If you've got more IC questions or thoughts, I'd like it if you find a time to squeeze them in before, say, January 3rd. Elec and Morn will lay out a prospective plan sometime between Christmas and New Year's...and hopefully we'll get things rolling more steadily in the New Year.

Christmas is almost here, and my time has become very limited.  I'll be seeing about posting here and there, but mostly I'll be away for the next week.

Hope everyone had a lovely christmas.  back at work now, and I, TOO, shall see about getting in a post, but frankly, at this time, Bron-Bron just wants some alone time with 'Drin.  you know, to throttle the poor bastard for giving her all this stress. :P

As if being an elf around the holiday season isn't stressful enough as it is! Sheesh!

Posting this to all my games, just so people know why I've been slow/absent and why it may continue for a bit.

Right now things are really dire here where I am. We have one vehicle that won't start, one with no heat. No income currently. Running out of food, which is bad enough for 3 adults but with a 2 yr old and a dog it's that much worse. Can't buy medicines either. Didn't even do Christmas this year because no money. Behind in all bills except rent. My disability is stalled right now, no idea if/when it will go through. Wife needing surgery soon. Partner changing from short term to long term disability from work and in transition isn't being paid and may not be until transition ends which may not be for months in some cases. On top of it I've been fighting major depression and suicidal tendencies, and since those meds are the ones I'm out of I'm slowly but surely losing my damn mind. And this time of year is when I lost my fiancee and unborn son many years ago, and doesn't help my state of mind any either as one could imagine.

So I want to apologize for my absence/lack of posting for the last few weeks/months but I felt that with everything crashing down people deserved explanations for what was going on and why this was happening.

My lord, Sari.  Please, please take care of yourself, and don't mind this game!  *hugs*  I'll be praying - hard - for something good to come your way, post-haste.

No need to apologize for anything, Sari. No one should be burdened with so much and even if I may not be a religious person, I will for sure pray that you and those close to you can fight through this and come out on top of things.

Point of information: you guys are starting your two-round turn just behind the newly-opened gates. Even assuming you double-move, it'll be next turn before shooting at things is practical.

In combat, I tend not to be as fussy about it.

Also: GM fiat says Reanna (the only one with a lower speed) hops on one of the runners. You have two "turns" before you're in long range for bows.

Actually, I'm going to go ahead and fast-forward to the next turn, because you'll have this first one without the bad guys noticing what's up.

I'll see about getting a post in today.  I always envisioned Suku riding with Bron as we charge ahead, though Reanna could do that as well, or even Dholun.  I'll likely be riding behind the barricade at first, then breaking out from behind it as we get closer, or unless things go south in a hurry.

250 meters.  400 meters.  At something like 40 FEET per round, we have a LOOOOOONG way to go.  ^_^

Smart move on Reanna's part.  Taija won't notice the additional weight.

Sorry I've been quiet. Turns out we're moving within the next few weeks and needing to pack everything up. And making sure everyone who knows doesn't say anything about it, we're trying to surprise a few people so I don't want it mentioned on facebook or any other place it will be seen by some of those people. But none play here, so I can say it here. :)

So apologies again but I'll likely be kind of scarce for a bit.

My son turns 6 tomorrow, and the week is otherwise full of stuff, too. I've got an update in mind that should spare us more of "we keep running toward the enemy." Hopefully I'll get it up in the next 48 hours.
