Kali, at Amara's side, watches as the trolls were thrown down. She called upon her nature magic to summon fire to burn the corpses, sniffing at the smell. "They smell better when their burning - how is that possible?" she muttered at the drow woman

Twiggy steps away from the hole and gers out some oil with his torch ready "I know I am not going to live forever Copper but today isn't going to be the day I die "

"Unless more Trolls come through the cave opening here?" Copper asked "All your warriors are up there."

Round 1-3 Results----------

After the last of the 3 dead Trolls were pushed down the hole and splattered on the rocks below, their body parts fell into the water and will prove difficult to light up now. Amara cast a Mirror Image and there was nothing the party down there could do at the moment but watch up the shaft, in case something fell down it. The bodies were taken out of the water so Kalliyan could set them on fire.

While they were doing this, Byron, Myarra and Aliana clashed with the Troll in the middle of the cave. Aliana's Flight spell expires. Vernon says he can see daylight up the shaft.

Sister Aliana winced at the poor timing of her magical spell, and quickly cast another, using her divine power, so she had mobility if she needed it, while.the others started the combat

Round 4 results----------

Byron slashes and scores a solid hit to the Troll, as it screeches in pain, then tears right back into Byron, scoring a claw hit to his side with his armor protecting him from the rest. Myarra takes the creature down as the Wolverine adds in a few claws and bites while Aliana casts another Flight spell on herself. Vernon yells that another Troll is climbing down as it drops onto the rock and another Troll is seen coming in from the entrance.

Sister Aliana kept her wolverine trying to distract the troll her friends were fighting,  and summoned her wasp icon and sent a giant wasp to join them.
She then turned to the incoming troll and cast her largest fire spell

Amara frowned. "I'm going out - I can't do much if I can't see, and I don't have much fire to keep them dead." Amara headed out of the cave, not bothering to act stealthily, as she personally looked like her own personal army of 8.

I can see more Trolls up the shaft. They look like they're ready to drop rocks if we try to climb up.

Byron continues to swing away at the troll(s).

I have to agree with Kali, the smell better burning than to do alive.

Twiggy stands and waits.

Myarra keeps on eye on the troll at the entrance, but it's too far away for her to worry about at the moment.  Instead she waits for the next troll to reach the bottom of the tunnel and adds her blade to Byron's.

Round 5 and 6 results----------

Amara, not being able to do anything from the cave below, hurries out of the cave with the intention of levitating to the cave above while the trolls are distracted with the fight. She makes it past Roenthelm, who's guarding the entrance, and makes it outside with all of her duplicates and locates a safe place to begin her levitation up.

While waiting for the Trolls to get into melee with Byron, Myarra and Aliana, Byron and Myarra make sure the regenerating Troll stays down, then goes into melee when the nearest Troll is close enough to swing on. All three of them trade blows, swords slashing Troll flesh and Myarra getting scratches from Troll claws, then Aliana lights up the cave entrance with a Flame Strike spell on the incoming Troll, while her summoned pets continue to harass the enemy.

Twiggy looks up the shaft and wonders if can climb it. Using his natural halfling ability he tries to scale the wall to reach the others.

Round 7, 8 and 9 Results----------

Byron attacks the weakened Troll and takes the thing down, but it's still Regenerating. Myarra and the last standing Troll move in to Aliana and her animal friends. The Troll gets ahold of the Wolverine and tears the thing apart as Myarra slashes the feasting Troll with 2 wicked hits and sends the monster to the ground. You all can see that it's starting to regenerate, but for the moment, nothing is coming down the the shaft leading outside. Vernon did mention that there are Trolls up there waiting to drop rocks down, in case any of you were tempted to climb up. Aliana was going to shoot arrows, but now it's just a waste of ammo.

The party took out the Trolls fairly quickly, so taking out the incapacitated Regenerating ones didn't take much time at all. By the time you're done with that, Amara has Levitated to the upper cave and walks through the entrance...all 8 of her.

Byron walks over to the shaft going down to tell all who is down there that they were OK up there and he sees Twiggy climbing up. The 2 exchange joking insults, a rope is lowered to Twiggy, and he is pulled up to the next level above. As Amara walks into the cave, Shannon comes running in through the entrance as well. Rocks and dirt wasn't going to keep the Lynx away from her 2 legged slave.
