[Private to JACK: Your description of movement exceeds 35'. You could, however, simply walk through the chocobo's squares and arrive in that position. If you were wanting to walk past the goblin for some reason, please let me know and we can edit the posts.] JACK heads up to the front of the pack and goes on Total Defense. The bound up soldier sees JACK run away and immediately begins running (Run action) the opposite direction down the road as quickly as he can. He makes it 120' or 24 squares south of his previous position. Sara stays where she is and attempts to calm the chocobos again. 21:10, Today: teslas rolled 9 using 1d20+4. 10 for "C". 21:10, Today: teslas rolled 24 using 1d20+4. DC 10 for "c". She then exclaims out to DAI, "I couldn't calm one down. They will try run off with the prisoners if they aren't sent away!" She makes it clear that she could not calm down chocobo "C". Goblin #3 runs away (double Move) and Goblin #1 follows (Withdraw action). [Private to DAI: You get an attack of opportunity against goblin #3 if you wish to take it, but you get all sorts of heinous penalties.] The spider in the distance (%) charges up (Charge action) and bites the goblin on the ground. If it wasn't dead before, it almost surely is now. Spider (#) moves down and bites at VIL, but instead bites his longsword, burning the inside of its mouth rather badly. 21:18, Today: teslas rolled 11 using 1d20+4. 21:18, Today: teslas rolled 5 using 1d20+4. 21:18, Today: teslas rolled 6 using 1d6. Spider (@) runs up to JACK and ZEIG, looking at them with its eight, massive eyes and lets out a squeal. The dying spider ($) makes a desperate attempt to bite VIL's unarmored and off-balance body, nearly wounding him horribly. 21:22, Today: teslas rolled 8 using 1d6+3. 21:22, Today: teslas rolled 10 using 1d20+4. confirm. 21:21, Today: teslas rolled 24 using 1d20+4. VIL feels the bite site burning feverishly. [Private to ZEIG: You know that venom was almost assuredly involved in the bite.] 21:23, Today: teslas, on behalf of VIL, rolled 11 using 1d20+4. Fort save vs poison. One of the chocobos remains tense with terror. The other one flails wildly at the ropes binding it to the sled, but the ropes hold. 21:26, Today: teslas rolled 14 using 1d20+6. This motion seems to make the other chocobo much less comfortable than it already is. [Private to VIL: The site of your bite burns horribly, and then stops. You take an additional 4 damage.] Round 3: 22: Chocobos 22: VIL [Private to GM: Round 1 of Poisoning.] [Private to GM:19: Big Spider] 18: ZEIG 10: DAI [Private to GM: Tick on the difficult terrains.] 8: JACK : Total Defense 8: Bound Soldier 7: Sara 5: Goblins 4: Spiders People: PC's are their usuals. A shadow moves across the battlefield to the south. Everyone, except DAI, but he still has a pretty good idea, looks up and sees the body of an even larger spider crawling on top of the canopy of trees above. It is currently located roughly above where the two goblins are. Firing at this spider has a 20% miss chance through the branches and trees. DAI, you will have to stand up or suffer a 50% chance due to the further blockage from your bush. The running soldier, still quite tied up, moves further away from the party down the forest road. He is lost from sight over a small crest. Sara attempts to calm the chocobo that isn't flailing about, and does so. She then turns to VIL and casts Cure on him. Move action then Standard action. Afterwards she takes a quick step to the "right" to get a little further from the panicked chocobo. 23:08, Today: teslas rolled 8 using 1d8+2. Cure. 23:07, Today: teslas rolled 19 using 1d20+4. CD 10 handle animal. Goblin #1 stops dead in his tracks and looks up, then screams. Goblin #3 does not look back and runs down the road in the same fashion as the bound soldier. Spider (#) shifts down 5' and bites at VIL, barely connecting with his unarmored body. 23:51, Today: teslas rolled 4 using 1d8+3. 23:50, Today: teslas rolled 13 using 1d20+4. VIL yet again feels the site of the bite inflame with pain. 23:53, Today: teslas, on behalf of VIL, rolled 5 using 1d20+4. For save vs. poison. Spider (%) pushes through the bushes to its side and then looks at VIL. Spider (@) bites at JACK, hitting squarely. He, too, feels the burn of the poison enter his bloodstream. 23:56, Today: teslas rolled 6 using 1d8+3. 23:56, Today: teslas rolled 19 using 1d20+4. 23:58, Today: teslas, on behalf of JACK, rolled 8 using 1d20+7. Fort save vs. poison (from memory +7). [Private to JACK: Doing full SIO on this one. PM me for something different.] The frantic chocobo again tries to break free of its bindings, but fails to do so apart from falling on its side and standing back up a little farther to the "left". It is squarking loudly. 00:00, Today: teslas rolled 15 using 1d20+6. The other chocobo's head is darting back and forth noticing all of the carnage around it, but manages to keep its composure. [Private to VIL: You feel the burn of the poison in your body as you begin your action.] Round 4: 22: Chocobos 22: VIL [Private to GM: 1 rounds of 4 damage. 9 rounds until 1d4 str damage.] 19: Big Spider 18: ZEIG 10: DAI [Private to GM: Tick on the difficult terrains.] 8: JACK [Private to GM: 1 rounds of 4 damage. 10 rounds until 1d4 str damage.] 7: Sara 5: Goblins 4: Spiders People: PC's are their usuals.
