The bad thing about Play By Post (one of the bad things, at least) is that by the time we've reached our objective I've already forgotten what the hell we were doing.

Uhhhh, something like this:

I. Save the world.
  A. Go talk to the elven king.
    1. Find a way to wake up elven king.
      a. Find Astos, who may know, in the drow lands.
        i. Retrieve crown for Astos's brother as per agreement, so that he may wake the king (and get revenge upon those that wronged him). Watch out for the things that destroyed the entire civilization while you're at it.

Do you guys think an NPC glossary would be useful? I have 90% of it in my head with scattered notes. I can't imagine you guys remember things like the name of the creepy guy that probably owns ZEIG's soul now.

Yes, 10x yes, and not just because of the guy that may or may not own my soul currently. PbP, especially when combined with other like games, tends to dilute information. I am 100% for this and 100% for utilizing it in my current games as well as others, as long as someone thinks they would benefit from it.

I'm all for this as well, long as it isn't too much work for the GMs.

No, it's not too much trouble. I'll get started on it whenever I'm bored. It might be after the new years' by the time it is done. I'll include a link to some posts involving them for a lot of them. I've been meaning to go back through and reread everything just because, maybe clean up some grammar mistakes on my part.

Okay, please confirm, are you going to check the rest of the structures here (there are some tombs) or make your way toward your best guess at which way will lead further downward.

You guys have been to 1, didn't jab the jewel eyes out.
You guys walked around 2, but didn't make any special effort to find a secret entrance.
You guys have been to 3, didn't find much.
You guys have looked at 4, but have not actually walked on it or looked closely.
5-8 have been seen from a distance.
You are currently at 9, and there doesn't appear to be much else to figure out or see.

Don't mistake all of those words as an indication there's anything important here, I'm just bored and out of beer. Moving downward is your best bet on making shit happen or progressing the story most quickly.

I'd say move onward, unless everyone feels we have the time for a couple blanket search checks.
