bar-element.
DAI opens the one with the black ribbon and recognizes it as a scroll of Frost.
