Sir Thomas sees that Lady Terea and Swordsman Waston are holding the line. As a knight and cavalryman he needs to be mobile. Moving around the barricade he gets the first and second zombies in his sight. With a great intake of breath he unleashes a cone of fire at the two lumbering beasts.

His allies may notice a reddish glow about them and will more likely see the fire that afflicts their enemies when they land a blow.

Sir Thomas, seeing that the lance was doing little, drops it and pulls out his battle axe. He took a strong swing and hit the creature squarely. This weapon should be a bit more effective, hopefully.

His horse thrashes out again and makes a few blows as well.

Sylvia drew back her dagger and took a more measured swing at the zombie.  That wild attack didn't work so well last time, but that's not surprising.  It's hard to attack while drawing a blade.

Winding up, he takes another swing at the creature, his aim was a bit off, but his attack was quite strong. His horse again does its barrage of attacks. It gets two decent attacks in, but the third could be problematic.

Sorry about the brief description, but I'm sick and am just doing a quick update.

You are able to drop the front most zombie.  Two more soldiers arrive, they charge past you and engage the next one.  After a few more moments, they put it down, though one of the men died in the process.  A work crew rushes in and seals the breach while you hold off the remaining two zombies.

The battle was hard fought, but you survived and held the city.  The undead horde outside makes no further move against you this day.
